Episode 267: Ice and Snorunt!
After departing from Serrosey City, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, and Meowth departed the ship.
"What a cruise," Sora said, stretching his arms.
"It was real enjoyable," Kairi said.
"I'll say. It'll be nice if there was a swimming pool," Meowth said.
"I don't think it's one of those cruises, Meowth." - Angel subtitle.
"It'll be nice if it was, Angel," Meowth said.
Team Chaotix disguised came off the ship following Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, and Meowth right up to Sootopolis City.
"We move," Vector said. The rest of his team follows them throughout the island. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, and Meowth looked over the island and saw that Sootolpolis City is on the very next island and they had to go the town on the other side of the island in order to reach it. As they journeyed through the island, they were approached by a young man wearing a yellow karate gi. Team Chaotix knew a battle was about to take place, so they decided to watch.
"Are you Sora Ketchum, the Pokémon League Champion of Kanto and Johto?" The young man asked.
"Um, yeah," Sora said, knowing a battle was imminent.
"Good, because I have been searching for a worthy opponent. I wish to have a battle with you! We shall battle with two Pokémon each!" The young man challenged.
"Sure you're on!" Sora said, accepting the challenge. The young man took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Go for it, Slowbro!" The young man shouted as the Pokéball opened and let's out a Slowbro. This Slowbro was different than the ones he had seen. This form of Slowbro has purple markings on its upper head and ears, tail, and has a shell on its left arm, like it was an arm cannon. Sora had to guess it had to be a Shellder on its arm. The spikes on the Shellder are larger and more conical. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned the Slowbro.
Slowbro Galarian Form, the Hermit Crab Pokémon
The evolved form of Slowpoke Galarian Form
Type: Poison/Psychic
A Shellder bite set off a chemical reaction with the spices inside Slowbro's body, causing Slowbro to become a Poison-type Pokémon. If this Pokémon squeezes the tongue of the Shellder biting it, the Shellder will launch a toxic liquid from the tip of its shell.
"So, that's a Galarian Slowbro. A little different thatn I thought it was. Wonder what a Galarian Slowking looks like," Sora said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Time to make your debut! Go! Absol!" Absol emerges from his Pokéball and awaits his orders. "Absol! Start up with Razor Wind!" Absol began to build energy in its psyche-like horn.
"Slowbro! Use Shell Side Arm!" The young man ordered. Slwobro fires a purple toxic fluid from the shellder on its arm. Absol unleashed Razor Wind and it cuts through the attack and struck the Galarian hermit crab Pokémon. "Slowbro! Use Body Press!" Slowbro came at Absol to land a hit onto him.
"Absol! Night Slash!" Sora ordered. Absol swipes at Slowbro and lands a heavy blow. "Now use Dark Pulse!" Absol fires Dark Pulse and struck Slowbro, causing heavy damage. Slowbro had been taken down. The young man calls his Slowbro back.
"Not bad, but lets see how you handle my next one," the young man said, taking out his Pokéball and throws it. "Go! Corsola! He threw his Pokéball to see that this Corsola is very different than either Kairi's or Lana's Corsola. It has an overall bleached white substance and has a grey underbelly, similar to bleached coral (dying coral). It also has half-closed pink eyes, and it now has a perpetual frown rather than a smile. Its arms and branches have a distinctly semitransparent appearance to them. The semitransparent branches that grow from its body are not actually corporeal. Sora took out his Pokédex once again and scanned this Pokémon.
Corsola Galarian Form, the Coral Pokémon
Type: Ghost
Sudden climate change wiped out this ancient kind of Corsola. This Pokémon absorbs others' life-force through its branches. Watch your step when wandering areas oceans once covered. What looks like a stone could be this Pokémon, and it will curse you if you kick it.
"Well, I don't want to kick then," Sora said, putting his Pokédex away. He looked at Absol. You still raring to go?" Absol nodded. "Great! Dark Pulse!" Absol fired Dark Pulse to strike the Galarian coral Pokémon.
"Mirror Coat!" The young man ordered. Corsola's body glowed yellow-orange and reflects Dark Pulse and strikes Absol, causing heavy damage. Absol had been taken down. Sora calls back his Absol. "Get some rest, Absol. You did good against Slowbro." He puts Absol's Pokéball away and looked at his partner. "Go for it, Pikachu!" Pikachu nodded and stood before Corsola. Just then, Corsola started to evolve. The Galarian Corsola transforms into a Pokémon that looks like a dead coral. Its body is covered with coral branches and thorns, which is similar to those of Staghorn coral. Its top body is connected to the base, which has four limbs underneath and controls terrestrial movements. There are three holes in its face which resembles a ghost's face. Two small, semicircle-shaped at the top and an abstract shaped mouth where its face resides, having a white, spherical shape with red tired eyes and a small triangular-shaped mouth. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned the newly evolved Pokémon.
Cursola, the Coral Pokémon
The evolved form of Corsola Galarian Form
Type: Ghost
Its shell is overflowing with its heightened otherworldly energy. The ectoplasm serves as protection for this Pokémon's core spirit. Be cautious of the ectoplasmic body surrounding its soul. You'll become stiff as stone if you touch it.
"I knew you were closer to evolving, Cursola!" The young man praised.
"Be careful, Pikachu. Cursola is much stronger than Corsola," Sora said with caution.
"Chu," Pikachu said understanding.
"Pikachu! Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered. Pikachu fires Thunderbolt to strike Cursola.
