Episode 329: Oh, Do You Know The Poffin Plan?
Several days had passed since they dealt with Hunter J, met the rest of the Digimon and Sora catching a Gible, they continued their way to Floraroma Town. So in the meantime, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon traveled right to Floraroma Town and shared some stories, about their adventures, from their first meeting to their inter dimensional adventures.
"Hard to believe something like that happened," Agumon said.
"We're really used to these sort of things happening to us," Sora said.
"I find it hard to believe that Meowth used to be with the bad guys," Veemon said.
"And they used to try to take Pikachu just like that J person tried to take Meowth. How is that not annoying?" Armadillomon asked.
"Thank you! That's what I thought," Sora said. Meowth was not amused by the memories of being foiled by Sora, Kairi, and the Alolan nine in the old days.
"Well, I'm a reformed Pokémon. In the anime, I'm still a bad guy. But I wouldn't want to be between Greymon's toes if I ever met him in a crossover anime," Meowth said, breaking the fourth wall.
As they continued in the road, they're approached by a couple of girls wearing red t-shirts.
"Say, aren't you two heading for Floraroma Town?" One of the girls asked.
"Yes we are. Why?" Sora asked.
"Well because that's where a Pokémon Contest is going to be held. We thought maybe you would be entering that," the other girl said.
"A Pokémon Contest in Floraroma Town? It's a good thing we're heading there then," Kairi said. The other Digimon were lost on the whole Pokémon Contest, but Agumon explained the whole thing to them.
"That gives me more time to get ready for my next Gym battle," Sora said.
"Say, how about you have a tag battle with us. The Contest is a week away," the first girl said.
"And you said you can use more time to get ready for your next Gym battle," the second girl said.
"You're right. A tag battle would be good practice," Sora said.
"Sure would," Kairi said.
"Before we start, I just wanna introduce myself. My name is Amanda and this is my little sister Angelica," Amanda introduced.
"Hello," Angelica said.
"I'm Sora and this my girlfriend Kairi," Sora introduced.
"Nice to meet you. Now, should we get started," Amanda said. Both the couple and the sisters got ready for the battle.
"What's going on?" Agumon asked.
"Sora and Kairi were challenged into a tag battle. How it works is both trainers battle each other is a team of two. Both trainers are allowed to use one Pokémon each. The battle is over when either Pokémon are unable to battle," Ventus explained.
"Okay, how about we choose our Pokémon," Angelica said.
"You two may have the first choice," Amanda said.
"Okay," Sora said, turning to Pikachu. "You go right in, Pikachu!"
"Pikachu!" Pikachu said.
"You too, Angel!" Kairi said.
"Eevee!" Angel said, standing with Pikachu.
"Okay, now we have the two to deal with the likes of them," Amanda said, taking out a Pokéball. "Go! Cherrim!"
"I choose you, Cherubi!" Angelica called out as they threw their Pokéballs.
Out the Pokéballs are two new Pokémon. One is a small, pink Pokémonthat resembles a cherry. It has a smaller berry attached to it, that helps it grow. The Pokémon's body has a single dark line running over the middle of its head and two, stubby pointed legs. The smaller cherry's eyes appear closed. The other the one is a small Pokémon that appears to be a little larger than the first one. It has its body is closed in two purple stem and a green leafy sepal sprout from the top of the petals. Its eyes appear to be near its short legs. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned them both.
Cherubi, the Cherry Pokémon
Type: Grass
The small ball holds the nutrients needed for evolution. Apparently, it is very sweet and tasty. Sunlight colors it red. When the small ball is drained of nutrients, it shrivels to herald evolution.

The evolved form of Cherubi
Type: Grass
It blooms during times of strong sunlight. It tries to make up for everything it endured as a bud. It is docile as a bud, but turns cheerful when it blooms. It folds back into a bud if sunlight wanes.
"Two Pokémon of the same evolutionary line. Pikachu's electricity won't do much damage," Sora said.
