Episode 271: Tusks and Horns!
I am going to respsond to a series of reviews I recived about the Donphan mating. First of all, I will state that Kairi is not gonna get herself a Donphan, but it'll be a war between the Rhyhorn and Donphan. It'll be like in Babar when the rhinos were at war with the elephants. And here we go!"
A couple of days had passed since Team Choatix had joined up with Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, and Meowth. They made a stop to an island for Kairi to make some dinner for them all.
"Soup's on, everyone!" Kairi announced, handing them all a bowl.
"Looks yummy for my tummy!" Charmy said, taking a spoonful.
"I'll say," Vector said, sipping his bowl. Espio even took in a spoonful, but he was used to eating with chopsticks. "This is great! Better than any resturants I have ever been to."
"Thank you. There are seconds if you like more," Kairi offered.
"That'll be great," Sora said, not wasting any time. That made Kairi giggle.
"Oh, Sora," Kairi said.
"I can't help it, Kairi. Anything you make always taste great," Sora said lovingly. Epsio could only smile as he kept eating, savoring every inch of the taste.
"They're not gonna kiss are they?" Charmy asked.
"I was wonderin the same about those two," Vector said, pointing to Pikachu and Angel who are eating from the same bowl. Angel made some kissy expressions to Pikachu and he did the same back to the female Eevee.
"Leave them be, Charmy," Espio said. Charmy turned to Meowth.
"Is is always it that between those two?" Charmy asked.
"For a long while," Meowth deadpanned.
They ate their meal with such delight. Once the meal had concluded, Sora, had sent Slaking back to Professor Oak in exchange for Shelgon. Sora had let Shelgon out to join in on the training.
"Okay Shelgon! Fire Fang!" Sora ordered. Shelgon had let out teeth made entirely out of fire and lands a burning bite. Team Chaotix watched the training in progress as Shelgon has mastered his attacks. "Okay Metang! Meteor Mash! And Shelgon, you use Protect!" Metang came at Shelgon with Meteor Mash and Shelgon forms a protective barrier around himself, making the attack bounce off. "Way to go!" Shelgon and Metang beamed having to be praised. After an hour of training, they all had themselves a goodnight sleep.
Over in the Mushroom Kingdom, Spyro and Elora were introduced to Princess Peach and filled her in about the attack from the Goombas and Shy Guys attacking Mario. Princess Peach is a young woman with long blonde hair, along with blue eyes, tall frame, an hourglass figure, and a rosy complexion. She is wearing a pink dress with a ruffled hemline, short puffy sleeves, a frilled collar, and a pannier-style overskirt. She also wore red high heels, opera-length white evening gloves, a sapphire brooch, sapphire earrings, and a gold crown adorned with sapphires and rubies. They sat the dinner table as Spyro had shared his stories about his adventures, starting up with Gnasty Gnorc, with how he met Elora and defeated Ripto, and about his mission of the stolen dragon eggs.
"That's quite a story, Spyro. Just glad everything worked out in the end," Peach said.
"Yeah, well, after that things kinda got pretty quiet, until this whole thing started," Spyro said.
"You mean the inter dimensional crisis that you mentioned?" The princess asked.
"Yep," Spyro answered as Sparx buzzed in agreement.
"And that's when we ran into Mario when he was on his way to see you," Elora said. "Any idea why those guys would just attack him?"
"I think Bowser is up to no good again. And that last time has clearly taught him nothing," Peach stated.
"Mario kinda mentioned him before," Spyro pointed out.
"Just who is Bowser, to begin with?" Elora asked.
"Bowser is the evil king of turtle-like creatures known as Koopas. For years, he had attempted to take over the Mushroom Kingdom and make me his queen, and time and time again, Mario has foiled his plans. Unfortunately, he never ever learns his lessons," Peach explained.
"And I thought Gnasty Gnorc was stubborn," Spyro said.
"But enough about that. How about we enjoy our meal," Peach suggested. The dragon, fawn, and dragonfly all agreed and ate the food presented to them.
Meanwhile in a castle surrounded by boiling hot lava, a smaller version of Bowser, but has a red ponytail, small black beady eyes, a more rounded snout, and a single sharp tooth. He wore a white bandana with a mouth and sharp teeth drawn on it. His arm collars lacked the spikes. He was told about a small purple dragon by the Koopa Troopas and Koopa Paratroopas spying on the plumber. And he was angry.
"Stupid Goombas! And those Shy Guys too! I send them on one simple task and they failed! Pop's gonna blow a gasket when he hears about this!" The mini Bowser exclaimed.
