Episode 325: Kairi vs Dawn
After dealing with Mars and some of the members of Team Galactic, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, and Meowth pretty much went back to thier regular schedule, but they knew it was only a matter of time before they bump into Team Galactic again. Much to Sora's honesty, he hoped he would see them again, because he would like nothing more to teach them a lesson.
Afterwards, Kairi went with Dawn to purchase a device called a Pokétch, which is all the range in the SInnoh region. Sora, and Lucas both gotten one as well. Sora ended up with a red one as Lucas ended up with a blue one. Dawn and Kairi ended up with a pink one. Riku received a black one. They recieved word from Barry that he ended up with an orange one. Each trainer thought it'll prove useful to know where to look. And they were able to test out the friendship level they had with their Pokémon. Sora, Kairi, and Riku passed with flying flying colors.
In the Pokémon Center, the dinosaur from before stayed hidden and snuck into the Pokémon Center and ate the food being stored there. Porygon was floating through the city as well, seeing the sights of the world.
Over to Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Riku, Naminé, Lucas, Dawn Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Eevee, and Azurill were getting set for the upcoming Pokémon Contest. And there was just one more thing left for the preparations before the Contest.
"You mean, I have to dress up for this one?" Kairi asked.
"Yeah. That's how it's done in the Sinnoh Pokémon Contests. We'll ut have to find one that suits you," Dawn said.
"You should let her help you out with that," Lucas said. With the matter settled, Dawn took Kairi with her to find an outfit for Kairi to wear. After they came back, Kairi went into the room they were sharing to change into it. Sora knocked on the door.
"You decent yet?" Sora asked.
"Just a minute. I'll let you know," Kairi said from the other side.
"Okay," Sora said, waiting. He took a look at his new Pokétch and fiddled with it to see the features on it. He saw his Pokémon team on it as he saw how much friendship level he was at.
"Okay, Sora. I'm ready. You can come in," Kairi said. Sora opened the door and he blushed and his heart started beating extremely fast to what he saw. Kairi is wearing a golden ball gown with a simply designed bodice, wrapped off-the-shoulder sleeves, long yellow opera gloves matching her outfit, a gold wide-hemmed floor-length skirt made of 8 triangular panels and a multiple-layered white petticoat with scalloped edging on the hemline, and yellow high-heeled shoes. She wore a golden tiara with sapphire jewels embedded on the tiara. "So, Sora. How do I look?" Sora was very speechless. He was astounded by how beautiful she looked. Kairi giggled to giddly. "Well?" Sora snapped out of his funk and he regained his voice.
"You look very beautiful," Sora said, still blushing. Kairi smiled as she gave him a deserved hug.
"Thank you," Kairi said. "I wanted you to be the first to see it." She does a little twirl in the dress. Unknown to the couple, the dinosaur watched the scene.
"So, any idea on which ones to use, because you can choose a different Pokémon for each round," Sora said. Kairi understood because she was told by Dawn she could choose use whichever Pokémon in each round. She made a decision.
"I was thinking of using Hattrem or Frosmoth," Kairi said. She took out her Pokémon Box and exchanged Manaphy and Phione for Hattrem and Darumaka.
On the next day, Kairi and Dawn registered for the Pokémon Contest. Dawn is now wearing the dress she had chosen. Her attire is a pink dress with dark pink horizontal and vertical accents, a pink sash, and a necklace with a small red ribbon on it. She also has her hair in a blushed when he saw his crush in that dress.
"So, Lucas, what do you think?" Dawn asked.
"Y-Y-You look very pretty," Lucas admitted. Dawn blushed he complimented her.
"Thanks Lucas," Dawn said.
Lucas was blushing madly and his face turned pretty red. He scratched the back of his head. Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Riku, and Naminé all looked at the capsules Kairi had received.
"Wow, so cool," Ventus said.
"Dawn explained about the Ball Capsules. And about these," Kairi said, showing them the seals that came with the capsules. The seals were shaped like a heart, a star, two lines crossed, a puff of smoke, a bolt of lightning, bubbles, a wisp of fire, party confetti, a flower petal, and music notes. "Dawn said these are seals. We place the Pokéball in one and we place a seal on it." She puts a Pokéball in the Ball Capsule and places a one shaped like a music note on the Pokéball and throws it. "Come on out, Kricketune!" The Pokéball and serveal blue music notes all come out along with the cricket Pokémon as he does a pose.
