Episode 331: Drifloon On The Wind
A few days had passed since Kairi had won her second Contest Ribbon, now she has three more to gain. Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon made it their mission to reach Eterna City.
They kept their eyes open for a possible attack from an unknown Digimon and for anyone from Team Galactic. The Digimon figured the Digimon who attacked before, being Grizzlymon and Flybeemon being the first two, and possibly not the last. They also knew it has Myotismon's name written all over it.
Not too far, an Digital portal opens and some DIgimon all emerge from it. Among them is a serptinetine dragon Digimon, flying out. Leadig them is a Digimon that resembles a green ogre with long, unkempt white hair, pointed ears adored by earrings, two horns on his head and spikes jutting from its shoulders. He also has an exaggerated lower jaw and has fang-like tusks on its upper jaw like an oni. wears a black loincloth with a belt, a bracer on its right arm, red bandages on both his left arm and right leg and black belts on its left leg. He carries a large, spiked femur bone as a bludgeon weapon. He has a skull and crossbones on his left arm below his shoulder spikes, metal studs on the knuckles of his left hand, and a scar on the back of his right hand. The ogre DIgimon turned to the dragon DIgimon.
"You know what to do, Airdramon," the ogre Digimon said. Airdramon started to fly off in a random direction.
Over to Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon made a stop by a river where the spotted a Buizel. The Buizel points its paw at the group.
"Bui, Buizel, Bui!" The Buizel challenged.
"What is that?" Gomamon asked.
"A Buizel," Ventus said.
"Bui, Bui, Buizel, Bui! Buizel, Bui!" The Buizel challenged.
"Meowth, what's he saying?" Kairi asked.
"Buizel's saying if we wanna cross here, then we'll have to battle him if we wanna go this way," Meowth translated.
"Bui, Buizel, Bui, Bui, Bui!" Buizel said.
"He claims this whole area as his turf," Meowth translated.
"Buizel, Buizel, zel," Buizel said.
"And if we lose, we'll have to give him everything we have," Meowth translated.
"Not going to happen," Sora said. He took out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go right in, Piplup!" The Pokéball opens as Piplup comes out to battle. "Okay, Piplup! Begin with your peck!" Piplup charges right at the sea weasel Pokémon with a peck. Buizel avoids Piplups attack. "Use Pound!" Piplup lands a Pound attack onto Buizel, but comes back fighting with an Sonic Boom. Buizel then fires Water Gun at the penguin Pokémon, landing a hit. Buizel comes at Piplup with an Aqua Jet. "Dodge and use Hydro Pump!" Piplup avoids Buizel's Aqua Jet and fires Hydro Pump and lands a successful attack onto Buizel. The sea weael Pokémon wasn't going to call it quits that easily, so he rushes at Piplup with another Aqua Jet. "Piplup! Bubble Beam, but aim it ro the ground!" Piplup fires Bubble Beam. The bubbles piles up and Buizel bounces right off the bubbles. "Now, use Hydro Pump! Make it a really strong one!" Piplup fires a much stronger Hydro Pump right at Buizel landing a brutal hit and lands on the ground beatened. Sora takes out a Pokéball and threw it. Buizel flows right inside and the Pokéball wobbles around violently. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box activates and it asks him if he wants to keep Buizel with him. He chose to send Buizel to Professor Oak's lab. "Good work, Piplup."
"Piplup," Piplup said, as Sora is calling Piplup back inside.
"That Buizel didn't know who he was messing with," Ventus said.
"There was no doubt that was a strong Buizel. I can tell just by how powerful those attacks were," Terra said.
"That Buizel was pretty brutal, I'll give him that," Meowth said.
After catching Buizel, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon came across a Flareon. The Flareon begins by firing Ember at the group.
"What kind of Pokémon is that?" Agumon asked.
"A Flareon. It's one of Eevee's evolved forms; when a trainer uses a Fire Stone on it," Ventus said.
"What's a Fire Stone?" Patamon asked.
"It's an Evolution Stone," Ventus said. Before Ventus could explain, Flareon fires another Ember right at them again as Angel stepped right in.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Angel, you want to battle?" Kairi asked.
"Vee," Angel nodded.