Just then, seven Koopas came walking in the room seeing how their master's son is taking this latest development. They all have spikes on their shells.
One has yellow skin, a green head with a blue star on the side, a light blue shell with regular blue rings, and light blue hair styled in a cockscomb. One being lanky build that has the same yellow skin, but is wearing a pair of glasses and has light green hair. He also has has a light green shell with purple rings. One Koopa is the smallest who has an orange shell and has orange bars on his head and a mohawk that is died that goes from yellow, magenta, cyan, yellow, magenta, to cyan, and ends in a long yellow rat tail that fades to a more orange hue at the tip. He has large, oval eyes that are going in different directions. One has the same green head, but has his hair in a hairstyle going up. He has a blue shell with orange rings. He has a single fang coming from his upper jaw. One the largest of the bunch, he has a white head with a dark gray star on his left eye and part of his snout and cheek. Unlike the others, he the only one who has dark brown skin but he has a black shell with white bands. He has four, fang-like teeth in the upper corners of both sides of his large mouth. One has a pink head and a purple shell with pink rings. He wears a pair of hot pink sunglasses. And seventh Koopa is the only female of the bunch as he has a pink bow on her yellow round head. She has huge puffy lips and feminine legs and is wearing pink heels. She has round cheeks and appears to be baby-faced. Unlike the males, she wore gold rings instead of the spiked collars and is wearing a red pearl necklace. She has a pink shell with gray rings.
"Koopalings reporting for duty, Bowser Jr.!" The Koopalings all saluted.
The blue-haired one spoke," Larry Koopa."
The one with the sunglasses, "Roy Koopa.
The female Koopaling spoke, "Wendy O. Koopa."
The one with the glasses spoke, "Iggy Koopa."
The large one spoke, "Morton Koopa Jr."
The small one spoke, "Lemmy Koopa."
The one with the large hair spoke, "And me, Ludwig von Koopa."
"I was wondering when you seven were gonna show up," Bowser Jr. spoke.
"Well, we would have gotten here sooner if Wendy didn't hold us up just to check her makeup," Larry groaned.
"Just wanted to make myself more presentable for our handsome leader, and his son," Wendy said.
"i don't think they'd care if you wear enough makeup to look like a clown," Roy said.
"Circus or rodeo?" Iggy cackled. Wendy glared at Iggy.
"What's that supposed to mean?!" Wendy exclaimed.
"SHUDDAP!" Bowser Jr. shouted. And none of them said nothing. "Now that I got your attention. Just got a report about a failed attack on Mario."
"Morton no like Mario," Morton said.
"None of us like Mario, Morton," Roy said.
"That's nothing unusual. We all took on Mario and we all failed," Ludwig pointed out.
"Yeah, but there's something else. i just got word from our forces that he had some help. And they said it was a small purple dragon," Nowser Jr. said.
"Small purple dragon?" Roy asked. "Purple is a sissy color!"
"That was my comment on pink!" Iggy said, cackling.
"Real mean wears pink!" Roy shouted.
"Who cares what colors real men wears?!" Bowser Jr. yelled. "There were some who said that they came out of a dimesional rift. The kind that my pop used to meet with the other baddies."
"You don't mean someone or something is getting in our way?" Larry asked.
"I don't know, but we can't take any chances here. So, I need you to head down to Princess Peach's castle and bring her here, but get Mario and that dragon out of the way while you're at it," Bowser Jr. ordered.
"We're on it!" THe koopalings all said.
"Then, get your shells down there and do it!" Bowser Jr. commanded. The Koopalings all took out their wands and headed out to kidnap the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom.
Over to another kingdom in the same world, a man that resembles Mario, but is taller and thinnner. He wore a green shirt and green hat with the letter L and blue overalss. He also has a smooth mustache. He is carrying a bouquet of daisies. He arrived at the castle and knocked on the door. Opening the door is a young woman dressed up as Princess Peach, but she wore a yellow dress and she is wearing a yellow, floor-length gown with white and orange accents. The details of the dress include puffed sleeves with white, petal-shaped openings, a white, petal-shaped collar, orange panniers at her waist, and orange frills at the opening of her dress. Her accessories include short, white gloves with petal-shaped openings, orange heels, a gold crown with red jewels on the sides, flower-shaped earrings, and a flower-shaped brooch; her jewelry is coordinated with green gems and white, petal-shaped rims.
"Luigi! So glad you came down here!" The princess cheered.
