Astro's eyes slowly began to open and he found himself staring at a bright light. He groaned before glancing off to the side. "Oh! You're awake!" There was a girl with red and brown hair standing at the side of his bed, setting down a tray of tea. "I figured you'd be up soon so I brought you some tea. I know it's not as good as the Jasmine Dragon's, but I did my best."

The last memories before blacking out flashed through Astro's head. The falling building, overexerting himself, fighting Paw… being pulled through the portal!

He narrowed his eyes at the girl. "Where am I?" he demanded.

She didn't seem put off by his attitude however, and just kept smiling politely at him. "This is our infirmary. When Victor pulled you through the portal you tried a spell or something and passed out. I think you over exerted yourself. But don't worry, I healed you up. My name is Roxanne by the way."

Astro thought for a moment. He did feel… better. The soreness that had ached through his body was now gone. He reached up and rubbed his shoulder. "You might regret that," he warned glaring at her. Right now he could only assume he was in enemy territory. He had no idea why they would have healed him, but he didn't really care right now.

"You know, you could have just said thank you."

He glanced over and saw another girl sitting in the corner of the room. This one had flaming green hair tied into a ponytail. "Who the hell are you?" he asked with a glare.

"Artemis. I was just put in here to shoot you if you woke up and started going nuts," she said casually, spinning her pistol around her finger. "But you didn't. So lucky you."

"Don't be too hasty. I very well might," Astro said looking around the room.

"If you're looking for your shirt it's right there," Roxanne said gesturing to the chair on the other side of the bed. He looked over and saw his shirt, hoodie, and sword lying on top of it.

Astro walked over and slid his clothes on before reaching down to his sword. He noticed the green haired one had her eyes locked on him closely, and her hand was on her weapon. She was just waiting for him to make a move. The girl who had supposedly healed him had her guard completely down though. Not a hint of killer intent in her.

He scowled. He probably could have taken them both down with minimal effort. But he had to think about his situation. He'd been knocked out for who knows how long, and was in an unfamiliar surrounding that he assumed belonged to his enemy. Even if he fought his way out of this room, there was no telling just how many enemies were waiting for him outside.

For now his best option was to keep calm and see just how deep in a hole he was in. He turned his sword into its keychain form and put it away. "Where am I? I won't ask again."

"If we don't tell you you'd kind of have to wouldn't you?" Artemis said, smirking.

And just like that, he decided he didn't like this girl. "You're in the Youngblood base. Our leader brought you here because he wanted to speak with you and your sister," Roxanne explained.

The temperature in the room instantly dropped. Astro grit his teeth. "My sister is here…?" he asked dangerously. "If any of your touched one single hair on her head I swear I'll-"

Artemis tensed up again, and Roxanne held her hands up. "Oh, no! I promise your sister isn't hurt! They were ordered to bring you in without harming you. Well, Victor technically brought you back unharmed, but he didn't actually do it to you so that's better than last time I guess."

"You better be telling the truth," Astro said angrily.

"You can see for yourself. Now that you're up we can take you to her," Roxanne said moving towards the door. "Just follow me. She'll be really happy to see you. She looked so worried when she saw you in here."

Astro looked after her, then began to follow. Artemis didn't make a move. Maybe she knew he didn't want to make a move until he knew his baby sister was safe.

He followed after Roxanne, making his way down the hall of the castle. This place… it honestly looked similar to the Butterfly castle aesthetic wise. He looked down at Roxanne who seemed to have absolutely no issue with having her back turned to him. He could have taken her out before she had a chance to even move.

But he wouldn't. Not just because he needed to make sure Nia was safe, but because this might be a chance to end this. If the leader wanted to meet with them face to face, he could take him out here and now. Maybe get a few others if he was lucky. He was sure it wouldn't completely bring down the group, but it would at least cripple them.

They'd regret healing him, and leaving him his weapon. If they thought he wasn't going to jump on a chance like this, they were even more foolish than he thought.

They reached a large pair of double doors and Roxanne pushed through them. Inside was a large treble filled with a feast fit for a king. And taking that fest in was none other than his baby sister. "Oh for stump's sake…" he said, sighing.

Nia was scarfing down the foot with a grateful smile on her face. She gulped down a mouthful of chicken before turning towards them. "Oh! Hey Roxy!" she said waving.

Roxanne waved back. "Hello Nia."

She then noticed her brother. "Oh! Astro, you're awake!"

"Yes, yes I am," he said walking over towards her. "Nia. I… uh, why are you just eating their food? You do realize the situation don't you? Did you ever consider it was poisoned?"

Nia waved him off. "No way. Roxanne ate some herself to prove it wasn't. Besides, I was hungry and it was just soooo good. She's like a master chef or something!" she said causing Roxanne to blush at the flattering words. "Especially her cupcakes! You have to try one!"

He face palmed and shook his head. "For the love of… Nia, I don't want to try-" Nia shoved a cupcake into his mouth, and he nearly choked. He coughed and got ready to yell at her, but then the taste slowly sunk in. Astro turned around and scowled before leaning one hand on the table. "God damn it…"

"You don't like it?" Roxanne asked.

