Episode 290: Team Anti-Rocket Launch
Several days have passed since returning from the Alola region. By then, there wasn't a dull moment. Fluttershy had become very popular with many of the Pokémon living in Professor Oak's lab, especially with the baby Pokémon. Twilight was taking notes on several of their behaviors. Scorbunny made several challenges to Hunter for Bianca's affections. Sora's Persian and Isa's Persian became fast friends along with Perrserker and they all had something to say to Meowth. During the mornings, the Tiny Kong, Shiela, and Bianca joined in on Delia and Mirei's exercising routines. Time Man even tracked their time during their jogs. Vector, Bentley, Chunky, and Applejack even spotted Yuta as he was lifting weights. Hunter taught Sora how to shoot an arrow. He had a hard time at first, but he managed to get the hang of it. Rarity became a hit when it came to fashion. Misty even came down from Cerulean City and got caught in the craze. Rainbow Dash challenged some of the fastest Pokémon in a race, leaving some to eat her dust. Pinkie Pie became a hit with all the kids. Agent 9 got some target practice with some dummy Rhynocs with his laser. Applejack helped Yuta build a new shed, since the old one had to come down. Sgt. Byrd was giving some of the Flying Type Pokémon some rigorous training like they were in the military. Sunset Shimmer even bonded with Lea and Isa. Isa knew he's using them as an excuse to live in their memories. Dingodile tried his hands on in the kitchen, but Mimey was having his own opinions on the matter. Apparently, Mimey didn't like the meal he attempted to cook in the kitchen, which was putrid and disgusting. Kiddy Kong played with some of the Pokémon as Lanky tagged along with Gengar and Froslass with some pranks around the place. Riku and Naminé double dated with Sora and Kairi as promised.
Kairi used some of the stones she and Sora had obtained while in the Galar region. She had plenty to go around. She used the stones for Weepinbell, Staryu, Shellder, Gloom, Exeggcute, and Misdreavus. Kairi had a hard time deciding on which one her Gloom wanted to be. Gloom chose to be a Bellossom instead of a Vileplume. Victreebel, Starmie, Cloyster, Exeggutor, and Mismagius were happy with their evolutions, except for Kairi's newly evolved Exeggutor who felt inferior compared to Sora's Exeggutor since being from Alola. Kairi tried offering Togetic and Jigglypuff an opportunity to evolve, but they turned it down since they decided to stay the way they are. Kairi also decided to hold up on evolving her Vulpix and Sandshrew until she felt they were ready.
Sora and Kairi had themselves a nature walk together when they spotted a Kantonian Ponyta galloping in front of them. The Ponyta reminded the couple of the Ponyta Lillie has. Kairi already has a Galarian Ponyta, so she thought of having a Kantonian Ponyta since she knew both Ponyta are very cute. She looked at Angel.
"Okay, Angel. You're in," Kairi said.
"Eevee!" Angel nodded. The female went in front of the Ponyta to battle it. The Ponyta starts by charging at Angel with a Tackle.
"Angel! Dodge and use Headbutt!" Angel avoids the Ponyta's Tackle and lands a Headbutt. "Now, use Swift!" Angel fires Swift, but the Ponyta tries to avoid it, but got struck by the stars. The Ponyta stomp on the ground and came at Angel with a Flame Charge. "Dodge and use Quick Attack!" Angel dodged, but Ponyta came too fast for the female Eevee to dodge. Ponyta came at Angel again much faster than before. Kairi knew Flame Charge builds up speed the more times its used. "Quick Attack!" Angel tried to dodge, but Ponyta came too fast. "Swift!" Angel fires Swift. The Ponyta tried to avoid Swift again, but the stars struck their target on the spot. Kairi took out a Pokéball and struck it. The Ponyta flows inside an the Pokéball wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around it to confirm the catch. "Now, I have a Kantonian Ponyta! And what a cutie she is!"
"Good catch, Kairi," Sora praised.
"Thank you, Sora," Kairi said, giving her boyfriend a deserved kiss on the lips. He kiss her back. Pikachu and Angel kissed each other the same passion as Sora and Kairi.
Back in Hyrule, Mario, Yoshi, Spyro, and Elora had been lost in this new land for some time and they met up with Link, Liknkle, Zelda, Kirby, Meta Knight, and Bandana Dee as they were returning back to Zelda's castle. The red clad plumber explained to Hyrule's princess that Princess Peach and Sparx had been kidnapped by the Koopalings and they ended up in Hyrule same as the Dreamlanders. Since then, they have been working together to find a way back to the Mushroom Kingdom.
"Any clues yet?" Spyro asked.
"I wish there was. This language is even more complicated than I thought. I already tried asking some sages and wisemen, but they too are having difficulties understanding it," Zelda said.
"So much for being so easy," Spyro said.
"No one ever said it was going to be easy, Spyro," Elora said.
"There is only person who could understand this with ease, and he's not even here. And we don't even know where he is," Zelda said.
"That's-a not very helpful," Mario said.
"If only there was someone else we can turn to," Yoshi said.
"What are you getting at Yoshi?" Bandana Dee asked.
"Nothing. It's just a shame that there's nobody around to help us. It might take a miracle for the answer to come," Yoshi said. Zelda thought for a moment and then she gasped in realization.
"Miracle? That's it! Of course!" Zelda said.
"What's it?" Elora asked.
"We can turn to the Goddesses for help," Zelda said.
"Goddesses?" The otherwordly visitors asked.
"The three Goddesses of Hyrule: Nayru, the goddess of Wisdom, Din, the Goddess of Power, and Faore, the Goddess of Courage. They are the very creators of the land of Hyrule and the world beyond it. If anyone can understand it, they can," Zelda said.
"And these Goddesses can help us?" Meta Knight asked.
"Right now, it's our only clue, so we gotta put this to good use," Elora said.
"I agree with Elora. The three Goddesses are our only hope. We must head for the Temple of the Trifoce post-haste," Zelda said.
