Episode 340: Clash of Light and Dark
"Okay, you guys all realize this can't be a coincidence, right?" Agumon asked.
"You mean about evil Digimon showing up in the real world? Until Grizzlymon, I thought we were the only Digimon here," Gabumon said.
"I think we all thought the same thing. If only we could make contact with Leomon and the rest of the Resistance in the Digital World. There's no way we can do that unless we know how," Gatomon said.
"None of you could suspect Myotismon is behind this, right?" Biyomon asked.
"This has Myotismon's smell all over this. He will do anything to get what he wants," Veemon said.
"Veemon has a point. We saw Vorvomon, the Dracomon Brothers, and those BlackAgumon, so that could only mean Ogremon is here with is," Palmon said.
"That guys too dumb to tie his own shoes; that's if he wore shoes," Gomamon said.
"And he stinks," Patamon said.
"And ugly," Armadillomon said.
"Not to mention, he's an extremely bad temper," Tentomon said.
"And he's not very nice," Wormmon said.
"If Ogremon is here, then it's a good thing we're here, because we can stop him," Agumon said.
"But what do we do about Sora, Kairi, Ven, Terra, Aqua, and the Pokémon?" Biyomon asked.
"And about Riku and Naminé? What do we do if they hear the truth?" Tentomon said.
"It's not their war. I just don't want them to get mixed in this because of us. Besides, I don't want to lose anyone else. Remember what happened to Andromon?" Agumon asked.
"Sadly yes," Palmon said. "And not to mention poor Monzeamon."
"And since we got here, we have no idea who's still fighting and who's dust," Gabumon said.
"So, until we find a way back home, we keep the war to ourselves even more. Besides, Leomon will do just fine without us," Agumon said.
"Right," the other Digimon agreed. They had to have faith that Leomon is still fighting the good fight in the Digital World against Myotismon. They quietly and carefully snuck and laid back down and slept soundly next to the Pokémon.
In the Resistance camp, Leomon was pleased to see Andromon was now safe and sound. But he was worried about Myotismon's forces at work.
"If what Datamon says is true, then all of our old hideouts have been compromised," Leomon said.
"What about our current hideout?" Lalamon asked.
"Fortunately, our current position remains uncompromised," Leomon said. "But we can't afford any more mistakes on our part."
"But, what about Agumon and the others? Is there anyway to get in touch with them?" Gaomon asked.
"I have already tried it. Unfortunately, I was unable to get through," Leomon said. Just then, a humanoid Digimon with a lion's design came before Leomon. He wore black armor and he has a lion's face on his chest, knees, and shoulders. He has gold trims on his shins and claws.
"Leomon, we just got word that another village was just attacked. It was a Bearmon village this time," the black Digimon said.
"Drat! I feared it was getting worse," Leomon said. "Loweemon, you're coming with me. Gather Agunimon, Lobomon, Kumamon, and Kazemon and inform them of the situation."
"On it, Leomon," Loweemon said, getting on with his task.
Back in the Sinnoh region on the next morning, Cranidos and Shieldon were doing some training. By then, Cranidos and Shieldon learned to use some new attacks. They both used Iron Head.
"Good work, guys! Keep it up!" Sora said. Cranidos and Shieldon beamed as they were praised by their trainer.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Okay guys. Keep it up! This time, Cranidos, use Zen Headbutt and Shieldon use Protect!" Sora ordered. Cranidos charges right at Shieldon as he used Protect and blocked the Zen Headbutt. "Good work on Zen Headbutt, Cranidos. And good job on Protect, Shieldon." Cranidos and Shieldon high-hived each other for a job well-done.
Sora, Pikachu, Cranidos, and Shieldon rejoins their friends as they gather around for some breakfast. The Digimon all were looking forward for the breakfast Kairi makes. Cranidos and Shieldon was happy to eat the Pokémon food Kairi has provided. As they were eating, a trainer approaches the group. He has Pokéballs on his vest, three on each side.