"Let's make this interesting! Cherrim! Use Sunny Day!" Amanda ordered. Cherrim gave a loud cry as the sunlight became so much brighter. Cherrim transformed Its appearance it has gained pink petals similar to cherry blossoms surround its head and cover its chest. Several of the petals radiate outward from a yellow sphere on the back of its head. There is a small, triangular patch of green on its neck. Additionally, two berry-like orbs, resembling cherry-shaped hair ornaments, adorn its head. It has stubby limbs, with the arms being pink and the legs being yellow.
"Did it just evolve?" Ventus asked.
"No, Ven. What we're seeing Cherrim in its Sunshine Form. What we first saw is Cherrim in its Overcast Form," Aqua said.
"Cherrim! Use Magical Leaf!" Amanda ordered.
"Cherubi! You use Magical Leaf too!" Angelica ordered.
Both Cherubi and Cherrim fire Magical Leaf right at their opponents.
"Angel! Block with your Swift!" Kairi ordered. Angel fires Swift right at the leaves to block the combo attack.
"Pikachu! Use Thunderbolt to help!" Sora ordered. Pikachu fires Thunderbolt and it also blocks Magical Leaf. It resulted in an explosion.
"Quick Attack!" Sora and Kairi ordered. The Pokémon couple rushed to deliever a hit onto the two opposing Pokémon. Angel lands a hit on Cherrim. Pikachu heads to land a hit onto Cherubi, but dodges with incredible speed much to Sora's surprise. "What the?!"
"How did that little one is fast," Tentomon said.
"That's because of Chlorophyll," Terra said.
"What's Chlororphyll?" Palmon asked.
"Chlorophyll is an ability that some Grass Type Pokémon like Cherubi shares. It raises the Pokémon's speed while in sunshine. That would explain that Sunny Day that was just used," Terra said.
"That is amazing," Hawkmon said.
"Cherubi! Use Leafage!" Angelica ordered.
"Cherrim! Use Razor Leaf!" Amanda ordered. Both Cherubi and Cherrim launched their leaves right at their targets.
"Dodge it!" Sora and Kairi called out. The Pokémon couple avoided Leafage and Razor Leaf with their speed. The sisters knew there was one attack they couldn't dodge.
"Magical Leaf!" Amanda and Angelica ordered.
Cherubi and Cherrim fired Magical Leaf and struck them both on the mark.
"That was very good, Cherubi! I'm so proud of you!" Angelica said.
"You too, Cherrim!" Amanda said.
"Magical Leaf again!" Amanda and Angelica ordered. Both Grass Type Pokémon fired their attacks. Sora looked at Kairi, remembering an old move. Kairi nodded as she understood.
"Quick Attack!" Sora and Kairi ordered. Pikachu and Angel ran across the ground as the leaves were following their targets. The sisters were dumbfounded by what they were doing.
"Magical Leaf can't be dodged! What are they up to?!" Amanda exclaimed.
Pikachu and Angel ran right towards Cherubi and Cherrim. Angel headed for Cherrim as Pikachu headed for Cherubi. Both of Cherubi and Cherrim got hit by their own attacks.
"Pikachu! Use Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered.
"Angel! Use Swift!" Kairi ordered.
Pikachu and Angel launched their attacks onto their opponents, striking them both hard. They were both taken down for a double knockout.
"We lost!" The sisters exclaimed.
"Way to go, you two!" Ventus said.
"Wow, they're good," Gomamon said.
"They spent some time training hard. I know because I watched them train," Agumon said. The sisters congratulated the couple in a successful win and continued on to Floraroma Town.
Over in the Digital World, the two Digimon made their report to a muscular lion-man Digimon with orange fur, yellow mane, yellow fur on his legs and the tip of its tail, blue eyes, black nose and mouth, five fingers on his hands and feet, black claws, black ear tips, and scars on its arms, left foot, and the left side of its face. He wore a golden earring on his left ear, a collar with with a blue gem in the middle and multiple red teeth around it, black pants with yellow cords forming multiple "X" on his side, a black belt with a square metallic buckle on its waist, three others on his left arm, another in his left hand, and another in the pantleg. He is carrying his sword in the back on its belt.
