Episode 291: Sora vs Giovanni
In Giovanni's office, he gazes upon the seven Chaos Emeralds he has in his clutches. He laughs as the negative energy from each one of them flows into his body, corrupting his mind at an alarming rate in recent days.
"Everthing is going exactly according to plan," Giovanni said. His eyes glowed red for a brief moment. A knock came to the door. "Yes! What is it?"
"Sir, I have come barring news," Matori said through the door. "I have identified the leak." Giovanni turned to the door.
"Enter," Giovanni said. Matori enters the room with Genghis and Kahnnie with their hands tied behind their backs. "Here are the leaks, sir. Genghis and Kahnnie. These two have been selling secrets to the authorities. They are the reason for our recent failures."
"Is that so? I never would have guessed it," Giovanni said.
"That's right, we did. And we'd do it again if given the chance!" Genghis said.
"After the way you abandoned Jessie and James, why not double-cross you?" Kahnnie asked.
"Why do you care so much about those fools? They have been nothing but a huge waste of time since they were recruited," Giovanni said.
"They treated us far better than you ever would have," Kahnnie said.
"Team Anti-Rocket is dedicated in destroying Team Rocket once and for all," Genghis said. Giovanni laughed very evilly. Matori was troubled by this laughter.
"You're little escapades has ended before it even begun! I'll deal with you two after I my work is complete," Giovanni said. He turned to Matori. "Matori, lock them in them brig."
"Yes sir," Matori said. She and the other grunts left him as Giovanni had made contact with Ganondorf and the other villains.
"Good news, Project Dark Heart is now officially underway. And on top of that, the legendary Pokémon, Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres hare now within our hold. We shall unleash them into the world and bring chaos. And then, our machine will fire the negative energies of the seven Choas Emeralds, infecting every Pokémon on the entire planet," Giovanni said.
"Excellent work, Giovanni. We very pleased by our efforts," Ganondorf said.
"How so will you all arrive? And where might I find you?" Giovanni asked.
"Don't worry about that. We'll come directly to you," Ganondorf said. Giovanni was a tad confused as a dimensional rift opened in his office. Ganondorf, Bowser, King K. Rool, King Dedede, Dr. Wily, Dr. Eggman, Sigma, Risky Boots, Gnasty Gnorc, Ripto, and the Sorceress all entered his office. "It is nice to officially meet you, Giovanni. I am Ganondorf and I welcome you into the Brotherhood of Darkness."
"And I am honored to be a part of this little gathering," Giovanni said.
Over to Duo, he sensed the evil was getting greater with each passing second.
"What can this be?" Duo asked himself. "I cannot stop now. I must hurry before it's too late." The extraterrestrial robot flew through the skies and continued on to find the evil source.
Over to Sora and the rest, they venture through the rock terrain, home to many Diglett, Geodude, and Graveler living there.
"How much further are we?" Sora asked.
"We're almost there. It should be up ahead," Jessie said.
"Good, we're going to give them a visit they won't forget," Sora said.
"Before we get to that point, you should know that Team Rocket headquarters will be heavily guarded, like a fortress. They're not going to let us just waltz right in," James said.
"He's right, Sora. We need a plan before we storm the place," Riku said.
"Any ideas?" Red asked.
"What we need is a distraction. Get the guards away from the entrance. Maybe something they don't expect to happen," Sora said.
"Like what?" Ethan asked.
"I don't know, but something," Sora thought for a moment. He looked at Kiddy Kong and then, rigght at Chunky Kong. He then got an idea. "I think I just got it one."
Over to Wario and Waluigi, they made their way close to Team Rocket HQ. THey were certain that there were some valuables inside there.
"You think there could be mountains of treasure inside that place?" Waluigi asked.
"There's gotta be, why else would they have a place like that?" Wario asked.
"Point taken. Now, let's get in there and fill our pockets!" Waluigi said.
"Now, you're talking!" Wario said as he and Waluigi come sliding down the hillside. Wario and Waluigi both share a laugh.
"Treasure, treasure, treasure, treasre, treasre, treasre!" Wario and Waluigi sang.
They made it down to tthe bottom and met a steel fence. They saw barbed wires at the top. A secured location just made them want that treasure even badly.
Matori locked Genghis and Kahnnie in the brig. She shoved the Team Rocket traitors in the cell.
"You'll stay in there until you rot!" Matori stated. She locked them inside it. She turned to two of the grunts. "Stay and make sure they don't make an attempt to escape!"
"Yes, ma'am," one of the grunts said. The door shuts behind her.
The group made it to Team Rocket HQ with a couple of grunts standing watch.