"Just-a happy to see you, Daisy," Luigi said. He presented her the daisies. "Daisies for my Daisy." Daisy accepted the boquet.
"Thank you, Luigi. That is very sweet of you," Daisy said, kissing the green-clad plumber on the cheek.
The plumber and princess took off for their date.
Over on an island, a bunch of multicolored dinosaurs are all eating fruit and cookies. They all weore shoes and all had saddles on their backs. They all had the same big nose.
Among them is blue dinosaur wearing sunglasses, a spiked red collar, and shoes which allow his three toes to poke out. He also has a red crest protruding from the back of his head.
"Can any of you poor excuse for Yoshis care to race me?" The blue dinosaur challenged. "Come on! Come on!"
"Can't you give us a break, Boshi?" A another blue Yoshi asked.
"All you do is challenge us into a race and make us give you our food when we lose!' A red Yoshi said.
"Can't we just have fun with the races?" A black Yoshi asked.
"It's fun when I win!" Boshi snarled. "Any of you cowardly lizards wann have a go?"
"Not for all the fruit on the island," the red Yoshi said, as he and the others walked off. Meanwhile, a green Yoshi. He wore red shoes and a red saddle. He sniffed the air and knew something was up.
"What's that?" The green Yoshi asked. "Something doesn't smell right." The green Yoshi went to see what it is.
In Mega City, Pit, Shantae, Crash, Coco, Sky, Bolo, Rottytops, and Aku Aku explained to Dr. Light, and his robots about the situation going on. Roll had taken a shine to Wrench, feeding the bird some birdseed.
"You like that, little birdie?" Roll asked. The bird cawed.
"That was quite a situation we are all in," Dr. Light said.
"If things keep us like this, then we can have ourselves a catastrophic disaster on all of our hands," Pit said.
"By the way you put it, it makes Dr. Wily look like a nice guy," Mega Man said.
"Pretty much the same for any other villains we put up with," Coco said, then setting her attention on Pit. "Most of us, anyway."
"Why is this happening?" Mega Man asked.
"We do not know. But if what Palutena suspects is true, then we must join forces and put an end to this before it gets worse," Aku Aku said. Mega Man turned to his father.
"Dad, any ideas?" Mega Man asked. Dr. Light stroked his chin.
"I wish there was a simple explantion for all this. But we will have to acquire some help. I'll try to make contact with Duo while you search for Proto Man. I am certain he might have caught wind of this," Dr. Light suggested.
"I'm on it," Mega Man said, turning to his dog. He is a red mechanical dog wearing the same kind of helmet as him. "Time to go, Rush!" Rush barks in agreement.
"We should come to. We can have better luck when we're all together," Shantae suggested.
"Sorry, but Rush can't carry more than on his back at a time. And I don't want to risk anyone," Mega Man said. The blue robot puts his helmet on as he and his canine companion raced outside. Rush transforms into a jet form as Mega Man jumped on and flew off to find Proto Man.
Elsewhere, a robot similar to Mega Man, but is wearing black armor is standing on top of a tower. He has purple scars on both sides of his cheeks and is wearing a helmet that looks like fins, spreading. He has a blue jewel on his helmet shaped like a star and a blue jewel shaped like a blue upside-down triangle. He had yellow trims around his wrists and ankles. With him is a purple wolf-like robot with an exhuast at the tail.
"Mega Man, I am more superior to you in every way, excpet I always lose to you every time we face each other. This time shall be different. I will destroy you, Mega Man! There is no other robot, than I, Bass, who is more superior to you!" Bass stated. He turned to his robot wolf. "Let's go, Treble!" Treble barks as they both set off to find his hated rival.
In the same world, but in a diffrent timeline, three robots came walking in a large building in futuristic city. One resembles Mega Man, but is taller, and has light blue streaks on his helmet. With him is a red robot with long blonde hair. On his white shoulder pads, he has a Z engraved on it. He has a laser saber on his back. The third one appears to be a teenager with green eyes, an X-shaped scar on his face and spiky auburn hair that sprouts outward rather than flow down. His shoulder guards are pointed and his legs feature small booster-like compartments. Jutting from his upper back are two long, white retractable "wings." His helmet design, when viewed from topside, resembles an upside down 'A' with a circular camera-like lens in the center.
Just then, a female robot came up to the three of them. She is wearing a coral and white armor. SHe has blonde hair and blue eyes.
"X, Zero, Axl! Good timing," the female robot said.
"What is it, Alia?" X asked.
