Episode 300: Sora vs Ash Round 2
A whole day has passed since the mission in Dreamland. They had to abandon the mission to get to King Dedede's castle to help some Blockys get their home back when taen over by a hostle Shiny Steelix and a Graveler. Sora could only wonder how much worse it could get even before. Kairi shared her boyfriend's concern as did Pikachu and Angel.
Sora and Kairi decided to try to get their minds off of their troubles by having a promised double date. Riku and Naminé joined Sora and Kairi for a movie for four. Riku wasn't much into romance movies, but he was willing to watch it along with Naminé. Pikachu and Angel were having their own date as they went to one of Pikachu's favorite spots in Pallet Town. Shantae, Amy, and some of the other girls thought it was cute that Pikachu and Angel were a match, like Sora and Kairi. Eevee was stuck babysitting Azurill until they got back. Cream and Cheese had taken a liking to Azurill.
"Wanna play dress-up, Azurill?" Cream asked.
"Chao, Chao, Chao," Cheese chirped.
"Azurill, Azurill, Azurill," Azurill chirped. Cream laughed.
"Which dress do you like to wear first?" Cream asked, holding up a couple of dresses, one being pink and one being yellow. Delia watched from the corner and smiled at the sight, wishing she had a little girl too.
"Cream is very cute, I can't stand it," Delia said.
Over to Meta Knight, he was still sore from the fight with Kairi's new Graveler, but at least the situation was under control for now. Brian gave the warrior some tea.
"Indeedee," Brian said. Meta Knight accepts the tea.
"Thank you, Brian," Meta Knight said. He took off his mask. Brian was shocked to see him without his mask. He was very identical to Kirby, except he could actually talk. Speaking of Kirby, he was with Yoshi, having some berries.
"What do you think, Kirby? You like?" Yoshi asked. Kirby took the Sitrus Berry from the dinosaur's hands and ate it. Kirby instantly liked it.
"Poyo, poyo, poyo!" Kirby chirped.
"I thought so, Kirby. These berries are like nothing I ate at home," Yoshi said.
"Poyo," Kirby said. Yoshi uses his tongue to grab an Oran Berry and swallows it whole.
Over to Wario and Waluigi, they didn't have any luck with finding anything valuable since they all arrived. They were bored out of their minds.
"Waluigi, how long have we been in this dimension?" Wario asked.
"I don't know, I lost track," Waluigi said.
"Ever since we got here, we found nothing worth getting our mitts on. I starting to miss our home. At least there, we got more than our share of gold," Wario said.
"I know what you mean," Waluigi said.
"You think we're ever to get those glory days back?" Wario asked.
"I don't know," Waluigi said.
"Say, how much do you think those trophies are worth?" Wario asked.
"Don't even try it. I already did, and I ended up getting a smack from Mr. Mime. Also, his mom was polishing those," Waluigi said.
"How about we try that when they're sleeping?" Wario asked.
"Can't. Already tried it and Espio hogtied me," Waluigi said.
"Then we're stuck at square one," Wario said.
Over to Dingodile, he was whistling a tune while doing some target practicing. Mario and Luigi had set up some dummies of Goombas, Koopa Troopas, and Shy Guys, while Diddy has made some dummies of Kritters and various other Kremlings.
"Nice!" Dingodile said. He set it for reverse and pulled one of the dummies close to him and sent it flying at one of the dummies. He kept up with his practice. Omega stepped in for the firing range. "Think you can top that?" Omega activated his Machine Gunner and shot all the dummies. Dingodile gave an impressive whistle. "Sweet."
"Your choice of the word 'sweet' defines your approval, yes?" Omega asked.
"Yeah, that's what it means," Dingodile said.
The dingo-crocodile hybrid and robot continued with their target practice while Pit and Axl were watching them.
Spyro and Hunter were having some boy time for right now. They sat on the grass, talking among themselves.
"So Hunter, how are things between you and Bianca?" Spyro asked.
"Going well. It's been since we beaten the Sorceress that we offically became a pair," Hunter said.
"And the fact that she almost toasted you," Spyro teased.
"She was aiming at you. I just got caught in the crossfire," Hunter said. "Anyway, enough about me and Bianca. How about between you and Elora?" Spyro winced when he heard the cheetah ask that.
"What do you mean, Hunter? Elora and I are friends, that's all," Spyro exclaimed.
"That's how it starts, Spyro," Hunter told the dragon.
"Like it started with you and Bianca?" Spyro asked.
"That's totally different!" Hunter said in defense. "Also, I've seen the two of you looking at each 're so digging on her, Spyro," Hunter said.
"Maybe. What if she just laughs in my face when I confess my feelings?" Spyro asked.
"She's not going to laugh. I knew Elora for a long time. I knew her long enough to know she's not speciesist. I mean, if she was, then she wouldn't be hanging out with me at all, would she? Also, I heard her talking with Kairi and the Canterlot High School girls. In fact Sunset mentioned that the Spike back in Equestria has it bad for the Rarity there; and get this, the Spike there is a dragon and the Rarity there is a pony," Hunter said.
Spyro knew that Hunter, in his own way, was right. Elora had been sweet and kind to him ever since they met. Ripto was a big threat in Avalar and he had to be stopped before he could dominate his power.
"You're right, man. And thanks," Spyro said.
"No problem, Spyro," Hunter said. The two fist bumped. Unknown to the duo, Elora was listening to Spyro and Hunter. She knew she was right Spyro had the same feelings as her.
"Been there long?" Meowth asked. Elora jumped out of shock.
"Meowth, don't scare me like that," Elora said.
"Sorry, I was just taking a cat nap up this tree and I saw ya there. So, why the sneaking around?" Meowth asked.
"Because of him," Elora said, pointing at Spyro. Meowth looked at the purple dragon and understood.
"Is that it? You got it bad for that dragon?" Meowth asked.
"I do and I now know that he feels the same way about me," Elora said.
