Episode 337: One Big Happiny Family!
A few days has passed since dealing with Jupiter of Team Galactic, so Sroa, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon said their goodbyes to Lucas, Dawn, and Barry, and set of to Hearthrome City for Sora's Gym battle and Kairi's Contest. As they went on, they discovered a Pokémon egg against a tree. It would be possible that the egg was abandoned."An egg," Kairi said.
"A Pokémon egg?" Patamon asked.
"So, what egg is it?" Ventus asked.
"Maybe we should take it back with us to see what it is," Kairi suggested.
"Good idea. We should be get there before nightfall," Sora said.
The group went off to find the Pokémon Center to see how close the egg is to hatching. As they went on, they came across a female trainer dressed up like a cowgirl.
"Howdy there, pilgrims! Ah'm a looking fer a trainer to battle. And the one Ah'm challenging you," the cowgirl said, poitning to Kairi.
"Okay. I can take you on that. How do you wanna do it?" Kairi asked.
"Ah was thinking three on three. What do ya say, hun?" The cowgirl asked.
"I'm ready," Kairi said. Kairi handed Sora the egg and got ready for battle. They both took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Giddyup, Ponyta!" The cowgirl called out.
"Go! Buneary!" Kairi called out. Buneary came out to battle, but making in an elegant entry.
"Well, ain't you the cutest thing? Ponyta! Start up with yer Tackle!" The cowgirl ordered. Ponyta charges right towards Buneary.
"Dodge and use Dizzy Punch!" Kairi ordered. Buneary dodges and gave the fire horse Pokémon a punch with her ears.
"Ponyta! Fire Spin!" The cowgirl ordered. Ponyta fires Fire Spin right at the rabbit Pokémon.
"Ice Beam!" Kairi ordered. Buneary fires Ice Beam and blocks it with her ice attack. Both locked in their attacks. It resulted in an explosion.
"Use Flame Charge!" The cowgirl ordered. Ponyta charges with flames surrounding its body.
"Bounce!" Kairi ordered. Buneary avoids Ponyta by jumping out of the way and comes on down and lands right on Ponyta.
"Ponyta! Tackle!" The cowgirl ordered. Ponyta charges right towards the rabbit Pokémon, but fadter thatn before thanks to Flame Charge.
"Dodge and use Jump Kick!" Kairi ordered. Buneary jumps in the air again and comes on down. Kairi knew Jump Kick will do some damage if she misses.
"Dodge it, Ponyta!" The cowgirl called out. Ponyta avoids Jump Kick and she lands on the ground, hurt from the botched Jump Kick.
"Buneary!" Kairi gasped.
"Flame Charge again!" The cowgirl ordered. Ponyta charges right towards Buneary again. Kairi gets an idea and went with it.
"Buneary! Use Ice Beam on the ground!" Kairi ordered. Buneary fires Ice Beam and it freezes the ground, making Ponyta slip and slide. "Now use Dizzy Punch!" Buneary lands a Dizzy Punch and knocks out Ponyta. The cowgirl calls back her Ponyta and took out her next Pokéball. "Yer turn now, Tauros!" Out of the Pokéball came a Tauros. Kairi calls back Buneary and took out her next Pokéball.
"Go! Jolteon!" Kairi called out as her Jolteon came out to battle.
"Tauros! use Iron Head!" The cowgirl ordered. Tauros charges right at the lightning Pokémon.
"Double Kick" Kairi ordered. Jolteon lands a couple of kicks onto Tauros and the wild bull Pokémon stops in his tracks. "Thunder Shock!" Jolteon fires Thunder Shock right at Tauros, and lands a paralysis. "Use another Double Kick!"
"Facade!" The cowgirl ordered. Tauros's body became covered orange aura for a moment. It then charges intoJolteon and deals heavy damage onto him. Jolteon had been taken down. Kairi calls back Jolteon and took out her next Pokéball as the cowgirl calls back her Tauros. "Yer turn now, Growlithe!" She threw it and her Growlithe came right out to battle and barked upon entry.
