Episode 339: A Stand-Up Sit-Down!
A few days had passed since meeting Cynthia. Sora was honored and thrilled to battle Cynthia, not caring that he lost to her. So, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Riku, Naminé, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, Meowth, Azurill, and the Digimon said their goodbyes to Cynthia and went their seperate ways. Afterwards, Sora exhanged his entire team for Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, Cranidos, and Shieldon. As they went on, Sora had come across a Mothim. He had come out as Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Okay, Chimchar! Move right in!" Sora called out. Chimchar came right out to battle. Mothim and came right at the chimp Pokémon with a Lunge. "Dodge and use Scratch!" Chimchar avoids Mothim and scratches the moth Pokémon. Mothim does a Quiver Dance and then fires Silver Wind right at Chimchar. "Dig!" Chimchar dug into the ground. Mothim waited for Chimchar to jump right out. Chimchar came right out. "Flamethrower!" Chimchar fires Flamethrower right at Mothim and lands a hit onto him. Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it at Mothim. The moth Pokémon flows right inside and the Pokéball wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box activates and it asks him if he wants to keep Mothim with him. He chose to send Mothim to Professor Oak's lab. "Got myself a Mothim."
"Good work, Sora," Kairi said. Just then, a Plant Cloak Wormadam. She figured she should catch her. Kairi took out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Flareon!" Flareon came out to battle. "Use Fire Fang!" Flareon jumped to land a feiry bite onto the Plant Cloak Wormadam. The Plant Cloak Wormadam uses Proterct to block Flareon's Fire Fang. The Plant Cloak Wormadam fires Razor Leaf right at Flareon. "Dodge and use Ember!" Flareon fires Ember and hits the Plant Cloak Wormadam. Kairi figured she'll use Protect if she tries Fire Fang again, so she looked at the branch and decided to knock the Plant Cloak Wormadam off. "Use Quick Attack!" Flareon dashed right at the branch and it broke. The Plant Cloak Wormadam fell right on the ground. Kairi took out a Pokéball and threw it at the Plant Cloak Wormadam. She flows right inside and the Pokéball wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Kairi's Pokémon Box activates and it asks her if she wants to keep the Plant Cloak Wormadam with her. She chose to send her to Professor Oak's lab.
"Now that was a good one, Kairi," Sora said.
"Thanks Sora," Kairi said.
Vorvomon and the Dracomon Brothers were watching them cloesly. With them is a large purple mole Digimon with a drill on its nose. It also has drill claws.
"That's them, Drimogemon. Keep an eye on them and attack them once their guard is down," Vorvomon said.
"On it," Drimogemon said, tunneling underground.
"Drimogemon will take those kids out on a twirl," Vorvomon said. The Dracomon Brothers grinned.
Over in the Digital World, Guilmon, Renamon, Terriermon, and Lopmon all raced in the desert area when they were enountered by Grumblemon, Ranamon, Arbormon, and Mercurymon.
"You!" Renamon hissed.
"Nice to see you too, sugar," Ranamon said.
"What do you want?" Terriermon asked.
"Just to mess you up, right," Arbormon replied.
"Go ahead and try it," Lopmon said.
"Pyro Sphere!" Guilmon shouted, firing a red fireball right at them.
"Blazing Fire!" Terriermon shouted, firing a shot of superheated air.
"Blazing Ice!" Lopmon shouted, firing a shot of supercooled air.
"Diamond Storm!" Renamon shouted, sending sharpened leaves at them. Mercurymon stood in front of them and took the attack in one of his mirrors.
"Dark Reflection!" Mercurymon shouted as he absorbed the attack and sends them back right at them. Guilmon got hit by Diamond Storm, Terriermon got hit by Blazing Ice, Lopmon got hit by Blazing Fire, and Renamon got hit by Pyro Sphere.
"Seismic Sledge!" Grumblemon shouted, hitting them with his hammers.
"Blockade Seed!" Arbormon shouted, firing a seed-like bomb right from his mouth. The seed explodes and wraps them around some ivy.
"Now, it's my turn! Draining Rain!" Ranamon shouted, forming a cloud and sends it to the four Digimon and saps their strength.
"Resistance no match for us," Grumblemon said.