"We better let Link and Linkle know about this. Ganondorf's flunkies might try to stop us," Spyro said.
"I agree," Zelda said. "We must get started."
In Abel City, the Maverick Hunters, X, Zero, Axl, the Colonel, along with Silver had salvaged through Sigma's lab for clues, and so far what they found was an empty fortress, not counting the numerous traps left behind. SIlver managed to save them by using his psychic powers. They returned to base with what they have so far, and it was a whole lot of nothing.
"Those Mavericks definitely didn't want us looking around if they left some nasty surprises for us," Axl said.
"I know I didn't want anyone looking around if they were sniffing around my home turf. Depending on what it is," Zero said.
"It must be frustrating for you," Silver said.
"Frustrating isn't what I'd go for," Axl said. "This is downright annoying."
"I agree. We should have gotten a fix on Sigma by now. What is he cooking up?" X asked.
"We should let that rest. Sigma will make himself known soon enough. In the meantime, we should go over the clues we have so far," Colonel suggetsed.
"Again? We did that already," Axl said.
"True, but what if there was something we may have missed?" Colonel asked.
"Colonel has a point," Zero agreed. "Maybe, we were going at it the wrong way."
"We should get this Signas, Alia, Iris, Layer, Palette, and General in our idea," Axl said.
"I was thinking the same thing," X said.
The five warriors went on to inform the other Reploids about their plan. Unknown to them, Double was listening on them.
"Careful what you ask, Maverick Hunters," Double said.
Back in Mega City, Proto Man has been working with Mega Man, Crash, Pit, Shantae, Sky, Bolo, Coco, and Aku Aku on their mission to stop whatever evil is at work.
On a daily basis, they kept an eye out for any signs of Dr. Wily and his robots. So far, there had been no signs of Dr. Wily, not even in his old labs.
"Dr. Wily is getting better at covering his tracks," Mega Man said.
"He has a vast army of robots by his side. Even Cortex wasn't this quiet," Coco said.
"I just hope nothing else goes wrong," Pit said.
Speaking of which, in the past in Crash and Coco's world, a short, typically yellow-skinned, large-headed balding man with a giant N on his forehead. He is wearing a white lab coat, yellow leather gloves, black boots. He has a single black hair on top of his head and some on the sides. He has a short beard and bushy eyebrows with the same color along with is holding some of blunt device, giving off some electricity.
"Crash Bandicoot, at last, I, the Great Neo Cortex have right I want you! And now, the final blow!" Cortex said as he heads for Crash Bandicoot. In reality, he was just smacking a dummy that looks a lot like him with green buttons for eyes with a stick. The dummy squeaked for each hit. Standing with him with utter embarrassment and displeasure is a man with light blue skin. He has long eyebrows and two equally long and skinny beards. His legs are long and skinny. He is wearing gold armor covering most of his body, except his waist. He also wore a golden-brown, smog-producing, piston-driven time machine, which appears to obscure his lab coat. He wears a tall headgear with a small silver fork. His left arm has a huge metal glove with a clock on it.
"Hush, simpleton!" The second man said. Coretx turned to him with a sour look on his face. With them is a floating mask just like Aku Aku, but is black, has a bone tied to its head and two bones on both sides. He has a ginger beard and red lips with sharp teeth. He has a yellow zigzag on the forehead. He also has yellow glowing eyes. The mask was trying to open their way through out of the past. The tall man grinned as Cortex went next to him.
"Face it, N. Tropy. It's going to fall... again," Cotrex said, referring to the number of times that were tried. N. Tropy gave the shorter man a cold look.
"At least, Uka Uka and I attempt to free us from this prison. I won't sit idly by and listen to your inane ramblings for another decade!" N. Tropy spat. He leans to Cortex's level. "And the way you chew."
Cortex was about to retort when Uka Uka gave off a loud struggling yell as he manages to get closer to opening their way out. Uka Uka had finally succeeded in opening a dimensional rift. Having to use all of strength, Uka Uka fell to the ground, unconscious. Cortex looked at the evil mask and tapped him with his stick.
"Is he dead?" Cortex asked.
"Leave him. He has served his purpose," N. Tropy said. He laughs as the two scientists escaped. They entered through to end up back in his old castle.
"Ah, Castle Cotex. Just how I left her," Cortex said. "Oh, the what fond memories. The experimentations, the flunkies I used to kick around. And that failed experiment of mine, Crash Bandicoot." He looked around and saw an dimensional vortex machine. "I don't remember leaving this here." N. Tropy gazed upon it with great interest.
"Fascinating. I do believe we can use this to our advantage," N. Tropy said.
"This thing? And how will be any use to us?" Cortex asked.
"Judging by its design, I would say that this device was used to travel through space and time. Whoever left it here has unknowingly paved the wave for our future. More so than Uka Uka," N. Tropy said.
"You mean, someone left this unguarded like a car that's unlocked and the keys still in the ignition?" Cortex asked.
"In some way, it has. We must start planning at once. I will learn the origin of this wonderful device, while you round up N. Gin and N. Brio. I, er, I mean we could use their so-called help," N. Tropy said.
"Those losers? What for?" Cortex asked.
"If memory serves, you recruited them in your previous plots, which ended in failure. And by my calculations, our enemies will be making a move against us. And. We. Will. Prevail," N. Tropy said.
Back in Mega City, Aku Aku felt a chill and he shivered. Shantae was the first to notice.
"Hey, Aku, what's wrong?" Shantae asked.
"I don't know. I just felt some sort disturbance. I am sure what it was, but it felt faintly familiar," Aku Aku said.
"Don't tell me, it's gonna get worse before it gets better," Shantae groaned.
"It always does, I'm afraid," Aku Aku said.
Back in Sora's world, Kairi's new Ponyta got along with the Galarian Ponyta. They began to frolic and play with each other. Outside of Pallet Town, Butch and Cassidy made their arrival by helicopter.
"We have arrived," Cassidy said.
