Episode 328: Pokémon Hunter J
After leaving Oreburgh City, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon looked over the place to head towards.
"So, where do we go from here?" Ventus asked Terra looked over in the guidebook and found out on where to go next.
"The guidebook says we should be heading down to Eterna City. To get there, we should head right to Floraroma Town, the city that is said to love flowers. And right through the Eterna Forest. And inside the forest, it are some Pokémon and old chateau that the guidebook says we should avoid at all costs," Terra said.
"Sounds creepy," Meowth said, getting afraid.
"Okay, Floraroma Town is our first stop. In the meantime, we'll have to get some training down," Sora said. Just when they were about to get started, out came a squirrel-like Pokémon. Its fur is white with a faint blueish tint and it has a light blue stripe which originates at its forehead and extends to the tip of its tail. A large white tooth grows out of its mouth, and its eyes are a deep gray. Its cheeks and eyes are similar to that of aPikachu, but yellow instead of red. the Pokémon has a tail almost twice as big as itself, with three spikes around the middle.It gives Agumon a shock on his tail and he gave Meowth a kick.
"Ouch! Why did you do that for?!" Meowth exclaimed.
"You shocked me!" Agumon accused.
"You're crazy! I didn't do that! It was probably Pikachu who did that," Meowth said.
"Pikachu's with Sora," Agumon said, pointing to Pikachu. The squirrel-like Pokémon gave Meowth a shock and he yelped.
"Hey! Who's doing that?" Meowth turned to see the Pokémon and ran around. "Hey!" Everyone sees the squirrel-like Pokémon running about, giving off blue sparks.
"What is that thing?!" Biyomon asked. Sora took out his Pokédex and he used it to scan the Pokémon.
Pachirisu, the EleSquirrel Pokémon
Type: Electric
It makes fur balls that crackle with static electricity. It stores them with berries in tree holes. A pair may be seen rubbing their cheek pouches together in an effort to share stored electricity.
"A Pachirisu?" Sora asked.
"And a hyperactive one to be exact," Terra said. Pachirisu goes crazy, giving off sparks, making everyone duck. Kairi took out a Pokéball to capture the hyperactive Pachirisu and maybe calm it down.
"Go! Frosmoth!" Kairi called out as Frosmoth came right out. Frosmoth flaps her wings upon entry. "Frosmoth! Icy Wind!" Frosmoth flaps as a cold wind comes at Pachirisu and gets hit by the cold wind. "Now use Bug Buzz!" Frosmoth flapped her wings as a sound wave and it struck Pachirisu hard. Kairi took out a Pokéball and threw it. Pachirisu flows inside as the Pokéball wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Kairi's Pokémon Box activates and it asks her is she wants to keep Pachirisu with her. She chose to keep Pachirisu with her in exchange for Darumaka. "There. That takes care of that."
"It sure does," Aqua agreed.
"What was that Pokémon's problem?" Biyomon asked.
"That Pokémon was even more hyper than a Monmon eating too much candy," Gabumon commented.
"Pokémon are like people. Many of them all have different personalities. That Pachirisu is an example," Terra said.
"We should keep take a break anyway," Kairi said. "We'll have to get to have some lunch ready."
Everyone all agreed as they got set for their meal.
Over in the Digital World, Tentomon, Gomamon, Palmon, Patamon, Gatomon, Veemon, Hawkmon, Armadillomon, and Wormmon all snuck through the Digital World, undetected, for the most part. Several Digimon that resembles Agumon, but made entirely out of black Lego blocks come patrolling through.
"Great. ShadowToyAgumon, this we don't need," Veemon whispered.
"Those guys were sweet ToyAgumon once," Palmon said. A yellow paw grabs each one of them. They were silenced when it belonged to a large yellow Digimon that resembles a teddy bear.
"Monzeamon! What happened?" Wormmon asked.
"They got Toy Town too," Monzaemon said.
"No," Hawkmon said.
"I'm afraid so. I came looking for help," Monzaemon said. Watching them is a bunch of lightblue round Digimon with ear-like appendages, red crescent moon-shaped eyes with black irises and a mouth. They grinned as they left to inform a bunch of Gazimon.
