Episode 260: Nerves of Registeel
After making their stop on the ABC Islands, the group set their course for Ganga Island, where the anciet city in the image of Registreel is located. Brendan, May, and Max were amazed to hear about their plan to bare witness on Registeel. May and Max remembered their experience with Regirock and hoped it would be different than the last time.
"How much further are we until we reach Ganga Island?" Sora asked.
"We should be almost there in a few minutes. After I drop you off, I'll have to head back to the mainland. You will have to wait for the next ferry to come in tomorrow," the captain said.
"We got a whole day to pass the time," Sora said.
"You mean to check out the ancient city," Brendan said.
"Yeah and see Registeel," Max added.
Sora didn't say anything since he didn't want to risk saying the wrong thing since Regirock went berserk.
Meanwhile in Kanto, Matori was at a tizzy, having to learn Jessie and James's Pokémon went missing.
"Just how could three Pokémon go missing suddenly?!" Matori exclaimed.
"I don't know, ma'am. We're on a full investigation on the disappearance of those Pokémon and we shall inform you as soon as we discover more," a guard said.
"See that you do" Matori took her leave just so she could be in her office. As she returned to her office, Butch and Cassidy were in the mess hall, celebrating the demise of Jessie and James. They were drinking some tequila with a lime wedge
"Ding-dong the bitch is dead!" Cassidy cheered.
"Along with her flying monkey and her little chatterbox cat too!" Butch added.
"Jessie had been such a pain from the day we met. She had been nothing but a wart on my side. And whatever killed them did more than wart remover could ever do," Cassidy said.
"Any idea on how they died?" Butch asked.
"Don't know, don't care. All that matters to me is that they're dead," Cassidy said.
"Yeah, you're right. No point on questioning someone's misfortune, especially when it's our happiness," Butch said.
"I'll drink to that!" Cassidy said, taking a drink. She did some shaking for a moment. "Damn, that's good!" Butch took a drink as well and he did the same thing.
"Ooh," Butch sighed.
They continued their celebration, not even caring about Genghis and Kahnnie being missing.
Back on Ganga Island, Sora, Kairi, Brendan, May, Max, Amy, Tai, Kari, and their friends continued exploring the island for any signs of a relic. What they saw was a Baltoy spinning by.
"Guys, look!" Tai said.
"It's a Baltoy," Ken said.
"Why would that be on the island?" Mimi asked.
"We saw some Baltoy at the Regirock city. It only stands that Baltoy can be found around ancient ruins," Max said, adjusting his glasses.
"You're right, Max. The place we're looking for is probably nearby," Izzy said.
"There's something else coming," Amy said. What the group saw was a large black Pokémon that resembles a mud statue with two stubby legs. It has a wide, spherical head with a rounded protrusion on top. Around its head are many large, pink eyes with yellow, beak-like protrusions between each. A wavy, white rim runs along the upper edges of the eyes. Its torso has white ring markings, each with a downward extension and yellow dot in the middle. It has spherical arms with a rounded protrusion. These arms are not attached to its body but are usually kept floating close byusing its psychic powers.
"What is that thing?" May asked.
"It's Baltoy's evolved form, Claydol," Max said.
"Claydol, huh?" Sora asked, taking out his Pokédex and scanned the Pokémon.
Claydol, the Clay Doll Pokémon
The evolved form of Baltoy
Type: Ground/Psychic
Claydol is an enigma that appeared from a clay statue made by an ancient civilization dating back 20,000 years. This Pokémon shoots beams from both its hands.
"Makes sense for Claydol to be floating around since they're Baltoy's evolved form," Sora said, putting his Pokédex away.
"You think we should follow them and see if they lead us there?" Brendan asked.
"We might as well since coming this far. I mean, it can't be too far, right?" Sora asked. Everyone all agreed and followed the two Pokémon. Baltoy and Claydol made their way back to what looks like an ancient city, but the city itself appears to be silver. Everything there is all silver; the houses, the soil, and the rocks themselves. "Look at this."
"Everything here is solid silver," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Not only that, but so shiny," Davis said. He saw his reflection on the wall of a house and started making faces. Amy laughs and does the same thing.
"Izzy, how is any of this possible?" Max asked.
"It's not. I admit it's all fascinating, but it's very unusual. How this is possible is something only the inhabitants know for sure," Izzy stated.
"You think it was the magic?" Yolei asked.
"No way," Davis said.