"The Pokémon belonging to Sora and Kairi all up for grabs. After hearing that they all belong to a Pokémon League Champion and Top Coordinator, it's no wonder Giovanni wants them so badly," Butch said.
"After our fortune teller fiasco, we can't afford another mess up," Cassidy said.
"We're finally gonna succeed in something Jessie and James had messed up," Butch said.
"Better make with the disguises," Cassidy said. She dressed up as a Nidoqueen as Butch dressed up as a Golem. Jessie and James had caught up by jetpack.
"Here we go," Jessie said.
"Cassidy and Butch are on the move," James said.
"Let's get to work," Jessie said.
Professor Oak, Lea, and Isa had placed all of Sora and Kairi's Pokémon in their Pokéballs to rest as the Mane Seven were helping around the lab as Espio was doing some meditation. Charmy was inside playing a racing video game with Kiddy.
"Eat my dust, dust-eater!" Charmy taunted.
Sora and Kairi had just arrived to the lab to see how things are going.
"So, how are things here?" Sora asked.
"Well, for one thing, Lea isn't happy about losing in video games to either Charmy or Kiddy," Isa said.
"Which one broke his record?" Sora asked.
"I think it was Charmy who did that," Sunset Shimmer said.
"And was before Kiddy came in second," Isa said.
"Anyway, any clues to send them on their way?" Kairi asked.
"Not a thing. Ever since you came home with the first three, he had a hard time trying to figure out how to send them back," Isa said.
"At least we're trying," Sora said. "I mean, with everything going on, I don't even wanna know what else could go on."
Outside, Dingdile is alseep on a hammock and snoring loudly. He smacks his lips.
"I would like some more of those macaroni and beetle larvae, please," Dingodile said in his sleep. He smacks his lips again. He snores loudly.
Sora and Kairi sat down on the couch as they were Professor Oak's guests. Delia and Mirei made the snacks while Kairi's grandmother made the tea.
"I know I've said this before, but it's good to have you home again, Sora," Delia said.
"About fifty to sixty times you said, mom," Sora said.
"I know. You gone on your own travels, you became a completely different person. You grew up so much, I hardly recognized you at first," Delia said. Sora could only blush.
"Mom," Sora said.
"There's plenty more tea if you would like some more," Kairi's grandmother said. They got some more tea after they drank some.
Over to Meowth, he wanted some alone time from all the excitement.
"Man, the way things are going on, it's kinda like a circus. There are more clowns there than I can shake a stick at," Meowth said. He sighed as he looked up at the sky. "I know I've said this often, but I actually miss you, Jessie, James. I can't think of a day that went if I hadn't thought of ya. Ever since ya died, you been occupying my mind more ever. I guess, it's because of the times we had before we met Sora and Kairi and decided to capture Pikachu and present him to our ex-boss. And when we decided to take down Team Rocket together, I was on board. And when I joined up with them, things got pretty nutty with some yahoos coming from another world. But despite it all, I'm doing great. I just wish I could see you again, just one time. That'll make my day." Meowth sniffled as he wiped away some tears.
Over to Cassidy and Butch, the Team Rocket agents look their binoculars.
"Is that the place? The one with the windmill?" Butch asked.
"That's the place alright. Professor Oak's little laboratory. It's not just full of extra Pokémon that trainers who begin their journeys from Pallet Town, but also those two top trainers Sora and Kairi. They have loads of Pokémon that are ripped for the taking. Rumors says that they have Pokémon that are considered to be very rare," Cassidy said.
"It'll be a shame if someone just sneak in there and steal all those Pokémon," Butch said.
"Yes, a terrible shame," Cassidy agreed as they both laughed. "According to our sources, that good-for-nothing do-gooder Professor Oak and those two assistants of his, Lea and Isa, are those revolting loving families of those goody-good kids."
"Swiping all those Pokémon will be like taking candy from a Togepi," Butch said.
"And it's a perfect opportunity for revenge on that mushy couple by swiping their Pokémon from them," Cassidy said.
"Especially after all the hell they put us through since Lavender Town. Giovanni should give us a promotion for this!" Butch said.
"And they'll be prefect to use as test subjects for our project," Cassidy said.
The Team Rocket agents both laughed as they set their evil plan into motion.
Over to Wario and Waluigi, they are currently in a rocky terrain, searching for some treasure, but ever since they arrived in Kanto, they came out empty.
"Drat! Once again, we got nothing," Wario said.
"We should already have struck gold by now. But so far, the only thing that we struck was a rock, and it was alive," Waluigi hissed.
"This whole treasure hunt is a complete bust! When I get my hands on that crooked crook, I'll pop his head like a zit on prom night!" Wario said.
"And after that, we could feed him to the Piranha Plants," Waluigi added. Just then, a helicopter comes flying by, catchin the attention of Wario and Waluigi. "What is that?!"
"Why are you asing me? But, wherever it's going, there's got to be loads of valuables to swipe," Wario said. With that said, Wario and Waluigi rushed to seiize the prize.
Over in Maverick Hunter HQ, X, Zero, Axl, Silver, and Colonel called Alia, Iris, Palette, Layer, Signas, and General into a secret meeting.
"You suspect that there's a missing clue?" Signas asked.
"That's what we suspect. The All those Mavericks are doing an excllent job at covering their tracker than we were led to think," Zero said.
"After all the sightings of those former Repliforce guys, we got nothing. Except for some traps waiting for us when we got there," Axl said.
"I agree that it is disturbing that Sigma and his forces had been quiet as of late, but we must keep trying," Genral said.
"I agree. We should start doubliong our efforts," Signas said.
"Roger," the three Maverick Hunters al said.
Just then, a dimensional rift opens and sucked in Silver, X, Zero, Axl, Colonel, Alia, Iris, Layer, and Palette in it, leaving behind Signas and General.
"X! Zero! Axl! Where are you?!" Signas exclaimed.
Up in outer space in Mega Man's universe, a robot with a large hand is floating in space. The metal on him is mostly dark blue and has a red patch on his chest and with four green jewels. His face is white and has green metal on his nose and chin. He opens his eyes.