"So, what's stopping you now?" Meowth asked.
"Well, the thing is, I don't know how I'm going to do it," Elora said.
"What's to know? Just jump in and take a stab at it," Meowth said.
"How?" Elora asked.
"However you do it. I can tell you, Sora and Kairi were in the same boat as you and Spyro. Course, we were enemies at the time, but Jessie and James didn't wait too long to get to it. And they're now married," Meowth said.
"Kairi told me about how they met and how they finally confessed. I wonder what kind of life I would have with Spyro?" Elora asked.
"Any life you and him can make," Meowth said. "Just make your move and let your dragon know. Seriously, am I playing matchmaker?" Elora thought a lot of what Meowth was telling her. She wanted to tell Spyro the truth and didn't know how and when.
Over to Sora, Kairi, Riku, and Naminé, the two couples were in line for the movie of the girls' choosing. It was a romance movie about a police officer and a nurse. The policeman fell in love with the who cared for him during his recovery as the plot goes.
"Is this the one you wanted to see, Kairi?" Sora asked.
"I've been wanting to see this movie for a long time. And so did Naminé," Kairi said.
"So, we came up with the double date to see it together. Doesn't that sound fun, Riku?" Naminé asked her boyfriend.
"As long as you're enjoying yourself, I'm game," Riku said. He said in his thoughts, "I just can't believe Kairi and Naminé chose this flick. I hope it won't be too boring." The two couples waited for their next turn, but they're unaware of Mario, Peach, Luigi, and Daisy were in line. Peach and Daisy were dressed in casual clothes, just so they don't draw attention to themselves. Peach wore a pink blouse and a blue short skirt. She wore a yellow t-shirt and blue short jeans.
"You-a sure you wanna see this movie, Peach?" Mario asked.
"I just thought it was my way of thanking you, Mario. Besides, it might be nice to do something together. Don't you agree, Daisy?" Peach asked.
"One hundred percent, Peach. Luigi and I have been meaning to invite you for a double date for a while," Daisy said.
"You glad you came along with me and Daisy, Mario?" Luigi asked.
"I am, Luigi. I'm-a glad that you and Daisy invited us. Also, this-a movie sure looks-a like a romantic movie," Mario said.
Sora ordered four tickets and they entered inside. It was the Mario Brothers turn and Mario ordered four tickets and entered. Sora and Kairi ordered s tub of popcorn for the both of them to share as Riku and Naminé did the same thing.
The movie was getting close to starting as the couples took their seats. Mario, Luigi, and the princesses sat next to Sora, Kairi, Riku, and Naminé, much to their surprise.
"Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Daisy? You came to see this movie too?" Sora asked.
"You caught us, Sora. Daisy just happened to suggest this to me and we thought we sit and enjoy," Peach said.
"At least you're not drawing attention to yourselves," Riku said.
The lights dims as the movie trailers have started playing before the feature presentation.
Over to the Hooligans, they're still in Saffron City, looking for information on Sora. they broke into the newspaper building to find out what they can about Sora. Bean hacked into the computer systems and saw that he is a Pokémon League Champion after winning the Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn Pokémon Leagues. Not only that, but also took down Team Rocket.
"Guys, check this out. It turns out the kid we're after is a big shot celebrity here. He won three of those Pokémon League tournaments and he took out the criminal organization called Team Rocket," Bean said.
"Any idea on why Eggman wants this kid that badly?" Fang asked as Bark shrugs his shoulders.
"Well, if he's friends with Sonic, then I can pick that reason. Also, he does look like a hedgehog with that hairdo," Bean said.
"Where does he live, Bean?" Fang asked.
"According to this, he lives in a town called Pallet Town. And I thought Knothole was a dumb name for a town," Bean said.
"Dumb or not, we have a job to do. Let's get cracking," Fang said.
"Yeah!" Bean cheered as Bark raised his paw. Suddenly, someone tried to open the door from the other side.
"Is someone in there?" A man's voice asked.
"Someone's trying to get in!" Bean exclaimed.
"Quick! Out the window!" Fang said. The polar bear went out first, the weasel and duck followed after. The man barged through the door and sees no one inside. He happens to be the building's janitor
"Could have sworn someone was in here. If this is some sort prank, I do not find this funny one little bit," the janitor said. He shrugged his shoulders. "Oh well. Better get to work." He starts cleaning up for the night. The Hooligans made it to the alleys of Saffron City, hiding in the shadows. The Rattata and Raticate in the area all fled.
"That was close," Bean said.
"We now know where he lives. Now, let's over to Pallet Town and get that kid," Fang said.
"Righty-o!" Bean said as Bark nodded.
The Hooligans rode on their cycles and started to head for Pallet Town. They had to hope to capture and the Freedom Fighters that may have entered the world. The Hooligans saw a dimensional rift and Scourge and Fiona had entered. With them are several other Mobians. One is a lynx with tan and black fur. He has light blue eyes. His muzzle and front are lighter. And he has black ears and spiky eyebrows. His attire consisted of electric Blue gloves with lightning bolts, Eeectric Blue boots with lightning bolts. One is a Mobian gorilla wearing a military helmet, green pants, green boots, and an ammo belt around his chest. One is a Mobian frog wearing a white scarf, brown gloves, brown boots, brown knee pads, flight hat and goggles. One a blue hawk with blue eyes, also with a white front and has spiked blue feathers on his head as well as partial wings attached to his arms. He also wore a red headband, tall red boots and long red gloves with large cuffs and clawed fingertips. One is a brown dog wearing gray combat fatigues and black boots. And the last one is a white Mobian wolf with cybernetic arms. His attire consisted of a purple sleeveless uniform.
"Not the Destructix. What are those wannabes doing here?" Bean asked.
"Stealing our thunder, that's what," Fang said. Bark cracked his knuckles. "That green hedgehog won't catch Sonic even with his speed matching Sonic's."
