Episode 336: Sora vs Jupiter
Before we get this chapter started, I just want to say that Sora will be having his Gym battle like in Pokémon Platinum and earn the Relic Badge. It will be at the same time as Kairi is partaking in the Pokémon Contest taking place. Sora will ask to challenge her, Fantina will accept and tell him that they'll have their battle after the Contest. So, Sora won't be taking a long time to turn back and slapped with disappointment upon coming back. Thank you for your consideration.
On the very next day, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon decided to check out the local musuem.
"Here it is. the Eterna Historical Musuem," Aqua said.
"What's so historic about this place?" Agumon asked.
"It shocases the history of the entire Sinnoh region," Aqua explained.
"Really?" Hawkmon asked.
"Sure is. One of the many artifacts that is on display is known as the Adamant Orb. There are legends that surrounds it," Terra said.
"What kind of legend?" Agumon asked.
"Yeah, Terra. What legend are you talking about?" Sora asked.
"The legend I'm talking about is the legendary Pokémon Dialga. It is said that this Pokémon is knwn as the master of time," Terra said.
"Dialga, huh?" Sora took out his Pokédex and looked up Dialga to hear what information it has on it. The image of Dialga appeared on the Pokédex.
Dialga, the Temporal Pokémon
Type: Steel/Dragon
There are Sinnoh myths that follows Dialga that states that Dialga was born when time itself began moving. It also says it can move back to the past, present, and future.
"If a Pokémon that goes through time is one thing, a Pokémon that actually controls time is another," Sora said, putting his Pokédex away.
"Pokémon are really amazing creatures. they can do all sorts of things Digimon can," Gatomon said.
"Truly amazing," Biyomon said.
"Legend states that Dialga and Palkia were the ones who created the entire Sinnoh region. There are countless ancient shrines that honors them," Aqua said.
"Palkia?" Patamon asked.
"Palkia is the Pokémon that is said to control space. Since the beginning of time, Arceus said to have created the entire Pokémon world. Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina were formed. With them are the Lake Guardians, Azelf, Uxie, and Mespirit," Aqua said.
"The world was made by Pokémon?" Ventus asked.
"That what it sounds like," Terra said.
"But which came first? Was it the world or was it Pokémon?" Kairi asked.
"That's a very good question," Terra said.
"Whoa, the world made by Pokémon. No wonder Dialga and Palkia are legendary," Meowth said.
"Was the Adamant Orb in one of those shrines?" Sora asked.
"It was," Terra said.
Inside the musuem, Jupiter came walking in a trench coat and wore sunglasses to avoid detection. She stood before the Adamant Orb. She grinned as the orb was in her grasp.
Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon all looked around in the musuem, checking out the historical sights of Sinnoh's past. Among the musuem patrons, were Nando along with a Sunflora and a Kricketune, Barry and his Monferno doing the same thing, Lucas and his Grotle, and Dawn and her Piplup. Each one of them were making their own way through the Sinnoh region. Gardenia was also present in the musuem after having a Gym battle after Sora. The Twinleaf Town trio bumped into the group.
"Lucas, Dawn, Barry?" Sora asked.
"Sora, Kairi, Ven, Terra, Aqua," Lucas said.
"Funny running into you here," Barry said.
"Right back at you," Ven said.
"What brings you here?" Terra asked.
"We came here after we had our Gym battles just days ago. What about, Sora?" Barry asked.
"I had mine yesterday and we came here before we took off for Hearthrome City," Sora said.
"That's where a Contest is taking place," Kairi said. She turned to Dawn. "By the way, Dawn, did you win your first ribbon?"
"I did. I won my ribbon just a few days ago," Dawn said, showing the group her Contest Ribbon. Lucas and Dawn noticed there were more Digimon with them.
"More Digimon?" Lucas asked.
"Yeah, they're friends of ours," Agumon said.
"Hard to believe it," Barry said. He went up to Gabumon. "Hey, isn't it hot to be wearing that?" Barry tried to get his fur coat off, but he ran off.
"I need it!" Gabumon protested.
"Leave him alone, if he wants to wear, then let him wear it!" Sora said.
"Gabumon doesn't like anyone touching it. He's very cautious about it," Veemon said.
"Anyway, Kairi, did you win your second Contest Ribbon yet?" Dawn asked.
"I won it when I was in Floraroma Town. And it was against an old classmate of yours. His name is Kenny," Kairi said. Dawn froze when she heard that name.
"You battled Kenny and beat him?" Dawn asked.
"Yeah," Kairi said.