"Go right right in, Flareon!" Kairi called out as her Flareon. "Fire with fire, right?"
"Darn tootin', sugar! Growlithe! Take Down!" The cowgirl ordered. Growlithe charges right towards Flareon.
"Dodge and use Quick Attack!" Kairi ordered. Flareon avoids Growlithe's attack and lands a hit onto Growlithe. "Now, use Fire Fang!" Flareon lands a Fire Fang onto Growlithe.
"Growlithe! use Flamethrower!" The cowgirl ordered.
"Overheat!" Kairi ordered. Flareon and Growlithe fires Flamethrower and Overheat and they collide with one another. They hold on as they try to push the other back.
"Flareon's Overheat is a pretty powerful attack," Agumon said.
"With a slight flaw," Sora said. Agumon looked right at him.
"What do you mean?" Agumon asked.
"Overheat gets weaker from each time it's used. The first one is always the strongest," Sora said.
Flareon and Growlithe kept holding on for as along as they culd, but it resulted in an explosion between the two. Flareon and Growlithe were still standing, but hurt from the explosion.
"Take Down!" The cowgirl ordered.
"Quick Attack!" Kairi ordered. Both Pokémon ran towards each other to land a hit onto one another. Flareon was quick enough and landed a hit onto Growlithe and earned a knockout in Kairi's favor. "Good work, Flareon!"
"Flare!" Flareon said.
"Eevee!" Angel said.
"Ah, shoot. Can't win 'em all, Ah guess," the cowgirl said, calling back her Growlithe. She walked up to Kairi to congratulate her. "That was a good battle, sugar. Yall raised yer Pokémon right."
"Thanks. You did too," Kairi said.
"So, where are yall heading fer?" The cowgirl asked.
"Just on our for the Pokémon Center because of this egg we found," Kairi said.
"Is that right? It's just down that way if yall are heading there, then ya might want to go down this path. Yall will be there by nightfall. and take good care of that egg, ya hear?" The cowgirl asked.
"We will and thanks," Kairi said.
"No problem. Also there's a storm a coming. So take shelter right away," the cowgirl said.
Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon all went down the path to the Pokémon Center in the nearest town. A storm cloud started to come in. They came across a Pokémon Center and saw how deserted. The Pokémon were also wrecked.
"That's weird. Looks like no one's around," Sora said.
"The place is a mess," Meowth said.
"You sure someone is in here?" Palmon asked.
"What could happen in here?" Ventus asked.
"I don't know, but we should just see what's what," Sora said. "Hello? Nurse Joy? Chansey? Blissey? Anybody?" A Chansey came walking in.
"Chansey?" The Chansey asked.
"A Chansey," Aqua said.
"Good. We have an egg here. We want to se how close it is to hatching," Sora said. THe egg starts glowing.
"The egg is starting to glow," Terra said.
"And what perfect timing. Where coud Nurse Joy be?" Terra asked.
"Chansey," the Chansey said, pointing outside. Sora, Kairi,Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon all went outside to see Nurse Joy up against a tree. She was crying.
"Excuse us. Nurse Joy? Is everything okay?" Sora asked.
"The Pokémon Center is my fault. It's awful. It's the whole place has become a complete disaster, and it's all my fault!" Nurse Joy said sadly. Everyone were all confused by what Nurse Joy had said.
"What do you mean your fault?" Ventus asked.
"You saw what a total mess it is. It's been that way since the cycling road was built. I'm so embrassed," Nurse Joy said sadly.
"Cycling road? Kairi asked.
"I think we passed by that and didn't notice it," Kairi said.
"No wonder you're down in the dumps. All those trainers keep pasing you up," Ventus said.
"That explains why nobody's around," Sora said.
"So sad," Biyomon said.
"When you get down to it, it's not really your fault, isn't it?" Kairi said.
"Yes it is, because the Center's my responsibility! I just don't have the strength to deal with how bad it really is. Like a child's toy long forgotten. Just like the fallen brown leaves of autmn. My Pokémon Center has been abandoned and forgotten by the rest of the world!" Nurse Joy cried.