"Looks like the world. Finitevus wasn't kidding when he said it was different from both Mobius and Moebius," Scourge said.
"So, how are we gonna go at this?" Fiona asked.
"We'll split. Fiona, you take the rest and search for signs of the other Freedom Fighters. Sonic's mine!" Scourge said. The green hedgehog dashes off to find his blue counterpart.
"Man, Scourge is one thing, but Sgt. Simian, Slueth, Dawg, Flying Frog, Lightning Lynx, Drago Wolf, and Predator Hawk. Those guys are bad news," Bean said.
"We should keep an eye on them for right now. We'll deal with them if they're after this Sora kid," Fang said.
"But we have a job to do," Bean reminded the Hooligan leader.
"I'm sending you up ahead to Pallet Town. If you see him or Sonic, make contact with us. Just don't make a move without me and Bark, got it?" Fang said.
"On it, boss weasel," Bean said as he rode off. Fang turned to the muscle of the trio.
"Bark, I kept you with me because I need your strength," Fang said. Bark nods his head and followed the rest of the Destructix. Scourge raced through the Kanto region to look for Sonic.
"Where are you, Sonic?" Scourge asked as his snarled.
Over in Ash's world, he, Brock, May, and May have gotten started on their journey in Kanto as Ash is taking part of the Battle Frontier as May is competing in Pokémon Contests in Kanto.
"Say, Ash, you think we might run into some otherwordly visitors like that Tawna we met just weeks ago?" May asked.
"I don't know. The one I'm looking forward to seeing again is Sora; and the chance to battle him again," Ash said.
"Pi, Pikachu!" Pikachu said.
"That's one thing that hasn't changed. Ash is always acking for a challenge, even from a trainer from another universe," Brock said.
"And this time I'm going to win it!" Ash said.
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Wait, didn't you say that you won that battle?" May asked, raising a brow.
"Um, well, um," Ash stammered.
"That battle ended in a draw," Brock told them.
" A draw?" Max asked. "I thought you lost for a moment there," Max said.
"The battle ended up in a draw, but the battle between him and Red ended with Sora winning the battle," Brock said.
"The battle between those two just made me wanna battle Sora again if it weren't for the Shadow Empire! I wish I could see him again right now!" Ash shouted to the heavens. Suddenly, a dimensional rift opens and sucks them all and sucks them right in.
Over to that world's Team Rocket, they dig up a hole hole to trap Ash and his friends in. They covered the hole with debris and dirt and waited for their targets to come.
"The trap is set!" Jessie said.
"We can finally capture Pikachu and give it to the boss!" James added.
"And we'll be on the boss's good side where we belong!" Meowth said.
"Wobbufett!" Wobbufett said.
"Mime, Mime, Mime!" Mime Jr. said.
"Yay!" Team Rocket celerated, unaware of anoher dimseional rift opening up. Something fell right out of it and right into Team Rocket's trap.
"Whoa!" A new voice yelped.
"Oh-ho! Sounds like that twerp has fallen victim to our trap," Jessie said. Team Rocket jumped out of their hiding place when something has suddenly jumped out without warning. What they saw wasn't what they expected. What they saw was an anthropomorphic blue kangaroo wearing a straight jacket. He has floppy ears, a black nose and yellow scleras with orange circles swirling around his laughed maniacally as he jumped out. "What is this thing?"
"I don't have the slightest idea," James said. The kangaroo laughs as he shook Meowth's paw with his feet.
"Whatever it is, I would say the straight jacket look does it good," Meowth said. The kanaroo took out a card from his straight jacket and Meowth took it. "Ripper Roo?" The kangaroo nodded.
"What kind of Pokémon is it?" James asked.
"I don't have any idea. I don't even know what he's trying to say, becuase he's just laughing and making some gibberish noise," Meowth said.
"Who cares what it is, because we should catch it!" Jessie said. She sees Ripper Roo take out a green box that reads 'NITRO" in yellow captial letters. "What's with the box?" Ripper Roo threw it and the box explodes. They scream as they went flying in the air.
"Team Rocket's blasting off again!" Team Rocket shouted.
"Wobbu!" Wobbufett said as a star twinkles in the distance. Ripper Roo laughs as he hops in the new world that he's in.
Back in Sora's world, Ash, Pikachu, Brock, May, and Max all fell out of the dimensional rift and land on the ground beneath them.
"Ow, my head," Ash said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Where are we?" Ash asked.
"I think we're in Pallet Town," Brock said.
"How do you know that, Brock?" May asked.
"Look," Brock said, pointing to the town in front of them.
"It is Pallet Town, but how did we get all the way back here?" Ash asked.
"We didn't. Not the old fashoned way, anyway," Brock said.
"What do you mean?" May asked.
"This isn't our Pallet Town. That weird thing that appeared right in front of us must have been a gateway into another dimension. And that's where we ended up," Brock said.
"We didn't end up in another dimension, we ended up in Pallet Town," Max said.
"It's not our Pallet Town, Max," Brock said. "There are worlds that are similar to ours, but very different at the exact same time."
"In other words, there could be alternate versions of us around here," May said.
"Possibly. Or possibly that we might not exist in this universe. Each and every universe has its own version reality," Brock said.
"Okay, now, I'm totally lost," May said.
"Maybe we should go and see the town and have a look around," Ash suggested.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"We shouldn't mention any alternate worlds while we're here, because they might think we're crazy," Brock said. The four kids and Pikachu went towards the alternate town and look around. Ash saw how similar it was to the town he grew up in. But he knew it was different right at the same time. He saw his mother along with a woman he didn't recognize, but she did look familiar to him for some reason.
"Mom?" Ash asked in his thoughts. Ash wanted to run up to his mohter, even she isn't his mother in this world. "Seeing you here just feels right to me, somehow." Brock, May, and Max understood how he felt. They wondered how their families' counterparts would react in seeing them. They continued on when they reached Professor Oak's ranch. They saw all sorts of Pokémon there. There were some that they haven't seen before.