"So, that's it. Team Rocket headquarters. No wonder nobody ever found them," Sora said.
"You mean, no one has ever found and did a raid on them?" Sunset Shimmer asked.
"If they did, they'd be history by now," Sora said.
"So, how are we gonna get in?" Joey asked.
"Kiddy Kong will draw their attention and make those guards chase them. Oil Man will make an oil puddle and make them slip. And that's where Bianca will use her magic to tie them up and teleport them to the police. And that's when we storm the place," Sora said.
"How are we gonna do that without tripping an alarm or two?" Charmy asked.
"Genghis and Kahnnie already thought that ahead. They gave me and James an alarm disabler. The alarms will be disabled," Jessie said, holding a small device.
"So, they'll activate once we're inside, so none of the alarms will sound," James said.
"Then, all we gotta do is get inside and deal with every member of Team Rocket we see, right?" Agent 9 asked.
"Yes," Everyone all said.
"Sweeeee~eeeeet!" Agent 9 said as he chuckled.
"And we'll rescue every Pokémon that's inside the place before it's too late," Tai said.
"It should be a machine that operates it, shouldn't there?" Vector asked.
"I think so. Atilla and Hun had one when they tried to catch Raikou," Sora said.
"Then, let's get this show on the road. The more we sit on our tushes, the more time they have to turn it on," Riku said.
"Riku's right, we can't afford to stand around and do nothing," Duke said. Everyone all agreed. He turned to Kiddy, Oil Man, and Bianca.
"You know what to do?" Sora asked.
"Like you have to ask," Oil Man said.
"We're on it," Bianca said.
Kiddy Kong got to work as Oil Man had set his trap. The young Kong grabbed a rock and threw it. It struck one of the grunts. They saw the infant ape as he blew a raspberry at them.
"Why you!" The first grunt chased the baby Kong and gets the attention of the other grunt.
"Hey, where are you going?" The second grunt asked. He followed the first one. Kiddy jumped over the oil with a mighty jump as the two grunts slipped and fell on the oil. Bianca waved her magic wand.
"Tie them up!" Bianca said and zapped them with her magic. Bianca's magic whips up some rope and it tied the grunts up. "Send them to the police!" Bianca waved her wand and they vanished. They appear in the middle of the Viridian City police department. All the cops drew out their guns and pointed them at the Team Rocket grunts.
"How did we get here?" One of the grunts asked.
Back outside of Team Rocket HQ, phase one was complete and they all entered the building. Jessie and James activated their alarm disablers and deactivated all of the alarms. But that didn't stop them from being seen through the surveillance cameras.
"What the?! Intruders?!" One of the grunts exclaimed.
"How did they get in here?" Another grunt asked.
"Wait, isn't one of them Sora, the Pokémon League Champion?" Another grunt asked.
"Let's get them!" Another grunt said.
All of the grunts went to deal with the invaders as one of the grunts went to sound the alarm.
"Huh? What the hell is going on?! Why aren't the alarms going off?!" A grunt asked. A female grunt shows up.
"What are you doing? Sound the alarm!" The female grunt ordered.
"I'm trying to, but it's not responding!" The male grunt said.
Several grunts have shown up to stop them. Pinkie Pie jumped in front of them and used her magic as she threw some sprinkles.
"Surprise!" Pinkie Pie shouted and they explode upon contact. Some of the grunts tried to call out their Pokémon, Twilight uses her magic telepathy to lift them out while Rarity uses her diamond magic to restrain them.
"Honestly, all those uniforms are crimes against fashion," Rarity said. Agent 9 zapped some of the grunts as he laughed.
"They may not be Rhynocs, but zapping them is loads of fun!" Agent 9 exclaimed. "Who else feels lucky? Well, who else, punks?" Dingodile sucked in some Pokéballs and sent them right back at them.
"Break out the butter, cuz I'm gonna make toast!" Dingodile said. Despite working for Cortex and Uka Uka during the Time Twister Machine incident, Dingodile wanted to fry Crash and Coco into a crisp, but after his defeat, he went into retirement and opened up his own diner, only to be blown up by Risky Boots's Tinkerbats. "Have some more, ya buggers!" Dingodile swiped his tail at a grunt and sent him flying. Hunter shot some arrows and pinned them to the walls as Sgt. Byrd fired his rockets at the grunts and they are covered in smut. Bentley swung his club as Sheila gave them a kick. Time Man threw his clock hand arrows the same way as Espio threw his kunai and placed them on the walls. Chunky and Kiddy Kong bowled a dozen over and Lanky gave them a smack. Hearing the commotion, Matori steps downwards.
