Episode 287: Meeting Chairman Rose
Where we last left off, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel explored more of the Wild Area. They found all sorts of items laying around and loads of berries. They stumbled on a cave and a chest of evolution stones. Fire Stones, Thunder Stones, Water Stones, Leaf Stones, Moon Stones, Sun Stones, Dawn Stones, Dusk Stones, Shiny Stones, and Ice Stones. There were more than they could count. Figuring that they could use some for such an occassion, the couple took their fill of the stones and exited the cave. the couple made an encounter withh a Pokémon they definitely familair to them. It was a Milcery. They remembered seeing with with Mallow's soon-to-be sister-in-law. Kairi remembered how cute she was.
"Now, there's a Pokémon we both know," Sora said.
"Milcery are so much cuter than I remember. To be honest, I kinda wanted one ever since I saw one. And it looks like I'm about to have one of my own!" Kairi said. She got out a Pokéball and threw it. "Come out, Snom!" Snom comes out to battle Milcery. "Snom! Powder Snow!" Snom fires Powder Snow at the creamy Pokémon and she gets hit. "Now use Struggle Bug!" Snom launches Struggle Bug and it hits Milcery on the spot. Milcery charges towards Snom with a Tackle. "Dodge it, Snom!" Snom slowly moved to dodge, but got hit by Milcery. "It's okay, Milcery! Use Struggle Bug again!" Snom unleashed Struggle Bug and it struck Milcery again. "Now use Powder Snow!" Snom fires Powder Sow and it hits Milcery, making her so cold. Kairi took out a Pokéball and threw it at the cream Pokémon and flows inside. Stars flows around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Kairi's Pokémon Box activates and it asks her if she wants to keep Milcery with her or send her to Professor Oak's lab. She chose to keep Milcery in exchange for Dottler. "Now, I have own Milcery."
"Eevee, vee!" Angel added.
"Nice catch!" Sora said.
"Thank you, Sora," Kairi said.
"So, what are you going to do with Milcery?" Sora asked.
"When we met Mallow's brother, Melody explained to me that Milcery can evolve into a Pokémon called a Alcremie when you spin one around while she's wearing a Sweet," Kairi said. Sora took out his Pokédex to get information on Milcery's evolved form.
"Let's see, Alcremie, let's see," Sora said, looking it up. The name Alcremie shows up and it Sora sees the image of a vaguely anthropoid Pokémon with a body composed of whipped cream. Its head resembles several dollops of whipped cream styled like hair, with a large crowning dollop flanked by two loop-like "bangs."Images displayed them into different colors and all have strawberries in its bangs.

Depending on the kind of Sweets it holds and the time of day, Milcer can evolve into a Alcremie based on the flavor and color it takes. The flavors Alcremie comes in are Vanilla Cream, Ruby Cream, Matcha Cream, Mint Cream, Lemon Cream, Salted Cream, Ruby Swirl Cream, Caramel Swirl Cream, and Rainbow Swirl.
"Now, that's something," Sora said. "And what tasty choices to choose from," Sora said.
"Pika, Pika," Pikachu said.
"And cute," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel added.
With that said, the couple kept looking for some Pokémon to catch before they reached a town. The couple made their way to a town known as Motosoke. Along the way, the couple spotted a Cufant, having a taste of an Oran Berry. Sora fturned to Kairi who dedcided that he should have this one.
"Go for it, Sora," Kairi said. She gave her boyfriend a kiss on the cheek for luck.
"Thanks for that, Kairi," Sora said. He took out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go right in, Scorbunny!" Scorbunny stood in front of the elephant Pokémon. "Double Kick!" Scorbunny jumped to deliever a Double Kick, but Cufant grabbed the rabbit Pokémon by the foot and swung him around. Cufant gave Scorbunny quite a throw and slams into the dirt. The rabbit Pokémon got back up on his feet and got ready to come back kicking. Scorbunny lands a Double Kick on the copperderm Pokémon. "Now, use Ember!" Scorbunny fires Ember and it struck Cufant. Sora takes out a Pokéball and threw it. Cufant flows inside and it wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around it to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box activates and it asks him if he wants to keep Cufant with him. He chose to send Cufant to Professor Oak's lab. "Another Galar Pokémon caught."
