Episode 323: Setting The World On Its Buneary
A couple of days had passed since Sora had adopted Chimchar after being abandoned by his former cruel trainer Paul, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, and Meowth continued on to Jubilife City. Along the way, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, and Meowth came across dark blue, bipedal Pokémon that resembles a poison dart frog. It has yellow eyes, which are surrounded by black markings. There are orange, expandable pouches on its cheeks, and its teeth are wide and flat. A black marking encircles its upper arms and chest, and there are white bands around its chest. It has three fingers and toes, most of which are black. The only digits that are not black are its center fingers, which are orange instead. The orange pouches huffs as the Pokémon breathed.
"What kind of Pokémon is that?" Ventus asked.
"I don't know," Sora said.
"I think I do. That's a Pokémon called a Croagunk. I never seen one before, but I heard about them," Terra said.
"Croagunk, huh?" Sora asked, taking out his Pokédex and scanned the Pokémon.
Croagunk, the Toxic Mouth Pokémon
Type: Poison/Fighting
It makes frightening noises with its poison-filled cheek sacs. When opponents flinch, Croagunk hits them with a poison jab. Once diluted, its poison becomes medicinal. This Pokémon came into popularity after a pharmaceutical company chose it as a mascot.
"Wow, they sure made a good choice with Croagunk," Sora said. Croagunk looked right at Sora. He looked right back at the toxic mouth Pokémon and felt very special connection with it. Kairi could tell there was a connection between her boyfriend and Croagunk.
"Sora," Kairi could only say. He turned to Kairi. "I think he likes you, Sora." Sora looked back at Croagunk as he inflates and deflates his sacks. Croagunk reaches his hand out to Sora and he takes the poison dart frog Pokémon's hand as well.
"You wanna hang with us?" Sora asked. "A Pokémon like you can go far with us." Croagunk kept looking at Sora and nodded. Sora took out a Pokéball and Croagunk flows right inside. Stars swirls aroundn the Pokéball confirming the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box activates and it asks him if he wants to keep Croagunk with him. He chose to send Croagunk over to Professor Oak's lab. "Welcome aboard, Croagunk."
Over to Skorupi, he follows the trail of the humans and the three humans. Skorupi managed to track them down.
After catching a Croagunk, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, and Meowth walking down the forest as they came across a boy with big glasses.
"Hey there, you're that Sora Ketchum guy, aren't you?" The boy said.
"Yeah. I am. You challenging me in a battle, man?" Sora asked.
"Yeah I am. I wanna battle you! So, I figure it'll be five of mine against five of yours. So, what do you say?" The boy challenged.
"Okay. I could use some exercise for my very first Sinnoh Gym battle," Sora said.
"Cool! And since I made the challenge, I get to choose first!" The boy said, taking out a Pokéball and he threw it. "Carnivine! Go!" The Pokéball opens and out comes a Carnivine. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned it.
Carnvine, the Bug Catcher Pokémon
Type: Grass
Hanging from branches using its tentacles, it looks like a plant. It awaits prey, mouth wide open. Doing so, it attracts prey with its sweet-smelling saliva, then chomps down. It takes a whole day to eat prey.
Sora thought of which one to use. He thought about using either Scorbunny or Chimchar. He decided to go with Chimchar since it'll be his first battle as Sora's Pokémon.
"Go right in, Chimchar!" Sora called out. Chimchar came right out and got ready for battle.
"Carnivine! Bite!" The boy ordered. Carnivine lunges right the chimp Pokémon.
"Dodge it!" Sora called out. Chimchar just stood there and took the bite. "Chimchar!" Sora knew this was bad because of Paul's way of training. But he thought of something new. "Chimchar! Ember while you're inside!" Chimchar fires Ember right inside the bug catcher Pokémon's mouth. Carnivine spat Chimchar out.
"Carnivine! Vine Whip!" The boy ordered. Carnivine sends out its vines to smack Chimchar on the mark.