"WHAT IS GOING ON OUT HERE?!" Matori yelled. A grunt ran up to her to explain the situation to her.
"There are invaders in HQ! Some kids and a bunch of freaks!" The grunt explained.
"What?! How did they find us?" Matori asked. She turned to the grunt. "Why haven't the alarms been sounded?"
"I don't know, they were working just fine when we did our drill last week," the grunt said.
"Stay here and deal with them, I'll inform Giovanni of the situation!" Matori said.
"Yes, ma'am!" Matori said.
Sora smiled to see it was going in favor of the good guys. But there was one thing left to do: and that was dealing with Giovanni himself. He turned to Jessie and James.
"Where's Giovanni's office?" Sora asked.
"On the top of the building! He should be there right now!" Jessie answered.
"That's where I'm going!" Sora said. He turned to his partner. "Come on, Pikachu! Let's go!"
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
"We'll deal with the rest of Team Rocket! You go after Giovanni!" Kairi said.
"On it!" Sora said.
"Give him hell, Sora!" Riku said.
Wario and Waluigi had made their way inside with several more grunts going down the halls.
"Wonder what all the excitement is about," Waluigi said.
"Maybe a baby shower? Whatever it is, it's a good distraction for us to loot around," Wario said. Wario and Waluigi went to find what they're looking for.
Giovanni led his otherwordly associates to Project Dark Heart, located in an underground lab, under Team Rocket headquarters. It was a machine, operated by several Team Rocket scientists. Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres were injected with the negative energies of the Chaos Emeralds.
"And here we are. Project Dark Heart," Giovanni said. Bowser gave an impressive whistle.
"Now, this is something," Bowser said.
"So, these are the birds of legend," Ganondorf said.
"Indeed. The bird of ice, Articuno, the bird of lightning, Zapdos, and the bird of fire, Moltres. They have been given the negative energies of the seven Choas Emeralds, fueling their hatred for humanity," Giovanni said.
"Very fascinating creatures aren't they?" Ganondorf asked.
"I agree. The power they're giving off is truly astounding," Sigma said.
"Not really into birds, but they look okay to me," King K. Rool said.
"Just how powerful is this little toy of yours, really is?" The Sorceress asked.
"Extremely powerful. When the unity between Pokémon and humans is destroyed, the world will be easy for Team Rocket to rule," Giovanni said.
"That's all nice and all, but why just rule only one world when we can rule a whole lot of worlds?" Ripto asked.
"Yes. This world will only be the beginning for me. And with all of us together, we can rule it all," Giovanni said.
"Just how soon will it be ready?" Gnasty Gnorc asked.
"We will begin soon enough," Giovanni said, laughing. The villains grinned as their betrayal was drawing near. Just then, Giovanni's cellphone rings.
"Excuse me, I'm going have to get rid of this call," Giovanni said, answering his phone. He whispered just so the other villains won't hear him, "What is it?"
"Sir, we have a situation on our hands! An unknown party has just invaded HQ and they are making quick work of our forces!" Matori said.
"Then, drive them back!" Giovanni ordered while gritting his teeth. He hung up.
"There isn't anything wrong?" Ganondorf asked.
"Oh, just a small detail. Shall we continue?" Giovanni asked.
Sora and Pikachu made their way up to Giovanni's office. Unknown to him, Wario and Waluigi saw him and Pikachu go running by.
"Hey, that the kid we saw before in that contest?" Wario asked.
"What's he doing here?" Waluigi asked.
"Muscling in our future, that's what!" Wario said.
"Maybe we should follow him and see where he goes. And after that, we snatch the prize from him!" Waluigi said. Wario laughs.
"Good idea. Glad I thought of it," Wario said. He and Waluigi followed Sora right up to Giovanni's office. When they finally reached Giovanni's office. Wario and Waluigi hid in the hall and waited for the right moment. Sora busted through the door. "Giovanni! Come out!"
"He isn't here, kid," a voice said. Sora turned to see Matori behind him. "And it's rude to come barging in when you haven't made an appointment. I will very much appreciate that you leave our premises." Sora glared at the security, defiantly.
"Make me," Sora said. Matori didn't like the tone of his face.
"What did you say?" Matori asked.
"I said, make me," Sora said.
"Oh, I most certainly will make you," Matori said. She took out a Pokéball and threw it. "Meowth! Sharpen your claws!" Her Alolan Meowth came out to battle Pikachu. "Meowth! Teach that brat a lesson with Fury Swipes!" The Alolan Meowth jumped to swipe at Pikachu.