"So, cool!" Ventus said.
"The seal I just used is called a Song Seal. The other seals are known as Heart, Star, Line, Smoke, Ele, Foamy, Fire, Party, and Flora," Kairi explained.
"Wow, think I could use one, Kairi? Just to check one out," Sora said.
"Sure," Kairi said, taking the blue Song Seal off and took the Pokéball out and Sora places Scorbunny's Pokéball in the Ball Capsule and places a Fire Seal on the Pokéball.
"Come on out, Scorbunny!" Sora called. Scorbunny comes out as flames emerged from inside. Scorbunny felt so cool for a Fire Type Pokémon as he came out of the flames. "Awesome."
"Scorbunny," Scorbunny said.
As the Contest is about to begin, Zoey comes in the room along with the other Coordinators. Zoey wore a white vest with yellow crescents on her right chest and black and gold trimmings at the end of her sleeves, turquoise pants, white shoes.
"Like the dress, Kairi. Looking good," Zoey said.
"Thanks Zoey," Kairi said. Dawn looked back and forth at the two Coordinators.
"You know each other?" Dawn asked.
"Right, you haven't met. This is Zoey. We met her when we got her in Jublife City. She showed us the way to get to the Pokémon Center. Zoey, this is the one we were waiting for, Dawn," Kairi introduced.
"It's nice to meet you, Zoey," Dawn said.
"Likewise, Dawn. I just wanna say may the best Coordinator win," Zoey said.
"Same to you, Zoey," Dawn said.
Up in the audience, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Riku, Naminé Pikachu, Eevee, Azurill, and Lucas sat as the crowd was cheering. A woman resembling Vivian comes on the stage to call the play-by-play. She wore a a yellow dress and a pink headband.
"Hey, isn't that the lady we saw at the Grand Festival?" Ventus asked.
"You mean Vivian? It does look like her," Sora said.
"That's not who you think that is. That would be Marian. I heard about her from Dawn. She hosts the Sinnoh region's Pokémon Contests," Lucas explained.
"Greetings and a warm welcome to Coordinators and Contest fans of all ages! We've all come together for one very special reason, and that's to find out who will take home the coveted and fabulous Jubilife City Contest Ribbon! Now I know you've all been waiting patiently, and now it's time for you to be rewarded!" Marian announced as the stage effects goes off. The crowd starts roaring. "We're coming at you live and on stage from the stadium located in Jublife City, the City of joy!" The crowd roars some some as the dinosaur watches the event on Pallet Town, Kairi's family are glued to the TV as they await for Kairi to win her first Contest in Sinnoh. "So, let's get down to business and find out who gets the Jubilife Ribbon! And a real beauty it is!" Marian holds out a light blue ribbon. "Add to this four additional contest wins, and you're eligible to compete in the prestigious Sinnoh Grand Festival. The winner of the event taking the title of Top Coordinator! It's time for me to introduce our judges, and here they are!" The crowd cheers as Mr. Contesta, Mr. Suziko, and a slender and exotic woman with tan skin, blue eyes, and wild black hair with many yellow hair pins in it. She wore a midriff-baring yellow top with long sleeves and lacy white trim around her neck and cleavage, along with blue skinny jeans and yellow high heels. She also has trimmed, sparkling nails and a golden navel piercing. "Head of the judging committee and Pokémon Contest director, Mr. Contesta!" The crowd starts cheering.
"Thank you! I look forward to seeing some real teamwork between Coordinators and their Pokémon!" Mr. Contesta announced. The crowd roars.
"And now the head of the Pokémon Fan Club, Mr. Suziko!" Marian announced.
"Remarkable is the word. Thanks!" Mr. Suziko said. The crowd cheers on.
"And finally, a special guest judge! A Frontier Brain of the Sinnoh region and head of the Battle Arcade, Arcade Star Dahlia!" Marian announced as the crowd goes wild.
"Thank you all for coming out! I hope every one of you all have a good time today!" Dahlia announced.
"I think we all came here to have a good time, how about you?" Marian asked. "Oh! I forgot about me! I'm Marian, and I'm thrilled to be your master of ceremonies, and thanks so much!" The crowd goes wild. "And now it's time for the first round, where one by one, our Pokémon take their positions on the performance stage! The purpose of this round is to see how our Coordinators make their Pokémon shine, showing off power and beauty!"
