Episode 468: Pokémon: Half-Shell Heroes Part 1
An hour has passed since rescuing Axew from a Durant colony and catching a Durant and a vegetarian Heatmor, so Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and Axew continue on towards Iccirus City for Sora's next Gym battle and Kairi's next Contest. Just then, a trainer came looking for a challenge.
"Hey, I know you. You're the trainer who came in second at the Clubsplosion Tournament. I challenged the trainer who came in first place and I lost, so I came looking for you," the trainer said. Sora knew he was talking about Riku.
"I could use a warmup before my Gym battle," Sora said. "How do you wanna do it?"
"Let's make it a triple battle. That's how I challenged that silver-haired trainer," the trainer said. He took out three Pokéballs and threw them. "Go! Liepard, Golett, and Pawniard!" A Liepard, a Golett, and a Pawniard came out to battle. Sora took out three of his Pokéballs and threw them.
"Go! Pansage, Pansear, and Panpour!" Sora called out. Pansage, Pansear, and Panpour came right out to battle the three Pokémon. "Wanna make the first move?"
"Gladly. Liepard! Use Shadow Claw on Pansage! Golett! Focus Punch on Pansear! Pawniard! Use Metal Claw in Panpour!" The trainer ordered. Liepard, Golett, and Pawniard came at their opponents with their attacks ready to go.
"Pansage! Bullet Seed on Liepard! Pansear! Fire Punch on Pawniard! Panpur! Ice Punch on Golett!" Sora ordered. Pansage fires Bullet Seed at Liepard, Pansear lands a Fire Punch in Pawniard, and Panpour lands an Ice Punch onto Golett. All three opposing Pokémon had taken some damage. "Pansage! Vine Whip on Golett!" Pansage lands a Vine Whip onto the golem-like Pokémon.
"Pawniard! Dark Pulse! Golett! Shadow Ball! Liepard! Use Iron Tail!" The trainer ordered. His three Pokémon all got struck by their attacks. "Pawniard! Use Metal Claw!" Pawniard swipes at the three monkey Pokémon with Metal Claw. "Finish them off!" The three Pokémon were about to finish them off, but they quickly dodged their attacks.
"Pansage! Solar Beam! Pansear! Use Flamethrower! Panpour! Hydro Pump!" Sora ordered. Pansear, Pansage, and Panpour all fired their attacks and struck them hard. "Fire Punch and Ice Punch!" Panpour and Pansear lands a punch onto Golett and Pawniard. Pawniard and Golett had been knocked out. "Pansage! Use Seed Bomb!" Pansage fired Seed Bomb right at Liepard, resulting in a knockout.
"Wha?! I lost?!" The trainer exclaimed in shock. He fell on his knees when he called them back.
"What was that about?" Sora asked.
"Look, I just thought I was looking for an easy win, and I got whooped bad by the second place trainer in the Clubsplosion," the trainer said. "I've been doing that for a while. I challenged him and his Throh, and every time I try, I got whooped bad. And facing you and him was no different."
"What will you do now?" Sora asked.
"Just try again. I'm just going to train hard until I get it," the trainer said.
"Good luck, man," Sora said.
"Thanks," the trainer said, taking his leave. Sora looked at the three monkey Pokémon and smiled.
"You guys were awesome," Sora said. Karen walked up to them.
"I'll say," Karen added. "It looks like Pansear, Pansage, and Panpour look ready to evolve."
"I think you're right," Sora said, taking out a Leaf Stone, a Fire Stone, and a Water Stone. "Here guys!" Pansage, Pansear, and Panpour all jumped and started to evolve. Pansage became a Simisage, Pansear became a Simisear, and Panpour is now a Simipour. They all high-fived each other.
Back in New York, the Ninja Turtles, Splinter, and Casey all arrived to the TCRI building.
"Here it is. This is where April and Irma are being held," Leo said.
"So, let's bust in and crack some skulls!" Raph said.
