Episode 273: Pacifidlog Jam!
Okay, we had a hard time seeing new chapters due to some sort of error and/or bug. To all those who are not members of the website and who haven't read the previous two chapters before this one, I suggest that you go right back and read those first. Enjoy the fic!
Over in Kanto, Jessie and James made a visit an estate, but one James is happy to see.
"Why are we here?" Jessie asked.
"We don't want to risk being found out, so this is the only place I know we'll be able to be safe; especially from my parents," James said. "There are some good people here." The couple waltzed inside the estate. "Nanny! PawPaw!" Two elderly people stepped out. The man wore a light green shirt and green overalls. He also had brown shoes on. The woman wore an orange dress with her hair tied in a bun.
"Hold yer horses," the man said with a southern accent. The elderly couple gasped when they saw James. "Well, I'll be a Mankey's uncle!"
"It's little James!" The woman said. James ran up to whom Jessie had to guess is his grandparents. "It's been years since we've seen your happy face, little James. How have you been?"
"I've been good, Nanny," James said. He turned to Jessie. "Come here and meet my grandparents. Jessie, this is my Nanny and PawPaw. Nanny, PawPaw, meet Jessie."
"Well now. Aren't you a peach?" James's PawPaw said.
"My, my, little James, she is stunning," Nanny said.
"Thank you, ma'am," Jessie said, feeling loved and accepted.
"Jessie is my fiancé," James said. His grandparents smiled happily to know that their only grandson is getting married.
"So, is she the one who your folks, picked for you, little James?" PawPaw asked.
"We did hear that your parents had arranged a bride for you," Nanny said.
"No, Jessie's someone who I picked for myself. Mother and father doesn't know about me and her, but I didn't come here just for that," James said.
"Then, what?" James's grandfather asked.
"We were wondering if we could stay for a while. There's something big going on and we don't wanna be found by anyone particular," James said. PawPaw laughed.
"Sure thing, little James," PawPaw said.
"You and your lady are welcomed to stay for as long as you want. Now come in and have a seat for lunch, you two must be starving. You're nothing but skin and bones," Nanny said.
James's grandparents led them inside the estate as James prepares to tell them about what he was up to.
Back in Hoenn, Erika and the Jester both got into position for their battle. Erika had her Jynx out and the Jester had his Mr. Mime out.
"Ladies andd gentlemen! It's time for the second round! Now, to those who don't know, theis round of contest battling victory goes to Coordinators who use their techniques in a successful and elegant manner before the five-minute limit is up!" Vivian announced.
"Five minutes? That isn't much," Waluigi said. "I can keep that up in less than a minute." Waluigi laughed.
"The crowd is sure getting fired up," Vector said.
"And who can blame them?" Charmy asked as Max nodded.
"Now, the contestants for the first battle on the first stage are Erika and the Jester!" Vivian announced.
"If you don't be a laughing stock of the contest, it's not too late to make like a Wimpod and turn tail!" The Jester taunted before blowing a raspberry.
"I'll be sure to remind you of that while I'm standing on the final stage. And then my Joshua and I will win our Ribbons together," Erika said. Sora heard the whole thing and rolled his eyes.
"Someone should tell that girl it doesn't work that way," Sora said in his thoughts. Erika giggled as she went into her daydream.
"Wait, wait, wait! You and Joshua winning a ribbon together? Now, that's funny!" The Jester said, laughing an he fell on his back flaling his legs up. "Oh, that's a good one! You and him winning a Ribbon together! That's hilarious!" The Jester laughed some more.
"I'm not joking, you dumb clown! I'm actually serious!" Erika yelled, feeling insulted. Jynx glances over to Meowth and makes a kissy face at the scratch cat Pokémon. That made Meowth cringe. Max turned to Mewoth with a puzzled look.
"What's wrong, Meowth?" Max asked.
"Nothing," Meowth lied. Max was a bit confused. Meowth said in his thoughts, "If I didn't know any better, I think that Jynx has the hots for me, even for an Ice Type Pokémon." Jynx winks at him, making him even more uncomfortable.