"He's right. There's no telling what made this happen," Sora said.
Everyone started looking around and saw murals on the walls, telling a story of some sorts. Sora and Kairi knew it something had been done to make Registreel angry.
Over to Jessie, James, Meowth, Genghis, and Kahnnie, they began to set their plan to take down Team Magma and Team Aqua before heading back to Kanto. But in the meantime...
"Did you learn anything about Team Aqua's plan?" Jessie asked.
"Only about a blue orb," Genghis said.
"That sounds familiar. They mentioned that before," James said.
"Well, they already found it. They also said something about controlling Kyogre with it," Kahnnie said.
"Controlling Kyogre?" James asked.
"They said about learning how to use it to make the earth one big ocean," Kahnnie said. Three of the former Team Rocket members got wide-eyed.
"One big ocean?" Jessie, James, and Meowth asked.
"Yeah, that is what they said," Genghis said.
"Now that's pretty bad if the found one of those too," Meowth said, catching Genghis and Kahnnie off guard.
"What do you mean by too?" Genghis asked.
"They found an orb too, but it's red. They said they planning on making the world into one big spit of land," Meowth said.
"That's insane!" Genghis exclaimed.
"Is that why we're sticking around Hoenn?" Kahnnie asked.
"Team Magma and Team Aqua are going to destroy the world and we can't let it happen. The world needs both the land and sea or else the whole planet is dead," Meowth said.
"Meowth's right. Team Rocket plans to conquer the world, not destroy it. And we can't let any of it happen," James said.
"We don't know how much time we have, but we need to hurry," Jessie said.
With that said, the Team Rocket defectors set off to find Team Magma and Team Aqua from using Groudon and Kyogre to destroy the world.
Over to Team Magma, Maxie stares at the Red Orb and smiles triumphantly to his success. Tabitha and Courtney stands besides him.
"At last, after all these years, the Red Orb is now in my grasp," Maxie said, taking the orb in his hands.
"Our success is your success, Maxie sir," Tabitha said.
"All we need to do is find Groudon and wake it up," Courtney said.
"Agreed. And I already know where to look. The volcanic island near Mossdeep City," Maxie said. "Legends says that is where Groudon sleeps. With the Red Orb in my possession, I can use its power to channel every volcano on earth. Even the inactive ones will be active again, thanks to Groudon." Maxie gives off an evil laugh.
"Your plan is brilliant, sir," Tabitha said.
"When the volcanoes erupts simultaneously, there will be enough magma to cover the entire world, drying out the seas. And Team Aqua's ambitions will fail," Maxie said.
Over to Team Aqua, the Blue Orb was at last in Archie's hands as he grins victoriously. Archie laughs evilly while Shelly is quiet. It was obvious that she was still disturbed by the truth she witnessed.
"After all these years, our hardwork has paid off!" Archie said. "Now that I have the Blue Orb, I can use the power of Kyogre in its Primal Form and cover the entire ocean with an endless body of water!" Shelly didn't say anything. She remained quiet and knew it wasn't going to end well. This has not escaped the notice of the Team Aqua boss. "Is something wrong, Shelly? You have been quiet."
"I just have a lot on my mind," Shelly said. Shelly didn't know what else to say. She couldn't help but wonder how Archie will react to hearing that his new world won't be the same as the world Primal Kyogre will make.
"Have this on your mind, Shelly. Our time is near. Team Magma's plan to make the world one huge land will end in failure!" Archie proclaimed. Shelly was starting to become more afraid.
"It cannot be worth this," Shelly said in her thoughts.
Over to Lisia, she rode on the back of Ali as she had departed from Sootopolis City searching for her uncle.
"Uncle Wallace, where are you?" Lisia asked. She saw Riku, Naminé, Eevee, and Azurill below them and landed on the ground.
"Hello again. Haven't seen you since you rescued me. Why are you here?" Lisia asked.
"We could ask you the same thing," Riku said. "Shouldn't you be back home?"
"How could I stay home when my uncle is out there?" Lisia asked.
"She's right, Riku. Team Magma and Team Aqua might have something to do with it," Naminé said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
"That is why we're here, Naminé. Sora and Kairi will be in danger too if they're in the middle of this," Riku stated.
"And so will everyone else," a new voice said. The voice belonged to Steven Stone. With him are two Pokémon. One is a Metagross, but all silver with its cross being gold. The other being an Aggron. "They must be stopped." Riku, Naminé, and Lisia couldn't agree more. Team Magma and Team Aqua will be a threat as long as they're active.