"Chimchar! Dig!" Sora ordered. Chimchar dug into the ground to avoid Carnivine's Vine Whip attack. Carnivine misses Chimchar.
"That Chimchar is going to come out at any moment! And as soon as you see it, give a barrage of Bullet Seed!" The boy ordered. Carnivine understood and waited for the fire monkey Pokémon to come out. Chimchar comes on out, so Carnivine fires Bullet Seed right at him. Chimchar got hit by Bullet Seed.
"Flame Wheel!" Sora ordered. Chimchar rolled into a ball of fire and strucked Carnivine hard and Carnivine was taken down.
"Yeah! That's the way, Sora!" Ventus cheered. Chimchar did his own celebration when he realized Sora was standing there. He quickly regained his footing as he looked right at Sora.
"Char," Chimchar said in an apologetic tone.
"You did great, Chimchar! I'm proud of you!" Sora said. Chimchar beamed at being praised by his new trainer, which was nothing his last trainer ever did. Sora calls Chimchar back as the boy calls back his Carnivine. He took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Go right in, Bibarel!" The boy called out as his Bibarel came out to battle. Sora took out his Pokédex again and scanned it.
Bibarel, the Beaver Pokémon
The evolved form of Bidoof
Type: Normal/Water
It makes its nest by damming streams with bark and mud. It is known as an industrious worker. While its movements out of water are sluggish, it can swim as fast as any Feebas.
"Bibarel is a Water Type and also a Normal Type. I think I know which one I'm going with," Sora said, taking out a Pokéball. Pikachu assumed he was talking about him. Pikachu tugs on his leg and looked at his partner. "Sorry buddy, Pikachu, but I think it's only fair that Turtwig gets his first battle too. Promise that the next one's yours."
"Pika," Pikachu said, holding Sora to the promise.
"Okay, go! Turtwig!" Sora called out as his Turtwig comes on out.
"A Turtwig, huh? This'll be fun! Bibarel! Start things up with your Iron Tail!" The boy ordered. Bibarel raises its flat tail while it's giving off a metallic glow. Bibarel brings its tail down.
"Dodge and use Bite!" Sora ordered. Turtwig avoids Bibarel's Iron Tail and then lands a bite onto Bibarel's tail. "Now, use Razor Leaf!" Turtwig fires Razor Leaf at Bibrel.
"Dodge and use Ice Beam!" The boy ordered. Bibarel fires Ice Beam right at the tiny leaf Pokémon and got frozen solid.
"Turtwig!" Sora gasped.
"Turtwig, hang in there!" Ventus called out.
"Turtwig's frozen! Finish it with Super Fang!" The boy ordered. Bibarel heads right towards Turtwig to land the finishing blow.
"Turtwig! Razor Leaf!" Sora ordered. Turtwig tries to fire Razor Leaf. but he's too cold to even move all because of Bibarel's Ice Beam effect. Bibarel lands a hit onto Turtwig, earning a knockout. Sora calls back Turtwig. "Don't worry about it, Turtwig, you'll do better next time." Sora turned to his partner. "You're up now, Pikachu."
"Pikachu!" Pikachu said, heading right in to battle. The boy calls back his Bibarel and took out his next Pokéball.
"Okay, your turn now, Machoke!" The boy called out as he threw it. His Machoke enters flexing its muscles. "Machoke! Begin with your Karate Chop!" Machoke moves in to deliver a chop onto Pikachu.
"Dodge by using Quick Attack!" Sora ordered. Pikachu avoids Machoke's Karate Chop and dashed and lands a hit onto the superpower Pokémon . "Now use Thunderbolt!" Pikachu gave Machoke a powerful shock. Machoke landed on its knee, not giving up at the least.
"Machoke! Dynamic Punch!" The boy ordered. Machoke gets its fist ready for a punch attack.
"Pikachu! Iron Tail!" Sora ordered. Pikachu blocks Dynamic Punch with his Iron Tail. "Thunderbolt!" Pikachu gave Machoke another Thunderbolt. "Electro Ball!" Pikachu forms a ball of electricity and lands a hit onto the superpower Pokémon, earning a knockout. The boy calls back his Machoke.