"Wait. Shredder may be setting some traps inside. We must proceed carefully," Splinter said.
Unaware, the Ninja Turtles are being video taped by the security camera. The Foot ninjas are watching inside.
"Mistress Karai, the turtles has arrived," the Foot ninja reported.
"Allow them to enter," Karai ordered. "Give them some entertainment first."
"As you command," the Foot ninja replied.
The turtles, Splinter, and Casey infiltrated the building, but they found that there are robots patrolling every inch of the building.
"Splinter did say they won't make it easy for us," Raph said.
"Okay, ninja stealth," Leo said.
The Ninja Turtles, Splinter, and Casey went into stealth mode throughout the building, but it didn't take long until they were found out. A swarm of bipedal, chicken-shaped robots came swarming out. They all have large bulbous head nearly the size of their body, with sharp jaws.
"Mousers! I freaking hate these things!" Raph said, stabbing a couple of them with his sais. Leo slices them with his katanas as Mikey swung his nunchucks at them, and Donnie swings his bo staff. Splinter stabs them with his walking stick as Casey swings his baseball bats at them.
"Goongala!" Casey shouted, swinging his bats. The Mousers were being trashed as they progressed even further. They came across several Foot ninjas and they fought them off as they came.
"My sons, go and rescue April and Irma. Casey and I will handle them," Splinter instructed.
"Right," Leo said.
The Ninja Turtles went to find April and Irma. They reached a room where Karai is waiting for them.
"Glad you could accept my invitation," Karai said.
"Where are April and Irma?" Leo asked.
"They are safe... for now," Karai answered.
"They better be okay!" Raph said.
"Of course," Karai said, presenting April and Irma to them, unaware that they are robot duplicates. "Now, the crystal half."
"Okay, Donnie. Hand them the half of the crystal," Leo said. Donnie went to hand Karai the crystal half.
"You turtles know how to follow instructions. Take them and go... before I change my mind," Karai said. The turtles went to the robot duplicates, only to find that they were robots. The robots fire lasers from their eyes.
"Robots! They're robots!" Mikey exclaimed.
"Should have known it was too easy," Raph said.
"These are Stockman's latest creations. They'll be sure to finish the job, turtles," Karai said. The robots kept on firing at them.
"Some plan, genius!" Raph said with sarcasm.
"How could we have been duped so easily?" Donnie asked.
"Worry about that later! Right now, we have got to disable those robot fakers!" Leo said.
"We better hurry up, because we won't last much longer!" Mikey said. The robots kept on firing their lasers at them as they get behind a metal desk.
"Any plans, Donnie?" Leo asked.
"I might be able to reprogram them by using my T-phone, but they have to still be intact!" Donnie said.
"In other words, don't break them too bad," Leo said.
"I'm more worried about them breaking us like breadsticks!" Mikey said.
"Who's going to draw their fire?" Raph asked.
"Leave it to me, dudes. I can get this," Mikey said. He jumped right from his hiding spot as the robots fired at the orange-clad turtle. "Hey fake April and fake Irma! Come and get me!" The robots kept on firing and firing. "The real April is so much sexier than you are!" The robots kept on firing.
"Mikey's doing a good job for a change," Raph said.
"And that's actually a good thing," Donnie said. He got to work on reprogramming the robots as they kept on firing.
"Hey, come on! Raph can shoot better than you!" Mikey taunted.
"Mikey, you better not be making fun of me!" Raph called out to Mikey.
"Let it go, Raph. Let Mikey do his thing," Leo said. Mikey kept on going, but the robots cuts his path.
"Uh-oh," Mikey said.
"Donnie, hurry up. He's not going to last much longer," Raph said.
"I'm going as fast as I can," Donnie said. He kept up the hacking as fast as he could. He manages to reprogramming the robots and made them docile. "Done." The robots ceased fire as Casey and Splinter came to the turtles.
