"Good work everyone," Delta said looking over her team. Despite the minor setback they had performed well above her expectations. She had been worried that they might let their nerves get to them once they ran into the children, but they kept it together well.

Robert smiled confidently. "Well, it was a pretty simple task. Even with those two brats getting in the way," he said before looking down at Sear. The dragon had been tied down and muzzled, but his piercing yellow eyes were locked onto him. "She really wanted to rescue this overgrown gecko didn't she?"

Lifen, who had been looking over the wand spared a glance at the dragon. "Shame we have to deliver him so soon. I'd have loved the chance to study him in the lab. A species from another dimension doesn't exactly come along often," she said before reaching down and plucking a scale off of him. Sear growled and shook in his restraints. "This will have to do."

Adam pulled his mask down and looked down at it worried. "I kind of feel sorry for it. It looked like it was already in pretty bad shape when we found him." He knew it was part of the mission, but he couldn't help but feel a twinge of sympathy for the dragon.

Zuri hummed. "Yeah. When I checked the footage he was running around digging through garbage. Been on the run for weeks far as I can tell," she explained. "So what do you think they even want this thing for? Some freaky experiment? Or maybe Chase just wants a pet dragon or something. Totally seems like his style."

Anthony kept his eyes locked on Sear. He had seen just how resilient and stubborn the dragon was, and while they had taken extra precaution to keep him restrained, he didn't want to take any chances. "Maybe they want to study him. He's a fierce creature after all."

Delta hummed. "I'm not really sure. But whatever it is really isn't our concern. We should just meet up with Drake and bring it in as soon as possible. The Vanguard are sentimental. It's likely they'll send members after us even to save a mere pet," she said. She then glanced over towards the wand Lifen was holding.

She… sort of wanted to hold it. The leader in her told her it was best left in Lifen's hands, where she could find a way to weaponize or harness its power. But the anime nerd in her really wanted the chance to hold a magical wand…

Before she could think about it any further, her communicator went off. It was probably Drake checking on their status. She knew he would get a bit fidgety since this order was directly from his father. She couldn't really blame him. Her father could be overbearing, but Chase was downright unsettling. She reached up and answered it. "Hello?"

"Delta."

"Drake."

Zuri grew a mischievously smile on her face. "Ooh, somebody called to check on their boo," she muttered. Robert snickered beside her until Delta shot them both a glare.

"I was simply calling to check and make sure that everything had proceeded smoothly. Do you have the target?"

"Yes. Despite a run in with the princess and one of her little friends The target was captured rather easily and we're en route to the meeting point. We should be there in roughly twelve minutes," she said.

"Excellent work. We'll be ready to deliver the target to my father the moment you touch down. The rest of your team may head back to base if they so choose. They've more than earned the rest of the night off."

Before she could respond, the ship suddenly began to shake. Delta stumbled to the side but managed to balance herself by grabbing a nearby seat. The others all looked shocked and confused. Was the plane hitting turbulence or something?

The sound of thunder caused Adam to jump. He turned and glanced out of the window and saw that the sky had turned black. He could see lightning lighting up the sky. "Uh-oh…" He did not like the idea of flying through a thunderstorm.

"What's going on?" Drake asked.

Delta narrowed her eyes. "It's just a bit of bad weather. We should still be-" The ship shook once more, this time much more violently.

"Oh hell no!" Zuri said clutching the side of her seat in panic.

Delta stumbled back once more and bumped into the wall. She glared before making her way towards the cockpit and opening the door. "What's going on?!" she snapped. "You can't fly us through a simple thunderstorm?!"

The pilot looked like he was struggling to keep control. "It's not just the storm! Something is attacking us!" the pilot said. "It's not a ship either! It's too small to pick up on radar!"

"Maneuver us around! I want to see what-"

A loud noise followed by even more shaking sent everyone inside the ship tumbling. "We just lost a wing!" the pilot screamed in panic. "I-I can't keep us up! We're going to crash!"

"WHAT?!" Adam yelled.

The ship began to descend, and everyone braced themselves for a crash landing. Everyone screamed in panic as the pilot pulled up, doing the best he could to get them to the ground in one piece. The plane slammed against the ground and slid forward, the other wing getting knocked off by a nearby tree.

After sliding for what seemed like an eternity, the ship finally came to a stop. The pilot panted and hung his head, while Delta turned back towards the others. "Is everyone okay?" she asked, looking worried.

"Define okay…" Robert said, rubbing his head.

Adam and Zuri were both clutching onto their seats in panic. Neither one of them had ever thought anything like this was going to happen. "Never again…" Adam muttered fearfully.

Lifen shook her head and then looked down at the Sear, who was letting out a low growl. "The target is still in one piece too," she said before getting up and rubbing her arm. It wasn't seriously injured, just a little sore. "What knocked us down?"

A loud bang was heard against the cargo door, and Anthony quickly loaded and aimed his crossbow. "I think we're about to find out," he said, narrowing his eyes.

Everyone got up and looked towards the cargo door. Or rather where it used to be. It had been torn right off its hinges in an instant. They saw a figure stepping up onto the ship. Delta was shocked to see who it was. The princess… or at least she thought it was. She looked different.

"Dang. Homegirl really doesn't know when to quit," Zuri said.

Delta stepped forward. "I admit. I'm impressed you managed to catch up to us. Even more so you somehow downed the plane. But if you think this will change anything then-"

Nia ignored her and lifted her finger, pointing it at Lifen. The girl grew wide eyed as the princess suddenly shot a blast of wind at her. Robert quickly transformed and threw himself over his teammate. The both of them were blasted back, getting knocked right through the side of the plan. Robert tumbled against the ground, making sure to keep his arms wrapped tightly around her. He groaned and shook his head. "You okay?"