"Hey you there! I'm looking for a Pokémon trainer named Sora Ketchum the Pokémon League Champion of Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn! You know him?" The trainer challenged.
"Yeah, that'll be me," Sora said.
"Why are you looking for Sora?" Agumon asked.
"I'm looking for a match! One, I am so going to win!" The trainer said.
"We're going to see about that, dude!" Sora said, accepting the challenge. He looked over to his other five Pokémon and he knew which one to go with. "Shieldon! You're in first!" Shieldon nodded and went on in to battle. Sora's opponent took a Pokéball from his vest and threw it.
"Go! Donphan!" The trainer called out as his Donphan came on out to battle. "Donphan! Rollout!" Donphan rolls into a ball and heads right towards Shieldon.
"Shieldon! Protect!" Sora called out. Shieldon forms a protective barrier around himself and Donphan's attack bounces off.
"Donphan! Fire Fang!" The trainer ordered. Donphan ordered. Donphan came at Shieldon with its tusks emitting fire.
"Shieldon! Dodge and use Iron Head!" Sora ordered and lands an Iron Head onto the elephant Pokémon.
"Donphan! Body Press!" The trainer ordered. Donphan came at Shieldon with a full force of its body.
"Protect!" Sora ordered. Shieldon forms a protective barrier and bounces right. "Use Rock Slide!" Shieldon uses Rock Slide and lands onto Donphan. "Now, use Iron Head!" Shieldon lands an Iron Head onto Donphan and earns a knockout. The trainer calls back Donphan and takes out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Vigoroth! Go!" The trainer called out. His Vigoroth came out, swinging its arms. Sora calls back Shieldon and looked at Cranidos. The pachycephalosaurus-like Pokémon went on to battle.
"Cranidos! Headbutt!" Sora ordered. Cranidos ran to deliever a Headbutt onto the wild monkey Pokémon.
"Vigoroth! Rock Smash!" The trainer ordered. Vigoroth came at Cranidos and brought one of its claws down to smack the headbutt Pokémon. Vigoroth successfully lands a hit onto him, causing some heavy damage.
"Zen Headbutt!" Sora ordered. Cranidos lands a Zen Headbutt onto Vigoroth. "Now use Iron Head!" Cranidos moved in to land Iron Head onto Vigoroth.
"Another Rock Smash!" The trainer ordered. Vigoroth lands another Rock Smash onto Cranidos and earned a knockout. Sora calls back Cranidos.
"Rest up, Cranidos. You earned it," Sora said. He looked over to Chimchar. "Your turn now, Chimchar!"
"Chimchar," Chimchar said, entering the battle.
Unaware, Devimon, Ogremon ,Vorvomon, the Dracomon Brothers, and the BlackAgumon were watching the battle closely.
The trainer calls Vigoroth back and threw his next Pokéball.
"Your turn now!" The Pokéball opens and let's out a Mightyena.
"Chimchar! Use Flamethrower!" Sora ordered. Chimchar fires Flamethrower right at Mightyena.
"Night Daze!" The trainer ordered. Riku was stunned hear that attack. Mightyena's eyes glow and it raises its front two paws into the air. Its body then becomes surrounded in a crimson aura. It then brings its paws down to the ground and a pink and crimson forcefield of energy appears around its body and expands outwards right at the chimp Pokémon.
"Dig!" Sora ordered. Chimchar dug into the ground.
"Night Daze?" Riku questioned.
"I didn't think Mightyena could use Night Daze," Aqua said.
"They can't. Because it's not really a Mightyena," Riku said.
"Be ready," the trainer. Mightyena looks around for Chimchar to come out. Chimchar emerged from the ground.
"Use Scratch!" Sora ordered. Chimchar lands a Scratch onto Mightyena. Something unexpected happens. In Mightyena's place is a small quadrupedal Pokémon that resembles a fox cub. It has large triangular ears and a short snout with a tiny black nose, and furry whisker-like tufts of fur that protrude from either side of its face. Its eyes are Sky Blue Colored with Red Eyelids; it has Circular Red Patches above its Eyes. The Pokémon's body's covered mainly in slate-gray fur. It has a deep gray fluffy mane around its neck, and a tuft of red-tipped fur atop its head that resembles a flame. It has small red-tipped paws and feet with no visible digits, and a short fluffy gray tail. "What the?!"
