Hi guys how are you doing its me again. I am happy to say that I am totally recovered and I am here with another chapter so enjoy. Some of you may have been expecting a rant section but well I did think it was a good idea to put it up so soon after my last rant. But until I do some further research there is something I want to rant about so expect it every soon.

Chapter 10

Previously

"Kaiba I heard that there are people in the Land of Waves that need to be liberated. Apparently their lives are too miserable to leave so it's up to us to set them free all in the name of Jashin" Kappa said with a demented look. "Jashin will be pleased lest prepare to leave to bring glory to our Lord" the pair stood up and started heading towards the direction of the Land of Waves all the while sending murderous vibes everywhere they went.

D Naruto Residence

D Naruto was just finished looking through future events and he frowned. "I think there will be some anomalies in this mission. Let's hope the kids come back in one piece." He sighed as he looked at the now setting sun. "You still can't see what will happen huh. If that's the case don't worry too much about it he will be fine" Kaguya said as she sat beside him. "Yah I know and until we are allowed to interfere all we can do is watch as events unfold. Stupid deities."

Now

It was morning in the Land of the Wave and everything was gloomy as everyday was. The morning started off with a very depressing atmosphere. Everything was depressed I mean even the songs the birds showed how depressed they were. It was like Gato even got his hands on the lives of birds. Birds were supposed to make every morning feel good with their songs but come on this place was just sad. This was the atmosphere the genin woke up to and well lets just say it wasn't a very good morning for them. Well most of them. To a certain brooder it was like he found the best place to brood, his brooding heaven were there are no happy children running around ruining his moment every now and then. Right now our favourite brooder was patched on top of the roof while he was doing his thing. Brooding. A bird landed next to him but one look from the master brooder told the bird that the spot was taken so it high tailed out of there. Man talk about broody (and he is looking at me with that glare. Man I am out of here).

In the kitchen though things were different. We find Tsunami and Naruto in the kitchen preparing breakfast. If there is one thing that Kaguya beat into Naruto's head it was cooking. Mmmmh it would be a lie to say it was the only thing that Kaguya beat into Naruto's head because there were a lot of things she beat into his head and it was very painful. But Naruto appreciated all the lessons because now he could do many things that didn't make him look stupid. Back to the pair they were laughing as Naruto told her about some of his pranking adventures. For Tsunami having Naruto was a nice change of pace. He was helping her in the kitchen while lightening up the mood. They didn't have enough but somehow Naruto magically pulled out a deer from out of nowhere. He just said it a ninja thing and she didn't question it. They were about done when Sakura came in running.

"Naruto sensei is awake and he wants to see us. Where is Sasuke-kun"

"He is on the roof busy brooding as usual" Naruto said as he began cleaning up while leaving a clone to finish helping Tsunami.

"Hey baka don't say that. Sasuke-kun doesn't brood" Sakura defended her crush. She then ran out to tell Sasuke the news as Naruto headed upstairs. Soon all genin were present in the room as Kakashi sat up on his futon and looked at his genin. He didn't know how to break the news to them. He woke up a bit earlier and reviewed their battle only to discover that they had been duped by the hunter nin and that Zabuza was alive. They had just barely survived their encounter with Zabuza and if he told them that they would be facing Zabuza again he didn't know how they would react. After a moment of silence (nobody died by the way) Kakashi decided to break the ice.

"Hey guys its good to see that you are okay. But I have some bad news. It seems that Zabuza is alive" he announced and waited for the reaction.

"WHAT?" was heard as two of his genin screamed. Kakashi noted that Naruto didn't look surprised and decided to find out. Since the mission began the boy had shown signs that he was sensor. He seemed to know that the demon brothers were there waiting for them and he also knew that Zabuza was hunting them. The boy has been keeping a lot of secrets and it would mess up the team dynamics.

"Naruto it seems that you are not surprised. Got something to say?" the other genin looked at Naruto and waited for him to speak.

