Episode 289: Alola Alola Again!
During the plane ride, Kairi slept soundly on Sora's shoulder as Angel slept on Kairi's lap. The plane made its landing and Sora gently wakes his girlfriend up.
"Kairi, wake up," Sora said. She stirred awake and lets out a light yawn as did Angel.
"Did we land yet?" Kairi asked.
"We did. We're back in Alola," Sora said.
"Pi, Pikachu!" Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Oh, I can hardly wait to see everyone's faces again," Kairi said.
"Same here. I can already imagine Sophocles crying his eyes out seeing us again," Sora said.
"I'm thinking the same for Mallow and Lana again," Kairi said.
The couple departed from the plane and they were happy to set foot in the Alola region once again.
"The Alola region. It's even more peaceful here than I remember," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"It's been so long, it feels like it's been years," Kairi said. Kairi bent down to Angel. "This your first time in Alola, isn't it, Angel?"
"Vee," Angel nodded.
"You're going to love it here, Angel. Our old travel companions all live here," Kairi said, picking Angel in up in her arms. "Anyway, isn't Professor Kukui supposed to meet us here?"
"He said he was going to meet up with us after we got off," Sora said. He, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel departed from the airport and spotted Professor Kukui standing by his jeep waiting for Sora and Kairi to come back "And there he is! Professor Kukui!" The young professor spotted them and he smiled warmly.
"Sora, Kairi. Alola! Welcome back!" Professor Kukui greeted.
"Alola, Professor Kukui," Sora and Kairi greeted.
"How is everyone doing these days?" Sora asked.
"Well, as you know, everyone had started building their Gyms for the Pokémon League I have set up here. Riku and his Eevee had returned shortly after you won the Hoenn Pokémon League. Speaking of Hoenn, I just wanted to say congratulations to you both; Sora winning the League and Kairi for winning the Grand Festival," Professor Kukui said.
"Anyway, where are Illima and the others right now?" Sora asked.
"They're probably at their Gyms right now, but I think we should have a swing over to my house. It'll be more better if everyone all show up at once," Professor Kuki suggested.
"That's a great idea, professor. Everyone sure will be surprised to see us," Sora said.
"Oh, you'll be in a surprise too," Professor Kukui said under his breath.
"What did you say, professor?" Kairi asked. Professor Kukui stammered when he was trying to cover up.
"Nothing really. They just made me promse not to say anything until they get there. Now, let's get a move on," Professor Kukui said as they entered the jeep.
They reached Professor Kukui's house. He led the couple to the house and saw Professor Burnet and their infant son in her arms.
"Alola, Professor Burnet," Sora greeted.
"Alola, Sora. Alola, Kairi. It's been pretty long since we saw each other in person," Professor Burnet said.
"It does feel like it's been years," Sora said. He spotted the baby in her arms. "And I'm going to guess that's the little guy, hm?"
"It is. This is Lei. Lei, meet Sora and Kairi," Professor Burnet said.
"Oh, he's so adorable," Kairi cooed. Kairi placed her hand in front of Lei as he felt her hand. Sora looked at his girlfriend with a smile.
"I said it before, but I'll say it again, Kairi will make a great mom, one day," Sora said in his thoughts. Sora was picturing her with a baby of her own someday. Professor Kukui made a phone call for each of the Alola nine to come on down.
Over at Riku's house, Naminé bonded with Yuna ever since Riku brought her to meet her again. Riku's Hoenn Pokémon quickly became adjusted to their new home and everything. Shortly after Riku showed his girlfriend his house, he showed her around the town and island he grew up on. There were a lot of people who knew him ever since he was a little kid.
Not only that, but Riku and Naminé were surprised to meet the Mane Seven, Time Man, Spike, Oil Man, the Kongs, Dindodile, Hunter, Bianca, Shiela, Sgt. Byrd, Bentley, and Agent 9 for the first time. Lillie was also shocked. They filled him in about a dimensional rift, the same kind that brought Team Choatix to their world.
When he asked them if they knew Team Choatix, some of them shrugged their shoulders while Applejack told him that they didn't know him. Riku was shocked that Sunset Shimmer knows about Riku's past when she looked into his memories just by touch. She saw his life in Alola, right to the battle with Faba to rescue Lillie, to when Nihilego abducted Lusamine and then merged with her, to when when Riku left for Kanto to find some trainers to battle, to when he met Sora and Kairi, and when his old classmates started travelling with him, to the Indigo Plateau, to his journey in Johto, to the battle with Rasputin, Rasputin's death, and right to when they arrived in Hoenn, right up to the battle with Team Magma and Team Aqua, witnessing the submarine's destruction, resulting in Jessie and James's demise, and right up to the Grand Festival and the Hoenn Pokémon League. WHen she explained it was because of the goedes they all have. Riku and Naminé were were amazed by their magic along with some of the locals.
"Riku!" Yuna called from the living room. Riku and Eevee came down from his room and down the stairs.
"What is it, mom?" Riku asked.
"Professor Kukui just called. He said he wants to see you in his lab. He said it's important," Yuna said. Riku did know Professor Kukuii wouldn't call for him unless it was important, and it had to be important. He had to wonder if it was about the otherwordly visitors.
"I think Eevee and I will have to head there," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
"I think I better come along. I just wanted to see their baby again," Naminé admitted. She took a shine to the professors' baby since she first saw him.
"Then let's get a move on," Riku said. He, Naminé, Eevee, and Azurill headed down to Professor Kukui's house to see what was so important. The Alolan nine, aloong with the Mane Seven, Spike, Time Man, Oil Man, Dingodile, the Kongs, Hunter, Bianca, Shiela, Sgt. Byrd, Bentley, and Agent 9 all came to their old teacher's house, hoping that they was a clue to help them. They met up with Riku, Naminé, Eevee, and Azurill at the entrance.
"You got his call too, didn't you? What do you think it's about?" Riku asked.
"We don't know to tell the truth," Acerola said.
"We were just to told to come right over," Sophocles said,
"And that's what we did," Hapu said.
"I hope Professor Kukui has a clue about how to get us all home," Fluttershy said.
"Same here. I got a diner to rebuild," Dingodile said.
"And we got Spyro to look for," Hunter said.
"Then, let's go in and see," Illima said. He knocked on the door as Professor Kukui opened the door. "Alola, Professor Kukui."
"Alola, everyone. And you all came just in time," Professor Kukui said.
"So, what's so important that some of us from other islands had to come and see?" Hapu asked.
"Why don't you come in and see for yourselves," Professor Kukui said.
"Ooh! Is it a surprise?"! Pinkie Pie asked. Professor Kukui laughed.
"Finding out just by seeing it is much better than having to tell it," Professor Kukui said. As soon as everyone got inside, he had to give the signal. "NOW!" Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel all jumped out of their hiding places.
"ALOLA!" Sora and Kairi shouted as they jumped out. The faces of the Alolan nine all lit up when they saw them again after leaving for home.
"Sora! Kairi!" Eight of the Alolan nine all said with so much happiness.
