With PIIO at his side, the building and creation expanding the Tree of Vea Lacei was faster, richer, and boundless with what together they sculpted. Their ideas were combined ten-fold, and PIIO was always by its father's side….PIIO only compounded beyond what even Cassius could with his mind, for PIIO was born of What Never Could Be, and its origin produced by The Impossible….The Creations they made together were beautiful, unimaginable even to The Many, that had become treated as a "single entity" in Cassius and PIIO's shared imaginations….and Cassius enjoyed what they created….He loved all of it.
The Many spoke to both of them, and it was as though having two parents, though one was born of the other's teardrop….and PIIO welcomed The Many to create with them, and what They created with Cassius amounted to Columns of the Gods, Pyramids of the Ruled, Ecclesiastic of the Unwritten.
The Tree of Vea Lacei would be firmly rooted in its beginnings of these "Three".
PIIO built when Cassius wished it, and The Many whispered in awe, believing PIIO was but a third set of hands to their own, with Cassius's….Sometimes Cassius would ask PIIO to build without him, but walk along and watch, as PIIO erected great swathes of countryside, mountains, beyond and cities even….He would inquire PIIO to suggest what else they could build, and where, as he strolled through his ever-growing dreamworld.
A friend, as well as a Child of Cassius, PIIO would listen and provide its recommendations….but PIIO was a Child of Cassius, and so were many other creations of the Tree of Vea Lacei….and PIIO understood this and knew it made it less special.
Of particular distress to PIIO was when Cassius spoke to it as though PIIO were Cassius's missing Son, Solan, and PIIO mentioned this one day, outside a city they had built that reached the bottom of the ocean, and the clouds of the sky, "….Cassius, Father, Thee are sad when thee speaks to me as though I am the faded Solan of thine former life….If thee art so sad, why not let I tend to the Dream of this Dawn we've begun….The Many will help me, and Thee and I will always be connected….Thee will only wish, and I will make it, what thee wishes forth."
"And what will I do, Tear Child—Brood while you build?….The only happiness I have known since I woke to walk this world of my Dreamer…." and Cassius considered PIIO's offer in silence.
PIIO's return was animated and full of "jumping lights"—its laughter, "….Thee will form thine desires, no?….The Dreamer blesses thee with this 'clay' by which We build….Why not create that which thee desires most?….If the Dreamer cannot be woken, then thee might sculpt Her likeness, honor She in this Dreamworld, Father."
Cassius considered long and hard this idea offered up by PIIO, as they continued to build-out the Tree of Vea Lacei upward, inward, and beyond them….The Many listening in quiet.