"That wasn't bad, but it's not over yet!" The boy said, taking out another Pokéball. "Your turn to shine, Growlithe!" The Pokéball opens and lets out a Growlithe with a golden yellow coat. Stars swirls around the Growlithe upon entry.
"Take five, Pikachu!" Sora said. Pikachu comes on back earning a victory kiss on the cheek from Angel. Sora took out his next Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Piplup!" Piplup comes out ready to face.
"That's a pretty big Piplup you got there. Big or not and Water Type or not, your Piplup doesn't stand a chance against my Growlithe! And I'll prove it too! Growlithe! Wild Charge!" Growlithe ran towards Piplup, giving off electricity.
"Piplup! Dodge and use Pound!" Sora ordered. Piplup avoids Grolwithe's attack and lands a pound onto the puppy Pokémon. "Now, use Bubble Beam!" Piplup fires Bubble Beam right at the Shiny Growlithe.
"Dodge and use Flame Charge!" The boy ordered. Growlithe ran towards Piplup with flames surrounding its body.
"Dodge it, Piplup!" Sora called out. Piplup avoids Flame Charge.
"Flame Charge again!" The boy ordered. Growlithe charges right at Piplup again.
"Dodge it!" Sora called out. Piplup tried to avoid Growlithe's Flame Charge, but Piplup got hit due to its increased speed.
"Piplup! Hydro Pump!" Sora ordered. Piplup fires Hydro Pump to finish Groliwthe off.
"Growlithe! Wild Charge!" The boy ordered. Growlithe charges at Piplup with electricity. Piplup kept on firing Hydro Pump as Growlithe kept on dodging. Growlithe and Piplup kept up on their attacks. Growlithe makes a successful blow onto Piplup and suffered some recoil damage. Both were taken down. "Growlithe!"
"Piplup!" Sora said, picking up Piplup. "You okay?"
"Lup," Piplup weakly responded.
"Don't worry about it. You did awesomely. You should rest up for a while," Sora said. He calls back Piplup as the boy calls back Growlithe. Sora took out his next Pokéball and threw it. "Scorbunny! Your turn!" Scorbunny came out and ready to battle. The rabbit Pokémon kicks the air for a bit. His opponent takes out his next Pokéball.
"Go! Geodude!" The boy called out as he threw it. His Geodude comes out and ready to battle the rabbit Pokémon. Sora knew Scorbunny is at a disadvantage, but Scorbunny's Double Kick will get the job done. "Geodude! Start things up with Rock Throw!" Geodude hurls some rocks right at Scorbunny.
"Dodge with Quick Attack!" Sora ordered. Scorbunny uses his speed attack to avoid the rocks falling down. "Now, use Double Kick!" Scorbunny gave the rock Pokémon a couple of good kicks.
"Geodude! Fire Punch!" The boy ordered. Geodude got ready to deliver a burning punch onto the rabbit Pokémon.
"Blaze Kick!" Sora ordered. Scorbunny heads for Geodude and collides Blaze Kick with Fire Punch. Both held on as the collision resulted in an explosion. Sora figured he would use the smoke to his advantage. "Scorbunny! Listen for Geodude's movements in the smoke!" Scorbunny puts his ears to the use as he listens for Geodude.
"Geodude! Use Hammer Arm to blow the smoke away!" The boy ordered. Geodude swings its arms around as Scorbunny heard Geodude move. Geodude removes the smoke, leaving the rabbit Pokémon exposed. "Gothcha!"
"Double Kick!" Sora ordered. Scorbunny gave the rock Pokémon a couple of heavy kicks. Geodude was now down and out.
"No way!" The boy exclaimed.
"Good job, Scorbunny!" Sora praised.
"Bun!" Scorbunny said.
"You're even better than I thought. And with moves like those, you'll mop the floor with that first Gym Leader!" The boy said.