"Illima, Kiawe, Sophocles!" Sora said.
"Mallow, Lana, Acerola, Mina, Hapu!" Kairi said.
"We missed you guys," Sora said. "Reading those letters you sent us made us wish that you were right there with us."
"Same here, Sora," Sophocles said.
"We heard from Lillie about your adventures in he Hoenn region and that you caught your share of the local Pokémon living there," Kiawe said.
"And we got some more to share," Sora said asn he noticed their other friends. He recognized seven of them. "Wait a minute. Twilight? Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity?" He looked down to the dog. "And is that supposed to be Spike?"
"You know our names, darling, but the thing is, we're not the ponies that you met in Earthland," Rarity said.
"You mean, you came in from a dimesnional rift too?" Sora asked.
"Yes, we did. Lillie filled us in on the situation on three others you met before," Sunset Shimmer said. "You don't know me, but I know about you. I'm Sunset Shimmer." Sora and Kairi definitely heard that name from the Alolan nine after their Earthland experience.
"Sunset Shimmer? You mean Princess Celestia's student before Twilight?" Sora asked.
"Yes. And I just want to say that I am not proud about what I did before Princess Twilight made me see the error of my ways," Sunset Shimmer said.
"It's okay. We know a certain someone who saw the error of their ways," Sora said, thinking about Meowth. "Anyway, who're these guys?"
"Right, you haven't met them yet," Sunset Shimmer said.
"G'Day, mates, the name's Dingodile," he introduced.
"I'm Chunky Kong and this little guy here is my little brother Kiddy Kong. The girl here is Tiny Kong, and the other one is Lanky Kong," Chunky introduced.
"The name's Oil Man, the walking stopwatch here is Time Man," Oil Man introduced. Time Man huffed.
"Walking stopwatch? How humorous," Time Man said. That made Sora and Kairi laugh when he called him that.
"The name's Hunter and this is my girlfriend Bianca," Hunter introduced.
"Hey," Bianca said.
"I'm Shila."
Sgt. Byrd did a salute like he was in the military.
"Sgt. James Byrd, 90068! Reporting for duty, sir!" Sgt. Byrd introduced.
"You should save that kind of talk for the army," Sora said.
"My name is Bentley, and it is apleasure to finally meeting you," Bentley said.
"And the name's Agent 9 and blasting Rhynocs is my game! Too bad that there aren't any Rhyocs to blast, but it's okay, because I get some plenty of target practice, wanting to blast some bad guys and kicking their butts!" Agent 9 said as he laughed like a mad man. Chunky grabs the Hyperactive monkey.
"Take a chill pill, Agent 9. And give that itchy trigger of yours a rest," Chunky said.
"Sorry about him, he's a bit on the hyper side," Bentley said.
"That looked like more than a bit," Hapu said.
"Anyway, were you watching us on TV?" Sora asked.
"Yes we were, and it was so awesome!" Rainbow Dash said.
"Your perfomrance during the Grand Festival were siply marvelous!" Rarity said.
"Thanks," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said. The Alolan girls eyed the Eevee with her.
"I'm going to guess that's Angel, isn't it?" Mallow asked.
"Yes. I caught her shortly after the Fallarbor Contest. She and Pikachu are a cople, just like we are," Kairi said. Lana picked up Angel.
"Alola, Angel, it's good to finally meet you," Lana said.
"Look at that, the pink ribbon makes her even cuter," Mallow said.
"Yeah," Mina agreed.
"Angel's even cuter than Lillie told us," Acerola said.
"Angel's not the only one, we got. How about we all step outside and we can show you what we caught in the Galar region," Sora said. Everyone all stepped outside just so they can see. "Okay! Grookey, Scorbunny, Sobble, Rookidee, Farfetch'd! Come on out!" Sora's Galarian Pokémon all came out to greet them. Kairi hurled her Pokéballs in the air.
"Morpeko! Flapple, Appletun, Corsola, Gossifleur! Come out out and meet everyone!" Kairi called out as all of her Galarian Pokémon had come out as well. Riku, Naminé, the Alolan nine and their otherwordly friends were amazed by what they were seeing.
"Wow, Grookey! Gossifleur! Flapple! Appletun! So cute!" Mallow cooed.
"And a Sobble, also cute!" Lana cooed.
"Not only that, a a Rookidee, a Morpeko, and a Galarian Corsola and Farfetch'd. Never seen any of these before," Riku said.
"That one don't look right. It's all pale," Dingodile said. The Galarian Corsola's eyes flashed yellow, making him flinch.
"The Galarian Corsola is a Ghost Type," Acerola said. "I never saw one before until now." Lana took out her Lure Ball and shows them the difference between the two Corsola.
"The Cosola I have is a Water Type and a Rock Type," Lana said. Lana's Corsola got excited meeting another Corsola, even though she was different from the Corsola she was familiar with. She makes an attempt to tackle her Galarian cousin when the Galarain Corsola turned and glared at her, but Lana's Corsola nuzzles her Galarian counterpart.
"I also have another Cosrola of my own and I know your Cosola and my other Corsola will be fast friends, just like with this one is," Kairi said.
"Oh, I'm so jealous, because I want a Galarian Corsola of my own," Acerola pouted. Eeryone all laughed.
"I can see that's one thing that hasn't changed," Sora said.
"Acerola's love for ghosts is what I missed about her," Kairi said.
Scorbunny looked around to the unfamiliar surroundings and he wondered what the rest of the world must be like. Scorbunny then sets his sights on the femals anthromorphic rabbit and hearts forms at the eyes. Scorbunny was captivated by Bianca's beauty.
"I'm in love!" - Scorbunny subtitle. Scorbunny went over to Bianca and hugged her by the leg.
"Um, hi," Bianca greeted. Scorbunny nuzzles her leg.
Grookey was baging on the ground with his stick as Spike went up to the chimp Pokémon.
"You gonna throw that or what?" Spike asked with his tail wagging. Grookey shook his head at the dog. "Aw, come on! Just throw the stick! Throw the stick, because I wanna play fetch!" Grookey ran up a tree a blew a raspberry at the dog, making him bark. "You gotta come down, sometime, monkey!" Grookey blew another raspberry. A n Alolan Rattata growls at the chimp Pokémon, but it down on the ground. The Alolan Rattata climbed back up to get Grookey as Spike barks at the mouse Pokémon. Grookey jumped off as the Alolan Ratta chases after Grookey. This catches the attention of everyone.
"Grookey, come on, this is no time to mess around!" Sora said. The Alolan Ratta came at Grookey with a Bite ready. "Grookey! Branch Poke!" Grookey gave the Alolan Rattata a poke and that just made it angry. The Alolan Ratta comes towards Grookey with a Quick Attack. "Dodge and use Scratch!" Grookey jumped and lands a Scratch on the Alolan mouse Pokémon. Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it. The Alolan Ratta flows inside and the Pokéball wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box activates and it asks him if he wants to keep the Alolan Rattata with him. He chose to send the Alolan Ratta over to Professor Oak's lab. The otherwordly visitors were amazed by what they saw.