"Are you sure of this?" The lion man Digimon asked.
"As sure as we'll ever be," the white Digimon said.
"Ot happened so suddenly. We don't know what to make of it, Leomon," the brown Digimon said.
"If Myotismon's forces learns of this development, he will undoubtedly use this to his gain. I'll have to make contact with Guilmon and let him know of this. Terriormon, Lopmon, I need you to continue to be on patrol and report any activity of Myotismon's minions. Do not draw attention to anyone," Leomon said.
"On it," Terriormon and Lopmon said as they left. Leomon looked up to the sky and hoped for their safety.
Over to Myotismon's castle, Myotismon is in his study as a knock came on the door.
"Come in," Myotismon said. Devimon enters the room.
"My lord. I have received word that Etemon has failed to capture Agumon's section of the Resistance," Devimon reported. Myotismon didn't like this bit of news.
"That useless monkey failed to capture them?" Myotismon questioned angrily.
"Yes, my lord. But I recieved news that their numbers have been dwindling due to their disappearance. It came from the Pagumon in Etemon's unit," Devimon reported.
"Are you certain?" Myotismon asked.
"Affirmative, master," Devimon said.
"It might be a trap set by the Resistance. I cannot be certain. Send the Devidramon over to Etemon's sector and have the area searched. And order them to destroy the Pagumon, just in case they're trading secrets to the Resistance," Myotismon ordered.
"Yes, master. At once," Devimon said, taking his leave. Devimon flew to the pins where a bunch of ghost-like Digimon is standing gaurd. The Digimon has black eyes and jagged teeth. "Bakemon, release the Devidramon." The Bakemon nodded as it awakened several dragon-like Digimon with Devimon's design. They roar upon being awakened. Devimon's eyes glows evil red, connecting to the Devidramon. He mentally instructed them to head to Etemon's section. The Devidramon all took flight to their destination. Unknown to them is a humanoid Digimon wearing brown shoes with crescent moons on the ankles and matching brown gloves, a yellow and red full-body suit with "mouths" that can be opened and closed with zippers and red veston the inside, and a pointed indigo hat with a skull on it. His face is obscured by the collar of its cape and his hat; only his green eyes and blonde hair can be seen. He is carrying an orange wand with an egg-shaped sun on the tip. He was watching Devimon from afar. He noticed an imp-like Digimon walking by. His entire body is purple, save for his white face, green eyes, the yellow smiley face on his stomach and the white claws on his feet. He wore red gloves and a red neckerchief.
"Hey, Wizardmon! What do ya think you're doin'?" The imp-like Digimon asked. "Ba-boom."
"Nothing, just walking by, Impmon. What about you? Shouldn't you be out on patrol as ordered by lord Myotismon?" Wizardmon asked.
"He ain't the boss of me. I mean, while he's not around," Impmon said. Wizardmon knew for certain Impmon if afraid of Myotismon and him alone. He also knew Impmon wouldn't survive a direct fight against him.
"Just be careful when you make a claim like that. There walls have ears," Wizardmon warned the imp-like Digimon. "So, I suggest you get to it if you want them to be deaf."
"Yeah, yeah," Impmon said, taking off. Wizardmon looked around and made sure there was no one around. Wizardmon walked by a humanoid Digimon wearing armor that looked like a black skeleton and blonde hair. There are eyeballs on his chest, shoulders, knees, and feet. He has dragon skulls on his hands and his helmet shaped like a skull with three spikes and three red eyes. The eyes on the right shoulder shifts when Wizardmon walked by him. The dark Digimon was suspicious of Wizardmon.
"Stop," the Digimon said in an evil tone. Wizardmon stopped in his tracks and turned to face him.
"Duskmon. Is something wrong?" Wizardmon asked.
"You have been sneaking around lately. Can you explain your reasons?" Duskmon asked.
"Sneaking? Me?" Wizardmon asked.
"It is useless to play dumb, Wizardmon. It may have fooled Devimon and lord Myotismon, but not me," Duskmon said.