"We can't let you win!" Guilmon shouted as they all started to Digivolve. The ivy dissolves into bits of data. "Guilmon Digivolve to-" Guilmon transformed into a large titanic red dragon resembling a grown-up version of Guilmon. He has yellow eyes, and white hair growing behind his head. Two horns adorn his head, and black stripes on his tigh, tail, arms and neck. Each of his arms are equipped with sharp spikes. His shoulders are adorned with a bio hazard and codes on his black stripes, "Growlmon!"
"Terriermon Digivolve to-" Terriermon shouted as he Digivolves. He transformed into a bipedal lagomorph-like canine Digimon with green fur that has whisker-like markings on his cheeks and a diamond marking on his forehead under his horn. He wore a pair of mini-gun-like gauntlets with movable extremities on its tips, serving as his "fingers". He then wore D-VI'S 503xx denim jeans strapped firmly by a brown belt, "Gargomon!"
"Lopmon Digivolve to-" Lopmon shouted as he Digivolves. He transformed into a purple rabbit Digimon with black eyes, three small horns and two long ears that end in white tips on its head. He also has a triangular white coloration on the bottom part of his face, starting above his black nose. He wore a yellow, sleeveless jumpsuit, on which are characters, a blue bandanna around his neck, a black belt on his waist, and black martial arts shoes on his feet. He has a blue bandanna around his neck. He wields the "Tokaku Tessou" on his arms, which are red gloves that have large, iron claws on his back, "Turuiemon!"
"Renamon Digivolve to-" Renamon shouted as she Digivolves. She transformed into a yellow nine-tailed fox with a white mane and mystical blue flames flaring around her paws and tail tips, "Kyubimon!"
"So what you Digivolve. You're still no match for us!" Ranamon said.
"Right. Come on!" Arbormon shouted as he leapt up to Growlmon. "Roundhouse Punt!" Arbormon gave Growlmon a punch and kick from long distance. Growlmon's arm blade glows.
"Dragon Slash!" Growlmon shouted as he swipes it at Arbormon.
"Fox Tail Inferno!" Kyubimon said, Kyubimon forms blue spirital fireballs and sends out to Grumblemon and Ranamon jumps out of the way.
Turuiemon came right at Mercurymon and his blades out.
"Gaunlet Blade!" Turuiemon shouted as he headed right Mercurymon, but he blocks with his mirror.
"Dark Reflection!" Mercurymon shouted, sending him back.
"Gargo Laser!" Gargomon shouted as he fires lasers from his gun gauntlets. Mercurymon blocks with his mirrors again.
"Dark Reflection!" Mercurymon shouted as he reflected Gargomon's attack right back at him. He laughs as Gargomon gets back up on his feet. "Thou art fools to think thou stands a chance against us. How foolish of thee."
"Pyro Blaster!" Growlmon shouted as he fires a powerful fireball right at Grumblemon.
"Me not done yet!" Grumblemon as he transformed into a larger Digimon with his bulbous nose in place, "Gigasmon!" He spins around like a tornado. "Quagmire Twister!" he spins around and lands a hit onto Growlmon.
"Dragon Wheel!" Kyubimon shouted as she rolls around and sends out a dragon-like flame and sends it right at Gigasmon. Arbormon gave Kyubimon a punch in the face.
"Grumblemon has the right idea," Arbormon said as he transformed into a large lizard-like creature with a leaf mane and has thorns on back. He has two tails at the end and has leaves for claws. "Petaldramon!" He stands right up and his leafy mane spins around. "Leaf Cyclone!" He fires the leaves and lands a hit onto Kyubimon. Gargomon and Turuiemon came right at Petaldramon, but he stabs his two tails in the ground. "Thorn Jab!" The thorns comes right atthe four Digimon. Just then, something unexpected happens.
"Lila Shower!" Lilamon shouted as she fires countless slender beams from her leaf-like fingers. Her attack strikes Petaldramon on his side.
"Lilamon. She shows herself," Mercurymon said.
"Go! Now!" Lilamon shouted.
"Right!' Growlmon said as he and the other four Digimon took off.
"They get away!" Grumblemon shouted.
"Lila Shower!" Lilamon shouted sending outthe slenderbeams again, striking the four Digimon. Mecurymon absorbs the attack into his mirror and sends it back.