"You find those rogue Digimon yet, Pagumon?" One of the Gazimon asked.
"Yes. Monzaemon was just with them," One of the Pagumon said.
"You sure?" The first Gazimon asked.
"Very sure," the Pagumon all said.
"You better be, because you being turned to stew by Etemon will be a bubble bath compared to what Myotismon will do to you," the first Gazimon said.
"So, what do we do?" The second Gazimon asked.
"You go and tell Etemon what we found. We'll stay here and keep an eye on them," the first Gazimon said. The second Gazimon went off to inform Etemon about the Digimon as he came across a desert area.
"Etemon! Hey Etemon!" The Gazimon shouted. Out from nowhere came a wagon being pulled by a dinosaur Digimon resembling amonoclonoius. Its upper face is covered by black armor that extends into bony frills with red stripes. Its greyish build is armored on the back reaching all the way to the tail. Its nose has a single large horn and has green eyes. The wagon opens to reveal a humanoid Digimon wearing an orange monkey suit with a white tip on his tail. It wears a pair of black sunglasses and has aMonzaemontoy attached to the right side of his waist. He has stitches on the upper left arm and tail and a zipper on the lower right arm.
"A superstar like me deserves an applause, baby! Thank you! Thank you very much!" The monkey Digimon said in an Elvis voice.
"You're the king, Etemon!" The Gazimon said. Etemon bashes the Gazimon on the head.
"Nobody likes a suck-up, you little weasel! Myotismon is breathing down my neck as it is!" Etemon said.
"Sorry," the Gazimon apologized.
"What do ya want? Can't you see I'm busy?" Etemon asked.
"Sir, I came to inform you that some members of the Resistance has been spotted not too far from here!" The Gazimon reported. Etemon grabbed the Gazimon by the head and squeezed hard.
"Why didn't you say so you little dust bunny?!" Etemon exclaimed. "Yah, Monochromon! Full speed ahead!" The Monochromon stars pulling the wagon. The Gazimon gets right on.
Over to Tentomon, Palmon, Gomamon, Patamon, Gatomon, Veemon, Hawkmon, Armadillomon, and Wormmon, they were being led by Monzeamon through the woods. Just then, a ball of green energy came out from nowhere and struck Monzaemon. He dissolves into bits of data, much to the horror of the smaller Digimon.
"Monzaemon! No!" Gatomon cried.
"Attention, Resistance Digimon! You can run, but you can't hide! Try as you may!" Etemon spoke through a microphone.
"Etemon!" Tentomon shrieked in horror.
"There's no telling what he'll do to us if he catches us!" Veemon said. They could hear the footsteps of the red tyrannosaurus Digimon and the Monochromon coming towards them. Just then, three Digimon came out of nowhere. One is a humanoid Digimon magician with long blond hair and blue eyes. He has long teeth, the shape of the feet and the presence of two horns on its head. His armor is orange, with yellow, gray and white inserts, and also covers the upper part of his face like a mask. Another is a humanoid Digimon that is dressed like a wolf, but has lightsabers. And the third is a female fairy Digimon with long purple hair, fair skin, and four green stripes on her face. She wore a pink bra and pink panties, a high-waist pink belt above her navel, and large, pink boots with green soles, purple heels with butterfly wings attached, green borders at the top, yellow and red circles, and white knee pads with four green diagonal marks coming out of it, forming a butterfly image on each knee. She also wore purple armbands under metallic gauntlets with brooches at the wrist that are adorned with a symbol and have butterfly wings attached, silver shoulder pads and a visor with a final pair of butterfly wings attached.
"Lobomon, you deal with the Tyrannomon! Kazemon! You take the Monochromon! I'll draw Etemon's attention!" The leading Digimon said.
"You got it, Agunimon," Lobomon said. Lobomon headed for the Tyrannomon and he readied his weapons. "Lobo Kendo!" Lobomon swipes his lightsabers at them. Kazemon flew right at the Monochromon.
"Hurricane Wave!" Kazemon shouted as tornadoes formed from her fingers and knocked the Monochromon back. Agunimon headed right for Etemon and he launched his attack.