"I honestly don't know what you are talking about. But I doubt lord Myotismon would be forgiving if you wasted his time with baseless suspicions," Wizardmon said. Duskmon knew the wizard-like Digimon was right because he had nothing to support nor confirm.
"Just watch your step," Duskmon said, taking his leave. Wizardmon was relieved to see him leave.
"That was close. For a minute there, I thought he found me out. I will have to be extra careful from now on," Wizardmon said in his thoughts.
Back in the Sinnoh region, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon had finally made it to Floraroma Town after a few days. In the meantime, Kairi had been preparing for the Contest. She decided to go with her Morpeko and then use Pachirisu for the next round. She sent over Frosmoth and Kricketune for Morpeko and Hattrem. Sora sent Porygon and Riolu for Chimchar and Staravia. As they looked around, they could all see how decorative the town was.
"Wow, look at all the pretty flowers!" Biyomon said.
"Very pretty," Palmon added.
"Floraroma Town is called the town of vivid and scented flowers," Terra said.
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
"The smell of these flowers is music to my nostrils. That is if I had a nose," Meowth said.
"How you even smell if you don't even have a nose?" Gomamon asked.
"Don't ask me," Meowth said. "I don't even know how I smell without a nose." Meowth once again broke the fourth wall. Kairi started to drag her boyfriend for the view of the sights as Angel did the same for Pikachu. The Digimon all looked around to the sights and smells of the flowers.
"Hey, look!" Ventus said, poitning to a poster for a Pokémon Contest.
"The upcoming Contest and it's a few days away," Aqua said.
"I can see why Kairi has been preparing for it," Tentomon said.
"Judging by your faces, I would say it's your first visit to Floraroma Town," an elderly woman spoke. They all turned to face her.
"Yes ma'am. We all arrived for the upcoming Pokémon Contest," Kairi said."Also, this place is so beautiful."
"Our trees and flowers are gorgeous. You'd never guess that many years ago, this paradise was once a barren wasteland," the old woman explained. The kids, Pokémon, and Digimon were curious by what she meant. "Everywhere you looked, the land was without beauty and the sad and weary faces of the people of this town reflected the sorry state of affairs we found ourselves in. Many tried to plant flowers and trees, but nothing seemed to want to grow, no matter what. But legend has it that one day, a beautiful woman climbed to the top of the hill to give thanks for nature's great beauty. And with that, it was like the flowers and tree couldn't wait to break through the earth and join forces with the woman to express their thanks as well."
"Such a beautiful story," Kairi said.
"And beautifully told," Aqua added.
"Thank you for sharing," Terra said.
"Thanks so very much," Sora, Kairi, and Ventus all said.
"It is not only my pleasure but my privilege to be able to share a wonderful story with with you young people. I hope you won't forget it, and please have a wonderful stay in our town," the old woman said, taking her leave with a smile on her face. The faces of the kids, Pokémon, and Digimon all had happy expressions as well. Ventus noticed another poster as well.
"Hey, look at that," Ventus said, pointing to the poster.
"What is it?" Patamon asked.
"It says they're going to have a Poffin cooking class today," Ventus said.
"A Poffin cooking class? That sounds like fun," Kairi said.
"What are Poffins?" Armadillomon asked.
"Poffins are a Pokémon snack that's made from tree berries. Like the Oran Berries and Pecha Berries we were picking," Kairi explained.
"That's right. Poffins very common in the Sinnoh region like PokéBlocks are in the Hoenn region," Terra said.
"Poffins are made from different recipes. Also, it's a good way to keep Pokémon pretty healthy and they keep them looking and feeling great. My grandma used to make some Poffins for some Pokémon coming by the house. She's always made them for specific Pokémon like Pidgey, Rattata, and Caterpie," Kairi said.
"Those Poffins sound tasty. I would like to have some of that," Armadillomon said, smacking his lips.
"And I thought caterpillars were bottomless pits," Wormmon said. "But I would like to have some of those Poffins too."