"Now that's really sad," Meowth said. Kairi approached Nurse Joy with egg in hand. She held up to the nurse.
"Nurse Joy, we need you," Kairi said. She turned to the aubrn haired girl. "We have a Pokémon egg that we just found. It already started glowing. That means a new life is about to get started. A new Pokémon is about to be born. Please, help us bring it into the world."
"But, I'm just no good," Nurse Joy said.
"Don't say that. Won't you help us, please?" Kairi asked. She held the egg out to her and she looked right at the egg. She still wasn't sure if she would be competent enough to care for the egg and feared something may go wrong. The egg starts glwoing again. But more than before.
"This egg's going to hatch any minute!" Nurse Joy exclaimed.
"Seriously?! We just found it!" Sora also exclaimed. And it such perfect timing, it started to rain. Lightning also crashes and thunder can be heard.
"Oh, perfect timing!" Gatmon said.
"Everyone inside now!" Agumon yelled as everyone all ran inside the Pokémon Center. Nurse Joy and her Chansey got everything set for monitoring the egg's activity. Nurse Joy was nervous, fearing that something will go wrong. "What if it doesn't hatch right? We only get one chance at this! What am I going to do?"
"Chansey!" Chansey assertively said.
"Chansey's right, you should get a hold of yourself," Meowth translated.
"You're right. There's only one nurse in charge of this Pokémon Center, and that's me!" Nurse Joy said, gaining confidence.
"We can all do our part to help out," Kairi said.
"She's right. There;s got to be something we can do," Aqua said.
"We're going to need a lot of clean towels. Snd boiling water too," Terra said.
"Right. I'll handle the boiling water," Sora said.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu agreed.
In the storage room of the Pokémon Center, there are three Digimon inside eating some of the food inside some boxes. One is small black dragon-like Digimon that appears to be made of rocks. It has three claws in each wing and yellow eyes. And the other two are small dragon-like Digimon with red wings.
"Who would have thought that coming in this abandoned building was a good idea, eh, Dracomon?" The black Digimon asked.
"Yeah. A good idea," one of the Dracomon said.
"Ogremon would have us peeling potatoes if he caught us slacking off instead of going around and seek out the real world," the other Dracomon said.
"Hey, you think maybe the Resistance would figure us out and try to stop us?" The first Dracomon asked.
"He's right, Vorvomon. They could have figured out our plans by now," the second Dracomon said.
"There's no way they could know. And even if they didn, it'll be too late because Myotismon will have this world along with the Digital World and we can be free to do what we want again," Vorvomon said.
"Yeah!" The Dracomon cheered. They hid as they heard something.
"Someone's coming!" Vorvomon and the three Dracomon all hid. The door opens as Kairi and Angel looked inside.
"No towels in here," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Come on, Angel. Let's keep looking," Kairi said.
"Vee," Angel said.
The three dragon Digimon waited for them to step out.
"Looks like this place isn't as abandoned as we thought," the first Dracomon said.
"Who and what were they?" The second Dracomon asked.
"Someone muscling in on our turf, that's who," Vorvomon said.
Over to Sora and Pikachu. They waited until the hot water was good and ready. Steam shot out of the spout of the kettle.
"Looks good enough," Sora said. He tried to reach for it, but burned his hand. "Hot!" He grabbed and oven mitt and took it in his hand. "Better."
"Pika," Pikachu said.
Nurse Joy Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Meowth, and the Digimon continued to monitor the egg. Nurse Joy checked with her stethoscope, checking on the Pokémon's heartbeat.
"How is it?" Meowth asked.
"Heartbeat and pulse are all normal. How are you, Chansey?" Nurse Joy asked.
"Chansey, Chansey!" Chansey responded. Kairi came in with the towels.
"Are these enough?" Kairi asked.
"That's plenty," Aqua said. Sora came in with the kettle.
"Hot water's ready," Sora said. He poured it into a bowl big enough for the new Pokémon. The egg was glowing more so, knowing that the egg is hatching.