"Pyro Darts!" Agunimon shouted, throwing several tiny fireballs at Etemon. Etemon jumps to deliever a kick to Agunimon.
"Monkey Kick!" Etemon shouted, landing a kick onto him, but he blocks it. Agunimon starts spinning around.
"Pyro Tornado!" Agunimon shouted as flames engulfed Etemon. He fell backwards as he glared at the monkey Digimon. "Had enough, Etemon?" Etemon got up and growled.
"Not on your life, chump!" Etemon hissed.
"Who are you calling chump, chimp?" Agunimon countered. Etemon forms a ball of dark energy.
"Dark Network!" Etemon shouted as he threw it. Agumon countered.
"Pyro Darts!" Agunimon shouted, countering Etemon's attack. It causes an explosion.
Over to Tentomon, Palmon, Gomamon, Patamon, Gatomon, Veemon, Hawkmon, Armadillomon, and Wormmon, they continued to run as a small doorway opens and the Digimon go right through. Two identical Digimon watched as they vanished. Both have large ears. One is white and has green markings and one horn while the other is brown and has purple markings and three horns.
"Where did they go?" The white Digimon asked.
"I don't know. We better let Leomon know about this," the brown Digimon said.
The Digimon all ended up in the Sinnoh region as they were all unfamiliar with their surroundings.
"Where are we?" Veemon asked.
"I don't know, but at least Myotismon won't get us here," Hawkmon said.
"Let's get a move on before something else happens," Wormmon suggested.
"Not a bad idea because," Tentomon said. Unknown to them, a Pokémon is watching them. It is small, blue, bipedal dragon-like Pokémon. It lacks a neck but has a large mouth, filled with sharp teeth. It has two horns on its head striped blue in the middle, and a large dorsal fin. It has a red underbelly and a small tail on its back. This is a Pokémon known as a Gible. It starts to follow them.
Meanwhile, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon were continuing down to Floraoma Town as Officer Jenny came riding on a motor cycle.
"Something wrong, Officer Jenny?" Sora asked.
"Excuse me," Officer Jenny said, taking out a wanted poser of a woman with silverish-white hair and a black overcoat. She wore a pair of visers and has a device on her right arm. "Have any of you seen this woman?"
"No, why?" Sora asked.
"She's a Pokémon hunter who calls herself J. Her real identity is unknown. I recieved a tip, stating that she's here in this area," Officer Jenny said.
"A Pokémon Hunter?" Sora asked in shock.
"Yes. She uses a device to capture Pokémon and turn them into gold statutes. I suggest that you keep all your Pokémon contained in their Pokéballs because any one of your Pokémon could be money opportunities for her," Officer Jenny said.
"We can handle ourselves, Officer Jenny. And thanks for the warning," Sora said.
"Just doing my duty. Once again, keep a close watch on your Pokémon," Officer Jenny said, taking off.
"Can't believe we have to deal with a Pokémon Hunter. This we don't need," Sora said.
"What's a Pokémon Hunter?" Biyomon asked.
"A Pokémon Hunter is a poacher. They make money just by selling Pokémon to the highest bidder. They're very bad people," Kairi explained.
"As long as we don't run into her, we'll be okay," Aqua said.
But they spoke too soon when a Salamence flies over them. They spot w woman riding on the back of Salamence. The Salamence makes a landing.
"Well, what do we have here? A Pikachu, an Eevee, a Meowth, and possibly new species of Pokémon," the woman said.
"Digimon, not Pokémon," Meowth corrected. The woman was astounded in hearing Meowth talk.
"A Meowth that can talk like a person? I could sell you to the highest bidder," The woman said.
"Well, people would tell me that I'm adorable, but I don't know abou-" Meowth paused when he realized what she said. "WAIT A MINUTE! DID YOU SAY SELL ME?!" Meowth exclaimed.
"So, you're Pokémon Hunter J," Sora said.
"That I am. Now, be very cooperative and have over that Meowth and those other three," J said, pointing her weapon at Meowth.
"You're not taking us anywhere! Pepper Breath!" Agumon shouted as he fired his fireball at her.
"Blue Blaster!" Gabumon fired a stream of blue fire.