"Dark Reflection!" Mercurymon shouted as she is struck by her own attack. Lilamon then reverts back into a Digimon that has an appearance of a flower bud with a green body with stretchy arms and legs, and a pink head with a yellow leaf on the top of it, and a pair of eyes and a mouth which resemble three black dots.
"Oh no! I'm Lalamon again! Time go go!" Lalamon said, taking off.
"We'll have to chase after her!" Ranamon shouted.
"Let her go!" Mecurymon stated. "She was a distraction. After the other four." The four Digimon all chased after the other four.
Speaking of which, Growlmon, Gargomon, Kyubimon, and Turuiemon all ventured through the desert as they came across Tyrannomon and Monochromon in their path.
"Blaze Blast!" One of the Tyrannomon shouted.
"Volcanic Strike!" One of the Monochromon shouted.
They all fired fireballs right at the, but Growlmon uses his blades to cut through them.
"Dragon Slash!" Growlmon shouted, making his way through.
"Gargo Fist!" Gargomon shouted as he lands a punch onto one of the Monochromon, destroying him. They all fought their way though the army of dinosaur Digimon. Several Tuskmon were caught in the mix. One of them is a bipedaltyrannosaurus rex-like Digimon with blue eyes, two fingers on each hand, three toes on each foot, and a pair or teeth so large they pop out of the mouth. They have black skin on their bodies, white skin on itheir bellies, and red stripes on their heads, tails, arms, and legs. The tip of their tails appears to be sewed to the rest of it, and it has green torn spikes on their backs. They all have white claws on their fingers and dark grey toenails on their toes, wore metal ornaments on their upper claws, and multiple brown belts on its wrists.
"Gargo and I will handle the DarkTyrannomon! You go and save Andromon!" Turuiemon said.
"Right!" Growlmon said as he pushes one of the DarkTyrannomon out of his way as he and Kyubimon went on in the pyramid. "Pyro Blaster!" Growlmon fires on the pyramid's walls, making a hole. Growlmon and Kyubimon enters on through. Alrams started going off as several Guardromon were in a frenzy. Also, there are Digimon that has an organic eye on the right and has long claws at the end of their long arms.There were also tank-like Digimon as well.
Over to Datamon, he makes contact to the control room.
"What is going on here?" Datamon asked.
"We're under attack! Growlmon and Kyubimon of the Resitance has broken into the pyramid and theyre heading their way to you now!" A voice reported.
"Send the Guardromon, Mekanorimon and Tankmon down to deal with them!" Datamon ordered.
"Already done, sir," the voice spoke again. The Digimon on the other end breaks contact as he turned to Andromon, knowing Growlmon and Kyubimon reaching him to rescue Andromon was imminent.
Over to Growlmon and Kyubimon, they were making quick work of the Tankmon and Mekanorimon.
"Hyper Cannon!" One of the Tankmon shouted, firing a bullet right at Growlmon.
"Pyro Blaster!" Growlmon shouted, firing right at the bullet, destroying it. It exploded upon contact, and it sends the Tankmon and Mekanorimon coming at them at bay for the moment. Several more of them kept of coming.
"Fox Tail Inferno!' Kyubimon sends out her ghostly fireballs right at the mechanical Digimon, destroying them.
Outside, Gargomon and Turuiemon were making quick work of the attacking DarkTyrannomon, but they were met with a charging quadrupedal bull Digimon with a brown-colored hide. Its face, body, and feet are covered in blue armor with golden trimmings, each portion of which has a red gem. It has two large horns pointed forward. It also wears a tattered red cape.
"Toro, toro!" Gargomon taunted. The bull Digimon charges right at Gargomon. He dodges the bull Digimon by jumping on the left. "Ole!" THe bull Digimon stops and snorts.
"Here Bullmon! Over here!" Turuiemon taunted and Bullmon charges right at the rabbit-like Digimon and jumped above him. "Ninja Fist!' Turuieon gave Bullmon several quick and stealthy and gave him a lift in the air. "Gargomon! Now!"
"Gargo Laser!" Gargomon shouted as he fires at Bullmon and struck him. Bullmon is then destoyed.
Back in the pyramid, Growlmon and Kyubimon fights their way though and makes quick work of the machine Digimon, reducing them into scrap metal. Datamon stood in his place and grinned.