"Mirror Coat!" The young man ordered. Cursola uses Mirror Coat to block Pikachu's own attack, but Sora had an ace up his sleeve.
"Pikachu! Dodge with Quick Attack!" Sora ordered. Pikachu runs to avoid his own attack and headed right towards Cursola. "Now use Iron Tail!" Pikachu swings his tail right at Cursola. "Now use Electro Ball!" Pikachu forms a ball of electricity and hurls right at the Ghost Type Pokémon.
"No you don't! Cursola! Use Mirror Coat!" The young man ordered. Cursola blocks with Mirror Coat again, but it took a huge strain on its body. Electro Ball gets reflected back.
"Use Iron Tail to block!" Sora ordered. Pikachu swings his tail to block Electro Ball back at Cursola. Cursola uses Mirror Coat again only for Pikachu to use Iron Tail to block it again. Each time Cursola used Mirror Coat, Cursola's Mirror Coat grew weaker. It kept going until Cursola got struck with Electro Ball and it was enough to bring Cursola down.
"No way! Cursola!" The young man exclaimed.
"What a battle," Charmy said.
"You said it, Charmy. He figured out the coral's reflecting counterattack had a weakness and exploited it. The more it bounced back the more juice it got," Vector deduced. The two trainers shook hands as the battle ended.
"Wow, you're even stronger than I thought, Sora. No wonder you're the champion," the young man said.
"Thanks. You did good too," Sora said.
With that said, the trainers went their own ways as Team Chaotix continued to follow them.
Over to Cia, ever since she failed to capture King Dedede in his castle, she has been searching for him relentlessly.
"Where could you be?" Cia asked. She searches the multiverse for the king of Dreamland until she stumbled onto Canterlot City. She spots King Dedede with The Mane Seven, the apes, Dingodile, Time Man, and Oil Man. "Found you at last." She departs to retrieve him and to bring him to her master.
In Canterlot High, King Dedede, the apes, Dingodile, and the two robots were given special permission to be on the school grounds by Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna, filling them both in about them being from alternate universes. Prinipal Celestia understood the situation well.
"Doesn't it feel weird that we're hiding out in a high-school of all places?" Tiny Kong asked.
"If I were human, I would have bad memories about high-school because of the wedgies, the beatings, and having your head in a toilets! Those would not be my best years," Dingodile said.
"That concept would stand, but won't, because you were never human to begin with," Time Man pointed out.
"Let's just say I had to hear about it," Dingodile said.
"Sunset Shimmer and those other girls said they would do what they can to get us back home, didn't they?" Lanky Kong asked.
"They did, Lanky. But you gotta hand it to Fluttershy that she was super nice to use the whole time we've been here. Even Kiddy Kong likes her," Chunky Kong said as Kiddy Kong plays with a ball Fluttershy gave her.
"I kinda like it here because we don't have to worry about some egomaniac trying to conquer the world; at least not now, anyway," Oil Man said.
"I don't know about the rest of you, but I wanna go home to my castle where I can just crawl into my own bed and sleep for days. I mean, the food here is great and all, but it's not the same. Kirby is probably out looking for me right now," King Dedede said.
Everyone understood that he wants to get home, they all did. All they can do is wait until the girls comes up with a solution. Elsewhere in the city, Cia appears with her magic and knew she was indeed in the right place.
"You won't escape me again," Cia said as she begun to make her way to King Dedede.
Back in Kanto right in Fuchsia City, Jessie and James had recently foiled a Safari Zone sting and are waiting for their allies from within to show up. Jessie and James wore disguises since there were bounds of people who would recognize them and their mission to bring ruin to Team Rocket would fail. They met in undisclosed location. Genghis and Kahnnie had arrived.
"You're late," Jessie said.
"We had a hard time sneaking out without anyone knowing, but we managed to get some more dirt," Kahnnie said.
"Anything new?" James asked.
"Yes. The members of Team Rocket is suspecting each other, but they don't know it's really us," Genghis said.
"The higher-ups are doing what they can to get it under control, but the suspicions didn't stop coming," Kahnnie said.
"Also, more," Genghis said.
"What?" James asked.
"Okay. There's a rumor going around HQ that Giovanni has been doing business with some new partners. No idea who they are," Genghis said.
"Giovanni had been doing business with them just before we left to find you. Probably before their little project," Kahnnie said. James looked at his fiancé and she looked back at him. They knew it was getting deeper than they thought.
"Find out what you can about these partners. In the meantime, we'll keep laying low on the outside," Jessie said.
"Can do," Genghis said.
"You're going to know more as soon as we know more," Kahnnie said. They left to look into Giovanni's unknown associates (unknown to them anyway).
"What do you think, James?" Jessie asked.
"I think it just got harder than we thought it was gonna be. We're a soon-to-be married couple up against an entire criminal syndicate with a project that only he and the executives know, and we just learned he's doing business with someone we have no idea about. I don't know how Sora and Kairi does it," James said. Jessie places her hand on his shoulder.
"It'll be worth it. Just remember, we started this together and we're going finish this together. Come hell or high-water," Jessie said. "Once Team Rocket's finished, we can guarantee no one will ever worry about them again, and get married and start our family." James smiled as he embraces her.
"Ah, Jessie. You're right. It will be worth it. As long as we're together, no challenge is too great," James said. Jessie embraced him back and kisses each other on the lips.
Back in Hoenn in an icy region, Sora and Kairi are wearing jackets to combat the icy cold weather. He checked his PokéNav to see their current location.
"So, how far we until we get to the other side?" Kairi asked.