"Spiral Twister!" Biyomon shouted, sending out ethereal fire, turning green, maroon, and turquoise. J avoids their attacks and aims right at Meowth.
"Got you now, talking Meowth!" J said. Meowth started to run for it. J took a Pokéball and tosses it. "Ariados! Go!" Ariados comes right on out. "String them up!" Ariados fires String Shot right on Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, and Angel. "Salamence! Hyper Beam!" Salamalence prepared to fire Hyper Beam right at the Digimon, but something unexpected happened. A blue figure came falling from the sky.
"Vee Headbutt!" A new voice shouted and lands a heavy blow onto Salamence's back. This catches J's attention. The figure is revealed to be Veemon jumping into action.
"Where did you come from?" J asked.
"That's for me to know!" Veemon said.
"Now, hold still. It'll be over soon," J said, aiming her cannon at Veemon when six vines came right from nowhere and straps her arm.
"Poison Ivy!" Another voice strapped the Pokémon Hunter's arm. She growled with anger.
"Why you!" J hissed.
"Diamond Shell!" Another voice called out as a yellow ball rolls right onto Ariados. Hawkmon came flying in and places his wings on his feather.
"Feather Strike!" Hawkmon shouted as he hurls it right at the web and cuts them loose. The rest of the Digimon came rushing to the scene. J growled in anger. She took out a Pokéball and tosses it. "Drapion! Go!" The Pokéball unleashed a a large, purple, scorpion-likePokémon. Its eyes are a pointed shape, with blue-colored upper portions. It has two small, pointed protrusions between its eyes, and one on the back of its head. The Pokémon also has protrusions on its jaws, two on the upper and three on the lower, with large, fang-like, white-colored features extending from its mouth. Its body is composed of many violet-to-lavender body segments which ends with a tail with two stingers. It also has large claws. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned the Pokémon.
Drapion, the Ogre Scorpion Pokémon
The evolved form of Skorupi
Type: Poison/Dark
It has the power in its clawed arms to make scrap of a car. The tips of its claws release poison. Its body is encased in a sturdy shell. Its head rotates 180 degrees, eliminating blind spots.
"Cross Poison!" J ordered. Drapion crosses its arms above its head and its hands and pincers start to glow purple. Drapion then slashes the opponent in an 'X' formation, or Drapion crosses its arms in front of its face and its claws start to glow purple. A purple 'X' then appears in front of its crossed arms and it opens its hands, firing the 'X' at the Digimon. They all dodge the attack quickly. Gatomon heads right towards the ogre scorpion Pokémon with her paws ready to strike.
"Lightning Paw!" Gatomon shouted as she gave Drapion a punch in the face. Patamon came from behind as took in some air.
"Boom Bubble!" Patamon shouted and hurls it right at Drapion. The ogre scorpion Pokémon got hit on the back.
Gomamon, "Marching Fishes!"
Tentomon, "Super Shocker!"
Wormmon, "Silk Thread!"
Gomamon sends out a barrage of fish as Tentomon sends out a stream of light red lightning and Wormmon sends out a silk needle. They all struck Drapion hard. Sora stepped in.
"Pikachu! Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered.
"Angel! Swift!" Kairi ordered.
Pikachu and Angel sends out Thunderbolt and Swift and they both struck Drapion on the spot.
"You want Meowth, you'll have to go through all of us," Sora said.
"I plan to. Salamence! Dragon Claw!" J ordered. Salamence moved in to deliever a Dragon Claw when an Arcanine charged in with a Flare Blitz and made contact with Salamence. J turned to see it was Officer Jenny who had come to the scene.
"Hunter J, you are under arrest for Pokémon theft!" Officer Jenny declared.
"Not if I have anything to say about it," J said definitely. A bunch of her flunkies came to the scene and they had a bunch of Golbat and Crobat with them.
"Get rid of her," J ordered.
"Sir!" The henchmen said. Just then, Agumon jumped in front of them and fired his attack again and again.
"Pepper Breath!" Agumon fired a barrage of Pepper Breath and struck the bat Pokémon. The rest of the Digimon did the same thing. Meowth was running for it as J attempts to capture him.
"You're not getting away from me that easily, talking Meowth," J said.