"Whoa!" Everyone exclaimed.
"I never seen that Pokémon before! So cool!" Ventus said.
"What kind of Pokémon is that?" Agumon asked.
"It's a Zorua," Riku said. "I figured it was either a Zorua or a Zoroark."
"How come it looked like Mightyena?" Ventus asked.
"It was an ability called Illusion. It allows Zorua to take the appearance of a Pokémon that hasn't battled yet. Zorua and Zoroark are the only Pokémon to have those abilities. I know because I've seen plenty of those in Alola," Riku said. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned the Pokémon.
Zorua, the Tricky Fox Pokémon
Type: Dark
Zorua is a timid Pokémon. This disposition seems to be what led to the development of Zorua's ability to take on the forms of other creatures. Zorua sometimes transforms into a person and goes into cities to search for food. When Zorua does this, it usually takes on the form of a child.
Sora puts his Pokédex away and looked right at Chimchar.
"Okay, Chimchar! Flame Wheel!" Sora ordered. Chimchar rolls into a ball of fire and heads right towards the tricky fox Pokémon.
"Dodge and use Fury Swipes!" The trainer ordered. Zoura avoids Chimchar's Flame Wheel and then comes at Zorua with Fury Swipes ready to go.
"Dodge and use Flamethrower!" Sora orderded. Chimchar avoids Zorua and fires Flamethrower right at Zorua, landing a hit. Zoura takes a bad burn from the attack. "Now, use Scratch!" Chimchar moves in and scratches Zorua. The tricky fox Pokémon gets hurt from the burn.
"Zorua! Hone Claws!" The trainer ordered. Zorua's claws extends and sharpen. Zorua's attack sharpened. "Now use Fury Swipes!" Zorua came at Chimchar with another Fury Swipes and successfully landed a hit. "Fury Sipes again!"
"Chimchar! Flame Wheel!" Sora ordered. Chimchar rolls right into Zorua and is taken down. The trainer calls Zorua back as he took another Pokéball from his vest and threw it.
"Go!" Mightyena!" The trainer called out as Mightyena came out to battle. Sora calls back Chimchar and took out a look at Pikachu and he nodded.
"Okay, Pikachu! Go!" Sora said. Pikachu went on to battle.
"MIghtyena! Thunder Fang!" The trainer ordered. Mightyna comes at Pikachu with electricity.
"Dodge with Quick Attack!" Sora called out. Pikachu avoids Mightyena's Thunder Fang. "Now, use Iron Tail!" Pikachu swung his tail swung his tail right at Mightyena.
"Take Down!" The trainer ordered. Mightyena came running right at the mouse Pokémon.
"Volt Tackle!" Sora ordered. Pikachu ran towards Mightyena with electricity and they collide with one another. Both took recoil damage from the blow.
"Crunch!" The trainer ordered.
"Quick Attack!" Sora ordered.
Mightyena came right at Pikachu to land a storng bite onto him. Pikachu dodged and lands a Quick Attack.
"Thunder Fang!" The trainer ordered.
"Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered. Pikachu lands a Thunderbolt right onto Mightyena. Mightyena was taking down. He calls his Mightyena and takes another Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Pinsir!" The trainer called out and his Pinsir came out, clamping its horns. Pikachu came back to Sora's side as he looked right at Piplup.
"Piplup! Go!" Sora called out as Piplup came right in to battle.
"Pinsir! Slash!" The trainer ordered. Pinsir ran towards the penguin Pokémon with its claws ready to strike.
"Dodge and use Peck!" Sora ordered. Piplup avoided Pinsir and lands a Peck onto the stag beetle Pokémon.