"Yes, I do. It's the best cupcake I've ever had in fact." He just wished he didn't have to say that about a freaking enemy! He was supposed to be on high alert and planning his escape! Now all he could think about was how delicious this thing tasted! What made things worse was that he wanted another one!

"Really?" Roxanne asked excitedly.

The door opened again as more figures made their way in. Astro's attention immediately turned towards them as his instincts started going crazy. Three of the figures he recognized instantly, just from their demonic presence. It was the triplets. A fourth he vaguely recognized as the one who pulled him into the portal.

The Alpha team made their way inside the room, and Astro could sense danger just oozing off of them. There were a number of demons among them. The one who'd pulled him through the portal seemed like he had a few other monsters mixed in with him too. There was a redheaded girl around Nia's age who had magical power that rivaled his own.

The only two he didn't sense anything from was a girl wearing a skin tight suit, and a younger boy with metal arms. But the way they carried themselves told him they were just as dangerous. Astro scowled. This was a bad situation.

One on one Astro was fairly sure he could take most, if not all of these guys. But with them all here things were different. It'd be an uphill battle even if Nia wasn't here with him. But he'd never be able to protect her and fight them at the same time. It was clear his priority had to switch to escape. He wouldn't be taking anyone down this time around.

Nia narrowed her eyes towards Heath and Shen Mi. She had not been happy when she'd first came here. Not one bit. After they arrived they brought her to see her brother. Then here, where they gave her the wand back and told her to wait until he woke up and could meet their leader.

Before leaving she had demanded they apologize for what they'd done to AJ. They just laughed in her face and walked out. "Enjoying the meal princess?" Shen Mi asked. She blew a raspberry at her in response.

The triplets looked down at Astro. Savage and Carnage with matching smirks, and Priss with an annoyed glare. "Long time to see your highness," Savage said chuckling.

Astro's hand twitched as he fought the urge to bring out his sword and lunge at them. His instincts were telling him to cut loose and just take out as many as he could before escaping, but his head was telling him to choose the safest course of action for Nia's sake.

He let out a breath and stayed silent. That was until Victor suddenly threw his arm around his shoulder. "So, feeling better Mr. Ice King! You looked like total shit when I pulled you threw that portal!" he said, smirking at him.

Astro grit his teeth. "You have five seconds to remove your arm from my shoulder, or I'll remove it from you," he said as ice slowly crept on Victor's arm.

The monster demon hybrid just smiled. "Try it," he dared.

Astro got ready to attack, but suddenly the girl in the cat suit grabbed Victor by the ear and yanked him back. "Knock it off Victor!" she said clearly annoyed. "Cause if he snaps and starts beating your ass we ain't stopping him."

"Aw c'mon, I'm only messing with him. Lighten up prince hard ass."

Astro was very tempted to try and kill him here and now, especially if the others really weren't going to jump in to help. "Stop your nonsense Victor, that's no way to treat our guests." Both Nia and Astro turned and saw yet another figure entering the room.

The older of the royal sibling's eyes widened when he saw who it was. "Drake?!" he said in disbelief. "What in the world are you doing here?!" Nia looked back and forth between the two. Did her brother know this guy?

Drake smirked towards him. "You have my sincerest apologies, my young friend. I hadn't meant to bring either of you in such a manner. But with the Vanguard around you now I had to jump on the nearest opportunity."

"You're the leader of the youngblood?" Astro asked, glaring at him.

"That I am. And again, I must apologize. I had no intention of deceiving you. I genuinely thought you were just a fellow tea lover back at the jasmine dragon. Had I known your true identity I would have arranged a much sooner, formal meeting. But I do hope this last minute fest is to your liking. I was told the young princess had a liking for Earth's food, so I had a number of dishes prepared. "

Astro opened his mouth, but Nia suddenly gave a thumbs up. "Yep! Everything was totally delicious!" she said happily. Astro scowled. Did she not realize the seriousness of this situation?

"I'm glad you enjoyed it. Roxanne made a good portion of it herself. She has quite a talent in the kitchen," Drake said as Roxanne smiled at the compliments. It meant a lot that two royals thought so highly of her cooking.

Astro grit his teeth. He couldn't believe it. The first person who he'd met in this dimension he thought was a good person turned out to be the leader of his enemies. He couldn't say he felt betrayed. He didn't know Drake all that well. But he was usually better at reading people than that. "You bastard…"

"Please Astro, let's not resort to childish name calling. Have a seat so we can talk. I can have some tea served if you-"

Astro waved his hand and froze all the food on the table solid. It shattered apart as he glared across at Drake. "Your hospitality is unwarranted and unwanted…"

Roxanne frowned. "Ah, I spent all morning making that…"

"I wanted it…" Nia muttered.

"You really are a total tightass huh?" Victor said snickering.

Drake sighed. "It's understandable why you would be upset my young friend. But please don't act rashly. You must realize the situation you're in. As skilled as you are even you wouldn't last against these odds. Especially with no means of escape," he said pulling out Astro's dimensional scissors. "Forgive me, but I had to assure you'd at the very least listen to what I had to say."