"You'll never take me alive," Meowth said.
"Vee Headbutt!" Veemon shouted, landing a hit onto J. She glared angrily at the blue dragon-like Digimon. "You little pest! You're even more trouble than you're worth!"
"I don't know what your beef is, but you won't be getting this cat or me," Veemon said.
Over to Agumon, the bat Pokémon were all ganging up on Agumon.
"Use Air Cutter!" One of the henchmen ordered. They all struck Agumon on the mark. He just kept taking hits as his body started glowing. "What the hell is going on?!" Everyone were all seeing Agumon glowing and he was transforming.
"Agumon Digivolve to-" Agumon transformed into a large orange dinosaur-like Digimon with blue markings on his body and has a brown shell on his head with a horn on his snout and two horns on the opposite side of his head, "Greymon!" The henchmen were standing before the large dinosaur Digimon as he roars at them.
"Agumon?" Sora asked.
"He's Greymon now," Gabumon said.
The bat Pokémon all launched their attacks on Greymon, but he smacks them all with his tail.
"You think that's going to hurt me?" Greymon asked as he stomped forward. The henchmen were frightened of the large dinosaur Digimon. Pikachu and Wormmon came in front of the henchmen.
"Pikachu! Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered. Pikachu fires Thunderbolt and shocks them all.
"Sticky Net!" Wormmon shouted as he fires a sticky thread onto them, entrapping them. Salamence, Ariados, and Drapion left to find J. Greymon stomped forward as Officer Jenny approached them.
"You men are under arrest," Officer Jenny said.
Over to J and Veemon, the two of them fight it out as J fires at Veemon, but he was too quick for her.
"You won't be able to out run forever," J said.
"If you wanna call it quits, I won't blame you since you're a coward," Veemon taunted. She growled.
"Don't you dare call me a coward," J hissed. Drapion comes forward and grabs Veemon by the torso and slams him to the ground. "Finish it off." Drapion was about to when Veemon gave the same kind of glow as Agumon. Veemon started to transform.
"Veemon Digivolve to-" Veemon transformed into a bipedal reptilian Digimon with red eyes and covered mostly in blue scales. He has five fingers on each hand, and three toes on each foot. He also has white patches on arms, mouth, and belly, except for blue "V"-shaped fur on his chest. He also has one horn above his nose, and two horns on the back of his head, the later which form a "V"-shaped angle. He also has small "X"-shaped scars—one on his left thigh, and another on the right side of his mouth. He also a linear scar on each eyelid and his left leg. "Veedramon!" J was was caught by surprise by Veemon's sudden transformation. "What's the matter? Am I too big for you to push around?"
"Kill it!" J ordered her Pokémon. Drapion, Ariados, and Salamence all move in to deliever a blow onto Veedramon, but he grabs Ariados and gave the spider Pokémon a toss. Drapion comes at Veedramon with a Cross Poison, but Veedramon wasn't going to take that laying down, so he pulled his fist back.
"Hammer Punch!" Veedramon shouted, giving Drapion a punch on the gut. Salamence fires Hyper Beam and Veedramon runs to avoid it, but got caught in the blast. Veedramon wasn't going down that easily. "V-Nova Blast!" Veedramon fires an arrow of blue-white heat in the shape of a 'V'. The attack struck Salamence and it came crashing down. J was angered as Veedramon grabbed her by her cannon arm and crushing it and her arm in the process. She screams in pain as she felt her bones shatter. Sora, Kairi, Terra, Aqua, and Officer Jenny all saw J, being held by Veedramon. And her Pokémon were beaten. Offer Jenny came to the evil Pokémon hunter.
"Hunter J, you're under arrest," Officer Jenny said.
She placed J and her henchmen in the back of a police van as Agumon and Veemon all reverted back to their previous forms much to everyone's surprise.
"Thank you very much for your assistance, kids. I wouldn't have caught her if you haven't crossed paths with her," Officer Jenny said.
"We were just happy to help," Sora said.
"What will happen to her now?" Kairi asked.
"She's going to stand trail for all her crimes. Also, we're going to see if we can track down the list of her clients, and see to it that all the Pokémon she stole for them are returned to their rightful trainers," Officer Jenny said.