"Let the battle begin!" Vivian called out.
"Okay Jynx! Start off with a Lovely Kiss!" Erika ordered. Jynx blew a kiss as a a pink aura shaped like her lips heads for Mr. Mime.
"Use your Light Screen to block that Lovely Kiss!" The Jester ordered. Mr. Mime forms a yellowish-gold barrier to block Lovely Kiss. "Now coe at her with a red hot Fire Punch!" Mr. Mime hops and comes at Jynx with its fist emitting fire.
"Mr. Mime has blocked Lovely Kiss with Light Screen and is coming at her with a Fire Punch!" Vivian announced. Mr. Mime lands a successful punch onto Jynx, making Erika lose some points.
"That's-a spicy meat-a-ball! Keep up that Fire Punch!" The Jester ordered. Mr. Mime kept pummeling Jynx with Fire Punch, making Erika lose some more points.
"Mr. Mime is really giving it to Jynx, making good use of Jynx's vulnerability to fire! How can Erika hope to counter that?" Vivian asked.
"Jynx! Use Psychic to block Fire Punch!" Erika ordered. Jynx uses Psychic to stop Mr. Mime from using Fire Punch.
"Looks like the tables are starting to turn on the Jester!" Vivian announced.
"That isn't funny!" The Jester yelled.
"Now make Mr. Mime hit itself!" Erika called out. Jynx makes Mr. Mime punch itself in the face and it was the Jester who was losing points now.
"Now Jynx is making Mr. Mime give it a taste of its own attack!" Vivian announced.
"Hope Mr. Mime doesn't end up with heartburn," Sora said in his thoughts.
"Now use Hyper Beam make it a poweful one!" Erika ordered. Jynx fires Hyper Beam right at the barrier Pokémon.
"Try using Light Screen to block!" The Jester called out. Before Mr. Mime could do that, Jynx's Hyper Beam hits its mark and it earned a knockout in Erika's behalf.
"And the Jester and Mr. Mime are out and Erika is moving on towards the final round of the contest battles!" Vivian announced. "Now, let's hear what Sora has to hear about what he thought of that display."
"Gotta hand it to the Jester, he had the right idea using Fire Punch since Jynx is an Ice Type Pokémon, but the way Erika had turned the tables on Jester like that, I guess I can say that the joke was on him," Sora said.
"And there you have it! Our next battle is going to begin in just a few moments!" Vivian announced.
"Not the first time the joke's been on me," the Jester said. "And it won't be the last." He turned to Mr. Mime. "Come on, Mr. Mime, let's go drown our sorrows with some milkshakes. That always cheers us both up."
"Mime, Mr. Mime," Mr. Mime said. Just when May was gonna head for the stage, she confronts May.
"What the hell is your problem?! Why do you have to bite my head off for?!" May exclaimed.
"Because you're trying to steal my Joshua from me! We trained together everyday forever! And when he said that we had to train separately, I was extremely hurt by those words. But I also know Joshua still wants to win this as a couple. So, you stay out of our way!" Erika shouted.
"Just how stupid are you?!" May yelled. "I am not after Joshua or anyone else! I am here to earn a Ribbon fair and square! So, I do not give a crap about your little problems! So, if I were you, I would just keep my big fat mouth shut and stop dragging other people into your little misery!" With that said, May took her leave. Erika didn't say anything. She was insulted that May called her stupid in her face and how she didn't care about her problem.
Back in the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario rode on Yoshi's back. Yoshi ran as fast as his feet could carry him.
"Hurry Yoshi! Hurry!" Mario pleaded.
"I'm going as fast as I can!" Yoshi exclaimed.
Over in the castle, Koopalings reached Princess Peach's bed chambers and got into positions to capture Princess Peach. Larry knocked on the door.
"Coming," the princess announced from inside her room. She stepped outside only to be ensnared into a trap.