"Hard to believe we got a member of the Battle Frontier of Sinnoh as a judge," Sora said.
"Same here," Riku agreed.
"Wonder who is going on first?" Ventus asked.
"We're about to find out, Ven," Terra said.
"And now for contestant number one! It's Zoey!" Marian announced as Zoey makes her appearence on stage. Zoey takes out a Pokéball in the Ball Capsule with a white Smoke Seal.
"Misdreavus! Curtain!" Zoey called out as she threw the Pokéball and white smoke covers Misdreavus as it makes its entrance. "Now, Double Team!" Misdreavus performs Double Team while in the smoke.
"That smokey silhouette really shows the mischeievous elegance of Misdreavus!" Marian announced.
"So mysterious," Naminé said.
"She knows what she's doing," Aqua said.
"It's the perfect showcase," Terra said.
"Yeah, what a better way for a Ghost Type Pokémon than that?" Riku asked.
"Confuse Ray!" Zoey ordered. Misdreavus perfomrs Confuse Ray as the dupicates all come out of the smoke as the original stays put. The crowd were anxious to see what else Zoey had in mind. "Use Shock Wave!" Misdreavus unleashed Showave, creating a lightning show for the crowd. They could also see how powerful Misdreavus is. They all cheered once Zoey had finished.
"It looks like Misdreavus and Zoey are joined at the hip! Electrifying!" Marian announced.
"Showing off her Pokémon in sihouette like that helped make a great performance!" Contesta said.
"And remarkable!" Mr. Suziko added.
"That was an awesome balance between showing off her Misdreavus and its moves! First rate, all the way!" Dahli said.
"And there you have it! Dahli said it was awesome and first rate! Next up!" Marian annoucned. A Rapidash gallops on stage as a Beautifly sparkles with Morning Sun. A Scyther cuts a brook in two. A Buizel does a helicopter trick and flies in the air. A Boddof chomps a log into splinters. "And next up is coming all the way from Pallet Town in the Kanto region! She has a reputation of winning first in the Poké Maiden Tournament in the Johto region and came out on top during the Hoenn Grand Festival, say hi to Kairi!" The crowd cheers as Kairi makes her appearence on stage. Kairi takes out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Time to make your debut, Angel!" Kairi called out as Angel makes her entry on stage as stars all emerge from inside the Pokéball. "Use Swift on those stars!" Angel fires Swift at the stars, making a sparkly performance.
"And Kairi's Eevee makes an outstanding entrance with a dazzling Swift!" Marian announced.
"Quick Attack all through the splarkles and then, Iron Tail!" Kairi ordered. Angel runs across the stage as the sparkles are still in the air with her speed attack. Angel then swirls around with her Iron Tail. It made it look like she was dancing with her Iron Tail as the sparkles had disamated.
"And Eevee concludes with an Iron Tail spin!" Marian announced.
"A creative way for Eevee to use Quick Attack and Iron Tail!" Contesta said.
"Besides, remarkable!" Suziko added.
"It is an awesome combo of cuteness and awesomeness on so many levels. And it was so elegant. The combo of Swift and those stars from Eevee's entrance just helped make it even better," Dahlia said. THe crowd went wild for Kairi's performance, but no more than Sora and Pikachu. Kairi waved to the audince.
"Way to go, Kairi!" Sora yelled.
"Pika, Pika!" Pikachu added.
"Shouldn't Dawn be up next?" Lucas asked.
"She should be," Aqua said.
"And now, we have a debut! A young Corrdinator who hails from Twinleaf Town! So let's give her a warm welcome: Dawn!" Marian annoucned. Dawn makes her debut on the stage as she was pretty nervous.
"Showtime," Dawn said. She took out her Pokéball with the Foamy seal. "Okay Piplup! Spotlight!" Her Pokéball opens as bubbles emerges from the Pokéball and Piplup happily comes out. "Use Bubble Beam!" Piplup fires Bubble Beam, taking the other bubbles in the air and they swirl around. "Now, use Peck!" Piplup builds up energy with Peck.
"And Piplup's storing up some serious energy in that beak!" Marian announced.
"Now, Piplup! Let's go!" Dawn announced. Piplup jumped in the air and rapidly started pecking at the bubbles.