With Cufant caught, they finally made it the town known as Motosoke. They were amazed by the sights of the town. There were people and Pokémon everywhere they looked. There were some Pokémon living in the alleys as well, Toxel, both forms of Toxtricity, and Galarian Meowth as well. There were two Indeedee that were there as well. One was male and one was female. They hadn't eaten a thing in days and they were dirty. Just then, a gang of Galarian Meowth approached the Indeedee. They Galarian scratch cat Pokémon all had them trapped. The female screamed so loud. Luckily for them, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel heard them.
"Pikachu?" Pikachu asked.
"I heard it too, buddy," Sora said. Pikachu and Angel turned to see a pack of Galarian Meowth surrounding two Indeedee. "Al those Meowth are ganging up on those Indeedee!"
"That alley must be their territory," Kairi guessed. "We should help them," Kairi said.
"You're right," Sora agreed. "Those two won't last long by themselves." Soralooked at Pikachu as Kairi looked at Angel. They nod at their Pokémon as they go and face the attacking Meowth. Pikachu and Angel stood in front of them. The Galarian Meowth snarls at the Pokémon couple, hoping it'll scare them off, but they failed miserably. One of the swung at Pikachu, but he dodges and another comes to Angel, but she ducks. "Thunderbolt!"
"Use Swift!" Kairi ordered.
Pikachu fired Thunderbolt at them as Angel fires Swift. The Meowth weren't even close to giving up as they kept on fighting. The Indeedee were scared greatly.
"You two! Over here! Hurry!" Sora called out. The two Indeedee ran as fast as they could go. One of the Meowth wasn't going to let them go that easily, but then, a Boltund shows up to join the action.
"Boltund! Roar!" A woman ordered. The Boltund roars at the Galarian Meowth and it scares them away. "Good work as always, Boltund." The woman turns out to be Officer Jenny. She sets her attention on the couple. "Sending your Pokémon out like that very reckless. Those Meowth do not mess around."
"We're sorry, Officer Jenny," Kairi said. The policewoman was confused by how they knew her name.
"How do you know my name?" Officer Jenny asked.
"We meet several policewomen and their names were all Jenny," Sora said. Officer Jenny said.
"Oh, I get. You must have several of my relatives," Officer Jenny said. "Getting back at the matter at hand."
"Yeah, about that. It was because those Meowth were about to attack these two Indeedee, so we coudn't stand by and let them be attacked. She looked at the two Indeedee and she understood the situation.
"I understand the situation now. Your hearts were in the right place at the right time. But be careful with dealing with Pokémon like them in the near future, undserstand?" Officer Jenny asked.
"We understand, officer," Sora said. "And sorry. Anyway, you know where the Pokémon Center is? We were on our way when we met these two."
"I was going to suggest that you take them there anyway. Just take that road down there, and you'll see it," Officer Jenny pointing to the north.
"Thanks a lot," Sora said. "And we'll try not to find any more trouble."
"You didn't seem like bad kids, so I guess, I'll hold you to it. And be sure they get the best care," Officer Jenny said.
"We will," Sora said. The couple led the two Indeedee to the Pokémon Center to heal up and rest. Upon arriving, they were instantly recognized by the Nurse Joy working there.
"Oh my! Brian! Brianna! You don't look so good!" Nurse Joy exclaimed. Sora and Kairi had to assume she knew these two Indeedee.
"How do you know them, Nurse Joy?" Sora asked.
"Brian and Brianna were the maid and butler for the Winser Estate until their business went under just a week ago. Mr. Winser had passed away a week ago, and they had no place to go. Poor Brian and Brianna both became homeless and they been living in the streets," Nurse Joy said. Sora and Kairi felt sorry for them.
"Didn't Mr. Winser have any relatives to take them in?" Kairi asked.
Nurse Joy shook her head in sadness, "No. They had nowhere to go, and their Pokéballs were destroyed after they were realized. All of Mr. Winser's servants thought they could be fine out in the wild, but unfortunately, Brian and Brianna were born in the mansion, so they don't know anything about living in the wild. I'm afraid they won't survive out there on their own." Sora and Kairi felt even more sad for the homeless Indeedee, wanting to help them. Kairi got an idea.
"How would you react if we told you that they need a couple of trainers to take them in and give them a home?" Kairi suggested. Nurse Joy stroked her chin.
"I think that would be a wonderful idea. They'll need someone to take good care of them," Nurse Joy said. Sora knew what was on her mind.
