An extremely short little follow-up to the Holiday Songs prompt~ I could have done something shippy for Gabrian for a "mistletoe" prompt, but I decided a cute little platonic kiss would be nice :)

Day 18 prompt: Mistletoe
Some time had passed since Jemima had found Humphrey's head asleep in the baby's cot, since she had taken him down to her pantry, and since they had joined the other ghosts in their song from a safe distance. He'd gone back to sleep shortly after, and Jemima drifted off as well for a while, but now it was time for her to return him to the upstairs world.
She held him in the crook of her arm as she walked quietly through the house, until something above them caught her eye. She recognised it immediately and as she passed through the doorway, she lifted Humphrey a little higher and quickly pecked his cheek without breaking her stride. He frowned. Not in any sort of angry way, of course. Just curious.
"What was that for?"
Jemima turned around enough for him to see the bundle of leaves and berries hanging from the doorframe and pointed at it.
"There's mistletoe there."
"Oh!" Humphrey would have nodded in understanding if he could, "Well, that's very sweet of you, Jem."
