Hody glared down at Scylla, who had fallen back in a pool of her own blood. Grunted before looking down at his sister, who had her teeth grit in pain. His face softened as he saw her clutching her arm. "Maria, your arm…"

She shook her head. "I'm fine. It's not broken. Just dislocated," she said. She had honestly been expecting much worse, but Scylla had seemed to be thrown off with her sudden appearance.

Hody frowned. She certainly didn't look fine. He knew how her magical ability worked. Siren's Screech was a very powerful move, particularly because it didn't matter how tough or strong someone's defenses were. If she could get in close enough with her sonar, she could do big damage.

But the downside was that it came with a lot of recoil. It gave quite a bit of pain to Maria as well, and if she pushed it two hard she'd end up knocking herself out.

He made a mental note to scold her later for doing something so reckless later. He was willing to admit she had saved him, and honestly gave him the opening to finish the fight. But he still didn't like her throwing herself in danger like she had. Right now however he had something else to deal with.

He looked up towards Gadfly with a glare. He was still holding Topaz with his tail, but he seemed to have loosened his grip. "Put her down you overgrown bug!" he said pointing his trident at her. "Unless you want to end up like her."

Gadfly hummed as he looked at the two. "You tough guy, you really should take you eyes off someone in the middle of a fight," he said pointing.

Hody looked at him confused, and was about to demand once more that he drop Topaz, but then he saw something from the corner of his eyes. Both he and Maria went wide eyed as Scylla sat up, an annoyed look on her face. "So there was another one of you, huh?" she asked, looking at Maria. "Fine by me. That just means I get to have even more fun ending the family line…"

Maria looked like she was about to try and use her ability again, but Hody place a hand on her shoulder to stop her. He could tell she had put everything she had into that last one. She was already at her limit. If she tried it again she would end up doing some serious damage to herself. "Don't, I can handle the rest from here." She was injured, and with only three of her arms left he should have been able to take care of her.

Scylla huffed and then raised what was left of her shoulder. "You jerk. You got blood all over my clothes. I'm gonna have to find some new ones and change," she said before narrowing her eyes. Hody and Maria watched as her shoulder seemed to heal itself, and suddenly her missing arms grew right back.

"What the hell?!"

That was impossible! He thought only septarians and earth nymphs could regenerate like that! Scylla rolled her arms back, like she was trying to adjust putting on a new pair of shoes. "That's a pretty interesting magical ability you have there. I think I'll take it."

Before either of the Kelpbottom siblings could react, she jumped forward in front of Maria. The princess tried to raise her hands and defend herself, but then felt a powerful piercing pain shoot through her head. Hody winced. He could feel the sonar wave from here. It was far more powerful than anything his sister had been able to use. Maria's eyes rolled back, and she fell to the ground, unconscious.

"MARIA!"

Hody rushed over towards his sister, but Scylla turned around and sent another sonar wave towards him. Hody grunted in pain and grabbed his head, stumbling back. "Oh yeah, I like this ability," Scylla said. "There's a little knockback to it, but it's pretty handy. Not a bad first draw for my arsenal."

[Scylla's Magical Ability, Mimic: She can copy almost any magical ability she sees. She can only hold up to eight, and has to give up another to take on new ones. The full power of the magical ability depends on her affinity for the magic.]

Scylla continued sending sonar waves at Hody, who was clutching his head in agony. "I think taking you out with your own sister's ability is pretty sweet, right?" she asked.

Topaz looked furious, and was struggling to pry Gadfly's tail away. The male titan looked amused. "Wow, that one really has you whipped huh?" He seriously had no idea why a fire nymph gave two shits whether a Kelpbottom lived or died. But he honestly didn't care. "Look fireball, you really need to… what the?"

Gadfly looked down and then saw something biting down against his ankle. Snapper growled as he kept chomping away at the young monster. "The hell is this?" he asked, lifting his leg up. He wasn't familiar with the undersea life of mewni, so he'd never seen one of these things before. "Wait, are you attacking me? Brave little shit, aren't you?"

Topaz quickly made use of the distraction, swinging Star Inferno towards his head while he wasn't looking. Gadfly noticed at the last second and moved his head aside, but the grip of his tail loosed. In that moment, she used Flicker again, vanishing from beside him. She appeared behind Scylla, yelling as she swung Star Inferno at her head.

"GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM THEM!"