"Thanks. Anyway, how close are we to Jubilife City from here?" Sora asked.
"You're almost there actually. You're not entering the upcoming Pokémon Contest, are you?" The boy asked.
"No, but my girlfriend is. Along with a friend," Sora said, gesturing to Kairi. He looked right at her and adjusted his glasses.
"Oh, the girl with the Eevee? Wait a minute?! You mean the Coordinator who won first in the Hoenn Grand Festival is your girlfriend?" The boy asked surprised.
"Yes she is," Sora said.
"Anyway, you should get there by tomorrow afternoon," the boy said.
"Thanks a lot," Sora said.
Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, and Meowth continued on their way to Jubilife City. As the sun was setting, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, and Meowth made a stop to rest for the night.
Over in Jublife City, a pair of scientists were doing some research on the virual Pokémon, Porygon, Porgygon2, and Porygon-Z. Their goal was to detemined how a Pokémon made of data is alive.
"Can you believe something like this?" One of the scientists asked.
"I know. Porygon is an amazing Pokémon. It's like the data itself somehow came to life," another scientist said.
"I would say it was ludacris. But after all the research we've been doing, I would say just about anything is possible at this point," the first scientist said.
"Especially after all those Porygon somehow got out. Sightings have gone through like wildfire. Some trainers would get lucky if they end up catching a Porygon," the second scientist.
"The Porygon line aren't the only sentiment data," a new voice spoke. They turned to see a third scientist coming in. "It is my belief that these Porygon are somehow connected to that virual world."
"Virual world? How is that possible?" The second scientist asked.
"Anything is possible, like he said. I have been looking into this for many years. And it is only a matter of time before they make themselves known in the world, the same as the Porygon line," the third scientist said.
They could wonder what they meant by that. Could there be any living data other than Porygon, Porgygon2, or Porygon-Z? We take a look into this strange world again as the dinosaur-like creature and the Porygon from before head for the woods. Some slug-like creatures with purple spots on their backs hide in the soda machines as another creature is a yellow-skinned lizard in a bluish white pelt with navy blue markings and has a yellow horn protrudes at the top of his head. He spots the dinosaur and Porygon walking.
On the very next morning outside of Jubilife City, a Buneary comes on out from its home and perks its ears as it hears something. Buneary sees a band of Pokémon. Manaphy and Phione were fighting over an apple as Turtwig intervened by tackling it out of their little hands. Knowing they'd cry Pikachu jumps to catch it. Watching the scene, Buneary was at awe at the mouse Pokémon catching the apple. Manaphy and Phione wanted to have the apple for themselves, but Pikachu broke the apple in half and gave the two baby Pokémon in half. Manaphy and Phione ate the apple happily.
"That's a good way to break up a fight." - Turtwig subtitle.
"That would have alerted Sora or Kairi. Also, tackling the apple like that was a little too much, becuase they're still just babies." - Pikachu subtitle. Turtwig grinned sheepishly. Buneary was eyeing Pikachu as its face tinted pink. It was obvious this Buneary is a female.
Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, and Meowth all wake up from the sleep they all had.
"Nothing like good snooze," Meowth said, stretching his back.
"You've said it, Meowth. Any idea for breakfast?" Ventus asked.
"I was thinking of some nice hot pancakes to start the morning," Kairi said.
"Sounds good to me," Sora said.
"Figures," Terra and Meowth both said.
"What was that?" Aqua asked, giving Terra a look.
"Nothing," Terra fibbed. Before Meowth could say something, he placed his hand on his mouth.
It took a few minutes for Kairi to get everything ready. Skorupi eventually caught up with them. Skorupi started to go up to them when Buneary stepped in.
"What do you want? I saw that Pikachu first!" - Buneary subtitle. Skorupi looked at Buneary like she was crazy.
"What are you going on about? I'm just heading right towards those guys for something to eat! They got food and I want it!" - Skorupi subtitle.