"Oh no! Not again!" Peach shrieked. The Koopalings laughed as an elderly anthromorphic mushroom with a tan complexion and a beige cap with brown spots. He has a puffy, white mustache. He wore a light purple vest with gold buttons. Layered on top of the vest is a purple, sleeveless jacket that hangs down like a tuxedo with gold trim. Underneath he wears white bottoms and brown, padded booties. He also wears small, black glasses and a red bow-tie. He walks around using a stick-like cane that has a brown mushroom cap on top with beige spots on it. He sees the Koopalings taking the princess once again.
"Oh good heavens! Not again!" The elderly mushroom shrieked. "Guards! Guards! Koopalings in the castle!" Not too far, Spyro and Elora hears the commotion.
"Koopalings?" Elora asked.
"Sounds like Bowser's goons are at it! And it's time that I spring into action!" Spyro said, charging through the halls. Several more of the anthromorphic mushrooms rush to help their princess. All had red, blue, yellow, green, and purple spots and wore vests to match the color of their spots. The Koopalings waved their magic wands as circles, squares, and triangles all form around them and fire their magic. Some of the mushrooms were turned into blocks. Spyro came plowing through. He looked at the Koopalings and huffed.
"You guys are Koopas? You look more like wannabe turtles to me!" Spyro taunted.
"And we were expecting you to be much bigger, dragon!" Larry said. Spyro was about to charge into the Koopalings, but Ludwig stopped him.
"I wouldn't if I was you, dragon," Ludwig said as Morton took out the ball containing Sparx, making Spyro gasp. "You take one more step forward and your little bug goes squish."
"Let Sparx and the princess go! Or else you guys are barbecued!" Spyro said.
"And how are you gonna do it without putting your insect in harm's way?" Iggy asked. Mario rode in on Yoshi as the dinosaur came running in. Mario was in shock to see the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom captured by the Koopalings.
"Peach!" Mario gasped.
"Mario!" Peach cried.
Lemmy waved his wand around and it forms a yellow ball with orange stars. The ball bounces towards the plumber as Mario jumped off and lands onto the ball. Mario heads for the Koopalings as Wendy uses her wand to create red and white rings. Mario dodges them as Spyro flames the rings, burning them into a crisp. Just then, a mechanical claw comes down from the ceiling and grabs the princess.
"Princess! Sparx!" Spyro cried.
"Peach!" Mario cried.
The Koopalings escapes and heads outside. Elora and the elderly mushroom came running to the scene.
"Oh no!" Elora said.
"My goodness!" The elderly mushroom gasped.
"Don't worry, Sparx! I'll save you, buddy!" Spyro called out. Sparx had faith in his dragon companion that he'll rescue him.
"Sir Mario! Please rescue the princess! Please!" The elderly mushroom pleaded.
"Don't-a worry, Toadsworth. I'll have her back. Luigi would do the same-a for Daisy," Mario said.
Speaking of Luigi and Daisy, the have themselves a picnic out in a meadow. Luigi whispered something into Daisy's ear and she giggled.
"Oh, Luigi," Daisy cooed.
"Only because you're the most sweetest and and beautiful girl in the girl in the world; more so than Peach. Don't tell Mario or Peach I said that," Luigi said.
"My lips are sealed," Daisy said. "Just don't tell them that I said that you're the most caring man in the world. And you're even more handsome than Mario," Daisy said. That made the green-clad plumber smile.
"You truly are a princess. And you're my princess, Daisy," Luigi said. Luigi and Daisy were about to kiss each other when a dimensional rift opens up above them and sucks them both in. "Daisy!"
"Luigi!" Daisy shouted. They held on as they go through the void. They ended in a whole different world. They saw a town that was within a forest. And they saw anthromorphic animals going on with their everyday routines. "Luigi, where are we?"
"Wish I knew," Luigi said.
"You're in Knothole," a new voice spoke. The voice belonged to an orange-yellow anthromorphic fox cub with two tails. He has blue eyes. His attire consists of white gloves with a gray band around each wrist, and shoes that are red from the heel to the middle and white from the middle to the toe with gray soles, each with a gray band around the ankle. "You're not Overlanders, so you came out of that hole, did ya?"
"How did you know?" Daisy asked.
