Episode 305: Crash, Hook, Line, and Sinker!
A couple of days has passed since the mission on the Wumpa Islands. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth went through Donkey Kong Island and Dreamland to double check, but so far they haven't seen a single one."So, how did the search go?" Alia asked.
"No luck. To be honest, I'm not even sure what kind of Pokémon we're even looking for. Also, there are also bad guys coming at us like crazy, it's not even funny," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"I wish we did too," Alia said. "But there's no way of telling which one you'll run into."
"Alia's right. We'll have to do our best out there," Kairi said.
"Yeah, I know. But I just can't help it," Sora said.
"You are right to worry, Sora. X would understand what you mean," Alia said.
Sora knew she was right, since X and Sora has hit it off pretty well. Sora couldn't help but wonder what other Pokémon that might be lost somewhere in the multiverse.
A few hours later, Sora sat alone out in a clearing outside of Pallet Town along with Pikachu. He needed some time to think. Ash and his Pikachu came up to Sora.
"Hey, Sora," Ash spoke. Sora urned to see Ash and his Pikachu right behind him. "You don't mind if I join you, do you?"
"No, I don't mind," Sora said. "How did you know where to find me?"
"I didn't, Kairi told me where to find you. She was pretty worried about you," Ash said.
"It's not really surprising to be honest. I never could hide my feelings from her no matter how hard I try," Sora said.
"Yeah, she told me about how worried you are. Just what do you think you should do about it?" Ash asked.
"I'll just have to wait and see what happens. I mean, there are many universes, so I don't know how we'll be able to solve the problem before then," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Sora's Pikachu said.
"Hey, it'll be fine. Just remember, what I said before when we took on the Shadow Empire," Ash said.
"It's not over until it's over. Hm, yeah, that sounds about right. No, it is right. And you're right. The Shadow Empire made it my fight when they threatened my world, and the same can be said about Ganondorf and his friends had their sights on it too. We didn't start this whole thing, but so help me, we're going to finish it," Sora said.
"That's the Sora I know," Ash said.
"Pi, Pikachu!" Ash's Pikachu agreed.
"Pika, Pika, Pika!" Sora's Pikachu said.
"I owe you one, Ash. Thanks," Sora said.
"Any time, Sora. I know you'd do the same for me," Ash said. "So, how about we head back the house. Cuphead and Mugman are waiting for us to join them in the mansion," Ash said.
"That racing game again? Aren't they sick of it by now?" Sora asked.
"Well, they don't have any video games on Inkwell Isle," Ash said.
"Well, we shouldn't keep them waiting a minute longer," Sora said. Just when the two boys were heading off to the mansion, a trainer, wearing a green vest came around.
"Hey you there!" The trainer called out. "I'm looking for a trainer who goes by Sora Ketchum and he lives here in Pallet Town! You know him?"
"That'll be me," Sora said.
"Good, because I was looking for you to challenge you to a match! Let's make it three-on-three, huh?" The trainer challenged.
"Sure thing," Sora said, accepting the challenge. Sora took out his Pokémon Box and he brought over Steelix and Octillery for the battle. "Now, I'm set."
"Great!" The trainer said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. You're up first, Sandaconda!" The Pokéball opens and unleashes a a tan serpent Pokémon with a black and brown pattern resembling cracked earth. Around its neck is a dark brown ring, its neck pouch, featuring the same pattern as the rest of its long body, which is coiled in a spiral shape. It has lime green eyes with red bags underneath them and a snout with two prominent nostrils and two fangs. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned this new Pokémon.
Sandaconda, the Sand Snake Pokémon
The evolved form of Silicorbra
Type: Ground
Its unique style of coiling allows it to blast sand out of its sand sac more efficiently. When it contracts its body, over 220 pounds of sand sprays from its nose. If it ever runs out of sand, it becomes disheartened.
"So, that's what Silicobra will evolve into. And I have the perfect one for the job!" Sora said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go right in, Octillery!" The Pokéball opens and Octillery comes out to battle.
"Sandaconda! Begin with your Headbutt!" The trainer ordered as Sandaconda came in for a Headbutt.
"Dodge and use Bubble Beam!" Sora ordered. Octillery jumped to avoid Sandaconda and fired Bubble Beam.
"Dig!" The trainer ordered. Silicorbra dug into the ground to avoid Octillery's Bubble Beam. It didn't take long until Sandaconda came out and lands a hit onto Octillery. "Now, use Wrap!" Sandaconda wrapped its body around Octillery in a tight grip. "That's it! Don't let it slip!"