"So, that's how it's done," Twilight said.
"What's that thing?" Sophocles asked, noticing Sora's Pokémon Box.
"You mean this? I got this when Kairi and I were in the Galar region," Sora said as Kairi shows them all hers as well. Sora shows them how it's done. I choose which one I want with me and I make the same exchange, like I did with my Pokédex." Sora shows them the Pokémon that he has so far. Pikachu to the Alolan Rattata.
"I'm so jealous that Sora got such a new toy to have," Sophocles said.
"It's not a toy, Sophocles. It's just a way just so Kairi and I don't have to use the same Pokédex," Sora said.
"Now, that's a brilliant idea," Illima said.
"So, now how about we have some fun around Alola, before we get a reunion party set," Sora said. "Between friends, both old and new."
"That's great and ll, but I think I'm going to have a hard time with this one on my leg," Bianca said, pointing to Scorbunny on her leg.
"Come on, Scorbunny. Let go," Sora said. Scorbunny refused. Okay, hard way it is." Sora calls Scorbunny back in his Pokéball. "Sorry about that, Bianca. Scorbunny's never been like that before."
"Not a problem," Bianca said.
"Now, let's get some fun on!" Pinkie Pie proclaimed.
Not needing a second opinion, they all agreed and set off for some fun all around Alola. Riku, Naminé, Eevee, and Azurill all stayed behind to help with the party planning. They mostly hung out in the jungle on Mele Mele Island as a Yungoos had showed up and bit Sike on the tail.
"Hey! That hurts!" Spike yelped. Yungoos tried again, but earned a Thunderbolt surprise as Sora threw a Pokéball at the mongoose-like Pokémon and it flows inside it. Stars swirls around it to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box activates and it asks him if he wants to keep Tungoos with him. He chose to send Yungoos to Professor Oak's lab.
After that, they all hit the beach, all sporting different swimsuits. Time Man and Oil Man stayed to collect some rays, even though they're robots. Dingodile came across a Pyukumuku.
"Well now, what do we got here?" Dingodile asked. Pyukumuku plants a sock in his face with his fist-like organ. "Oi! That hurts!" Kairi took out a Pokéball and threw it at the sea cucumber Pokémon. Stars swirls around it to confirm the catch. Kairi's Pokémon Box activates and it asks her if she wants to keep Pyukumuku with her. She chose to send Pyukumuku to Professor Oak's lab.
"You okay, Dingodile?" Kairi asked.
"Yeah, I am, luv. What on N. Sanity Isnald was that thing?" Dingodile asked.
"That was a Pokémon called a Pyukumuku. She must have thought you were going to eat her or something, so she landed a punch on your face," Kairi said.
"That's sums it up. That Pyuomuka did number on me sniffer," Dingodile said. Kairi giggled when he got the Pokémon's name wrong.
As they were having fun on the beach, Sora splashed Kairi his way as Bentley made a splash with his club, causing a mini tidal wave. Everyone all laughed when they ended up back on the shore. A Mareanie has eyed both of Kairi's and Lana's Corsola. Getting hungry, Mareanie jumps and heads towards Kairi's Corsola first. Sensing danger, Kairi's Corsola fought back using Night Shade. Mareanie fell backwards and lands in the water, but comes back out with a vengeance.
"A Mareanie!" Kairi gasped.
"A what?" Applejack asked.
"A Mareanie. It's a Poison and Water Type Pokémon and a natural born predator of Corsola. Mareanie must have come for an easy meal," Lana said.
"And set its sights on Kairi's and Lana's Corsola. Sorry, Mareanie, but this restaurant's closed!" Sora said. Sora thought pf having a water battle, so he went with Sobble. "OKay Sobble! Pound!" Sobble came at the brutal star Pokémon and lands a smack with his tail. Mareanie fights back with a Poison Sting attack.
"It's using Poison Sting!" Mallow gasped.
"Dodge!" Sora called out. Sobble avoids Mareanie's Poison Sting and then turned invisible. Mareanie had trouble seeing its target. "Water Gun!" Sobble fires Water Gun and lands a hit on Mareanie. Sora was certain it was weakened enough, so he took out a Pokéball and it struck Mareanie as it flows inside. The Pokéball woobbles around and around. Stars swirls around it to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box activates and it asks him if he wants to keep Mareanie with him. He chose to send Mareanie to Professor Oak's lab. A Wimpod came and came at Pikachu. "Thunderbolt! Pikachu lands a Thunderbolt and shocks Wimpod. Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it at Wimpod. Sora's Pokémon Box activates and it asks him. He chose to send Wimpod over to Professor Oak's lab. "Another catch made in Alola."
"Say how about one more catch," Pinkie Pie pleaded.
A Crabrawler came boxing aroud.
"You mean like that thing?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"What is that thing?" Lanky asked.
"It's a Crabralwer. It's a Fighting Type Pokémon. Crabrawler pride themselves with their boxing capabilties just like a Hitmonchan does," Illima said.
"A Pokémon like that is good to have around. Pikachu, time to rumble!" Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said. Pikachu stood in front of Crabralwer. Smelling a challange, Crabralwer starts things off by coming at the mouse Pokémon and a Rock Smash.
"Dodge and use Iron Tail!" Sora ordered. Pikachu avoids Crabrawler's Iron Tail and swings his tail to smack Crabrawler. The boxing Pokémon, but blocked with its fists. Crabralwer fires Bubble to land a hit, but Pikachu dodges and lands a hit with a Quick Attack. "Now, use Thunderbolt!" Pikachu lands a Thunderbolt and gave Crabrawler a shock. Sora threw a Pokéball at the boxing Pokémon and flows inside. The Pokéball wobbles around and then stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box activates and it asks him if he wants to keep Crabrawler with him. He chose to keep Crabralwer in exchange for the Galarian Farfetch'd.
"Good catch, Sora," Lana said.
"Now, that was a catch," Lanky said.
"So, how about we continue on by showing you our Gyms," Illima said. Sora did wonder how they'll turn out. Illima's Gym was obviously first since it's on Mele Mele Island. When they arrived, they saw it was just perfect for Normal Type Pokémon. Speaking of which, Bewear, Stantler, Smeargle, and a Yungoos and Gumshoos were cleaning the Gym. "What do you think?"
"Gotta hand it to you, Illima, it suits your Pokémon right," Sora said. He smiled at the kind complement.
They headed for Akala Island to show Mallow's Gym. She led the group through the jungle as a Passimian had shown up. Sora took out his new Crabralwer to battle the monkey Pokémon.
"Crabrawler! Rock Smash!" Sora ordered. Crabrawler smascks Passimian with a Rock Smash attack. "Now, use Power-Up Punch!" Crabrawler lands a punch onto Passimian. Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it at Passimian. Passimian flows inside and flows around it. Stars swirls around it to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box activates and it asks him if he wants to keep Passimian with him. He chose to send Passimian to Professor Oak's lab. "Sorry about that, Mallow."