"It's Professor Oak's lab," May said.
"Belonging to not our Professor Oak," Brock said. Suddenly, a man sneaks up behind them and taps Brock on the shoulder.
"Hey," the man said, making the kids yelp. The voice belonged to Yuta. "What are you kids doing here?"
"Nothing, we were just looking around," Ash said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Then, why are you sneaking around here?" Yuta asked. He looked at May and Max and he recognized them. "May? Max? What brings you here so soon?" The siblings were surprised to hear that the man knew their names.
"How do you know our names, sir?" Max asked. He laughed.
"Very funny, Max. That's a very good joke," Yuta said, laughing. This confuses the four kids greatly.
"Something is telling me that he knows you," Ash said.
"Yeah, but we don't know him," May said.
"Haven't seen you since you took down Team Rocket. What brings you back so soon?" Yuta asked.
"Wait! Took down Team Rocket?" Ash asked.
"Yeah. May, her boyfriend and some other kids along with my daugter, her boyfriend and some other friends arched down to Team Rocket HQ and put them out of business for good. Many of their members are in prison forever' especially their leader," Yuta said. Ash was shocked and stoked to hear that the Team Rocket in this world was no more. "Anyway, the name's Yuta. What's your name, son?"
"I'm Ash and this is my best friend Pikachu," Ash introduced.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"And I'm Brock," Brock introduced.
"Good to meet you, Ash. I'm Yuta," Yuta said.
"Just how do you know May and Max, Yuta?" Brock asked.
"Met her during the Grand Festival. May came in second to my daughter. You two are good friends and rivals," Yuta said.
"Second?!" May exclaimed in shock.
"So the May in this world made it second place?! Also she has a boyfriend here too?!" Max also exclaimed, but in his thoughts.
"No way!" Ash exclaimed, sharing their shock.
"Yep. Also, my daughter's boyfriend also won the Hoenn Pokémon League after winning the Indigo Plateau and the Johto Pokémon Leagues," Yuta said.
"Your daughter's boyfriend?" Brock asked. He stroked his chin. "Can you tell us the names of these two trainers you're talking about.?"
"My daughter's name is Kairi, and her boyfriend is Sora Ketchum," Yuta told them.
"Sora! And Kairi too!" Ash exclaimed happily. Just then, Lea stepped out of the door and he sees Kairi's father.
"Yo, Yuta! Was wondering when you gonna show up," Lea said. Ash turned around to see Lea as well.
"Hey! Lea!" Ash said. He got wide-eyed.
"Ash, Brock?! When did you get here?!" Lea asked. He went up to them.
"Wait, who's this guy?" May asked.
"That's Lea. He's one of the other trainers Ash battled," Brock said.
"Long time no see," Ash said.
"You totally got me memorized. And I got you memorized," Lea said.
"So, where's Sora?" Ash asked.
"He and Kairi are out to a movie on a double date," Lea said.
"A double date?" Max asked.
"Yeah, won't be back in a while. But you're welcome to hang around here until they get here," Lea said.
"That'll be awesome!" Ash said.
"Can we see what kinds of Pokémon Sora has living here?" Max asked.
"Knock yourself out, Max. Isa and I were about to feed them anyway," Lea said.
"Yay!" Max cheered.
The four otherworldly trainers went inside the lab, much to Yuta's surprise and confusion.
"How do you know them, Lea?" Yuta asked.
"I knew them from way back. They had a girl named Misty with them. Hard to believe they came back in this world after so long," Lea said.
"Wait, they're from another world just like the others?" Yuta asked, surprised
"Yeah, I know it's haard to believe," Lea said.
"Actually, because May and Max acted like they didn't know me. Should have picked that up sooner," Yuta said.
Over to Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Mario, Luigi, and the princesses, once the movie was over, they made a stop to a resturant for some dinner. They told each other about what they liked about the movie. Peach was moved by the polce officer's confession of love to the nurse.
"Have to say that-a was-a one of the best-s movies I have seen so far," Mario said.
"Those movies in this world were nothing like the ones back home," Luigi said.
"I'm glad you enjoyed it. I wanted to see it ever since I first heard about it, so my mom saw it with my dad the other day and she insisted that I watch it with Sora. When I told her that I wanted to see it, she told me that great minds think alike. So, I also decided to invite Riku and Naminé to come along too," Kairi said.
"Glad you did, Kairi. It was such a romantic film," Naminé swooned.
"Just happy that you enjoyed it, Naminé," Riku said.
Once the dinner was over and done with, the couples all left for home and saw Lea standing at his front porch along with Pikachu, Angel, Eevee, and Azurill.
"Lea? What are you doing here?" Sora asked.
"I was waiting for you to come back," Lea said, for some reason, he was grinning.
"What for?" Sora asked.
"Why don't you come by Professor Oak's lab and see for yourselves?" Lea suggested. They obliged Lea by headng for Professor Oak's lab and wondered what could be so important. They wondered if it was another mission so soon. Lea opened the door upon arrival.
"Professor! What's up?" Sora asked.
"I'll tell you what's up. Just an old friend coming by to say hi to you," a familiar voice spoke. Sora was surprised and happy at the same time. He saw it was Ash and his Pikachu standing before him. "Long time no see, Sora. You too, Riku, Naminé."
"Ash!" Sora and Kairi exclaimed happily.
"When did you get here?" Sora asked.
"Just a couple of hours ago. Lea went to get you," Ash said.
"Ash made me promise not to say anything until you get here," Lea said.
"And what a surprise," Sora said.
"Also, I heard from Kairi's dad that you're a Pokémon League Champion! How awesome!" Ash said.
"Yeah, awesome," Sora said.
"We also heard that you won the Grand Festival, Kairi," another familiar voice spoke.
"Brock!" Sora and Kairi said.
"It's been a while, you two," Brock said.