"We're gonna have to make it through this mountain to get there. As long as we stay on the right path, we'll be in Sootopolis City in no time," Sora said. Meowth is shivering like crazy.
"If it's not too much trouble, don't you think we should make a stop somewhere and have a cup of hot chocolate with some marshmallows? Anything to get out of this cold," Meowth said.
"Oh, don't be such a baby, Meowth." - Pikachu subtitle.
"Well excuse me if I don't wanna freeze to death!" Meowth said, shivering.
"It's not a bad idea, Meowth. We could use a break anyway. We just have to find a warm place first," Sora said.
"Snorunt, Sno, Snorunt!" A new voice called out. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, and Meowth heard it had to come from a Pokémon and they were right. They were two small, black Pokémon with an ovoid body. They both have circular, light blue eyes, wide teeth, and spherical hands and feet that lack digits. They are covered with a yellow cloak that gives it a triangular outline. Their coats are rimmed with an orange stripe and has three orange diamond markings on the was running away from the other as the other is just teasing it.
"Pika?" Pikachu asked.
"Those have to be Snorunt," Kairi said. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned the two Pokémon.
Snorunt, the Snow Hat Pokémon
Type: Ice
Snorunt survives by eating only snow and ice. Old folklore claims that a house visited by this Pokémon is sure to prosper for many generations to come.
"Sounds to me Snorunt is a lucky Pokémon to have around," Sora said, putting his Pokédex away. The Snorunt being chased heads for Sora and hid behind his leg. The Snorunt pursuing it walks up to it and taunts it, getting under its skin.
"Runt, runt, Snorunt, Snorunt!" The Snorunt hiding behind Sora said.
"Snorunt, Sno. Snorunt, runt, Sno, Sno," the chasing Snorunt said. Kairi bends down to Meowth.
"What did they say?" Kairi asked.
"Okay, that one Snorunt just said to stop with the teasing, but that other one just said it's fun to tease him since she likes seeing him get worked up," Meowth translated. The male Snorunt fires Powder Snow, but the female easily dodges it and struck Meowth instead. "Brr."
"You okay, Meowth?" Kairi asked.
"Just a little on the frosty side, but I'm cool," Meowth said with a pun. The male tried again, but struck Sora too.
"Hey! Watch where you're aiming!" Sora said, feeling the icy attack hit him. The two Snorunt ran off with the female doing the chasing. Team Chaotix had watched the whole thing as they heard the sound of an engine. The couple heard a sound of an engine as well. Riding on an approaching snowmobile with a side car is a rather tall, muscular, and gruff-looking man with short blonde hair and a full goatee. He has blue eyes. He is wearing a cream-colored cravat, olive-colored shirt, tan pants, leather biker's jacket, and goggles. Riding in the sidecar is a Raichu wearing a pair of goggles like the man.
"Who is that?" Charmy asked.
"I dunno, but he looks intimidating," Vector said.
The man pulls up when he saw the couple and the Pokémon.
"Bonjour! What brings you youngsters in this cold?" The man asked with a French accent.
"Um, we were just passing through to head for the other side of the island," Kairi said.
"But we thought we could use a break before we get there," Sora said.
"Then by all means let me escort you personally to a nearby Pokémon Center. It shouldn't be too far," the man offered. His Raichu stepped out and gave Angel a kiss on the paw, making sparks emitting from his cheeks in jealousy. "Mademoiselle, it would be good for you hold on tight to me." He said it in a gentlemanly manner and kisses her hand.
"Um, thanks," Kairi said. Sora puffs his cheeks in jealousy as Meowth looked over to his male companions and sighed as he shivered.
"Makes me glad that I'm single," Meowth said. Espio turned invisible and went to the snowmobile to hitch a ride. Sora rode in the sidecar with Pikachu, Angel, Meowth and Raichu as Kairi held on as they snowmobile rode on. Vector and Charmy followed the tracks to their destination.
"Allow me to introduce my self. My name is Michel and this is my trusty Raichu Lumiere," the man introduced.
"Raichu," Lumiere responded.
"I'm Kairi. And the boy there is my boyfriend Sora and that is his Pikachu, my Eevee Angel, and this is Meowth," Kairi introduced.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"A pleasure to meet you. It was a good thing Lumiere and I found you and we wouldn't want such a lovely young lady to catch a death of cold," Michel said.
"And I matter so little?" Sora whispered to himself.
"Also, I'm in pursuit of a pair of Snorunt poachers who has recently moved in the area," Michel said. Sora and Kairi knew it was bad to hear two poachers are hanging around in the area.
Elswhere in the mountain, two Pokémon hunters rounded up a whole bunch of Snorunt in the area. One has two Magmar while one has two centipede-like Pokémon. One has a long, flat body. Its thorax and head are mainly red-orange with dark brown sections across its body and yellow rings on its underside. Two fiery whiskers protrude from its face, andhas stubby. The other is much larger. is red, with yellow and orange-ish circles alongside each section and the opposite side, all of the legs and the mandible being a darker shade of red. The head has an orange mark in the shape of an exclamation mark on the top, two bright yellow eyes with triangular red pupils and orange-ish flames, simulating antennae. Its telson at the end is made of flames. These Pokémon are known as Sizzlipede and Centiskorch.
"Good work! We got quite a haul of Snorunt!" One of the hunters said, laughing.
"Yeah. What would make it even more something if we had at least a Glalie or a Froslass, and our customers would have to pay double for their evolved forms!" Another hunter said.