"I believe in you, Angel. Start up with Quick Attack!" Kairi ordered. Angel started things up with a Quick Attack As Flareon came at the female Eevee with Quick Attack. Flareon has overpowered her Quick Attack and then fires Ember at Angel. "Dodge and use Headbutt!" Angel avoids Flareon's Ember and landed a Headbutt onto Flareon. "Now use Swift!" Angel fires Swift and lands a hit onto Flareon. Flareon came at Angel with a Tackle. "Angel! Iron Tail!" Angel gave her evolved form a smack with Iron Tail. Flareon was angered by that as it came at Angel with Fire Fang.
"Dodge with Quick Attack!" Kairi ordered. Angel lands a Quick Attack, strong enough to bring Flareon down. Kairi took out a Pokéball and threw it. Flareon flows inside as the Pokéball wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Kairi's Pokémon Box activates and it asks her if she wants to keep Flareon with her. She chose to keep Flareon in exchange for Pachirisu. "Done."
"Great catch, Kairi," Sora said.
"Thank you, Sora. Shouldn't there be a Pokémon Center around here, somewhere?" Kairi asked.
"I'll check for one," Terra said, going over the guidebook. "Good news for us, there is one close to us."
"That's good, because our Pokémon could use the rest," Sora said.
"I could go for a cat nap myself," Meowth said.
Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon came across the Pokémon Center, but it looked someone's house instead of a Pokémon Center they're used to.
"Is that it?" Ventus asked.
"I think so," Aqua said.
"It's got the offical letter on the front, so it's gotta be it," Sora said.
"If it looks like someone's house, shouldn't we just knock on the door or something?" Hawkmon asked.
"Let's just go inside, becuse I want to go inside before I start to grow roots," Meowth said.
"Is that a plant joke?" Palmon asked. They opened the door where a bunch of Gastly came out and floated away. Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, and the Digimon all walked inside, looking for Nurse Joy.
"Hello! Nurse Joy? Is anyone here?" Sora asked. They tried to find the lobby, and it was more like a home than a Pokémon Center. As they entered the kitchen, Armadillomon got hungry as he saw what looked like food being covered up.
"I smell something yummy!" Armadillomon said.
"Armadillomon, I wouldn't do that," Terra warned the armadillo-like Digimon.
"But it smells good," Armadillomon said, reaching for the food when a miniature Nurse Joy came in the kitchen with a broom. She screamed, startling the armadillo-like Digimon.
"Stop right there! What do you think you're doing with my dinner? I know! You're thieves, and you're here to steal my food!" The little Nurse Joy accused.
"Get off the table, Armadillomon," Wormmon said.
"I made a boo-boo!" Armadillomon said as the little Nurse Joy smacked him with the broom. "Ouch!"
"Take that, you little thief!" THe little Nurse Joy said.
"Hey, leave him alone! He didn't know it was yours!" Sora said.
"Yeah, I didn't know it was yours," Armadillomon said.
"Besides, we wouldn't steal anyone's food," Aqua added.
"He was just hungry," Ventus said.
"Yeah, what's the difference?" The little Nurse Joy asked.
"She's got us there," Gabumon said.
"Oh my! What in the world's going on here?" Nurse Joy asked. She and another minature Nurse Joy waslked in with some groceries. The other one was taller and older than the little one.
"Hi mommy, hi Marnie!" The minature Nurse Joy greeted.
"Hi everyone," Marnie greeted.
"Welcome to our Pokémon Center," Nurse Joy said.
After a few minutes, the group explained that they were looking for Nurse Joy as she could see that her youngest daughter had gotten carried away for being protective of her dinner. The guests were treated with a meal as Armadillomon got the meal he was hoping for.
"This is great!" Armadillomon said, eating.
"You got your wish after all," Biyomon said.
"And don't forget there's a whole lot more!" The youngest Joy said.
"Thanks a lot," Sora said.
"We do appreciate it," Kairi said.
"And I'm sorry for hitting your friend. Besides him starving to death, I really let him have it bad," the youngest Joy said. Meowth and all of the Digimon, except Armadillomon all laughed at his expense. Marnie stepped in.