"Kenny? You saw him?" Lucas asked.
"Sure did. I take it that all of you knew him from way back?" Sora asked.
"We did. He was in the same class in preschool," Lucas said.
"He didn't tell you anything embarrassing, did he?" Dawn asked, getting worried.
"No," Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, and Aqua all answered.
"Good," Dawn said.
"You mean he didn't tell you about the time Dawn came in her pajams and and wore one of her mom's shoes when she came in?" Barry asked. Dawn glares at Barry, starting to laugh.
"Shut up, Barry," Dawn said.
"Oh come on, it's funny," Barry defended.
"It's not funny to me," Dawn protested.
"Yes it is!" barry said.
"No it's not!" Dawn argued.
"Yes it is!" Barry argued back.
"I said it is not!" Dawn argued.
"Barry, leave her alone! If she says it's not funny, then it's not funny," Lucas said. Lucas didn't like Barry making fun of his crush.
"Come on, Lucas, where's your sense of humor?" Barry asked.
"It's not funny to make fun of a little kid! Besides, you did some pretty foolish things in your youth too! You dumped a fishtank full of water on the floor and out kindergarten teacher chewed you out like bubble gum!" Lucas said.
"It was because Nelson dared me to do it!" Barry protested.
"Remember when you came the class with your shoes covered in mud?" Lucas asked.
"I don't remember that," Barry said.
"It was because you were splashing around in the mud like a Wooper. Your mom was pretty upset when she came on down to see your clothes all dirty," Lucas said.
"That was a long time ago," Barry said.
"And what about the time you threw a baseball out the window?" Lucas asked.
"Nelson dared me to do that too," Barry said.
"And so did Kyle!" Lucas said.
"You're making it looking like that I'm a troublemaker!" Barry protested.
"I'm just saying," Lucas said. "You don't exactly have the reward of the most behaved kid."
(Flashback)
Dawn couldn't help but blush that Lucas was defending her. Back in kindergarten.
"Hi, I'm Lucas. What's your name?" Lucas asked.
"I'm Dawn," Dawn introduced herself.
"Dawn, that's a pretty name," Lucas said. Dawn blushed as she was starting to develop a crush on him.
"Thanks," Dawn said. "You're very nice. And you're cute." Lucas blushed as he scratched the back of his was also developing a crush on Dawn.
Afterwards, they were getting to know each other as time passed. Lucas and Dawn became fast friends. Barry and Kenny has noticed as well.
(Present day)
Dawn was still blushing, feeling happy that Lucas has defended her about her humiliation.
"Dawn? Dawn? Dawn? Earth to Dawn!" Lucas said. Dawn snapped out of her funk. "You okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine," Dawn said.
Just then, an alarm has gone off. Everyone inside were startled by the sound and the police all arrive at the scene when Officer Jenny Jenny came in with a Stunky.
"Are you ready, Stunky?" Officer Jenny asked. Stunky nodded. Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Lucas, Dawn, Barry, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon all rush to the scene and they spot Jupiter above them, holding the Adamant Orb.
"You did this?" Sora asked, in an angry tone.
"Pika!" Pikachu said, sharing Sora's anger.
"I did. The name's Jupiter. And as you can see, I am from Team Galactic," Jupiter said. "The Adamant Orb is quite legendary." Officer Jenny came running in with her Stunky.
"Well, you have it for long!" Officer Jenny called out as she and Stunky approached them. "Jupiter of Team Galactic! You are under arrest!"
"You'll have to capture me first, officer," Jupiter said, taking out a Pokéball and tossed it. "Go! Skuntank!" Her Stuntank came out awaiting Jupiter's orders. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned it.

Type: Poison/Dark
It sprays a vile-smelling fluid from the tip of its tail to attack. Its range is over 160 feet. The fluid smells worse the longer it is allowed to fester.
"Skuntank! Smog!" Jupiter ordered. Skuntank lets out a smog and covers the whole room with smog. Everyone covered their mouths just so they wouldn't breathe it.
"Quick! Seal the exits! We can't let her escape!" Officer Jenny ordered. The entire musuem goes under lock down, preventing Jupiter to get away. The patrons were all panicking and the police are doing what they can to calm everyone down.
"Remain calm, everyone," a police officer said. Sora and his friends were being interviewed by the police.
"All I know is she's from Team Galactic. If we gotten there a lot sooner, we would have stopped her," Sora said.
"Don't worry about a thing, kid. It was because of your quick thinking that we were able to trap her inside the building. She's not going any were," another police officer said.