"Pikachu!" Ash's Pikachu said. Sora's Pikachu went up to his inter dimensional brother and high-fived.
"Missed you, man!" - Ash's Pikachu subtitle.
"Same to you. It feels like it's been years." - Sora's Pikachu subtitle. He spots Riku's Eevee with Riku.
"Hey, it's been a while!" - Ash's Pikachu subtitle.
"It has. You look stronger than the last time." - Eevee subtitle.
"You know me." - Ash's Pikachu subtitle. He sees the female Eevee standing next to Kairi. "So, who's this?" - Ash's Pikachu subtitle.
"This is Angel. She's Kairi's Eevee. My girlfriend." - Sora's Pikachu subtitle. Pikachu wraps his arm around Angel's shoulder.
"It's nice to meet you." - Angel subtitle.
"Right back at you, Angel." - Ash's Pikachu subtitle.
Ash notices Angel with Kairi and he smiled.
"Whose Eevee is this?" Ash asked.
"She's mine. Her name's Angel," Kairi introduced. "Say hello, Angel."
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Nice to meet you, Angel," Ash said, petting her.
"You did a good job raising it, Kairi," Brock said.
"Thanks," Kairi said.
"Now that the introductions are out of the way, we can meet the other two visitors," Lea said.
"Other two visitors?" Kairi asked.
"What do you mean?" Naminé asked. The blonde got her answer when they all saw May and Max.
"Hey there, not our May and Max," Sora greeted.
"Are you Sora?" May asked.
" I am," Sora said.
"And you're Kairi! I'm happy to meet you!" May said.
"Nice to meet you again, May," Kairi said. She and May giggled.
"Right back at you, Kairi. It's an hono to meet a Top Coordinator, even though not from my world," May said. The two girls shook hands.
"Ash and his friends explained the situation to me," Professor Oak said, walking in along with Delia, Kairi's parents, and Isa. "I would never believe such a thing, but given the situation we're currently in, I would believe just about anything."
"So would I at this point," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
"Azurill," Azurill chirped.
Sora had shared his stories about their journeys and why the Alolan nine aren't with them anymore. Sora and Kairi also filled Ash in about them being in another world while in the Johto region, and about their recent otherwordly experiences, apart from saving a kingdom from an evil tyrant frog, saving Princess Peach from Bowser Jr., and their recent trip to Dream Land to catch a Steelix and a Graveler that had ended up there by accident.
"Wow, that's quite a story, Sora," Ash said.
"Also, this Ganondorf sounds scary," May added.
"The guy I saw at Team Rocket HQ had to be him, I just know it. Also, I know he won't just stop in this world, he'll target other worlds as well," Sora said.
"Just when we had the Shadow Empire to worry about, we have a brand new enemy," Brock said.
"So, what's the next plan?" Riku asked.
"I haven't really thought of it. I think Alia will have to clue us in on our next mission," Sora said.
"That's a good idea, Sora. It's best to wait for the moment," Professor Oak said. Delia looked right at Ash and she wanted to ask him.
"So, Ash, I would like to know about your mother from your world. You said that I'm her in your world, right?" Delia asked.
"Yeah, that's right. I only been here for a little while, but seeing you here just feels right to me," Ash said.
"It also feels right to me, Ash. And I want you to know that you're always welcomed here," Delia said.
"Yeah, that's what my mom would say about Sora," Ash said.
"She would," Sora agreed.
"Anyway, Sora, there's something I wanted to do ever since we parted ways," Ash said.
"Yeah? What?" Sora asked.
"I was wondering if you and I can have a battle with you?" Ash asked. Sora chuckled.
"Sure thing, Ash. To be honest, I've been looking forward to it ever since we last saw each other," Sora said. They decided to have their battle first thing in the next morning since it was getting pretty late. Sora and Ash both shared the same room like real brothers. Ash was given some of Sora's pajams as Sora got changed in his. "How does it feel to sleep in your own room again?"
"Feels the same to me. Just how does it feel to have Kairi live next door to you, Sora?" Ash asked. Sora chuckled.
"The best thing that's ever happned to me. That means I could see her whenever I want from now on. Also, I get to blow her a kiss good night. That reminds me," Sora said. He and his Pikachu got up and headed for the window. Kairi was in her pajamas as Angel was with her. Both of Sora and his Pikachu blew a kiss to their signifigant others, and they did the same thing.
"You do that every night?" Ash asked.
"We've done it so many times it became a habit whenever we're home," Sora said.
"Misty would go crazy when she sees you and Kairi doing that," Ash said.
"Pikachu," Ash's Pikachu said.
"Not really surprising. I found hard to believe that Misty isn't travelling with you and Brock anymore. Not surprised that Brock still goes ga-ga for every pretty girl he sees," Sora joked. Ash also laughed.
"Some things just stays the same. Just like the Team Rocket in my world, still trying to get my Pikachu," Ash said.
"Pikachu," Ash's Pikachu said.
"Pikachu," Sora's Pikachu said.
"So, you still have to deal with those morons, huh? At least my Jessie, James, and Meowth knew when to call it quits. Also, that Meowth is on our side now," Sora said.
"I was surprised at first, but Lea and Isa told us that he wasn't with Team Rocket anymore. What even gets me that your Jessie and James were fightng against them," Ash said.
"That was before I found out they were still alive. And I'm going to say it, I was pretty shocked when I saw them when Cassidy and Buth tried to steal my and Kairi's Pokémon," Sora said.
"Where are they now?" Ash asked.
"They're somewhere living their lives together snce they got married. Where is a total mystery," Sora said. "Anyway, I just wanna say that no matter who wins, we'll be cool"
"You know it, Sora," Ash said as the two boys had fist bumped. The two trainers fell alseep along with the two Pikachu. Ash's Pikachu woke up at the sound of Sora's snoring, but Sora's Pikachu assured him that it was okay.