"Commander Signas is calling in a secret meeting. He called in the General and Colonel of the Repliforce to partake in it," Alia explained.
"I can bet my rare metals that it has Sigma's stink all over it," Axl said.
"Well, there are some members of the Repliforce that has gone Maverick, and they're not taking it lightly," Zero said.
"Iris, Layer, and Pallette already have been informed. Signas wanted me to inform you as soon as you come in," Alia said.
"You couldn't just contact us with our coms?" Axl asked.
"Can't take any chances with hackers. Especially that the Mavericks had been too quiet lately," X said.
"My guess exactly," Zero said, turning to Alia. "Let Signas know that we're here."
"Right," Alia said. He took one last look at X and smiled and he smiled back at her. Zero and Axl could tell there were sparks going between them. X had denied it time and time again, telling them that they're only colleagues. Zero and Axl weren't buying it.
Back in Avalar, the Professor had made the final modifications on the portal he used to test with Spyro and Elora.
"There, that should do it. All I need to do is set the coordinates. Ooh, I just wish I could remember which ones," the Proffessor said.
"They could be anywhere out there. Can't you just try typing some random numbers?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"That is too great a risk. For all I know, they could be anywhere," the Professor said.
"We're gonna have to risk it. The more we sit on our tails, the mroe time we have to lose," Bently said.
"You know something, I think Forsty the Snowman is right. Sure, we could end up somewhere else, but we're never gonna know unless we try," Oil Man said.
"Still, I don't know," the Professor said.
"We really don't have a choice and we can't afford to wait around and hope for a miracle," Sunset Shimmer said.
"So, let's do this thing," Dingodile said.
"Okay, here goes," the Professor said, typing in the coordinates. He activates the portal. So, one-by-one, they all went in the order of: Sunset Shimmer, Twilight, Spike, Time Man, Dingodile, Fluttershy, Lanky, Hunter, Bianca, Sgt. Byrd, Sheila, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Agent 9, Oil Man, Tiny, Bentley, Pinkie Pie, Chunky, Kiddy, Poipole, and Applejack all went in. "Good luck."
They all screamed as they went hurling through the inter dimensional void. A dimesional rift opens in a jungle on Melemele Isand and they all dogpile on each other.
"Wee! Let's do that again!" Pinkie cheered.
"How about we don't?" Sheila asked.
"What a ride," Hunter said. The cheetah looked around and saw nothing familair around. "You think we made it in the right place?"
"And which place would that be?" Sunset Shimmer asked.
"I don't know, but I just want to find Spyro and ELora and high-tail it out of here," Hunter said.
"Oh, come on, Hunter, we just got here! Where's your sense of adventure? Who knows what we might find out here? Maybe some bad guy butt to kick, maybe?" Agent 9 cackled as he readies his laser.
"Stand down, Agent 9. We don't want to make the locals think we're dangerous," Sgt. Byrd said.
"I agree. This is too much jungle for my liking," Bentley said.
"Looks okay to me," Chunky said. Kiddy saw a Grubbin pop out and Kiddy became curious. He got too close as Grubbin pinched te baby ape's nose. Kiddy started crying getting his brother's attention. "What's the matter, baby bro? Did something scare you?" Chunky tosses his younger sibling up to calm him down. Chunky made sure to catch him in his hands.
Just then, a Pichu is seen, carrying a piece of fruit in its paws. Fluttershy notices and the Pichu made a stop.
"Hello there, little guy," Fluttershy cooed. The Pichu offered her the fruit. "Thank you, that's very sweet of you."
"You don't think there could be some Rhynocs lurking around here, do you?" Hunter asked.
"I doubt that, Hunter. We might be in the Kongs' home for all we know," Bianca said.
"Doubt it. Nothing about this jungle is familiar," Tiny said.
"What are we standing around here for? Let's just look around and see hwere we are," Oil Man suggetsed.
"Good idea. I don't mind doing some exploring," Sheila said as the group started to make their way through the jungle. They reached the jungle's edge and saw some cars and people along with some Pokémon.
"Looks like a town," Lanky said.
"That we can see, Captain Obvious," Oil Man said.
"Are we on Hawaii?" Dingodile asked. Everyone all shrugged their shoulders.
Back in the land of Hyrule, Kirby, Meta Knight, and Bandana Dee were being escorted by Link, Linkle, and Impa into the throne room. Sitting in the throne room is a young woman with the same elven ears, wearing a pink outfit that is suitable for a warrior princess. She has blue eyes as well. She took a look at the otherwordly vistors. She was told about them from Link, Linkle, and Impa, so she decided to hear them out to determined if they were really a threat.