"It's okay, Sora. I shouldn't even be surprised anyway," Mallow said.
With that said, she showed them her Pokémon Gym and it was in the Lush Jungle and well suitable for Grass Type Pokémon.
"I heard of a jungle gym, but I would have taken that too literal," Sora said.
"Well, I thought it was a fun idea. Tsareena, Victreebel, Jumpluff, Vileplume, and Bellossom loves it. And with such perfect timing, her Pokémon come out to greet their old friends. They're joined by a Leafeon.
"When did you evolve your Weepinbell, Mallow?" Kairi asked.
"Just a month ago. Weepinbell looked ready to evolve to me, so that's what I did," Mallow said. They took off to see what was next when an Oranguru is seen with its face coming through the tropical leaves. Oranguru climbs down and started to follow them. A Fomantis woke up and followed Oranguru through the jungle.
Next was Kiawe's Gym on Wela Volcano. Kiawe's Gym was at the base of the volcano, and it was suitable for Fire Type Pokémon, since it has all sorts of torches all around.
"What do you think, guys?" Kiawe asked.
"For a fire gym, I would say it's pretty cool," Sora said.
"More like hot stuff!" Pinkie said. Thar earned a laugh from everyone.
"I don't think I should be in here since oil is combustable," Oil Man said.
"That's a good idea, Oil Man, since you present a danger to us all," Illima said. Oil Man walks outside since he didn't want to cause a fire by accident. And with such timing, Turtonator, Marowak, Charizard, and Growlithe all came out to greet them. Along with them is a Magmar and a Flareon.
They started to make their way to Lana's gym when an Alolan Marowak jumped in front of everyone and twirls its bone.
"A Marowak!" Kiawe said.
"You sure that's not your Marowak, Kiawe?" Applejack asked.
"No, because this one is very different from mine. In fact, this one has been causing trouble for me for a while now," Kiawe said. The Alolan Marowak attacks with a Dhadow Bone. Sora takes out Sobble's Pokéball and threw it.
"Sobble! Go for it!" Sora called out. Sobble comes out to battle the Alolan Marowak. The Alolan Marowak taps its bone against its forehead and twirls bone around while in green flames. The Alolan Marowak rolls in green flames. "Dodge that Flame Wheel and use Water Gun!" Sobble avoids the Alolan Marowak's attack. Sobble fires Water Gun and it struck the bone keeper Pokémon. The Alolan Marowak started to swing at Sobble with Shadow Bone. Sobble tried to dodge, but got hit. The Alolan Marowak threw its bone at the water lizard Pokémon.
"It's using Bonemerang!" Kiawe said.
"Sobble! Duck!" Sora called out. Sobble tried to duck, but got hit by The Alolan Marowak's Bonemerang. The Alolan Marowak comes at Sobble with another Shadow Bone attack. Sobble turned invisible, catching his opponent off guard. "Water Gun! Make it powerful!" Sobble fires Water Gun and it takes the Alolan Marowak in the blast and hits a wall of the valcano. Sora took out a Pokéball and flows inside it. The Pokéball wobbles around and around very violently, knowing the Alolan Marowak might not stay in for very long. Stars swirls around it to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box activates and it asks him if he wants to keep the Alolan Marowak with him. He chose to send it to Professor Oak's lab.
After catching the attacking Alolan Marowak everyone made it to Lana's Gym, which was modeled after a luxury cruise.
"What do you think, Sora and Kairi?" Lana asked.
"Gotta hand it to you, Lana, it looks great. And suitable for a Water Type Pokémon to have," Sora said. Unaware, a Dhelmise is up against a wall and opened its eye and looked right them. Pinkie turned as the eye closes and shrugged. They saw the battlefield that was a swimming pool, just like the ones in Cerulean City and Sootolpolis City. Lana's Gyarados, Seaking, Politoed, and Cloyster come out of the water. Pikachu waved to them and they were happy to meet Angel.
After seeing the gyms of Mallow, Lana, and Kiawe, the group headed for Ula'ula Island to see the Gym operated by Sophocles. Oranguru and Fomantis hitch along for the ride. Entering inside, they were amazed by how it looked.
"This Gym is exactly what I thought it'll be," Sora said.
"It should be since it caters to Electric Type Pokémon. I managed to get it done after I got some tips from Wattson," Sophocles said. Togedemaru, Magneton, Electrode, Vikavolt, and Ampharos came to greet them. When they left, they headed for Acerola's gym next, which happens to be an abandoned supermarket. Sohocles shivered at the sight of it. "I can't believe you chose that place for your Gym."
"Well, it suits me right. My Ghost Type Pokémon all love it here," Acerola said as her Mimikyu, Gengar, Mismagius, and several Shuppet came out.
"I thought you would pick somewhere spooky, Acerola," Kairi said.
"That's so just like you," Sora said.
"I try," Acerola said. Just when they were about to take off, a Sandygast comes out of hiding. "Hi there, Sandygast, have you come to say hello?" Sandygast comes right towards the group.
"It's living sand! That's not scientifically possible!" Twilight exclaimed.
"It's only Sandygast. He was only hanging here," Acerola said.
"IS that one yours?" Sora asked.
"I wish, but I don't think Sandygast wanted me as a trainer. Sandygast came in here and kept challening Mimikyu, Gengar, and Mismagius for weeks now," Acerola said. SAndygast looked at Sora. He placed his sandy limb on Sora's leg.
"Oh, look at that." Sora said as he bends down to Sandygast's level. You wanna be my Pokémon, don't you?" Sandygast nodded. Sora took out a Pokéball and he tapped the button and flows inside it. Stars swirls around it to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box activates and it asks him if he wants to keep Sandygast. Sora chose to send Sandygast to Professor Oak's lab. Just then, the Dhelmise from earlier attacked the group. Sora took out Scorbunn'y Pokéball and threw it. "Scorbunny! Go!" Scorbunny came out and ready to battle. Scorbunny wanted to impress Bianca with his battling skills. Dhelmise begins by sending out Anchor Shot. "Dodge!" Scorbunny lands a kick on the anchor instead and sends it back at Dhelmise."Or do that."
"WHat a kick," Kiawe said.
"I'll say," Ilma agreed.
"Looks like Scorbunny's not calling it quits," Tiny Kong said.
"Scorbunny! Ember!" Scorbunny fires Ember and it struck the ghostly Pokémon. Dhelmise catches fire and fell to the ground. Sora takes out a Pokéball and threw it. Dhelmise flows inside and the Pokéball wobbles around and around very violently. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box activates and it asks him if he wants to keep Dhelmise with him or send it to Professor Oak's lab. He chose to send Dhelmise to Professor Oak's lab. "And that's that."
"Any idea where that Dhelmise came from?" Acerola asked.
"Don't look at me," Lana shrugged. None of them knew where Dhelmisecame from and they kept going with the tour. When they left the old supermarket, they come face-to-face with Oranguru and Fomantis. "Oranguru and Fomantis?"
"Where did they come from?" Applejack asked. Oranguru went up to Sora as Fomantis went up to Kairi.