"Is April okay?" Casey asked with concern.
"April isn't here," Leo said.
"It has got to be a wild goose chase," Raph said.
"They must have faked the kidnapping just to get us here," Leo said.
"We should call April's place just to make sure," Casey suggested.
"Good idea. Let's try her home phone," Leo said.
"I'll do it! I'll do it!" Mikey said, dialing April's home phone.
Over in April's apartment, the phone rings until April's answering machine activates.
"Hello, this is April. Sorry that I can't get to the phone right now, so leave a message after the beep, and I'll get back to you later," April's recording said. The machine beeps.
"Hey, this is Mikey. Just checking if Shredder kidnapped you and Irma, so if you weren't kidnapped by Shredder, then pick up right now," Mikey said as he started to wait. Raph grabbed the T-phone and broke contact.
"She's been kidnapped. Karai would never joke about that," Raph said.
"Raph's right. Shredder is never big of making idle threats," Donnie said.
"So, where do we start looking?" Mikey asked.
"I can have a look at the memory circuits in the robots, and maybe we can pinpoint the exact location of the Technodrome," Donnie said.
"At this point, I'm willing to try anything," Casey said. Donnie does his thing to learn the location of the Technodrome.
"Okay, I got it! The coordinates are set. The good news is Shredder and Kraang don't know that we're onto them," Donnie said.
"The bad news is they'll kill April and Irma unless we get a move on now," Raph said.
"Right, let's go," Leo said.
"We must be careful," Splinter said.
The Ninja Turtles, Splinter, and Casey went off to find the Technodrome.
Speaking of the Technodrome, Karai has delivered the Crystal half to the Shredder.
"Father, my mission was a success," Karai said.
"Good work, Karai. Once again, you have made your father proud," Shredder said. Karai beamed at her father's praise.
Back in Unova, Sora exchanged Simisage, Simisear, Simpour, and Leavanny for Servine, Pignite, Dewott, and Deino as he called them out for dinner. They join Pikachu, Angel, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, Herdier, Sawsbuck, Swanna, Whimsicott, Lilligant, Vullabye, Axew, Iris's Deino, Druddigon, Pansage, Ferroseed, and Amoongus for dinner before they head for bed. The meal was personally prepared by Cilan.
"Bon appétit. I'm sure this will meet your liking," Cilan said.
"It certainly will, Cilan," Karen said.
The group happily ate the food Cilan had made as did the Pokémon. Once the meal had concluded, they went off to bed to get some sleep.
"Ah, that was a good meal," Sora said.
"Didn't your mom say something about having nightmares eating like that?" Kairi asked.
"Well, we can always do some star gazing until we fall right to sleep," Sora said, putting his arm around her. Kairi smiled.
"I would like that," Kairi said. She gave Sora a kiss on the cheek as the rest all fell right to sleep. Sora and Kairi were the only one awake. "Star gazing before we sleep was a good idea, Sora."
"It sure was," Sora agreed. "Just glad you're enjoying it."
"I was wondering if we could wake up early and watch the sunrise tomorrow?" Kairi asked. Sora smiled affectionately.
"Sure thing, Kairi. And maybe we could watch the sunset, too," Sora said. Kairi smiled as she gave Sora a kiss on the lips. Sora kisses her right back as they wrapped their arms around each other. They broke the kiss and held each other lovingly right until they fell asleep.
Back to the Technodrome, Kraang was given the crystal half as he attempts to rejoin the two halves.
"Must get the crystal together and use it to power up the Technodrome and begin the invasion of Earth," Kraang said. The energy was building up. "Those cursed turtles. They have no idea what danger they have presented."
Outside the Technodrome, the Ninja Turtles, Splinter, and Casey have arrived at the Technodrome.
"There it is. The Technodrome," Casey said.
"Okay, we'll have to sneak right in and take them," Raph said.