"Are they the ones?" The princess asked.
"Yes, Princess Zelda. Link and Linkle encountered them earlier. When Ganondorf's Goriyas attacked, those creatures fought them off as well," Impa said.
"We think it might some kind of tric to get us to let our guard down," Link said.
"Maybe not," Zelda said. "If they were truly Ganondorf's minions they would never risk their lives for the likes of us. There doesn't appear to be a spell on them to make them attack us at any moment."
"We didn't mean to cause some harm, but at least you can listen to reason," Bandana Dee said. They undid their retraints.
"You said that you came from a kingdom known as Dreamland; a kingdom in another world, no less," Zelda guessed.
"Yes. Our king went missing, possibly kidnapped, so we were looking for him and we got pulled into some kind of portal and ended up in your kingdom," Meta Knight said.
"One of you mentioned that your castle was attacked by monsters. Can you describe them to me?" Zelda asked.
"The monters looked like bulldogs, but they all and weapons, armed to the teeth. Didn't know who and what they were," Bandana Dee said.
"Sounds like Moblins," Zelda said. "It's possible that Ganondorf is behind all this."
"What is he plotting?" Link asked.
"I don't know, Link, but we're gonna have to look into Ganondorf's castle and see. And these three shall accompay us," Zelda said.
"and by we, you mean, you, me, and Ipa?" Link asked.
"You, me, and Linkle," Zelda said. Impa was surprised to hear her decision.
"Princess, you will need me to accompay you," Impa urged.
"No, Impa. The castle shall need your protection. You and the rest of the Shiekah are needed here to guard the Triforce while we're gone."
"With all due respect, I cannot let you go out without proper protection," Impa said.
"And I'm not proper protection?" Link asked.
"Link is more than capable to protecting me. He and his sister will let no harm come to me. And if these three are half the warriors as you said, then we shall need an extra hand," Zelda said. Impa had no choice but to stand down.
"As you wish, my princess," Impa said.
With that said, Kirby, Link, Zelda, Meta Knight, Linkle, and Bandana Dee stepped out of the castle and rode on towards Ganondorf's castle to learn of the crisis they're in. Unknown t them, a raven with glowing red eyes is spying on them and flies to follow them.
Back in the Hoenn region, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and Team Choatix were setting up to head for Pacidlog Town after having themselves a good breakfast when they suddenly heard a loud rumbliing sound.
"You hear that?" Sora asked.
"What?" Vector asked.
They all listened and they it was getting loder and louder. Suddenly, a group of Rhyhorn came charging through the trees.
"Rhyhorn! Run!" Sora shouted. Not needing to be told twice, they all ran for their lives with the Rhyhorn pursuing them. On the other side, a group of Donphan came charging at them. "You gotta be kidding! Donphan too?!" Sora exclaimed. Vector grabbed Sora as the group ran to get out of the way of the tusks and horns of the two Pokémon. "That was close."
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Something tells me that we're in the middle of a turf war," Vector deduced.
"That would make sense since Rhyhorn are territorial Pokémon," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"On the other hand, Donphan are nothing to sneeze at either. If weren't for their charges, those tusks could do some pretty bad damage," Sora said.
"What could they be fighting about?" Charmy asked.
"It could be over territory like Vector said. Let's just hope we can get out of it before we really end up in a rock and a hard place," Sora said.
"And no pun intended," Meowth said.
They started to make their way through to make it to the port to Pacidlog Town. But along the way, the turf war between the Donphan and the Rhyhorn were raging on. Sora looked over to Kairi with an idea.
"Kairi, I think we can use Sealeo and our Snowrunt to deal with the Donphan and Rhyhorn," Sora suggested.
"What good would that do?" Espio asked.
"Both Donphan and Rhyhorn are Ground Type Pokémon, so they're weak against both Water and Ice Type attacks," Kairi said.
"Makes sense since water makes mud and ice makes the ground very cold," Charmy said. "But can't Pikachu just zap them?"
"Ain't gonna work because Pikachu's electric attacks won't have any effect on them," Meowth said.
"That doesn't sound very reassuring," Charmy groaned.
"We'll have to go with their plan, Charmy. It's obvious they know what they're doing," Vector said.
"I agree. They have experience in this sort of thing," Espio said. Sora took out two of his Pokéballs as Kairi took out one of hers.