"Me too," Palmon said.
"Me three," Veemon said.
"Don't any of you get carried away because we don't know how a Digimon could react to food made for Pokémon," Meowth said.
"Meowth's right. You sure you wanna give that a try?" Sora asked.
"We had a sample of Kairi's cooking and you didn't ask questions," Hawkmon said.
"He's right. And I'm sure they'll be very yummy," Patamon said as Gatomon purred with agreement.
"Point taken," Sora said.
"Have you ever made Poffins before, Kairi?" Ventus asked.
"No, but I think I can learn how," Kairi said.
"I know they'll turn out tasty," Sora said. "Right Pikachu?"
"Pikachu!" Pikachu said.
"We all should head on over to the location of the class," Terra said.
"Yeah!" Ventus and the Digimon all agreed. They all made their way to the location of the Poffin cooking class which his a house that has a giant garden in the back. A Rosereade and a Lotad are there tending to the flowers. Roserade saw the group and got scared of the new people as Sora was knocking on the door.
"Coming!" A woman's voice spoke. She opened the door and sees a young woman with green hair and amber eyes. She wore a yellowish white shirt, a light brown mini skirt, and brown boots. "Are you here for the Poffin cooking class?"
"Yes we are," Sora said.
"I hope I didn't make you wait for too long. My name is Forsythia," the young woman introduced herself.
"I'm Sora. This is my girlfriend Kairi and my cousin Ventus," Sora introduced/
"Call me Ven," Ventus said.
"Ths Eevee is Angel," Kairi introduced.
"I'm Terra."
"My name's Aqua."
"I'm Agumon."
"Gabumon."
"My name's Biyomon."
"I'm Tentomon."
"My name's Palmon."
"I'm Gomamon."
"I'm Patamon."
"I'm Gatomon."
"My name's Veemon."
"I'm Wormmon."
"My name is Hawkmon."
"And I'm Armadillomon."
"And I'm Meowth."
"Nice to meet you. And I never seen a talking Meowth before," Forsythia said.
"I'm one of a kind," Meowth said.
"And what about the twelve of these? Are they talking Pokémon too?" Forsythia asked.
"No, they're somthing completely different. They're creatures called Digimon. It's a very long story," Sora said.
"And we really don't have time to explain it," Terra said.
"I can understand. Won't you all please come inside?" Forsythia asked.
Once inside, Roserade and Load got the chopped berries ready for the lesson to begin. Kairi wass anxious to learn how to make Poffins as Sora, Ventus, Terra, and Aqua all ended up taking the lessons. Not too far away, a new Digimon appeared in the world. It is a quadrupedal bear Digimon covered in purple fur. It has red eyes, a black nose, and grey fur on part of its head. It has a white crescent moon on its forehead. It wears red armor on the shoulders of its forelegs, the paws of which are covered with red, spiked gauntlets that have sharp claws: the "Kuma Tsume". It sniffed around and wondered around.
Back at the house, Forsythia pours the chopped berries into a pot of cold water.
"First, you put your berries in a pot of cold water. Then, you turn the heat up all the way while stirring nonstop. It's this stirring that gives Poffins their flavor, you see," Forsythia instructed. "Okay, is everyone with me so far?"
"So far, so good," Kairi said. Kairi sets the timer on her Pokétch since she wants to get the correct time on it. Forsythia takes a look at Kairi's station and she was impressed by her skills.
"You look like you done this before," Forsythia said.
"Kairi is a natural cook. She makes all sorts of meals for our Pokémon," Sora said.
"This is actually my first time making Poffins. My grandma used to make Poffins for some hungry Pokémon," Kairi said.
"Really? You had me fooled for a sec, becuase you look like a pro at it," Forsythia said. "And I think it's just nice of your grandma to help out some hungry Pokémon."
"Thank you," Kairi said. The timer went off as Kairi poured the Poffins she was making into the mold. Sora and Ventus weren't doing so well.
"You've got to stir it faster," Forsythia instructed.
"Like this?" Sora asked, stirring it faster.