"Dodge and use Quick Attack!" Sora ordered. Pikachu dodged the Alolan scratch cat Pokémon's Fury Swipes and landed a Quick Attack. "Now, use Iron Tail!" Pikachu swung his tail at the Alolan Meowth.
"Meowth! Night Slash!" Matori ordered. The Alolan Meowth came at Pikachu with its paw emitting a dark aura.
"Dodge it, Pikachu!" Sora called out as Pikachu dodged, but the Alolan Meowth swiped at Pikachu with Night Slash. Pikachu landed on the floor.
"Now, use Shadow Claw!" Matori ordered. The Alolan Meowth came at Pikachu with Shadow Claw when Kairi stepped in for the rescue.
"Angel! Swift!" Kairi ordered. Angel fired Swift and it struck the Alolan Meowth. Sora turned to see Kairi entering the office. "Riku sent me up to assist you."
"And I'm grateful, Kairi!" Sora said. He was glad his girlfriend had come to his aide. Matori was angered by Kairi's interference.
"How dare you!" Matori hissed.
"Iron Tail!" Sora ordered. Pikachu smacks the Alolan Meowth and smacks into Matori. Sora and Kairi tied Matori in a restraint and Sora calls the Alolan Meowth back in its Pokéball, just so she won't get out. "Your fault for getting distracted."
"You damn brats! You're going to pay for this!" Matori growled.
"You can put that on our tabs. Right now, tell us where Giovanni is," Sora said. Matori laughed.
"You're already too late. Giovanni is already preparing to put Project Dark Heart into effect," Matori said. Sora and Kairi were confused.
"Project Dark Heart?" Sora asked.
"It's what we have been working on for months. When Project Dark Heart is a success, the unity of humans and Pokémon will be destroyed forever!" Matori said.
"Not if we put a stop to it first," Sora said.
"You? Stop Project Dark Heart? Don't make me laugh," Matori said. "If you are going to look for him, just try going underground. Like you would stand a chance." Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel stormed out the office with Wario and Waluigi were hiding and listening to their talk.
"Underground!" Wario and Waluigi said as they followed the couple.
Back at the battle with the grunts, several of the grunts launched a counter attack against the invaders, but they weren't giving up that easily. Tai and his two Dragonite overpowered the executives and their Pokémon as Espio had made good work of Attila and Hun.
"Those who live a life without honor will die without honor," Espio said.
Riku, Ethan, Brendan, Kris, Lyra, and May sent Eevee, Typhlosion, Feraligatr, Meganium, and Combusken to battle the Team Rocket Pokémon.
Matt sent out a blue Midday Form Lycanroc, an Arcanine, a Houndoom, a Growlithe, an Electrike, and a Manectric while TK sent out a Golbat, Rhyhorn, Nidoking, Mantine, a Venomoth, and a Furret. Kari sent out a Nidoqueen, a Clefable, a Butterfree, and a Delcatty to battle. Izzy sent out a Scizor, a Heracross, a Pinsir, a Beedrill, and a Ledian joining in. Joe had sent out a Seel, a Dewgong, a Spheal, a Sealeo, and a Walrein out. Sara has sent out a Pidgeot and a Swellow to battle. Mimi had sent out a Bellossom, a Cacnea, a Parasect, and a Sunflora to battle. Davis sent out a Bagon, a Gyarados, and a Kangaskhan. Yolei sent out a Stantler, a Yanma, a Yanmega, and a Toucannon. Cody sent out a Sandshrew, a Politoed, an Ampharos, a Donphan, and a Kecleon. Ken sent out a Noctowl, a Tauros, and a Sandslash. Amy sends out a Wigglytuff, a Rapidash, and a Sylveon. Henry sent out a Nidorino as Jeri sent out an Altaria. Kazu sent out a Magneton and Kenta sent out a Castform. Zoe sent out a Beautifly, Koji sent out an Espeon and Koichi sent out an Umbreon. Tommy sent out a Snorunt. Takato, Rika, and Takuya has Aguni, Guil, and Ninetales battling.
Yugi has Zeraora battling as Téa has sent out a Jynx and an Alakazam, Joey sent out a Lickitung and a Machoke. Tristan sent out an Onix, Duke sent out a Steelix, Mai sent out an Absol, and Serenity sent out a Vulpix.
Some of the Team Rocket Pokémon were tangoing with some of the otherwordly visitors. Bentley was wrestling with a Machamp while Vector was dealing with a Granbull. Sgt. Byrd managed to take down some of the flying Pokémon down with his missles.
The Mane Seven used their magic to assist them anyway they can. Fluttershy called upon the Geodude and Graveler living in the area to help out.