"That's good to know, because she deserves to be thrown in prison for the rest of her undeserving after what she's done," Aqua said.
"I promise you, I will personally see to it that she does," Officer Jenny said.
"Just how did you find so fast after we just saw you?" Kairi asked.
"I just heard a commotion going on, so I came here to investigate and found all of you. I had to come in, but I wasn't expecting any of this," Officer Jenny said.
"It's a good thing you did show up, Officer Jenny," Terra said.
"Now, I'll be off to take these criminals down to the station to have them processed," Officer Jenny said, taking off with her prisoners. J was filled with hateful rage for what happened. She took a look outside and glared very hatefully.
"You're all going to pay for this," J hissed.
Once Hunter J was taken care off, all the Digimon were happy to see each other again.
"We're so happy to see you," Agumon said.
"We thought something bad happened, so we were looking for you," Palmon said
"Right back at you," Gabumon said.
"Sora, Kairi, Ven, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, we want you to meet our friends from the Digital World. Tentomon, Palmon, Gomamon, Veemon, Wormmon, Hawkmon, and Armadillomon," Agumon introduced. "Guys meet Sora, Kairi, Ven, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, and Meowth."
"It's nice to meet you guys," Sora said.
"Right back at you, Sora," Veemon said.
"Just what did you do back there? How did you evolve and then shrink back down?" Sora asked.
"You mean like we Digivolve?" Agumon asked.
"Digivolve?" Kairi asked.
"You mean Digimon can evolve like Pokémon can?" Ventus asked.
"Something like that, Ven," Agumon said.
"But sometimes we can go revert back to our old selves after we use up energy. Agumon digivolved into Greymon and Veemon became Veedramon," Gatomon explained.
"It would been cool if you stayed that way," Ventus said.
"Even superheroes need a break, Ven," Terra said.
"Anyway, thanks for helping us like that. If you'd like, you guys join us," Sora said.
"You mean it?" Patamon asked.
"Sure thing," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu agreed.
"I'm already getting used to you guys hanging around," Meowth said.
With that said, the Digimon were joining their new friends on their journey. Just when they were about to take off, the Gible from before had caught up to them.
"Hey, a Pokémon!" Ventus exclaimed happily.
"What's that thing?" Veemon asked.
"One way to find out," Sora said, taking out his Pokédex and scanned the Pokémon.
Gible, the Land Shark Pokémon
Type: Dragon/Ground
It nests in small, horizontal holes in cave walls. It pounces to catch prey that stray too close. It once lived in the tropics. To avoid the cold, it lives in caves warmed by geothermal heat.
"A Gible. A Dragon Type and a Ground Type," Sora said.
"Gible, Gible, Gible," Gible said.
"What's Gible saying?" Ventus asked.
"Gible is saying that he found them," Meowth said.
"Were you following us?" Tentomon asked.
"Gib," Gible said.
"I think he just wanted to be friends," Kairi guessed. Meowth went up to the land shark Pokémon.
"Is that it, buddy?" Meowth asked as Gible gave Meowth a bite on his tail. "OUCH! MY TAIL! GET HIM OFF, GET HIM OFF, GET HIM OFF!" Meowth ran around, trying to get Gible off. Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Porygon!" Sora called out as Porygon came out. "Psybeam on Gible!" Porygon fires Psybeam and struck Gible, making him let go. "Now use Tackle!" Porygon lands a Tackle onto Gible. Gible fires Dragon Breath right at Porygon, landing a hit. "Conversion!" Porygon transform a Dragon Type. "Now use Psybeam!" Porygon lands a Tackle into Gible.
"Why did Sora tell Porygon to use Conversion? Dragon Types are weak against its own typing," Aqua said.
"They are?" Palmon asked. Gible moved in to deliever a bite onto Porygon.
"Sharpen and use Tackle!" Sora ordered. Porygon sharpeds its edges and charges right towards Gible and lands a hit. Gible lays on the ground as Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it. Gible flows inside and wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box activates and it asks him if he wants to keep Gible with him. He chose to send Gible to Professor Oak's lab. "Welcome to the team, Gible."