"Hang in there, Octillery!" Sora called out. He had to think for a moment and fast. He then got an idea. "Octillery! Ice Beam at the tail!" Octillery fired Ice Beam at the tail and froze Sandaconda's tail.
"That was awesome!" Ash said.
"Try this out for size! Octillery! Use Octazooka!" Sora ordered. Octillery fires Octazooka right at Sandaconda and deals heavy damage. "Now use Hyper Beam!" Octillery fires Hyper Beam and finishes off Sandaconda. The trainer was amazed and impressed by Sora's resolve.
"Not bad, not bad," the trainer said, calling Sandaconda back. "Now, here's my next one!" He took out his next Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Slowking!" The Pokéball opens and his Slowking came right out. This Slowking was very different from the one he was familiar with. This Slowking has purple markings on its forehead and tail, the red-white spiny ruff is now dark and light purple and longer around its neck.Shellder on its head has a more round off shape near the base of the crown with Shellder covering up more of its head. A green gem resides in the center of the Shellder. Sora took out his Pokédex again and scanned it.
Slowking Galarian Form, the Hexpert Pokémon
An evolved form of Slowpoke Galarian Form
Type: Poison/Psychic
A combination of toxins and the shock of evolving has increased Shellder's intelligence to the point that Shellder now controls Slowking. While chanting strange spells, this Pokémon combines its internal toxins with what it's eaten, creating strange potions.
"So, that's a Galarian Slowking. Different than what I originally thought," Sora said, calling back Octillery. He takes out his next Pokéball. "Steelix, it's your turn!" Steelix comes on out as stars swirls around Steelix.
"I guess Poison Type attacks aren't going to cut it! No big deal, because I know how to beat that Steelix without using Poison Type Pokémon," the trainer said.
"Steelix! Start off with your Dragon Breath!" Sora ordered. Steelix fired Dragon Breath at the Galarian Slowking.
"Slowking! Use Protect!" The trainer ordered. Slowking formed a protective barrier around itself. "Now, use Scald!" Slowking fires hot water at the Shiny iron snake Pokémon and lands a hit onto Steelix. "Use Scald again!"
"Dodge with Dig!" Sora ordered. Steelix dug into the ground to avoid Scald.
"Be ready! Steelix will come out from anywhere," the trainer said. Slowking looked around and emerged from underneath Slowking.
"Now, use Dragon Tail!" Sora ordered. Steelix smacks Slowking hard and fell backwards. Slowking was down and out.
"Two in a row?! No way!" The trainer exclaimed. "Okay, third time will be the charm." He called his Slowking back and took out his next Pokéball. "You go right in, Zangoose!" He threw his Pokéball and out came a Zangoose with blue markings, blue eyes, and reddish-brown claws. Sora calls back Steelix and takes looks over to his partner.
"Your turn, Pikachu!" Sora said.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu said.
"Zangoose! Start things up with your Fury Cutter!" The trainer ordered as Zangoose was coming at the mouse Pokémon.
"Dodge with Quick Attack!" Sora ordered. Pikachu uses his speed attack to dodge Zangoose's attack. "Fire Electro Ball!" Pikachu forms a ball of electricity and hurls it at Zangoose. "Strike Zangoose with Iron Tail!" Pikachu jumps and swings his tail.
"Zangoose! You use Iron Tail too!" The trainer ordered. Zangoose swings its tail at Pikachu and blocks Pikachu's Iron Tail in its tracks. "Now use Fury Cutter!" Zangoose comes at Pikachu to swipe at the mouse Pokémon.
"Dodge and use Thunderbolt!" Pikachu lands a powerful Thunderbolt onto Zangoose, paralyzing it.
"No! Zangoose!" The trainer exclaimed.
"Now use Iron Tail!" Sora ordered. Pikachu swung his tail at Zangoose and knocked it out. THe trainer was stunned to see his Zangoose was beaten.
"Oh no! I lost!" The trainer exclaimed.
"Way to go, Sora!" Ash said, giving him a highfive.
"Pikachu!" Ash's Pikachu said. Both Pikachu gave each other a tail five.
"No wonder you're the champ of Kanto, Johto and Hoenn. You gave me a real run for my money," the trainer said, after calling back his Zangoose.