"I'm with her, Kairi. Brian and Brianna would be happy with a pair of trainers. Someone to help them in the right direction," Sora said. Brian and Brianna both beamed at the thought of a new home. Sora went up to them. "You're going to love it back in Kanto. Trust me. But after Nurse Joy had a good look at you and a full belly."
"Along with our other Pokémon, please," Kairi said, taking the Pokéballs containing Morpeko, Flapple, Appletun, Snom, and Milcery. Sora took the Pokéballs containing Rookidee, Grookey, Scorbunny, Sobble, and the Galarian Farfetch'd. Nurse Joy smiled and beamed.
"Of course," Nurse Joy said. She turned to her own Indeedee. "Louise, could you see that they all recieve the best care?"
"Deedee," Louise said. She led Pikachu, Angel, and the two Indeedee as she carried Kairi's other Pokéballs as another female Indeedee took Sora's with her. After a few minutes waiting, all of the Pokémon were fighting fit, even Brian and Brianna. Kairi had made some Pokémon food for all of them. Brian and Brianna wolfed down the food like they were in a hurry. Sora and Kairi couldn't blame them since they haven't eaten a thing in days.
"Eat as much as you want, you two. I have plenty to go around," Kairi said. Once they had eaten their fill, they wiped off their faces with napkins as they remembered their etiquette. They were lucky no one of consequences was around to see them.
"It might have been the stuff they might have been feeding you, but Kairi's Pokémon food is the best that you have ever eaten. Ask Pikachu and Angel," Sora said. Brian and Brianna agreed since it was different from what they were fed before. "So, how would you like to be our Pokémon from now on? What do you say, Brian? You could go far with me."
"Pika, Pika," Pikachu said.
"And so can you, Brianna. Not only that, but you can have a new home and you can have lots of new friends. And I'm sure they'll be very happy to meet you," Kairi added.
"Eevee," Angel said.
Brian and Brianna were happy to be taken in by new trainers and given a new home. They looked at each other and they accepted the offer.
"Looks like they made their choice. Anyway, my name's Sora and this Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel," Sora said. He took out a pen and small piece of paper and wrote down "Hello, my name is Brian" on one as he wrote down "Hello, my name is Brianna" on another piece and handed their introductions to them. The couple each took out a Pokéball for each one of them and the Indeedee tapped the buttons on the Pokéballs and they flow inside. Their Pokémon Boxes activates and they ask them if they want to keep their new Indeedee with them. They chose to send them to Professor Oak's lab.
Over to Pallet Town, Professor Oak was fortunate to meet some new Pokémon sent by Sora and Kairi.
"Oh my, oh my, Sora and Kairi had sent me a couple more new Pokémon coming my way. What did they send this time?" Professor Oak asked, getting eager. The Pokéballs opens and they both came out. "Two Indeedee, one being male and one being female." Professor Oak saw they were holding something in their hands. "Now what do you have there? Is that for me?" Brian nodded and handed the note to the professor. "Hm, so your name is Brian. And what about you?" Brianna handed it to him. "Brianna, is it? Well, it's very nice to meet you both. I'm sure you are anxious to meet your new friends, aren't you?" Brian and Brianna both nodded. He laughs. "Well, come right this way. They'll be most thrilled to meet you both." Professor Oak led the Indeedee outside and he introduced them to Sora and Kairi's other Pokémon. Brian and Brianna were both welcomed right away.
Back in the Motosoke Pokémon Center, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel headed to a local café known as the Battle Café, which is a chain of cafés all round the Galar region. As they entered, they approached the chef as he greeted them with a happy smile.
"Well, hello there, kids. Welcome to the Battle Café. What can I do for you?" The chef asked.
"I was wondering if I could have a Sweet for my Milcery? I was told that a Milcery can evolve into a Alcremie when holding one," Kairi said.
"Of course. You are free to choose which ones you like the most," the chef said, presenting the sweets to her. "The choices are Strawberry, Berry, Love, Clover, Flower, Star, or Ribbon." Kairi couldn't decide on which one since she liked all of them.
"Oh, I can't decide, they're all so cute. What do you think, Sora?" Kairi asked. Sora stroked his chin.
"Maybe you should see what Milcery thinks. Let her see which one she likes the most," Sora suggested. Kairi liked the idea.
"Good thinking," Kairi took out her Pokéball and lets Milcery out. "Okay, Milcery, how about you see which one of these you like the best." Milcery looked at the sweets. She points the Love Sweet. "You like the Love Sweet?" Milcery nodded.