"Something is happening," the robot said. He recived a transmission from Dr. Light.
"Duo, this is Dr. Light! As soon as you receive this message, please come to Earth, because, it's very urgent!" Dr. Light said through the transmission.
"I have no time to lose," Duo said. He makes his way back to eart, but he ends up going through an dimensional rift. He ends up in Sora's world. He looked around and he knew it wasn't his earth. "This cannot be good. I have not arrived to where I have intended. Still, I can sense an evil on this planet. I must follow this evil right to its source." Duo flew to follow the source of the evil he was sensing.
Back in Professor Oak's lab, Meowth was heading back when he noticed something off about a Nidoqueen and a Golem.
"I always dreamed of being a queen when I was a little girl, but never a Nidoqueen," Cassidy said. "I feel absolutely ridiculous."
"Heh, I think I make a good Golem," Butch said. Meowth gasped when he recognized those voices.
"And why is that?" Cassidy asked.
"We're both very similar. We're both strong, tough, fierce, powerful," Butch went on.
"Cassidy and Butch! I know those voices anywhere! I better follow them and see what they're up to," Meowth said. He began to follow the Team Rocket agents.
Butch was still listing his comparison to him and Golem, "We're both great fighters, we're both fearless, we're both..."
"ALRIGHT! ENOUGH!" Cassidy exclaimed. Meowth kept on following them. Meowth quietly followed them as he stepped on a twig. Meowth froze in shock as Cassidy and Butch heard the snap. They turned to see Meowth following them.
"It's just a Meowth," Cassidy said.
"Wait, isn't there something familiar about that Meowth?" Butch asked. Meowth was worried about being recognized.
"Crap, if I open my yap, they'll know it's me. I gotta think of something and fast. Okay, what'll Sora do if he was in my shoes? Wait, he'll trick them, like Sora used to when he saw through our getup. I just hope it works," Meowth said in his thoughts. Meowth quickly got on all fours and when out loud, "Meowth! Meowth! Meowth, Meowth!" Meowth pretended to be a regular Meowth.
"Nope, it's just a regular one and not that one Meowth that hung with those two losers," Cassidy said.
"I guess it was just my imagination," Butch said as he and Cassidy kept going. Meowth waited for them to be completely out of sight and then wiped off some sweat in relief.
"Whew, that was close. For a second there, I thought my goose was cooked. I gotta warn everybody and fast. That really rainbow girl can run faster than a Dodrio, so I gotta find her before it's too late. She'll warn everybody faster than I can," Meowth said. He took off to find Rainbow Dash. "Gotta find her, gotta find her, gotta find her!"
"Gotta find who?" A voice came. Meowth turned to see it was Agent 9 doing some target practice. "What's new pussy cat?"
"We got a problem! Where's the Rainbow girl?" Meowth asked.
"You mean Rainbow Dash? She took off doing some errands for Sora's mom. Why you need her?" Agent 9 asked.
"We got some big trouble and it just got here! i need to find her since she's the only one who can get to everybody fast enough!" Meowth said.
"Why not Hunter? He is a cheetah. You and he are pratically cousins," Agent 9 joked.
"This is no time for jokes, you crazy monkey! Just find her and fast!" Meowth said.
"And why should I do that?" Agent 9 asked.
"Because there are some bad guys here and they're disguised as a Nidoqueen and a Golem. I heard them talking and I know their voices!" Meowth explained.
"What?! Bad guys?! Why didn't you say so in the first place?! How I about I zap them with my laser?" Agent 9 laughed maniacally. "Have them wear Rhynoc horns and fill 'em full of steaming holes like swiss cheese!" He points his laser gun all around.
"Give that itchy trigger finger of yours a rest and go get her and get her here on the double!" Meowth said.
"On it!" Agent 9 said, doing a salute and rushed to find everyone.
"In the meantime, I gotta find out what they're doing here," Meowth said, going after Cassidy and Butch.
Back in Dr. Light's Lab, Mega Man, Proto Man, Roll, Pit, Shantae, Crash, Coco, Bolo, Sky, Rottytops, and Aku Aku tried to get in touch with Duo, but there was no answer. Just then, a dimensional rift opens and the Reploids and hedgehog all fell through.
"What was that about?" Axl asked.
"I was afraid this was gonna happe," Silver said.
"And you couldn't warn us sooner?" Zero asked.
"Don't blame him for this, Zero. There's no way he might known when it was gonna hap-" X stopped when he saw a robot that looked exatcly like him, "-pen." X stood up and the two blue robots look at each other.
"Either I'm looking at a funhouse mirror or this bot looks a lot like me," Mega Max said.
"I wouls say the exact same thing," X said.
"Is anyone else here seeing double?" Coco asked.
"Whoa, two Mega Mans, er, I mean Mega Men," Shantae said.
"This so weird," Pit said. He saw the other Reploids and silver hedgehog.
"Very fascinating," Dr. Light said. X recognized his voice and turned with a surprise.
"Dr. Light?!" X exclaimed. Dr. Light was shocked to see that this robot somehow knew him.
"Yes, but who are you?" Dr. Light asked.
"I'm Mega Man X. X for short. And I just want to say that you are the one who built me," X said. Everyone were all shocked to hear the blue Reploid make such a claim. Crash went went up to X and poked him a few times.
"WHA?!" Dr. Light exclaimed.
"What else could happen?" Aku Aku asked.
Back at Pallet Town, Agent 9 ran to find Rainbow Dash. Instead, the monkey found Fluttershy, Pinkie and Applejack at Sora's house. They were all in the kitchen with Mimey baking some apple pies for everyone when Agent 9 came busting through the door, startling Delia's Mr. Mime.
"Emergency! Emergency! EMRGENCY!" Agent 9 yelled. The three girls stopped.
"Agent 9, what in the tarnation has gotten your tail in a loop?" Applejack asked.