"Thanks, you're no slouch yourself," Sora said. They both shook hands after a good match. Unaware, something was watching the battle closely. It is a small bear-like Pokémon. It has a dark-gray body. The feet have two toes shaped like triangles. It has three claws on each hand. On the chest is a white bow mark. The head has two spikes of hair on both sides with two more on the top of the head. The front of the head has a white streak with two spikes of hair and two black eyebrows. It has white eyes with black sclera and small brown spots. Two white hairs shaped like ribbons are located behind the head. It has a yellow mouth with a black round nose, and two little black marks. This Pokémon is known as a Kubfu. Kubfu was impressed by Sora's strength and wondered if it could be just as strong as the three Pokémon it was watching.
Sora, Ash, and their Pikachu made it to the mansiona nd payed the racing game with Cuphead and Mugman. After their video game playing, Sora, Kairi, Ash, Brock, May, Max, Riku, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Naminé, the Mane Seven, Spike, Flash, Timber, Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, Wario, Waluigi, the Kongs, Pit, Link, Zelda, Impa, Kirby, Bandana Dee, Meta Knight, Mega Man, Roll, Proto Man, Duo, the Robot Masters, X, Zero, Axl, Colonel, Iris, Alia, Layer, Pallette, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Shadow, Omega, Rouge, Cream, Cheese, Silver, Team Chaotix, Shantae, Sky, Bolo, Rottytops, Crash, Coco, Aku Aku, Dingodile, Spyro, Sparx, Elora, Hunter, Bianca, Sheila, Sgt. Byrd, Bentley, Agent 9, Banjo, Kazooie, Cuphead, Mugman, and the Pokémon all gathered to watch a movie. It felt like a movie theater, except it was on a smaller screen. Sora and Kairi were showing their friends some of their favorite movies, starting with the original Star Wars Trilogy. Kubfu had followed them over to the mansion.
Some of the girls swooned at the romance between Han Solo and Princess Leia. When they watched the Empire Strikes Back, they were all shocked to hear Luke's father is Darth Vader.
"Crickey!" Dingodile said in shock.
"That is so unexpected," Spyro said.
"Yeah," Cuphead said.
"Wait until Return of the Jedi," Sora said.
After watching Return of the Jedi, Kairi placed in one of her favorite movies. It was a romance film she watched before she met Sora. The girls could see why Kairi loved it so much. Pit and Sonic were almost falling asleep as the rest were watching on.
After a night's worth of sleep, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, and Meowth, were getting ready for their next mission and they were going with Crash and Coco again. Aku Aku was staying behind since he was asked by Shadow for some wisdom. Sora and Kairi were bringing Sobble, Arrocuda, Lapras, Huntail, Sharpedo, Goldeen, Tentacruel, the Johtonian Corsola, Goreybss, and Seadra with them. Seadra had been given a Dragon Scale Yamper had found very recently. Yamper also found a Metal Coat for Scyther.
"Okay, you all set?" Alia asked.
"Yeah, let's go and check it out," Sora said.
"The place I'm sending you this time is in Crash and Coco's world, but it's in a different time period. These dimensional rifts can also take you back or forward in time, so be careful when you get there," Alia warned them.
"You can count on us," Coco said.
"Here we go," Alia activates the dimensional rift and they go right on through. They arrived in the familair world, but it was out in sea. They were standing in some docks.
"And here we are," Coco said. She accessed her iPad. "According to this, we're right in the year 1717! It really does work!"
"Just what happened back in your world's history?" Sora asked.
"During the eighteenth century, it was a time for pirates. And like any pirate, they raided ships and stole treasure just to bury it," Coco explained.
"Shiver me timbers, that's quite a life, mateys," Meowth said.
"So, where are we right now? Kairi asked.
"It says we're in an area called Salty Wharf, that is located in the Pacific Ocean. Let's get going and see if we can find some lost Pokémon around here," Coco said.
"And keep an eye out for anyone who'll appear to be very unfriendly," Meowth said.
"Chu," Pikachu said.
"Vee," Angel said.
"N. Gin was one thing. The Hooligans and the Destructix guys were unexpected; even after what Rouge told us about," Coco said. Sora remembered it pretty well.
(Flashback)
It was shortly after Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Crash, Coco, Aku Aku, Shantae, Sky, Bolo, Rottytops, and Rouge returned from the Wumpa Islands as Rouge told the Mobians about the Hooligans and the Destructix.
