"So… Let's talk about that. Let's talk about what we want. There is no shame in that!"
Did she really… Want to tell him what she liked? Or what he wanted? His mind took over, and he immediately pictured some of the things he had seen in the book… Oh Spirits, that was going to be so good… But only if she wanted, of course!
"Y-yeah! Sure! So… ehm…" Spirits, why was he a sputtering disaster? Now? He had been confident and smooth he thought! But no, apparently one simple sentence could make him an embarrassed mess.
A tanned hand took his fingers in her grip. Looking up to the waterbender next to him, she saw how she smiled at him.
"We are here, together. It is not like we never did anything. There is no need to be embarrassed Aang." She whispered. Spirits, how did she do it? She sounded so confident, so at ease with this… But the airbender didn't miss the fact that her cheeks were slightly flushed. So… She was also a bit nervous but was better at hiding it.
"Yeah… yes, you're right… So… What would you like to do?" Spirits, how cowardly was that? Why was he like this, each time they talked about things like this… he kind of deflected it on her, letting her take the lead… But she had said that they should both say it…
"I mean, let's take turns! Doesn't matter who begins!" he quickly added. That was better…
"It's alright… Maybe… Well, get the book. It will be easier to show than to explain I think…" Katara was now clearly blushing. Oh Spirits, what she had in mind. Aang felt how his member hardened slightly. Already? She hadn't said anything, or done anything… But it was already getting ready. Spirits he needed to calm down…
He quickly settles his bag in his lap. That would serve, for the moment, to hide any… undesired side effects of their talk. This was not supposed to end in them sleeping together… or at least, that was what he thought. Was it? Aang just didn't know. But for the moment, he would just explain his own desires, and listen to what Katara wanted… And if it did end in them sleeping together once more… He would try to put the information to the test. Yes, that was the best plan.
Opening the bag, he took out the book… Air People's Ideas on Lovemaking.
"You know, my friends did give me a copy of it on my sixteenth birthday." He chuckled.
"Really? So you weren't lying when Sokka found it your chest?" Katara laughed, and Aang thought to hear a bit of relief. Relief that their talk would be postponed just a bit.
"No, but I didn't take it with me when I… left. I had not thought that I would need it in the Southern Water Tribe." He explained.
"You went there to learn waterbending, didn't you? To choose your own teachers and not let the monks decide for you?"
"I did…" That had been his plan. He had learned that the south pole was much freer and opener to outsiders than the North had been, and still was. So he had decided to find his teacher there.
"And I did, didn't I? Alright, it took me just a century, but I found an incredible one…" He smiled at her.
Aang saw how she moved her hand to the book, knocking slightly on the cover with one finger.
"And one with whom you can do these things… You should have taken your own copy with you. It would have been hilarious to see you explain that one to Sokka the first few days of our travels." The waterbender grinned at him.
Oh spirits… That would have been horrible! Aang still remembered how suspicious Sokka had been of him! There was one time were Aang had just, in the passing, without any hiding meaning behind it, said that Katara was pretty.
He had just meant it as a friendly compliment, not even trying to flirt or something! But Sokka had watched days on end after that remark, muttering something about "weird outsider, crushing on my sister." Of course, the water tribe boy had calmed down very quickly, thanks to some beating up by Suki, but it had been a few terrifying days.
"I didn't think I would need it…" Aang smiled softly to Katara, who smiled back at him. Spirit, this felt so much more comfortable than a few minutes ago. Of course, there was no reason to worry, why should he? Alright, she may not like some of the things he wanted to try… But he would respect that!
"Should we… you know, begin?" He asked, and his throat felt slightly dry as he said it.
"Yes… I can start if you want. Give me the book." She extended a hand, and he put the volume in it. Katara crossed her legs, sitting next to him, and opened the book, searching for the right page. Aang tried not to look at what she was looking up. He kind of wanted it to be a surprise, to get to know what she liked and wanted…
"So… This?" Her voice sounded small and a bit embarrassed, as she handed him the book, opened at a page.
He took it, looked down, and felt a blush come rather quickly to his face. That was… yeah!
He recognized the chapter. It treated on… well, what happened before. Foreplay. Aang had read nearly all pages from this particular chapter during their first days in the Fire Nation to get to know what Katara would like. He had not paid much attention to the things that the woman could do to the man, because he had concentrated on her pleasure.
But she had suggested doing… this. Several times actually. When they had been doing stuff in the hut after the party, she had proposed doing this for him… And then again, when Combustion Man had attacked, they had planned to do… this.
The picture next to the text was quite explanatory. It showed a woman, on her knees in front of the man… taking his member in her mouth. Aang swallowed, trying to remove the small lump that had been forming in his throat.