"Yah I am not surprised. I kinda figured that part out. Firstly the nin used senbon to hit Zabuza's neck in the place that can induce a death like state which is why you didn't feel his pulse because it was so slow and in your fatigued state you couldn't pick it up. Secondly, dead body plus heavy sword and some hundreds of kilometres to Mist or the nearest bounty station was a dead giveaway. Who in their right mind would pick up a sword and the body and carry them all the way to the Mist just to show proof. The sword or the head would have been fine. I don't know about hunter nin but what that one did was stupid. 'Plus I could feel his chakra signature still available'" Naruto state his logic while hiding the fact the he could sense Zabuza's signature. Now that was just weird. Since when was Naruto smart? The other genin were surprised by the logical explanation that Naruto gave. Kakashi even though he knew that what Naruto said made sense still didn't buy into the whole explanation, he knew Naruto was hiding something from the team.

"That's a good explanation Naruto but I want you to answer me honestly. Are you a sensor?" well damn looks like he made it too obvious for his sensei to spot oh well no need to hide that part now. Maybe he knew Naruto was a sensor but he didn't know the extent of Naruto's sensory abilities and Naruto would like keep it that way for a little longer.

"Yes I am so what of it?" Naruto asked. The other genin were once again surprised. What the heck was a sensor and what did it have to do with Zabuza. So Sasuke decided to ask.

"What the heck is a sensor?" Kakashi gave his student an eye smile before going into the explanation.

"A sensor is someone with an inborn ability to sense other people's chakra. This ability varies in people. Some can only sense chakra signatures only while others can tell whether someone is lying or not from their signature. It is probably how Naruto knew about Zabuza and the Demon brothers."

"Wait he knew that those two freaks were waiting for us? Why didn't you tell us?" shrieked Sakura as she looked at Naruto with fury in her eyes. She was literally red faced which is probably unhealthy for young people. Sasuke's brow just twitched a bit although inside he was seething. 'How dare the dope not warn them of those two and why did the dope have that ability anyway'

"Yah I did but so did our sensei but he saw it fit to keep quiet so I followed his lead. And to make it worse he almost traumatised the whole team with his 'I got ripped to shreds stunt'. That would have gotten us all killed if we had frozen at the sight." Naruto stated as he looked at his team. The situation was getting annoying and fast. They were trying to grill him into giving up more information about his abilities. Once upon a time the old Naruto would have happily spilled the beans but this is a new Naruto, one who was cautious about who knows his abilities. In Konoha there are a handful of people that he would trust with info about his abilities and so far is team is not on the list. They haven't proven themselves to be trustworthy. Maybe in time he would but as things are he doubted that would happen.

Kakashi just gave a deadpan look at his student who managed to shift the blame to him. Yes he knew the Demon Brothers were there so he wanted to test his team. And again as Naruto stated his plan would have backfired had his team froze when they saw him get 'killed'. He had to give it to the kid he sure knows how to divert attention from himself. From now on he had to watch him very closely. And he also had to run damage control it seems his other students were now glaring at him after the revelation.

"Well I wanted to see how well you would do if I got killed. Anyway after breakfast we will go do some training to better stand a chance against Zabuza and his accomplice" Kakashi said as he hoped his excuse would divert their thoughts from his screw up and it seemed to work judging by the exited look in his students. Said students were excited that they finally getting actual real training.

In the forest

Naruto's brow was twitching violently and why is that. Well simple when Kakashi said they were going to start training he thought he would maybe give them some techniques to counter Zabuza well at least slow him down for Kakashi to go for the kill. But this was ridiculous. Seriously chakra control exercises! What is that going to do, impress Zabuza so he wouldn't kill them? Its official Kakashi is the most stupidest jounin alive. They were going to die slowly and painfully well the others not him. If push comes to shove he would always ask the 9 tails for help but with the techniques he has if used right he would be able to go head to head with Zabuza.

"So let me get this straight your idea for training to fight an A rank missing nin is chakra control. Am I getting you right?" Naruto asked his eyebrow twitching violently. The others just looked at his like he was stupid. After they got into the forest Kakashi told them that they were going to do the tree walking exercise before demonstrating it by walking on the tree. This seemed to impress the other genin but it just pissed off Naruto. Sakura made her opinion known.