"Anything on Jupiter?" Officer Jebby asked.
"No. She's long gone. We're looking everywhere for her," another police officer said.
"Crack down on this place hard! Search everywhere if you have to!" Officer Jenny ordered.
"Yes ma'am!" Another police officer said, doing a salute. The police officers continued to search for Jupiter and her Skuntank.
"Team Galactic is at it again. This is bad," Sora said.
"Team Galactic?" Gabumon asked.
"Team Galactic are some bad guys I met when I first came in the real world. Porygon and I ran out, but they hadn't chased after us afterwards," Agumon explained.
"They were took Professor Rowan hostage. That one lady, Mars, I think it was, she was there," Sora said.
"What could they want with the Adamant Orb?" Terra asked.
"We'll have to find her and find out," Sora said.
Over to Jupiter, she managed to find a hiding place as she knew the police were everywhere. She knew it would be too risky to make her move since the police were outside as well. Jupiter made contact with Saturn.
"Jupiter to Saturn. I have a situaition," Jupiter reported.
"I noticed the entire police department are outside. You said you can handle it," Saturn said.
"It became exceedingly difficult because of some kids. It's because of them that I'm trapped here. And it is very difficult to make my move from in here with cops everywhere," Jupiter said.
"Keep calm. You can make your way out of there. Just don't be careless with the Adamant Orb. Remember we need it if we're going to remake the universe in our own image," Saturn said.
"I know. The universe we live in is inperfect and diseased. All because of people's spirits, hopes, and dreams. Our goal is to erase that from all of existence," Jupiter said.
"Indeed," Saturn agreed. The Adamant Orb and the Lustrous Orb are our means of success."
"I'll find a way out. And I'll have the orb with me when I do. Over and out," Jupiter said, breaking contact. "You better still be there when I get out."
Over to Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Lucas, Dawn, Barry, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon were all looking around in the museum. They all bump into Nando.
"Nando? Funny bumping into you here," Sora said.
"It seems that fate has played its role for us to meet, my friends," Nando said.
"You know this guy?" Barry asked.
"Yeah. He's a Pokémon bard we met before. What brings you here?" Lucas asked.
"I was here for a Gym battle and I have earned my first badge just today. And it was a glorious battle," Nando said.
"And what about Contests? Did you win any Ribbons?" Kairi asked.
"I won my first Ribbon just the other day," Nando said.
"No kidding. I won my first Ribbon not too long ago," Dawn said.
"I won two," Kairi said.
"Sounds to me that you're doing well for yourselves," a familiar voice spoke. They turned to see it was Officer Jenny in civilian clothing. She wore a coral hat and a Gyarados jacket. "It's been a long time."
"Which Officer Jenny are you?" Sora asked.
"I'm the Officer Jenny you met in Viridian City. We met so long ago. I trust you two are doing well for yourselves," Officer Jenny said. All of the Digimon were all confused.
"That's right. You're the very first Officer Jenny we met. What brings you all the way out here?" Sora asked.
"Just on vacation. And I wanted to say, major kudos to you for bringing down Team Rocket. All those trainers all have their Pokémon back thanks to you," Officer Jenny said. Meowth was worried that she might recognize him since he knew Jessie and James had him with them. "When I came here, I figured a robbery is in progress. The item in question is the Adamant Orb, isn't that right?"
"That's right. We caught a glimpse of who it was. It was a lady calling herself Jupiter. She's from Team Galactic," Sora explained.
"Team Galactic? Seriously?" Officer Jenny asked.
"Yeah. We know about them because we had a run-in with them back in Jublife City. The lady there called herself Mars," Sora said.
"You know something, I heard some talk that Team Rocket were considering a partnership with Team Galactic. The same for the other criminal syndicates in other regions. That's all I got so far," Officer Jenny said.
"Sora, I think we should go and search for Jupiter and her Skuntank before she gets away," Ventus said.
"You're right, Ven. We'll have to try catch her," Sora said. He took out his Pokéballs and tossed them. "Raboot, Staravia, Chimchar, Gible, and Piplup! Come on out!"
"Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Buneary, and Combee! Go!" Kairi called out. Their Pokémon came out to aide in the search.
The Pokémon splits up to search for Jupiter and her Skuntank. The police were also searching for her.
Over in the Digital World, it was a rain forest. A beautiful[5]feminine teenage Digimon with pink skin, black eyes, shoulder-length green hair, and white flower-shaped hands and feet, and six appendages on each hip, three in the front and the three in the back. It wears a yellow and green highleg leotard with a wing-shaped decoration on the shoulders, a rose on its chest, and a giant pink lilac on its back, and a pink lilac-shaped hat. She was flying through the rain forest. She enters through a tunnel and meets with the Resistance.