Back on Ganga Island, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Brendan, May, Max, Amy, Tai, Kari, and their friends continued looking around Registeel City and went further down to learn more about this ancient Pokémon.
"This is really something," Tai said.
"Where is this path taking us?" Amy asked.
"I don't know, but I think we'll find the answer the further we go," Izzy said. They followed the trail and it ends up leading them to the legendary Pokémon Registeel asleep just like Regirock was prior to the incident involving two hunters. "This is it."
"Registeel?" Matt asked.
"As in Registeel along with Regirock and Regice?" Davis asked.
"The very same," Izzy said. "Sora, Kairi, May, Max, you said you had an encounter with Regirock back in Regirock City. How did Regirock awake?"
"Well, like we already said. We were with two archeologists who were on the same trail as we are right now. We were followed by a couple of Pokémon hunters with Stunfisk, the kind you can find in the Unova region and the kind you can find in the Galar region," Sora explained.
"Regirock must have thought we were out to get it, so it attacked us," May said.
"It would have been such a mess if Sora hadn't convinced it that we came in peace," Max said. Amy was a bit surprised to hear it.
"Really?" Amy asked.
"Really. Just like Max said, it would been a mess for us. Somehow Regirock heard his voice and went through. Regirock just went back to sleep after that," Kairi said.
"Is it always like this?" Amy asked.
"In some ways, it is," Sara said.
"Now to snap some pictures," Sora said, taking out his Pokédex and took a few pictures of the sleeping Pokémon.
Not too far, two dragon-like Pokémon were going at it with each other. One being a Salamence firing its Flamethrower attack at a Pokémon that resembles a slightly insectoid, bipedal dragon. It is primarily light green and has a pair of large rhombus-shaped wings with red trim, toeless hind legs, and skinny arms with three-clawed hands. Its tail has several dark green stripes and three small green rhombus shapes with red trims at the end. It has large eyes and a pair of green antennae that point back. The eyes have red covers that prevent sand from getting into its eyes. This Pokémon is known as Flygon. Salamence takes a swing at Flygon and it goes down for the count. Flygon makes a crash landing at Registeel City, catching everyone's attention from inside.
"What was that?" TK asked.
"I don't know, but we should go see," Tai said. Everyone went to see what the commotionwas about. They got their answer when they saw the injured Pokémon before them.
"Wow! A Flygon!" Max exclaimed.
"And it's hurt," Kari said. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned the injured Pokémon to see what it has to say.
Flygon, the Mystic Pokémon
The evolved form of Vibrava
Type: Ground/Dragon
Flygon is nicknamed "the elemental spirit of the desert." Because its flapping wings whip up a cloud of sand, this Pokémon is always enveloped in a sandstorm while flying.
"We're nowhere near a desert, so what is it doing all the way out here?" Sora asked, putting his Pokédex away.
"Maybe it got lost. Or maybe it was doing its own travels, just like we are," Brendan said.
"That might be it," Izzy said. Tai went up to the injured Flygon and patted it.
"There, there. You're going to be okay," Tai assured it. Flygon looked right Tai and sees his smiling face. Somehow, Flygon felt safe.
"Now to treat your injuries," Joe said, getting his first aid kit ready. "Tai, I need your help to calm Flygon down."
"Sure," Tai said. Joe takes out a bottle of Max Potion to heal its wounds.
"Now, Flygon, this will sting for a moment, but I need you to bare it as best as you can," Joe said. He sprays the potion onto Flygon's wounds, making it screech in pain. Flygon tries to get back up, only to fall back down. "Tai! Keep it calm!"
"Right!" Tai said. He rubs the mystic Pokémon's head. "Take it easy. Joe is trying to help you. He won't be able to do it if you won't let him." Flygon nodded and it held on as Joe treated its wounds to the best of his abilities and wrapped it in some bandages.
"There. That should do it," Joe said when he was done.
"That's good to know," Kairi said.
"What could have happen to make Flygon fall like that?" May wondered.
"That's a good question," Brendan said. May soon got her answer when the same Salamence from before came diving down at them. Everyone ducked out of the way when Salamence flew back up into the air. "It had to be that Salamence!" Brendan proclaimed. Sora took out his Pokédex again and scanned it.
