The next week of Luna's life was as strange nad taxing as the previous week had been, and the week before. Her life had been turned upside down and what she had always considered normal was out the window. She tried her best to maintain some semblance of normalcy but it was becoming increasingly impossible as her stomach continued to grow. None of her clothes covered her swelling baby bump and just going up and down the stairs was enough to exhaust her. The cravings came and went, and by now, the thought of cooked meat made her nauseous. It had to be raw or nothing. Cooked veggies and stuff were still okay but not meat. Her stomach grew in fits and spurts, never very much, but just enough to be noticable and to weigh her down even more than she already was.
A couple times a day, her nipples would begin to lactate. She'd be sitting on the couch with her feet up and her shirt would suddenly be soaked. She had to changed frequently and sometimes leaked through all of shirts in a single afternoon. It was miserable and she was growing to hate her stupid life.
Almost as bad as the lactation was the fact that she was always hot. With all the added weight, she was perpetually on fire. Sweat trickled from every pore every time she moved and her skin was always hot to the touch, as if with fever. She talked to Lisa and Lisa's supposition was that Luna's metabolism was working overtime, thus causing her to eat more (and burn more calories).
Speaking of Lisa, Lisa was always snooping around, asking questions, taking notes, and bothering her. She asked Luna about her "movements and activities" over the past several months, and Luna went through them three or four times before clamming up and refusing to do it anymore. "There's nothing," Luna snapped, getting mad. "I don't know how this happened."
Lisa straight out asked if she was pregnant and Luna denied it, but she felt stupid doing so. Luckily, Lisa didn't press the matter, though she did run a bunch of tests on her. She claimed that there was an abundance of the pregnancy hormone in Luna's system, but that nothing showed up on the ultrasound Luna had reluctantly allowed her to take. Luna knew nothing would show up, which is why she agreed to it, and Lisa was baffled.
During this time, Luna started to have erotic nightmares about tenetqacles, at least she thought they were tentacles. She barely remembered them on waking but seemed to recall that in them, she was both aroused and terrified.
One day, she got dressed and went downstairs, only for Lori to come behind. "You left a trail," Lori said.
Luna had dripped milk the whole way, leaving little dark spots on the carpet from her bed to the couch. Half an hour later, as she was sitting on the couch, Lana came in holding a bowl of dry cereal, which she thrust out toward Luna like Oliver Twist asking for more gruel. "We're out of milk," Lana said.
"What do you want me to do about it?" Luna asked.
The little grease monkey darted her eyes to Luna's breasts.
"Oh, no," Luna said, "you're not having any."
"Why not?" Lana asked.
"Because it's gross!" Luna cried.
"Please?"
Luna pointed to the dining room and Lana shuffled off with her head down.
Two days later, Mom sat on the couch beside her and put her hand on Luna's knee. "I think you should go to the mall and pick out some maternity clothes," she said.
"But I'm not -"
"Regardless," Mom said, cutting her off, "you've outgrown everything else and need something that fits you." Her eyes went to Luna's stomach, then away. Lisa had doublessly shared her ultrasound findings with her and Dad so as far as they were concerned, she was not pregnant. She was, however, She didn't know how or why, but she was pregnant no matter what the ultrasounds said.
"I don't want to wear maternity clothes," Luna said. "I like my old clothes."
"Trust me," Mom said, "maternity clothes are the only thing that's going to fir you now."
Even though she didn't want to, Luna agreed. The next day, she took the bus to the mall, Leni tagging along because she loved anything having to do with fashion and clothes. On the ride, Leni sat across the aisle from Luna because Luna took up two seats and bobbed her head. "Shopping, shopping," she sang, "I love to shop. Shopping is fun. Luna's gonna have a son."
"I'm not pregnant," Luna snapped.
Everyone turned to look at her funny. She might as well have said, "I'm not a white girl with short brown hair."
At the mall, Luna and Leni walked around, going from store to store. Luna's back and feet both started to ache and she moved with the lumbering slowness of Frankensiten's Monster. "Are you okay?" Leni worried. "Do you want to sit down?"