"I saw you. Anyway, the name's Miles Prower. You can call me Tails," the fox introduced.
Luigi introduced, "I'm Luigi."
Diasy introduced, "My name's Daisy." Tails looked at Daisy and stroked his chin.
"You wouldn't happen to be a princess, could you?" Tails asked.
"Yes," Daisy answered.
"You two wouldn't mind coming with me, won't you?" Tails asked.
"Not at all. We would rather know how to go back home," Luigi said.
"And everyone will be worried sick when they hear we're gone," Daisy added. Luigi and Daisy followed the two-tailed fox through the village of Knothole, passing by the anthromorphic animals.
Back in Pacifidlog Town, the battle between May and Joshua as May and Joshua had lost some points.
"Houndoom! Flamethrower!" Joshua ordered. Houndoom fired Flamethrower right at the kitten Pokémon.
"Dodge it and use Tackle!" May ordered. Skitty ran and headed right towards Houndoom. Skitty successfully lands a Tackle. "Now, move in with Double Slap!" Skitty prepares her tail to land a Double Slap.
"Dodge it and use Swift!" Joshua ordered. Houndoom ducks out of the way of Skitty's Double Slap and smacks her with its tail. Houndoom fires Swift and lands a hit onto Skitty.
"Wow, this second battle on the first stage is certainly is one intense competition," Vivian announced. "Both May and Joshua continue to hammer away at each other without giving an inch! The competitive energy bwtween these two is truly white hot." Erika weatches from the back as she grins and is sure that Joshua is going to win it.
"May won't beat Joshua. There's no way," Erika said sure that she was going to win it with Joshua.
"Skitty! Blizzard!" May ordered. Skitty fires Blizzard right at Houndoom, but he knoew how to counter that.
"Houndoom! Flamethrower!" Joshua ordered. Houndoom fires Flamethrower right at Skitty's Blizzard and quickly over powers the Ice Type attack.
"On no! Skitty, get up!" May pleaded.
"May had hoped Blizzard was going to help turn this match around, but Houndoom's Flamethrower proved to be too strong," Vivian announced.
"Told ya," Erika taunted.
"Blizzard's the most powerful attack Skitty's got," Max said.
"Looks like Houndoom is too hot to handle," Charmy said.
"Joshua had trained his Houndoom well," Espio said.
"Come on, May. I know you can do it," Kairi said. May looked over to Kairi and she she had confidence in her. May smiled at her and nodded.
"Houndoom! Use Swift!" Joshua ordered. Houndoom fired Swift right at Skitty.
"Skitty! Assist!" May ordered. Kairi, Max, Brendan, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and Team Choatix all gasped at her choice.
"Assist? Not again!" Max said.
"What is she thinking?" Brendan asked.
Skitty's Assist came out as Razor Leaf and it cuts through the stars like cheese.
"Now, use Tackle!" May ordered. Skitty charges and lands a hard Tackle onto Houndoom. The dark Pokémon slides on the ground.
"Houndoom, are you alright?" Joshua asked.
"May took a chance and it worked out fine! With Assist, she came up with a beautiful combination of Razor Leaf and Tackle!" Vivian announced.
"Luck. Ending up with Razor Leaf was pure luck and nothing else," Erika said.
"Skitty! Double Slap! Go!" May ordered.
"Fire Fang, Houndoom!" Joshua ordered. Houndoom lands a feiry bite onto Skitty.
"Not bad, Joshua," May complimented.
"You're pretty good yourself," Joshua complimented back. Erika saw how hard May had battled and saw how Joshua was enjoying the battle. "Houndoom! Flamethrower! Now!" Houndoom fires Flamethrower right at Skitty.
"Blizzard, Skitty!" May ordered. Skitty fires Blizzard right at Flamethrower to block it and it came out stronger.
"Blizzard didn't work the first time!" Max exclaimed.
"Doesn't mean it won't work the second time," Brendan said. Max looked right at Brendan with a puzzled look on his face.
"What does that mean?" Max asked.
"He's right. I just noticed how much stronger it just came out. If I weren't wering this trenchcoat, my scales would fall off," Vector said.