"A likely story!" - Buneary subtitle. She fires Ice Beam at Skorupi and gave him a good solid kick. The frozen scorpion Pokémon goes flying, catching everyone's attention as they were eating. They all ducked down as it flies really fast. Officer Jenny drives on her motorcycle and she skids as she makes a crash into a tree. The sound of the crash, catches their attention and they see the policewoman injured.
"Officer Jenny! You okay?!" Sora asked while he, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, and Aqua went to help her up.
"Yes, I am," Officer Jenny answered. Terra helps her up. "Now, which one of you threw that flying object at me?" Sora winced at the thought of going to jail for something he nor any of his friends did.
"Well, it wasn't me. It wasn't any of is because we saw it too," Sora said.
"Sure caught us by surprise," Ventus said.
"We didn't even know you were out here," Kairi said.
"All the same, you should be careful about throwing certain objects, because someone could get seriously hurt," Officer Jenny scolded.
"We'll be very careful," Terra said.
"But what brings you out here?" Sora asked. Officer Jenny took out a photo taken recently.
"Have any of you seen any of these people recently?" Officer Jenny asked. Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, and Aqua took a look at the photo and didn't recognize the people on it.
"No, we haven't," Sora said.
"Who are they?" Ventus asked.
"These people here are members of a criminal organization calling itself Team Galatic. I recieved a tip that one of its members was spotted in this forest, so I have been keeping track of it," Officer Jenny said.
"Team Galactic?" Sora asked.
"Judging by your reaction, I would say you're not from the Sinnoh region, right?" Officer Jenny asked.
"No. Until now, we never heard of them. But we'll keep our eyes peeled for them," Sora said.
"When you do, be very careful, because Team Galactic is a ruthless bunch. And be sure to inform me at once when you do," Officer Jenny said. She left with a salute and continued on her patrol. They sat back down to continue breakfast and now, had to be on alert for the Team Galactic grunt loose.
Speaking of which, the Team Galactic grunt was searching for clues about a particular Pokémon. Just as they ate, Bidoof had a sudden urge to chew, so she went to find a tree to chew on and unknowingly went towards Buneary's direction. Bidoof went into the bush and Buneary jumped right out, startling Bidoof as well. Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, and Meowth. Pikachu, Angel and the other Pokémon were surprised as well.
"What the?!" Ventus exclaimed.
"A Buneary," Aqua said.
"How lucky we are to see a wild one," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu agreed. Buneary winked right at Pikachu, much to his confusion. Angel saw she was showing interst in Pikachu, but her cheeks puffs up with jealousy. Buneary makes her way to Pikachu and pulls up her fur. The rabbit Pokémon blushes, much to Pikachu's surprise and discomfort. Angel's blood was boiling as she charges at Buneary with Quick Attack, knocking her back.
"Ooh! Hitting on someone else's boyfriend! Not a good call," Meowth said. Ventus looked at Meowth confused.
"What do you mean, Meowth?" Ventus asked.
"I think I know what he means. Buneary is a girl, and she's got a crush on Pikachu, so Angel isn't having it," Kairi said. Buneary got up on her feet and glared right at Angel with sparks flying.
"Eevee, Eevee, vee,vee, Ee, Eevee, Eevee!" Angel snapped at her.
"What did Angel say?" Aqua asked.
"She told her that Pikachu is her man and she should get lost and find her own," Meowth translated.
"Bun, Bun, Bun, Buneary, Bun! Buneary, eary, Buneary!" Buneary yelled.
"Translation?" Sora asked.
"Buneary is saying that she wants Pikachu for herself and she's the one who should get lost," Meowth translated.
"Angel is not sharing her man to anyone else," Kairi said. Kairi knows how that felt. She remembered when Gaselle was hitting on Sora when she first met him. Kairi was glad Sora had eyes on only her.
"Eevee, Ee, Eevee, vee, vee!" Angel hissed.
"Meowth?" Terra asked.
"She said she'll be giving Buneary one chance to back off or else things'll get ugly," Meowth translated.