"Ehm… You mean… you would like to try that?" He managed to utter. He had kind of hoped they would try this… Sokka, with all his dirty jokes, had alluded to this quite often when they were alone. And it had intrigued the airbender to be honest.
"Y-yeah! I mean… You did that for me… so it would be only fair if I did the same, no?" Katara smiled hesitantly.
"You don't have to do that just because… you know. It doesn't have to be a trade." Aang objected.
"Oh no! I really want to try that!" The waterbender protested passionately, and when Aang raised his eyebrows, surprised at her reaction, he saw how she turned quite red.
"Oh shut your mouth. I would just like to try it. Your turn!" She laughed, and Aang felt his stomach clench. Oh spirits, now he needed to find something that he would like… And the airbender certainly had ideas! But he didn't want to come off as too eager, or too weird… So, he needed to find something quite… Well, acceptable.
He began to turn pages, trying to find something that would be "normal"… But the foreplay chapter was not that extensive… So, he quickly arrived at the next one… positions.
Well, they would have come to this one moment or another… He passed page forty-five, something that had spiked his interest each time Aang had read this book… But he didn't dare suggest. Not yet at least.
Several pages later, he found something that could be something interesting. It showed a woman sitting in the lap of the man, with her legs around his waist, while he entered her. It had seemed something very intimate… And he would like that.
Handing the book to Katara, the airbender looked at her expression. It didn't change that much as she read the page and stared at the picture. Spirits… Too much, wasn't it?
"We don't have to if you thi-" He was cut off by a quick kiss.
"Aang. Listen. No ideas are bad, we can discuss everything. And for your information… I would like this very much I think." Katara smiled at him, and he felt quite some respite. The airbender had been afraid to show everything, but to hear her reassure him, and probably herself, it was a huge relief.
"O-oh! That... That is good!" He sighed in relief, handing her the book.
"I don't need the book for this one. Ehm.. Well, when I do it… well, myself, I like to… to play with my breasts. And when you did that at the beginning in the hut, last time… Well, it was really good! So… I wanted to ask if you could do that… while we are doing… that." She nodded at the open book, with a head as red as the disguise she had just discarded.
Aang's mind went kind of… blank. Well, not blank. His imagination worked over hours, and he quite easily conjured up an image of Katara doing that herself. The airbender felt his member harden even further, and he quickly pressed the bag more firmly against his groin. Spirits, he was so screwed.
"Aang?" It seemed to come from far away. Oh yes, he needed to answer that!
"Y-yeah! Sure! I would love that!" He nodded quickly. Spirits yes, he would adore that!
"Your turn." She smiled, and was it his imagination playing tricks on him… or did he see the form of her nipples through her dress? No, that had to be his mind doing him dirty. That would be impossible… Wouldn't it?
Taking a quick glance at the book… He really didn't know what to suggest now. Well, he did… But would she find it weird? Aang had never even dreamed about that position… Or at least, hadn't imagined it would really work for humans. Sure, he had spent enough of his time in the Temple in the bison stables… And had seen things a young child should not see… But when he had seen the same idea in the book… It had intrigued him.
Page forty-five.
He inhaled slowly, to calm his nerves, found the right page, and handed it to her. He saw how Katara's eyes fixed for a moment on the drawing. A woman, on all four… while a man was behind…
Aang felt blood rush to his face. Oh Spirits, she didn't like it! Monkeyfeathers…. He had screwed up so badly. This was surely the moment she would close the book and hit him with it. What had he been thinking! Katara was so strong-willed, so independent… Of course, she wouldn't like something like this! Of course, she would find it weird he wanted to try this!
"Oh… you found page forty-five…" Came the small voice of the waterbender.
Oh, shit, shit, shit. She hated it. She had even memorized the page to be sure she wouldn't agree to it. Oh, he was so screwed.
"Forget I suggested it!" He tried to quickly undo his mistake. Aang wanted to hide away in the cave behind him. Spirits, he had really screwed up.
"Aang… ehm… That was the thing I wanted to suggest actually… when it was my turn."
Wait, what?
What did she mean, she had wanted to suggest it? She wouldn't like that, would she? Spirits… did she want to try that? Spirits yeah! That was… incredible.
"R-really?" He needed to be sure! One hundred percent sure! If she just said that to do him a favour… Oh spirits… That would be horrible!
"Y-yeah! I wasn't too sure… how to ask you. I thought you would hate it." She answered. Aang quickly looked in her deep blue eyes, and his heart nearly stopped at the sight of the look in those beautiful eyes… A mixture between amusement, embarrassment… and… lust? Spirits, she was getting excited! He had seen that correctly!
"No! I thought you wouldn't like it actually!" He nearly laughed out loud.
She looked at him, with a played deadpanned look in her eyes, but Aang saw the small smile on her lips.
"Aang. Have you read the description next to it?"