"Just who are these guys anyway?" Sora asked.
"The Hooligans are a trio of bounty hunters in Mobius," Vector started. Charmy pulled up their files and displayed them. "The polar bear goes by the name of bark. He's a real quiet type and he acts as the muscle of the group. The duck is Bean the Dynamite. His specialty is demolition. He looks innocent enough, but he's more dangerous than he looks. And finally there's their leader. Nack the Weasel, AKA, Fang the Sniper. He's an ace gunslinger. He is motivated by money and he's extremely ruthless. So in other words, he can and will kick you while you're down."
"How awful, but what about the other ones?" Kairi asked.
"They're known as the Destructix. They're a band of mercenaries and they're also one of Mobius's most wanted criminals," Espio explained.
"They're like the Hooligans, but not as much," Charmy said.
"And now, to explain about them," Vector started. Vector displayed the wanted posters of each one. "First up is Drago Wolf, former Wolf Pack Freedom Fighter, banished by his own kind for disobeying orders and doing things his way. He is known for his savage might. Sleuth 'Doggy' Dawg. Former member of the Robotropolis Spy Network until defected. He has been wanted for stealing secrets to those like Dr. Eggman. Predator Hawk. An expert hunter. Also known for his combat abilities and firearm skills. Flying Frog. Known for his gliding ability and his wicked tongue since he can attack people with it. Sgt. Simian. He has enhanced strength and durability. He's also an expert on weapons proficiency. Lightning Lynx. A ninja known for his lightning reflexes. His enhanced hearing allows him to hear almost anything from at least a mile away. Fiona Fox. Former Freedom Fighter and Destructix second-in-command. She betrayed her fellow Freedom Fighters and everything we stand for. And finally, the leader of the Destructix, Scourge the Hedgehog. He was known as Anti-Sonic or Evil Sonic by many who knew him. As Sonic's duplicate, he has the same speed ability as Sonic. Formerly, he ruled Moebius, an alternate Mobius. He ruled Moebius with an iron fist. That was until he was overthrown by Sonic and a heroic version of Dr. Eggman, Dr. Ivo Kintobor."
"Wow, an evil version of Sonic. That is scary," Sora said. He wondered if there was a dimension like Moebius, where there was evil versions of Sora and Kairi and good versions of Team Rocket. Not only that, but evil versions of Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Shantae, Pit, Spyro, Crash, or maybe Kirby.
(Present day)
Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Crash, and Coco ventured through the Salty Wharf to find any clues of presence of any Pokémon or any other villain, like N. Gin. As they went through the wharf, they encountered several pirates which happens to be rats, seahorses, octopi, eels, and crabs. Despite their best efforts not to get spotted, they ended up relentlessly being pursued by the pirates.
"Arr! String those land lubbers by the gills!" A rat pirate said.
Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Crash, and Coco fought their way through the wharf.
Elsewhere in the wharf, a dimensional rift opens up as three female creatures appear out of it. One has light purple skin, magenta-colored eyes, and her hair is colored in a darker shade of purple. She has some mammal-like features such as a fluffy tail and nose. She also has fin-like ears covered by a pair of earpieces that act as hearing aids. The majority of her long hair tied into twin ponytails out the back of the head, with the rest of her hair formed into big spike-like points on the back. On the forehead, she wears her hair in form of a side swept bang, almost covering her left eye. She wore a light blue sleeveless vest on top of a white tank top and light blue shorts that are held by a dark blue belt with a golden box-frame buckle. She also wears light blue gloves with yellow trims, and light blue leather boots with yellow soles and rowel-like metal pieces on the side of the heels. The earpieces she wears have an angular "reverse C"-shaped frame with a blue drop-shaped gem placed onto it. On promotional art, the vest and shorts are often depicted as a full-piece cloth. The second one is a green wildcat with dark green stripes and green eyes. The tips of her tail and ears are black, while the inner parts of her ears and midriff are white with yellow edges. Her outfit is a black tank top that shows off her midriff, dark green cargo shorts and black biker gloves with yellow cuffs. her boots are black and green with yellow laces. The third one is a basset hound puppy with ivory-white fur, bushy orange hair, bright green eyes and large ears with a set of four bright green discs on them. She wore a sleeveless, beige unitard-like outfit with a bright green tag and shows off a green outfit with white stripes underneath; most likely a swimsuit.
"Where are we?" The purple girl asked.
"I don't know, but it looks nice," the hound girl said.