"What?" Sora asked.
"Guru," Oranguru said.
"Oranguru is said that it looks down inexperienced trainers. And I think Oranguru is suitable Pokémon for you, Sora," Lillie said.
"You think so?" Kiawe asked.
"Could it be that you're interested in me, Oranguru?" Sora asked. The orangutan Pokémon nodded. "You want me as your trainer, right?" Oranguru nodded. Sora took out a Pokéball. "Battle?" Oranguru nodded. He chose Pikachu as his opponent. "And to battle Pikachu, huh?" Oranguru nodded. "Okay." Pikachu and Oranguru got into position. They both stare at each other, waiting for one of them to make a move. "Pikachu! Quick Attack!" Sora Pikachu ran to land a hit on Oranguru. It dodges just by jumping. The leaves on Oranguru's fan glow multi-colored and it thrusts it forward, causing the target to become outlined in a white glow. Pikachu is surrounded by the same white glow and uses Quick Attack again. Oranguru dodges again. "I didn't tell Pikachu to use Quick Attack again."
"What's with the glow on Oranguru's leaves?" Chunky asked.
"Oranguru just used Instruct," Lillie said.
"Instruct?" Rarity asked.
"What's Instruct?" Sunset Shimmer asked.
"It's a Psychic Type move that Oranguru uses to make its opponent use the previous attack. It's Oranguru's signature move," Lillie said.
"Pikachu! Electro Ball!" Sora ordered. Pikachu forms a ball of electricity and hurls it at Oranguru. Oranguru blocks with Psychic and sends it back. "Block with Iron Tail!" Pikachu takes a swing and sends it back to Oranguru and got hit hard. "Iron Tail again!" Pikachu ran towards Oranguru to land an Iron Tail. Oranguru steps to the side, but Pikachu lands a hit onto Oranguru's face. "Thunderbolt!" Pikachu fires Thunderbolt before Oranguru could use Instruct again. Oranguru smiled before it fell to the ground beaten. Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it. The Pokéball wobbles around and around until stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box activates and it asks him if he wants to keep Oranguru with him. He chose to send Oranguru to Professsor Oak's lab.
"You think Oranguru was testing Sora?" Kiawe asked.
"Looks like it to me. Oranguruwanted to see how well Sora's battling skills are and chose Sora," Hapu said.
"That's something that'll never change. Sora's connection with Pokémon is the same as ever," Mallow said.
The Mane seven, Spike, Time Man, Oil Man, Dingodile, the Kongs, Hunter, Bianca, Shiela, Sgt. Byrd, Bentley, and Agent 9 were still at awe with Sora's skills. Kairi thought of putting Fomantis down, but she knew Fomantis wnted to be with Kairi and it jumped out of her arms.
"You wanna battle me Fomantis?" Kairi asked. Fomantis nodded. Kairi understood. "Okay. "Let's do this." She took out Morpeko's Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Morpeko!" Morpeko came out and ready to battle "Use Aura WHeel!" Morpeko's form changed to Hangry Form and uses Aura Whell again, but it came out as a dark ball of energy and comes at Fomantis. That landed a hit on it, but Fomantis comes back fighting with a Leaf Blade. "Dodge and use Bite!" Morpeko avoids Fomantis's attack and lands a bite onto Fomantis. The sickle grass Pokémon tumbled backwards as Kairi took out a Pokéball and threw it. Fomantis flows inside and the Pokéball wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. "Now, I have another cute Pokémon of my own."
Now, that was done, they headed for Poni Island to seethe Gyms operated by Mina and Hapu. Upon arriving, they entered the Gym and they saw all sorts of paintings.
"I'm going to guess you painted all those, Mina," Sora said.
"Yeah, I did," Mina said. "I even made your painitings the other day, and your mom should already have it by now. The same with your family Kairi." Kairi smiled.
"I appreciate it, Mina," Kairi said.
They left Mina's Gym and they headed for Hapu's Gym which happens to be in the mountains. Hapu's Gym was perfect for Ground Type Pokémon.
"And here we are," Hapu said. And they were right. The Gym looked so impressive. "What do you think?"
"It suits you good, Hapu," Sora said. "So, where's the Pokémon League stadium located?"
"It's on Mount Lanakila on Ula'ula Island," Lillie said.
"Is it finished yet?" Sora asked.
"No. It's not, but we can see the construction going," Lillie said.
With that said, they headed for Ula'ula Island and went up the frozen mountain Before they went up, they put on some warm jackets to protect them from the cold. Along the way, they spotted an Alolan Sandshrew and Vulpix coming up to them.
"Alola, you two. Have you come to greet us?" Kairi asked. The two Ice Types nodded. "I think you're both cute." She rubs them both and they beam They tag along with the group and they witness the construction of the Pokémon League stadium. "Is that the stadium being built?"
"That's right. They've been on this for months. I'm so glad that the Island Kahunas agreed to make it a reality," Kiawe said.
"I find it hard to believe that you never had this before," Sunset Shimmer said.
"You're not the only one, Sunset. Professor Kukui had been fascinated with the Pokémon League ever since our Kanto experience," Mallow said. Sora took out Crabrawler's Pokéball and lets out the boxing Pokémon. "Look over there, Crabrawler. Doesn't that look awesome?" Crabrawler turned to see the stadium being built and then, started to evolve. "Whoa!"
"Why is Crabralwer glowing?" Twilight asked.
"Crabrawler's evolving, that's why," Hapu said. Crabrawler was now a Crabominable.
"Crabrawler evolved into a Crabominable," Kairi said.
"That's Pokémon evolution?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Princess Twilight did say that you mentiopned it before," Sunset Shimmer said.
"Now, that we showed you around, how about we head on back to Mele Mele Island. Verything should be ready by now," Illima said. Eveveryone all made their way back to Mele Mele Island as the sun was starting to set. Before they took off, the Alolan Sandshrew and Vuplix wanted to be with Kairi since they both took a liking to her and she sent them right to Professor Oak's lab. Professors Kukui and Burnet along with Lei had everything all set as they're joined by Riku, Naminé, Yuna, Lusamine, Faba, Wicke, and all of Riku's Pokémon. A Dewpider, an Oricorio, and an Alolan Persian all hear the commotion and decided to join in on the fun. An Alolan Exeggutor comes along and takes part of the fun. The party lasted all thorugh the night as the Pokémon all had a taste of the Pokémon food made by Mallow. Dewpider, the Alolan Exeggutor and the Alolan Persian wanted to go with Sora, so he caught them both and sent them both to Professor Oak's lab as Kairi had caught Oricorio. Kairi thought her new bird Pokémon looked pretty in its Baile Form. She did the same thing.
With the party over, they went off to bed as the party was fresh on all of their minds. On the very next morning, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel are joined by Riku, Naminé, Azurill, the Mane Seven, Spike, Time Man, Oil Man, the Kongs, Dingodile, Hunter Bianca, Shiela, Sgt. Byrd, Bentley, and Agent 9 in Lusamine's private jet.