"Go!" Sora and Kairi called out as Sealeo and the two Snorunt both came out.
"Sealeo! Water Gun! Snorunt! Powder Snow!" Sora ordered.
"Snorunt! You use Icy Wind!" Kairi ordered.
Sora's Sealeo and Snorunt fired their attacks at the rampaging Pokémon, making them back away due to their weakness to water and ice. Kairi's Snorunt fired Icy Wind wit the same result.
"Go!" Sora shouted as they ran pass them. As they ran they saw huge herds of Donphan and Rhyhorn clash both horn and tusks. "Crap! There's too many of them!"
"We could always go around," Vector suggested.
"Better than having to stick around and decide the winner," Mewoth said.
"It's worth a shot," Sora said. They all ran to get to the otehr side, but there were just too many of them. They dove into a nearby bush. "So much for going around."
"If this keeps us, we'll be flatter than pancakes," Meowth said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"If only Sonic were here, he would get pass them without a problem," Charmy said. "Not just Sonic, but also Silver since he can use his telepathic powers to lift them up."
"I wish they were here too," Vector said.
"Any other ideas?" Meowth asked.
"Looks like we're gonna need more than water and ice to get through this crowd. Sceptile would be the good choice since Ground Types are weak against Grass Types. Kairi, we might need Rosereade and Shiinotic might help out," Sora said.
"Good idea, Sora," Kairi said. He took out his Pokédex and handed it to her. She exchanged Volbeat and Illumise for Roserade and Shiinotic since theyre Grass Type Pokémon. Sher nads it back to her boyfriend. Just before they could set off to go through, three Phanpy came out of the shrubs.
"Phanphy!" One of the Phanpy said. They all turned to see the small elephant Pokémon.
"What are they?" Charmy asked.
"Those are Phanpy. They're Donphan's pre-evolved form," Kairi said.
"Hard to believe something this innocent looking can turn into something like those Dpnphan," Espio said.
"Phanpy, Pha, Phan, Phnpy," the first Phanpy said.
"What do you mean?" Meowth asked.
"What did that one say?" Sora asked.
"That little Phanpy said that they need our help to put a stop to this war," Meowth translated.
"You can understand what they're saying?" Espio asked.
"Yeah, because I'm a Pokémon just like they are," Meowth said.
"Just how did it stat in the first place?" Kairi asked.
"Phanpy, Phanpy, Phanpy, Phan, Phan, Phanpy, py, py, py," the first Phanpy said.
"The little Phanpy said that this whole thing started all because of a prank," Meowth said.
"All that over a prank?" Sora asked.
"The feeling's mutual," Vector said, glaring at Charmy for that shower stunt.
"Phanpy, py, py, py, Phanpy, Phanpy, Phanpy, py, py," the first Phanpy said.
"It was when one of the Phanpy here tied a huge log on one of the Rhyhorn's rump and taunted him," Meowth translated.
"Py, py, Phanpy, Phanpy, Phan, Phan, Phanpy, Phan," the second Phanpy said.
"And that one just said, that it was that one Phanpy's fault that the Rhyhorn are mad at them in the first place," Meowth translated. The third Phanpy frowned and looked at the ground with regret.
"Phanpy, Phan, Phan," the third Phanpy said.
"It was just a joke," Meowth translated. The other two Phany both glare at the third one.
"So, this whole thing was all because pratical joke. I wouldn't find it funny if someone did that to me," Sora said. "Then again, I wouldn't go that far."
"Phanpy, Phan, Phan, Phanpy, py, Phan, Phan," the first Phanpy begged.
"So, they'll be needing our help to put an end to it before they destroy the whole forest," Meowth translated.
"Looks like we'll have to," Sora said. "It's the only way to put an end to this war." Kairi, Team Choatix, and the Pokémon were all in agreement. They only way it was gonna stop if they stop them. "So, I got an idea on how we're gonna do it." After doing some planning, Soa, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and Team Choatix got into position. Espio looked at the kunia enfused with water, ice, and grass, since they're weak against those elements. Sora, Pikachu, Sceptile, Sealeo, and the Male Snorunt were in position as Kairi, Angel, Roserade, Shiinotic, and her Snorunt were looking at them. Vector looked through his binoculars as Charmy buzzes in the sky above, carrying Meowth.
"Hope this works," Meowth said.
"Me too. Reminds me of a mission we took for the Freedom Fighters," Charmy said.
Vector looked through the binoculars and saw both the Donphan and Rhyhorn herds get into position. He waves to the couple, letting them know that they're coming right towards each other.