"Throat Chop!" The trainer ordered. Pinsir came right at Piplup to land a hit. Piplup fell backwards and then started to evolve. Everyone was amazed by the sudden evolution. Piplup was now a Prinplup.
"Prinplup," Sora said.
"Piplup evolved into a Prinplup," Kairi said.
"Evolved or not, because your Prinplup will lose! Throat Chop again!" The trainer ordered. Pinsir comes at the newly evolved Prinplup.
"Metal Claw!" Sora ordered. Prinplup blocked with his flippers, giving off a metallic glow. "Now use Peck!" Prinplup came at Pinsir and lands a stronger Peck onto Pinsir.
"Pinsir! Use Revenge!" The trainer ordered. Pinsir's body gave off a glow of an orange aura and landed a hit onto Prinplup and earned a knockout for Sora's opponent's favor. "Excellent work, Pinsir!" Pinsir clamped its horns together again. Sora calls back his Prinplup and looked right at Turtwig.
"You're in, Turtwig!" Sora said. Turtwig nodded.
"You're in now, Cofagrigus!" The trainer called out as his Cofagrigus came out to battle. "Cofagrigus! Shadow Ball!" Cofagrigus forms a ball of shadow and threw it right at Turtwig.
"Dodge and use Bite!" Sora ordered. Turtwig avoids Shadow Ball and lands a bite onto Cofagrigus.
"A good clean solid hit!" Gatomon said.
"Bite is a Dark Type atack, so it makes sense that it will land a hit on a Ghost Type like Cofagrigus," Terra said.
"Shadow Claw!" The trainer ordered as Cofagrigus sends its shadowy hand at Turtwig.
"Dodge and use Razor Leaf!" Sora ordered. Turtwig sends out Razor Leaf and lands a hit onto Cofagrigus. "Bite!" Turtwig and heads right at Cofagrigus.
"Hex!" The trainer ordered. Cofagrigus forms Hex and sends it at Turtwig. It lands a hit onto the tiny leaf Pokémon.
"Synthesis!" Sora ordered. Turtwig gave off a yellow glow and recovered from the coffin Pokémon's attack. "Now use Razor Leaf!" Turtwig sends out Razor Leaf and lands a hit onto Cofagrigus.
"Shadow Claw!" The trainer ordered. Cofagrigus sends its shadowy hand to strike at Turtwig.
"Dodge and use Razor Leaf!" Sora ordered.Turtwig sends out Razzor Leaf and sends it right at Cofagrigus. "Now use Bite!" Turtwig lands a Bite onto Cofagrigus and sends it flying right at a tree..
"No way!" The trainer gasped as he ran up to his fallen Cofagrigus. "You okay, Cofagrigus?" His Cofagrigus nodded in response. "That's good to know." Sora went up to his opponent.
"That was a good battle. You raised your Pokémon right," Sora said.
"Thanks. And that was a great battle you gave me, Sora," the trianer said, shaking his hand.
Devimon, Ogremon, Vorvomon, the Dracomon Brothers, and the BlackAgumon were watching closely.
"So, that's how it's done. They have the Pokémon fight each other. And one of them has changed its appearence, similiar to Digivolution," Devimon said.
"So, how will we get to them?" Ogremon asked.
"Lure them into a location and launch your attack. Vorvomon and the Dracomon Brothers shall assist you," Devimon ordered.
"You can count on us, Devimon," Vorvomon said. They went on to their tasks. An Espeon and an Umbreon were watching Sora and they were impressed by Sora's skills. They looked at each other and they nodded. They came across an Electivire, a Magmotar, an Alakazam, an Ampharos, a Machamp, Mismagius, Rapidash, Tentacruel, and an Exeggutor in the area and they nodded.
The Electivire is an yellowish orange and blue eyes. The Magmotar is pink and dark pink. The Alakazam is gold and has a large chest. The Machamp is dark green. The Mismagius is yellowish green. The Exeggutor has a brownish gold body and has brown leaves. The Rapidash is cream colored and has gray flames.