"We could do that, and have every member of the Foot come after us with alien laser guns, and let the Shredder finish us off," Leo said.
"We must proceed with absolute care. We cannot risk the lives of April and Irma," Splinter said.
They climbed up the Technodrome to find a way in. Leo uses one of his katanas to slice an entrance inside and they slip in.
"Okay, remember, Kraang has this place rigged with alarms. One false move and we're turtle soup," Leo said. "That goes especially to you, Mikey."
"You sound like I'm going to mess up, Leo," Mikey said.
"That's because you do mess up more than anyone I know," Raph said.
At another part of the Technodrome, a humanoid house fly is preparing some mutagen and some of Mousers.
"Baxter Stockman," Karai said. The humanoid fly responded. "How is the mutagen coming along?"
"Nicely, Mistress Karai. With the mutagen, we can build Shredder's mutant army," Stockman said.
"It better work this time, or else I'll rip off both your wings, bug," Karai threatened. Stockman didn't question her and got to work at once.
Elsewhere in the Technodrome, they searched for any signs of April and Irma.
"Okay, to remind you, don't touch anything," Leo said.
"I know, Leo," Raph said in an annoyed tone.
"I was talking to Mikey," Leo said.
"Dude, can't you cut me a break even once?" Mikey asked. He stepped on a panel, making an alarm go off.
"MIKEY!" Leo, Raph, Donnie, and Casey all said.
"Michaelangelo!" Splinter added.
"I didn't do it!" Mikey exclaimed.
Security cameras activates and the turtles, rat, and vigilante are on the monitors.
"The turtles!" Shredder growled.
"They must have gotten pass security!" Kraang said. Shredder activates the speakers.
"Kill them!" Shredder ordered.
Dozens of Foot ninjas stormed down to kill the Ninja Turtles. They took out their weapons and got ready to throw down.
"One of them knows where April and Irma are, so don't knock them all out!" Leo said.
"I don't think that's going to be a problem, Leo," Mikey said.
The fight goes on as Casey knocks out one with a hockey stick as he gave another a punch in the face. Splinter gave them some beatings and swung his walking stick at them. The Foot ninjas took out some laser guns and started to fire at them.
"Lasers! They got lasers!" Donnie shouted. Leo took out some shurikens and threw them right at the alien weapons, destroying them. "Is there no honor among ninjas anymore?"
"Honor's been lost on them for many centuries, Donnie," Leo said.
"We must continue the fight. We cannot allow them to slow us down," Splinter said.
"Right, master," Leo said. He swung his blades as he overpowered the sword-weilding ninjas. He gave one a kick. Leo points his sword at him. "Now, start talking. Where are April O'Neil and Irma Langinstein?"
"You'll have to kill me, freak!" The ninja barked.
"I repeat: where are April O'Neil and Irma Langinstein?" Leo demanded.
"I will never betray the Shredder to the likes of you, turtle!" The Foot ninja replied.
"Last chance," Leo said.
"Never!" The Foot ninja said. Just then, a shuriken is thrown at his back, killing him. It turns out to be Karai who threw it.
"Karai," Leo said, tightening his grip.
"Follow if you can, reptiles," Karai said. She backs up as the Ninja Turtles, Splinter, and Casey approached. They entered a lab with April and Irma tied to a couple of chairs.
"Guys!" April called out.
"April, Irma!" The turtles responded.
"April!" Casey called out.
"Keep her busy. You deal with Karai," Splinter said.
"Right," Leo said. They all lunged at the kunoichi with his swords. Naturally, Karai blocked the attack as the rest went to aid their brother.
Splinter and Casey went to rescue April and Irma when Bebop and Rocksteady came around.
"We don't like rats in the Technodrome," Bebop said. "So, I'll have to ring your neck!"
"You are welcome to try, swine," Splinter said, swinging his walking stick.
"Was that a pig joke? Not funny," Bebop said.
"Hey, horn-head! Come and get me!" Casey dared the mutant rhino.