Astro was growing more irritated by the second. He wasn't used to being on the losing end of a situation. Usually he was the one who held all the cards, but Drake was two steps ahead of him right now. He didn't like it. "Fine, speak."

Drake smiled. "To put it simply, we believe your talents would be better put to use in our ranks rather than the Vanguard," he explained.

"No way!" Nia said standing up. "You must be totally nuts! You can't honestly think we'd want to side with the bad guys?"

"Let me ask you little one, what makes you so sure we're the true villains?" Drake asked. "You have been in this dimension for a short time, and you've yet to see it's true nature. War, chaos, madness. It runs rampant here on Earth. The ones you call heroes wish to keep things as they are. While we seek to control and put an end to it."

Astro snorted. "That's your justification? Taking control by force makes you no better than a tyrant," he said crossing his arms.

"Didn't your people take control back on Mewni?" Alisha asked with a smirk. "They used that same wand your little sister is holding now didn't they?"

Nia frowned at the girl. "Yes, the Butterflies did grab power and put themselves into rule, and that's a mistake our family still hasn't made up for," Astro said. "This dimension is wild, unruly, and chaotic. But for better or worse the people here need to choose to do better. Not be forced too. Otherwise it's just pointless."

Drake drowned, and Victor rolled his eyes. "Here we go with the heroic speech…"

"Think carefully about this Astro. Think of the resources we could provide one another. The benefits to your kingdom. The power we could offer. We could even teach young Nia here how to better control her immense magical power."

"I don't want to learn anything from you," Nia said, crossing her arms. "I can get stronger all on my own thank you very much."

Astro smiled proudly at his little sister, while Shen Mi sneered. The brat could barely control her own power, and she was talking about getting stronger. What a joke.

"You heard my little sister. We have no intention of siding with you. Simple at that," he said before reaching out his hand. The others looked at him confused. "All Seeing Eye…" A green circle of magic suddenly appeared above his palm. The others all looked ready to strike as he smirked. "What's wrong? You all seem so on edge?"

Drake frowned at him. "This bluff is pointless Astro. There's no possible way you could defeat all of us, and your only means of escape is firm in my grasps."

"That's true. But I'm not the only one who brought a pair of scissors to Earth, am I?" he asked before the circle suddenly formed into a large eye. It blinked a few times before suddenly showing an image of Vera. She was standing around a computer along with Kingsley, Hank, and Cayenne. "Vera!" They all turned around and saw a large magical eye floating behind them.

"Whoa?!" Hank said, shocked.

"The fuck is that?!" Cayenne cursed.

Vera grew wide eyed. "Astro?! Nia?!"

"You're scissors Vera, now!" Astro yelled. The demon princesses looked confused for a moment, but then quickly pulled out her scissors. She swung them down opening up a portal, a portal which opened up right in front of Astro and Nia.

"Shit!" Savage yelled.

"Sneaky bastard!" Carnage shouted.

"Stop them!" Drake ordered.

Savage and Carnage charged in, but Astro raised up his sword and summoned an ice wall in front of them. "Go Nia!" he yelled. Victor fired a bandage at the girl to try and stop her, but Astro moved in front of her. It wrapped around his arm, but he froze it and cracked it apart.

"What about you?!" Nia asked worried.

"I'll follow you, just go!"

Heath shot two beams towards the siblings, and Astro deflected one while Nia turned her wand into a shield and blocked the other. It was quickly followed up by Shen Mi who summoned up a huge ball of green flames before hurling it at them. Astro scowled and held his hand towards Nia. A large blue bubble suddenly formed around her.

He flicked his finger and the bubble went shooting towards the portal, taking Nia with it. "Vera, close the portal now!" he ordered as he made a dome of water over himself, holding back the green flames.

Nia was shoved out of the other side and hit the ground hard. She immediately rolled back up to her feet and ran right back towards the portal. "Astro!"

"Close it now Vera!"

"Don't! I'm coming back to help!"

"Damn it Vera, close the goddamn portal!"

Vera looked nervous. She knew she couldn't let Nia go back into danger, but she also knew she couldn't just leave Astro to die either. Astro growled before suddenly swinging his sword. He cut the portal clean in half, then closed the All Seeing Eye.

Nia grew wide eyed as the portal vanished just before she could reach it. She fell forward and then turned to Vera. "Open! Open it back up! We have to go help him!"

"I-I can't," Vera said nervously. "You know I have to know the place to make a portal in the same dimension. I could only make that one because I could see the room through the eye."

"Well just imagine the room again and make another one!" Nia demanded.

"I can't!"

Nia balled her fist up. Her brother… her brother was fighting the Youngblood all by himself. She knew he was strong, but could he really do that all by himself?

Meanwhile back at the Youngblood base, Astro stood completely surrounded by all of the group's top members. He had his sword slung over his shoulder as he glared at Drake. The leader of the Alliance glared back at him. "That was a grave mistake, my young friend…"

The others all took aim towards Astro, but he didn't take his eyes off Drake. "Maybe, but it was mine to make," he said, cracking his neck. He then held up Ocean's Kiss and got into a fighting stance. "Now, who's first?"