"It sure does, Milla. And it kinda reminds me of Avalice," the purple girl said.
"It does, Lilac, but it doesn't mean that it is, Avalice. This could be an alternate Avalice," the cat girl said.
"It's worth looking into, Carol. Come on. We got to find a way out of here," Lilac said.
"I just hope we don't draw too much attention here," Carol said.
Lilac, Carol, and Milla ventured through the wharf and saw how it was different from their world. The pirates spotted them and attacked. Sash whips the pirates with her hair as Carol slashes at the pirates. Milla creates a green cube and threw it at the pirates.
"So much for not drawing attention," Lilac said.
"Make them walk the plank!" A pirate crab said.
"You first!" Lilac said as she plowed through them. Carol grabs one of the rat pirates and threw him to the others. Several more rat pirates drew out forks and knives and threw them. Luckily, Milla forms a green shield and blocked the utensils.
"Thanks Milla," Carol said.
"You'd do the same for me, Carol," Milla said.
"Come on! Let's go!" Lilac said. She dashed right into the pirates, knocking a few of them in the ocean. A pirate octopus swung his swords in his tentacles to chop Milla into bits, but she blocked with her energy shield. Carol disarmed the octopus pirate to help her. Lilac, Carol, and Milla fought their way through to notice some TNT and a cannon being lit.
"Uh-oh," the girls all said. Luckily for them, a dimensional rift opens up for them and they quickly rushed right in.
Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Angel, Meowth, Crash, and Coco made it to another part of the wharf with their path blocked off by pirate rats.
"The only way ye scurvy dogs will make it through this point tis through us!" One of the pirate rats said.
"And that's what we plan to do," Sora said. A cannonball comes flying down at the rats and they get blown to bits. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Eevee, Meowth, Crash, and Coco were dumbfounded by this unexpected turn of events. "That was easy."
"A little too easy if you ask me," Coco said.
"It won't be easy the further we go," Kairi said.
"She's right, because we'll have an army of pirates on our tails," Meowth said.
"Well, I'm pretty much used to having an army coming at us about now anyway. Now, let's get a move on before something else happens," Sora said.
Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Crash, and Coco continued on to the wharf to find a Pokémon in distress. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, and Meowth rode on Lapras as Crash rode on Sharpedo and Coco rode on Gorebyss. Huntail, Sobble, Arrocuda, Tentacruel, Seadra, Corsola, and Goldeen swam with them to keep away some hungry sharks. There were great white sharks who thought they got lucky, but they were attacked by the Pokémon before they could strike. Goldeen rams his horn in the shark as he started to evolve much to Crash and Coco's surprise. Goldeen was now a Seaking. The newly evolved Seaking rammed his horn at the sharks.
"Wow, that keeps getting even more awesome every time I see it," Coco said. Crash nodded with agreement. More sharks started to come as Seadra and Arrokuda rammed into the sharks. Due to the Dragon Scale Yamper had found, Seadra started to evolve. Arrocuda also started to evolve. Seadra was now a Kingdra, much to Kairi's delight. Arrokuda had evolved into a Barrasweda is a fish-like, sandy brown Pokémon with a thin body. A fish spine like design runs down both sides of its body. A brown layer covers the top part of its body, as well as its tail and head. The head has a sharp end resembling a spear and two deep triangular eye sockets. Its jaw resembling a stereotypical French moustache with one big and small fang. The end of its head which connects to its body resemblesGolduck, while it has one small brown fin and a bigger dorsal fin with orange scales, which are the same as the fins on the underside. Its tail is four orange sail-like appendages attached to a white piece which spins like a propeller. "What Pokémon is that?"
"This is Kingdra. She's a Water Type and a Dragon Type," Kairi said.
"Arrokuda's new look is new for me. Better see what my Pokédex has on him," Sora said, scanning his newly evolved Pokémon.
Barraskewda, the Skewer Pokémon
The evolved form of Arrokuda
Type: Water
This Pokémon has a jaw that's as sharp as a spear and as strong as steel. It spins its tail fins to propel itself, surging forward at speeds of over 100 knots before ramming prey and spearing into them.
"Barraskewda, huh? Nice!" Sora said.
"And what jaws," Coco said, while amazed. Crash looked at Barraskewda and then right at Sharpedo. He wanted to see if how he would bite, but Sharpedo knocked the male bandicoot off his back. Sobble dives under and gets him. Crash spits out some water as soon as Sobble. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, and Meowth reached a series of ships. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Crash, and Coco boarded one only to end up being captured and tied up. They were hung upside down.