"Ooh, ooh, ooh, is it a game? Is it a contest to see who can yell the loudest? That sounds like it's lots of fun! I wanna yell!" Pinkie Pie said. She was about to let one out, but Applejack placed her hand over her mouth.
"Ah don't think it's a game, Pinkie," Applejack said.
"EMERGENCY! EMRGENCY! EMERGENCY! EMERGENCY!" Agent 9 yelled.
"Ah know it's an emergency, but what's the emrgency?" Applejack asked. Mimey made a barriier in front of the hyperactive monkey and he slams into the invisible wall, quieting him down. "Not what ah had in mind, but I'll take it. Thanks fer quieting him down, Mimey."
"Mr. Mime," Mimey said. Fluttershy helped him on his feet.
"It's okay, Agent 9, just take a deep breath," Fluttershy said. Agent 9 started to breathe in and out. "That's right, inhale and exhale." Agent 9 was calming down. "Now, what wrong?" Agent 9's energy suddenly came back
"Trouble at the lab! Bad guys on the lab grounds! Came to find Rainbow Dash! Where is she now?" Agent 9 asked. Applejack, Fluttershy, and Pinkie didn't like how that sounded.
"She should be in her way back now since Sora's ma sent on an errand," Applejack said.
"And here I am," Rainbow Dash said. She walked in the house with the grocieris Delia asked her to fetch. "What's up?" She sets the groceries down.
"Trouble at the lab! Bad guys at the lab! Meowth sent me to get you! You're the only one fast enough to get to the others on time!" Agent 9 exclaimed.
"Bad guys?! Pinkie Pie, where is everybody" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Twilight, Sunset, Vector, Charmy, Espio, and Dingodile are at the lab," Pinkie said. She told where everyone else is at that point.
"Great! I'll tell everyone to meet us there," Rainbow Dash dashed off to get the others for help.
"We better head down there too!" Applejack said. The two girls agreed as they dashed off to Professor Oak's lab. Agent 9 went with them with his laser gun ready.
"Don't start the excitement without me!" Agent 9 yelled.
Butch and Cassidy made it over to a window, pass the sleeping Dingodile. They managed to cut a hole in the window and make it inside. Spike was inside, sleeping when he heard the window open.
"Huh? Who's that?" Spike asked. He went to the source. He saw Cassidy and Butch enter the lab through the window. "Burglars. Better warn everyone!" Spike started barking, alerting the Team Rocket agents. They quickly grabbed the purple dog and tapped his mouth shut and placed him in a sack.
"That'll keep you quite, you mangy mongrel!" Cassidy said.
"Someone was bound to hear it," Butch said. They went off to steal of Sora and Kairi's Pokémon when Twilight came to the hall.
"What is it , Spike? Spike? Where are you?" Twilight asked. She went to look for him. Sunset Shimmer came in to join Sora, Kairi, and their families. "Have any of you seen Spike?"
"He went somehwere to take a nap. Why?" Sora asked.
"I just heard him barking a little while ago and I can't find him," Twilight said.
"Spike probably saw something that looked like a squirrel and chased it off," Sunset said.
"I hope you're right," Twilight said as she continued to look for Spike.
Back outside, Meowth had caught up with Butch and Cassidy, but saw their disguises.
"Here are the disguises, but no one's using them," Meowth said. He saw the window cut open. "Oh no, they're in. They're going to steal every Pokémon inside the lab. Along with the ones belonging to Sora and Kairi. I hope they'll get here in time."
"Meowth?" Espio asked as he jumped behind the scratch cat Pokémon. "What is going on?"
"Espio, thank my nine lives you came! We got some trouble brewing! A couple of bad guys had just broke into the lab and they['re here to steal all the Pokémon in the lab," Meowth explained. Espio clutched his fist.
"Poaching wild Pokémon is one thing, but stealing Pokémon from others is unforgivable," Espio hissed.
"Agent 9 already knows and he's out getting Rainbows and she's probably already rounding everybody else up," Meowth said.
"And some of us have come," Applejack said.
"Rainbow Dash ia already getting everyone else," Fluttershy said.
"So, where are the meanie-bo-beanies?" Pinkie asked.
"Inside," Meowth said, pointing to the window.
"Oh no!" Fluttershy gasped.
"We better get a move on!" Agent 9 said.
"Right! Ah'll head inside and tell everybody inside and ya'll see if they got here by helicopter or something," Applejack said.
"Right!" Agent 9, Meowth, Fluttershy, and Pinkie all said as Applejack went inside to warn everyone inside.
Cassidy and Butch made it to the Pokéball storage room and went up to Sora and Kairi's Pokéballs.
"And here they all are," Cassidy said.
"That kid has quite a haul of Pokémon. Just how many does he have?" Butch asked.
"Who cares? Just swipe 'em all," Cassidy said as she started to stuff the sack. Butch did the same thing.
Back outside, Pinkie Pie took out a megaphone from her hair and turned it on.
"WAKE UP!" Pinkie Pie yelled in it, waking the crocodile-dingo hybrid and making him fall out of his hammock.
"Oi, Pinks! Don't yell in that! People can go deaf that way!" Dingodile said.
"Sorry to wake you like that but-" Fluttershy said before she was cut off by Agent 9.
"Burglars in the lab! Up to no good! Need help to search grounds!" Agent 9 said.
"Why didn't you say so?" Dingodile asked. he took out his leaf blow. "Let's kick some arse!"
They begin to move to search the grounds. Applejack came in the living room with everyone inside.
"Everyone, we got a problem!" Applejack said.
"Applejack, what's up? Pinkie didn't try to blow up the kitchen with her magic, did she?" Sora asked.
"No, it's more serious than that! Ya'll got burglars on the grounds!" Applejack exclaimed.
"What? Who would break in here?" Charmy asked.
"Someone crafty, that's for sure," Vector said. Twilight searched every inch of the lab for Spike when she saw an opened door.