Scylla looked over her shoulder. "Alright, you're seriously starting to piss me off now." She reached up and caught Star Inferno in her hand. Topaz tried to pull her weapon back, but Scylla's grip was ironclad. "Seriously, what are you doing here? Is he like your owner or something? You got no reason to fight for this jerk."

"He's my escort, not that it's any of your fucking business," Topaz said glaring.

"Escort? That doesn't make any… uh, you know what, I don't care." She was about to send a sonar wave towards her, but before she could Hody charged at her and tackled her. He knocked them both into the moat around the courtyard, sending them into the water.

Topaz looked down after them, and then smirked. "Nice thinking big boy." He was way stronger and faster when he was in the water. Not to mention his magic could be used at its fullest there.

"Well, he just fucked up." Topaz looked back at Gadfly, who was smirking. "If he thought he was gonna be able to have a shot in the water, he's in for a nasty surprise."

Underneath the water, Hody pushed Scylla deeper and deeper down into the water, increasing the density of the water around them. The moat didn't have a bottom, it led right into the ocean. So if he kept pushing her further down, eventually the pressure would be too much for either of them to bear.

"Are you stupid?" Scylla asked. Hody ignored her, and kept on swimming deeper and deeper. "You actually brought us to the water? You really don't get it do you?"

Scylla's arms grabbed Hody by his shoulder and head, and then turned the both of them around. She was now the one pushing him deeper down into the water, and she was moving at a rather stunning speed. "What the-?!"

"Did you think you could crush me with the pressure or something?" she asked, smirking down at him. "That's actually kind of adorable. But I'm game. Let's see who'll break under the pressure first." She moved even faster, and Hody could feel the pressure around him increasing at a drastic rate. Was she using his one magic against him. He raised his fist and swung at her, but she caught it with another of her arms.

"Hang on your highness, we're going for a ride…"

Topaz yelled as she swung at Gadfly, who easily dodged Star Inferno. "So like, are you a warrior for hire or something?" he asked. She swung again, but his tail moved in front of him and stopped it dead in his tracks. "Or just like his side piece or whatever? Because I know some royals were into that."

The fire nymph glared at him. "Do you ever shut up?" she asked annoyed.

"Nope." Gadfly's tail lashed out, sending Topaz stumbling back. Snapper barked and rushed at Gadfly from behind, and the titan chuckled. "Forgot about you…" Snapper leapt at him, teeth bared and ready to bite down on him, but Gadfly's tail whipped out once more and struck him.

Topaz gasped as the shark pup was sent flying across the courtyard, bouncing off the ground and into the wall. "I was never a big animal guy myself. Aside from Orthrus, they all sort of piss me off," he said before turning back to Topaz. "Listen fireball, you really don't have to do this. We got no problem with you. We only came to deal with the royals. You just happened to be here."

"Yeah, I was here. And that's where you fucked up. Nobody screws with my friends without dealing with me!" She wasn't going to be able to use Flicker for much longer. She was already pushing it as it was. She had to try and finish this now. She brought Star Inferno back and then twisted the handle.

The mace suddenly grew, the fiery spikes around it blazing far hotter than before. Gadfly whistled when he saw the weapon. "Damn, the toys we had were shit compared to what you guys got now," he said with a laugh.

"Keep laughing fly boy. Cause I'm about to swat your ass into the ground."

"Flattering, but I have a girlfriend… I think."

Topaz rolled her eyes. She brought the weapon back and got ready to swing, and Gadfly just stood there and smirked. There was no way he was gonna be able to hit him with that thing. She packed a punch, for someone who wasn't a titan anyway, but she was much too slow to actually land a hit.

She ran in, and about halfway towards him she used Flicker, appearing behind him. He scoffed, his tail already lashed out and ready to strike. "Too obvious…" Topaz suddenly vanished again, this time appearing above. Gadfly looked up and glared, raising his hand up to punch at her.

But then Topaz vanished yet again. This time she was in front of him, already in mid swing. He was looking up, and she was in his blind spot. Even if he could teleport or something, there was no way he'd be able to react in time. Right as she was about strike him, he seemed to just vanish into thin air once more.

The force of the swing sent Topaz stumbling forward, a look of confusion on her face. How in the hell did he dodge that?! He couldn't have seen it coming. "You're way too slow, fireball. I'm already five steps ahead of you." Topaz didn't even have time to turn around before she was struck in the back of the neck.