"The egg is hatching!" Kairi said. They were all amazed by the sight. They saw it was a newborn Happiny.
"Happiny!" The newborn Happiny said.
"A Happiny!" Ventus said happily.
"Oh my gosh, she's so cute!" Kairi cooed, taking the newborn Pokémon in her arms. "Hi there, little one. My name's Kairi. It's nice to meet you." Happiny waved her little arms happily. "Time for your first bath." She places Happiny in the water. The playhouse Pokémon happily waves her arms in the water. "There, now, let's dry you off." Kairi said, drying Happiny off in a towel. She looked over to Nurse Joy. "Thank you, Nurse Joy. It's because of you Happiny hatched safely."
Nurse Joy bushed, "Oh, come on now! I'm really the one that should be thanking all of you!"
"Chansey!' Chansey said. Nurse Joy looked right at the egg Pokémon.
"That's right, I've got to get Happiny's food ready," Nurse Joy said.
The three dragon Digimon were watching from the hall and they saw the other Digimon with them.
"So, that's where they've been. There were rumors that they had gone and vanished," Vorvomon said.
"We should tell Ogremon about this. He would want to know about this," the second Dracomon suggested.
"No, we'll have to get rid of them. They'll be a major threat if they're not dealt with. Any threat against Myotismon is to be destroyed," Vorvomon said.
"How so?" The first Dracomon asked.
"We'll have to draw their attention. Force them to come on out. And then, we'll Digivolve and crush them like ripe grapes," Vorvomon said.
"I like that plan," the first Dracomon said.
Kairi fed Happiny the food Nurse Joy and Chansey had made for her.
"Is that good, Happiny?" Kairi asked. "Nurse Joy and Chansey made it just for you," Kairi said. Happiny started crying all of a sudden.
"Why is Happiny crying?" Gabumon asked.
"I think I know why. You want a white stone, is that right?" Kairi cooed.
"A white Stone?" Tentomon asked.
"That would be an Oval Stone. Happiny loves to hold an Oval Stone. It increases the chances of Happiny to evolve into a Chansey. I happen to have one," Nurse Joy said, leaving to get the stone. She returns with the stone in hand. "Here we are. The Oval Stone has to be smooth, also it can't be too big and too heavy. Any discomfort would be unbearable." She handed it to Happiny and she handed it to Happiny They all step outside as Happiny could play with Pikachu, Angel, and Meowth.
"Come and get me," Meowth said playfully.
"Piny!" Happiny said, chasing after Meowth.
"Petite Flame!" A voice called out.
"Baby Breath!" Two more voices called out. They fired fireballs right at the Pokémon, they avoided the fireballs as they fired on. This catches everyone's attention.
"What the?!" Sora exclaimed.
Vorvomon and the Dracomon both stood before the group. The Twelve Digimon recognized them.
"Vorvomon?" Agumon exclaimed.
"You know them?" Kairi asked.
"Yeah. Vorvomon and those other two are the Dracomon Brothers," Agumon said.
"I had no idea you where here, Agumon. But I found you at last! Don't think you're going to get away from me! Dracomon! Now!" Vorvomon ordered. He and the Dracomon Brothers both started to Digivolve. "Vorvomon Digivolve to-!" Vorvomon transformed into a large dragon Digimon with a body made from volcanic lava. He has winged forelegs and lava claws. He has smoke spewing from his back. "Lavorvomon!"
"Dracomon Digivolve to-!" The Dracomon Brothers both transformed into Dragon-like Digimon. One of them is blue and the other one is green, "Coredramon!"
"They Digivolved!" Sora exclaimed.
"Are you scared?" Lavorvomon asked.
"You should be," the blue Coredramon said.
"Because we know the definition of fear," the green Coredramon added.
"Don't think you're going to scare us off like that!" Agumon stated. Agumon started to Digivolve. "Agumon Digivolve to..." Agumon Digivolved into his Champion form, "Greymon!"
"I want to join in too!" Veemon said as he started to Digivolve. "Veemon Digivolve to..." Veemon Digivolved into his Champion form, "Veedramon!" Lavorvomon and the Coredramon were suprised to see them Digivolve.
