Chapter 1

Bo-Katan watched in both fear and anger as her leader and friend Pre Vizla fought against maul for the rule of Mandalore. Her whole world was at stake here, he who won would become rightful ruler of mandalore. Not only that but she worried for Vizla's life, she had grown fond of him and cared deeply for the great warrior.

In the blink of an eye however maul had disarmed Vizla! The sith used the force to retrieve the darksaber and ignited it"Its like you said. Only the strongest shall rule" vizla spoke, clearly prepared to die his warriors death. And in one devastating blow maul decapitated Vizla with the darksaber, defeating him and claiming his victory, now ruler of mandalore. "I take this sword and claim my place as leader of death watch!" Maul stated, his voice full of rage and triumph, raising the blade above his head.

Bo-Katan couldn't believe her eyes, a tear rolled down her face, she didn't know what she was feeling, sadness? Fear? Regret? Anger? Maybe all of it. She looked up at maul with eyes of fury.

"You will never take mandalore!" She screamed.

She drew her blasters and began to fire at maul, had he not been a sith he would have definitely been caught off guard and perished there and then, alas no he was a sith. He blocked all of her shots before using the force to snatch the blasters from her hands before crushing them with the force, demonstrating his power once more.

Maul put his hand out in front of him and bo-katan felt herself moving towards him against her will, then suddenly found her neck to be in his clasp.

She struggled for air in his tight grip, looking around for help from one of her warrior brothers, but they just stood there. Just watched as their once friend suffered at the hands of maul.

"You are going to regret that young one, soon you will learn your place!" Spoke maul, anger and rage in his voice. She was thrown back to the ground where she stood as she shot him. "Strip her of all weapons, cuff her, and take her to a cell. I'll deal with her in due course" he said with authority.

Her vision was blurred and her breathing heavy, but she saw two mandalorians step towards her and did as maul commanded, they picked her up by her arms and dragged her to captivity.