"That'll make us a fortune, if that Michel guy wasn't sticking his nose into our business," the first hunter growled.
"When we get the chance, we'll rub him out too!" The second hunter said. Both hunters were infuriated by the fact he had interfered with them every chance he got ever since they arrived.
Michel brought the couple and the Pokémon to the local Pokémon Center as they filled in how they ran into a couple of Snorunt and Michel knew just the ones.
Michel laughed, "Ah, you met those two. The female Snorunt teases the male every chance she has. It is a sign of affection in my opinion."
"I kinda got that idea," Meowth said.
"So, I have been keeping an eye on those two and keeping them safe," Michel said.
"If those guys show up, we'll be sure to teach them not to poach Pokémon, right Pikachu?" Sora asked his partner.
"Pika," Pikachu said, giving a thumbs up.
"Eevee, Ee, Eevee, vee!" Angel sad with loving support.
"You said it, girlfriend," Meowth said.
They all stepped inside as Sora and Meowth had themselves a hot bath.
"Ah, that's more like it!" Sora and Meowth with bliss. Outside, the two Snorunt kept the chase going as they reached the Pokémon Center. Espio stayed invisible and went inside. Vector and Charmy kept going as they continued to follow the tracks. The Snorunt ran inside as many trainers were getting flustered as the two snow hat Pokémon kept running around. They were unaware of the two centipede Pokémon from went to get their trainer.
Sizzlipede and Centiskorch made it back to their trainer to report.
"So, did you find some Snorunt?" The second hunter asked. Sizzlipede and Centiskorch nodded and led the way.
Back to the Pokémon Center, Sora and Meowth saw the Snorunt from earlier. The male Snorunt fires Powder Snow right at the female, but dodges. The attack struck a Pokémon that resembles a levitating face with ice surrounding most of its dark face. It also has black horns coming out from the top and several holes in the ice, revealing some of its dark face. It also has light blue eyes and with its spherical shape and ice covering its dark face with holes in it. The Pokémon got angered by what the male Snorunt did as he backed away.
"Glalie, calm down!" Glalie's trainer said. The Glalie fires Ice Beam right at the male Snorunt as he avoided it.
"What's the matter with that Pokémon?" Sora asked.
"That Glalie is angry when he just fired Powder Snow at him," Meowth said. Sora took out his Pokédex to scan the Pokémon.
Glalie, the Face Pokémon
An evolved form of Snorunt
Type: Ice
Glalie has a body made of rock, which it hardens with an armor of ice. This Pokémon has the ability to freeze moisture in the atmosphere into any shape it desires.
"Snorunt turns into that?" Sora asked. Glalie fires another Ice Beam right at the male Snorunt. A trainer with a slightly humanoid Pokémon that appears to be wearing something resembling a kimono. It Over the top of its head is a type of mask with two "horns" made of ice. On this mask are several openings, one for its mouth, two for its eyes and one in the center of its forehead, all of which reveal its purple "skin" underneath. Attached to the sides of its head are its arms which increase in width halfway down the arms and ends at the wrists, enforcing the look of a kimono. On the center of its dress is a large, tied ribbon or obi, fitting in with the kimono theme. She looked the Pokémon.
"Froslass, calm that Glalie down with your Psychic," the trainer instructed. Froslass went to Glaile and uses Psychic to calm the face Pokémon down. Sora uses his Pokédex to scan it.

An evolved form of Snorunt
Type: Ice/Ghost
It freezes foes with an icy breath nearly -60 degrees Fahrenheit. What seems to be its body is actually hollow. Legends in snowy regions say that a woman who was lost on an icy mountain was reborn as Froslass. Froslass is the result when a female Snorunt is exposed to a Dawn Stone.
"Two evolved forms of Snorunt in one day," Sora said. He puts his Pokédex away.
"Thanks for calming my Glalie down. He's easy to provoke," Glalie's trainer said.
"Anytime," Froslass's trainer said.
The two trainers said. The two Snorunt earned many glares from the trainers and Pokémon. Michel approached and defended them both along with Lumiere.
"That'll be quite enough! All of you return to your own business!" Michel demanded. All of the trainers and Pokémon did just that as Lumiere turned to the two Snorunt.
"You should know better than to play around in here. This is a place of healing, not a place for horsing around." - Lumiere subtitle.
The male Snorunt huffed as the female Snorunt just grinned.
"Well, I'm not the one who started it." - Male Snorunt subtitle.
"And I'm not the one who lost his temper and fired my own attack at random!" - Female Snorunt subtitle.
"Maybe I wouldn't be firing in random locations if you would hold still, but I wouldn't be firing my Powder Snow if you would quit teasing me like I keep telling you!" - Male Snorunt subtitle.
"I like teasing you." - Female Snorunt subtitle.
"Well, I don't!" - Male Snorunt subtitle.
"That's enough, you two. This whole ordeal would have been avoided it you two would quit acting like a couple of children." - Angel subtitle.
"Yeah, enough is enough," Meowth said.
The two Snorunt did stop what they were doing and joined up with the others. Espio stayed hidden and covered his scent this time, not to draw attention.
Over on the Wumpa Islands, Pit, Shantae, Sky, Bolo, and Rottytops explored the temple to see if they could find any clues about the interdimensional crisis.
"Anything?" Shantae asked.
"Not a thing," Pit said.
"Nothing," Bolo added.
"Nada," Sky added.
"Not even a unliving thing," Rottytops said. Shantae sighs.
"There should be something here. Anything we can use," Shantae said.