"Welcome. I have been expecting you," Datamon greeted.
"You know what we're here for. We're here for Datamon, so hand him over and we won't break you just like we broke all of your toy soldiers," Kyubimon said.
"Then, by all means, take Andromon back if you can," Datamon dared them. "Digital Bomb!" Datamon fires several computer viruses right at the two Champion level Digimon.
"Fox Tail Inferno!" Kyubimon shouted, firing her ghostly fireballs at the viruses and destroys them.
"Pyro Blaster!" Growlmonshouted as he fired his flame attack at the tiny machine Digimon. Datamon moves his arms and several wires blocks his attack.
"Nice try, fools. Even if you do rescue Andromon, I doubt it will do you any good. Myotismon has all the data he needs and even as we speak, he is already launching an attack onto several of your known hideouts. There will be no other place for you to call home once we're done here," Datamon said.
And he wasn't kidding, a squadron Myotismon's forces, being consisted of several Grizzlymon and Sagittarimon. They fire upon a Gabumon village. The Gabumon all run for their lives.
Over to another village, being consisted of Agumon, the attacks are being done by a squad of Tyrannomon and Tuskmon. The Agumon all ran for their lives as well.
Back to the pyramid, the two Champion level Digimon stood before Datamon as he grinned.
"You're bluffing," Growlmon said.
"Am I?" Datamon asked. He fires the viruses right at Growlmon.
"Pyro Blaster!" Growlmon shouted as the explosion makes contact. In the cover of smoke, Growlmon cuts Andromon out and carries him out. Once the smoke clears Datamon sees that he was gone.
"Well played," Datamon said. Several Guardromon, Mekanorimon, and Tankmon were coming at him, but Andromon fires at them.
"Gattling Attack!' Andromon shouted as he fires at the Guardromon, Mekanorimon, and Tankmon were blasted into blasted bits. Growlmon, Kyubimon, and Andromon made it out as Gargomon and Turuiemon met up with them and retreated. The four evil Digimon had caught up with the pyramid an saw the ruins of the battle.
"We're too late," Ranamon groaned.
"Perhaps, but it matters not. The Resistance are pinned," Mercurymon said.
Growlmon, Gargomon, Kyubimon, and Turuiemon reverted back into their Rookie forms once they were far enough.
"Lost so much energy from that brawl," Terriermon said.
"Same here," Lalamon said, floating down to them. "I couldn't hold them for long."
"You did everything you could, Lalamon," Renamon said.
We should head back to our new base before they see us," Guilmon suggested.
The five Digimon went off to the Resistance camp to report to Leomon.
Back over to Datamon, he makes his report to Myotismon on the screen.
"My lord. The Resistance has rescued Andromon and escaped," Datamon reported.
"Is that so? I was right about the Resistance rescuing one of their own. It shows how predictable they are," Myotismon said.
"You are taking this well, master," Datamon said.
"It doesn't really matter, because we know every place they have been and they are not going anywhere without us knowing," Myotismon said.
Back in the Sinnoh region, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Riku, Naminé, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, Meowth, Azurill, and the Digimon continued on their way to Hearthrome City for Sora's gym battle and Kairi's Contest. Just then, a Glameow and a Misdreavus show up.
"Glameow? Misdreavus?" Sora asked.
"Meow!" Glameow said.
"Misdreavus, Misdreavus!" Misdreavus said.
"They're telling us to follow them," Meowth translated.
The group all follow the two Pokémon to where they want them to go. Drimogemon could tell where they were heading just by the vibrations in the earth. He tunnels after them.
"Those two seems to be in a hurry!" Ventus said.
"That means we better hurry too!" Aqua said. Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Riku, Naminé, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, Meowth, Azurill, and the Digimon stopped in their tracks when they saw Zoey holding her hurt leg with a West Sea Shellos.
"Zoey?" Sora asked.
"Hey Sora," Zoey greeted.
"Thought these two looked familiar," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
"What happened?" Agumon asked.
"I was doing some training and I tripped. It's no big deal," Zoey said. She tries to stand up, but she has trouble doing so.
"You were saying?" Palmon said.
"Come on, Zoey," Terra said, helping her on her feet. "I got ya."
"Thanks Terra," Zoey said. She looked over to Riku and Naminé. "I saw you two in Jublife City."