"Paige, that was rude," Marnie scolded.
"That was rude," Paige echoed.
"Stop it, don't copy me," Marnie told her younger sister," Marnie scolded. Paige laughed. "Sorry, we weren't all here when you first showed up. See, I was helping out my mom."
"That's a good thing," Sora said. He turned to his cousin. "Ven also helps out his parents too. Isn't that right, Ven?"
"Sure is," Ventus said.
"We're gonna be Nurse Joys too. Just like mom!" Paige said.
"The both of you?" Terra asked.
"Right. My name is Marnie Francis Lynnette Joy," Marnie introduced herself.
"And I'm Paige Francis Lynnelle Joy," Paige introduced herself.
"When we grow up, we want to work full-time with mom here at the Pokémon Center," Marnie said.
"That's great," Kairi said.
"And I'm sure you'll make good nurses when you do grow up," Aqua said.
"How about we help out around here? Just to repay them," Sora suggested.
"Really? Great, we could use the help," Marnie said.
"Use the help," Paige echoed.
Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon helped out with the house. Tentomon helped Nurse Joy with the hard to reach areas. Sora placed the lid on the trash can over the leaves he helped sweep.
"Done," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Done," Paige echoed.
"Please, no copying," Marnie scolded.
"Copying!" Paige echoed again
"Stop it!" Marnie said as Marnie was heading inside and noticed a lunch box on the porch.
"Oops! Looks like daddy forgot his lunch again," Paige said.
"Does that mean you have to bring it to him?" Meowth asked.
"No prob. My Drifloon can help with that," Marnie said. Three Pokémon that have the appearance of a purple balloon. Their faces has two beady eyes and a yellow patch in between them that looks like a cross. At the top of their head, they have a small bit of "fluff" that appears to be a small cloud. Near the bottom of their bodies are two arms, skinny enough to be like string, with yellow heart-shaped hands at the tips. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned the Pokémon.
Drifloon, the Balloon Pokémon
Type: Ghost/Flying
A Pokémon formed by the spirits of people and Pokémon. It loves damp, humid seasons. Because of the way it floats aimlessly, an old folktale calls it a "Signpost for Wandering Spirits."
Nurse walked up to her oldest daughter.
"So, Marnie, will you go?" Nurse Joy asked, holding a small bag.
"Mm-hm," Marnie responded.
"I'm coming too!" Paige said. Everyone all looked at her. "Come on, Drifloon!" A Drifloon comes floating by. "Let's deliever dad's lunch!"
"Paige, you're still too small," Marnie said.
"Not!" Paige argued.
"Fraid so!" Marnie countered.
"I want to go!" Paige yelled.
"And I say no!" Marnie yelled back.
"You can't stop me!" Paige yelled some more.
"Alright, now what do I do?" Nurse Joy asked. Paige turned to her mother."I had an important job that only you can do for me," Nurse Joy said.
"What's that?" Paige asked.
"I need you to bring these cookies to the forest Pokémon, dear. Could you do that, please?" Nurse Joy asked.
"Sure I can! I'll do it!" Paige said.
"Great! I'm counting on you!" Nurse Joy said, handing her the bag of cookies.
"Yay!" Paige said, taking the cookies.
"So, are you all ready to go?" Marnie asked. The Drifloon nodded. Marnie grabs three of her Drifloon by the strings. "Bye!"
"By Marnie!" Everyone said.
"Hang on tight!" Nurse Joy said. Paige turned to Sora and Kairi.
"Hey Sora, Kairi, would you like to come along with me to deliver the cookies?" Paige asked.
"Sure," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
The couple joined Paige in handing out the cookies to the Pokémon living in the forest. Biyomon joins her in handing out the cookies.
"Wow, you must have a lot of friends," Biyomon said.
"She's right. It's no wonder they looked so happy to see you," Sora said.
"Pika, Pika," Pikachu said.
"Yeah, but I've got another Pokémon buddy you wouldn't believe," Paige said.
"Sora and I have gone on adventures you wouldn't belive, so try us," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"My buddy's this big, and super-cool. And it's called-" Paige paused.
"What's it called it?" Biyomon asked.
"My sister said I can't tell," Paige said.