"Naruto-baka sensei is trying to teach us something useful and you are questioning him. He is our sensei so he knows best"

"And what would you do with chakra control when we get stuck in that mist jutsu of his. That would do absolutely nothing but get you killed. It's totally useless against Zabuza and we do not know what his accomplice's capabilities are. This was the first thing we should have learnt when we became a team. Do you even know what chakra control even does? It helps you control your chakra better and not waste it when using jutsu. On that note what jutsu do you have that need chakra control and are useful against Zabuza. The only one who this exercise would benefit most is Sasuke here because he uses fire jutsu. To you it's totally useless unless he plans to teach you some jutsu to go with that."

After Naruto's rant everyone was silent as they digested Naruto's words. Sakura wanted to retort but found the logic in his reasoning. What jutsu does she have that she had that would be useful in the fight against Zabuza that needed control. She had none, she only had the academy jutsu which would be useless if Zabuza used that mist jutsu of his. So their sensei was teaching them chakra control exercises to prepare to fight against a jounin. Yah they were going to die.

"And beside tree walking is totally useless for someone like me who has Kage level reserves. Unless you plan to introduce me to Kage level chakra control exercises" Naruto continued as he looked at Kakashi to see if the guy can consider what he said. Said jounin looked at his genin with something akin to anger in his eyes. How dare this genin question his teaching methods. Sure he would have taught them chakra control exercises during the first weeks of becoming a team but their teamwork sucked so he had to focus on that.

"Naruto you know that your teamwork wasn't that great that's why I focused on team building exercises and chakra control helps you too. You guys are not ready to learn jutsu yet so we focus on chakra control. And no I am not showing you jounin level exercises it would be like favouritism and besides they will hurt you rather than build you" Kakashi reasoned. They were going to focus on chakra control exercises and that's that. Naruto seeing this just kept quiet. Well if he didn't want to teach him advanced exercises then he will just have to do those that his brother showed him.

Kakashi gave his genin kunai so that that could mark their progress. The other two genin started while Naruto just watched. At least he would get some form of entertainment out of this. Sasuke being the competitive one decided to go first. He only took a few steps before he slipped and fell to the ground. He quickly got up and tried again only for the same thing to happen. Frustrated he looked at Sakura only to find that she was already up on the first branch. It seemed that Sakura was also better at this than he was and he was supposed to be an Uchiha dammit. This was supposed to be easy for him. He heard Kakashi praising Sakura for that while gulling Sasuke so that he would be determined to get better. All the while they forgot Naruto who was now handing upside down in the tree reading his book.

Sasuke then decided to look at the progress of the other male genin only to find him already in the tree reading while upside down. This pissed him off even more. Not only did Sakura beat him at chakra control but the dope as well. Kakashi looked at Naruto and blinked. What the hell. The kid has more chakra than him, he was supposed to struggle the most with this exercise. What was going on? Sakura also looked at Naruto in amazement the class dope just did what the rookie of the year couldn't do. It seems that Naruto has been keeping secrets from the team. If only she knew how many more secrets he was keeping from them. Sasuke decided to ask how he did it but before he could utter s single word Naruto beat him to it.

"If you are wondering how I did it its very simple. Practice. My brother had me do advanced chakra control exercises so these simple ones are easy for me to do. If you think you can control your chakra in one day then keep dreaming. This takes a lot of time and dedication to master and what you are doing is also wrong. Instead of running on the tree, walk on it. Running only gives you a false sense of accomplishment when in actuality you have accomplished only half of what you wanted. So do it step by step analysing were you are going wrong then correct that then try again. Once you make it to the top go back down again and keep this up until you are tired. Don't worry about what Sakura accomplished because you are different. One women have better control than man do and two you have more chakra than she has so its only logical that you struggle to control yours. And you Sakura you are not done. Just because you got on the first branch doesn't mean you are done. Do that as many times as you can until you are exhausted, this will build your reserves because as of right know you have the lowest reserves on the team and during a fight you will run out of chakra quickly" yes even though Naruto doesn't like his team very much doesn't mean he can't be helpful to them. What Naruto had said struck a chord in the other two genin. Even though Sasuke hated being told what to do he couldn't fault the explanation given by Naruto so he did what he was told. It seems the dope was more useful than their sensei was. The guy should have explained this in the first place.