"I think that's a very good choice," the chef said, giving it to the cream Pokémon. "Here you go, little one." Milcery beamed at the heart-shaped Sweet on her head.
"Say thank you to the nice man, Milcery," Kairi said.
"Mil, Milcery, Mil," Milcery chirped. The chef smiled.
"You are very welcome, Milcery," the chef said.
"And thank you, and that's from me," Kairi said.
"And you're welcome as well, my dear. Is there anything else I can get you kids?" The chef asked.
"We would like to have two slices of strawberry shortcake for the both of us and some thing sweet for our Pikachu and Eevee as well," Sora placed his order.
"Sure thing, son. Anything to drink?" The chef asked.
"Two glasses of Moomoo Milk to go with the cake," Sora said.
"Of course, little sir," the chef said. Sora paid for the purchase. "If you want to have your Milcery evolve right away, you could have her spin around clockwise."
"Thanks again," Kairi said as the couple sat down. Milcery spins around as the Love Sweet starts glowing and then Milcery started to evolve. Milcery had become an Alcremie. She had become a Vanilla Cream Alcremie with the Love Sweets worn in her bangs. "Look at how adorable you are. I am so glad we came here, Sora."
"And it's a good thing Nurse Joy told us about Sweets. I guess she wanted to do something nice for us since saving Brian and Brianna from the gutter," Sora said.
"I'm glad that were able to help them out," Kairi said.
"Must be nice to help someone on need," a girl's voice spoke. The couple turned to see a slim young girl with emerald green eyes, dark black hair, and very pale skin. She has a strange hairstyle, with a partially shaved side, tufts of hair that resemble horns, and messy twin-tails tied with red ribbons. Her bangs are also on her right side and partially cover her eye. She wore a studded black Gothic jacket, a pink mini dress with triangular holes cut into the bottom, and matching black and pink boots with sharply spiked heels, three large studs, and an upwards pointed toe. For accessories, she wore a black choker around her neck with a circle and three spikes outside of it, along with a red diamond-shaped ear piercing. She also carries around a small red backpack that matches her hair ribbons. A Morpeko is sitting beside her. "Hearts of gold must shine very bright." She turned to see the couple looking at her. "I was just talking to myself."
"Didn't mean to pry, just we didn't think someone to eavesdrop on our conversation," Sora said.
"You're not prying. I just got caught up in your talk," the girl said.
"It happens. Anyway, I'm Sora and this is my girlfriend Kairi," he introduced.
"Hi," Kairi greeted. "This little Eevee is Angel."
"Eevee," Angel said.
"My name's Marnie. And this is Morpeko, my partner and best friend," Marnie introduced.
"Peko," Morpeko chirped.
"Nice to meet you. Would you like to sit with us?" Kairi offered. Marnie didn't want to be rude, so sat down with the couple.
"Thank you," Marnie said as she and her Morpeko joined them. A Galarian Mr. Mime came and delivered the cake slices and Moomoo Milk with its psychic powers. Sora and Kairi told her that they came down to the Galar region for a vacation from the Kanto region, and catch some Pokémon as well. "I thought you didn't look like you're from around here. Also, I never met trainers from the Kanto region before." Marnie then realized something when she heard Sora say his and Kairi's names in the introduction. "Wait, Sora? As in Sora Ketchum? The same Sora Ketchum who recently won the Pokémon League in the Hoenn region?"
"That's me," Sora said.
"And I'm going to guess, you're that Pokémon Coordinator who won the Hoenn Grand Festival. I didn't expect to bump into such famous trainers," Marnie admitted.
"Yeah, well, don't spread it around, because we're trying not to draw too much attention ourselves," Sora said.
"We both seem to have an act for doing that without trying," Kairi said.
"I understand. The last thing you need are screaming fans mobbing you when you're on vacation," Marnie said. "My brother would feel the same way if he was in your shoes."
"Since you have a Morpeko, you must be a trainer. What about your brother? He a trainer too?" Kairi asked.
"Yes. He's one of the Gym Leaders here and he specializes in Dark Type Pokémon," Marnie said. Her smartphone goes off and she answers the text sent to her. "And he's making contact with me now. Sorry to take off like this. It was nice meeting you. And enjoy your vacation." Marnie takes her leave. Sora and Kairi didn't know Marnie long, but they had already taken a shine to her.