"That's okay. We'll just use our imaginations," Sora said.
"I won't get in trouble if I show you," Paige said.
"That's acceptable," Kairi said.
"Come on!" Paige said. Paige leads them right into a cave in the forest. They weren't aware of a Vaporeon in the woods. It was eyeing the female Eevee with them and followed them and waited outside. They all end up at the lake on the other side and it is surrounded by mist. "Great! Here we are!"
"Wow," Sora said.
"Hey, it's me!" Paige called out. "It's your buddy Paige! Hello?" No response had come. "Nothing. Too bad."
"What kind of Pokémon is it?" Biyomon asked.
"I don't think it's a good idea to ask, Biyomon. Paige did say she couldn't tell," Sora said.
"That's okay, Sora. It's a Suicune," Paige admitted. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Anel got all wide-eyed.
"Suicune?!" Sora exclaimed. "You're friends with a legendary Pokémon?"
"I can see why Marnie told you to keep it a secret," Kairi said.
"Marnie will be mad if she found out I told you," Paige said.
"Don't worry about a thing, Paige. We won't tell," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu added.
"I promise I won't tell either. I don't even know what Suicune looks like," Biyomon said. Sora took out his Pokédex and held it right before the bird-like Digimon to show the image of Suicune.
"This is Suicune right here," Sora said. "Suicune is a legendary Pokémon. It's said that Suicune cleans dirty water everywhere it goes. Kairi and I actually saw one before."
"When we first came to the Johto region and again on the Whirl Islands," Kairi said.
"You saw Suicune before?" Paige asked.
"Yes we did. We saw all kinds of Pokémon in our travels. We even saw legendary Pokémon. Lugia, Moltres, Zapdos, Articuno, Entei, Raikou, even Mew," Sora said.
"You did mention all of that in your adventures," Biyomon said.
"We should be heading on back before your mom will start worrying that you're taking too long to come back," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
They started to head back for the Pokémon Center, unaware of the Airdramon flying around. Pikachu and Angel could hear the dragon-like Digimon fly by, but they didn't see it. Biyomon could sense it, but couldn't see it.
"I could have sworn I just felt something just now," Biyomon said. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, and Paige turned to the bird Digimon.
"Biyomon? Is something wrong?" Kairi asked.
"Nothing," Biyomon said, following the kids and Pokémon.
Over to the Valley Windworks, an obese man along with his Ampharos was doing some electrical work as the wind was picking up.
"Good. It's all fixed," the man said proudly. Ampharos agreed with the man.
"Hi daddy!" Marnie called. The man turned to see her, floating down with her Drifloon. "You forgot your lunch again."
"No, that's two times this week," the man said, Just then, six Digimon poked their heads out of the nearby bushes. Three were winged imp-like Digimon with their mouths wide opened, reddish hair and red eyes. The other three are bat-like Digimon with a skull on the hood.
"Did you hear that, DemiDevimon? He said he forgot his lunch," one of the winged imp-like Digimon said.
"I heard him, Vilemon. Humans must be real scatterbrains," one of the DemiDevimon said.
"Hey, why don't we go over there and take that from him? And eat whatever's in there?" Another DemiDevimon asked.
"Whatever is in there has got to be very yummy," another Vilemon said. The six Digimon headed right towards them, unaware of a Jolteon in the same area. Jolteon could hear them flying and growled. Jolteon rushed on over to them.
"Thank you, Marnie. Now, I'll walk you home," Marnie's father father.
"How come?" Marnie asked.
"The sky. Looks like a storm's coming," Marnie's father said.
"You think so?" Marnie asked, looking at the sky.
"It could be quite dangerous to fly back through those dark clouds," Marnie's father said.
"You're right," Marnie said.
The Vilemon and DemiDevimon attempted to attack the father and daughter for the food when the Jolteonattacked with a Thunder Shock, shocking them. The Digimon all screamed in pain as they turned to see them.
"A Jolteon. No surprise to see one around here," Marnie's father said.
"But what are those things?" Marnie asked.
"I don't know," Marnie's father said.
"You'll pay for getting in our way!" The first Vilemon snarled. "Get ready to attack, boys!"