"Would you look at this? May's Blizzard was useless just minutes ago. But, if you want a real match, now you've got it. Both contestants have roughly the same number of points with barely less than one minute remaining in this heart-stopping battle!" Vivian announced.
"Houndoom, come on now, it's up to your Flamethrower to get us to that winner's circle," Joshua said.
"Skitty, you can do it! Just keep on attacking with your Blizzard!" May cheered.
"Don't tell me. The two of them? They're staying perfectly in synch no matter what moves either one of them makess Could it be that they're the perfect battling couple?" Erika asked.
"The clock's ticking down to less than thirty seconds left. Which attack will win out? Flamethrower or Blizzard?" And which attacker will come out on top? Houndoom or Skitty?" Vivian asked.
"Hang in there, May!" Max called out.
"Don't give up!" Brendan said.
"I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm getting hot and cold just watching this," Meowth said.
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Vee!" Angel said.
"Now Houndoom! Full Power! Let's go!" Joshua called out. Houndoom increases the power of Flamethrower.
"Go Skitty! Turn it up!" May called out. Skitty increases her Blizzard attack and it resulted in an explosion between the two. Both the canine and feline Pokémon tried to hold their ground, but it's Houndoom take took the blow and Joshua ended up losing more points than May. The clock runs out.
"And time's up! And the winner of the second battle on the second stage is May her Skitty!" Vivian announced.
"I knew she could do it!" Brendan cheered.
"I was so at the edge of my seat, I didn't care I was gonna blow our cover," Charmy said.
"That's showing 'em, May!" Max cheered for his sister.
"Gotta hand it to Joshua, he gave it everything he had," Vector said.
"But, it's not over yet. May still has Erika to deal with," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"And and that Jynx of hers," Meowth said.
"He lost?" Erika asked in a low tone. Erika and May got on the final stage, ready for the final battle in the Pacifidlog Contest.
"Ladies and gentlemen! As the Pacifidlog Pokémon Contest draws to a close these two Coordinators will battle it out! May and Erika!" Vivian announced. The crowd starts cheering. Erika turned to May.
"I've got just one thing to tell you before we get started, May," Erika said. May turned to her opponent.
"Yeah? Well, if it's any more of your girlfriend business-" May said before Erika cuts her off.
"I'm really sorry," Erika apologized. May was dumbfounded by the sudden apology. "You see, I finally got it while I was watching you battle out there, I was completely wrong. You both put everything you had into your battle and it was really great. It had nothing to do with your being his girlfriend. I realize I got caught up in my silly jealousy. But that amazing battle between you and Joshua snapped me right out of it." May was glad that she finally got the message. "What do you say? Let's go have a fair battle and may the best Coordinator win."
"Uh, okay," May said, blinking twice. "It's a deal. Let's show 'em what a real battle's all about!"
"Yeah, good luck, May," Erika csaid, shaking her opponent's hand.
"We're witnessing a great example of sportsmanship here as May and Erika shake hands before battle," Vivian announced. The crowd cheers as the two Coordinators took their positions Erika had let out her Jynx and May had let out her Jynx. "And now, let the battle begin!" The clock starts running.
"Skitty! Tackle! Go!" May ordered. Skitty charges towards the human shape Pokémon.
"Go, Jynx! Psychic now!" Erika ordered. Jynx uses Psychic to lift Skitty into the air. "Follow up wih Lovely Kiss!" Jynx blew a pink aura to land a Lovely Kiss attack. Lovely Kiss lands a successful kit as Skitty falls asleep.
"What just happened?" Espio asked.
"Why is Skitty asleep?" Charmy asked.
"That's what Lovely Kiss does. When it makes contact, the target falls asleep," Kairi said.
"Okay Jynx! Wrap it up with Blizzard!" Erika ordered. Jynx fires Blizzard and struck Skitty, waking her up.
"Well, how's that for a triple combination? Combining Psychic, Lovely Kiss, and Blizzard makes for a dangerous mix!" Vivian announced.