After they had their fill of cake, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel continued on their tour of Motosoke right until nightfall. After a night's worth of sleep, the couple took their leave of Motosoke and decided to check out the rest of the Galar region. Just outside the town, there was a Rolycoly that came and attacked. They ducked before the coal Pokémon could land a hit.
"Feeling lucky, Rolycoly? So am I!" Sora stated, taking out Sobble's Pokéball. "Sobble! Go!" Sobble comes out to battle. "Water Gun!" Sobble fired Water Gun at Rolycoly, but steam has come out of its body. Rolycoly tackled Sobble even faster than before. "What was that?" Sora looked up Rolycoly's data on his Pokédex and saw an ability called Steam Engine. "So, that's it. Rolycoly's speed goes up when hit by Water or Fire Type attacks." It struck him. Rolycoly is weak against Grass Type attacks since just being a Rock Type. Sora calls back Sobble and takes out Grookey's Pokéball. "You're going in, Grookey!" He threw it and Grookey comes out. "Grookey! Branch Poke!" Grookey charged at Grookey and lunged his stick at Rolycoly, but the coal Pokémon dodges due to the increased speed. Rolycoly then comes at Grookey and lands a hit. "Use Razor Leaf when you have perfect timing!" Grookey waited for the right moment to use Razor Leaf. Rolycoly then comes down at the grass monkey Pokémon. Grookey fires Razor Leaf and lands a successful hit. Rolycoly fell to the ground as Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it. Rolycoly flows inside it as it starts to wobble around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box activates and it asks him if he wants to keep Rolycoly with him or send it to Professor Oak's lab. He chose to send Rolycoly to Professor Oak's lab. "Glad that's over." He turned to his girlfriend. "You okay, Kairi?"
"Yes. Always when I'm with you," Kairi said, giving her boyfriend a deserved kiss on the lips. After catching Rolycoly, the couple made a stop by a coal mine entrance to rest their feet. Kairi had prepared a couple of sandwiches for them, when a Sizzlipede went to take Sora's sandwich. Sora took a bite when Sizzlipede got close enough, but Pikachu smacks the fire centipede Pokémon Sora saw the Sizzlipede in front of Pikachu.
"A Sizzlipede! What does it want?" Sora asked.
"I think he's picking a fight with Pikachu," Kairi said.
"Then, he's got one! Pikachu! Quick Attack!" Sora ordered. Pikachu ran at Sizzlipede and lands a hit. Sizzlipede fires Ember at the mouse Pokémon. "Dodge it!" Pikachu dodges Ember another Quick Attack. "Now, use Thunderbolt!" Pikachu fires Thunderbolt and and gave Sizzlipede quite a shock. Sora takes out a Pokéball and threw it at Sizzlipede. The radiator Pokémon flows inside and the Pokéball wobbles around and around. Stars swirls the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box activates and it asks him if he wants to keep Sizzlipded with him. He chose to send Sizzlipede over to Professor Oak's lab. "Good job, Pikachu."
"Pika," Pikachu said.
The couple heard the sound of clapping and they turned to see tall and handsome tan-skinned man with black hair, green eyes, and neatly trimmed facial hair. Despite his svelte appearance, he also has a round, portly belly (although it's barely visible when he wears his regular attire). Clothing-wise, he has one ear pierced and usually wears a sharp gray business suit, as befits his status and wealth. His suit consists of a gray vest with numerous black buttons, a gray overcoat with a single gold button, a white shirt, and a red tie. He also wore classy gray pants that match his suit, along with a gold and black belt, pointed red and black shoes, and a gold watch. With him is a tall andslender woman with fair skin, green eyes, and long blonde hair. She wore a long white coat, a red blouse, a black pencil skirt, sheer grey pantyhose, and matching black high heels. For accessories, she wore a black choker, hoop earrings, and a bracelet. She also has red lipstick as well as red painted fingernails.
"Very impressive, young man. Very impressive indeed," the man said.
"Um, thanks," Sora said.
"I simply must say that you have raised your Pikachu exceptionally well. You obviously have potential as a Pokémon trainer. Your Pikachu's speed is incredible. The fastest I have seen in all my years. You remind me of a certain trainer I know all too well. But before I start rambling, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ros. I am the president of Marco Cosmos, and I own this coal mine," the man said. "And this is my trusted secretary Oleana."