"Who left this open?" Twilight asked. She looked inside and saw all of Sora and Kairi's Pokémon are all gone. "No, no, no, no! This isn't happening!" She went to get everyone about this.
Rainbow Dash along with the rest made it back to the lab, hoping they weren't too late.
"Made it," Rainbow Dash said.
"We better hurry and catch them red-handed!" Hunter said.
"And stop them," Riku said.
"Eevee!" Eevee agreed.
"There's no time to lose!" Time Man said. They went inside as Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Professor Oak, Delia, Yuta, Mirei, Kairi's grandmother, Vector, Charmy, Kiddy Kong and Sunset Shimmer went search the lab.
"Good of you to come," Sora said.
"We got here as soon as Rainbow Dash told us," Bianca said.
"We couldn't let this slide," Shiela said.
"Thanks," Sora said.
They were about to begin the search.
"Everyone! The Pokéball storage room has been broken into!" Twilight exclaimed.
"What? They stole all the Pokéballs?" Professor Oak asked.
"Not all of them! Just the ones belonging to Sora and Kairi. They left the rest untouched!" Twilight said. Sora and Kairi didn't like how that sounded.
"No," Sora said as his heart sank. Kairi's heart also sank. Yuta became so angry by this.
"How dare they steal from my daughter!" Yuta roared.
"They're probably not too far. And the others are probably searching the grounds," Lea said.
"So, that's it! Spike was trying to warn us!" Twilight said.
"And they probably nabbed him too," Isa said.
"But who?" Rarity asked.
"I think I have an idea who: Team Rocket. They're the only ones who would do this," Sora said.
"Well, those two Team Rocket guys are dead, so it had to be someone else in Team Rocket, then," Lea said.
"We better get going and spot them before they get too far," Professor Oak said.
"Right," everyone all agreed. They all set out to nab them before they got away.
Over to Meowth, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Agent 9, Dingodile, and Espio, Meowth filled them on the Team Rocket agents, Cassidy and Butch, and the entire Team Rocket organization and how they steal Pokémon from other trainers.
"Well, that's not very nice," Pinkie said.
"Well, they ain't very nice either," Meowth said.
Fluttershy and Dingodile found what looked like a camouflage blanket.
"Oi, look what we found," Dingodile said. Meowth and Pinkie went to the bushes and saw the camouflage blanket. Dingodile took it off and saw the helicopter.
"That's a Team Rocket helicopter alright. There's no mistaking it," Meowth said.
"You think those guys will head here?" Dingodile asked.
"Well, it's how they got here, so that's how they're gonna get out of here. And the only way they're gonna do that is that through us," Meowth said. He then said in his thoughts, "I can't believe I just said that."
"And we'll be waiting," Agent 9 said, getting anxious.
Cassidy and Butch put their disguises back on and they rolled in their cart disguised as a Muk.
"Those fools will be searching for two burglars wearing black and carrying a bag of Pokéballs when they don't suspect a Nidoqueen and a Golem, going with a Muk," Cassidy said.
"This is even easier than I thought. No alarms or anything. It's like they were asking us to steal all these Pokémon," Butch said.
"All too easy. And the beautiful part is, nobody has stopped us this far," Cassidy said. Just then, a Nidoking comes out the bushes and spotted Cassidy. She winced. "Oh no! Not a Nidoking!"
"I think it has the hots for you, Cass," Butch said. They kept going and passed Nidoking. The Nidoking comes out of the bushes and goes up to Cassidy. "It's following us."
"Shh, pretend it's not there," Cassidy said. Nidoking grabs Cassidy. "Hey! Let me go! Butch! Do something!"
"What do you want me to do?" Butch asked.
"Rock Throw, Stone Edge, Rock Tomb! Anything! Just get this Nidoking off me!" Cassidy exclaimed.
"I'm not a REAL Golem!" Butch reminded her.
"Didn't you say taht you're-" Cassidy was interruppted by Nidoking's affections. "Hey! Back the hell off!" She pushes Nidoking off, bur he keeps nuzzling her.
"It thinks you're playing hard to get," Butch said.
"No, no, no! Go away! Go away! Shoo!" Cassidy said. Nidoking gives Cassidy a toss and makes a landing. Distracted, Butch dropped the bag carrying Spike and the dog got out when the rope at the top became loose and ran off. Butch went to her.
"Cassidy, are you okay?" Butch asked.
"I should have been a Kangaskhan, if I knew I was gonna get raped by a horny Nidoking," Cassidy said.
"Let's just hurry to the helicopter before someone sees us," Butch said. He picked up the bag and saw it was empty. "Shit! The mutts gone!"
"I told you to tie it securely!" Cassidy scolded.
"Don't bite my head off, Cass! I was in a hurry to get the job done!" Butch said.
"Now thanks to your screw up, we gotta move faster!" Cassidy said.
Everyone looked all over for Team Rocket when Meowth went up to Sora.
"Sora, I found ya!" Meowth said.
"Meowth, where's Team Rocket?" Sora asked.
"Don't know, but I know where the helicopter is! Dingo, Flutters, and Pinks are already there!" Meowth said.
"Show the way!" Sora said.
"This way!" Meowth said, leading everyone to the helicopter. Twilight saw Spike with him muzzled.
"Spike! You're okay! They didn't hurt you, did they?" Twilight asked. She got the muzzle off the dog.
Butch and Cassidy ran with the Pokéballs.
"We're almost there!" Cassidy said.
"Helicopter, helicopter, helicopter!" Butch added as they both ran to reach the helicopter. They reached the helicopter and found it to be uncovered and the girls, dingo-crocodile hybrid, and monkey waiting for them. Dingodile aimed his leaf blower and Agent 9 aimed his laser.
"Going somewhere?" Agent 9.
"We've been waiting," Dingodile said.
"No way," Cassidy said.
"Way," Sora called out from behind. They turned to see him and Kairi.
"How did you find us?" Cassidy asked.
"From me," Meowth finally spoke. They were shocked to see Meowth again. "Didn't expect to see me again, did ya? And twice in one day."