"Yeah. The name's Riku," Riku introduced himself.
"And I'm Naminé," Naminé added.
"Riku and Naminé are friends of ours. Riku is from the Alola region," Ventus said.
"So, Alola, Zoey," Riku said. Zoey couldn't help but chuckle. Terra sprayed something on Zoey's ankle and placed a patch on her.
"There, that should do it," Terra said.
"Thanks Terra," Zoey said.
"Can you stand?" Kairi asked.
"I think so," Zoey said, but the pain came back as she almost fell.
"You must have goven yourself a really bad sprain," Terra said.
"You gotta rest your foot," Aqua said.
"There should be a Pokémon Center nera here," Ventus said.
"I'm camping near here. If I could just get back," Zoey said.
"We'll take you there," Sora said.
Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Riku, Naminé, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, Meowth, Azurill, and the Digimon took Zoey and her Pokémon back to the camp. Zoey had a chair ready for her to sit in.
"Easy there," Veemon said.
"Thanks a lot, guys," Zoey said.
"You're going to be just fine" Gomamon said. Shellos went up to her with concern.
"Don't worry, I'll be just fine, Shellos," Zoey assured the West Sea Shellos.
"So, when did you catch yourself a Shellos, Zoey?" Patamon asked.
"I caught my Shellos in the very same river just after Sora and Kairi caught theirs," Zoey said.
"And that's a West Sea Shellos. The Shellos Sora cuaght is an East Sea Shellos. I have been wondering how that one ended up in the river in the first place," Aqua said.
"I was thinking the same thing. It's possible that it might have gotten lost," Terra said.
"Maybe," Aqua said.
"Anyway, how are things with you, guys?" Zoey asked.
"Pretty much the same thing. Travelling around and run into some Pokémon and bump into some evil Digimon. We met some of them just the other day. They even looked like Agumon here," Sora said.
"Any of them Digivolve sine we last met?" Zoey asked.
"So far just Palmon and Hawkmon have after Armadillomon. The only ones we didn't see Digivolve yet are Gomamon, Patamon, and Gatomon," Kairi said.
"I see. Anyway, Kairi, have you thought about a Double Performance in the upcoming Contest?" Zoey asked.
"Double Performace?" Ventus asked.
"The Hoenn region didn't have those," Riku said.
"No they don't. But I can show you through the Contest website," Zoey said, turning on her laptop and shows them the site. Marian is on the screen.
"Now, on the first stage of the Hearthrome City Pokémon Contest is a Double Performance. and the second stage is a double battle! Coordinators who successfully complete the Double Performance go here!" Marian explained. On the screen is Kris as she demonstrates. Sora and Kair's faces lit up seeing her again.
"Kris!" Kairi said.
"You know her?" Biyomon asked.
"We met her in the Johto region in Azalea Town. Haven't seen here since we took on Team Rocket," Sora said. "I had no idea she was a Pokémon Coordinator."
"Marvel at the grand scale performance of the world's top Coordinators!" Marian announced. Wani Wani and Pink are on stage. "First up, it's Kris along with ehr Feraligatr's Aqua Tail in action!" Wani Wani performs Aqua Tail as Pink jumps on Wani Wani's tail. "Now watch as it lifts Jigglypuff right in the air!" Pink manipulates Aqua Tail with Psychic. "Then Jigglypuff fires off a powerful Psychic attack! A classic example of how two Pokémon work together to create a magical performance!"
"Makes sense. Coure the name says it all," Gatomon said.
"It sure does," Tentomon said. "Two Pokémon giving the same kind of performance right at the same time."
"And that's on the first stage," Armadillomon said.
"If I remember right, the Grand Festival finals happens to be a Double Battle," Tentomon said.
"Yes, that's right, Tentomon," Kairi said. "And to be honest, it's a new one on me, because I thought it was just like my last Contests."
"No sweat, Kairi. We can just train for it. You got plenty of Pokémon to get the job done. Just which ones have you thought of of?" Meowth asked.
"You know something, Meowth is right," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu agreed.
"Hm," Kairi said, crossing her arms. She thought a lot of what to do for her next contest. She then got it. "I could use Volbeat and Illumise for the Double Performance."
"Volbeat and Illumise?" Ventus asked.