Crash, Coco, and Aku, Aku followed them inside the temple and fially caught up with them.
"Who are they?" Coco asked.
"I don't know. This could be what I had sensed earlier," Aku Aku said.
"You think they're friendly?" Coco asked.
"I don't sense any hostility, but it could be a ruse in an attempt to make us lower our guard," Aku Aku said. Crash rushes in to fight off the otherworldly visitors. They all stopped what they were doing and stared at the bandicoot.
"What in the heck is that?" Bolo asked.
"You think it could be a wombat?" Pit asked.
"It's not a wombat. I think it looks more like a opossum," Shantae said.
"You're both off. It's gotta be a dingo," Sky said. Crash starts spinning around and heads for Bolo and strikes him hard, making him hit the all.
"Whatever it is, get it!" Rottytops said. THey all rushed at the bandicoot and he comes at them. Shantae tries to whip him with her hair, but Crash avoids it by skidding on the flow. Pit fires his arrow of light and fires. The arrow of light misses its target and struck the wall. Crash gives the angel a kick in the chest.
"Ouch! Okay, that's it! Who and whatever you are, you're going down!" Pit declared. Pit comes at the bandicoot with a powerful gauntlet. Crash avoids it just by jumping and hops on his head. He slams onto Pit.
"Wrench! Sic him!" Sky ordered. The bird flies to attack the bandicoot and pecks at him. Rottytops takes out one of her legs to whack him as Bolo swings a morning star at him. Crash ducks as the zombie whacks Bolo instead.
"Get out of the way, Bolo!" Rottytops yelled.
"You get away from my friends!" Shantae yelled. "No bad guy is going to hurt my friends!" Shantae ran intended to help her friends. Aku Aku could now see they mean no harm and intervened.
"ENOUGH!" Aku Aku yelled, using his magic to seperate them. He turned to Crash. "They mean no harm, Crash! They are not our enemies!" He turned to the visitors. "We mean you no harm." Pit, Shantae, Sky, Bolo, and Rottytops were all confused to see a mask floating and talking.
"I must must of hit my head pretty hard, because I think I'm seeing a mask floating and talking to us," Bolo said.
"You're just fine, Bolo. And I'm seeing it too," Rottytops said.
"Why did he attack us in the first place?" Shantae asked.
"My brother has an act of acting first and thinking later," Coco said. THey were all freaked out to see another one, but much smarter.
"Kinda like a certain someone we now," Sky said, flustering the hallf-genie.
"Hey! What does that mean?!" Shantae exclaimed.
"Perhaps we shall introduce ourselves. I am Aku Aku. And these are Crash and Coco Bandicoot," Aku Aku introduced.
"Hi," Coco greeted. Crash gave a thumbs up.
"Hi there. I'm Pit. Captain of the guard under the service of Palutena, the goddess of light," Pit introduced.
"And I'm Shantae. A half-genie. And these are my friends, Sky and her pet bird Wrench," Shantae introduced as the bird trainer waved and the bird cawed. "The zombie girl is Rottytops and the guy here is Bolo."
"If I may ask, but why are you here?" Aku Aku asked. Pit started off by telling them about an inter dimensional crisis occurring. Shantae and her friends told them about their involvement since they knew something terrible was gonna happen if they did nothing to stop it. "I see. Then My worst fears have finally been realized."
"What do you mean, Aku Aku?" Coco asked.
"Long ago, when I was human, I had a vision of numerous realms and realities clashing with one another. And judging by their involvement, they are acting to put a stop to what may be coming," Aku Aku said.
"You mean, Uka Uka is at it again?! But how? We sent him back to the past with Dr. Cortex and N. Tropy," Coco said.
"I'm afraid it is not that simple, my dear. This threat could have been done by one whose evil is even greater than Uka Uka. And if it is, then we must act at once!" Aku Aku proclaimed.
"You mean, we'll have to go through different worlds and universes just to stop whoever is doing this?" Coco asked.
"Indeed. With my limited power, I cannot open the rifts and risk placing all of existence to be in even more danger than it already is!" Aku Aku said.
"Any ideas?" Bolo asked.
"We could just try looking into Castle Cortex. The place had been long since abandoned since Dr. Cortex and his guys aren't using it anymore," Coco said.
"What do you hope to find there?" Sky asked.
"There should be some tech we can use to open up some dimensional doorway. Dr. Cortex might have gotten his hands on some equipment that could be used to help us out without even knowing it," Coco said.
"Sounds like we got that working in our favor," Pit said.
"Yes. But we go at once. I don't know how much time we have, but we proceed without dlelay," Aku Aku said. With that said, Pit, Shantae, Crash, Coco, Sky, Bolo, Rottytops, and Aku Aku started to head for Castle Cortex to put together something to get them all into a diffrent dimension, hopefully before it's too late.
Back at the Hoenn region, the two hunters followed Sizzlipede and Centiskorch back to the Pokémon Center and smiled with satisfaction.
"So, that's where those two are hiding," the first hunter said.
"Then, let's get to them without delay," second hunter said.
"Not yet. I have an idea on how we're gonna do this," the first hunter said.
Inside the Pokémon Center, Sora was going over his strategy in his final Gym battle. He had plenty of Grass Type Pokémon to use and he had Vikavolt and Manetric. Maybe coould use what he hadnt used yet, like maybe the Cacnea he caught recently. He exchanged Absol for Cacnea and Exploud for Breloom.