"No, that's too faast You're going to spill it!" Forsythia said.
"Okay, how about this?" Sora asked, turning it very slow.
"That's too slow! You're going to bun it!" Forsythia warned. Smoke comes from the pots that Sora and Ventus were cooking.
"Oops!" Ventus said.
After a few minutes, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, and Aqua got theirs done and ready. Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, Scorbunny, Staravia, Bidoof, Buneary, Morpeko, Pachirisu, and Hattrem all came out of their Pokéballs. The Pokémon were just as anxious to try them out. Angel, Buneary, Bidoof, Hattrem, Morpeko, and Pachirisu started to chow down on the Poffins Kairi had made. No surprise They all liked them. The Poffins Terra and Aqua weren't bad, so Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, Scorbunny, and Staravia ate those, and ignored the ones Sora and Ventus said.
"Looks like we failed, Sora. Ours are toxic waste dumps," Ventus said.
"Hey, it's our first try. We shouldn't expect to get it right the first time," Sora said. Ventus scoffed.
"Easy for you to say. Anything Kairi makes, she gets raves," Ventus said. Both cousins hung their heads in shame. Mrowth and the Digimon tried out the Poffins and they all liked the stuff right away."
"This is heaven!" Meowth and the Digimon all sang. Roserade looked at the Digimon and got nervous.
"See? Even they think so," Ventus said.
"Yeah, I'm sensing a pattern," Sora said."How did you do it, Kairi?" Biyomon asked.
"My grandma was the one who taught me to cook when I was little. She taught me that Poffins are made for specific Pokémon, just like the Pokémon food I make," Kairi said.
"Wow, your grandma must be a good cook just like you are, Kairi," Biyomon said.
"Yes she is. So is my mom," Kairi said.
Forsuthia prepared some tea for Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, and Aqua as Pikachu and Angel shared some apples as the Digimon were helping themselves for some candy Ventus had.
"Here you go. You've all worked hard today. So, why don't we all relax a bitwith a nice cup of tea?" Forsythia suggested. Roserade was nervous around the group and hid in the hall.
"Say, your Roserade is a bit on the shy side," Sora said.
"Yeah. Kairi's Roserade is very different from that one," Ventus said.
"You have a Roserade too, Kairi?" Forsythia asked.
"Yes. I had her from when she was a Budew when Sora and I were in the Hoenn region," Kairi said.
"Did you have your as a Budew or as a Roselia?" Terra asked.
"I had my Roserade as a Budew. For as long as I had mine, Roserade has always been shy around new people," Forsythia explained. "I remember when I first met him. It was winter as Nurse Joy welcomed me back at the Pokémon Center. When Budew first saw me, he just hid when I first looked his way. He picked a fight with a Glameow and lost. Budew never bonded with any of the other Pokémon staying there either."
"I see," Aqua said.
"Budew liked the bouquet I had with me at the time. So, I brought him back home with me. Ever since then, Budew loved caring for the flowers. Budew then evolved into a Roselia and then, into a beautiful Roserade. Now, Roserade and I have become quite the team," Forsythia concluded. Roserade and Lotad were listening to the story and he sheepishly beamed at the happy memory. Everyone all jumped when they heard a loud roar from outside. They all stepped out to find the bear Digimon on a rampage. The bear Digimon was tearing the garden apart.
"What is going on?" Ventus asked.
"What is that thing?" Meowth asked.
"It's a Grizzlymon! But how did he get here?!" Tentomon exclaimed.
"Another Digimon?" Kairi asked.
"Yes. And I would like to know too," Gatomon said.
"We can figure it out later. We gotta stop him!" Agumon said. They all rushed out to fight the Digimon. They each launched their attacks.

Gabumon, "Blue Blaster!"
Biyomon, "Spiral Twister!"
Tentomon, "Super Shocker!"
Palmon, "Poison Ivy!"
Gomamon, "Marching Fishes!"
Patamon, "Boom Bubble!"
Gatomon, "Lightning Paw!"
Veemon, "Vee Headbutt!"