Kakashi just looked at Naruto stunned yet again. His genin were following Naruto's advice which he had to admit was well explained. But why wasn't Naruto helping his team more.

"And why aren't you helping your team more rather than stand there and read your book. If you know advanced exercises then you should help your team improve."

"And the pot calls the kettle black. You are the sensei that's your job not mine. You are also reading your porn and not explaining to the others the essence of this exercise. Beside I am doing my own exercise." Well it was true he wasn't just standing there not doing anything. What Naruto was doing was an advanced exercise in which he would stand upside down while seals in his legs would fluctuate his chakra at random intervals. All he had to do was focus on reading at the same time focus on controlling his chakra. It was a good exercise for him. After that he would have to go for fluctuating weights and leaf balancing as he spars with his clone on top of water.

So the rest of the day ended with the genin doing chakra control exercises. When evening came the genin had a run in with Tsunami's son Inari and let's just say it wasn't pretty. The kid pretty much got on their nerves shouting about how they were going to die and how there were no heroes. They did their best to ignore him. So the next day they changed their schedule. Naruto was sent to help Tsunami with buying groceries while the other genin went to continue their training. Kakashi was looking after the client while he worked on the bridge.

As Naruto and Tsunami were doing their shopping Naruto couldn't help but notice the state of the village. The stores were under stocked and the prices were high. He also notice some thugs walking around harassing the people and this just made his blood boil. Well he would have to make some of them disappear. After their shopping they headed home. Naruto for his part took note of what he needed to do. He needed to find out how many thugs were around and how they operated. He also needed to find Gato's base soon. As they were entering the forest they were met by three thugs who all had sick grins on their faces.

"Well looky here fellas we've got ourselves some fresh meat and she is a pretty one. Boy why don't you go on ahead and let us do some fun stuff with the woman unless you want to watch hehehe" said one of them giving Tsunami a disgusting look. Tsunami for her part was scared it seems her luck had ran out. She knew exactly what they wanted to do with her and if she had to protect Naruto and make it home alive she had no choice. Naruto on the other hand just gave the thugs a blank look before turning Tsunami and in an emotionless voice.

"Tsunami-san would you mind closing your eyes and eyes foe a bit things are about to get ugly. I have been angry ever since I got here and it seems I found myself some stress relief. And to make it great we are in the forest and on one is going to notice what's about to happen" Tsunami wanted to protest but whatever she wanted to say just died down in her throat as she saw the look in Naruto's eyes. One that promised pain and death so she complied.

Naruto slowly drew his kunai before walking slowly toward the thugs. The thugs just laughed saying that the kid was a ninja wannabe. Naruto just smiled as a thug approached him with a club. When the thug was about to strike he found that he couldn't feel his right hand and when he looked he found it gone. He did what any sane person would do in a situation like this, he screamed. The other thugs were terrified. What the hell was this kid? Was he some sort of monster or something he just took their colleague's hand and they didn't see what happened. Thug 2 tried to attack but suffered the same fate only this time he lost a leg. Thug 3 tried to run away but found his way blocked by the same child. And the carnage started and it only lasted 2 minutes before all thugs died with horror stricken faces.

After the carnage Naruto approached Tsunami a shook her. The poor woman almost had a heart attack until she saw it was Naruto and he was okay. She looked for the thugs only to find lots of blood and clones burying something that looked like road kill. She didn't ask they just silently went home while she thought about what happened. Did this child just kill three man and didn't look phased by it? This should not be what children do. So these are the horrors of being a shinobi, children killing people. What a horrible life.

"Don't worry about it. It's what I signed up for and honestly I would do it again if it means protecting the innocent. You have to understand that this world is messed up and sometimes it needs people like us to clean it up." Tsunami just looked at the child and didn't press on being satisfied by the explanation. Yes the world was screwed up big time if children would take jobs like this. But she was also glad that he was here otherwise she didn't want to imagine what would have happened to her.