Salamence, the Dragon Pokémon
The evolved form of Shelgon
Type: Dragon/Flying
Salamence came about as a result of a strong, long-held dream of growing wings. It is said that this powerful desire triggered a sudden mutation in this Pokémon's cells, causing it to sprout its magnificent wings.
"I'm going to guess that was the cause of it," Sora said, putting his Pokédex away. Salamence lands onto the ground and makes its way over to the injured Flygon. Sora was about to step in, but Tai did it for him.
"Leave it alone!" Tai told the dragon Pokémon. He took out his Pokéball and threw it. "Go Flame!" Tai threw it and his Charizard came out to battle the dragon Pokémon. "Use Mega Punch!" Flame came at Salamence and delivered a Mega Punch onto it. Salamence roared in anger and swipes at the Charizard with Dragon Claw. Flame blocked it with his arms, but got hurt in the process. "Flame! Use Breaking Swipe!" Flame swung his tail right at the attacking dragon Pokémon. "Now use Flamethrower!" Flame fires Flamethrower right at Salamence, but it blocks it with its own Flamethrower attack. The two Flamethrower attacks locks on as not one is backing down. Flygon watches on as it was impressed by Tai's persistence. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Brendan, May, Max, Amy, Kari, and the rest watches on as Flame holds his own, but Salamence increases the flames and overpowers the Charizard's Flamethrower attack. Salamence comes at Flame with Dragon Claw again to finish Flame off, but Flygon attacks by firing Dragon Breath right at the attacking Salamence. Tai turned to see Flygon had saved Flame. Tai smiled feeling grateful. Salamence comes at Flygon with Dragon Claw. Sora wasn't gonna have that.
"No you don't!" Sora said, taking out a Pokéball he threw it. "Go for it, Gallade!" The Pokéball opens and Gallade swings his blades upon entry. "Gallade! Use Psycho Cut!" Gallade swipes at the dragon Pokémon with his blade emitting psychic energy and swipes at the dragon Pokémon. Salamence swipes Gallade and goes flying. Kairi takes out Gardevoir's Pokéball and threw it.
"Gardevoir! Go help Gallade!" Kairi called out. Gardevoir comes out and takes Gallade in with her psychic powers. Gallade was grateful to her and takes her by the hand. Salamence comes at the blade Pokémon again. "Gardevoir! Use Moonblast!" Gardevoir forms pink energy and hurls it right at the dragon Pokémon, making it shatter some old pettery and slam against a wall.
Inside the temple, Registeel awakes and sets off to get rid of the source of the disturbance. Salamence glares at Flygon. Flygon stares right back at Salamence. Flygon fired Dragon Breath again, but dodges the attack.. Flygon tries again and again to land a hit onto Salamence, but the dragon Pokémon avoids with ease. Just then, a Flash Cannon strikes Salamence and goes flying backwards and lands on its back. Everyone turned to see Registeel coming towards them.
"It's Registeel!" Max exclaimed.
"And it's awake," Matt said.
"What do you think caused it to wake up?" Cody asked.
"It might be the battle going on out here. Registeel must be attacking because Salamence disturbed its slumber," Izzy said.
Salamence gets back up and sets its sights on the iron Pokémon, so it starts up by attacking with Dragon Claw, but Registeel attacks with Metal Claw, overpowering Salamence. Salamence was nowhere near giving up, so it fires Flamethrower right at the iron Pokémon, engulfing it in flames.
"Registeel is in real trouble if Salamence hit it with Flamethrower!" Max said.
"You're right. Registeel is at a disadvantage against a Fire Type attack like Flamethrower," TK said.
Registeel took the attack, becoming engulfed by the flames. Its whole body turned red due to the heat. Registeel swings its arm and the flames go out.
"No way!" Yolei gasped.
"That Registeel is tougher than nails if it's taking all that Flamethrower," Davis said.
"How?! Registeel is a Steel Type Pokémon, so it should be weak against Fire Type attacks!" Max said.
"I agree. Somehow that Registeel has managed to take the heat like it was no problem at all," Izzy said. Registeel comes at Salamence with Iron Head, but the dragon Pokémon fires Flamethrower right at Registeel again, but it cuts through the flames like it was nothing and lands a hit onto it. Salamence was nowhere quitting as it comes at Registeel with Dragon Claw, but Registeel fires Hyper Beam right at Salamence and it goes flying into the sky. Salamence then falls straight into the ocean.
"Whoa," Matt said.