"Kind of," Luna said. "But I really want to eat."
They went to the food court abd sat down. Leni went to one of the restaurants, coming back a few minutes later with a cheesesteak for Luna and a salad for herself. The meat was cooked and Luna's stomach turned but she was so hungry that she ate it anyway.
Done, they went back to shopping. They stopped at Babies are Us and even though the aisles were wide, Luna had trouble getting through them. She tried on a dozen outfits but none of them fit. In fact, they were all tighter across her stomach than her normal clothes. At one point, Luna's bladder randomly gave out and she peed in her underwear. She ran to the bathroom, stripped them off, and left them in the tampon receptacle on the wall. Her skirt was damp and she scrubbed it with wet paper towels.
Back in the store, she tried on a few more dresses. She and Leni discovered that she was too big for the largest sizes, so Luna just decided to just stick with her old clothes. They had stretched out to the point that they were at least semi comfortable even if they didn't particularly fit her.
A couple times while they were shopping, Luna looked over her shoulder to find two men dressed in black suits and sunglasses following her and Leni. She didn't think much of it at first, but the third time, she started to get scared. They were always ten to fifteen feet back, always staring straight ahead. Maybe she was just being paranoid.
She hoped.
They stopped by the food court again on their way out and had second lunch. Luna was hot, achy, and covered in pee and wanted to go home a long time ago but Leni insisted that they take their time.
When they were finally finished, they went home, and Luna took a nap. When she woke up, her stomach was even bigger than before. She got up and went to the window, opening the curtain. A strange black car was parked at the curb, and though she couldn't be 100 percent sure, she thought the guys from the mall were inside.
All during this time, Lisa had been keeping detailed notes on her observations of Luna.'s condition. She made a point to follow her throughout her day and chart everything that Luna went through.
9-29: Subject 1006 is experiencing lactation and discomfort this morning. Despite what my equipment tells me, I am certain that she must be pregnant. Of course, there exists the possibility that she was pregnant but lost the child. Her body simply hasn't caught up to that fact and is proceeding through the natural course of pregnancy. I am not sure that that is the case, but ut is the only logical conclusion.
10-1: This evening whilst sitting on the couch with Luna and pretending that I was engrossed in another poop study, I observed Luna's stomach moving. I noted what seemed to be three tiny hands pressing against it from the inside, only I hesitate to call them hands. They were blunted and slightly rounded. Like tentacles.
10-3: I am sure of it now. There's no doubt in my mind that Luna is pregnant. She must either be lying about not engaging in sexual activity with a male or this is the first genuine case of virgin pregnancy on record, not counting Christ, as it happened so long ago that there is no way to prove or disprove it. I don't know how this happened or why but I have a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach.
The same day as the last entry, Luna, now so big that it looked like she was pregnant with three sets of octuplets, tried to take a shower and got stuck. Naked and wet, her stomach covering her crotch, she cried for help. After fifteen minutes, Lincoln and Lana came to her rescue. They had to bathe her in vaseline, wedged sheets of cardboard between her and the slick shower walls, and pull her by the arms with all her might. She started to lactate during the ordeal and Lincoln was torn between appreciating her corpulent form and worrying about her. If this went on much longer, she'd probably burst.
Literally.
The next day, Sam came over and they sat on the couch. Everyone else was out and about enjoying the warm early autumn afternoon and Sam started to give Luna a belly rub. She moved her hands over Luna's stomach in a wide, soft circle. The light kiss of Sam's palm against Luna's stomach turned Luna on, and grabbing Sam's face in both hands, she pulled her lips to hers and began to kiss her. Sam's tongue swirled around Luna's and her hand squirmed its way under Luna's massive tummy. She found Luna's pussy and began to massage it. Luna was extra wet, some of the moisture no doubt because of her pregnancy, and her juices gushed over Sam's hand. Sam inserted her fingers into Luna's opening and expertly grazed Luna's clit.