"I'm going to crush that stupid hockey mask along with your head!" Rocksteady said, charging at Casey.
"Goongala!" Casey shouted as he struck his head with a golf club. Rocksteady goes flying. "Should have yelled 'fore' instead."
"Casey," April said. He went to April and Irma. He took out his pocket knife and used it to cut the restraints.
"Glad you came along," April said.
"Too bad you won't be going anywhere," Bebop said, heading towards him. Splinter gave him a kick on the side.
The turtles continued the fight. Karai took out a smoke bomb and tossed it down. It creates a cloud of black smoke. The smoke cleared to see Karai gone.
"She's gone," Mikey said.
"Go after her!" Leo ordered.
The other turtles agreed and set off to find Karai.
"Wait!" Splinter called out.
"Let them go, Splinter. They know what they're doing," Casey said.
"That is why I am worried," Splinter said.
In Kraang's lab, he activated a laser to merge the crystal back together. The energy starts to build up.
"Got to this delicately," Kraang said. Shredder walks in.
"How soon will it be repaired?" Shredder asked.
"It will never be done if you keep pestering me, Shredder. If I make one careless mistake, then we will all perish," Kraang said. He proceeds to work on repairing the crystal.
The turtles eventually finds Karai and continued the fight. She swings her swords around as Leo blocked with his own swords.
"You will not survive against me, Leonardo," Karai said.
"So you keep saying, and I'm still kicking," Leo said, holding his own. The fight raged on as they reached Kraang's lab. Shredder growls under his mask.
"Turtles!" Shredder growled. He readies his gauntlets and heads right towards the turtles. Raph uses his sais to stop his blade gauntlets and swings him down, but Shredder gets back up and have him a kick. "You freaks have stood in my way for the last time."
"You keep repeating yourself, Shredder. And time and time again, you underestimate us," Leo said, pointing his katana at him.
"So, once and for all, we're going to take you down," Donnie said.
"This is the final confrontation," Raph said.
"Agreed," Shredder said. He came right at Donnie as he swung his bo, but Shredder ducks his head and he gave the purple-clad turtle an uppercut. He gave Mikey a low sweep when Mikey came swinging his nunchucks. Shredder grabs one of Mikey's nunchucks and used it to tie Leo's arm. Raph came at Shredder as he gave the red-clad turtle a punch in the face. Shredder then came at Raph with his blades ready, but Leo jumped and gave Shredder a kick on the side. Mikey saw Kraang trying to get the crystal back together. He took out a shuriken.
"Time to put it to pieces," Mikey said, preparing to throw it. Donnie sees Mikey throwing the shuriken at the crystal.
"Mikey, no!" Donnie exclaimed.
The shuriken makes contact with the crystal, shattering it into pieces. Kraang was dismayed.
"You fool! What have you done?!" Kraang exclaimed.
"Just kept it out of your slimy tentacles," Mikey said.
"Mikey, the idea was to get the crystal, not shatter it into a million pieces! You've killed us all!" Donnie exclaimed.
"Oops," Mikey said weakly. Energy from the crystal was going off.
"She's gonna blow!" Raph yelled.
"If I may die, then you shall all die with me," Shredder said.
A burst of light erupts from the crystal. It spreads throughout the entire Technodrome as everyone and everything inside were engulfed by the light; even Splinter, April, Casey, and Irma were caught in the blast. The Technodrome vanishes in the light.
In the Unova region, the Technodrome has reappeared as the heroes and villains were sent into different places. The Technodrome ends up deep in Twist Mountain as the turtles and Splinter ends up in the forest as April, Casey, and Irma ends up in the town nearby.
In the Technodrome, alarms were going off all around.
"Computer, status report," Kraang demanded.
Temporal anomaly detected. Current position unknown.Kraang growled has his robot arm slammed the console.