"This is not going well for us," Sora said.
"And it won't wend for us either. We can't make contact while our hands are tied up," Kairi said.
"I'm more worried about the blood rushing in my head than making contact back home," Meowth said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"It can't get any worse," Sora said.
"Oh, but it just did, porqupine head," a female voice spoke, making them turn to see Risky Boots.
"Who are you?" Coco asked.
"I saw you with Ganondorf and the others! You're in charge here?" Sora asked.
"Just the trap I have in store for you. The name's Risky Boots, the Queen of the Seven Seas! And you're right, I've been working with Ganondorf for quite a while. You've been quite a little pest after you took down Team Rocket just like that. Not that I'm angry or anything," Risky said.
"I have that way when it came to bad guys," Sora said.
Risky gagged, "This is why I hate anyone do-gooders like you, kid. Especially when they protect something they love. I could just kill all of you, but Ganondorf said you're more valuable alive. And luckily, I got you before Eggman's bounty hunters could." She turned to the pirate rats. "You vermin keep an eye on them and make sure they don't cause trouble."
"Aye," one of the pirate rats said.
The rats pointed their utensils at their prisoners. Not too far on another ship, Tawna spots them. She looked right at Crash and Coco and she felt happy and scared at the same time, but she couldn't afford to hesitate.
"Hold on, guys! I'm coming!" Tawna called out. She started to make her way to the captives, fighting her way through.
In Ponyville, Sugar Belle is preparing some pies as a long tongue reached inside and snatched the pie cooling on the windowsill. The tongue belonged to Lickitung as it chewed on the pie. Lickitung spat out the pie tin. Lickitung peeked inside and smelled the apple pies. Lickitung stretched its tongue to reach for the apples when Sugar Belle turned to see Lickitung reaching for the apples. Her screams startled the licking Pokémon and fell backwards. Lickitung ran right into a tree. Sugar Belle came to see the Lickitung getting back on its feet.
"What are you and where did you come from?" Sugar Belle asked.
"Lickitung," Lickitung said.
"Are you hurt?" Sugar Belle asked kindly.
"Lickitung, Licki," Lickitung said.
"Did you run because you were scared?" Sugar Belle asked.
"Tung," Lickitung nodded.
"Sorry for scaring you. It's just you kinda surprised me. Were you just hungry?" Sugar Belle asked.
"Licki," Lickitung said.
"I was just baking some apple pie when I caught you. I never seen anything like you before, but I have to say, you're pretty cute," Sugar Belle complimented. Lickitung smiled and affectionately licked her face. She giggled between licks. "I like you too." Lickitung stopped licking the unicorn. Big Mac came back to see his marefriend with something he never seen before. She turned to see Big Mac looking right at her. "Hey, Big Mac." She nuzzles the stallion and he nuzzles her back. Lickitung got curious about Big Mac and walked right up to him. Lickitung then licks Big Mac in the face. He shudders after he was licked.
Over to Wobbufett, the patient Pokémon wondered around Ponyville for a while.
"Wobbufett," Wobbufett said. Wobbufett was getting some odd looks from the various ponies around. A cart was coming at him at an alarming speed.
"Watch out!" A voice called out. Wobbufett turned to see the cart coming at him. Wobbufett lifts his tail and became covered in orange energy and the cart bounces off.
"Wobbu," Wobbufett said.
"Did you see that?" A random pony asked.
"That blue thing just blocked the cart!" Another pony said.
"Wobbufett," Wobbufett said.
Starlight is spending some time with a blue unicorn mare with her mane and tail being mixed with blue and silver, wearing a purple cloak and wizard's hat patterned with stars all over the two accessories.Her cutie mark is a star-tipped wand with a blue crescent moon. The blue unicorn was telling Starlight a very funny joke.
"And the cow said, 'You sure you're not just milking it?'" Trixie joked as Starlight laughed.
"You sure know how to tell a good joke, Trixie. And if Pinkie were here, she would agree," Starlight said.
"Pinkie was the one who told it and I Pinkie Promised to tell it to you one of these days. Also. I missed you like crazy. I don't get to spend so much time with you when I'm on the road," Trixie said.
"Still, I'm glad you came. It'll get my mind off of what's been going on lately," Starlight said.