The Pokémon understood as they left. They all went off to follow Sora and his friends. They are all wild Pokémon living in individual places and then, they crossed paths with one another, agreeing to find a worthy trainer. Espeon and Umbreon agreed to help them all out with that. The Pokémon found Sora and his friends and they all agreed that Sora is the trainer.
Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Riku, Naminé, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, Meowth, Azurill, and the Digimon continued on to Hearthrome City, unaware of the four evil Digimon following them. The wild Pokémon were also following them in a separate location.
"So, what's the deal with this guy?" Ogremon asked.
"Those Digimon are hanging with him and he has to be a threat like Devimon thinks he is," Vorvomon said.
"Well, he doesn't seem to be a big deal to me. But if Myotismon and Devimon wants him gone, then I'm going to deliever," Ogremon said. He readies his club. "Move in." Vorvomon and the Dracomon Brothers flew and they fired fireballs at the group.
"What the?!" Sora exclaimed.
"We meet again!" Vorvomon said. He and the Dracomon Brothers appeared right before the group.
"You again!" Kairi said.
"You know those three?" Riku asked.
"Vorvomon and the Dracomon Brothers. We met a little while ago," Ventus said.
"Petit Flame!" Vorvomon shouted, firing high temperature flame.
"Pepper Breath!" Agumon shouted as he fired a fireball to counter Vorvomon's attac
"Baby Breath!" The Dracomon Brothers fired fireballs at them.
Gabumon, "Blue Blaster!"
Tentomon, "Super Shocker!"
They fired their attacks and they blocked the two other fireballs, resulting in a small explosion. Ogremon appeared before the group. Agumon and the other Digimon gave sour looks to the ogre Digimon appearing before them.
"Ogremon!" Agumon exclaimed.
"You know this guy?" Riku asked.
"He's a troublemaker where we're from," Agumon said.
"I didn't expect to bump into you here. You got no place to go," Ogremon said. He pulls his fist back.
"Tyrant Fist!" Ogremon shouted as he sends out a dark energy from its fist, shaped like Ogremon's fist. They all ducked out of the way. Ogremon jumped to strike at the group as Agumon, Veemon, Gabumon, Biyomon, Tentomon, Armadillomon, Hawkmon, Palmon, Wormmon, and Gomamon all started to Digivolve.
"Agumon Digivolve to-" Agumon transformed into his Champion form, "Greymon!"
"Gabumon Digivolve to-" Gabumon transformed into his Champion form, "Garurumon!"
"Veemon Digivolve to-" Veemon transformed into his Champion form, "Veedramon!"
"Wormmon Digivolve to-" Wormmon transformed into his Champion form, "Stingmon!"
"Biyomon Digivolve to-" Biyomon transformed into her Champion form, "Birdramon!"
"Tentomon Digivolve to-" Tentomon transformed into his Champion form, "Kabuterimon!"
"Palmon Digivolve to-" Palmon transformed into her Champion form, "Togemon!"
"Gomamon Digivolve to-" Gomamon transformed into his Champion form," Ikkakumon!"
"Armadillomon Digivolve to-" Armadillomon transformed into his Champion form, "Ankylomon!"
"Hawlmon Digivolve to-" Hawkmon transformed into his Champion form," Aquilamon!"
Gatomon joined the other Champion level Digimon in battle.
"Out turn!" Vorvomon said as he and the Dracomon Brothers started to Digivolve.
"Vorvomon Digivolve to-" Vorvomon transformed into his Champion form, "Larvorvomon!"
"Dracomon Digivolve to-" the Dracomon Brothers transformed into their Champion forms, "Coredramon!"
"Attack!" Ogremon ordered as they attacked.
"Lightning Paw!" Gatomon shouted as she lands a punch onto Ogremon.
"Nova Blast!" Greymon shouted as he fired at Larvorvomon.
"Mighty Flame!" Lavorvomon shouted as he took a deep breath and spits out the largest fireball he can make. It blocks Greymon's attack.
Garurumon, "Howling Blaster!"
Birdramon, "Meteor Wing!"