"It was great seeing you again, Sora, Kairi," Lillie said.
"And when you decide to come to Alola gain, be sure that you stay a little longer," Mallow said.
"We'll try to do that, Mallow," Sora said.
"And thanks for having us," Sunset Shimmer said.
"Anytime," Lana said.
"We hope you get home soon," Acerola said as Mina nodded.
"Us too," Fluttershy said.
"And we hope you find your friend," Lillie said.
"Same here, Hunter said. "Professor Oak should have even better luck with this than Professor Kukui."
"Anyway, it was good seeing you again," Illima said.
"Right back at you. Remember, it's not goodbye," Sora said. Illima laughed.
"No, it's a promise to see each other again, someday. I look forward to seeing you again, my friends," Illima said. With that said, they all boarded the jet as they waved goodbye to their friends. "Take care, Sora, i know you'll be even stronger than before by then. And so will I."
AS they flew on the jet, they took the last look of the Alolan Islands before it was completely out of sight.
"i don't know about you, but I miss them already," Oil Man said.
"I'll admit, I too. They have been good hosts to us," Time Man said.
"And they were oodles of fun," Pikie Pie said.
"And they were very kind," Rarity said.
"Now, that was a lot I could be caught dead with any day of the week," Dingodile said.
"Same here," Chunky said as Kiddy agreed.
Sora and Kairi were glad that they came back to the Alola region because they didn't just meet their old friends, but they made new friends as well. Unknown to them, an Alolan Graveler snucked aboard, looking for something. The Alolan Gravler huffed as it was disappointed that it didn't find what it was looking for.
Back in Kanto on Sea Foam Island, several Team Rocket grunts had their Pokémon (consisting of Magmar and Magmotar) ready as they waited for their target.
"You think it'll come?" One of the grunts asked.
"It'll show up. Where else will Arcitcuno go to rest?" Another grunt asked.
"Good point," the first grunt said. Just then, the air grew colder as they knew Arcticuno was getting closer. "And right on cue." Arcticuno was in sight of the grunts as waited for the bird of ice to get closer. Once it did, the grunts all shouted all at once.
"Magmar! Incinerate!" The grunts ordered as the Magmar all fired all at once. Articuno was caught by surprise when the Magmar started their attacks.
"Magmotar! Flamethrower!" The grunts ordered. The grunts all fired Flamethrower and weakened the bird of ice. Just then a Flamethrower comes from nowhere and collides with the Magmotar's FLamethrower.
"Hey! Where did that other one come from?!" The leading grunt exclaimed. "Who's off target?!"
"None of them! It came from me!" Ethan called out as he and his Typhlosion stood on the ledge above them. "You guys are history!"
"You little punk!" The leaing grunt snarled as he took out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Aggron!" His Aggron came out to battle against Typhlosion. "You alot stay on Arcticuno! That kid is mine!" He took out a Mega Stone. "Aggron! Mega Evolve!" Aggron underwent a transformation. Aggron's appearence is bulkier and more heavily plated than its previous state. The horns on its forehead are now shorter, and it has a third, wider horn on its nose. Using its horns. A spike projects downward from both its upper and lower jaw. The protrusions on its shoulders are longer and curve toward its head, and new spikes thrust from holes in its armbands. Its tail is thicker with two bands around it. "Mega Aggron! Heavy Slam!" Mega Aggron jumped and came down fast. May came right in.
"Combusken! Sky Uppercut!" May ordered. Combusken jumps and gives Mega Aggron an uppercut, making it lose control of Heavy Slam. "Now, use Fire Spin!" Combusken fires Fire Spin and it takes heavy damage, because it was no longer a Rock Type because of Mega Evolution. "That was awesome, Combusken!" Her Combusken beamed.
"Don't celebrate yet, May. We still have to take this thing down first," Ethan said.
"Mega Aggron! Use Stone Edge!" The leading grunt ordered. Mega Aggron stomped on the ground and stones came out of the ground.
"Typhlosion! Dodge!" Ethan called out.
"You too, Combusken!" May called out.
Both Fire Types dodged Stone Edge. The leading grunt had to put an end to it now.
"Mega Aggron! use Earthquake!" The leading grunt ordered. Mega Aggron stomps on the groound, making the earth shake. Both Fire Types took heavy damage. "Now, Heavy Slam!" Mega Aggron jumped and came down fast and causes severe damage to them both. When the battle was over, Mega Aggron reverted back to normal.
The grunts succeded by capturing Articuno in an electrified net. Arcticuno tried to fight its way out of the net, but it was futile.
"Capture complete," one of the grunts said.
"Excellent! Retreat!" The leading grunt said. All of the grunts took off, leaving Ethan, May, and their Pokémon behind in the dust.
"No!" May cried.
"Dammit!" Ethan yelled. "I don't believe this!"
"I'm sure Brendan and the other s had a much better success than we did," May said. Ethan calmed down.
"I hope you're right, May. We should check with them," Ethan said.
Over to another location, several Team Rocket grunts kept tabs on the storm clouds in the distance as they knew their target was getting close to them.
"Look alive, everybody. Our lightning bug is getting closer and closer. Everyone set?" A grunt asked. All the grunts all had their thunbs up as they had Rhyhorn, Rhydon, and Rhyperior all set.
"All three stages all set," another grunt said.
"Good," the leading grunt said. "Everyone stay on your toes. Don't give away our positions until it's close enough."
As they were waiting, a beam of light comes and it causes them to scatter.
"Where did that come from?" Another grunt asked. Brendan, Lyra, and Kris all rushed in with Sceptile, Meganium, and Feraligatr ready to go.
"Sceptile! Use Leaf Storm!" Brendan ordered. Sceptile sends out Leaf Storm at the grunts and Pokémon.
"Meganium! Use Petal Blizzard!" Lyra ordered.
"Feraligatr! Use Hydro Cannon!" Kris ordered.
Feraligatr fired Hydro Cannon as Meganiun fired Petal Blizzard and it struck them.
The leading grunt growled and took out an Ultra Ball and threw it.
"Go! Alakazam!" The leading grunt shouted as Alakazam came out. The leading grunt activated a Mega Stone, causing Mega Alakazam to Mega Evolve. Alakazam's appearence had changed its mustache turns white and becomes longer and bushier. It also grows a long, white beard. The armor-like sections become bulkier, and its upper body section becomes slightly shorter to reveal its thin stomach. The ear-like spikes become slightly shorter and a larger spike forms on top of its head. Additionally, it gains an oval, red organ in the center of its forehead. Its lower legs become longer and slimmer and its feet become skinnier and resemble talons. It gains three additional spoons, for a total of five that it levitates in the air. "Say hello to my Mega Alakazam!"
"It's time to say goodbye! Sceptile! Leaf Storm!" Brendan ordered.
"Feraligatr! Hydro Cannon!" Kris ordered.
"Meganium! Petal Blizzard!" Lyra ordered.
Sceptile, Feraligatr, and Meganium all fired their attacks all at once. The leading grunt just grinned evilly as the attacks were coming closer.