Ah… Had he? No… not really. He had seen the image and his fantasy had been born…
"Ehm… yeah…" He lied.
"No, you didn't, did you?Let me tell you." She approached his ear, and whispered, "It seems to be one of the best things for the woman."
Alright, that did the trick. Aang was now sure he wouldn't be able to calm down… down there. Shit, he needed her. So very much. The airbender quickly pressed his lips against hers, and he heard a soft giggle come from her mouth as he began to kiss her. Spirits, he needed her…
He moved his lips over hers, and felt how Katara's body pressed against him. It was a bit awkward, as they were sitting next to each other, and his neck was bent in a weird position to be able to do this… But spirits, it felt so great…
Aang didn't exactly know how long he kissed her, but at a certain moment, she pulled back slightly, and he heard her soft breathing. Yeah… She probably needed more air than he did.
"Maybe… Maybe we can move inside the cave? There are probably hot springs there… That would be nice, no?" She whispered, looking him straight into the eyes.
Hot springs… With Katara… Yeah! Spirits yes! When he had been sleep deprived, they had visited another cave… Spirits, that had been a perfect place! Maybe there would be another pool in the one!
"Sure!" He scrambled up as fast as possible, letting the bag fall to the ground as he straightened.
A soft laugh.
Monkeyfeathers…
He had used that to hide… his own excitement.
"Someone is rather eager." Katara chuckled, as she stood up, much more gracefully than he had done. Aang cast a look down, and saw that there was a rather pronounced bulge in his trousers. With his old Fire Nation disguise, the vest concealment that part of his body rather well… But with the new tunic, the fabric went to the side… divulging his enthusiasm.
"For the warm pool, of course!" It slid off his tongue like nothing, but Aang was rather proud of his joke. That was much smoother than I would rather kiss you than die.
"Sure… Not for anything else?" Katara voice sounded… Inviting. Oh spirits, he was quite sure she was.. seducing? Oh, spirits let that be true.
"Come on, let's find a place in the cave… And then, we'll see." Katara took his hand and pulled him along. The airbender quickly glanced back towards their bags, but they were the only people on this island, except Toph and Sokka… No worry about their stuff. They could go back for it.
"Katara, we'll need light!" It was still early, but he didn't doubt that in the cave, it would quickly get dark.
"No, look, there is steam rising from the hill, through the cracks. Surely that means that the sunlight enters." She pointed above them, as they entered the cave. And surely enough, there was more than enough light.
Aang let himself be led through the tunnel, being pulled along by his hand by Katara. Was it just him, or was she pulling rather… forcefully? Like she was in a rush…
Oh spirits, let that be true.
The cave became a bit higher, and rounder, and there was a large cavernous space just in front of them.
With a pool, steaming.
Perfect!
"Here!" The waterbender released his hand, and turned around.
Well… Now they were getting to the awkward bit, where Aang was never really sure what to do. Was he supposed to just… strip? Or should he talk a bit? Or kiss her? Oh spirits, he really didn't know! It had just happened twice! The first time, Katara had been the first to strip down, and that had been in the dark! And the second time, they had just done it at the same time, in the light of a candle!
But this time… There was enough daylight streaming through the cracks to light up the whole space, and Aang was able to see Katara clearly, as if they were outside in the full sun! And… It would be interesting to see her… fully.
And of course, she would also be able to see him.
"Ehm… so…"
"No."
What? What no?
"No, no hesitation." Katara explained, and her voice sounded so sure.
"I'll try." Yes, hesitation had been something from before, during their travels through the Earth Kingdom. When they had danced around each other, without knowing exactly what the other thought. Now… Now, they were sure.
And this could very well be there last moment, alone. For the next day, the invasion force would arrive. And… And the day after that. Death and blood. Defeat or victory. But not now. No. Now was theirs. And she was right. Hesitation would lead them nowhere.
"I love you Aang. I always have, even when I wasn't sure." Katara suddenly whispered, standing close to him. He knew exactly why. Thinking of what was ahead… He also felt the need to be close to her. Quickly closing his arms around her, he pulled her into a hug.
"Mero mana, timro ho, mero premokura…. My Katara." The airbender whispered. It had been a long time that they hadn't practiced his language, but that was not important. They were going to have whole life to do that. He would make sure of that. He would end this war.
"I love you so much it hurts sometimes… And the only way to make sure that it doesn't is to feel you close to me." The waterbender murmured, and Aang felt the soft air of her breath against the exposed part of his chest.
"I… I know the feeling. I didn't know what it was, but I felt it ever since meeting you… It was only in Ba Sing Se, when shared that bedroom that I finally understood what it was. I love you Katara… And only you, for however long I live."
"Long. Very long." It didn't sound like a plea… rather, like a vow.