"You Digivolved too? No matter because you're no match against us!" Lavorvomon snarled. "Get them!"
Right!" The Coredramon both said.
"Blue Flare Breath!" The blue Coredramon shouted as he fired a stream of blue flaming breath from his mouth.
"Green Flare Breath!" The green Coredramon shouted as he a stream of green flaming breath from his mouth.
"V-Nova Blast!" Veedramon shouted as he fired his signature attack to block it.
"Nova Blast!" Greymon shouted as he fired his attack. They both blocked the attacks from the dragon-like Digimon. Lavorvomon moves in and he opens his mouth.
"Take this! Mighty Flame!" Lavorvomon shouted as he takes a deep breath and spits out the largest fireball he could make. It struck Greymon on the spot. "Earth Stamp!" Lavorvomon shouted as he moved in to slam his forelegs right at Veedramon.
"Hammer Punch!" Veedramon shouted as he gave Lavorvomon a punch in the face. The Coredramon grabs him.
"Going up!" The green Coredramon said, lifting him up.
"And going down!" The blue Coredramon added, dropping Veedramon straight to the ground. He makes a rough landing. They both laughed at his misfortune. Gatomon steps in to fight.
"Can handle someone who isn't your own size?" Gatomon asked as she headed for the green Coredramon. "Lightning Paw!" Gatomon lands a powerful punch on him.
"You can't do that to my little brother!" The blue Coredramon roared.
"Lightning Paw!" Gatomon shouted as she gave the blue Coredramon a punch on the face.
'Wow, how is she able to handle them so easily?" Nurse Joy asked.
"Gatomon is a Champion level Digimon. Despite her small size, larger opponents wouldn't be a problem," Tentomon said.
"Champion level?" Nurse Joy asked, not understanding.
"Digimon has different levels. Greymon and Veedramon are Champion level Digimon like she is," Sora said.
"You two handle the blue loser and the cat. Greymon's mine!" Lavorvomon said. The Coredramon headed towards Veedramon and Gatomon.
"V-Nove Blast!" Veedramon shouted, firing his attack at the blue Coredramon as Gatomon jumped and headed for the green Doredramon.
"Lioghtning Paw!" Gatomon shouted and landed anohter blow onto the green dragon Digimon.
"Blue Flare Breath!" The blue Coredramon shouted.
"Green Flare Breath!" The gre Coredramon shouted.
THe Coredramon fired their attacks at the two Champion level Digimon. Veedramon got hit, but he wasn't going to take that laying down. He heds right towards the green Coredramon and prepared a punch.
"Hammer Punch!" Veedramon shouted as he gave the green Coredramon a punch in the face. The blue Coredramon flew right towards Veedramon to attack him. "Hammer Punch!" Veedramon gave the blue Coredramon a punch in the face.
OVer to Gremon and Lavorvomon, they had themselves a stand off. The two Digimon stared at each other like two cowboys in a western stand off.
"Either an Agumon or a Greymon, you're still weak. You'll never be a match for me," Lavorvomon said.
"If you're trying to scare me off, it's not going to work. Now, let's go!" Greymon said. The two Digimon charged right at each other and they locked on. He gave Larvorvomon to the side, but he gets back up and lunges right at Greymon.
"Earth Stamp!" Lavorvomon shouted, attempting to stomp on him.
"Great Horns Attack!" Greymon shouted as he blocked with his horns and lifted him up. He gave Lavorvomon a toss into the air. "Nova Blast!" Greymon fired a fireball right at Lavorvomon.
"Mighty Flame!" Lavorvomon shouted as he Takes a deep breath and spits out a largest fireball and they collide, resulting in an explosion. Greymon rammed right into Lavorvomon again and sent him flying with his horns.
Lavorvomon crashed right into the two Coredramon and they reverted back to their Rookie forms. Vorvomon and the Dracomon Brothers got up and started to fly.
"This isn't over! Next time we meet, you're going to lose!" Vorvomon said as he and the Dracomon Brothers flew off.