"How do you do," Oleana spoke. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel were shocked to see that the man is the owner of the coal mine they were sitting by and they feared he was going to be angered that they were accidentally trespassing.
"W-W-W-We're sorry for coming here. We didn't know you own this place. We were only making a stop here and-" Sora said, before Rose raised his hand.
"Now, now, my young friends, you owe me no apology. I was only stopping by when your battle with that Sizzlipede has caught my attention. Now, since I have introduced myself, I would like you to return the introduction. It is rude not to introduce one's self after one has already been made," Rose said. He was so polite. Sora and Kairi were relieved that he wasn't angery, so they had to introduce themselves.
"My name is Sora Ketchum," Sora introduced.
"And my name is Kairi. And this Eevee is Angel," Kairi introduced.
"A pleasure to meet you, Mr. Ketchum. I must say that it is an extreme honor to meet the world famous Pokémon League Champion. I have watched your battles since the Indigo Plateau and I can tell that you are a gifted Pokémon trainer," Rose said. He turned to Kairi. "And you, miss Kairi. I was mighty impressed by your victory in the Grand Festival. And I was watching your Contests with great interest."
"Thank you, Mr. Rose," Kairi said.
"I don't mean to pry, but what brings you both into our beautiful Galar region?" Rose asked.
"Well, sir, my girlfriend and I are here on vacation, so we came here for some fun. Also, catching some of the Pokémon living here in the Galar region," Sora said. Rose chuckled.
"I see. Perhaps you two would like to join me for dinner this evening. I was on my way to Wyndon, so I thought I would show you what the city has to offer," Rose said. "And after that, I can indulge you with Galar's finest dishes."
"Oh, we don't want to be a bother," Kairi said.
"Oh, but I insist," Rose said. The couple looked at each other and had to consider the offer.
"I guess we can join up for dinner," Sora said.
"Wonderful!" Rose said with glee. He turned to Oleana, "Oleana, Make the proper arrangements for our honeored guests." Oleana took out her smartphone.
"Already ahead of you, sir," Oleana said.
"I could always count on you." Rose said. "In the meantime, I suggest taht you explore the city and see its wonders."
"Thank you," Sora said.
Chariman Rose and Oleana led the Kanto trainers to a taxi carried by a Corviknight. It didn't nearly long to reach Wyndon. The couple were amazed by the sight of the city and the stadium along with it.
"I'll meet you both at the stadium this evening. Don't be late," Rose said.
"We'll try not to," Sora said.
With that said, Rose returned to his business for the day as the couple eplored the city. It was very amazing. They saw all sorts of People and Pokémon just like with Motosoke. They looked at the amazing sights. As they were walking down the streets, they bump by a mask that looked like a Galarian Corsola's motiff. He has black hair and purple eyes under the mask. He was wearing a black ragged cloak. With him is a Gengar. He turned and sees them.
"Excuse me," the boy said.
"No problem," Sora said. Sora tilted his head as the masked boy kept going his own way. The couple made some stops and did some shopping for Galarian clothes as well for souvenirs for their friends and families. Just when they were taking off, a Galarian Corsola is a scuffle against two Toxtricity, one being Amped and one being Low Key.
"I gotta help that poor Corsola!" Kairi said.
"I'll have to get their attention," Sora said. Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it. "Scorbunny! Go!" Scorbunny came out to battle and Sora turned to Pikachu. "You go in too, Pikachu."
"Pika," Pikachu said. The mouse and rabbit Pokémon get their attention and taunts them. Angered, the two Toxtricity forgets about the Galarian Corsola and went after them. Kairi threw her Pokéball at the Galarian Corsola and flows inside it. The Pokéball wobbles around for a bit and stars swirls around it to confirm the catch. Kairi's Pokémon Box activates and she decided to keep her new Corsola with her in exchange for Alcremie. As for the two Toxtricity, they trap Pikachu and Scorbunny between them They come running at each other as Pikachu and Scorbunny jumped and they ran into each other. The two Toxtricity were knocked out as Sora took out two Pokéballs and threw them. They flow inside the Pokéballs and they wobble around and around. Stars swirls around them to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box activates and he decides to send them both to Professor Oak's lab.
"Wow, I didn't tell them to do anything and they knocked each other out," Sora said. Once again, applase came, but it was from the local people who were watching the event. "Heh, thanks very much, everyone. Glad you enjoyed the show. It was a real knock out." Sora pats the rodent Pokémon on their heads. "Good work, you guys."