"Now, that's fast! I can hardly see it happening! But I can see enough to know it's beautiful!" Marian announced. Dawn did well on her first time in a contest. Dawn bows her head as the crowd starts roaring.
"A truly impressive performance! The combination of speed and cuteness kept me riveted!" Mr. Contesta said.
"Remarkable!" Mr. Suziko said.
"I wwas at awe at Piplup's talent! I couldn't take my eyes off of them!" Dahlia said.
Back in Twinleaf Town, Johanna was impressed by her daughter's display.
"Not bad, but still a little stiff," Johanna said. Glameow aggred with her trainer.
Back stage, Dawn went back with the other Coordinators and Kairi beamed at Dawn's debut performance.
"That was wonderful, Dawn," Kairi said.
"Thank you, Kairi. My heart was beating like a giant bass drum up there. Glad it all went so quick," Dawn said.
"You should be feeling pretty good right about now," Kairi said.
"I guess I should be, but I'm just relieved that it's finally over," Dawn said. Zoey walked up to the two girls.
"It's too soon to be relieved, isn't it?" Zoey asked. "We;ve still gotta meet in the finals, right?"
"She's right, Dawn. After that display, you should make it in," Kairi said.
"Yeah, same to you," Dawn said.
"And now it's time for the judges' results! So here are the Coordinators who will be moving on down the line to the next round!" Marian announced as everyone was anxiously waiting to see who will be moving on and who will not. In the audience, Sora and Pikachu were anxious to see if Kairi will be moving on. Lucas was also anxious to see. "All right, llet's see what the judges have to say! The eight contestants moving on to the next round's Contest Battle are..." The computer shows the eight finalists. Kairi, Dawn, and Zoey are among the final eight, "These lucky eight!" The crowd cheers as they made it.
"Alright! I made it!" Dawn said.
"Nothing like getting pass that first step!" Kairi said.
"What a relief," Dawn said.
"Congrats," Zoey said.
"Thanks Zoey. But you made it all look easy," Dawn said. "The same with you, Kairi. I can see why you won the Hoenn Grand Festival."
"I don't know about that, Dawn," Kairi said. "But you gotta remember that it's a whole new ball game. If we end up battling each other, I'm not pulling my punches with you." Dawn understood.
"I wouldn't have it any other way," Dawn said, They shook hands, promising each other a good battle if they do end up against each other.
"Okay, ladies and gentlemen, time for our second round, and here's the battle board!" Marian announced. "So, let's give the board a random shuffle and see our matchups." The matchups pits Kairi against Zoey in the first battle as Dawn is in the fourth round.
"Wow! Kairi! You're in the first round!" Dawn said.
"I wasn't expecting this to happen," Zoey said. She turned to Kairi. "I hope you're ready, Kairi, because I plan to give you my all."
"Right back you, Zoey," Kairi said. They shook hands. "I wish you luck."
"You too, Kairi," Zoey said.
The first round of the finals was about to begin as Kairi and Zoey got into position for their battle. Over to the Pokémon Center, the dinosaur was watching the Pokémon Contest and he knew he saw Kairi in the same place.
"Who's going to win?" The dinosaur asked.
"This is it! The moment you've been all waiting for! Get ready for the scond round battles! The Coordinator who can show off their most beautiful moves and strip away the most points from their opponent in five minutes wins! So let's get started with our first matchup! It's Kairi in one corner and Zoey in the other! We've got a five minute time limit on the clock and we're off" Marian announced. The clock started running. Kairi and Zoey both took out a Pokéball in a Ball Capsule. Kairi has hers with a Fire Seal as Zoey has hers in a Party Seal.
"Go! Darumaka!" Kairi called out as the Galarian Darumaka comes out to battle with a fiery entry.
"All right, Glameow! Curtain!" Zoey called out as Glameow comes out with a twirl while surrounded by confetti.
"Darumaka! Powder Snow!" Kairi ordered. Darumaka fires Powder Snow right at the catty Pokémon.
"Dodge and use Iron Tail!" Zoey ordered. Glameow avoids Darumaka's Powder Snow and comes at Darumaka with Iron Tail.
"Darumaka misses with Powder Snow and now Glameow is coming at Darumaka with Iron Tail!" Marian announced. Kairi lost some points.