After they reached home Tsunami reported what had happened to the others and received a myriad of reactions. The other genin were astonished that Naruto had killed three people and didn't look affected at all. Tazuna was just thankful that his daughter was safe and wanted her to stay at home for her safety. Kakashi was amazed at how effective and efficient Naruto took care of his enemies but just thought it was luck plus they were thugs not ninja. Sasuke on the inside was seething. How is it that the dope keeps outshining him at every turn. Well the next time this happens he was going to outshine them all.

Then Inari happened. The kid came in blabbing about how they didn't know anything about suffering and how they were all going to die. Naruto had had enough of this. He calmly addressed the kid.

"You say that we do not know about suffering right. Let me ask you this. Did you watch your entire family being murdered by your crazy brother?" Inari shook his head. "Did you stay on your own in a run-down apartment from the age of three? Did you have the whole village after your blood every time you show your face?" Again Inari shook his head. "Then don't assume you are the only one who suffered. Out there is always someone who has suffered more than you. If I ask you to take up someone's life and live it you will be begging for your old life back. Life might not be fair kid but if you live stuck in the past holding on to your own helplessness you will always remain helpless. But if you want a better life then get stronger. If you are not strong enough then find someone stronger to help you. Don't work towards your past but work to build a better future" with his peace said Naruto exited the house to do his training.

Those left in the house were quiet thinking on Naruto's words. What he said was true and it applied not only to Inari but to a certain emo king. Sakura thought about Naruto's words until something clicked. She got who Naruto meant about the crazy brother killing the entire family but did he mean when he said someone staying in a rundown apartment at the age of three and that the whole village was out for his blood. So she asked Kakashi who then gave a watered down version of Naruto's life making sure not to reveal secrets that should be sealed until the appropriate time. After that everyone looked at Naruto in a new light but whether that made an impact on their lives still remains to be seen.

As for Naruto he went into the forest to try and combine his two techniques the Sensory zone technique and the Replacement zone technique. So far he managed to make the two work together but the technique was slow for his liking and it drained him too much and damaged his body. The 9 tails said that since his body was still adjusting to the new diet and developing he needed to wait a bit but Naruto just wanted to make it more bearable until he is able to handle the physical and mental strain. He was focusing on making less replacements but with increased speed. Sort of like flashing from one place to other but without kunai by locking in on the opponent's signature then replacing himself with the chakra near the opponent. So far to lock and replace took about 10 seconds which was too slow for him in battle. So he trained until he passed out against the caution of his fairy god Kyuubi.

Early in the morning a person was out gathering herbs and upon closer look we find that this was Haku. After their battle with the team from Konoha they retreated and Zabuza was hurt pretty badly so as a medic Haku had to take care of his wounds. So here Haku was gathering herbs for Zabuza only to spot a person sleeping in the forest. Upon closer inspection he found that this person was with the team that hurt his master the blond one. So he contemplated on killing him right here and save them more trouble but at the same time he didn't want to kill him. The logical reason was to kill him but a part of him just didn't want to. In fact his heart was telling him to befriend this person.

Naruto on the other hand had already sensed the hunter nin. He was just waiting for him to make the first move but judging by his chakra he seems to be in inner turmoil on what to do. Well this confused Naruto. Why was this hunter nin conflicted instead of just attacking him? So he decided to just play along and wake up as if he didn't know that the nin was there.

Haku was startled as he saw Naruto wake up and yawn as he stretched giving him a cute fox kit look. Haku's heart began to beat faster and he didn't know why. So he decided to start the conversation but he came out as a stuttering mess which confused him he never stutters ever. Naruto for his part was wondering if Hinata had a family member not part of the clan. The two of them acted so much alike it was weird and weirder this was a dude. Girl stuttering in front of him is cute, guy doing this is just plain creepy. So he decided to ignore the stutter and talk with the guy maybe he would get some infor on Zabuza.

So he helped Haku look for herbs while they talked and after their talk when Haku was about to leave Naruto told Haku to take care of Zabuza. Haku froze at this. So he had been found out. His first instinct ignoring all others was to silence Naruto so he attacked. Naruto for his part was aiming to disable and not hurt Haku maybe not too much. As Haku extended his arm Naruto caught it and did a judo throw crushing Haku into the ground. Quickly he tried to disable Haku's hands but Haku swept his feet causing Naruto to fall on him. So both of them struggled for supremacy rolling on the ground until Naruto got on top of Haku straddling him and a hand on his chest to hold him down.