Wormmon, "Sticky Net!"
Hawkmon, "Feather Strike!"
Armadillomon, "Diamond Shell!"
All of the Digimon launched their attacks, but they all bounced right off. Sora and Kairi had to help their Digimon friends.
"Pikachu! Thunderbolt! Turtwig! Razor Leaf! Piplup! Bubble Beam! Chimchar! Flame Wheel! Scorbunny! Flame Charge! Staravia! Wing Attack!" Sora ordered.
"Angel! Swift! Buneary! Ice Beam! Bidoof! Super Fang! Hattrem! Disarming Voice! Morpeko! Bullet Seed! Pachirisu! Discharge!" Kairi ordered.
All of the Pokémon all launched their attacks, but they all bounced right off of Grizzlymon and he came right at them.
"Bodystrike Reversal!" Grizzlymon shouted as he brought his claws down and smacked them all away. Gatomon and Gabumon weren't going down that easily. Gabumon kept coming at him to swipe his claws at him.
"Claw Attack!" Gabumon shouted as he swiped his claws at him. Grizzlymon swiped his claw at Gabumon again.
"Gabumon, fall back, he's too strong for you!" Gatomon warned.
"I'm fine! I can handle it!" Gabumon said.
"Don't be stupid! He's a Champion level Digimon, and you're a Rookie level! I'm the only one who can handle him!" Gatomon said. Rosereade watched on and became concerned for the garden. The bouquet Pokémon ran back in the house. Once inside, he takes out a red scarf and wraps it around his head, like a masked hero. Grizzlymon was making quick work out of the Pokémon and Digimon when a Magical Leaf came out from nowhere, striking the bear Digimon.
"Magical Leaf? Where did that come from?" Meowth asked. Roserade appared on the top of the roof with his arms crossed.
"Roserade?" Forsythia asked surprised.
"Lotad, Lotad!" Lotad said.
"WHat's with the scarf?" Terra asked.
"That's the scarf I was wearing when I first met Roserade," Forsythia explained. Meowth looked right at Lotad.
"I think you got some explaining to do," Meowth said.
"Lotad, Lotad," Lotad said.
"Roserade has a habit of beating up bad guys?" Meowth asked.
"Lotad, Lotad," Lotad said.
"And Pokémon who love fruit get the berry boot?" Meowth asked.
"Lotad, Lotad!" Lotad said.
"So Roserade protects this orchard from mugs like Smokey the Bear there?" Meowth asked.
"These berries are better than any others. And these flowers are more beautiful than any others too. And it's all because of Roserade," Forsythia said proudly. "But how could my Roserade be so forceful?"
"Lotad, Lotad, Lo," Lotad said.
"Lotad says, soon as Roserade puts on that scarf, it's superhero time," Meowth translated.
"I think He wanted to repay you by protecting your garden after you've been nice to him," Kairi said.
Roserade fires another Magical Leaf on the bear Digimon and swipes at Roserade with his claw. Grizzlymon charges to finish him off when Gabumon jumped right on him and gave him a bite on his ear, making him tumble. Grizzlymon growled angrily.
"You'll pay for that, you little runt!" Grizzlymon threatened. Grizzlymon was about to finish him off when Gabumon started to glow just like when Agumon and Veemon battled J and her henchmen.
"Gabumon! He's Digivolving!" Agumon said.
"Gabumon DIgivolve to-" Gabumon transformed into a large white wolf Digimon with light blue fur, a white underside, dark blue tiger stripes, magenta claws, dark blue-tipped blades, and a very curly tail, "Garurumon!" Garurumon gave a snarl at the bear Digimon.
"Who is he now?" Sora asked.
"He's now Garurumon. Like Greymon is the Champion form of Agumon and Veedramon is the Champion form of Veemon, Garurumon is the Champion form of Gabumon. He is a majestic beast Digimon whose howls are greatly feared by other Digimon," Hawkmon explained.
"So cool," Ventus said in awe. Garurumon charges right at Grizzlymon with his fangs emitting ice.