"I've been better…" Lifen admitted. The two of them started to get up, when suddenly Nia appeared behind them. Lifen gasped. "Watch out!"

Robert turned just as Nia was about to fire off another blast, but suddenly an arrow came flying towards her. Nia moved back and dodged it before turning towards Anthony. He and the others were making their way out of the plane, preparing for another fight.

While she was turned away, Robert tried to grab the girl from behind. But as he closed his arms, it was as if something was stopping him. The air around her swirled like a bubble, keeping him from laying a hand on her. "What the-?!" He was blasted back and sent crashing through a tree.

Nia held her hand out, and suddenly the wand came flying from Lifen's jacket. The princess caught it and it glowed brightly before turning into a rapier. She swished it through the air and then pointed it towards them. "The dragon, now."

Delta frowned and stepped forward. "You're hardly in a situation to-"

Before she could finish Nia zipped forward. In the blink of an eye she was in front of Delta, and thrust her sword at the older girl. Delta reacted quickly and blocked the strike with her lance. "I wasn't asking," Nia said with a stone like expression.

Delta narrowed her eyes. This… this was not the same girl from earlier. She might have looked similar, but everything else about her had changed. "Who are you?"

"Titania." She flicked her sword and sent Delta flying back, and the others were barely able to keep their footing. "But it doesn't really matter to you anymore, does it?"

Delta huffed. "And here I was told your brother was the more arrogant of the two. You don't honestly think you can fight all of us do you?" she asked.

"It won't be much of a fight I'm afraid," Titania said before rushing at her. Delta charged back at her, and the two of them began clashing. Unlike last time the princess managed to parry each attack, and even managed to strike back a few times.

As they scuffled, Anthony took the chance to fire while she was distracted. Delta smirked and jumped back, and Titania easily swatted the arrow away with her sword. The tip of the arrow suddenly started spraying out a green gas however, and Titania was caught right in the middle of it. "Overconfidence doesn't suit you," Anthony said.

The cloud began to disappear however. Titania had breathed in every last bit of the gas, and didn't even look phased. "It's not overconfidence if it's justified," she said pointing at him. Anthony braced himself for another blast of wind, but was shocked when a bolt of lightning came flying down, nearly striking him.

"Whoa!" Adam shouted and panicked. "She couldn't do that before!"

"Oh this ain't good…" Zuri said backing up.

Delta growled before rushing back at her, but Titania lifted her sword. A massive tornado formed around her, spreading outwards. Delta slid to a stop. "Take cover!" she shouted before planting her lance into the ground to anchor herself.

The others all prepared themselves as they were swept up in the hurricane. Robert grabbed both Lifen and Zuri and shielded them with his body, while Adam and wrapped a few vines around a nearby tree, as well as Anthony.

When the attack finally died down, Delta was panting. Because of her armor she had managed to withstand the attack, but she wasn't so sure about the others. She looked over to check on the rest of her team. Robert groaned as she shrunk back down to his human form. Zuri and Lifen both sat up and checked on him. "Are you okay?" Zuri asked worriedly.

"I just need a few minutes…" he said rubbing his head. As sturdy as he was in that form, between dealing with Sear earlier and tanking that attack, he was a little out of it.

Adam and Anthony had both been blown back a little further. Adam sat up and rubbed his head as Anthony pushed himself up to his feet. "This isn't good," the alien prince said glaring towards the princess. She still wore an expressionless look on her face as she kept her sword raised in the air. "If she uses something like that again I'm not sure we'll be able to stand it…"

Delta lifted her lance back up. "Everyone, grab the target and fall back. I'll deal with her," she said as she headed towards Titania. The other all looked worried. They knew Delta was strong, but they didn't really feel right just leaving her here to fight on her own.

Titania began moving her sword around. She looked like she was going to fire off another attack, when suddenly a figure just seemed to just appear to her. Everyone jumped at the sudden intrusion. Even the blonde seemed surprised at the sudden appearance. But it was probably due to who it was.

Alexander Xanatos stood next to her as sharply dressed as always. Nobody had seen any sign of him coming. He just seemed to pop up there. "You've made quite the mess little cousin. Oberon is sure to have sensed you now. We need to go."

Titania glared towards him angrily. "I'm not going-"

Alexander poked the girl on the forehead, and just like that her eyes went blank. He caught her as she fell over and lifted her into his arms. "I'm not entirely sure what's going on here, but we'll be taking our leave now," he said looking towards Delta and the others.

Delta kept her grip on her weapon. This person… he looked familiar. A look of realization soon appeared in her eyes. "Alexander Xanatos…" One of the richest men on the planet. What was he doing here? How did he get here?

He smiled. "My reputation precedes me I see. As much as I'd like to stay and chat, I really do need to get going. Family emergency you see." And just like that, he was gone. Everyone stood in silence for a few moments, trying to process what had just happened. Adam finally said something. "I… I need tea…" he said, sounding utterly exhausted. "Like right now…"

"What the hell just happened! What was with the princess?! Who was that guy?!" Robert asked looking around. He was new here, but he felt like he should have been given a heads up about… well, anything about what had happened!

Delta sighed. "I have no idea…" she said, shaking her head. Nothing about that was in any of the reports she had read through. She had a feeling this didn't bode well though. "Lifen, is the target still secure?"

The girl looked back inside of the ship and saw that Sear was still tied down. The dragon looked even more agitated than before. She wasn't sure if it was because of the crash or everything that had happened after. "Yeah."

"Then let's be on our way. Zuri, contact Drake and tell him we need a pick up. We can sort all of this out later. For now we have a mission to complete…"