Luna broke from Sam's lips and Sam kissed her neck, then started to suck her tits. Milk flowed into Sam's mouth and Sam gargled it.
Luna's orgasm welled up from her middle and hit her like a ton of bricks and she arched her back, humping Sam's hand. When it was over, they cuddled, and Luna found herself telling Sam about the nightmares she had been having lately and about her suspicions of being followed. "Sounds to me like your hormones are playing tricks on you."
Hm, Luna wasn't sure, but she would rather believe that than that she was being followed. She decided not to worry about it and to simply enjoy the moment with her girl.
That night, as Luna slept, odd, multicolored lights filled the dark sky above Royal Woods. Red, green, blue, yellow, and white flashed from one side of town to the other, dazzling those who were awake to see them. About half an hour after they faded, a large, dark aircraft was sighted by several motorists passing over the forest south of town. No one knew what it was, but a lot of people had only one thought.
Aliens.
The next morning, Saturday, Luna woke to rapid movement in her stomach. She lay there, waiting for it to stop, and smiled to herself. As strange as all this was, it was pretty cool to feel the life inside of her. She laid her hand on her stomach and the baby within prodded it through her skin. "Good morning," she said, "you woke mommy up."
Mommy.
That word made her feel weird and good all at once. She had never thought of herself as a mother but isn't that what she was? She had been so busy dealing with everything that she hadn't really slowed down to think about things yet.
When the movement ceased, she struggled out of bed, got dressed, and went downstairs. Everyone was at the table talking about the eerie lights that had appeared in the sky the previous night. A memory stirred in the back of Luna's mind and for a second, she was on the edge of a great revelation. Lights…night…dream.
Why did that sound so familiar?
Next to her, Lincoln went white and looked at Lisa, who kept her composure but could not keep a look of recognition from creeping into her eyes.
After breakfast, Luna left to meet Sam at the park. Lincoln asked to tag along, and Luna reluctantly let him. He was worried about her and had done a lot to help her out lately. She kind of owed it to him.
The day was warm and bright, and the park was alive with activity, people walking, flying kites, playing sports, and enjoying life. Seeing them reminded Luna that her mobility was declining. She used to love going for walks and being active, but now she could barely waddle. By now, she was more stomach and boobs than girl. And speaking of boobs, she was openly leaking milk, the front of her shirt getting wet and damp.
This was awful.
She said as much to Lincoln, and he offered her an encouraging smile. "It'll be over soon," he said.
"It'll never be over," she said pessimistically.
Sam had come up while they were talking, and she and Lincoln tried to cheer her up. "On the bright side," Sam said, "you have your own drum."
She started to slap a drum beat on Luna's stomach and Linxoln joined in. Luna laughed. "That tickles."
"I don't want to work," Sam sang, "I just want to bang on the drums all day."
Luna laughed again and joined them.
Later, Luna said, "I feel better,. Thanks, guys."
"No problem," Sam said.
"That's what we're here for," Lincoln added.
"I owe you one. In fact, I'm gonna get you guys ice cream to thank you."
"You don't have to," Sam said.
"I want to," Luina said.
"How about we go instead?" Lincoln asked.
Getting to her feet, Luna waved him off. "I'll do it."
Leaving them alone, she made her way to the ice cream stand on the other side of the park. En route, her stomach began to move, and powerful bursts of agony burst within her. She clutched her stomach and bent slightly at the waist, her breathing coming in sharp, hot gasps. The pain struck at regular intervals. It was like a giant fist was crushing her, then letting her go, crushing her, letting her go. A man in green shorts and a green shirt with a patch on the chest came over. A park ranger, Luna thought. "Do you need some help, ma'am?" he asked.
Puffing, Luna nodded. "I think I'm going into labor."
The ranger nodded, took her by the arm, and led her away. "Wait," she said, "my brother and my girlfriend."
"You can talk to them later," he said.
Suddenly, Luna was scared.
She didn't think he was a park ranger at all.
Another spasm of pain hit her, and Luna passed out.