"You!" Butch exclaimed. "I knew it was you!"
"Doesn't matter because we'll be making our getaway now," Cassidy said.
"And how do you plan on doing that? Just look around. You're completely surrounded!" Sora said. The Team Rocket agents saw that they were surrounded. They had nowhere to go. "Just when I thought there was no line you guys couldn't cross, you've gone and do this!"
"We have our orders, and it's payback for Lavender Town and on Whirl Islands for getting in our way!" Cassidy said.
"You're not going to get away with this! We won't let you!" Kairi said.
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Eevee!" Angel said.
You want them back? You're going have to battle us for them!" Butch said, taking out a Pokéball. Cassidy does the same thing.
"Sableye! Go!" Cassidy called out.
"Sharpen your fangs, Mightyena!" Butch called out as Mightyena came Sabeleye.
"Pikachu! Go!" Sora called out.
"Go, Angel!" Kairi called out.
Pikachu and Angel stepped in to battle the Team Rocket Pokémon.
"Sableye! Use Shadow Claw!" Cassidy ordered.
"Mightyena! Use Crunch!" Butch ordered.
Both Sableye and Mightyena came at Pikachu and Angel to land a hit on them.
"Doge with Quick Attack!" Sora and Kairi ordered. Pikachu avoids Sableye and Mightyena's attacks.
"Sableye! Feint Attack!" Cassidy ordered. Sableye vanished and then reappeared, landing a hit on Pikachu. "Feint Attack again, but aim it at that Eevee!" Sabeleye vanishes again and lands a hit in Angel.
"Mightyena! Use Snarl!" Butch ordered. Mightyena unleashed Snarl and it struck the Pokémon couple. Sableye kept using Feint Attack while Mightyena kept up with Snarl before either Sora or Kairi could tell them to blink. Riku turned his Eevee, seeing it was an unfair fight, but then, suddenly, an Arbok lands a Crunch onto Sableye while a Carnivine bites Mightyena. Everyone was surprised by the sudden appearance of these two Pokémon. "What the?! Where did those Pokémon come from!"
"In the name of good, prepare for trouble!" Jessie called out.
"And in the name of justice, make it double!" James also called out.
Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Meowth, Cassidy, and Butch were all surprised to hear those voices again.
"No way. It's not who I think it is, is it?" Sora asked.
"In the name of good?" Cassidy asked dumbfounded.
"And in the name of justice?" Butch asked.
Jessie and James came from their hiding place to finally reveal themselves to everyone. Sora and Kairi were seeing their former enemies alive and well.
"To protect the world from devastation!"
"To unite our principals bringing justice to every nation!"
"To embrace the virtues of truth and love!"
"To bring hope to all from the stars above!"
"Jessie!"
"James!"
"Team Anti-Rocket blasts off for what is right!"
"Evildoers beware or prepare to fight!"
"Wobbufett!"
"Ch~iiiiimmmmmeeee!"
"YOU'RE ALIVE?!" Cassidy and Butch exclaimed.
"You're alive!" Sora and Kairi said happily. Meowth was awestruck and shocked to see Jessie and James alive after being told that they weren't coming back.
"But how? We saw the Team Aqua submarine blow up!" Riku pointed out.
"A story for another time," Jessie said.
"Right now, we have a battle to win here!" James said.
"It's bad enough that you show up when no one wanted you, but you switch sides?" Cassidy asked.
"You got some nerve faking your deaths like that!" Butch added.
"We just didn't want to disappoint you, but we have a mission to bring down Team Rocket as Team Anti-Rocket!" Jessie said.
"Instead of stealing Pokémon, we are rescuing them from your clutches! Just like that fortune telling scam of yours," James admitted.
"So, it was you! We should have known! And we should have know it was too good to be true to be rid you!" Cassidy said.
"I always knew you were losers before, but I never thought you would be traitors!" Butch added.
"Giovanni left us to rot in Hoenn, and now, we're giving some payback! Arbok! Poison Fang on Sableye!" Jessie ordered.
"Carnivine! Bullet Seed on Mightyena!" James ordered. Carnivine fires Bullet Seed at Mightyena as Sableye got bit by Arbok. "Vine Whip on them both!" Carnivine lands a Vine Whip onto Sableye and Mightyena. "Now, use Bite on Sableye!" Carnivine bites onto Sableye. Distracted, Wobbufett heads for the Pokéballs and pushes them back to Professor Oak.
"Thank you, Wobbufett," Professor Oak said.
"Wobbufett," Wobbufett said.
"Arbok! use Wrap on Cassidy and Butch!" Jessie ordered. Arbok wrapped his body around the Team Rocket agents. "Okay Sora! Now!"
"Right! Pikachu! Thunderbolt on Mightyena!" Sora ordered. Pikachu lands a finishing Thunderbolt on Mightyena. The bite Pokémon had been taken down and the good guys had won once again. "Looks like we win."
Cassidy groaned, "That means no big promotion for us."
"Oh, you'll have plenty of time to think about that," Sunset Shimmer said.
"From jail!" Rainbow Dash added.
Cassidy and Butch were tied up by Bentley and Chunky Kong along with Sableye and Mightyena. The police came and arrested Cassidy and Butch. Jessie and James hid since they knew the police will recognize them from the wanted posters. Once that was over and done with, Sora and Kairi had loads of questions to ask.
"How did you survive the explosion? Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre destroyed the submarine you were on," Sora said.
"There was an escape pod in the sub. We used it before it was blown to smithereens," James said.
"And why didn't you come back after Team Magma and Team Aqua were stopped?" Kairi asked.
"We had to start our mission to take down Team Rocket. We're sorry for scaring you like that, but it was the only way," Jessie said.
"After that, we came back here in the Kanto region and we've been foiling Team Rocket's heists with Genghis and Kahnnie working on the inside," James said.
"Well, I'm happy that you're alive, but why didn't you take me with you?" Meowth asked.