Bianca used the same magic as before to tie the Team Rocket members onto one giant rope. That included the executives.
"No! How could we have been defeated?!" Archer exclaimed.
"You lost because you guys picked the wrong side. Team Rocket has finally been defeated!" Riku said. Archer laughed.
"You may have won the battle, but you have lost the war. Team Rocket will rule the world and the unity between Pokémon and humans will be destroyed forever. Project Dark Heart will make that dream your worse nightmare," Archer said.
"Don't be so sure. Sora will stop your little project. He and Kairi whooped your asses and he'll kick Giovanni's ass!" Riku proclaimed.
"Eevee!" Eevee agreed.
"You are welcome to try to stop him, but it's too late to stop what has begun," Archer said. Riku turned to Bianca and nodded. "Giovanni will succeed and you will fai-" Archer's words were cut when Bianca teleported them all out of HQ and right in the police station. So far, it's most of the members of Team Rocket. Back in Team Rocket HQ, Riku knew the only one left is Giovanni himself.
"Now, there's only Giovanni," Riku said.
"We should rescue all the Pokémon they have stolen in over the years," Sunset Shimmer suggested.
"I know where they keep those. You'll be needing me to get to them," Meowth said.
"And we can get to Genghis and Kahnnie," James said.
"You guys lead the way," Riku said. Riku and Eevee followed Jessie and James o the cells as the rest went to liberate the Pokémon from their captives.
Sora Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel reached an elevator, leading underground. They entered the elevator as soon as it opened.
"Going down," Sora said with the elevator doors have closed.
Down to Giovanni, he shows Ganondorf and the other the other villains controls of the machine.
"Your device astounds me, Giovanni. Dr. Wily, Dr. Eggman, and Sigma's technology shares its marvels with yours," Ganondorf said.
"I am pleased to hear your praise, my friends," Giovanni said.
"The way it's going, it's showing to be very promising," Bowser said.
Your men hard work is paying off," Risky Boots said.
"I do run a tight ship, my dear. No one slacks off on my watch, I can assure you," Giovanni said.
"Are we going to get this thing started or what?" Dr. Eggman asked.
"Of course. Let's begin," Giovanni said. He acivated the machine and it raises to a satelitte. It fires a red beam of energy and hits a Team Rocket satellite and reflects back down to earth. It struck the Hoenn region as Pokémon everywhere were going berserk. Pikachu's ears perk up when he senses something.
"Pika?!" Pikachu exclaimed.
"Pikachu? What's wrong?" Sora asked.
"Pika, Pika, Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"You think it's happened?" Sora asked.
"Pikachu," Pikachu nodded.
"We better stop it before it gets worse," Kairi said.
"Right! Let's go!" Sora said. He, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel continue towards to the machine. Little does Giovanni realize that the Choas Virus was now taking effect. The beam of red energy turned black. Giovanni wasn't expecting this to happen.
"What is going on?" Giovanni asked.
"I don't know, sir! There appears to be some sort of glitch!" One of the scientists said.
"How is that possible? I have taken every necessary precaution!" Giovanni exclaimed.
"It appears that something has gone atray," Ganondorf said.
"I can assure you that this was not part of the plan," Giovanni assured his partners.
"Is this part of the plan?" Sora called out, catching the attention of Giovanni, Ganondorf, and the other villains. "Your project ends here and now!"
"No, it's too late to stop what has begun, boy!" Giovanni said. "I have worked hard to make this a reality and no one is going to take it away from me!"
"That's what you think, Giovanni! Me and my friends have taken down your flunkies! And I've come here just for you," Sora said.
"Ugh, a detemined brat, one of my pet peeves," Risky Boots said.
"You may have defeated my organization for now, but it's not over! I can always find more evildoers to do my evil whims! This world will be mine to rule and you two are going to be destroyed!" Giovanni said, taking out a Pokéball that has a Team Rocket design. "Persian! Go!" Giovanni threw it and his Persian came out to battle.
"Pikachu! Go!" Sora called out. Pikachu stepped into battle against Giovanni's Persian.
"My money's on the cat," Bowser said, laughing.
"This should be fun to watch," King Dedede said.
"Persian! Begin with your Shadow Claw!" Giovanni ordered. Persian lunged towards Pikachu.
"Dodge and use Iron Tail!" Sora ordered. Pikachu jumped and avoided Persian's Shadow Claw. Pikachu swung his tail and smacks the classy cat Pokémon.
"Power Gem!" Giovanni ordered. Persian fires Power Gem and the beam of energy heads for Pikachu.
"Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered. Pikachu fired Thunderbolt and it blocks Persian's attack. They hold their two attacks and results in an explosion. Pikachu was taken back as Persian leapt towards Pikachu.