"There's the signal," Sora said. He looked at his Pokémon. "Ready to rock?" Pikachu, Sceptile, Sealeo, and the male Snorunt nodded.
"Time to go, ladies," Kairi said as Angel, Roserade, Shiinotic, and the female Snorunt all nodded. Vector signalled to Espio that they're coming right towards them. The purple chameleon readied his kunai and waited for Sora's word. The two heards got into posistion and readied themselves to charge. The Rhyhorn raised their horns as the Donphan prepared to roll right at them. The leaders of each herds made the order and they all charged. The Donphan rolled into balls and headed right towards them. The Rhyhorn charges right at the rolling elephant Pokémon. Just then, three sets of Ice Beam strikes the ground, making them halt. Sceptile jumped out and fired Bullet Seed at them. They began to scatter. Roserade whiped up Magical Leaf and Petal Blizzard and they struck the Rhyhorn. Espio turned invisible and threw the kunai, making a splash and chills. They also had grass stains on them. The two Snorunt kept firing Ice Beam. Some of the Donphan set their sights on the male Snorunt and charged right at them with their tusks emitting fire.
"Those Donphan are using Fire Fang!" Sora gasped.
"Pika!" Pikachu also gasped.
The Donphan chased the male Snorunt and struck him hard. The male Snorunt manages to get up, but is pretty injured. The female Snorunt went to the male to help him up, but the attacking elephant and rhino Pokémon kept coming at them. THe maler Snorunt stood in front of the female Snorunt and fired Ice Beam right at the attacking Pokémon, but they kept using Fire Fang to block it out. Just then, the male Snorunt started to evolve. Everyone were astoounded by the sudden evolution. The male Snorunt had evolved into a Glalie. The newly evolved Glalie had let out a much more powerful Ice Beam, freezing the Donphan and Rhyhorn surrounding them.
"My Snorunt evolved into a Glalie!" Sora said.
"Another evolution to be seen!" Vector said.
"Glalie! Ice Fang!" Sora ordered. Glalie had let out Ice Fang and froze the attacking Donphan and Rhyhorn. Kairi's Snorunt was grateful for him helping her like that. THe Donphan and Rhyhorn were now at a standoff as Sora and Kairi stood between the herds. "Enough is enough!"
"This has gone too far!" Kairi said. The two herds of Pokémon would have charged right at the humans, but their Pokémon stood beside them as well. Team Choatix and Meowth joined in. "You didn't have to go far to go into war all because of a joke!"
"She's right. I get why you Rhyhorn are angry, but you kinda took it too far. And the Donphan were only protecting the Phanpy, but they were only young, so they didn't know any better. So, if you're gonna set an example for the little tykes, then you're gonna have to put a stop to this before it goes too far. What do you say?" The two leaders looked at each other and thought for a moment. They both came into an agrrement and put an end to the war once and for all. Donphan shook Rhyhorn's horn as a sign for peace.
"We just put an end to a war between two different Pokémon," Vector said.
"Now we can get to a boat without any problem," Espio said.
With the matter settled, the group headed for the pier to catch a boat to Paficdlog Town. Vector, Espio, and Charmy wore their disguises since they didn't want to be found out. It was only a matter of time before they met up with May there.
Back in Abel City, X, Zero, Axl, and Alia, sat along with a robot wearing black armor, making him look like a commander. With them is a female robot that is wearing a beret and has armor that is built like a dress, and has long brown hair. One is appears to be a dark-skinned female robot with a beauty mark on the left side of her face, and long violet hair set in a traditional Japanese princess hairstyle, which covers her green eyes except when flustered. Her armor design features a white and blue color scheme with light purple accents, as well as yellow jewels; her arms have a bell-sleeve design. She wears a red transceiver headset with a bit of a receiver-like design. Her upper arms, midriff and bottom part of her breasts, and parts of her thighs are covered in a clear body suit, while her chest is mostly covered by a white armored plate. And the other one appears to be younger than Alia and the other three. She has short blonde hair and two structures on either side of her head made to resemble twintails. Her armor is predominantly a yellow-ish green, while her body is a dark blue. She possesses two panels on her hips that evoke the appearance of a skirt, and appears to have a collar around her neck, making it somewhat look like she is wearing a schoolgirl's uniform.