"Mega Alakazam! Use Psychic!" The leading grunt ordered. Mega Alakazam uses Psychic to block the three attacks and send them back. All three took heavy damage. Mega Alakazam reverted back to normal as Zapdos came flying. Zapdos fired lightning all around and the rhino Pokémon took the attacks. The grunts fired a giant net at Zapdos. The bird of lightning tried to zap the net, but it was electricity proof.
"Let Zapdos go, you meanies!" Kris demanded.
"There's nothing we can do now. We better retreat for now," Brendan said.
"He's right, Kris. Maybe Ethan and May had much better luck," Lyra said.
Not wanting to be taken prisoner by Team Rocket again, the three trainers retreated. Some of the grunts started to go after them.
"Let them go! We got what we came for," the leading grunt said. They took their prize and placed it in a cage.
In another location, Napoleon led a group of grunts close to the Indigo Plateau when they saw Moltres flying. Napoleon looked through the binoculars.
"And there it is, guys. Moltres is heading this way," Napoleon said. "Get the Gyarados ready!"
"Sir!" All the grunts said, letting the Gyarados out to battle the bird of fire. Just then, a Charizard comes flying in.
"Right Types, wrong Pokémon! Get rid of that flying pest!" Napoleon ordered.
"Hyper Beam!" All the grunts ordered. All the Gyarados fired Hyper Beam, but Charizard easily avoids them beams. Arbok, Seviper, Weezing, and Cacnea all appear and surrounded Napoleon.
"What the hell is this crap?!" Napoleon exclaimed. He took out a Pokéball and threw it. "I got a Gyarados too! I wasn't going to waste it on you, but it looks like I'm going to now!" Napoleon threw the Pokéball and lets out another Gyarados. Napoleon activates a Mega Stone. "Let rage and hate be your strength! Embrace the your aggression and bring victory! I give you the power to Mega Evolve!" Napoleon's Gyarados undergoes a transformation. Gyarados became bulkier The fins on its cheeks become longer and gain a yellow tint. Its crest is larger and black, and its barbels also gain considerable length. A large spike extends downward underneath its chin, and it now has a black underside with a red stripe around the edges. The yellow spots along its body are replaced by raised red scales. Two large yellow fins with blue spines appear on its back. There are now four yellowish, spiky fins near its tail: two on its back and two on its underside. "Mega Gyarados! Dark Pulse on those loser Pokémon!" Mega Gyarados fired Dark Pulse at Arbok, Seviper, Weezing, and Cacnea, taking them out in one hit. Mega Gyarados sets its attention on Charizard. "Hydro Pump on that Charizard!" Mega Gyarados fires Hydro Pump and Charizard dodges the attack. Charizard starts to go through a transformation as well. Its body and legs are more physically fit, though its arms remain thin. Its skin turns black with a sky-blue underside and soles. Two spikes with blue tips curve upward from the front and back of each shoulder, while the tips of its horns sharpen, turn blue, and curve slightly upward. Its brow and claws are larger, and its eyes are now red. It has two small, fin-like spikes under each horn and two more down its lower neck. The finger disappears from the wing membrane, and the lower edges are divided into large, rounded points. The third joint of each wing-arm is adorned with a claw-like spike. Charizard breathes blue flames out the sides of its mouth, and the flame on its tail now burns blue."Mega Charizard X. Someone is nearby." Napolean turned to the other grunts. "You idiots stay on Moltres! I'll take care of that Mega Evolved Pokémon!"
"Sir!" The grunts said.
Napolean and Mega Gyarados rushed to see Red, wearing his black hood.
"Hey you! Stop lurking around!" Napolean demanded.
"Mega Punch!" Red ordered. Mega Charizard X flew and delievered a Mega Punch onto Mega Gyarados. "Mega Kick!" Mega Charizard X lands a Mega Kick.
"Mega Gyarados! Rain Dance!" Napoleon ordered. Mega Gyarados forms a black cloud, causing it to rain. "Now, use Hurricane!" Mega Gyarados sends out a tornado and it struck Mega Charizard X. Mega Charizard X flew out of the trnodao, only to end up being struck by another one.
Over to the other grunts, Moltres flew close enough to the grunts and the toher Gyarados. Moltres was bothered by the sun. The grubts had to make their move now.
"Hydro Pump!" The grunts all ordered. All of the Gyarados fired Hydro Pump and struck the bird of fire. Moltres tried to fight back, but there were too many Gyarados going at once.
"Now, use Hyper Beam!" One of the other grunts ordered. One of the Gyarados fired Hyper Beam and it was enough to bring Moltres down. The grunts fired a fire proof net at Moltres. Jessie and James could only watch as Moltres had been taken.
"No," Jessie said.
"We thought for sure we had it," James said.
"Napolean, we have Moltres. Now, what do we do?" One of the grunts asked.
"What do you think, you idiot? Retreat," Napolean said.
"Yes sir!" The grunts all said.
"Well, whoever you are, looks like we win," Napolean gloated. Mega Gyaroas reverted back to normal as did Mega Charizard X. Napolean got on his Gyarados and rode off as he escaped with the rest.
"No!" Red exclaimed. "I have got to stop them!" James grabbed Red by his shoulder.
"Let them go, Red. There's nothing we can do now. We only lost the battle, not the war," James said.
"James is right. We have our own operators working on the inside," Jessie added.
"Right," Red said. "I hope the other s were successful."
Over in Team Rocket HQ, Giovanni sat on his desk as he recives transmission.
"Yes? What is it?" Giovanni asked.
"All three legendary bird Pokémon have now been captured," Matori reported.
"Excellent. Have them ready for testing," Giovanni instructed.
"Sir," Matori said, breaking contact.
Just then, a purple and cyan emrald had been teleported to Giovanni. He recieves contact from Ganondorf, Bowser, King. K. Rool, Dr. Wily, Dr. Eggman, Sigma, King Dedede, Risky Boots, Gnasty Gnorc, Ripto, and the Sorceress.
"As promised, the final two Choas Emeralds," Ganondorf said.
"I thank you truly for this wonderful event," Giovanni said.
"You should be thankful. Now that you have all seven Choas Emeralds under your belt, your project to destroy the unity between humans and Pokémon would be a snap," Dr. Eggman said. He laughs.
"Also, do you have your test subjects?" Bowser asked.
"I have just been informed that the three birds of legend, Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres had just been captured. The project shall proceed as planned," Giovanni said.
"Excellent," Dr. Wily said.
"We were right to cut a deal with you," King K. Rool said.
"We hope that you'll give us a share of your success," Risky Boots said.
"You shall. Once the unity between humans and Pokémon has been destroyed, ruling the world will be easy for us all," Giovanni said.
"I like the sound of that," Ripto said.
"We shall leave you to your work, Giovanni. We will make contact again so we can finally meet face-to-face, as we promised," Ganondorf said.