"Yeah. I could have them use Quick Attack like it was a tango. And then have them use Signal Beam while they're performing it." Kairi took out her Pokémon Box and she exchanged Flareon and Jolteon for Volbeat and Illumise. "Come on out, Volbeat and Illumise!" They came out, making an elegant entry. "Zoey, do you have some dance music to play to set the mood?"
"Sure thing," Zoey said. She plays the music as Volbeat bows his head and Illumise does a small curtsey.
"Tango Quick Attack!" Kairi ordered. Volbeat and Illumise both use Quick Attack and they do it as a tango. They were doing very well. "Keep it up! Use Signal Beam while doing a twirl!" Volbeat and Illumise use their Signal Beams as they were doing a spin. The Signal Beam created a stunning whirl. It was an amazing sight to see. "Use Flash!" Volbeat and Illumise performed Flash as their Signal Beam has vaporated and they do a small bow. Sora, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Riku, Naminé, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, Meowth, Azurill, the Digimon, and Zoey all clapped as Kairi, Volbeat, and Illumise do a bow after a splendid performance.
"That was a good performance," Gabumon said.
"Volbeat and Illumise are very good together," Hawkmon said.
"Volbeat and Illumise are firefly Pokémon. They go together like a Nidoking and a Nidoqueen," Riku said.
"Now that you have demonstrated a prefect performance, how would you fo a double battle?" Zoey asked. Kairi thought again.
"Maybe, I could use Vaporeon and Buneary," Kairi said.
"And I can be your opponent," Riku said. He took a his Pokéball and tossed it. "Lycanroc! Come on out!" Lycanroc came out to assist. He looked right at Eevee. "Okay, Eevee. You go in too."
"Vee," Eevee said.
Both of Eevee and Lycanroc took their posistions. Kairi took out her two Pokéballs and tossed them.
"Buneary! Buneary! Go!" Kairi called out as Vaporeon and Buneary came out to battle.
"Lady's first, Kairi," Riku said.
"Vaporeon! Use Aurora Beam! Buneary! Use Ice Beam!" Kairi ordered. Vaporeon and Buneary fired their ice attacks and they combine and creates a dazzling beam.
"Eevee, Lycanroc! Dodge!" Riku called out. Eevee and Lycanroc both avoid the combo attack just by jumping. "Eevee! Use Swift! Lycanroc! Use Crush Claw on Buneary!" Eevee fires Swift as Lycanroc comes as Buneary with stars behind him.
"Buneary! Jump Kick! Vaporeon! Aqua Tail!" Kairi ordered. Buneary jumped right in the air to do a kick. Vaporeon charges right at Lycanroc with her tail emitting water. Vaporeon lands a hit onto Lycanroc as Buneary heads right towards Eevee.
"Dodge with Quick Attack!" Riku ordered. Eevee dodges and Buneary lands and misses, hurting herself.
"Buneary!" Kairi gasped.
"Good dodge, Eevee," Riku said. Eevee's ears start twitching.
"VEE!" Eevee said.
"What's wrong?" Riku asked. Pikachu and Angel hear something too.
"What was that?" Naminé asked. They got their answer when the mole-like Digimon came out. He lets out a roar upon entry.
"Another Digimon?" Riku asked.
"Yes. It's a Drimogemon," Gatomon said.
"Drimogemon are tunnel digging Digimon. Their main weapons are their drills on their noses," Agumon said.
"You mean it's a Digimon like that one Digimon that attacked before?" Zoey asked.
"Sure is," Sora said.
"I'm going to give you such a drilling! Drill Spin!" Drimogemon shouted as he came at the group.
"Spiral Twister!" Biyomn shouted as she fires her spiral attack at the mole Digimon, striking him.
"Pepper Breath!" Agumon shouted, firing a fireball at him. It struck him, but hardly hurt him.
"You Rookie level Digimon think you can hurt me like that? think again!" Drimogemon said, taking out a bone to throw. "Crusher Bone!" He threw the bone right at them.
"Eevee! Swift!" Riku ordered. Eevee fires Swift and it struck the mole Digimon.
"Glameow! Shock Wave! Shellos! Mud Bomb!" Zoey ordered. Glameow and Shellos fire their attacks at him, but dug into the earth to avoid the hit. Drimogemon emerges from the ground again, but this time, by the water.