"That girl doesn't mess around. And the Mr. Mime she tangoed with earlier was no slouch," Sora said. Skitty lands on the ground.
"Skitty, are you okay?" May asked. Skitty gets back on her feet. "This battle's not over yet! Skitty! Assist!" May ordered. Skitty's Assist came out as String Shot and wraps the human shape Pokémon in strings.
"String Shot!" Max said.
"And May makes a comeback!" Vivian announced.
"Assist once more!" May ordered. Skitty's Assist came out as Razor Leaf. Kairi knew it was a bad thing.
"Oh no! Not Razor Leaf!" Kairi gasped.
"And that's bad, how?" Meowth asked.
"Razor Leaf's gonna cut through the strings making Jynx go loose!" Kairi said. Meowth did realize it was a bad thing.
"I see why," Meowth said.
Just as Kairi had predicted, Bulbasaur's Razor Leaf cuts through Beautifly's String Shot, making Jynx free from her temporary restraints.
"That's not good," Sora said in his thoghts.
"Whoa, that was a bad idea," Joshua said.
"Looks like you 'Assisted' the wrong side. Jynx! Let's use Psychic one more time! Jynx uses Psychic on Skitty once again.
"Oh my! Seems Psychic has gotten the best of Skitty once again!" Vivian announced.
"Jynx! Use Blizzard now!" Erika ordered. Jynx fires Blizzard to hit Skitty again.
"Skitty! Assist!" May ordered. Skitty used Assist, but came out as Squirt;s Water Gun and freezing it comepletely. The attack shatters.
"I't s clear that May's going to stick with Assist. But it looks like it's doing more harm than good," Vivian announced.
"What are you doing, May? What are you trying to pull o-" Sora said in his thoughts before he realized what she was trying to go for. "Wait a minute. Fire Spin! Right."
"Assist! Go!" May ordered. Skitty uses Assist and coes out as Vine Whip.
"Psychic, now, Jynx!" Erika ordered. Jynx uses Psychic to block Bulba'saur's Psychic and sends the vines right back at Skitty, but she easily dodges it.
"So May, why don't you try using an attack other than Assist?" Erika suggested.
"No way! Assist!" May ordered. SKitty's Assist came out as Petal Dance from Bulbasaur. That struck Jynx on the mark.
"That Assist turned out to be a Petal Dance of extreme beauty. But if I'm afraid it's too little too late," Vivian announced. The clock was running out and May had way less points than Erika does. "We now have less than thirty seconds left to go."
"No," Brendan said with worry.
"Skitty! Use Assist!" May ordered. Skitty uses Assist and it came out as Combusken's Fire Spin.
"Jynx! Hyper Beam! Let's go!" Erika ordered. Jynx fires Hyper Beam and it collides with Fire Spin. Fire Spin overpowers Jynx's Hyper Bea and lands a crucial hit onto Jynx. Erika gasped as Jynx had taken a pretty heavy blow.
"And that Assist turns into a frenzied Fire Spin! Since is an Ice Type Pokémon, it's a super-effective attack!" Vivian announced.
"I knew it," Sora said in his thoughts.
"Alright, Skitty! Let's finish this with Tackle!" May ordered.n Skitty lands a finishing blow with Tackle, earning a knockout on May's behalf.
"Jynx! No!" Erika gasped.
"Jynx is unable to battle. The Pacifidlog Contest winner is May and her fabulous Skitty!" Vivian announced.
"Alright!" May cheered Skitty jumps into May's arms, feeling happy for her win. "Skitty, you're the best."
"Man, I can't believe she pulled off that Fire Spin," Max said.
"May was trying to go for that all this time," Kairi said.
"I'm with her. She knew about weakness and went with it," Espio said.
"And she can qualify for the Grand Festival," Brendan said.
"Pika, Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Eevee!" Angel said.
May stood before Sora, Contesta, and Suziko as May prepares to recieve her final Contest Ribbon.
Outside, Wario and Waluigi were watching and they decided that they had enough watching and left to find what valuables they can get their mitts on.
