Over the period of the next few weeks I hadn't been called to Sir Nighteyes agency until today. Apparently Midoriya and Togata had been working together at the agency, not letting me know.
I walked out of the 2-A dorms with Katsuki who had a class today. I let him go with Todoroki kissing him on his cheek before turning the other direction seeing Kirishima, Uraraka, Tsu and Midoriya walking already towards the direction of their agency.
I was upset at Midoriya for not telling me about the secret patrols he went on with Togata that I had no clue about. They didn't even invite me for some reason-but to be fair I got more time alone with Bakugou.
We walk to the subway together casually exchanging comments about costume changes. I had Hatsume add a hood onto my suit along with a mask just in case something went wrong and someone or something had a gas leak.
I board the subway waving to Kirishima, Uraraka and Tsu but apparently I didn't need to wave goodbye to them because they were coming the same direction as Midoriya and I.
"Why are you guys going this way?" I ask.
"Fatgum said to go this way," Kirishima says.
"So did Dragon Lady," Uraraka confirms as we take our seats on the subway.
I nod trying to think of a solution of why we might be heading to the same place. Or an area of the city at least. Nighteye didn't give me a thorough explanation of what we were going to do.
We all came to the same conclusion-we were going to be working together somehow. For some reason Midoriya seems quieter than normal; he was also paler than he usually is. He only nodded when we presented our idea to him.
We all walk together in silence. The weird feeling of walking to Nighteyes agency together causes us to be silent. When we stop outside the agency the U.A. Big three were waiting outside for us. They nod to us with a small smile on each of their faces aside from Tamaki Amajki who doesn't meet our eyes.
We were directed into the conference room that was filled with dozens of famous and not so famous local heroes. I recognize a few of them- Fatgum, Dragon Lady, Sir Nighteye, - wait ?
He looks tiredly to us and then back to the other heroes who were moving aside making room for more chairs to be brought in. I take a seat next to Kirishima a.k.a Red Riot.
Uraraka and Tsu sit on the other side of me next to Dragon Lady. Midoriya and Mirio sit on the other side of the table gazing thoughtfully at the table, an almost ashamed look on their faces.
"You may be wondering why I have brought High School students here as well as the rest of you…" Sir Nighteye says.
Everyone nods around us gazes shifting from one another as Sir Nighteye continues.
"What I need your help with is-The Yakuza Gang."
With that one name my heart felt like it stopped beating for a lifetime. I stared at Nighteye as he continued to explain our mission. Pictures of the members appearing on the screen behind Sir Nighteye.
I don't recognize any of them...at least not until a picture of a man wearing a mask with tousled brown hair and a purple overcoat appeared...Overhaul.
He was the one who almost killed me six months ago.
The information drifts in one ear and out the other as I had already learned all of this information from heroes in America when I worked on the case. The only new information was about a little girl who is being held with the Yakuza gang that Midoriya and Mirio had found out about.
The girl was still with the gang and we were going to save her from the Yakuza gang. No matter what she would be saved. I nodded alongside the others, understanding our goal.
We were told to be on standby for whatever our Hero costumes had to be in reach of us just in case we needed them. They had to stake out the Yakuza House before we were sent into the field of danger.
I wasn't sure how this would happen but then again I wasn't really sure of anything aside from that little girl-she needed to get out.
