Atri P.O.V
It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
Katsuki was pissed that he hadn't passed because Kirishima and Kaminari had- not to mention I did too. They weren't that surprised that 'Suki didn't make it as he had been too busy yelling at the 'victims'.
Katsuki and Todoroki were the two who hadn't passed, Todoroki because he was focused on a kid from Shirketsu who was insulting him. Not to mention the fire wall that the Shirketsu kids quirk (wind) and Todorokis quirk made burned half of the arena.
Katsuki now has to wake up early on Tuesdays and Thursdays to go to a training class alongside Todoroki. For the first few days he didn't talk to me lost in his own head as he beat himself up for not receiving his license the first time around. I could see it in his eyes that he was disappointed. He was more closed off and colder towards me and everyone else.
While he had been attending the training classes I had been talking to Mirio of year three class A he told me that when I started work studies in a week that he'd love to work alongside me with Nighteye.
I of course accepted because most students weren't doing so good.
I sit in the back of the class. Katsuki and Todoroki are at their classes so of course they're not here. goes into his lazy drawl about how we received offers from agencies who were willing to take us in for work studies.
I had received the most with twenty agencies asking for me to come to their hero study program. Sir Nighteye had requested me by name so I picked his agency essentially.
"Now since you will be working with your provisional license this means you will be facing harder and more complicated tasks," says leaning on his elbow looking like he could pass anytime now.
"You'll be pulled out of class randomly with the permission of the pro hero you will be working with," He continues. "Those who haven't received offers don't worry you will eventually."
"But those of you who have received and picked your agency stand up and turn in your papers before heading to your chosen agency," He says, holding out a hand as Uraraka, Tsu, Kirishima, Midoriya and I stand up. Tokoyami had already been away with his work study at Hawks agency.
We all turn in our papers ignoring the jealous expressions on our classmates' faces.
"Where are you interning at Kirishima," I ask the red head as we head down the steps of U.A.
"FatGums agency with Tamaki Amajiki, where are you going?" He asks me in return.
"I'm interning with Mirio at Sir Nighteyes agency," I say.
"What about you Midoriya?" He asks Izuku as he walks beside us.
"Oh the same as Atri," He says. "Or at least I hope...I still have to get him to approve my form. Have you already been approved, Atri?"
"Yeah he requested me by name funnily enough," I laugh.
"Really? Have you ever met him?"
"No, if you want some tips about Sir Nighteye you might want to ask Mirio, He's really nice," I suggest to Midoriya whose face brightens, thanking me repeatedly he runs off to find Mirio.
"What about you two?" I look at Uraraka and Tsu.
"Dragon ladys agency," They say in usion.
"Oh cool she's amazing," I say giggling.
"She even requested us by name!"
"Doesn't Nejire intern there?" I ask.
"Yeah I think she recommended us to Dragon Lady," Tsu says with a small ribbit coming after her sentence.
"So we are all working with the big three," Kirishima says.
"Well all of us except Tokoyami," Uraraka says.
"Yeah that's true but he's working with Hawks," I say as we walk down the street for the agencies.
Once we get to the subway we part ways leaving me alone on the train as it heads away from the station towards Sir Nighteyes agency.
Katsuki texts me asking me where I was.
I'm on my way to Sir Nighteyes agency…
It takes a few minutes for him to reply to the bubbles beside his name appearing then disappearing as he decides what to ask next.
Why are you going there?
His question breaks my heart because he already knows the answer to his question. He's just hoping I will have a different answer for him.
I was requested to work at his agency as an intern for my work studies.
I type before turning off my phone standing up walking out of the train making sure that I have my hero costume with me as well as my forms needed.
I walk up the street anticipating another message from Katsuki instead my phone rings. I see that Katsuki is calling me.
"Hey-" I say.
"Hey…" He says, sounding rather sullen.
"How was your day?" I ask him.
"Fucking terrible… they made us wear stupid fucking disco suits and dance under something I think was Sparkles," He growls.
"You're talking about Aoyama right?" I ask laughing.
"I don't know that extras name! But...yeah," He says, sounding like a smile was starting to form on his face.
"What are you doing right now?" I ask him.
"I'm up on the roof, passing the greens or whatever Raccoon eyes calls it," He sighs.
"HEY THAT WAS CLEVER AND YOU KNOW IT!" I hear Mina shout in the background.
I giggle.
"Who's all there with you?" I ask him.
"We got Dunce Face, Raccoon eyes and Tape Arms, Shitty hairs somewhere but I don't know where," He says.
"He's at Fatgums agency getting him to sign his form," I say.
"Oh are you at Sir Nighteyes agency yet?" He asked me.
"No, I'm heading down the street. I see it in the distance though," I say, seeing the agency on the horizon.
"Oh…"
"Hey I love you!" I say to him reassuring him as I cross the street looking both ways until I meet the steps of the agency. The gray building looked particularly scary and intimidating with it looming over me.
"I love you too," He says quietly, clearly covering the speaker piece as he says this to keep the others from hearing him say it.
"AWWW!" I hear Denki say. Clearly he heard anyway. I hold the speaker away from my ear as Katsuki screams at Denki for making fun of him.
"DON'T THROW HIM OFF THE BUILDING BAKUGOU!" I hear Sero scream. I hear Denkis screams mingled with Bakugous and the rest of the Bakusquad. I laugh to myself hanging up the phone texting him a note.