"Use Slash!" Giovanni ordered. Persian slashed at the mouse Pokémon. "Now use Bite!" Persian lands a bite onto Pikachu. "Excellent, my pet."
"Pikachu!" Sora gasped. Pikachu gets back up on his feet.
"How could that rat still want to have a go?" The Sorcress asked.
"The yellow's creature has a strong spirit just like the child. Such spirits aren't easily broken," Ganondorf said.
"Quick Attack!" Sora ordered. Pikachu dashed right at the classy cat Pokémon. Persian stayed right where he is.
"Shadow Claw!" Giovanni ordered. Persian swiped his claw at Pikachu when he got close enough. "Now, use Bite!" Persian lands a Bite onto Pikachu's back.
Ripto laughed, "This is even better than wrestling!" Persian gave Pikachu a toss and right towards the scientists.
"After it!" Giovanni comanded. Persian jumped in after Pikachu. The mouse Pokémon tried to avoid Persian, but Persian's agility made it harder to avoid.
Over to Genghis and Kahnnie, the two guards were still standing guard, but Eevee, Seviper, and Weezing attacked the guards. Riku, Jessie, and James entered the cells.
"Jessie! James!" Genghis and Kahnnie exclaimed with happiness.
"You didn't think we'd leave you hanging, did you?" James asked.
"Not for a second," Genghis said. Seviper bashes the lock and opens the cell.
"We're so happy to see you're safe," Jessie said.
"Same here. How did you get pass everyone else?" Genghis asked.
"We have some help. They're getting all of the stolen Pokémon out as we speak," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
"We have to stop Giovanni now!" Kahnnie said.
"We're on a full agreement there. Let's get cracking," Riku said.
Riku, Eevee, and Team Anti-Rocket rush out to find Giovanni.
Outside, Duo sees the black beam of energy and plows through inside. Wario and Waluigi heads for the elevator the couple went down in, but the ceiling collapses and destroys the elevator.
"No! Our riches!" Wario and Waluigi cries.
Over to Tai, Takato, Takuya, Yugi, and the rest, they placed all of the Pokéballs in a cart.
"That's the last one," Hunter said.
"So many people are going to be so happy to have these back," Amy said.
"And that nobody will worry about having their Pokémon stolen by Team Rocket again after today," Joey said.
"That'll be a giant relief to everyone," Oil Man said. They room suddenly shakes. "What was that?" Oil Man got his answer when a wisp of blue energy came crashing through.
"Duo!" Oil Man and Time Man recognized.
"Friend of yours?" Vector asked.
"Sort of," Time Man said.
"What are you doing here?" Oil Man asked.
"I was in outer space when I recieved a transmission from Dr. Light. When I was on my way there, I ended up in this universe. And as soon as I arrived, I sensed some sort of evil, so I followed it right to its sourcce. When I arrived here, I saw an energy I am not familiar with," Duo explained.
"Energy?" Davis asked.
"Going up into the sky?" Charmy asked.
"Yes. I am sensing some kind of evil coming from the energy," Duo said.
"That has got to be Team Rocket's satellite it's aiming at. That's probably how they're doing it. Unless we can fly up into space, we'll have to take it down!" Meowth said.
"I see," Duo said. He looked up to the ceiling. "I know what I must do. I must destroy the satelitte."
"While you do that, we'll go look for Sora and Kairi. They're probably dealing with Team Rocket's boss," Bianca said.
"And we'll have to call the police that way they'll know where to find us," Kari said.
"Then let's move!" Rika said.
With that said, Duo surrounded himself with blue energy and heads for space. Duo reached the earth's atmosphere and saw the satelitte ahead of him. Duo flew right through the satellite, destroying it comepletely. All of the Pokémon in the Hoenn region were going back to normal. No one was sure what could have caused it.
Back to the battle between Sora and Giovanni, one the scientist caught wind of the satellite's destruction.
"Sir! Our satellite has been destroyed!" One of the scientists said.
"WHAT?! How could that be?!" Giovanni exclaimed. Ganondorf and the other villains weren't expecting this turn of events. A dimensional rift opens and all of the villains made their exit, except for Ganondorf as he continued to watch. Giovanni glared at Sora with such rage. "You! Somehow you are responsible for this! I will destroy you here and now! Persian! Power Gem all around!" Persian was worried, but he obeyed his master and fired Power Gem everywhere. Giovanni didn't care if he destroys een himself. Kairi and Angel took shelter behind a desk as Persian kept firing. Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres werre going back to normal as they felt the negative energies leave their bodies and flows right into Giovanni. His whole body glows into a dark aura and his eyes glows red. Sora saw the dark aura and looked right into his eyes. He knew it wasn't a natural sight to see.