"It's becuase you deserve a better life, Meowth. We didn't used to think so when we were with Team Rocket, but we think differently now," Jessie said.
"I guess that's reason enough. And here's one thing I wanted to give you right now," Meowth said.
"What?" Jessie and James asked. Meowth scratched across their faces. "THAT WAS FOR SCARING THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS OUT OF ME, YOU JERKS! DON'T YOU EVER DO THAT AGAIN!"
"Let's be honest, Jess, we both saw this was coming," James said.
"Yeah, but it was worth it," Jessie said.
"Well, I should be upset with you for doing that, but you helped save all of mine and Kairi's Pokémon and we should be grateful for that. I know I am," Sora said.
"So, thank you," Kairi said. Jessie and James smiled having to be thanked after everything they did to steal Pikachu from Sora and for everything else.
"Putting the thanks behind us, we got some troubling news that you should know about. And it is very huge," Jessie said.
"Troubling news?" Professor Oak asked.
"What do you mean?" Yuta asked.
"The reason Cassidy and Butch came here to steal their Pokémon is becuase they plan onusing them in some kind of experiment for a project their working on. We don't know what kind of project it is, but it could bring danger to people and Pokémon everywhere," James said.
"A project?" Twilight asked.
"Yes, and they captured Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres because of it," Jessie said.
"If it's bad as they say it is, we're in huge trouble," Charmy said.
"Genghis and Kahnnie are already working on trying to figure out what they're planning," Jessie said. Their communicator goes off and Jessie answers it. "Jessie here."
"Jessie, James! It's getting even worse by the minute!" Kahnnie said.
"How so?" James asked.
"Giovanni has completely lost it! He's planning on using the device he's building to destroy the unity between people and Pokémon!" Genghis said. Everyone all gasped when they heard it.
"What?! That can't be!" Jessie exclaimed.
"It is! They already tested it on Articuno, Zapdos. and Moltres! And it was a success! That's why Giovanni sent them to Professor Oak's lab. You gotta hurry an-" Genghis said, before getting cut off.
"Kahnnie! Gengis! Come in! Speak to us!" Jessie said. Matori appeared on screen.
"I'm sorry, but the transmission you are on has been comprimised. Please call back and try again never," Maori said.
"Matori!" Jessie,James, and Meowth exclaimed.
"Giovanni was right when he suspected a leak within our organiztion. But also a trio of traitors back from the dead. You're going to wish that you stayed dead," Matori said.
"Not if we have anything to say about it," Jessie said. Matori cuts the communication.
Over in Team Rocket HQ, Genghis and Kahnnie had been found out and they have their hands tied together.
"I knew that the traitors were going to reveal themselves as soon as the purpose of the project was revealed," Matori said. "But I never expected this turn of events."
"Just you wait, Matori. Your plan is going to fail!" Genghis said.
"Jessie and James will stop you and Giovanni!" Kahnnie added.
"I doubt it. And I don't doubt that Cassidy and Butch have failed their objective. No matter, they have served their purpose. Giovanni has no need of them anymore," Matori said as she laughed. "Let's go pay him a visit and let him decide what to do." The Team Rocket grunts took their prisoners with them to show the Team Rocket boss the traitors.
Back in Professor Oak's lab, Sora clutched his fist, having to hear Giovanni's plan out of the blue.
"And I thought they had crossed every kind of line there was, but this is the last straw that broke the Camerupt's back," Sora said.
"I'm with you, Sora. They're not gonna get away with this," Riku said.
"With Jessie and James on our side now, this gives us an advantage, because they're the only ones who know where they're hiding," Sora said.
"And me too," Meowth said.
"Team Rocket wants a war, and that's what were going to give them. Team Rocket has been stealing Pokémon from other trainers for so long, and now, they're going to destroy the unity that bonds us with them is going too far!" Sora said.
"I'm with you, Sora. Team Rocket cannot be allowed to do whatever they want," Kairi said.
"But how are we going to take down an entire organization, Sora? It's just us, a crocodile detective, a ninja chameleon, a bee, seven teenage girls with magic powers, a dog, two robots, apes, a half crocodile and half dingo thing, a cheetah, a rabbit, a kangaroo, a flying penguin, a yeti, and a space monkey," Riku pointed out.
"We can handle ourselves just fine," Bentley said.
"We also got some additional help," Jessie said. She opened the door to reveal Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brendan, May, Tai, Kari, Matt, TK, Sara, Izzy, Mimi, Joe, Davis, Cody, Yolei, Ken, Takuya, Koji, Kouichi, JP, Tommy, Zoe, Mime Jr., Munchlax, Takato, Henry, Rika, Jeri, Kenta, Kazu, Guil, Impidimp, Yugi, Zeraora, Téa, Joey, Triston, Duke, Mai, and Serenity standing outside the professor's doorstep.
"I called them all here," Red said, showing up in his regular appaerence. "It's been a long time, Sora."
"Red!" Sora said.
"We don't have time to talk, Sora! We got a world to save!" Red said.
"You're right, we do!" Sora said.
"Sora, please be careful," Delia said.
"I will," Sora said. He turned to everyone. "Let's go!"
YEAH!" Everyone all agreed.
With that said, Sora led an army consisting of Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Riku, Eevee, Jessie, James, Meowth, Red, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brendan, May, Tai, Kari, Matt, TK, Sara, Izzy, Mimi, Joe, Davis, Cody, Yolei, Ken, Takuya, Koji, Kouichi, JP, Tommy, Zoe, Mime Jr., Munchlax, Takato, Henry, Rika, Jeri, Kenta, Kazu, Guil, Impidimp, Yugi, Zeraora, Téa, Joey, Triston, Duke, Mai, Serenity, Team Chaotix, the Mane Seven, Spike, Dingodile, Time Man, Oil Man, the Kongs, Hunter, Bianca, Shiela, Sgt. Byrd, Bentley, and Agent 9. They marched their way to Team Rocket headquarters for the final showdown. Duo is heading for the same direction as are Wario and Waluigi.