With that done, they got a little lost getting to the stadium, but thanks to some helpful people, they manged to make it just in time for a white limousine to come driving in. The side window lowers to show Oleana sitting in. The chauffeur steps out of the driver's seat and opens it.
"Please come and have a seat," the chauffer said. The couple got in as they rode on. It was a quiet ride as Oleana stares at the both of them. They arrived at Rose Tower and led them to what looks like a fance resturant, only no one else was in it. Rose waved to them.
"Sora and Kairi. Please, have a seat," Rose said as they sat in the same table as the waiter had given them some juice as Rose had wine. "I trust that you are enjoying your stay in Galar."
"Very much," Kairi said.
"We only heard about it at first, but we never been here until we got here days ago," Sora said.
"Then, I trust your first visit would be a memorable one," Rose said. He glances to Sora's necklace. "That is an intersting necklace. I believe I have seen something this before." This surprises Sora. "Has it belonged to your father?"
"Y-Yes. It belonged to him when he was a kid and it belonged to his dad before him," Sora said.
"If memory serves, it is a symbol of knighthood. That is a story I have heard from another when I was a boy. He said that the people viewed the boys as knights in the days of old. A fascinating tale," Rose said.
"Yeah, that's what my mom told me when I was little," Sora said. "I had it for as long I can remember."
"Didn't your father give it to you at a young age?" Rose asked. Sora shook his head.
"No. I never knew him. He died just three months before I was born. He died in a car accident," Sora said.
"Oh, I am sorry to hear that. But I am certain that he would be proud of your accomplishments, especially that they are not so easily obtained. Very impressive," Rose said.
"I'm sure he would," Sora said. The waiters brought the dishes to the couple and they were amazed by the meals presented to them. "Whoa." Kairi was amzed by the meal present ed to them. They took a bite of their dinner and they found the taste amazing. "Man, if Sophocles was here, he would be in heaven." Rose was looking out the window.
"What a lovely view," Rose said. "Each and every one of these lights houses countless lives and dreams. You may not believe this, but when I was a boy, I have lived in poverty. That was until Galar has lifted me out of poverty and led me into my current life. And I intend to do everything within my power, in order for this marvelous view to last a thousand years." He looked back to Sora. "Now then, Sora. I have requested your presence here for a reason. This may surprise you, but I am the chairman, not only of Marco Cosmos, but also of the Galar region's Pokémon League. And I strive to guide talented trainers such as yourself and another named Leon. I would support a strong trainer like you with everything I have. I am requesting that you stand by my side as well, and make Galar even greater than before."
"You should feel honered that you're getting such an honor from Chairman Rose," Oleana said. Kairi looked to Sora who is thinking.
"Sora?" Kairi asked.
"That's a great offer, but I'm going have to pass," Sora said. Rose was surprised by this. "I think it's a good deal, but it's not for me. Don't get me wrong, but I'm flattered. But the thing is, I plan on seeing the world and see all sorts of Pokémon and get strong along the way," Sora said. Rose smiled.
"I see. I understand. If that is your decision, then I will respect your wishes," Rose said.
"Thank you for understanding, sir," Sora said. Oleana was steamed that Sora had turned down an offer from Chairman Rose, yet the chairman himself is being so calm.
After the meal was finished, the couple were showed into a room with two seperate beds. They looked out the window watched the lights outside.
"It's so pretty," Kairi said.
"Yes, it is," Sora agreed. She turned to her boyfriend.
"I can't believe you turned down Rose's offer like that. And on top of that, he was so nice about it," Kairi said.
"Me neither. But, it's Oleana who seems to be steamed though," Sora said.
"Yeah, she did look really intimidating when you turned him down," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Yeah, I noticed. Anyway, this has been such a great vacation," Sora said.
"I know. The most fun I have ever had, because I'm sharing it with you," Kairi said. Sora pus his arms around his girlfriend.
"I'm happy that you're having a good time, Kairi. Because I always have a good time with you," Sora said. "I love you."
"I love you too," Kairi said as they kiss each other on the lips. They climbed into their beds and they blew kisses to each other before Kairi turns the ights off as Pikachu and Angel snuggled close together.
Another day in the Galar region has passed and soon they will head back to Alola. How will the meeting the otherworldly visitors go? That is a chapter for another time.