"Subzero Ice Fang!" Garurumon shouted as he lands a bite onto Grizzlymon, but he smacks him off with his claw. Grizzlymon readies to land a blow onto him.
"Bodystrike Reversal!" Grizzlymon shouted as he smacked the wolf-like Digimon with his claw. Garurumon fights back before he could attack his vitals. Garurumon slams into Grizzlymon. The bear Digimon tries to fight back, but Garurumon gives him a toss out of the garden as Garurumon charges to finish him off.
"Howling Blaster!" Garurumon shouted as he fires a blue high-temprature flame from his mouth. It struck Grizzlymon as it roars in pain. Grizzlymon roars a ball of dark energy comes out of his body and vanishes. Grizzlymon shrinks down to reveal a small gray bear with blue belts, on his paws and his chest. He wore a baseball cap backwards and it reads "Bears" on it. He also has magenta marks on his cheeks. Garurumon reverts back into Gabumon after using up some energy. Everyone all went up to the little bear Digimon.
"He reverted back into a Bearmon," Armadillomon.
"Is he okay?" Sora asked.
"He'll be just fine. What's really eating me up is Grizzlymon don't normally attack unless they're provoked," Tentomon said.
"Well, this one just did," Meowth said. Bearmon suddenly woke up and sat up as he opened his eyes.
"Where am I?" Bearmon asked.
"You're in my garden," Forsythia said. The little bear Digimon looked right at her.
"Who are you?" Bearmon asked.
"We're the bunch you tried to turn into your own personal scratching post," Ventus said.
"Ven!" Sora, Terra, and Aqua scolded.
"I what?" Bearmon asked, horrified by what he did.
"I'm afraid it's true. You were a Grizzlymon and you attacked us," Hawkmon said.
"I'm sorry," Bearmon apologized. "I didn't mean to hurt anyone. I did a bad thing and I don't remember it. I don't even remember when I digivolved."
"Just tell us the last thing you remember," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"What I remember is going out on a walk when something got me from behind. It's all a blur from there," Bearmon said.
"As long as no one else was hurt, that should be okay," Forsythia said.
"She's right. As long you promise not to do it again, it'll be okay," Aqua said.
"I promise I won't do it again," Bearmon said
"Anyway, now that everyone is okay, where's Roserade?" Meowth asked. Everyone all knew how right he was.
"Roserade," Roserade said, holding the torn scarf.
"Roserade! I'm so glad you're alright!" Forsythia said.
"Rade," Roserade said, holding the scarf.
"Oh, Roserade, you don't need a silly scarf to be brave. You're braver than you think you are. I'm very proud of you. And I'm grateful to you for helping protect my garden. Thank you," Forsythia said, hugging the bouquet Pokémon. Roserade hugs her back. Bearmon walked up to them.
"Hey, sorry about earlier. I just haven't been myself. And I'm sorry if I ruined your scarf," Bearmon apologized. Roserade smiled and placed the red bouquet on his shoulder and nodded.
"Rade, Roserade," Roserade," Roserade said.
"Roserade is saying it's water under the bridge," Meowth translated. Roserade got ready and launched Sunny Day over the garden. Lotad fires Water Gun to make it look like rain. New plants were starting to grow. They knew it was just like the legend of Floraoma Town. They were happy to witness it with their own eyes.
Over in the DIgital World, the squad of Devidramon made quick work of the Pagumon in Etemon's unit as they dissolved into bits of data. Etemon was there to witness it for himself.
"Why do I feel like wetting myself?" Etemon asked himself. Etemon recieves a message from Devimon.
"You should wet yourself when you fail to keep a tight leash on your subordinates," Devimon spoke. Etemon turned to see Devimon on the screen. "Consider it a warning." Devimon breaks contact with the monkey-like DIgimon.
Back in the SInnoh region, Kairi's Poffins became the hit with the Pokémon and the Digimon as they enjoyed it so much. Now that Kairi has made her own Poffins, the next Contest is just around the corner and the chance for Kairi to win her next Ribbon is looking good.