"Right!" The other Vilemon and the DemiDevimon agreed.
"Nightmare Shocker!" The Vilemon all shouted as they emit a supersonic waves from their mouths. Jolteon easily dodges them. The DemiDevimon all had a bunch of syringes out.
"Demi Darts!" The DemiDevimon threw the syringes at the lightning Pokémon. Jolteon dodgs them and came at them with a Thunder Fang. Jolteon lands a bite onto the third DemiDevimon giving him a shock.
"Yeow! That stings!" The third DemiDevimon cried.
"Let go of him!" The first Vilemon hissed. "Death Claw!" The first Vilemon swipes at Jolteon, but dodges with ease as Jolteon gave him a Double Kick. The second and third Vilemon weren't going to let it get away with that.
"Nightmare Shocker!" The second and third Vilemon shouted, letting out their shriek attack. Jolteon dodges as Jolteon gave them a powerful Thunder Shock and it shocks the six evil Digimon. Jolteon also strikes the power lines by accident. The Vilemon and DemiDevimon all flew off.
"Jolt, Jolt, Jolt!" Jolteon barked.
"Whatever those were, I'm glad they're gone," Marnie said.
"Me too," Marnie's father said. They heard a sparkling sound and saw the power lines going crazy. "Oh no! That Jolteon must have struck the power lines while fighting those strange creatures."
Back to the Pokémon Center, the last trainer and Pokémon left as the Digimon were now relaxing.
"Oh, what a day," Tentomon said.
"Well, we have done quite a work load today," Gabumon said.
"I could use some watering," Palmon said.
"I could use a bowl of cream. And maybe a ball of yarn to play with," Gatomon said.
"Have you looked outside? I hope Sora and Kairi are okay," Wormmon said.
"They'll be fine, Wormmon. They're probably on their way back about now," Veemon said.
"Veemon's right. And Biyomon's with them," Gomamon said.
Ventus, Terra, and Aqua came in as Nurse Joy was typing on her computer.
"I think that's everyone," Ventus said.
"That's great. Thank you so much for all your help," Nurse Joy said. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Biyomon and Paige came back.
"The cookies are gone," Paige proudly said.
"Thank you, Paige," Nurse Joy said. The power suddenly goes out.
"Hey, what's going on?! Meowth exclaimed.
"The power went out, that's what!" Tentomon said. Agumon came in the room.
"The power's out," Agumon said.
"We already know, Agumon," Sora said.
"I wonder if there's trouble at Valley Windowrks Power Plant?" Nurse Joy asked.
"Valley Windworks?" Terra asked.
"Isn't that where your husband works at and where Marnie went to to deliver his lunch?" Ventus asked.
Paige gasped, "Mommy, you don't think something bad happened?" Nurse Joy puts on he jacket.
"Don't worry. Mommy will go there and take a look," Nurse Joy assured her youngest daughter.
"Me too!" Paige said.
"No, no. You stay right here and I'll be right back soon," Nurse Joy said.
"I won't! You always make me stay at home!" Paige said, running out.
"Paige, wait!" Nurse Joy said.
"Hold on!" Ventus said.
"Don't go out there!" Sora called out. Biyomon saw her run out the door as she, Tentomon, Hawkmon, and Patamon followed her outside.
"Guys?" Sora asked.
"Biyomon, Tentomon, Patamon, and Hawkmon will get Paige," Agumon said.
"Good," Sora said.
"You'll have to get to the station," Terra said.
Nurse Joy boarded on her bike as Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the non flying Digimon seen to her leave.
"I'll be back as soon as I can, okay?" Nurse Joy said.
"Just be careful out there," Kairi said.
"I will," Nurse Joy said, riding off to the plant. The wind was getting even stronger.
"This wind's picking up fast," Ventus said.
"You said it," Gabumon said.
"Paige, no!" Patamon pleaded. Everyone turned to hear the small Digimon. They saw Paige was trying to go by Drifloon, but the flying Digimon were trying to stop her.
"Stop! Come on, let me go!" Paige told the Digimon.
"Nothing to it! It's too dangerous!" Biyomon said.
"She is right. You might get lost out there!" Hawkmon said.