"Ladies and gentlemen! Now, that the Pacifidlog Contest has been awared it gives me great plasure to the victors of the Pacifidlog Contest, May and Skitty!" Vivian announced. The audience cheered hard as May looked at the crowd.
"And that makes five for May," Brendan said.
"It sure does!" Max agreed.
Once the final Contest before the Grand Festival had concluded, Sora met up with Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and Team Chaotix.
"Had fun being a judge, Sora?" Kairi asked.
"I did better than I thought," Sora said.
"Pika, Pika," Pikachu said.
"So, now that the Contest is over and done with, the next place is to head for Slateport City, right?" Vector asked.
"That gives me a little more time to get ready. May would be expecting me to be on top of my game," Kairi said.
"And I know you're expecting the same from her," Espio said.
"I know you're gonna do fine, Kairi. Even if I get asked to be a judge again, just know that I have your back, Kairi. I'm rooting for you all the way," Sora said. That made Kairi happy to hear Sora say that.
"Thank you, Sora. I mean it," Kairi said, giving her boyfriend a deserved kiss on the lips. He kisses her back as Charmy blushes under his disguise. Pikachu and Angel smiled warmly as they shared their love with their trainers. Brendan, May, Max, Joshua and Erika were watching the scene as they witnessed the couple kissing each other.
"That is so sweet," Erika swooned.
"It sure is," Joshua agreed.
"That is what I was after. To be like Sora and Kairi. But, I know now it doesn't work that way," Erika said. "You just wanted us to train seperately to be rivals."
Joshua blushes, "I guess." He looked to Brendan. "And you're going to be rooting for your girlfriend, aren't you, Brendan?" He and May blush heavily.
"May isn't my girlfriend, but I am going to be rooting her her," Brendan said.
"I-I-I apreciate that," May said. Erika caught on that there was something between her and Brendan.
Brendan, May, and Max went their own way once again as did Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and Team Choatix. They boarded the next ship to make it to the next island. Little did they realize Wario and Waluigi were on the same boat as them; literally.
Over in Kanto in Team Rocket HQ, Giovanni had been called into a secret meeting with his partners. Still shrouded in mystery to him, Ganondorf, Bowser, King K. Rool, Dr. Wily, Dr. Eggman, Sigma, Risky Boots, King Dedede, Gnasty Gnorc, Ripto, and the Sorceress made contact with him once again.
"As promised, Giovanni," Ganondorf said, making the deliery directly to Giovanni. A white gem teleported right on Giovanni's desk. "The second Chaos Emerald. We trust that your project is coming out smoothly?"
"It may take a few months, but we are making progress. In fact, I had already figured out on which Pokémon would be the perfect weapons for the project," Giovanni said.
"Excellent. Be prepared to receive the remaining five emeralds," Ganondorf said. "Now, if you would fill us in on your little project."
"You have been giving us hints ever since we started our partnership," King K. Rool said.
"Now, it's time for you to reveal your master plan with the rest of us," Dr. Wily said.
"Ladies, gentlemen, what I propose is that we destroy the unity between Pokémon and their trainers forever. Make the Pokémon believe that they are nothing more than slaves to the human race. The Pokémon will rebel against the humans, all but our own, of course. And with the emeralds you provided for us, the hatred that the Pokémon shall feel will make it easier for us to control them," Giovanni said. The other villains nodded in agreement.
"Wonderful plan, Giovanni. You shall have our full support," Ganondorf said.
"And when will I finally meet you in person?" Giovanni asked.
"Patience, Giovanni. The time shall come. Only when we see fit. Until then, you shall recieve the final five Chaos Emeralds," Ganondorf said.
"And the negativity they feel will provide the fuel, like I explained. "Until then," Dr. Eggman said.
The villains all cut contact with Giovanni. He felt satisfied that he didn't bother to reveal the leak to them, seeing that there was no point to it.
Now that Giovanni's plan to destroy the bond between Pokémon and trainers forever had been revealed, just how does Sora and Kairi hope to stop Team Rocket from pulling off such an evil plan? What will the other villains gain out of it? More to come as we go futher in the story. Stay tuned.