Buneary came at Angel and gave her a Dizzy Punch in the face. Angel fought back giving her a Headbutt. Buneary jumps in the air and then comes on down.
"Buneary's using Bounce!" Aqua said.
"Angel!" Kairi gasped.
Angel dodges and uses Swift. Buneary fires Ice Beam and freezes the stars, making them sprinkle. Buneary gave Angel Double Kick and she gave Buneary Iron Tail. Pikachu didn't like how this was going.
"Now, I know how Sora feels." - Pikachu subtitle.
Angel and Buneary kept on fighting over Pikachu. Buneary lets out one powerful Ice Beam. Angel ducks out of the way as Chimchar and Scorbunny dodged as Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Meowth, and the other Pokémon all ended up being frozen. Buneary grabs Pikachu and starts boucing into a twirl. Angel chases after them. Chimchar and Scorbunny looked at their frozen friends and nod in agreement to let them out. Scorbunny used Blaze Kick as Chimchar used Flame Wheel to melt the ice.
"Brr, that's cold," Ventus said.
"I can't feel my tail," Meowth said, shinvering. Sora noticed Pikachu was gone as Kairi noticed Angel was gone as well.
"Where did Pikachu go?" Sora asked.
"And Angel too?" Kairi said.
"Chimchar, Chim!" Chimchar said, pointing down the way they went. Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, and Aqua looked in the path the three Pokémon went.
"Down that way? Great," Sora deadpanned.
"We should go after them before something happens," Kairi said.
Sora, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, and Meowth agreed. Scorbunny and Chimchar went on ahead before Sora and Kairi called back the other Pokémon. Scorbunny and Chimchar followed the footprints left behind by the female Eevee.
"These are pretty fresh. We must be getting close." - Chimchar subtitle.
"I just hope it's not too late." - Scorbunny subtitle.
Buneary kept on spinning Pikachu in her hold. He wasn't the least bit happy to be dragged against his will.
"Alone at last." - Buneary subtitle. Pikachu broke out of her grip.
"Hey! What did you do that for?!" - Pikachu subtitle. Buneary looked at Pikachu quite shocked by how mad he looked. "You pick a fight withg y girlfriend for apparent reason and then you kidnap me against my will! What is with you?!" - Pikachu subtitle. Buneary was surprised to hear he was already spoken for. Buneary wasn't going to give up that easily.
"That's no problem, you could just break up with her and then we can have a relationship right now. I'll be very good to you." - Buneary subtitle. Pikachu just glared angrily at her.
"Just break up with my girlfriend? Are you kidding? That'll be just the worse thing anyone could ever make me do! I mean how would you like it if someone just made you break up with your significant other just because he told you to? I doubt you'd like that very much! I won't do that to Angel, because what she and I have is something special! And I will not, I repeat, will NOT throw it all away after what we went through together!" - Pikachu subtitle. Buneary then started to cry, much to Pikachu's surprise. He knew he might have overdone it. He was pretty mad, but he knew it was no excuse for making Buneary cry like that.
"I'm sorry. It's just I saw you and I was impressed by the way you caught that apple, I had no idea you were seeing someone else, and you were right, I had no right to do that. It would be very terrible of me to do that." - Buneary subtitle. Pikachu tried to calm her down as Angel finally caught up.
"Found you!" - Angel subtitle. He lands a Quick Attack onto Buneary. "That was for trying to steal him away!" - Angel subtitle. Buneary gets back up.
"Okay, that's it, sister! Here's a Double Kick in your head!" - Buneary subtitle. Buneary went to land a Double Kick onto Angel, but she dodges and uses Swift on her. Buneary got struck hard. Pikachu tried to stop the fight.
"Angel wait! Stop! You don't understand!" - Pikachu subtitle. Angel prepared to use Iron Tail on Buneary as Buneary prepared a Dizzy Punch. Pikachu got between them and both landed a hit onto Pikachu. Angel was devastated by the mistake she made. "Mama, can I wear the jammies with the footies?" - Pikachu subtitle. Pikachu fell right on his back. Angel nuzzled to get him up.