"Darumaka! Fire Punch!" Kairi ordered. Darumake lets out beautiful Fire Punch and lands a burning hit onto Glameow.
"For an Ice Type Pokémon, Darumaka is making a burning comeback!" Marian announced.
"Follow up with your Ice Punch!" Kairi ordered. Darumaka moved in with an Ice Punch to land a hit onto Glameow.
"Glameow! Fury Swipe!" Zoey ordered. Glameow heads for Darumaka and both land a hit onto one another. Kairi and Zoey both lost some points with that one.
"That was good! Another Ice Punch!" Kairi ordered. Darumaka heads for Glameow to land an icy punch onto Glameow.
"Iron Tail!" Zoey ordered. Glameow swings its tail at Darumaka and they collide. Glameow straightens its tail and lands a hit. Darumaka loses some more points. Glameow's tail becomes frozen solid much to Zoey's surprise. Zoey loses some more points.
"Glameow's tail is now frozen solid thanks to Darumaka's Ice Punch! And now, they're both losing some serious points! We're at the thirty second mark and at this point, this could be anone's match!" Marian announced.
"Glameow! Shadow Claw!" Zoey ordered. Glameow heads for the zen charm Pokémon to land a hit onto her.
"Darumaka! Powder Snow on the ground!" Kairi ordered. Darumaka turns the whole battlefield into an ice floor and Darumaka slides on the ice like a figure skater. "Now, use Fire Punch!" Darumaka slides towards Glameow and lands a heavy blow onto Glameow. The time was up as Zoey has little points remaining.
"What a glorious battle! The winner of the first battle of the second round is Kairi!" Marian announced. The crowd applauds for Kairi as she waved to the audince.
After that, Sora made it to the back to congratulate his girlfriend.
"That was great, Kairi. It gave me the chills," Sora said.
"Glad you enjoyed the show, Sora," Kairi said. She gave a kiss on Sora's cheek. Zoey walked in and she looked right at Kairi. She gave her a real big smile.
"That was an amazing display, Kairi. Your battling skills are outstanding," Zoey said.
"Thanks Zoey. I wasn't really alone out there. Sora was with me in spirit," Kairi said. Zoey looked right at him and smiled.
"I think Kairi is lucky to have a supportive boyfriend like you, Sora. I really mean it," Zoey said.
"Thanks a lot, Zoey," Sora said.
"And I'll behave to tell you, if you weren't in a relationship with her, I'd fall for you. But, I promise I won't come between you," Zoey said. Kairi felt a little jealous about she was glad to know Zoey isn't that kind of person.
After the second battle of the second round, Dawn had her battle and won. Dawn's Buneary had was just as strong as hers. Kairi had her battle and won. Dawn had her second battle and won it, and now it was down to Kairi and Dawn.
"And now, we're down to our remaining two finalists Kairi from Pallet Town and Dawn from Twinleaf Town! This battle will decide on who will be winning this Pokémon Contest! Now, if you're ready, ladies, we're about to begin!" Marian announced. Kairi took out their Pokéballs, containing their chosen Pokémon. The clock starts running.
"Buneary! Spotlight!" Dawn called out.
"Go! Darumaka!" Kairi called out. Buneary came out in a flurry of flower petals. Darumaka came out in her fieriy entry.
"Buneary! Dizzy Punch!" Dawn ordered. Buneary moves in to land a punch onto Darumaka.
"Darumaka! Fire Punch!" Kairi ordered. Darumaka moves in to deliver a burning punch onto the rabbit Pokémon. Both collide with each other and both Coordinators lost the same sum of points.
"Kairi and Dawn starts up with a collision of Fire Punch and Dizzy Punch! A real balance of power!" Marian announced.
"Darumaka! Powder Snow!" Kairi ordered. Darumaka fires Powder Snow right Buneary.
"Dodge it, Buneary!" Dawn ordered. Buneary tries to avoid Powder Snow, but ended up getting hit, costing Dawn some more points. "Buneary! Bounce!" Buneary jumped in the air and started to come right down at Darumaka.
"Dodge and use Ice Punch!" Kairi ordered. Darumaka avoids Buneary and gave the rabbit Pokémon a punch in the face, causing Dawn to lose some more points.
"Dawn's not doing so good!" Marian announced.
"Buneary! Focus Punch!" Dawn ordered. Buneary started to move in with a Focus Punch to land on the Galarian Darumaka.