"And we don't want anything bad to happen!" Tentomon said.
"But I got to help Marnie!" Paige said.
"They're right, Paige! She'll be fine! Stay here with us!" Sora said. the wind starts blowing carrying Paige, Drifloon and the flying Digimon as it was strong.
"The wind!" Sora gasped.
"Paige!" Kairi also gasped.
"This is not good. How am I going to face Nurse Joy? Am I going have to say: 'the good news is, we were watching your youngest kid. The bad news is, she got blown in the wind!'" Meowth said.
Over at the plant, everything is all set as the turbines all turn.
"The turbines are all good as new!" Marnie's father said. He turned to his Ampharos. "Now, Ampharos, let's get the power going again." Ampharos sends out Thunder Shock to get the generator running. The lights comes back on.
"Alright!" Marnie cheered.
"Thanks goodness it's fixed before that storm gets here," Nurse Joy said.
"Yeah, I'm sorry if you were worried," Marnie's father apologized.
"Not at all, Karsten. I'm just relieved you're okay," Nurse Joy said, lovingly. Marnie rolled her eyes seeing her parents going all lovey-dovey.
"Nurse Joy!" Sora called out. He, Kairi, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, and Angel came running. "Has Paige come by here?"
"No, why? Did something happen?" Nurse Joy asked with concern.
"Paige got carried away by the wind from the storm!" Sora said.
"Biyomon, Tentomon, Patamon, and Hawkmon all flew after her," Aqua added.
"Paige tried to fly here with the Drifloon," Terra said.
"What?" Paige's family asked, getting horrified.
"What do we do?" Marnie asked. Karsten took his iPad and used it to analyze the wind patter.
"Well first, let's track the pattern of that last wind gust," Karsten said. He looked right at the mountains. "They had to have been blown in the vicinity of those mountains."
"That looks so far," Kairi said.
"It appears the winds are all headed the same way, and there will be more," Karsten said.
"Of course!" Marnie sad, taking out three Pokéballs and threw them. "Drifloon! Come on out!" The Pokéballs opens and lets out the balloon Pokémon.
"Daddy, let me go with them!" Marnie said.
"I'm sorry, the storm will get here any time," Karsten said.
"I know, but-" the wind starts blowing as Marnie quickly grabs the strings of the Drifloon as Sora grabs her by the ankles, taking him and Pikachu with her.
"Sora!" Kairi, Terra, and Aqua cried.
"Marnie!" Nurse Joy cried.
"Now what?" Kairi asked.
"Quick! Let's use my car and follow them!" Karsten said.
"Okay," Sora, Kairi, Terra, and Aqua all said.
Over to the Pokémon Center, Ventus, Meowth, and the rest of the DIgimon all stayed behind in case Paige came back.
"Come back safe, guys," Ventus said.
Over to Paige and the flying DIgimon, they ended up somewhere on the mountains.
"Where are we? I'm getting scared," Paige said.
"Me too. I am not liking how those clouds are looking," Patamon said. Tain started to pour.
"The rain! What do we do?" Paige asked. Lightning crashes as Paige gets scared. The Digimon duck their heads down as well.
"I don't know how things could get any worse," Tentomon said. They hear a roar above the sky as Airdramon comes flying by. "If I could literally open my big mouth, I would try to learn to keep it shut."
"What is that?" Paige asked.
"An Airdramon! Where did he come from?" Biyomon asked.
"We gotta protect Paige!" Hawkmon said.
"He's right. We'll have to fight!" Tentomon said, buzzing up. "Super Shocker" Tentomon fires right at the dragon-like Digimon.
"Feather Strike!" Hawkmon shouted, throwing his feather, but it bounces right off.
"Boom Bubble!" Patamon shouted, shooting his air attack. The attack bounces right off as well.
"Spiral Twister!" Biyomon called out. The attack struck Airdramon and did nothing.
The Digimon doved down at them and smacks them down.
Over to the mountain trail, Kairi, Terra, Aqua, and Angel all ride in the back as they came across the blocked path in the road. They all came out the car. They were aware of the Jolteon and Vaporeon following them.
"We'll never get through that," Karsten said.
"Isn't there another way?" Terra asked.