Greymon and Veedramon reverts right back into their Rookie forms and went back to the others.
"Everyone okay?" Agumon asked.
"We are, thanks to you," Sora said.
"You were very brave to fight those awful creatures," Nurse Joy said.
"Just what were they doing here?" Gabumon asked.
"I don't know, but Vorvomon was right about one thing; we are going to see them again," Agumon said.
"Just how do you know them, Agumon?" Ventus asked.
"Vorvomon and the Dracomon Brothers were the bullies were knew way back in the Digital World. They harrassed us every chance they get," Agumon said.
"None of us liked them," Palmon said.
Over to Vorvomon and the Dracomon Brothers, they found Ogremon, hiding out in the forest.
"You're sure?" Ogremon asked.
"Absolutley," Vorvomon said.
"Then, Myotismon needs to know," Ogremon said. He took out a crystal to make contact in the Digital World.
In Myotismon's castle, Myotismon sat in his study as the crystal. He reaches for the crystal.
"What is it? It better be important," Myotismon said.
"Master, I just gotten word that Agumon and the rest of his team are in the real world with us," Ogremon said.
"What? Agumon's team of the Resistance has arrived in the real world?" Myotismon asked.
"Yes, my lord. They're traveling with a band of humans and some Pokémon. Vorvomon and the Dracomon Brothers saw them for themselves," Ogremon said.
"Keep an eye on them and report anything back to me. We cannot get sloppy because of your incompetence!" Myotismon hissed.
"No master! I'll get started at once!" Ogremon said, breaking contact. The vampire-like Digimon smirked as he chuckled evilly.
"Well played, Leomon. You were always crafty. It will cost you," Myotismon said.
Over to Datamon, he has gotten the information he needed from Andromon. Datamon grinned as he has all the information on the Resistance.
"Excellent! Myotismon will be tickled with glee!" Datamon said.
Over to the Resistance camp, Leomon, Guilmon, Renamon, Terriormon, Lopmon, and the rest of the Resistance were at awe with what Jijimon had claimed.
"Agumon and the others are in another world?!" Leomon exclaimed.
"Yes. I have picked up on it ever since Agumon's disappearance. I have looked as deep as I could and discovered that they are safe in the human world. They're with a band of humans and some creatures called Pokémon," Jijimon said.
"How can we hope to get them?" Leomon asked.
"I don't know. But I don't doubt Myotismon has caught wind of this new bit of information by now," Jijimon said.
"You think you can dig into it and get us across there to fish them out?" Terriormon asked.
"It's not that simple, I'm afraid. It's going to take me some time to get across to the real world. Until then, we're stuck here with the war," Jijimon said.
"What about Agumon?" Guilmon asked.
"There's nothing we can do for them for now. We can only hope that they're safe with the humans," Leomon said.
"Hope you're right," Lopmon said.
The Resistance had to focus on winning the war for the moment. They couldn't afford any distractions until the Resistance wins the war.
In the Sinnoh region, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon got set as they were about to leave, but there was one more thing they had to get done.
"You wanna come with us, Happiny?" Kairi asked.
"Piny, Happiny!" Happiny said.
"I'll take that for a yes," Kairi said, taking out a Pokéball and tapped it on her. Happiny flows inside and stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Kairi's Pokémon Box activates and it asks her if she wants to keep Happiny with her. She chose to keep Happiny in exchange for Combee.
"Will you promise to take good care of Happiny, Kairi?" Nurse Joy asked.
"I promise I will," Kairi vowed.
"I'm glad. Helping out that little one has given me the confidence that I need. I'm going to try even harder as a nurse from now on," Nurse Joy said proudly.
"Chansey!" Chansey said just as proudly.
"Glad to hear it!" Ventus said.
Now that the local Nurse Joy has regained the confidence she lost, she vowed to try even harder as a Pokémon nurse. Also, Kairi has gained herself a newborn Happiny. And how will Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon all handle Vorvomon and the Dracomon Brothers when they cross paths again? Just wait and see as we go on even further.