"Okay, let's see what attacks Cacnea can use other than Pin Missle and Needle Arm," Sora said. He saw Cacnea can use Bullet Seed and Feint Attack. "Now those will come in handy." He turned to his girlfriend. "You wanna make any changes in your team, Kairi?" She thought for a moment and replied.
"Sure, Sora," Kairi said as he handed her his Pokédex and exchanged Masqureain and Castform for Roserade and Delcatty. "Done. You want me to help you train for your Gym battle, Sora?"
"That'll be great, Kairi. We could use the practice anyway. I mean, you still need to be ready for the Grand Festival," Sora said. "Maybe those trainers with the Glalie and Froslass would help out. The couple approached the trainers from before and challenged them both into a battle. They both accepted as angreed it to be a tag battle. Michel and Lumiere decided to watch the battle closely. As did Espio. The two Snorunt decided to watch the battle too. They stepped outside to the battlefield as the trainers had chosen Glalie and Froslass aas Sora and Kairi knew which ones they were going with. "Make your move, Cacnea!"
"I choose you, Delcatty!" Kairi called out as her Delcatty made her entrance along with Cacnea.
"A Cacnea and a Delcatty, huh?" Glalie's trainer asked.
"You know your Cacnea is at a huge disadvantage going up against two Ice Types, don't you?" Froslass's trainer asked.
"Yeah, but that's never stopped me before, right, Kairi?" Sora asked.
"No it hasn't. And I know this won't stop me either. Delcatty! Use Thunderbolt on Gallie!" Kairi ordered.
"Cacnea! Fire Pin Missle all around!" Sora ordered. Cacnea fires Pin Missle as Delcatty unleashes Thunderbolt.
"Glalie! Dodge and use Ice Fang!" Glalie's trainer ordered.
"Froslass! Block Pin Missle with Psychic!" Froslass's trainer ordered.
Glalie avoids Thunderbolt as Froslass uses Psychic to block Pin Missle. Froslass sends Pin Missle back to its owner.
"Cacnea! Feint Attack!" Sora ordered. Cacnea uses Feint Attack to avoid his own attack and land a hit onto Froslass.
"Dodge Glalie and use Assist!" Kairi ordered. Delcatty avoids Glalie and unleases Roserade's Petal Blizzard. The flower petals struck Glalie in the face. "Now use Disarming Voice!" Delcatty unleashes her sound attack and struck both Snorunt evolved forms.
"Blizzard!" Glalie and Froslass's trainers ordered. Both Pokémon launched their combined Blizzards attacks with hopes of taking them both out. Delcatty took Cacnea on her back and with the speed of a cheetah and cunning of a leopard, Delcatty avoids the combined Blizzard attacks much to everyone's surprise.
"No way!" Glalie's trainer said with awe.
"Impossible!" Froslass's trainer said.
"Now Delcatty! Use Thunderbolt!" Kairi ordered.
"Cacnea! Bullet Seed!" Sora ordered. Delcatty and Cacnea fired their attacks and struck both Glalie and Froslass. It was enough to take them both down. Michel was impressed by their battling skills.
"Magnifique!" Michel said. "Watching those two reminds me in my younger days. Isn't that right, Lumiere?"
"Rai," Lumiere agreed.
He took out a photo of Matt and TK along with their parents when they were both younger and their parents. Along with them is a Vulpix, an Elekid, and an Electabuzz.
He reminisce his past about meeting Hiroaki for the first time. He remembered the first battle between him and his ex-son-in-law between Lumiere and Electabuzz. It ended up in a draw, but it was a battle he was always going remember.
After a few minutes of healing, the power goes out.
"Hey! What's going on?!" One trainer exclaimed. Espio suspected some foul play was at work. Several yelps came from several of the Pokémon.
"Hey! Excuse you!" Meowth yelled. Something attempted to nab Pikachu and Angel, only to earn a kick from the camouflaged chameleon.
"Lumiere! Thunder Now!" Michel ordered. Lumiere uses Thunder and its revealed to be a Centiskorch.
"What the?!" Sora shouted. The lights came back on and saw Meowth along several Pokémon along with the two Snorunt and several others. "Meowth!"
"Get us out of here!" Meowth yelled.
Just then, the two hunters and their Pokémon stood along with the captive Pokémon. Michel growled in anger.
"I should have known it was you two!" Michel exclaimed.
"We were hoping you would be here, old man!" The second hunter said.
"Because we have a score to settle with you!" The first hunter said.
"Are those the Snorunt poachers you warned us about?" Sora asked.
"Oui. They use their Fire Type Pokémon to round up all the wild Snorunt and then sell them to the highest bidder! Such an act is unforgivable!" Michel hissed. Sora didn't like how that came out and shared his anger. He looked at the centipede-like Pokémon and scanned them both with his Pokédex.
Sizzlipede, the Radiator Pokémon
Type: Fire/Bug
It stores flammable gas in its body and uses it to generate heat. The yellow sections on its belly get particularly hot. It wraps prey up with its heated body, cooking them in its coils. Once they're well-done, it will voraciously nibble them down to the last morsel.

When it heats up, its body temperature reaches about 1,500 degrees Fahrenheit. It lashes its body like a whip and launches itself at enemies. While its burning body is already dangerous on its own, this excessively hostile Pokémon also has large and very sharp fangs.
"Let all those Pokémon go!" Sora demanded.
"And what are ya gonna do if we don't?" The first hunter asked. Sora took out the Pokéball containing Ludicolo since he was the only one who had an edge over Fire Types.