"And I look forward to it," Giovanni said as the other villains cut contact with them. He laughed as the emeralds all start glwoing simultaneously. "The fools actually believed I intend to share the world with them." He laughs evilly. "I will rule the world alone. And I shall use the power of these wonderful emeralds to do it." Giovanni laughs even more, scarring his Persian. Persian could tell Giovanni was no longer himself, not since those Chaos Emeralds started coming.
Over to the villains, they all grin as they knew they had filled a lie into his mind. And a lie from their partner.
"He's gone and lied to our faces, just like you said he would, Gnasty Gnorc said, laughing.
"So, that's what yo had in mind right from the start, isn't it, Ganondorf? Have him think he's going to be in charge when we'll swoop in and steal it right under his nose," Risky Boots said.
"Indeed, my dear Risky. Giovanni thinks nothing more than obtaining the power he believes will help him rule his world. And that's where we will do away with him. His Team Rocket will have no choice but to answer to us when their master had fallen by our hands, seeing how we are more superior than he is," Ganondorf said.
"A brilliant plan," the Sorceress said.
"That it is. We have worked so hard to make it to this point," Sigma said.
"And that world will just be start for us. We have so many other worlds to choose from," Dr. Wily said.
"Ooh, I'd feel like a kid in a candy store, I wouldn't know which to start with!" Ripto said.
"I know how that feels, Ripto," Bowser said.
"But once we do rule that world, how will we divide it between us?" King K. Rool asked.
"I'm with K. Rool. Will we be able to divide some territories?" The Sorcress asked.
"That will come at another time. For now, we must focus on Giovanni's project. As Dr. Eggman has predicted, the Choas Emeralds are corrupting his mind as we speak. Even with the emeralds, he will be no match fo us," Ganondorf said.
"Also, I have planed a little something," Dr. Wily said. All of the villains turned to him.
"What do you mean planted a little something?" Bowser asked.
"Planted what?" Risky Boots asked.
"Explain," Ganondorf demanded.
"I already shared a tale of my little Roboenza project with you all. But, I had a little help from Sigma and Dr. Eggman's help. We created a brand new virus to infect their systems. We called it the Chaos Virus," Dr. Wily shared.
"So, that's why you wanted our help and why we snuck in without Team Rocket knowing," Dr. Eggman said.
"By the time the virus is discovered, it will already be too late," Sigma said. "The Chaos Virus is already evolving at a rapid pace."
"It was simply brilliant, if I say so myself," Dr. Wily said.
"You mean, you made their gizmos sick?" Risky Boots asked.
"That's one way of putting it," Dr. Wily said.
"As long it stays in our favor, they're going to think they have it made," King Dedede said.
"And that's what we want them to think," the Sorceress said.
"Now, the overture has begun. All we have to do is await the main event, and then, to the finale," Ganondorf said. All of the villains all laughed as their eventful betrayal was already underway.
Unknown to Team Rocket in their HQ, a computer virus was wreaking havoc in their systems.
Over in Pallet Town, Delia had just finished polishing Sora's Pokémon League trophies. She placed Sora's first one next to the others. Sora's Gym Badges were displayed as well. The jet made a landing on her front door, getting her attention. Kairi's family also notices as they all step out. Team Chaotix and Meowth all came out of the Ketchum house as they saw Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Riku, Naminé, Eevee, Azurill, the Mane Seven, Spike, Time Man, Oil Man, the Kongs, Dindodile, Hunter, Bianca, Shiela, Sgt. Byrd, Bentley, and Agent 9 all came out.
"Sora! Welcome home!" Delia went to her son and embraced him. "How was your trip in the Galar region? Did you have fun?"
"A blast mom," Sora said.
"Welcome back, Kairi," Yuta greeted.
"We missed you during your trip," Mirei said.
"We missed you too," Kairi said.
"We were over at Professor Oak's lab and we were amazed by the collection of Pokémon you caught," Kairi's grandmother said.
"Yeah, about that. That Perrserker you caught during your little pre-honeymoon was a real pain in the neck! All he did was insult me right in my face! But he gets a long with that Persian. Speaking of which, that Alolan Persian you brought back, a real snob towards me!" Meowth said.
"Can't you ever let go of your hatred of Persian? You do evolve into a Persian," Sora reminded the scratch cat Pokémon.
"Whatever," Meowth said.
Delia and Kairi's family noticed the bunch with the couple.
"More friends, Sora?" Delia asked.
"Yeah mom. We met them when we came back to the Alola region. Also, Lillie, Illima and the others all said hi," Sora said. He turned to everyone. "Guys, this is my mom, Delia Ketchum." Just then the Alolan Gravler steps out as the jet's pilot stuck his head out the window.
"I don't mean to interrupt your little reunion, but if you don't need me anymore, I would rather take off," the pilot said.
"Sorry. Go right ahead," Sora said as everyone cleared the way. The jet started flying and headed back to the Alola region. The Alolan Gravler heads to the house with Sora and the rest. Sora saw the Alolan Gravler in front of him. "Hey, I don't remember inviting you."
"Graveler, Grav," the Alolan Graveler said. Sora took out a Pokéball and tapped it on the Alolan Gravler, making it flow inside. Stars swirls aroound the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box activates and Sora chose to send the Alolan Graveler to Professor Oak's lab.
"Now, that's taken care of," Sora said. With the Alolan Gravler caught, Sora introduced his new frends to Delia and Kairi's explained that there was a kidnapping from the Mane' Seven's world and they're trying to find a way to rescue him with hep from a dragon named Spyro to find and rescue him. Team Choatix knew they were in the same boat as them. "And that's about it."
"Wow, more otherwordly characters coming here. This is going to get out of hand if something isn't solved and soon," Yuta said.
"We thought we could get Professor Oak's help to send us on our way," Sunset Shimmer said.
"Say no more. We;ll have a talk with him soon enough," Delia said. "I think I'll have dinner started. I'm making all your favorite foods, Sora." Sora's face lit up at the thought of his mom cooking his favorite meals. Sora and Kairi went to Professor Oak's lab to drop off the Pokémon they have with them and prmised to have Professor Oak have a look at their Pokémon Boxes as soon as they got home. On top of that, the couples' new Pokémon all got adjusted in their new home. Professor Oak was astounded by the sight of Sora's new fossil Pokémon and got along well with Aerodactyl and the other prehistoric Pokémon living there. As they returned home, they found themselves having dinner outdoors, like one big picnic. Sora and Kairi shared a story about their trip in the Galar region about the sights they saw. Kairi even showed everyone some photos of what they saw.
Night came as everyone all got some sleep. Sora took a look out his window as Kairi took a look out hers and they each blew a kiss goodnight. Sora went ot bed and he dreamt some happy dreams about him and Kairi together. Days came and went as Scorbunny saw Hunter as his rival for Bianca an challenged thre cheetah in a race, only to lose. Scorbunny wasn't close to giving up.
As for Team Rocket, how far are they into making a move on Sora and Kairi's Pokémon? And how does the virus that Dr. Wily, Dr. Eggman, and Sigma sabotage Team ROcket's efforts? And will Jessie and James finally reveal themselves after their supposed deaths? All those answers will come in the next chaopter.