"Buneary's moving on in with a Focus Punch! How will Kairi respond before she hits?" Marian announced.
"Darumaka! Headbutt!" Kairi ordered. Darumaka lands a Headbutt onto Buneary, making Buneary lose its focus.
"And Buneary loses focus with Focus Punch by countering it with a Headbutt!" Marian announced.
"Powder Snow!" Kairi ordered. Darumaka sends out Powder Snow and the audience are captivated by how beautiful it looked. Buneary gets hit hard. "Fire Punch and Ice Punch!" Darumaka's fist started to emit fire and ice on opposite sides. The Galarian zen charm Pokémon heads towards Buneary as Darumaka lands a combo hit of fire and ice.
"Darumaka makes good use of both of Fire Punch and Ice Punch, making a unique combination!" Marian announced.
"Normally, fire and ice don't go together, but she managed to pull off an awesome and beautiful trick!" Dahlia said.
"We're pass the thirty second mark and Kairi still up ahead!" Marian announced.
"Man, she's even better in real life than on the screen," Dawn said amazed. "Buneary! Go!" Buneary heads towards Darumaka and lands a series of hits onto her. Dawn lost a huge sum of points.
"Now Dawn is making a comeback onto Darumaka! Could this be Dawn's chance at a Contest Ribbon?" Marian asked. Kairi was losing points from each hit.
"Keep it up!" Dawn said.
"Hang in there!" Kairi said.
"Bounce!" Dawn ordered. Buneary jumps to land a hit onto Darumaka. Kairi had to end it now.
"Powder Snow!" Kairi ordered. Darumaka fires a powerful, yet beautiful Powder Snow, hitting Buneary. The rabbit Pokémon was down, but not out. By that time, the clock has run out as Kairi had a little more points left than Dawn.
"Time's up! And the winner of the Jubilife City Contest is Kairi! A huge congratulations are in order!" Marian announced.
Back in Twinleaf Town, Johanna was proud of Dawn's accomplishments because she knew her daughter did her best.
"Dawn has done better than I thought. She's still much to learn," Johanna said.
After the Contest, all of the competing Coordinators all gathered as Contesta has presented Kairi her first Contest Ribbon of Sinnoh.
"Let's give a big hand to Kairi as she recieves the prestigious Jubilife City Contest Ribbon! A gorgeous ribbon, and appreciative crowd, and a great champion!" Marian announced.
After the Contest had concluded, Kairi, Dawn, and Zoey dressed back into their regular clothes and they said goodbye to one another. Lucas and Dawn promised to meet Sora and the rest in Oreburgh City for his Gym battle. Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Riku, Naminé, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Eevee, and Azurill all returned to the Pokémon Center and went to have a celebration meal when they hit a snag.
"What? Food is disappearing from your storage?" Sora asked.
"I'm afraid so. I'm not even sure what it is, but I think the security cameras may have caught a glimpse of it," Nurse Joy said, shwoing them the footage of the dinosaur taking the food from the food storage. Pikachu was certain he seen that face before and he was trying to show Sora before he turned it off.
"You think we help catch the food thief?" Sora asked. "It'll go smoother if we work together to catch it, whatever it is."
"I would appreciate it very much. It might be dangrous," Nurse Joy warned.
"We can handle ourselves," Sora reassured. They went into the room they were staying in, unaware of the dinosaur sleeping under the covers. "Okay, let's start making some plans." Sora sat down.
"Ow!" A voice yelped.
"What was that?" Meowth asked.
"Any of you say something?" Sora asked.
Terra, "Not me."
Ventus, "Don't look at me."
Aqua, "It wasn't me."
Naminé, "It wasn't me."
Riku, "I didn't say anything."
Kairi, "Me neither."
"Whoever it was, it sure was loud," Sora said. He noticed the bed being lumpy. "I don't remember the bed being this lumpy." He beats the lumps.
"Ouch! Cut it out!" The voice said. The voice belnged to the dinosaur from before. "Do you mind?!" They all yelped when the dinosaur spoke to them.
"It talks!" Ventus said. Sora wrapped a blanket around it.
"Hey! What do you think you're doing?! Let me go!" The dinosaur exclaimed.
"Gotcha! I gotta be honest, I wasn't expecting this to be easy, did you?" Sora asked.