"Lilamon. You're here," Guilmon said.
"I came as soon as I could. Heard we had a spy," Lilamon said.
"Yeah. A Keramon. He was listening in on us. Leomon got him before he could get away," Guilmon said.
"What about Agumon? Or anyone else? Did you hear from him?" Lilamon asked.
"No. And it's a bad thing because he could be anywhere," Guilmon said.
"They're not in the Digital World," a new voice spoke. They turned to a Digimon looks like a short, old man with a long, white beard. It always wears rags for clothes and carries around a staff with a lion's paw at the end. "They simply went into a completely different world." Guilmon and Lilamon looked at him funny.
"What do you mean, Jijimon?" Guilmon asked.
"Leomon and the others must hear this. Come," Jijimon said. Guilmon and Lilamon were skeptical about it, but if it is a clue, then they had to hear him out.
Over to another part of the rain forest, four Digimon were standing before a well. One is a small troll-like Digimon with a bulbous nose and wore a long hat. Another is a Digimon that looks like a cute fish-girl. She possesses fish-like flippers on her head and hips while her swimming cap and gauntlets resemble tadpoles. Her outfit looks like it is a one piece swim suit. Another looks like a robot that is made entirely out of wood. And finally, a Digimon that looks like a cross between a flamboyant marionette and a robot. His body is covered in mirrors with two on his forearms that serve as shields, two the front and back sides of his abdomen, and one for a face. The only facial features he posesses are a set of bright red lips.
"Why is Myotismon making contact with us?! What if you three messed up?!" The fish-girl Digimon asked.
"It not me," the troll Digimon said in a lack of grammer.
"Uh, what are you looking at me for?" The wooden Digimon asked.
"He's checking for progress, you dolts!" The green Digimon said.
Bats flew down as Myotismon appears before the four Digimon.
"Lord Myotismon," the four Digimon
"Grumblemon, Arbormon, Ranamon, and Mercurymon. I trust you are making good progress," Myotismon said.
"We have received word that thy Resistance has moved to a location to avoid detection," Mercurymon reported.
"We look for them. We pay Digimon to look for them," Grumblemon said.
"Excellent. I expect no less from the four of you," Myotismon said.
"Thy praise means a lot to us," Mercurymon said.
"Anything about the fugitive Digimon Dorumon?" Myotismon asked.
"Still in the run. I instructed my forces to inform me if the knave shall appear," Mercurymon said.
"And if he does show if face, I'll break his little face in," Arbormon said.
"Excellent. I'll leave you to it," Myotismon said, breaking contact.
Back in Eterna City, the Viridian City Officer Jenny accompained the couple in the search. She asked them about the Digimon with them.
"They came here from another world just like those who helped you take down Team Rocket?" Officer Jenny asked.
"Yeah. A Digital World. We met them not too long ago," Sora said.
"We kinda promise to send them back home if we could," Kairi added.
"I see. Also, how did you get mixed up with Team Galactic in the first place?" Officer Jenny asked.
"Like we said, Mars was holding Professor Rowan hostage. They wanted the research he on Cresselia and Darkrai," Sora said.
"Cresselia and Darkrai? The two Pokémon that controls dreams?" Officer Jenny asked.
"The ones," Kairi said.
"What do you think Team Galactic want with the Adamant Orb?" Sora asked.
"They could be trying to sell it for some sentimental value," Officer Jenny guessed.
"If that's the case, they're not getting rich off it," Sora said.
"He's right. They're not going to get away with it," Kairi said.
Pikachu and Angel ventured in the vents to look. They spotted Jupiter, placing the Adamant Orb in a briefcase to hide it.
"There she is. The lady we're looking for."- Pikachu subtitle.
"We have to tell Sora and Kairi about this." - Angel subtitle.
"You're right. I'll keep an eye on her. You tell the others." - Pikachu subtitle.
"Okay. Just be careful." - Angel subtitle. She leaves to inform Sora, Kairi, and the others. Jupiter places on a disguise to fool everyone. She was took her leave. Pikachu broke the vent, getting her attention.
"You! You're that Pikachu with that kid!" Jupiter said. "You're not going to stop me." She took out a Pokéball and tossed it. "Skuntank! Take care of this yellow pest!" The Pokéball opens and her Skuntank comes out. "Flamethrower!" Skuntank fires Flamethrower at Pikachu. Pikachu dodges it with his speed and she calls it back to escape.