"This! Go for it, Ludicolo!" Sora called out. Sora threw his Pokéball and Ludicolo starts dancing with Lumiere upon entry. Sora face palms. "I know, but can we save the dancing for later?" Ludicolo stops dancing gets into battle position. Kairi took out her Dive Ball and threw it.
"Go for it, Corsola!" Kairi threw her Dive Ball and her Corsola comes out to assist the carefree Pokémon. "Corsola! Bubble Beam!" Corsola fires Bubble Beam right at the Fire Type Pokémon.
"Sizzlipede! Centiskorch! Dodge and use Fire Fang!" The first hunter ordered. the centipede-like Pokémon came at the coral Pokémon with their fangs emitting fire.
"Ludicolo! Water Gun!" Sora ordered. Ludicolo fired Water Gun and blocked them.
"Magmar! Both of you use Fire Punch on that Ludicolo!" The second hunter ordered. Both his Magmar came at the carefree Pokémon with their fists emitting fire, only for Lumiere to intervene.
"Four against two is uneven battle," Michel said, taking out a Pokéball. "Go forth, Nosepass!" He threw it and his Nosepass emerges to battle. "Nosepass! Use your Thunder Wave now!" Nosepass emits sparkling electricity from its nose and paralyzes all of the fiery Pokémon. "Now use Power Gem!" Nosepass fires Power Gem and struck them hard. The Pokémon and the hunters hitting the wall.
"Ludicolo! Use Razor Leaf to cut the net!" Sora ordered. Ludicolo fires Razor Leaf and cuts the net for all the Pokémon to escape. Meowth and the Snorunt ran to Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel.
"We're just glad you're okay," Kairi said.
"If you hadn't saved me, I would have been someone's private property," Meowth said. Sora and Michel approaches the two hunters and the Pokémon with Pikachu and Lumiere ready to give them what's coming.
"Say, Michel, before you run them in, how about we give them quite a charge?" Sora suggested.
"That is a sound idea. Lumiere! Use Thunder!" Michel ordered.
"Pikachu! Use Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered.
Both mouse Pokémon fired their Electric Type attacks and gave them quite a shock. Once that was done, they fell to the ground, smoke coming from their bodies. Officer Jenny and Michel slapped the cuffs on them and their Pokémon were placed in the cage they had their captive Snorunt. All of the Snorunt returned to their homes, all but two.
"Just glad that's over," Meowth said.
"At least you're safe now, Meowth. It was a good thing Michel was right there with us," Sora said. The two Snorunt went up to them. "Hey there. Something you want from us?" The Snorunt looked at each other and nodded.
"Runt, runt, Snorunt, Sno, Sno, Snorunt," the male Snorunt said.
"Snorunt, Snorunt, Sno, Sno, Snorunt, runt, runt," The female snorunt said. The couple looks at Meowth.
"Translation, Meowth," Sora said.
"They're saying that they wanna be your Pokémon, because you battled those poachers to save them and to save all those other Pokémon. They figured they could get stronger when they're with you," Meowth translated. The two Snorunt nodded.
"Snorunt, Sno, Snorunt, runt," The male Snorunt said.
"But that's if you agree to have a battle with them," Meowth translated.
"Okay, we accept," Sora said. The two Snorunt stepped outside to battle. Sora and Kairi follow them outside. The male Snorunt chooses Sora as the female chose Kairi. Sora had sent out Pikachu as Kairi had sent out Angel to battle. The male Snorunt starts up with Headbutt as did the female. "Pikachu! Block with Iron Tail!" Pikachu swings his tail to block the male Snorunt's Headbutt.
"Angel! Quick Attack!" Kairi ordered. Angel avoids the female Snorunt with her speed attack. "Now use your own Headbutt!" Angel darts at the female and dodges Angel's attack. The female Snorunt uses Double Team to create several images of herself. The male Snorunt uses Double Team as well. Both Pikachu and Angel had to focus on which one is the real one. Sora figured he could find the real one just by having Pikachu slamming his tail on the snow. Kairi remembered Swift cannot be avoided. "Angel! Use Swift!"
"Pikachu! Iron Tail right from where you're standing!" Sora ordered. Angel fires Swift as Pikachu slams his tail on the snow. Swift strikes the female Snorunt as the force of Pikachu's Iron Tail makes the copies all vanish. "Now use Thunderbolt!"
"Headbutt!" Kairi ordered.
Pikachu and Angel used their attacks to finish off the two Snorunt and make them fall onto the ground. Sora and Kairi each took out a Pokéball and threw it at their chosen Snorunt. The Pokéballs struck them both and they flow inside. The Pokéballs wobbles around for a bit as stars swirls around the Pokéballs confirming the catch. Sora's Pokédex starts buzzing. Sora decided to send his newly caught Snorunt over to Professor Oak's as Kairi did the same. The couple had caught their own Snorunt.
"Nice catch, Kairi," Sora said.
"Thanks. Right back at you," Kairi complimented. Pikachu and Angel nuzzle each other as they share the enthusiasm of their trainers.
Back in Canterlot City, a dimensional rift opens and Cia steps out of it. The rift closes behind her as she makes her way to retrieve her target.
"You will not escape me again," Cia said. Her staff starts glowing as it leads her to the king of Dreamland.
Over to the Mane Seven and their inter dimensional friends, they spent some time at the mall, though they were getting some odd looks from the people passing by. Sunset Shimmer wrote something in her journal, making King Dedede notice.
"What are you writing in your journal?" King Dedede asked.