"Not in the slightest. Just what is it?" Riku asked. The dinosaur was struggling to get loose.
"Lemme go! Lemme go!" The dinosaur demanded from in the blanket. The dinosaur got loose and ran out the room. Sora, Kairi, Riku, Terra, and the Pokémon went after it as Aqua and Naminé stayed behind to look after Ventus. The dinosaur ran across the Pokémon Center as Sora, Riku, and Terra tackles him to the ground. "Let me go!"
"Not a chance you food thief!" Sora said, holding him tight.
"I was hungry! They were just sitting in that room and I had to help myself!" The dinosaur argued.
"It wasn't yours, so that's stealing!" Sora argued back.
"Technically, he's right," Kairi said.
"What do you mean stealing? What's stealing?" The dinosaur asked.
"Stealing is when take something that isn't yours! And when you don't ask permission first!" Sora said. "Why am I even explaining this? We're taking you to Nurse Joy about this!"
"He's right. You're in so much trouble," Terra said.
"Try to take me if you can!" The dinosaur yelled as he broke out of their grip. "Pepper Breath!" The dinosaur sends out a fireball and they duck.
"Pikachu! Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered.
"Eevee! Shadow Ball!" Riku ordered.
Pikachu fires Thunderbolt and Eevee sends out Shadow Ball and both struck the dinosaur on the mark. The dinosaur fell on his stomach. They took the unconscious dinosaur with them and brought him to Nurse Joy. Ventus, Aqua, Naminé, and Azurill joined them when it was safe.
"It doesn't look very hostile," Nurse Joy said.
"Tell us that after it tried to barbecue us!" Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu agreed.
The dinosaur woke up and saw the humans and Pokémon looking at him.
"You got some explaining to do," Sora said.
"Don't hurt me," the dinosaur said. Nurse Joy was surprised to hear him talk.
"We're not going to hurt you," Sora said.
"You did when I tried to get catch me," the dinosaur said.
"For the record, you attacked us," Sora said.
"Yes you did," Kairi agreed.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Only because you wouldn't let me go!" The dinosaur argued.
"You were stealing food!" Sora argued back.
"I was hungry!" The dinosaur yelled.
"Everyone stop! This isn't getting us anywhere! Just what are you?" Meowth asked. "Are you a Pokémon?"
"Pokémon? That's what I keep hearing. Just what are Pokémon?" The dinosaur asked.
"That's a no," Meowth deadpanned.
"If you're not a Pokémon, then what are you?" Ventus asked.
"I'm actually a Digimon. I came from the Digital World. My name is Agumon," Agumon introduced himself.
"Digimon?" The group asked.
"Yeah," Agumon said.
"If you're from a different world, how did you get here into our world?" Sora asked.
"I came here with a friend of mine. We were taken out of the Digital World and came here. There some other creatures in the same place and we fled when they tried to nab us," Agumon explained. Sora figured it was when Team Galactic attacked. But Sora didn't see him.
"Where is your friend now?" Sora asked.
"I don't know. We got seperated," Agumon said.
"Just what does your friend look like?" Kairi asked.
"Pink, and has a beak. Hand has a tail going up," Agumon described. Sora looked up a Pokémon with a beak and found it was a Porygon.
"Does it look like this?" Sora asked, showing him the image of the virtual Pokémon.
"Yeah, that's it," Agumon said.
"Anyway, how about we help you find your friend. Just promise not to take anymore food, okay?" Sora asked.
"Promise," Agumon said.
"Anyway, I'm Sora. And this is Pikachu," Sora introduced.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"I'm Kairi and this is Angel," Kairi introduced.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"I'm Meowth."
"I'm Riku and this is Eevee," Riku introduced.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
"I'm Naminé and this is Azurill," Naminé introduced.
"I'm Ventus, but call me Ven."
"I'm Terra."
"And I'm Aqua."
"Now, come on. Let's find our friend," Sora said, taking Agumon by the claw.
Kairi had won her first Sinnoh Contest Ribbon and now it is Sora's first Sinnoh Gym battle to focus on, but they had to deal with a loose Porygon first. Things are getting more and more interesting as the journey continues.
Okay, I just wanna say the reason I added Agumon and some Digimon in this becuase of Porygon, Porygon2, and Porygon-Z being from the Digital World would make some sense because those three Pokémon came to life from computer data.