"Curse those turtles! They ruined my plan!" Kraang hissed. Karai wakes up to find Shredder unconscious.
"Father," Karai said. She went to help her father on his feet. He wakes up.
"What happened?" Shredder asked.
"We ended up in a different dimension," Kraang said.
"What? How is this possible?" Shredder asked.
"The energy from the crystal is what is behind this. The crystal was destroyed and it somehow opened up a wormhole into space and time, allowing us to come across the dimension," Kraang surmised.
"Send us back," Shredder demanded.
"Easier said than done, because that burst of energy has drained most of our power supply, so we will need to find an alternate source of power to get the dimensional teleporters back online," Kraang said.
"Then we shall find it," Shredder said.
Over to the town, April, Casey, and Irma were unconscious, and they were found by a some people and carried off to the hospital.
Over to the Ninja Turtles and Splinter, they were out cold as well. Mikey was dazed as he regained consciousness.
"Anyone get the license plate of the truck that ran us over?" Mikey asked in a dazed. He loses consciousness again.
On the very next morning, the sun was close to rising as the couple woke up early and went to witness the sunrise together as they promised.
"I have to say, it's a pretty sunrise," Sora said, putting his arm around Kairi.
"It sure is," Kairi agreed, placing her head on his shoulder.
"I'm so glad you thought of this, Kairi," Sora said. "Because I got to see it with you." Kairi beamed as she gave her boyfriend a kiss on the cheek.
Over to the Ninja Turtles, they woke up to see that they're in an unfamiliar surrounding.
"Where are we?" Raph asked.
"It looks like we're in some kind of forest," Donnie said.
"Well, it's not Yellowstone Natural Park," Raph said.
"Does that mean, we don't get to see Yogi Bear here?" Mikey asked, earning a smack in the head from Raph.
"That's Jellostone Natural Park, numnuts!" Raph said. "And Yogi Bear's a freaking cartoon!"
"How did we get all the way out here when we were just in the Technodrome?" Leo asked.
"That explosion we were in must have transported us in another dimension; more accurately, an alternate earth," Donnie said. "That must explain how we're also alive."
"You sure we didn't end up going back in time?" Mikey asked.
"I don't know, but we can't be certain," Donnie said.
"Whatever the case, we need answers. Our only chance is that we locate the Technodrome and use it to teleport us back to our own world and soon," Splinter said. A Pidove lands on Mikey's head. Mikey's heart melts.
"Aw, look at the cute little pigeon," Mikey cooed as the Pidove pecks in Mikey's head, making him scream. "Not so nice pigeon!" The Pidove flies up and uses Gust on the youngest Ninja Turtle. "You're not so cute, little birdy!"
The Pidove flew off in the opposite direction.
"Okay, they don't have pigeons like that in New York," Leo said.
"I could have sworn there was something familiar about that particular pigeon. Just can't put my finger on it," Donnie said.
"You can figure that out later, because we have a Technodrome to find," Raph said. Raph then thought of something. "Wait a minute, of Splinter's here, then what about April, Casey, and Irma?"
"I'm afraid we were caught in the blast as well, my sons," Splinter said. "I suspect that they are in the same situation as us and our enemies."
"Okay, we'll find April, Casey, and Irma first. Then find the Technodrome," Leo said. Splinter's ears perk up.
"Someone is coming," Splinter said.
The Ninja Turtles and Splinter all hid in the flora to avoid detection. It was a trainer walking down the path.
"I know there's a Pokémon here to catch somewhere. Just gotta keep my eyes open," the trainer said. A Patrat came on out. "Hey, a Patrat! My lucky day!" He took out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go get em, Timburr!" The Pokéball opens and a Timburr came on out. "Use Pound!" Timburr came at Parat as it came at the muscular Pokémon with a Tackle. Timburr lands a hit onto the scout Pokémon. "Okay, now use Dynamic Punch!" Timburr lands a punch onto Patrat. He took out a Pokéball and threw it at Patrat. It flows inside and wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. "Yes! I have my own Patrat!" The Ninja Turtles all remembered what they were told about Pokémon, and they had to see how capturing a Pokémon would work. They waited for the trainer to leave.