"I'll try!" He sniggered. The solemn feeling that had settled around them broke abruptly, due to his chuckle, and he heard the soft laughter from the waterbender.
"I'll hold you to that Aang. I have plans with you, and those take years. Decades. But… the plans I have ith you now, are simple. Get in the pool." Suddenly, he felt her hand pull at his tunic. Releasing her body from his arms, he took a step backwards, and began to remove his new tunic. That was not too difficult. With the heat of the last few weeks, whenever he could, he had walked around with a naked chest, and he had grown accustomed to that.
He let the fabric glide off his shoulder, neatly folding the piece of the clothing, and putting it on a small boulder. Turning around, he looked at Katara.
The waterbender stood on exactly the same place, and he saw how she was biting her lip, with a strange mixture in her eyes. Curiosity and… hunger?
"Can you keep up with the earthbending training?" She blurted out, and Aang suddenly realized why she had looked like that. She… Liked how he looked! The realization made him blush slightly, but most of all, the airbender felt a small part of his heart puff up in pride. That he was attractive to such a beautiful woman…
"Sure… If I don't, Toph will surely come and make me." He chuckled, but the laughter died slightly when he saw how Katara was beginning to undo the clasp of her dress.
"Ehm… Do you wear bindings again?" He asked, trying not to stutter.
"Yeah, why?" Her eyelids were half closed as she glanced towards him. Spirits, that look…
"Oh… well, I kind of liked the top of your disguise…"
Katara laugh sounded crystal clear in the cave.
"Easy access?"
"Spirits no! Well, yeah, but it… it showed more. Like, the bindings don't do you justice." He managed to say without stumbling too much over his words. It was true. Her bindings hid her chest, but the top of her Fire Nation clothes had forced her to forgo the bindings… making her show off more. And off course, that wasn't important… but he had liked it. A lot.
Her dress fell to the floor. She still wore trousers, but above the waist, there were only those linen bindings…
He quickly kicked off his boots, and with a look towards Katara to see if she wouldn't object, also pulled down his trousers. Now… only his underwear. From the corner of his eye, Aang could see Katara doing the same thing.
He looked up, seeing how she only wore her bindings now… Spirits, the contrast between the soft white fabric and her skin… it made his heart race for some reason.
"So… Into the pool?" He asked, but the airbender saw how Katara grinned, while shaking her head.
"No… I have another idea… how about, we don't wear anything and then go into the pool?"
"Skinny dipping? Seriously?" He laughed but felt his member twitch at the suggestion. That would be so good…
"Don't know how you are supposed to call it, but sure. I tried that… When I was having that fight with Toph. And I liked it so much that I decided to try again… But with you." She smiled, as her hands moved up to undo the knot in the upper bindings.
"Here, let me help." He had always wanted to do that… to actually undo them and pull them off her. The first time, he had not been able, because Katara had done it herself, and the second time, there hadn't been bindings to undo.
"Sure?" She asked, but Aang just moved and softly pulled her hands away from the linen. Finding the knot, he began to pull it apart. The bindings sagged a little as the pressure point came undone, and he found one of the extremities. With his right hand, he began to pull slightly at the fabric, and with his left, he softly touched her waist.
It surprised him each time how… the sense of knowing what to do just took over as soon as he touched her.
"Ready?" He whispered in her ear as the last bit of fabric came into sight. Katara nodded, and Aang quickly put his own forehead against hers. Then, he undid the bindings, which fell to the ground of the cave.
He didn't look down, but instead, gazed into those beautiful ocean blue eyes. Those gorgeous, expressive eyes, who were looking into his own, with that look that nearly made his heart stutter each time.
Should he… Should he try something? Like touching her breasts? It was still early, and they wanted to get into that pool… No, he should wait. Wait to see what she wanted to do.
"Now these." She murmured, and Aang felt her hand fumble with the waistband of his underwear. He quickly drew in some air as her hand grazed his clothed member, and immediately, she stopped, and looked him in the eyes.
"Is that alright?"
He nodded. Of course that was alright! Spirits that was wonderful!
Aang felt how his last piece of clothing fell to the ground, and, without taking his eyes off Katara's face, he moved his feet to step out of them. Yeah… His member was quite ready for action… But he would wait.
"And now…" The waterbender didn't finish her sentence, but Aang felt her hands between them. She was probably undoing her lower bindings… Spirits, he really wanted to look… But that could wait. They weren't in a rush, they didn't need to hide… They had the whole afternoon… And the whole night. Time enough for whatever they were going to do. And to draw it out as much as possible… It was kind of a thrill.
As he heard the bindings fall down, Aang realized that they were both finally naked… It had been two months. Or rather, six weeks and two days.
He hadn't kept count. Not at all.
"Come with me…" Katara whispered, and he felt a hand around his own fingers.
Yeah… That as going to happen. Oh, she meant, follow me.