"And would that be?" Trixie asked with interest.
"Only because you asked. I've been hearing talk about some weird creatures going around. For example, I heard there was this crow that's been stealing anything that sparkles. That crow has head feathers shaped like your hat. Also, I heard there was also a bug with mushrooms on its back.
"Mushrooms on its back? Now that is weird," Trixie said.
"Well, here is what's really werid. I heard there's this thing that comes out scares the cutie marks off of ponies. Anypony who seen it says it's a monster coming out of a bush. It's got yellow eyes and it tries to bite you when you get too close," Starlight said.
"How does Twilight plan on handling it?" Trixie asked.
"She's trying to figure that out ever since those creatures started showing up," Starlight said.
Unknown to the mares, Girafarig walks out of the bushes and heads for some water to drink. Girafarig's tail looks around for anything coming after it.
Fluttershy was feeding some fish in the pond some bread crubs.
"Eat up, there's plenty for everypony," Fluttershy said. The fish happily ate the breadcrumbs only to be startled by a small figure swimming from underneath. Fluttershy almost flinched when she saw the figure was only Wooper swimming in the lake.
"Wooper," Wooper chirpded.
"Oh my goodness, I never seen you before," Fluttershy said.
"Wooper," Wooper said.
"Aren't you just the cutest little thing?" Fluttershy asked. Wooper started to nuzzle the yellow pegasus on her right foreleg.
Over to Stantler, the caribou-like Pokémon was happily eating some grass outside the Everfree Forest when a very large and very hungry manticore approached the big horn Pokémon. Stantler heard the snarls as Stantler unleashed its scent from its antlers. The manticores got a whiff of the scent and blinked twice. The manticores looked around and thought it was seeing flashing lights and ran back in the Everfree Forest. Stantler went back to eating. Ditto was watching from afar. Ditto transformed into a falcon and flew off.
Over to Snubbull, the fairy Pokémon wondered the streets of Ponyville and met up with the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Snubbull ran up to the fillies to play.
"Snubbull!" Snubbull said.
"Huh?" The Cutie Mark Crusaders asked as they saw Snubbull.
"What is that?" Scootaloo asked.
"A small pink bulldog, maybe?" Apple Bloom replied.
"I can tell you one, it's pretty cute," Sweetie Belle said. Apple Bloom and Scootaloo looked at her funny.
"You think this thing is cute?" Scootaloo asked.
"Sure I do. I mean, just look at it. It looks scary on the outside, it's very cute on the inside," Sweetie Belle said.
"Snubbull," the fairy Pokémon said.
"And it looks like it wants to be our friend," Sweetie Belle said.
"Bull," Snubbull said.
"Ah'll admit, it's very nice," Apple Bloom said.
"And it seems to like Sweetie Belle. So why not?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"Snubull, bull, bull, bull," Snubbull said. Snubbull was happy to be playing with its new friends.
Back in Salty Wharf, Tawna was getting close to the captives and readies to free them.
"Eyes on target," Tawna said. She reached Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Crash and Coco and gave the rat pirates a deserved kick out to the sea. She takes out a cutlass and cuts the rope, making them drop. "You guys okay?"
"Yeah, thanks to you," Sora said.
"Yeah, thank you so much for-" Coco paused when she saw the face of their savior. "Wait a minute? Tawna?" Crash looked at her quit dumbfounded to see her.
"Who?" Sora asked.
"So you know her?" Kairi asked.
"Yeah, kinda. She's different somehow, I ean completely different," Coco said. Crash eyed her from different angels to make sure it was really her. "You're not from our universe." Crash pokes her head, to earn a conk on the head. She points at them and clicks.
"It's great to see you guys. It's been a long time for me," Tawna said.
"So, we lost touch in your universe too, huh?" Coco asked.
Tawna paused for a moment remembering a terrible tragedy. She spoke, "Uh, yeah, you could say that." Coco chuckled.
"What we like die or something?" Coco joked.
Tawna answered fast, "What? No! Nope. No!Ha! Nope! Definitely not! So how are things in your dimension?"
"Pretty much the same thing. Evil villains working in conquering the multiverse," Coco said.
"Huh, so, uh, what are you collecting? Crystals?" Tawna asked.
"No," Coco answered and Crash shakes his head.
"Gems?" Tawna asked, making her hands in a gem-shape.