Over in Viridian City, Bean rode on his hover cycle and checked the map he got recently.
"I knew this map would come in handy. Now, if I'm going to head for Pallet Town, I'm going to head down this route, here," Bean said, pointing to the map. He then yawned. "Better get some shut-eye before I keep going. Better find a good spot to do it." he found a pefect spot at the Pokémon Center's roof. "Perfect place for some sleep." He made his landing and he yawned. He fell rigtht to sleep and drifted off into dreamland.
The next morning in Pallet Town, Kairi snucked in as quietly as she could possibly get. She tip-toed to Sora, sleeping soundly. Angel followed after and she went over to the two Pikachu. She could easily tell which Pikachu was which just by his scent. She nuzzles him awake and his smiled and nuzzles her back. Ash's Pikachu woke up and sees them nuzzling. Kairi gave Sora a kiss on the lips, waking her boyfriend up.
"Morning, Kairi," Sora said.
"Morning, lazy bum," Kairi playfully greeted. She kissed Sora on the lips and he kisses her back. The couple parted lips.
"So, over for breakfast again?" Sora asked.
"Yeah. Brock insisted on helping on making breakfast while I went and got you up. And Ash too," Kairi said while Ash was still sleeping.
"Hard to believe that used to be me. Ever since we met, you never let me sleep in even once," Sora said.
"My mom always did the same thing with dad before they got married," Kairi said. "So, how about we get him up."
"I was about to say that anyway," Sora said, tapping on Ash. "Hey, Ash, wake up." Ash didn't respond to him, but he responded by rolling over.
"That's a thousand Gym Badges I earned," Ash said in his sleep. Ash's Pikachu went for it instead. He gave Ash a shocking wake up call. "I could do without that, Pikachu."
"Pikachu," Ash's Pikachu said.
"Morning, sleepy head. Just wondering if you were willing to join us for breakfast today?" Sora asked.
"I'm wide awake now!" Ash said. "So, how about we head down stairs now!"
"Pi, Pikachu!" Ash's Pikachu said.
Ash and his Pikachu rushed downstairs as Sora, Kairi, Sora's Pikachu, and Angel followed them.
Breakfast went on fast as Ash was wolfing down the blueberry pancakes Delia had made and the eggs were made by Brock.
"Great breakfast!" Ash said.
"Thank you, Ash. Sora always said the same thing," Delia said. Sora and Kairi blushed to one another. Sora's Pikachu happily shared his Pokémon food with Angel as Ash's Pikachu ate his Pokémon food. Delia was happy to know that Ash has a mother who is like her in every way.
"So, Ash, hope you haven't forgotten about the battle oming up, did you?" Sora asked.
"No I didn't. And I'm ready have a go as you are, Sora," Ash said.
"You might want to finish up beofe you do exactly that, guys," Brock said.
"Brock's right. Breakfast is the most important meal of the deal," Kairi reminded them both.
After breakfast, everyone all gathered around to witness the Pokémon battle between Sora and Ash. Sora could tell Ash was looking forward to it. And he knew Ash didn't want him to go easy on him just becuase they're friends. Since Ash has five Pokémon with him, he thought he would use four as well. He picked Pinsir, Pelipper, Ludicolo, and Exploud. May, Max, and all of the other wordly visitors all were waiting to see what kind of battle it was gonna be. Brock was going to act as the referee to this battle.
"So, this is how a Pokémon battle goes on, huh?" Flash asked.
"How we've seen it," Sunset said. "But it was on TV."
"Also, you remember Sora and Kairi sending two new ones here, right?" Twilight asked.
"How could we forget?" Timber asked.
"The battle between Sora and Ash will now begin! Trainers will be using five Pokémon each! Whoever takes out all of either trainer's Pokémon will be the winner! Sora! Ash! Choose your Pokémon and begin!" Brock instructed. Ash took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"I choose you! Swellow!" Ash called out as his Swellow flew out of its Pokéball. Sora thought going Flying Types with Flying Types.
"Pelipper! Go!" Sora called out. Pelipper flew out to battle Swellow. "You can make the first move, Ash!"
"Swellow! Aerial Ace!" Ash ordered. Swellow flew to dart the pelican Pokémon.
"Pelipper! Protect!" Sora ordered. Pelipper forms a protective barrier around himself. Swellow's Aerial Ace is bounced off. "Now use Blizzard!" Pelipper fires Blizzard right at the swallow Pokémon.
"Double Team!" Ash ordered. Swellow makes several copies of itself and surrounds the water bird Pokémon. "Now use Wing Attack!" Swellow and the copies all dove down and smacks the pelican Pokémon on the spot.
"Pelipper! Protect!" Sora called out. Pelipper forms a protective barrier again and the Swellow Wing Attacks gets bounced off. "Now, fire Hydro Pump! Find the real one!" Pelipper fires Hydro Pump and some of the copies all vanish. Pelipper found the real one. "Now, use Wing Attack!" Pelipper comes at Swellow and lands a hit on the swallow Pokémon.
"Wind Attack!" Ash ordered. Swellow charged and lands a hit onto Pelipper. "Wing Attack!" Swellow comes at Peilipper again.
"Not bad, Ash!" Sora complimented.
"Right back you, Sora! Swellow!' Aerial Ace!" Ash ordered.
"Pelipper! Protect!" Sora ordered. Pelipper forms a protective barrier around him again and blocks the swallow Pokémon in its tracks.
""How come Pelipper keeps using Protect when he coud dodge it?" Shantae asked.
"Sora knows Aerial Ace can't be dodged. But it can be blocked," Riku said.
"Swellow! Use Quick Attack!" Ash ordered. Swellow flew right at Pelipper to deliver the blow.
"Use Blizzard!" Sora ordered. Pelipper fires Blizzard at the swallow Pokémon and lands a hit. "Now use Hydro Pump!" Pelipper fires Hydro Pump and lands a hit onto Swellow and earned a knockout.