Entering the room are two other robots. One is tall, serious-looking robot. His armor is black, yellow, white, and red in color, and is made to look like a long military coat with a collar. He wears a hat with its bill pointing downwards. His shoulders bear spherical blue jewels in the center and a sharp spike on the top. He is holding a saber like a cane. With him is a large robot with his armor colored with brilliant golds and royal blues, befitting a respected leader and symbol of hope. His body is designed to resemble the uniform of a military officer, possessing a long coat and a cap. He also has a large moustache that spikes upwards and a black design along his jaw that resembles a beard.
"Now that our friends from the Repliforce had arrived, we can now get down to business," the robot in black said.
"Thank you for inviting us here, Signas. Normally, we would have gotten a handle on things, but being in the grave circumstances, we are in need of assistance," the large gold robot said with an accent.
"I agree witht the General. Many of our Repliforce members has gone Maverick and we are being pinned into a corner," the other robot said with the same accent.
"Not only that, but some memebrs of the Red Alert Syndicate were seen commiting crimes as well," Alia said, making Axl feel uneasy.
"Oh man," Axl said in his thoughts.
"We suspect that there could be some sort of pattern, but without any sufficent evidence, there's no way of proving it," Alia said.
"But we got some fingers pointing to Gate since he has an act of making dangerous Reploids, and not to mention Dr. Doppler since he's gone Maverick," Zero said.
"So, it could just be any Maverick in Sigma's services or not," X said.
"Looks like it," Zero said. "So, I asked Iris and Layer to get some information on the matter. "Iris, how about you start us off?" Iris nodded.
"We did some connecting on the matters. So far, we managed to identify some Mavericks causing some disturbances; being memebers of the Repliforce. Spiral Pegasus, Storm Owl, and Frost Walrus," Iris spoke with the same accent of the Repliforce Reploids, as the images of three Reploids, one bring a walrus with his body being white and his fists being blue. His tusks are made of icicles as well as the spikes on his shoulders. He had green joints on his feet. The other being a red owl with the same beret as Iris, but has a green chest and blue jewels on his shoulders. The final one is a white pegasus-like Reploid with red trims on his massive wings. "After that, they somehow vanished out of our radar."
"Also, there had been some recent activity involving the Jakob Project," Layer spoke up. "As you know, we have a new generation of Reploids, designed to keep from going Maverick, but somehow they did go Maverick. On top of that, the curator, Lumine, went missing right at the same time."
"This is getting pretty serious," Axl said.
"We can have a panic that can spread faster than the Sigma Virus. We better work hard to put out before it gets worse," the General said. "Colonel, you know what to do, right?"
"Yes sir. I'll get some of our remaining troops looking into this matter thoroughly. And I'll order them to report any new findings to either to you or myself," the Colonel said.
"Excellent," the General said.
"Now that we have compared all we have so far, we have to find Sigma or whoever is behind it and put a stop to it. X, Zero, and Axl are our top Maverick Hunters for the task," Signas said.
"Roger," X, Zero, and Axl said.
"If there is nothing more, than the meeting is adjourned," Signas announced.
They all stepped out as Iris was approached by Zero.
"Good job on that digging around you did, Iris," Zero said.
"Thank you, Zero. You think my brother was impressed?" Iris asked.
"I think he was. How could he not?" Zero asked.
"You're right. And I'm happy to be a apart of the Maverick Hunters. I thought I was gonna have a difficult time since the Repliforce had reassigned me," Iris said.
"I'm just happy that you're here, becuase I don't know how it'll turn out if you hadn't come along," Zero said. That made Iris smile.
"You're not just strong, but you're pretty sweet too," Iris said kindly. The two Reploids held hands and went to join up with the others. Suddenly, a dimensional rift opens up. What came out is what looks like a light gray anthropomorphic hedgehog with white fur on his chest surrounding his neck with gold eyes and tan skin. He wears white gloves with cyan circles with lines sticking out of the bottom leading to his golden bracelets accented in cyan. The tops of his boots are of a similar fashion with a red gem set in gold. The rest of his boots are navy blue, white and cyan. He has two large spines at the back of his head, while at the front of his forehead there are five distinct spines flared up and back, the two final ones covering up most of his ears. Zero readies his saber and it emits a lime green beam. "Who and what are you?" The hedgehog looked right at Zero and Iris.
"I could ask you the same thing," the hdegehog said. "But, for now, I'll introduce myslef as SIlver."
Back over in Hoenn, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and Team Choatix had finally arrived in Pacidlog Town for the final contest before the Grand Festival taking place. How will Sora fare as a jdge? And will May be able to earn her last ribbon in order to qualify? Just wait and see.