Wormmon, "Sticky Net!"
Palmon, "Poison Ivy!"
Wormmon fires a silk net from his mouth as Palmon grabbed with her vines. Drimogemon pulls them both and smacks them.
Gomamon, "Marching Fishes!" Several fish came out of the water and attacked him. "Water Shot!" Gomamon fires a stream of water from his mouth and Drimogemon swats at him.
"Gomamon!" Kairi gasped. Gomamon then started to glow. Another Digivolution was happening.
"Gomamon Digivolve to-" Gomamon shouted as he transformed into a large Digimon that is a cross between a walrus and a polar bear with a black horn on his head, "Ikkakumon!" Drimogemon wasn't impressed.
"You think you can scare me?" Drimogemon asked.
"I don't think I can!" Ikkakumon said. "Harpoon Torpedo!" Ikkakumon fires his horn and it opens into a green missle with a red head. The torpedo explodes when it makes contact with Drimogemon. He growled as he heads for the walrus-like Digimon.
"Drill Spin!" Drimogemon shouted as his drill spins around. Ikkakumon blocks with his horn and blocks it.
"One of us has to help him out," Agumon said.
"Leave that to me," Palmon said as she began to Digivolve. "Palmon Digivolve to-" Palmon transforms into her Champion form, "Togemon!" She comes right at Drimogemon. "Try me out for size, gopher boy! Coconut Punch!" She lands a punch onto Drimogemon, mkaing him lose controland for Ikkakumon to push him off. "Ikakkumon, finish him off now!"
"Harpoon Torpedo!" Ikkakumon shouted as he fired several of missles and they all head right down onto Drimogemon and he fell on the ground beaten. He then dissolves into bits of data. Ikkakumon and Togemon reert back to their Rookie forms. Vorvomon and the Dracomon Brothers were watching and they flew off to find Ogremon; and when they did...
"What?! Drimogemon was taken out?!" Ogremon exclaimed.
"Um, yes," Vorvomom answered.
"It was because of Togemon and Ikkakumon working together," the first Dracomon added.
"You useless lizards have blew it! How do you think it's going to look if the higher-ups finds out?" Ogremon asked.
"That depends greatly on you," a new voice spoke. He turned to see Devimon behind him.
"Devimon? When did you get here?" Ogremon asked.
"Just now, Ogremon. I came here through a digital gate just now. Lord Myotismon sent me here to check on your progress," Devimon said. Ogremon winced. He knew Myotismon would be unhappy about failure in his unit. "And judging by how Drimogemon has fallen in battle, I would say not so well."
"And how are things in the Digital World?" Ogremon asked.
"Better than your pathetic progress here. Your incompetence is very laughable! With your leadership, you couldn't lead a parade!" Devimon said.
"It wasn't my fault," Ogremon said.
"Enough! I'm taking control of the operation. I'll be sure to inform lord Myotismon of this," Devimon said.
Back to Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Riku, Naminé, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, Meowth, Azurill, and the Digimon, made it to the nearest Pokémon Center as the sun sets.
"Your foot is still swelling, so you should stay off it for another day," Terra said.
"I will and thanks again," Zoey said. "I'll see you at the Contest, Kairi."
"You too, Zoey," Kairi said.
"And good luck in your Gym battle, Sora," Zoey said.
"Thanks," Sora said.
They all took off for Hearthrome City as the Gym battle and Contet for the couple are closer than ever.
Over to Devimon and Ogremon, they made contact in the Digital World as they made contact with Myotismon to report Drimogemon's defeat.
"Defeated?!" Myotismon yelled in anger.
"Yes, my lord. It was because of Ogremon's failure as a leader. It is my personal opinion that we lost contact with Grizzlymon, Airdramon, Kuwagamon, Tuskmon, Thunderbirdmon, and Sagittarimon because of them," Devimon said.
"Your opinion is well-sounded, Devimon. You will be in charge of the operation in the real world from now on," Myotismon said. Devimon grinned, feeling satisfied.
"I thank you, master," Devimon said. Myotismon breaks contact as Ogremon felt like he was stripped of his title. "Come Ogremon. We have work to do." Ogremon agreed as he follows. Vorvomon, the Dracomon Brothers, and the two BlackAgumon follow him.