Kabuterimon, "Electro Shocker!"
Veedramon, "V-Nova Blast!"
Aquilamon, "Blast Rings!"
Ikkakumon, "Harpoon Torpedo!"
Togemon, "Needle Spray!"
They launched their attacks onto Lavorvomon and Ogremon. The two Coredramon flew right at the kids and Pokémon.
"Pikachu! Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered.
"Angel! Swift!" Kairi ordered.
"Eevee! Shadow Ball!" Riku ordered.
They fired their attacks at the dragon-like Digimon. The Electivire, Ampharos, Magmotar, and Machamp all leapt at the Digimon, pining them down.
"An Electivire, an Ampharos, a Machamp, and a Magmotar," Ventus said.
"Where did they come from?" Naminé asked.
"Azu," Azurill chirped.
"Get off!" The green Coredramon said. Riku took out a Pokéball and tossed it.
"Incineroar! Come on out!" Riku called out as his Incineroar came out. "Fire Punch!" Incineroar lands a feiry punch onto the blue Coredramon.
Ogremon and Larvorvomon were about to attack when Tentacruel grabbed Ogremon in its tentacles.
"Hey! Let me go!" Ogremon demanded. Tentacruel gave him a throw. "Not what I meant!"
Exeggutor fires Egg Bomb at Larvorvomon as Mismagius, Alakazam, and Rapidash came in. Mismagius sends out a Night Shade as Alakazam sends out Psybeam, and Rapidash fires Inferno at Larvorvomon.
"Why you!" Larvorvomon snarled.
"Great Antler!" Greymon shouted as they charged right at Larvorvomon. Larvorvomon charges right at him as well as Espeon and Umbreon sends out Dark Pulse and Psybeam and struck Larvorvomon on the spot.
Ogremon came at Greymon with his bone club.
"Bone Mace!" Ogremon shouted, bashing Ogremon. Garurumon and Gatomon charges right at Ogremon. Devimon was watching the fight closely.
Gatomon, "Lightning Paw!"
Garurumon, "Subzero Ice Fang!"
The two Digimon lunged right at Ogremon and landed a hit. The Coredramon pushed the large Pokémon off and Sora, Kairi, and Riku took out their Pokéballs and tossed them. Turtwig, Chimchar, Prinplup, Cranidos, Shieldon, Buneary, Vaporeon, Volbeat, Illumise, Happiny, Lycanroc, Dusknoir, Lucario, and Croagunk joins in the fight. Meowth takes his claws out.
"Attack!" Sora, Kairi, and Riku all ordered.
The Pokémon joins the fight against Ogremon, Lavorvomon, and the Coredramon. Meowth uses Fury Swipes onto Ogremon's face.
"Yeow! Why you!" Ogremon snarled.
"Bring it on, Shrek!" Meowth taunted. Ogremon swung his club at Meowth. Birdramon flew and grabbed the club with her talons. She flew up in the air.
"Hey, let go!" Ogremon demanded. Birdramon lets go of the club. "NOT WHAT I MEANT EITHER!" Ogremon fell and right on the ground. Vorvomon and the Coredramon were still fighting as suddenly, a burst of dark energy is fired.
"Where did that come from?" Aqua asked.
"I don't know, but I don't think we're alone," Terra said.
"You are right to think it," a new voice spoke. They all turned to see Devimon for the first time.
"Oh no! It just can't be!" Patamon gasped.
"Who is that guy?" Kairi asked.
"He's Devimon. He's an extremely evil Digimon," Patamon said.
"And that look didn't give that away?" Riku asked.
"If you think Ogremon is bad, Devimon is even worse," Patamon said.
"Ogremon is just a bit player in this little drama of mine. And what a joy to be rid of you at last," Devimon said.
"What do you want? We didn't do a thing to you," Sora said.
"It makes very little difference to me. You're allied with the Resistance and you are my enemy. And you must be destroyed," Devimon said.
"What? What are you talking about? What do you mean Resistance?" Sora asked. Kairi turned to Patamon.