"Oh! Pikachu! I am so sorry! I never meant to hurt you! Speak to me!" - Angel subtitle. Chimhcar and Scorbunny caught up with them
"What happened here?" - Chimchar subtitle.
"It was an accident. I didn't mean to hurt him!" - Angel subtitle.
"It was my fault! I hurt him worse!" - Buneary subtitle.
"What happened exactly?" - Scorbunny subtitle.
"I explained to Buneary that I'm spoken for and I unintentionally made her cry." - Pikachu subtitle. He gets back on his feet. "I was very mad about what happened and I told her that I'm with someone else, and she started crying." - Pikachu subtitle.
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that. I promise not to do it again. So, I'll be off." - Buneary subtitle. Scorbunny stops her.
"I know how that feels, Buneary. Because I've been there." - Scorbunny subtitle. Buneary turned to the fire rabbit Pokémon. "I had a thing for a lady rabbit named Bianca. I thought she was extremely pretty when I first saw her. She turned me down and told me that her heart belongs to a cheetah named Hunter. "You might as well find out by being Kairi's Pokémon." - Angel subtitle. Buneary was surprsed. Chimchar, Scorbunny, and Pikachu were also surprised. "Trust me. You got Contest written all over you." - Angel subtitle. Buneary thought of it for a moment and she nodded.
"Okay, I'm in." - Buneary subtitle. Angel and Buneary buried the hatchet. They shook paws as Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, and Meowth caught up.
"Guys! Glad you're okay!" Sora said.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu said. He went up to Sora's shoulder. Buneary went up to Sora and bowed her head in forgiveness.
"Buneary," Buneary said.
"Whait a minute. You're sorry?" Meowth asked.
"Bun," Buneary said.
"What happened? One minute you're going gaga and the next you're just throwing in the towel," Meowth said.
"Chumchar, Chim," Chimchar said.
"It's all okay?" Meowth asked.
"Angel, come here," Kairi said. Angel goes right up to her trainer. "You had us worried because you had us worried."
"Vee," Angel apologized.
"Just glad you're okay," Kairi said. Buneary went up to Kairi. "Buneary?" Buneary went to the opposite side, ready to battle. "Wait, you want to battle?"
"Bun," Buneary nodded.
"That's what it sounds like," Meowth said.
"Okay," Kairi said. She turned to Angel. "You in, Angel?"
"Vee," Angel nodded. She got in front of the rabbit Pokémon.
Buneary jumps in the air and comes down with Bounce.
"Dodge with Quick Attack!" Kairi ordered. Angel avoids Buneary's attack. "Now use Headbutt!" Angel lands a Headbutt onto Buneary. "Now, use Iron Tail!" Angel swings her tail to smack the raabbit Pokémon. Buneary avoids Angel's Iron Tail and came at her with a Double Kick.
"Here comes Double Kick!" Terra said.
"Angel! Swift!" Kairi ordered. Angel fires Swift at Buneary and got hit by the stars. "Now, use Quick Attack!" Angel dashed right at Buneary and lands a successful hit onto her. "Swift again!" Angel fires Swift at Buneary, but she blocks with Ice Beam.
"An even match!" Ventus said.
Buneary comes in and attempt to land a hit with Dizzy Punch.
"Look out! Dizzy Punch!" Aqua exclaimed.
"Angel! Dodge and use Headbutt!" Kairi ordered. Angel avoids Buneary's Dizzy Punch and lands a hit with Headbutt. Buneary tumbles backwards and she took out a Pokéball and threw it. Buneary flows inside and it wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Kairi went to the Pokéball containing her latest catch. "I have my own Buneary."
"Eevee, vee!" Angel added.
"You did great, Kairi!" Sora praised his girlfriend. Kairi smiled and she embraced Sora. "Thank you, Sora." Sora gave Kairi a kiss on the lips and she kisses him back.