"Just a little something to Princess Twilight in Equestria. If anyone would have any idea, I'm sure she would," Sunset Shimmer said.
"Yeah, about that. There are two Twilights here, one being a princess and one hanging with you lot. Why haven't you gone back to that pony land of yours?" Dingodile asked.
"I don't exactly have a good history with its ruler, especially after I attempted to take over with an army of high-school students after I turned into a demon," Sunset Shimmer replied.
"Ookay then," Dingodile said.
"I hope you're right about this since this is the only clue we have so far," Time Man said.
"Hey, just as long nothing bad happens, then we'll be sitting pretty than a pearl brung out of an oyster," Oil Man said.
"When y'all say nothing bad, ya mean really bad, right?" Applejack asked.
"Something like that, I supposed," Time Man said.
"Apart from those dimensional doors opening up from out of nowhere," Chunky Kong said. Just then, an orb of dark magic comes at the group, making them jump. The drink Lanky Kong was having spills on Rarity's dress.
"Oh no! My dress is ruined!" Rarity shrieked.
"And I lost my double banana smoothie!" Lanky Kong added.
"Where did that come from?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"From me!" A new voice called out, making them turn. It happens to belong to Cia as she laughs wickedly. "Thought you were safe and sound, did you? I'm afraid you thought wrong."
"Who are you?" King Dedede asked.
"I am Cia. And I was the one who sent the Moblins to attack your castle," Cia admitted.
"This chick?" Oil Man asked.
"She's gonna pay for what ruining my dress!" Rarity said.
"And for ruining our fun time! Bring it on, Miss Magic Meany Pants!" Pinkie Pie taunted.
"Be careful what you wish for," Cia said, zapping some magic at them. Everyone scatters as Dingodile readies his leaf blower.
"If you're the one who blew up my diner, then you're gonna be doing dishes for the next ten years after I get it back up!" Dingodile declared. He fires some air, only for the sorceress to whack her staff at the dingo-crocodile hybrid. The apes and the robots even rushes in. King Dedede tries to bash her with his hammer, only to be reflected.
"Time Slow!" Time Man shouted with an attempt to make time slow.
"Oil Slider!" Oil Man shouted as he got on the oil puddle, turning it into a board and slides on it. The apes even get into the ction only to be zapped by Cia's magic. The Mane Seven even use their own magic. They all develope pony ears and tails. Twilight, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash develops wings as well.
"Your dark magic cannot withstand the magic of Friendship!" Twilight proclaimed. Combining their efforts, they create a rainbow beam and strikes the sorceress. They thought they might have shown her the error of her ways, but they coudln't be even more wrong, since Cia began laughing.
"Okay, what's so funny?" Pinkie Pie asked.
"What's so funny is..." Cia paused before she looked at her opponents with an evil glare under her mask, "... the thought of you defeating me with something as insignificant as friendship!" Cia unleashes her magic and sends them back. Having to win the fight, Cia approaches the king of Dreamland and took him by the robe.
"Let me go!" King Dedede demanded.
"You are coming with me," Cia stated. She opens a dimensional rift and enters it with King Dedede in hand.
"Sunset! Twilight! Everyone! Help!" King Dedede shouted.
"No!" Sunset Shimmer shouted as she attempted to save him, but the rift closes before she could get close enough.
"Where'd they go?" Dingodile asked.
Cia brought King Dedede before Ganondorf and the other villains.
"I have brought him as you requested, my lord," Cia announced proudly. Ganondorf walks up to King Dedede and Cia with a grin.
"You have done well, Cia. You have truly redeemed yourself," Ganondorf said.
"Why am I here?! Who are you?!" King Dedede exclaimed.
"We are all friends here, King Dedede, and we have chosen you to be apart of our little gathering," Ganondorf answered. Bowser, King K. Rool, Dr. Eggman, Dr. Wily, Sigma, Risky Boots, Gnasty Gnorc, Ripto, and the Sorcress steps out of the shadows.
"I won't do it! You can't make me do it!" King Dedede protested.
"I think you will. Once I am done with you," Ganondorf said, waving his hand. King Dedede's eyes began to turn purple as he was now under his control.
"On second thought, I'm in," King Dedede said.
"You have made a wise choice. Welcome to our brotherhood, King Dedede," Ganondorf said.
Back in Canterlot City, everyone was distraught over loing King Dedede.
"What do we do now?" Fluttershy asked.
"We should try to find a way to save King Dedede and bring him back to his home," Sunset Shimmer said.
"How? There are loads of worlds out there. And there's no telling where we would end up," Applejack said.
"She's right. We'll be looking for one little needle in on big haystack," Chunky Kong said as Kiddy Kong nodded in agreement.
"We can't just sit around and do nothing about it," Sunset Shimmer stated.
Everyone agreed with her and made it their mission to find King Dedede and bring him back to his home, no matter how long it took.
Back in Hoenn, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, and Meowth had departed and continued on their way to Sootopolis City as his final Gym battle was getting closer than ever. Before they could go further, they stumbled on an ancient city made of ice.
"Is this what it looks like?" Sora asked.
"If you're talking about a city of igloos, then you would be right on the market. Frosty the Snowman would definitely make a home here," Meowth said. Kairi turned to her boyfriend.
"What do you think, Sora?" Kairi asked.
"We should check it out and see what we can learn here," Sora said. Kairi knew he was going to say it and they went in.
What could they find in this ancient city of ice? Could it be the third Regi Pokémon of Hoenn? The answer will come in the very next chapter.