"There is another road, but it'll take us the long way around the mountain," Karsten said.
Over to Sora, Marnie, and Pikachu. They flew over the mountains looking for Paige. They saw the fight going on.
"What is that?" Marnie asked.
"No idea, but it's not good," Sora said. Tentomon flew up to Sora and Marnie.
"Sora, Marnie, you're here!" Tentomon said.
"Where's Paige?" Marnie asked.
"She's down there and we're doing what we can to keep her safe," Tentomon assured her.
"Just what is that thing you're fightinng?" Sora asked.
"That's an Airdramon. He just came out of nowhere. We tried to finish it off, but we're not strong enough," Tentomon said.
"Spinning Needle!" Airdramon shouted, firing needle-shaped vacuum blades from ihis wings. Hawkmon and Patamon both get struck by the attack. Biyomon keeps in firing.
"Spiral Twister!" Biyomon shouted, firing her attack. Biyomon kept firing and firing, but Airdramon smacks the bird-like Digimon on the ground.
"Biyomon!" Sora shouted.
"Pika!" Pikachu added.
"Paige!" Marnie cried.
The Drifloon descend down as Paige sees her sister.
"Marnie! Sora!" Paige said, happily.
"Knew we'd find you here," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu agreed.
"Are you okay?" Marnie asked.
"Yeah, because you're here!" Paige said.
"Good, now let's find a safe place out of this rain!" Sora said, running towards the cave with the sisters and Pikachu. Tentomon, Patamon, and Hawkmon all headed for the cave as well.
Biyomon kept on going as Airdramon, smacks Biyomon back down.
"I have to keep on going. I need to stop him," Biyomon said, struggling to get up. Biyomon started to give off a glow. Sora knew she was Digivolving.
"Why is Biyomon glowing like that?" Paige asked.
"I think I know," Sora said.
"Biyomon Digivolve to-" Biyomon transformed into a large phoenix with jagged teeth at the beak, and has long head feathers on either side of her head, "Birdramon!"
"Did Biyomon just evolve?" Marnie asked.
"Who is she now?" Sora asked.
"She's now Birdramon! She's one bird that's literally too hot to handle!" Patamon said.
Birdramon flew right towards Airdramon, knocking him down to the ground. Birdramon flew above him and spreads her wings as sparkles came from them.
"Meteor Wing!" Birdramon shouted as it rains fireballs and struck Airdramon, engulfing him into flames. The same ball of dark energy came out and vanishes. Airdramon then reverts back to a much smaller white and purple Digimon. He has small forelimbs, purple markings, and a banded collar. His body is wrapped around agold cartridge and has a gold earring on his right ear and a black collar. Birdramon reverts back to normal as well. The Digimon wakes up.
"Where, am I?" The small Digimon asked.
"You don't remember, do you?" Biyomon asked.
"No," the Digimon said. "I think I was dreaming."
"It's all over now," Biyomon said, taking the small Digimon with her. She entered the cave with them. "Are you all okay?"
"Yeah, thanks to you, Biyomon," Sora said, noticing the little Digimon with her. "Who's that?"
"My name is Kudamon. I don't know where I am and how long I've been here," Kudamon said.
"Well, the good news the battle's over, but the storms is still going on," Patamon said.
"Storm's are scary," Paige said.
"This storm is nothing compared to the one I've been through when I was a little kid, and that one didn't scare me one bit. And everyone is already looking for us. Trust me," Sora said, keeping Paige's spirits up. Paige couldn't help but smile to Sora's word.
As soon as the rain stopped, Sora, Pikachu, the Drifloon, the Digimon, Marnie, and Paige, started to make their way back.
"This fog is getting thicker the further we go," Marnie said.
"Stay close. We can easily get lost if we get seperated," Sora said.
"Tell me something I don't already know," Hawkmon said. They came across a llog over a ledge. "Oh dear."
"We can't cross here," Paige said.
"Can't any of you fly us across?" Marnie asked.
"Even if we could, we're too tired from that last fight to carry you over," Biyomon said.
"That fight we been though has taken a lot out of us," Tentomon said.