"What is going on?" Sora asked.
Persian fired Power Gem into the machine, causing it to explode. Giovanni, Persian, Sora, and Pikachu get caught in the blast. Kairi was horrified to see her boyfriend hurt.
"SORA!" Kairi cried with tears flowing from her eyes. Sora and Pikachu make a rough landing. Blood comes out his mouth as he felt his ribs shatter. She and Angel ran up to their signifigant others. "Sora. Please don't die." Sora opened his eyes and he wiped away her tears.
"What did I tell you about smiling, Kairi? You know that's the only thing I wanna see," Sora said. Kairi was happy to see her boyfriend was still alive. Angel nuzzles Pikachu and he was in bad shape like Sora, but he was also alive.
"Sora! I thought I lost you for a moment!" Kairi embraced her boyfriend.
"Ow, ow, ow, ow!" Sora cried. She let's go of him.
"Sorry," Kairi apologized.
"What about Giovanni?" Sora asked.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said weakly.
"He is alive," Ganondorf said. Sora glared at the warlock as he turned to see him. "It would appear that he has failed to live up to his promise. But no matter. This world will belong to us all the same." Ganondorf turned to face him.
"Who are you? And why are you here?" Sora asked. A dimensional rift opens and Ganondorf heads for it and takes with the Chaos Emeralds with him.
"Savor your victory for now, boy. But we will meet again," Ganondorf said, taking his leave.
"Hey! Come back here!" Sora yelled.
"Let it go, Sora! He's gone!" Kairi said.
"Still, what was that about?" Sora asked. Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres were free from their cages and went up to the couple. Mew suddenly appeared before them. "Mew." Mew places its hand on Sora's chest and then Sora and Pikachu glowed blue and their injuries heals completely. "I was just healed by Mew."
"Pikachu," Pikachu said. Mew smiled and teleported everyone outside. Giovanni and Persian were still unconscious.
"What about him and-?" Sora asked before Mew teleported him, Pikachu, Kairi, Angel, Giovanni, and Persian right back to their friends.
"Sora, Kairi," Twilight said.
"You're okay," Bianca said.
"Did we win?" Sgt. Byrd asked.
"I'll say that we did," Meowth said.
"Is he dead?" Fluttershy asked.
"No, he's out cold," Sora said.
"Well, let's tie him up," Bentley suggested. Sora nodded as the yeti ties him up and Hunter dows the same for Persian. Duo came down from space.
"The satelitte has been destroyed," Duo said. Sora and Kairi were shocked to see the new robot.
"Who are you?" Sora asked.
"My name is Duo. I am not a being of this universe. Your friends have informed me of their mission, so I came here to asisst," Duo said.
"It's nice to meet you, Duo," Sora said, shaking the robot's large hand. "And thanks."
Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres flew out from their holding spot and flew back outside. Riku, Eevee, and Team Anti-Rocket along with Wario and Waluigi were heading towards everyone. They also have Matori tied up as well.
"What we miss?" Riku asked.
"Not much," Sora said, pointing at Giovanni. The building soon starts collapsing and they all rush out before any of them were crushed.
"That was close," Yugi said.
"The police should already be on their way here," Sara said.
"So, let's make ourselves easier to find," Sgt. Byrd said, flying. He fires his missles and come out as fireworks. A police helicopter roams through the rocky terrain. Officer Jenny and another police officer are piloting it.
"Are you sure this is where Team Rocket HQ is? It could be a prank," a police man said.
"After getting most of the Team Rocket members delivered to our doorsteps, I don't care if it's a prank or not," Officer Jenny said. The police officers saw the fireworks in the distance. "They said to look for fireworks." The helicopter follows the fireworks to its sources It lands and sees the group along with the Team Rocket boss. She and the other police officer stepped out. "I received a tip that about Team Rocket HQ is located somewhere in this location."
"Here it is, or what's left of it," Sora said, poiting to the crumbled ruins. "And here HE is. Giovanni, the boss of Team Rocket. He built a machine to destroy the unity between people and Pokémon."
"And here are all the Pokémon Team Rocket has stolen in all the years," Tai said, pointing to the Pokéballs. The police officer looked over at the Pokéballs and nodded. Giovanni regained consciousness and saw the police woman in front of him, holding out a pair of handcuffs.
"Giovanni, you are under arrest for crimes against humanity and Pokémon," Officer Jenny said. Giovanni and Matori both had sour looks on their faces.