Angel leads Sora, Kairi, and the rest to where Jupiter is hiding.
"Just a little closer," Kairi said. Jupiter was walking by them as Pikachu eventually caught up with her and uses Iron Tail to cut the disguise to ribbons.
"Why you!" Jupiter hissed.
"Jupiter!" Sora exclaimed.
"So, you found me. Good for you," Jupiter said sarcastically.
"Give the Adamant Orb back!" Ventus demanded.
"You have no idea how important this orb is, do you? The Adamant Orb has power that is beyond your limited imaginations!" Jupiter said.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Kairi asked.
"It won't mean a thing to you," Jupiter said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Skuntank! Back out!" She lets her Skuntank out to battle. Sora looked right at Gible.
"Okay Gible! Go! Dragon Breath!" Sora ordered.
"Sora, no! You might destroy the Adamant Orb!" Lucas said.
"You're right. Bad idea," Sora said.
"That's a smart move, kid. You little kids should stay out of affairs that don't concern you," Jupiter said.
"But it concerns me!" The Officer Jenny of Eterna City said, coming in. She and her Stunky came in, ready to get the Adamant Orb back from Jupiter. "You are under arrest for theft of a historical artifact!"
"I think not. Skuntank! Flamethrower all arou- Ow!" Jupiter yelped as she tosses the orb out of her hands by mistake. "No! The Adamant Orb!"
"Catch it!" Veemon shouted. Biyomon flew up and caught it.
"I got the orb!" Biyomon cheered. Jupiter growled in anger.
"Skuntank! Use Sludge Bomb!" Jupiter ordered.
"Gible! Dragon Breath!" Sora ordered. Gible fires Dragon Breath and it struck Skuntank. "Now, use Bite!" Gible moved in to land a bite onto the skunk Pokémon.
"Skuntank, get it off of you!" Jupiter called out. Skuntank knocks the land shark Pokémon off of it and Gible gets back up.
"Gible! Dragon Breath again!" Sora ordered. Gible fires Dragon Breath again.
"Flamethrower!" Jupiter ordered. Skuntank fires Flamethrower and they lock on their attacks. Skuntank's Flamethrower overpowers Gible's Dragon Breath and lands a hit. "Sludge Bomb!" Skuntank fires Sludge Bomb right at Gible.
"Dig!" Sora ordered. Gible digs into the ground. Only his dorsal fin is visible as Gible digs through the ground like a shark swimming in the ocean. The dorsal fin goes under. Gible jumps out and lands a hit onto Skuntank. "Dragon Breath!" Gible gives Skuntank another Dragon Breath and it paralyzes the skunk Pokémon. She growls in anger.
"Skuntank! Smog!" Jupiter ordered. Skuntank unleashes Smog and the two of them makes their escape. The entire police force are outside, waiting for her. "Smog again!" Skuntank unleashes another Smog, covering the entire area, making their escape. She looks back at the musuem. "You win this time, but I'll get you next time." Jupiter vowed as she made her escape.
The Adamant Orb is back where it belongs and the entire police department thanked them for stopping her from getting away with the Adamant Orb.
"Thanks for the save, Sora. The Adamant Orb is back safe and sound. And now, the musuem will have to maximize their security," the Eterna City Officer Jenny said.
"After what happened today, the musuem will have to because something tells me they're going to strike again," Terra said.
"You're right, Terra. If Team Galactic are anything like Team Rocket, then they're going to stop at nothing to get what they want," the Viridian City Officer Jenny said.
"Just what did she mean by the Adamant Orb being more than what it is?" Gatomon asked.
"All we know is it's connected to Dialga. So, that's what we got so far," Aqua said.
"Team Galactic won't stop here. Whatever they're planning, it's going to sink," Sora said.
On the Team Galactic helicopter, returning to their headquarters. Jupiter was infuriated by her defeat.
"Didn't you say that you were going to have the Adamant Orb when you get here?" Saturn asked.
"Those kids got in the way," Jupiter said.
"Similar to Mars's failure in Jubilife City. Our enemies will make themselves known again. And if they do, we'll be ready for them," Saturn said.
Team Galactic may have failed to retrieve the Adamant Orb from the Eterna Musuem, but they won't give up that easily. Also, they still have the Lustrous Orb to retrieve. How will Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon handle Team Galactic the next time their paths cross? And will Myotismon attempt to cross from the Digital World to the real world? Just wait and see what happens the next time.