"Patamon," Kairi said. "Is there something you're not telling us?" Patamon looked at her with a sad look.
"Yeah, there is. We didn't want to tell you," Patamon sadly admitted.
"The truth has its own way of coming out, doesn't it? The truth isn't always as pleasant as it seems," Devimon said.
"What is it that you and the others weren't telling us? And how long did you think you could keep it a secret?" Aqua asked.
"Long enough," Patamon said. "The truth is, we were fighting a war in the Digital World. We came in the real world my accident. We didn't think there were other Digimon here other than us until Grizzlymon attacked."
"Why didn't you tell us?" Terra asked.
"None of us thought it was your problem because it's not your war," Patamon said.
"Your friendship was built up by trust, but they betrayed your trust by lying to you. Is that something you can forgive?" Devimon asked.
"They were trying to protect us," Sora said. Devimon raised a brow. "They didn't think we would help them if they flat out told us. Is that why you kept it to yourselves the whole time, Patamon?"
"It was," Patamon said.
"We would have helped you out anyway," Sora said. Devimon was not expecting that kind of response. "I'm not happy that you kept quiet about it, but we would have helped you guys out. I'm sure you had your reasons, but it wouldn't be right to let you go at it alone."
"Sora," Patamon could only say.
"How can you be so forgiving? They lied to you!" Devimon proclaimed.
"They just wanted us to be safe, because we are their friends. So, yeah, I forgive them for lying to us about their problems. It doesn't matter what you say or think, because you're going to lose," Sora said.
"Not if I have anything to say about it!" Devimon shouted. He extended his claw at Sora. "Touch of Evil!"
"Sora!" Kairi cried as she tried to run to Sora, but Riku stopped her. Patamon flew right into his path and dark energy emits from his claw as Patamon screams in pain.
"Patamon!" Ventus said.
"No," Aqua said.
"You got in my way!" Devimon yelled.
"To stop you! I won't let you have your way, Devimon! Not for as long as I breathe!" Patamon shouted as he began to glow. Patamon was glowing brighter than the others. Everyone was amazed by Patamon's sudden Digivolution.
"Patamon's Digivolving!" Terra said.
This gets the attention of the fighting Pokémon and Digimon as they witness it with their own eyes.
"Patamon Digivolve to-" Patamon transformed into a humanoid Digimon. He wearing white clothing and has six wings on his back. He has long blonde hair, and wore a mask over his eyes. He wore a long blue loincloth and four matching straps on his right leg and left arm attached and he is holding a staff. "Angemon!" Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Riku, Naminé, and the Pokémon were surprised by what Patamon Digivolved into.
"Patamon can turn into an angel?" Kairi asked.
"No way," Sora said in awe.
"So, you show your true self. I have to admit, I wasn't expecting this," Devimon said.
"What can you hope to accomplish, Devimon?" Angemon asked.
"So much. And more. Touch of Evil!" Devimon shouted as he reaches for Angemon.
"Angel Rod!" Angemon shouted as he twirls his staff. The staff struck Devimon's hand as they take to the sky. "Let's make this an air fight."
"I'm more than a match for you, pretty boy!" Devimon said. Mismagius joins Angemon in the fight. Mismagius fires Night Shade at the evil Digimon as Angemon flew right at Devimon. "Death Hand!" He fires dark energy right at Angemon as he blocks with his staff. Mismagius went behind Devimon. Mismagius's eyes become surrounded in multicolored energy and it fires a beam of multicolored energy from its eyes at the evil Digimon, hitting on the back. "You will pay for that! Laser Wing!" Devimon flaps his wings to fire destructive energy from them. But Machamp is thrown up and gave Devimon a punch in the face. Machamp's power then went up.
"This fight is over!" Angemon proclaimed. He takes his staff back as fist builds up energy.
"Not if I have anything to say about it! Touch of Ev-" Devimon said, almost completing his attack.
"Hand of Fate!" Angemon shouted as he fires a beam of light at Devimon, sending him flying in the air.