After that, everyone all went home after Giovanni and Matori were taken into custody.
After several weeks, all of the remaining Team Rocket members have heard that their boss had been arrested, so they were either arrested or they turned themselves in. Every member of Team Rocket, except for Jessie, James, Genghis, and Kahnnie all stood trail for all their crimes. Napolean, Cassidy, Butch, Attila, Hun, Domino, Annie, Okaley, Matori, and the four Team Rocket executives were all given ten thousand years of prison, while Giovanni was given one hundred million years of prison. Giovanni, Matori, and the executives were locked in a maximum security prison while all of the rest were locked in a regular prison. Napolean was placed in the same prison cell as the two Pokémon hunters who kidnapped Kairi.
Now that Team Rocket was out of business for good, everyone and their Pokémon were now safe and they all owed it to Sora. He wasn't just a Pokémon League Champion, but a national hero.
"So, now that Team Rocket is history, what are you four going to do now?" Sora asked.
"The only left is to settle down and live the lives we want," James said.
"James and I are getting married and we'll need somewhere to tie the knot," Jessie said.
"Well, I think I have an idea," Sora said.
Rarity had prepared a beautiful wedding dress for Jessie and a white tuxedo for James. Genghis and Kahnnie were given the roles they were promised as Sora, Kairi, and their friends were witnessing the wedding. They were all in city hall in Viridian City where its mayor had agreed to give the ceremony himself. Wario and Waluigi were even attending.
"Friends and former enemies, we are gathered here today to bare witness to a union of love and join James and Jessie in holy matrimony. If there is any reason these two shall not be wed, speak now or forever hold your peace," the mayor said. Not one of them spoke a word of objection. "Now, then, do you James take this woman to be lawfully wedded wife, for as long you shall live?"
James answered, "I do."
"And do you Jessie, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband, for as long you shall live?"
Jessie answered, "I do."
"Then, by the power invested me as the mayor of Viridian City, I now pronounce you husband and wife," the mayor announced. "You may kiss the bride." James lifted up the veil and they kiss each other on the lips as everyone all applauded. Meowth was crying with happiness. Rarity was crying so heavily, her mascara was running.
"It's so beautiful!" Rarity cried.
Jessie gave the bridal bouquet a toss. Rarity wanted to catch it, but ended up in Kairi's hands. She looked at Sora who was now blushing. She looked at Jessie and she winked at her. She and Kairi knew they started off as enemies, but they wished each other luck in the future. Jessie and James drove in a car with tin cans tied in the back a long with a sign that reads "JUST MARRIED" and they drive off. Meowth waved goodbye to them. Sora and Kairi looked at Meowth.
"Are you sure you don't wanna go with them?" Sora asked.
"I'm sure. It'll be best if I gave them some alone time. Also, when they have their first baby, it'll be pretty noisy with all the crying and I needs my sleep. Also, I kinda liked hanging with you guys after what you did for me. When I told them that reason, they understood. Arbok, Weezing, Victreebel, Wobbufett, Seviper, Dustox, Cacnea, and Chimecho said their goodbyes to me. Wobbufett started crying and that got Arbok going, and then and we all let it out," Meowth said.
"We understand, Meowth. You're more than welcome to stay if you want to," Kairi said. Meowth beamed and gave the couple a hug. Pikachu and Angel joined in.
Over to the villains, they were pleased that their betrayal of Giovanni had gone even better than planed, even Sora coming into the scene made it even better.
"Gotta hand it to Giovanni, it's a shame that he didnt make the cut. He wouldn't have gotten far with us anyway," Sigma said.
"Too bad. We got the Choas Emeralds back and the Choas Virus worked even better than expected," Dr. Eggman said.
"Now, we got ourselves a new problem. That kid with the spiky hair. What are we going to do about him?" Bowser asked.
"Why are you so worried about some brat? He's not going to be a problem for us," Risky Boots said.
"Easy for you to say, Risky. I had to deal with a brat everyday for many years," the Sorcress said.
"I don't know, I'm with Risky Boots. He's nothing compared to us," Ripto said.
"He's not worth coddling," Dr. Wily said.
"Not saying that you're wrong, but we shouldn't take any chances with him," King K. Rool said.
"I think we could just flatten him like a pancake," King Dedede said.
"Or maybe turn him into crystal," Gnasty Gnorc suggested.
"No. For now, we leave him be. Remember that there are plenty of worlds and universes to conquer. And we will be using Giovanni's downfall as a reminder to us all. Where will find potential alleys, we will also find potential enemies. His world along with countless others will be ours, and there is nothing he can do to stop us," Ganondorf said.