"That is one tough Pokémon," Sora said. Registeel sets its attention on the group. "Uh-oh. Run!" Not needing to be told twice, the group started running when Registeel fires Flash Cannon at them. Tai manages to carry Flygon, knowing it won't be able to run or fly until its healed.
"I got you, Flygon. I'll keep you safe," Tai said. Flygon looked at Tai and felt assured by Tai. Flame and Kari caught up with him.
"Tai, are you okay?" Kari asked.
"I am. It's Flygon I'm concerned about," Tai said. Kari felt her brother's concern for the mystic Pokémon and wanted to help it anyway she could.
"I'll help you care for Flygon, Tai," Kari said. Tai was thankful to have a sister like Kari. She took the mystic Pokémon in her arm and helped it to the ground to rest. "Here, Flygon. Just rest."
Registeel was making its way to the rest of the group as Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it. "Combusken! Go!" The Pokéball opens as Combusken does a fighting stance. "Use Flame Charge!" Combusken charges right towards the iron Pokémon and lands a hit. Registeel is a little phased by the attack. "Now use Double Kick!" Combusken lands a couple of kicks onto the large Pokémon. "Double Kick again and again!" Combusken does a series of kicks onto the iron Pokémon, but the kicks didn't even make Registeel flinch, so it grabs the young fowl Pokémon by the legs and gave him a toss. Sora turned to Gallade. "Okay Gallade! Use Brick Break!" Gallade jumps and does a chop attack onto Registeel, but Registeel bats the blade Pokémon to the side with its arm. Registeel prepares to fire Flash Cannon with a Flamethrower hits Registeel from behind. It turned to see Tai and Flame behind it.
"Get away from my friends!" Tai said. Registeel sets its attention to Tai and his Charizard, ready to attack.
"Tai!" Sara gasped. Registeel comes at Flame with Metal Claw.
"Dodge and use Mega Punch!" Tai ordered. Flame avoids Registeel and lands a Mega Punch onto Registeel. Registeel makes a comeback by landing Iron Head onto Flame, causing Flame to flinch. "Now use Breaking Swipe!" Flame swings at Registeel and it blocks with its hand. "Flamethrower!" Flame fires Flamethrower right at Registeel and it takes a few steps back. Sora and Brendan decided to join right in to deal with Registeel.
"Sora, let's team up and see if we can calm Registeel down," Brendan suggested.
"It's worth a shot," Sora said. He turned to his two Fighting Types. "Combusken, Gallade, go right in." Combusken and Gallade step in front of Sora, waiting for their trainer's instructions. Brendan took out two of his Pokéballs and threw them.
"Sceptile! Aggron! Go!" Brendan called out. Sceptile and Aggron both came out and waited for Brendan's instructions. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned Brendan's Aggron.
Aggron, the Iron Armor Pokémon
The evolved form of Lairon
Type: Steel/Rock
Aggron claims an entire mountain as its own territory. It mercilessly beats up anything that violates its environment. This Pokémon vigilantly patrols its territory at all times.
Sora was impressed to see his Sceptile had evolved, and for the fact he had another fully evolved Pokémon at his disposal.
"Ready Sora?" Brendan asked.
"When you are," Sora nodded. "Combusken! Use Fire Punch! Gallade! Use Psycho Cut!"
"Sceptile! Use Dragon Claw! Aggron! Use Power-Up Punch!" Brendan ordered. The four Pokémon launched their attacks onto Registeel. Gallade strikes Registeel with Psycho Cut while Sceptile, Combusken, and Aggron all land their contact making attacks onto Registeel. Registeel manages to bat them away with its arms, but not one of the attacking Pokémon was gonna call it quits. Kari and Flygon comes to the scene and witness what's been going on.
"Tai," Kari could only say. She and Flygon witness the brawl going on. Registeel overpowers all of the assaulting Pokémon. Sora was looked over to his partner.
"I'm gonna need your help, Pikachu," Sora said.
"Pi," Pikachu said.
Pikachu was about to step in when two figures, one being blue and one being red darts passes the group and lands a hit onto Registeel. The group were surprised to see Latios and Latias for the first time.
"Latios, Latias," Kairi said in disbelief. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned them both.
Latias, the Eon Pokémon
Type: Dragon/Psychic
Latias is highly sensitive to the emotions of people. If it senses any hostility, this Pokémon ruffles the feathers all over its body and cries shrilly to intimidate the foe.