"You win this day, Angemon, but there will be another day! I can assure you!" Devimon stated. Devimon takes Ogremon, Lavorvomon, and the Coredramon with him. The Digimon all revert back to their Rookie forms.
"What a fight," Agumon said.
"Yeah, but Devimon said there's going to be another day," Riku said.
"Then, we're going to be ready for him," Sora said. He looked right at Agumon. "And you guys have some explaining to do."
"You're right, Sora. We do," Agumon said.
Agumon and the other Digimon explained to Sora, Kairi, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Riku, Naminé, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, Meowth, and Azurill about their war with Myotismon, who Devimon answers to. They told the about the Resitance, being led by Leomon and about the war. They were stunned how there's a Digimon that is more of a threat than Devimon. And more...
"Myotismon wants to take over the world?" Ventus asked.
"Not surprising," Meowth said.
"Myotismon decided e should be in charge of everything, so we couldn't have that," Veemon said.
"So now he has set sights in this world. He wants to rule over both worlds," Gatomon said.
"We're sorry for keeping it a secret from you, but like we said, it wasn't your problem," Agumon said.
"It is now. Because we're your friends. Besides, you know about our story with Ultra Beasts, so if there are other Digimon here, we can help with it. And if we head in the Digital World, we'll do our part to help out Leomon and your other friends," Sora said.
The Digimon were grateful for having Sora for a good friend. The same for Kairi, Riku, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Naminé, and the Pokémon.
Over to Devimon, Ogremon, Vorvomon, the Dracomon Brothers, and the BlackAgumon, they discouraged about their defeat.
"How could things have gone like this?" The first BlackAgumon asked.
"They're even better than I remember. Now that the Resistance has new allies, it will be incredibly difficult to defeat them," Devimon said.
"We'll try even harder the next time," Ogremon said.
"I know that, Ogremon. We'll call for some more of our allies here in the real world to deal with them. And hopefully, they'll do away with them," Devimon said.
Back to Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Riku, Naminé, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, Meowth, Azurill, and the Digimon, they stood before the wild Pokémon.
"Thanks a lot, guys. It was a good thing you were in the right place at the right time," Sora said.
"Espeon, Esp, Esp, Espeon," Espeon said.
"Umbre, Umbreon, Umbreon," Umbreon said.
"What are they saying, Meowth?" Ventus asked.
"They're saying that it was their pleasure. They couldn't let those guys do what they want," Meowth translated.
"Umbreon, Umbreon, breon, Umbreon, breon, breon, Umbreon, Um, Umbre, Umbreon" Umbreon said.
"Umbreon says they all have chosen you to be their trainer because they're looking for a worthy trainer," Meowth translated. Espeon, Umbreon, and the other Pokémon all nodded.
"Are you sure?" Sora asked. All of the Pokémon nodded. "I can only carry six of you at a time, so I'll be sending you to Professor Oak's lab. I have some Pokémon there, I know you'll get along with." Sora took out several Pokéballs for each one of them and threw them. Each one of them were struck by the Pokéballs and they flow inside. Stars swirls around all of the Pokéballs to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box activates, so he sent all of his newly caught Pokémon to Professor Oak's lab.
Over to Professor Oak's lab, Professor Oak was ecstatic to see several Pokéballs showing up all at once.
"My, my, what a haul. Sora has gotten himself quite a handful of Pokémon. What did he send me this time?" Professor Oak asked. The Pokéballs all open and out came Espeon, Umbreon, Electivire, Magmotar, Machamp, Mismagius, Exeggutor, Ampharos, Tentacruel, Rapidash, and Alakazam. "Mostly Shiny Pokémon, that's quite unusual, but impressive. Very impressive." Professor Oak was pleased to see a bunch of Pokémon brought on his lap since Sora and Kairi's inter dimensional adventures.
Things have gotten even more interesting since meeting the Digimon, but how will Sora and his friends be able to handle the threats of Team Galactic and Myotismon at the same time? You're gonna have to wait and see!