"Swellow is unable to battle! Pelipper wins!" Brock announced.
"Way to go, Sora!" Pit cheered.
"That was pretty cool, no pun intended," Ice Man said.
"Good job, Pelipper!" Sora said.
"Pelipper!" Pelipper said.
"Good to keep going?" Sora asked.
"Lipper!" Pelipper nodded.
"Great!" Sora said.
"Swellow, return!" Ash said, calling his Swellow back. "Get yourself a good long rest." He took out his next Pokéball and threw it. "I choose you! Corphish!"
"Pelipper! Wing Attack!" Sora ordered.
"Corphish! Fight back with Crabhammer!" Ash ordered. Corphish swung at Pelipper with its pincers when Pelipper got close enough. "Now use Vise Grip!" Corphish clamps onto one of Pelipper's wings. "Now, use Bubble Beam! Aim inside of Pelipper's mouth!" Corphish fires Bubble Beam inside of Pelipper's beak and fell backwards. Pelipper lands on the ground. Pelipper tries to get back up, but fell backwards.
"Pelipper is unable to battle! Corphish wins!" Brock announced.
"Yeah! Good job, Corphish!" Ash praised.
"Corp, Corp, Corphish!" Corphish said.
"Not bad, Ash! You're better than I remember," Sora said. Pelipper flew back to the others. He looked over to his Pinsir. "Your turn now, Pinsir!" Pinsir moves right in to battle.
"Cool, a Pinsir!" Max said.
"Pinsir look pretty scary," May said.
"I'm with her. Those horns looks like they could loads of damage," Amy said.
"I think that's the general idea, Amy," Spyro said as Sparx buzzed with agreement.
"Sora's Pincer looks strong enough. But doens't mean it'll win," Ash said.
"Pinsir! Come at Corphish with your Vise Grip!" Sora ordered. Pinsir charged at the lobster-like Pokémon with his horns down to grab it.
"Corphish! Harden!" Ash ordered. Corphish's body gave a protective glow as Pinser. Pinsir tried to deal some damage on it.
"Ash is using Harden to build up his Corphish's defense. Let's see if this would work. Pinsir! Use Storm Throw!" Sora ordered. Pinsir jumps in the air while holding Corphish. Pinsir then threw the crustacean Pokémon straight to the ground. Corphish has taken heavy damage from the attack. "Now, use X-Scissor!" Pinsir's claws glow light green. He slashes at Corphish with his claws in an 'X' formation, leaving behind a trail of light green energy from each of his claws. Corphish was taken down.
"Corphish is unable to battle! Pinsir wins!" Brock announced.
"Now both Sora and Ash has three left to use. The way that Pinsir moved is way awesome!" Max said.
"It's not over yet," Riku said.
"Corphish, return," Ash said, calling Corphish back. "That Pinsir is tougher than I thought. I have the perfect Pokémon to keep up with it!" Ash took out his next Pokéball and threw it. "Donphan! I choose you!" His Donphan came out with a loud cry.
"Pinsir! Use Vise Grip!" Sora ordered. Pinsir ran towards Donphan to deliever a pinch on the elephant-like Pokémon.
"Dodge with Rollout!" Ash ordered. Donphan rolled into a ball and rolled out of the way. Donphan rolled right into Pinsir.
"That was a good clean it," Toad said.
"Yeah, but Rollout gets stronger from each hit Rollout makes," Meowth said.
Donphan lands another Rollout onto Pinsir again and again. Each hit became even heavier each time Pinsir is struck. The stag beetle Pokémon was in a real fix and got finished off with one more blow. Pinsir had been taken down.
"Pinsir is unable to battle! Donphan wins!" Brock announced. Pinsir got back up on his feet.
"Don't worry about it, Pinsir. You did your best. You should rest up for a while," Sora said. He looked over to Ludicolo. "You're next, Ludicolo!"
"Ludicolo!" Ludicolo said, dancing his way in front of Donphan.
"Donphan! Rollout!" ASh ordered. Donphan rolled right towards Ludicolo again.
"No you don't, Ash! Ludicolo! Dodge and use Razor Leaf!" Sora ordered. Ludicolo avoided DOnphan and fired Razor Leaf at Donphan. The leaves overwhelm the armor Pokémon greatly. "Now use Ice Punch!" Ludicolo gave Donphan an Ice Punch in the face and went down for the count.
"Donphan is unable to battle! Ludicolo wins!" Brock announced.
"Both Sora and Ash are losing Pokémon from left to right. I can tell Ash has improved since that last battle. What other tricks does he have?" Riku asked.
"Donphan, return," Ash said, calling Donphan back. He took out his next Pokéball and threw it. "I choose you, Grovyle!" Grovyle comes out and places a twig in its mouth, similar to Sora's.
"Ludicolo! Ice Punch!" Sora ordered. Ludicolo heads right towards Grovyle to land a punch onto the wood gecko Pokémon.
'Dodge with Quick Attack!" Ash ordered. Grovyle avoids Ludicolo's Ice Punch. "Now use Bullet Seed!" Grovyle fires Bullet Seed right at the carefree Pokémon. "Now, use Pound!" Grovyle lands a Pound onto Ludicolo.
"Energy Ball!" Sora ordered. Ludicolo forms a ball of green energy and hurls it right at Grovyle.
"Leaf Blade!" Ash ordered. Grovyle slices through Energy Ball like a watermelon. "Leaf Blade again!" Grovyle lands a Leaf Blade onto Ludicolo and earned a knockout.
"Ludicolo is unable to battle! Grovyle wins!" Brock announced. Ludicolo gets back up and goes back with the others. Sora turned to Exploud.
"You're up now, Exploud," Sora said.
"Ploud, Exploud!" Exploud said.
"Okay, Exploud! Use Mega Punch!" Sora ordered. Exploud ran in to use Mega Punch on the wood gecko Pokémon.