Latios, the Eon Pokémon
Type: Dragon/Psychic
Latios has the ability to make others see an image of what it has seen or imagines in its head. This Pokémon is intelligent and understands human speech.
"Latios and Latias came to our aide, just like they came to your parents aide," Sora said.
Latios and Latias attacks with Dragon Pulse, making Registeel step back. Latios opens his mouth and white sparkles form and gather in front of him, forming together into a pink ball of energy. He then fires a massive pink beam from the ballat Registeel.
"Luster Purge," Izzy said.
"That was awesome!" Max said.
All of the battling Pokémon gave the iron Pokémon an a huge assault. Registeel manages to get back up as Latios and Latias made their sounds, communicating with Registeel.
"These humans are not evil. They were only here for knowledge and the Salamance you fought was the source of the disturbance." - Latios subtitle.
"He's right. They didn't mean to cause any problems for you." - Latias subtitle.
Registeel understood and went back to the temple to go to sleep. Latios and Latias levitated before the group as Kari carries Flygon with her by shoulder, rejoining the group.
"You helped us. Thanks," Sora said. Latios and Latias nodded and looked at Kairi. They smiled having to see that she was indeed the daughter of Yuta and Mirei.
"Look at that. Those two must like Kairi," Max said. Kairi realized something.
"Wait a minute. My mom and dad said they were saved by a Latios and Latias," Kairi said.
"What do you mean, Kairi?" Kari asked.
"My parents were sent a tip of a man named Jakira being in the mountains outside of Pallet Town, not knowing it was a trap. Latios and Latias were the ones who saved them at the last minute by using their psychic powers to keep boulders from crushing them.
"That's right. They did mention them before. You think they're the same ones?" Sora asked.
"They have to be if they came to our aide," Kairi said. "You knew we were in trouble and you came to help us. Thanks." Latios and Latias nodded.
"Yeah. You saved Kairi's mom and dad. Kairi and her grandma are grateful for it. Also, I have to be thankful since I got to meet them," Sora said.
Latios and Latias smiled warmly as Latios rubbed Sora on his spiky head. They take off just as they appeared.
"So, should we get a move on to Mossdeep City for Sora's Gym battle?" Davis asked.
"There isn't going to be a ferry until tomorrow morning. So, we're gonna have to wait until then," Kairi said.
"I don't have a problem on waiting. That means, I get some training done," Sora said. The group all knew Sora was right since he had to get some training done. For the remainder of the day, Sora did some training exchanging his Pokémon from his Pokédex. He exchanged Grovyle, Combusken, Marshtomp, Huntail and Gallade for Beldum, Meditite, Crawdaunt, Shroomish and Dustox. Kairi had exchanged Gardevoir, Gorebyss, and Mawile for Gulpin, Roselia, and Skitty. "Okay Dustox! Use Psybeam! Beldum! Dodge and use Take Down!" Dustox fires Psybeam again and again as Beldum comes at the poison moth Pokémon firing psychokinetic energy from his antennae. "That's great! Dustox! Dodge now!" Dustox avoids Beldum's attack. "Now use Sliver Wind!" Dustox flaps his wings and heads right for Beldum. "Dodge that!" Beldum avoids Silver Wind. "Now use Iron Head!" Beldum darts towards Dustox. "Dodge it, Dustox!" Dustox avoids Beldum's attack. "That was great!" Beldum suddenly started to evolve, catching everyone off guard. Beldum had evolved into a Metang. "You evolved into a Metang!" The newly evolved Metang beamed. With that done he calls his Metang and Dustox back and sends out Metitie and Shroomish. Tai, Kari, and the rest were amazed by Sora's Shrromish. "Okay Meditite! Start things up with Force Palm! Shroomish, you dodge and use Headbutt!" Meditite comes at the mushroom Pokémon and Shroomish dodges and uses Headbutt. "Dodge it!" Meditite avoids the attack and glares at each other. Both Pokémon started to evolve. Meditite was now a Medicham and Shroomish had evolved into a Breeloom. The training went on as Kairi was training for the Grand Festival. Kairi took out the two evolutionary stones and used them both, making Skitty and Roselia evolve. Skitty was now a Delcatty while Kairi had also gained a Roserade.
"Way to go, you two," Kairi said. The two newly evolved Pokémon beamed.
Unknown to Sora and Kairi is that there an upcoming storm. A small change in the weather had occured, but not enough to make everyone notice. Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre were getting close to awakening; very close. History repeats itself as Sora and Kairi were about to find out.