"Then, we'll have to cross. Pikachu, you go first since you're the lightest one here," Sora suggested.
"Pika," Pikachu said, going on first and carefully. Paige got in Sora's back as he slowly made their way across. Biyomon, Tentomon, Patamon, and Hawkmon flew across with the Drifloon. Pikachu, the Drifloon, and the Digimon made it first.
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Almost there," Sora said as Paige held on. Sora makes on more step as the log broke and makes them fall.
"Sora!" The Digimon gasped.
"Pika!" Pikachu cried.
They all were falling as Suicune came running along and saves them. Suicune lowers itself as Sora and the sisters got off. Pikachu was amazed to seeing Suicune. Sora turned to Suicune.
"Thanks for the save, Suicune," Sora said. Suicune looked at Sora and right at the Digimon with them. The Digimon were amazed in seeing Suicune for real.
"Yeah, thank you," Paige added.
"If you haven't come along, we would have been in real trouble," Marnie said. Suicune turned to the right as they hear them.
"Marnie! Pagie!" Karsten called out.
"Sora! Pikachu!" Kairi called out.
"Eevee!" Angel called out.
"Answer us!" Aqua called out.
"Where are you?" Terra asked.
"Kairi, Angel, Terra, Aqua!" Sora said.
"And my mom and dad!" Marnie said.
"Hey! We're all over here!" Paige said, waving her arms. Nurse Joy ran ahead and hugged her youngest daughter. Kairi went to hug her boyfriend. He hugs her back.
"Mommy!" Paige said, hugging her mother.
"You know you had us worried sick, young lady," Nurse Joy said.
"I know. You're mad at me, aren't you?" Paige asked. Nurse Joy shook her head.
"No, but don't ever do that again, promise?" Nurse Joy said.
"Promise!" Paige said.
"It's a good thing you're all okay," Karsten said. Terra and Aqua noticed the new Digimon with them.
"Who is that?" Aqua asked.
"I'm Kudamon. I have no memory of being here," Kudamon said.
"How about we head on home for supper?" Nurse Joy suggested.
"Yay! I get to eat at the Pokémon Center!" Paige exclaimed happily.
"I could eat two of them!" Karsten said.
"I could eat three!" Paige said as everyone were laughing.
They all made it back to the Pokémon Center with Jolteon and Vaporeon joining them. They made it down to the Pokémon Center and they explained how they bumped into Jolteon and Vaporeon. Aqua explained that they were with them at the road block and helped them out by using Double Kick and Aqua Tail. Angel was grateful to them both. Jolteon and Vaporeon became fond of the little Eevee.
After they ate, Jolteon and Vaporeon stood before Kairi.
"Thank you both for helping us out before. We wouldn't have found them without your help," Kairi said.
"Jolt," Jolteon said.
"Poreon," Vaporeon said.
"Eevee!" Angel said.
Jolteon and Vaporeon placed their paws on Kairi's legs, wanting to go with her.
"You want to come with me?" Kairi asked. Jolteon and Vaporeon nodded. Kairi smiled as she took two Pokéballs and held them out. "Welcome aboard." They both flow inside as stars swirls around the two Pokéballs and confirms the catch. Kairi's Pokémon Box activates and it asks her if she wants to keep Jolteon and Vaporeon with her. She chose to keep them both in exchange for Bidoof and Morpeko. Kairi had three evolved forms of Eevee under belt.
Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon all left in the very next morning after a night's worth of sleep. Kudamon stayed behind since Marnie and Paige has taken a liking to him despite a shaky start as an Airdramon. Ventus pouted when he missed Biyomon Digivolve into a Birdramon.
Elsewhere, the ogre Digimon waited for Airdramon to make a report when the smaller ogre Digimon came to him.
"Where's Airdramon? He should have reported back by now," the ogre Digimon said.
"Not in the slightest, Ogremon, sir. Should we start searching?" The smaller ogre Digimon asked.
"No, Goblimon. We'll move on without him. We got more important work to do," Ogremon said.
"Yes sir," Goblimon said. Ogremon and his troops pressed on. Above them is a butterfly-like Digimon with a fire them hovers above them and then flies off in another way. What kind of trouble is going to come in the way of our heroes now?