She winced as she felt a sharp pain, and then fell forward onto her knees. Her body began to start feeling numb. "What did you just…?"

"Relax, it's just a little something to settle you down," Gadfly said from behind her. "You should count yourself lucky Scylla is down there offering your fishy little boy toy. She probably would have killed you both." They may have called him the mad one, but when it came to the waterfolk Scylla was way more violent than he ever was.

As if on cue, Scylla came shooting out of the water, landing on the ground with a smile on her face. "Well, that's one loose end that's officially tied!" she said happily. "Man, I wish things had been this easy back then!"

Gadfly made his way over towards her, wrapping his arms around the girl. "Well, you look happy as shit. I'm guessing showing up and wrecking everyone's collective shit put you in a good mood?" he asked.

She hugged him back and nodded. "Sure has. You should have seen the look on his dumb face. He actually thought he was gonna beat me in the water."

Topaz looked worried. "Hey! Where the hell is Hody?!" she shouted angrily.

Scylla turned towards her and smirked. "Hopefully fish food by now," she said before looking over towards Maria. She was still out cold, and she was tempted to make her way over and finish the job. But… she honestly didn't think it was worth the effort. She looked one foot in the grave anyway, and if she did survive, then she'd come back and kill her. "Are you ready to get going?"

Gadfly grunted and picked her up. "Ready when you are," he said before turning towards Topaz. "Well, we're out. Catch you next time. Hopefully you'll smarten up by then and keep some better company. Otherwise we may not pull our punches."

With that, the two of them took off. Topaz looked after them, gritting her teeth in both anger and pain. She tried to get back up to her feet, but her body still felt numb. "God damn it…" she muttered.

"Princess Maria!"

Topaz glanced up and saw more guards making their way towards them. They rushed towards Maria, and a few of them made their way towards Topaz. "Are you al-?!"

"I'm fine! Go get Hody!" she said pointing towards the water. "He's down there somewhere! I think he's injured!"

The guards shared a look, and then quickly began running over towards the water. Topaz sighed, and one of the guards knelt down next to her. "Ms. Topaz, we should bring you to the infirmary too. You don't look well," he said.

"I don't need to go to the infirmary, I need a mirror, like right now!" She didn't know what the hell was going on, but she got the feeling something big was happening, and she needed to get in contact with the others as soon as possible.

Scylla looked down at her fist as she and Gadfly moved through the air. She had gotten two pretty handy abilities, and gotten to beat down the royal family. The shark toothed one probably wasn't going to make it back to the surface. She had beaten him down pretty badly and with how far down she had taken him to the ocean he probably couldn't even move in that state.

The girl wasn't really any threat. Her magical ability was strong, but she wasn't a warrior. Even if she did survive, she wasn't going to be any real threat. The royal family was pretty much finished, and after they all gathered back together and Python gave them the green light she'd go back and destroy the rest of the kingdom.

"You have fun?" Gadfly asked.

Scylla smiled. "Sure did. And I'm gonna have a hell of a lot more once we get the go ahead from Python to go on the attack," she said. "Are you looking forward to starting up some more of the Gadfly games?"

Gadfly nodded, and then grew an angry look on his face. "Yeah, and making those pieces of shit pay for what they did to pops," he said, not even trying to hide his rage.

Scylla hummed. "Yeah…" She had been trying not to think about it too much, but Gadfly… well, he couldn't let it go that easily. It wasn't as if she and Typhon were ever that close. She honestly spent more time bickering with him than anything. But he was still one of them. Still family. And they were going to make him pay for what they did to him. And everyone else.

"We're gonna make every last one of them pay…"

They hoped the rest of mewni was ready, because they were just getting started.

Hody struggled to stay conscious as he floated in the water. His whole body hurt, and even with him using his ability to lighten the water pressure around him, it was a strain. Scylla had more than kept increasing it to an insane degree around him, and with him having a broken arm and probably a few broken ribs, even trying to move hurt.

He growled as he forced himself upwards. He was not about to die here. He was the strongest warrior of the waterfolk, the most superior race in mewni. Him dying underwater from water pressure was far too ridiculous and ironic a death for him.

But more importantly than that, he had to get back up so he could help Topaz and Maria. He wasn't about to let that monster lay another hand on either of them. He would get back up there and finish the fight even if it killed him.

"Hody?"

The prince turned his head and then looked over, spotting a familiar figure making its way towards him.