That's when he notices something was wrong. First Haku froze and second instead of a flat chest like all man have his hand felt some soft sizable mounts on his chest. So he gave a test squeeze earning an eep from Haku. The 9 tails hand woken up some time ago and wanted to play a prank on Naruto so he turned off Naruto's sense of smell. The 9 tails had heard that Haku was a dude from D Naruto's explanation but this Haku's scent smelt female. Who know Naruto would cope his first feel at the enemy poor Hinata she was gonna kill him. Well too bad for Naruto and more comedy for him. Ahh its good to be sealed in this kid.

Haku was a mess. This guy just discovered his (well her) secret that she tried to keep for a long time. To make matters worse he was touching her breasts bombarding her with a myriad of feeling she had never felt before. Naruto on the other hand realised what just happened if the laughing 9 tails in his head was anything to go by. The bastard knew and he turned off his sense of smell. Worse his brother gave him wrong infor or maybe it was one of those discrepancies he meant but the point is he royally screwed up. Naruto tried to say something but no words came out.

Haku was red faced and in an embarrassing situation so she did what any woman would do.

"IYAAAAAH" she screamed and gave the poor boy a chakra enhanced punch to the face before she fled. Naruto for his part flew a good 3 metres before landing in front of an amused Uchiha who looked like he was about to die of laughter.

"Not another word Uchiha" Naruto said as he headed back to Tazuna's home all the while cursing and chanting 'I am gonna kill him' over and over again.

D Naruto residence

D Naruto suddenly shuddered as he felt that someone was out to make him pay. At the same time Shiro appeared in the house laughing his guts out.

"Hey Shiro how is the kid doing anyway" D Naruto had Shiro shadow Naruto for a while before he went there himself.

"HAhahaha dude you screwed up big time. You said Haku was a dude but it turns out it's a she and the kid just groped his first set of boobs hahaha. You should have seen their faces man it was priceless. That Hinata chick is gonna murder him six ways to Sunday."

D Naruto blinked then blinked again before checking what happened (he can see what happed because its now history and he can't interfere unless he decides to go back in time in which what he can change is restricted). "Oh SHIT!"

At the same time Kaguya was looking at a certain Hyuuga heiress with an evil smile plastered on her face. "Oh yes you will do nicely" before giving an evil laugh that scared D Naruto and Shiro. They both knew that whatever she was planning was not good.

Zabuza's hideout

Zabuza was resting on his futon licking his wounds (he is glaring at me). The fight hadn't gone the way he expected but that's alright as soon as he is healed he would take the old drunk's head that's for sure. Suddenly the door bust open and a blushing Haku ran to him. Zabuza asked what happened but the girl just kept quiet for a while not looking him in the face. Zabuza was now worried what the heck happened out there. Then she spoke and Zabuza didn't like what he heard.

"Zabuza-sama what are the feelings you get when someone touched your breasts" Haku asked timidly. Well shit. That was one subject Zabuza wanted to avoid until he found a kunoichi willing to help him out. Teaching about how to kill a person, he was up for it. Teaching about how to chop people with a sword, he is your guy. But giving the birds and the bees to a hormonal teenage girl no way. He was the Demon of the Mist not a guidance counsellor for kids that's way above his capabilities. He kills people not talk about sex to children. To make it worse women in the Yuki clan were complicated when it comes to choosing males. If they react sexually to any male whether by a simple touch on the hand or private areas then that would indicate the guy was an ideal candidate to marry. Anyone else they would not react even if you grope there boobs. Wait a minute. Wait a damn minute.

"Haku who touched your breasts" Haku just looked down and blushed.

"Whoever you are. I AM GONNA FREAKING KILL YOU FOR CORRUPTING MY DAUGHTER"

Well that's a rap for now. Next chapter we will be looking at what's happening in the Hyuuga clan and Kaguya creates her mini me and showdown on the bridge. Oh and a glimpse at the talk Naruto got from the man's night out. See you guys later.