Don't kill anyone please! I love you Suki!
I turn off my phone but not before silencing it. I walk into the building pulling open the glass door to the agency. The receptionist sitting at an oak desk her face a wide grin as she sees me. She has blue skin and a hero costume on.
Maybe she isn't a receptionist…
"I'm Kaoruko!" She says holding out her gloved hand. I shake her hand smiling at her.
"You must be Atri Lee," She says looking down at a clipboard in her hand.
"Yes I am," I nod gratefully. "I have the forms for Sir Nighteye. They're all pre-approved."
I hand her the stack of papers and permission slips. She grins, placing the sheets of paper in a folder before filing them into the filing cabinet underneath her desk.
"Atri!" I hear Mirios voice call from his perch in the next hallway that Kaoruko leads me down.
"Hey Togata!" I say hugging him. He grins at me.
"I'm glad that you chose this agency," He says.
"Me too," I sigh, sitting next to him on the bench.
"Sir Nighteye is currently busy so you can wait here for right now," The blue skinned sidekick says, turning away walking back to her desk in the hallway beside us.
"What's he busy doing I wonder…" I say.
"Midoriya is in there," Togata says to me.
"Oh really?" I ask him curiously.
"Yeah he got here about two minutes before you got here," He shrugs.
"Oh I must not have noticed him, I was on the phone," I sigh.
"Who were you on the phone with?" He asked me.
"My boyfriend," I say. "I'm dating Bakugou Katsuki."
"Oh really? The guy who won the sports festival and also the guy who was captured by the sludge villain and then the league of Villains?" He asked me.
"Y-yeah...He won the sports festival," I say nodding to the other things as well.
"Isn't he really mean? I wouldn't have thought he'd get a girlfriend," Mirio laughs.
"Well-he really isn't that mean at least not with me…" I shrug.
"Oh sorry that was rude of me I typically just say the first thing that comes to mind!" He chuckles.
For some reason his enthusiasm was getting on my nerves, his smile making me want to smack it right off. But, I don't of course because he's my friend. We wait in the hall until a shaken looking Midoriya comes walking out of Nighteyes office.
"H-he's ready for you Atri," He says, walking away, hair mussed up.
I walk into Sir Nighteyes torn office. The papers and books were thrown everywhere; the only thing that was intact were the All Might posters on his walls.
"Looks like a tornado tore through your office Sir Nighteye," I laugh. He smiles looking positively tired as he sits on the other side of his desk.
"That is kind of what happened," He chuckles.
"Alright so there's some things that I need to make sure of," He says. "Your hero name-what is it?"
"Saikuron," I say.
"Ah ha- Cyclone. I see,"he says, nodding. "I like that it's unique."
I grin feeling glad that he likes something that I chose myself. I had experience with American Pro-heroes but it was different with Japanese Pro-heroes because they were a totally different set of Personalities.
"Well...you'll be working alongside Midoriya or Deku and Togata or LeMillion," He sighs standing up. He grabs a stamp from his desk slamming it onto the paper in my lap.
"Alright you may leave," He says, sighing and turning away.
"That's it?"
"Well I have your number so I will call you when you are needed here," He says simply.
Instead of arguing I decided to let it go and leave his room. I left waving at Mirio.
Stopping at the supermarket I picked up the ingredients for Spicy Chicken Curry and text the whole class 2-A aside from Bakugou to leave the kitchen by the time I get home because I'd pay for their dinners tomorrow if they did.
I wanted to cook Bakugou, his favorite meal, with some alone time for the two of us so that I can take care of him. I hope that some Spicy Chicken Curry will make him feel better for not getting his provisional heroes license the first time around.
I entered the kitchen seeing no one was around. I pull out pans and pots throwing rice in the pot allowing that to start. Then pulling up a recipe from my phone I start on the curry adding extra chile peppers.
Once the chicken started cooking I walked to the dining table and set out two plates in our usual spots. I grabbed some Orange sparkling soda for him and I. I turned down the lights and lit a couple candles that made the environment calming and serene which is exactly what I wanted.
Hurrying back to the finished chicken I plate two plates of the curry starting with the rice then chicken and finally topping it with the curry. Pulling the Naan bread out of the oven I pull it apart and set it on the sides of the plate.
I text Katsuki to meet me in the dining room. After the bubble saying hes seen the text I put the plates on the table pouring us some soda.
Not long after he saw the text the elevator arrived on the first floor an annoyed looking Bakugou stepping out. I had changed into a red dress pulling my hair away from my face.
He looks from me to the food his face falling.
"I...I uh-made curry...and I got orange soda, I also told everyone to get off of the first floor otherwise I'd hurt them…" I say. "Also I promised to buy them food tomorrow…but I thought you needed a break."
Bakugou doesn't say anything, instead walking over to me wrapping me in his arms. I first thought that he was laughing until I felt teardrops on my shoulders. I pulled away looking at my boyfriend who was crying silently trying to hide his face from me.
"Hey...hey it's okay," I say, wiping his tears.
"I-I don't deserve you…"
"I don't think that… you do deserve me I mean I can be too much at times I know but you do deserve me," I say laughing a little. "Don't you want curry?"
"Yeah…" he says, almost childlike.
"Okay c'mon…" I led him to the table sitting him on the other side of me.
"You're perfect, you know that?" He asked me.
"I love you Suki," I say smiling.
"I love you too…" he says. "More than anything."