"We're keeping our eyes open for creatures not from this universe, but from theirs," Coco replied, gesturing to Sora and Kairi. Tawna remembered seeing them in Subcon a while back. She figured she was going to see them again.
"So, who are they?" Tawna asked.
"This is Sora and his girlfriend Kairi. They're helping us out and we've been crashing in their home dimension," Coco said. Tawna looked at Pikachu and Meowth and remembered seeing Pikachu with Ash and Meowth with his Team Rocket.
"Wait a minute. Sora? You know there was this kid who was asking about you a while back. He has a yellow fuzzball like your friend here. What was his name again? Al?" Tawna asked.
"Ash?!" Sora exclaimed.
"Yeah, that's right. There was also a kid named Red too. He wanted me to tell you that he says hi," Tawna said.
"I think I'll return the favor when me and Kairi see him," Sora said.
"Thanks, you do that," Tawna said, heading in the opposite direction.
"Wait! you're not coming with us?" Coco asked.
"Sorry, but I fly solo," Tawna said. Crash and Coco looked at her depressed. "But I'll lend a hand when I can, like I already did." Tawna threw her grappling hook and swung off. Coco was sad to see her off as her brother placed his hand on her shoulder.
Sora made contact with Alia and she activated a dimensional rift and brought them back home before Risky Boots returned to find them missing.
"Those stupid fools! They let them get away! I knew I should have brought the Tinkerbats with me. I don't know how they got loose and I don't care! No one makes a fool out of Risky Boots and walks!" Risky threatened.
Over to Lilac, Carol, and Milla, they arrived in aworld of unknown origins. They looked around to their new surroundings and saw they stood before Shovel Knight.
"Who is he?" Carol asked.
"Is he friendly?" Milla asked.
"I hope so," Lilac said.
"I assure you, I am not your enemy. I am in league with others who share your ambitions to protect," Shovel Knight said.
"He seems friendly enough," Milla said.
"Agreed. Just who are you, stranger?" Lilac asked.
"You may call me Shovel Knight," Shovel Knight said. "Now, come." Shovel Knight led the trio to the meeting place. Blaze, Samus, the Bomberman Brothers, Ratchet, Clank, Jak, Daxter, and Keira are meeting. They were accompanied by others as well. One is a short knight in silver armor and has a red beard. One is a teenaged boy who is wearing Mega Man's armor, except for the helmet and has brown spiky hair. Also there is an anthropomorphic fox wearing red boots, a green jumpsuit with a grey jacket, gloves, a red scarf, a belt witha fox-shaped emblem on the back.
"Now that we are here, I would like our newest members to speak their names," Blaze said. The knight spoke up first.
"I am Sir Arthur," the knight spoke.
"Volnutt. People often calls me Mega Man," The teenaged boy said.
"I'm Fox McCloud, leader of Star Fox," the fox spoke.
"I'm Sash Lilac. But call me Lilac. With me are Carol and Milla," Lilac introduced and pointed to her two friends.
"I'm Blaze the Cat and we are to talk about the Brotherhood of Darkness," Blaze said.
"The who?" Fox asked.
"The enemy I fear," Sir Arthur said.
"Yes. We made it so that only those whose intentions are pure to enter here. And your arrival is proof enough," Blaze said.
"Is that why you brought us here?" Fox asked.
"Indeed, Fox McCloud. Blaze wouldn't even need us if the crisis wasn't dire," Clank said.
"And that's the Brotherhood of Darkness," Ratchet said.
"We've been looking into it and need all the help we can get since the army we're facing is powerful," Shovel Knight said.
"Agreed. Possibly more powerful than I thought," Blaze said.
Back in Pallet Town, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Crash, and Coco returned and found no new Pokémon wondering around in Crash's world, but told Ash that they met Tawna. And when Risky Boots was mentioned, Shantae didn't like how that sounded.
"Risky Boots?! I knew she had to be involved in this somehow!" Shantae said.
"How do you and she know each other?" Kairi asked.
"Risky is bad news. She and her Tinkerbats has always been attacking Scuttle Town whenever she comes over. She's cold-blooded and cold-hearted," Shantae said.
"Well, she's running with Ganondorf's crew. We just don't expect it to be a walk in the park from here," Coco said.
"Coco's right. Something else might happen," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
Risky Boots almost had Sora in the Brotherhood of Darkness's hands, but it was lucky for him and Kairi that Tawna had come along. Will Tawna keep flying solo or will she join forces with the rest of the heroes? Just wait and see.