"Dodge and use Pound!" Ash ordered. Grovyle avoids Mega Punch and lands a Pound on the loud noise Pokémon. "Use Leaf Blade!"
"Exploud! use Hyper Beam!" Sora ordered. Exploud fires Hyper Beam and it struck Grovyle hard.
"That was a pretty powerful attack," Tails said.
"Yeah, but it doens't look like Exploud will attack again after it's used," Vector said.
"Seriously? That doesn't sound fair," Tails said.
"Grovyle! Use Leaf Blade!" Ash ordered. Grovyle lands a hit onto Exploud. Exploud wasn't going down that easily.
"Exploud! Use Boom burst!" Sora ordered. Exploud takes in some air in his holes and sends out a a powerful sound wave at Grovyle.
"Dodge that!" Ash called out. Grovyle avoids Exploud's Boomburst by jumping very quickly. "Now use Leaf Blade!"
"Mega Punch!" Sora ordered. Exploud and Grovyle both came at each other and both landed the finishing blow onto one another. It has resulted in a double knockout.
"Both Exploud and Grovyle are unable to battle!" Brock announced. Now both Sora and Ash had one Pokémon left to use and it was their respected partners. Exploud rejoined the other Pokémon as both Pikachu stepped in to battle each other again.
"This is the rematch I've been looking forward too." - Ash's subtitle.
"The same to you. Don't hold anything back, buddy." - Sora's Pikachu subtitle.
"You don't hold back either." - Ash's Pikachu subtitle.
Both Pikachu waited for their trainers' intructions. Sora and Ash looked at each other and he grinned.
"Okay, Ash. Show me what you got," Sora said.
"Pikachu! Use Quick Attack!" Ash ordered. Ash's Pikachu ran across the grass to head towards Sora's Pikachu.
"Dodge and you use your own Quick Attack!" Sora ordered. Sora's Pikachu avoided Ash's Pikachu's attack and heads right towards Ash's Pikachu to land a hit. Ash's Pikachu dodged, but Sora's Pikachu wasn't going to give that easily. They both landed hits onto each other.
"Thunderbolt!' Sora and Ash ordered. Sora's Pikachu and Ash's Pikachu both fired Thunderbolt right at each other and both held their attacks and an explosion occured between them.
"That was instense!" Max said.
"And both were close!" May said.
"Pikachu! Use Volt Tackle!" Ash ordered. Ash's Pikachu charged right Sora's Pikachu.
"Iron Tail! Slam right into the ground!" Sora ordered. Sora's Pikachu slams Iron Tail. ASh's Pikachu rams into Sora's Pikachu and held on. Ash's Pikachu took some recoil damage from that hit as it hurt Sora's Pikachu too. "Now, push that Pikachu back with Quick Attack!" Sora's Pikachu rammed into Ash's Pikachu and goes flying backwards. Ash's Pikachu flips over and lands on his feet.
"Pikachu! Iron Tail!" Ash ordered.
"You use Iron Tail too!" Sora ordered. Sora's Pikachu and Ash's Pikachu both raced at each other and and swiped their tails at each other like clashing swords. "Keep it up, Pikachu!"
"You keep it too, Pikachu!" Ash called out. Both Pikachu held on trying to push the other back. Both Pikachu were evenly matched and both broke the hold.
"Pikachu! Electro Ball!" Sora odered. Pikachu forms a ball of electricity right at Ash's Pikachu.
"Block with Iron Tail!" Ash ordered. Ash's Pikachu swings Iron Tail and sends it back to Sora's Pikachu.
"You use Iron Tail too!" Sora ordered. Sora's Pikachu sends Electro Ball back at Ash's Pikachu and they kept it up like a tennis match. Everyone watching were watching the electric ball go back and forth, not getting their eyes off of it even once.
"Is this a Pokémon battle or a tennis game?" Knuckles asked.
"I can't seem to get my eyes off the ball," Bolo said.
"Me neither," Bandana Dee said.
"Poyo," Kirby said.
They kept up with the passing, but the more they passed the ball back, the more tired they were getting. Sora's Pikachu sends the Electro Ball into the air and explodes.
"Pikachu! Use Volt Tackle!" Ash ordered. Ash's Pikachu charged right towards Sora's Pikachu with electricity emitting violently from him to land a hit onto him.
"Dodge and use your strongest Iron Tail!" Sora ordered. Pikachu jumped in the air and Ash's Pikachu missed completely. Pikachu came crashing down with Iron Tail ands a successful hit. Ash's Pikachu fell right on the ground. Both Pikachu ended up panting in exhaustion. They both stared at each other with admiration and respect. They kept looking at each other for a while until Ash's Pikachu fell on the ground first.
"Ash's Pikachu is unable to battle! Sora's Pikachu wins! Sora wins the battle!" Brock announced. Sora's Pikachu fell on the ground as Sora went up to his partner and picked him up.
"You were great, Pikachu," Sora said.
"Pika," Sora's Pikachu said. Ash picked up Pikachu in his arms and he was disheartened that he lost to Sora.
"I can't believe I lost," Ash said.
"Ash!" Sora said to Ash. He looked right at him. "That was a good match, Ash. You did your best." Ash felt better about losing.
"Thanks Sora. I can why you're the Pokémon League Champion in your world. You're even stronger than the last time," Ash said. They both shook hands to an enjoyable battle. Sora's Pikachu, Pinsir, Pelipper, Ludicolo, and Exploud were treated for their injuries along with Ash's Pokémon and they had a chance for some relaxation. Bean the Dynamite was watching the battle from above and he smiled. He didn't just find Sora, but also Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Team Choatix, and some of the Freedom Fighters there as well.
"No wonder he's the champ. Better go let Fang know about this," Bean said as he rode off.
Now that Bean had found them, he heads back to find Fang and Bark about where to start looking. How will Sora and his friends fend off the bounty hunter team? We'll have to wait and see.