"Alternate dimension confirmed," Leo said.
"I knew there was something familiar," Donnie said.
"Where are we?" Leo asked.
"You remember Sora and Kairi back in Earthland?" Donnie asked. His brothers all looked him. "Okay, stupid question. It turns out that we're in the world of Pokémon that we were told about, after our Ultra Wormhole incident, and we ended up in Earthland after we got through another one. This must be in the world of Pokémon."
"Does that mean Sora and Kairi could be here?" Mikey asked.
"Possibly, but it could a world parallel to their own. Bart came from that alternate reality," Donnie said.
"You mean if there could be another world where we exist, then there could be an alternate world with Pokémon, just like that Bart kid from way back," Leo said.
"I believe you have shared your experience in inter dimensional travel before," Splinter said.
"Yes, father," Leo said. "As much as we can take a stroll down memory lane, we're on a mission."
"Right, find April and Irma," Donnie said.
"And Casey," Raph added.
"Hey, I wonder what the pizza in this world tastes like," Mikey said.
"Mikey, focus," Leo said.
The mutants went to find their human friends and then find the Technodrome. Over to the town, April wakes up in a hospital.
"Where am I? Casey? Irma?" April called out.
"Over here, April," Irma said. She turned to see Irma and Casey. "Don't eat the hospital food. It's not as tasty as it looks."
"Where are we?" April asked.
"Just as clueless as you are," Casey said.
"That's an understatement," Irma said. Casey glared at her.
"Okay, we'll just find a phone and see if we can call the guys. Maybe they brought us here when no one was looking," April said.
"If they did, shouldn't they have come to check on us?" Irma asked.
"You're right, Irma," April said. "We could try the T-phones." She tried to find hers. "I can't find mine." Irma tried to find hers.
"Me neither," Irma said.
"We got jacked," Casey said.
Meanwhile in Team Shadow HQ, Mateus sat in his desk, doing some paperwork as he sensed some kind of disturbance. Suddenly, a Team Shadow peon walked in.
"Master Mateus! We detected a strange energy reading in the Unova region!" The Team Shadow peon reported.
"Where in the Unova region?" Mateus asked.
"We picked it up in Twist Mountain," the Team Shadow peon reported.
"Send a team up there to investigate. Report it if something turns up," Mateus said.
"As you command, sir," the Team Shadow peon said, taking his leave. Once he was gone Matues stood up.
"Xande!" Matues called. Xande appeared before him.
"You summoned me, your majesty?" Xande asked.
"I felt some kind of disturbance," Mateus said.
"I as well, sire," Xande said. "I suspect something not of this world."
"I have come to that assumption, Xande. I have ordered my Team Shadow forces to look into it," Matues said.
Meanwhile back with the group, Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, and Iris continued with their training. Sora's Deino sparred with Thor as Vullabye sparred with Ferroseed. During the training, Sora's Deino evolved into a green Zweilous.
"That was good, Thor," Terra said. "You helped Deino evolve."
"Pikachu," Thor said.
"Think that's enough for right now, Sora?" Terra asked.
"We might as well take a break. Team Plasma and Team Shadow won't pull any punches with us when we come across them," Sora said.
In a nearby town, members of Team Plasma had stolen some Pokémon from trainers, but they hit the turtles' radar.
"Looks like we got bad guys to fight," Leo said.
"Good, I could some practice when we're taking on the Foot," Raph said.
Donnie drops a smoke bomb, making it explode. The Team Plasma grunts were at a dissary when smoke surrounds them.
"What's going on?" One of the grunts asked. Raph grabs one of them from behind as Donnie smacks a couple with his bo staff. Mikey swings his nunchucks and jumped on one of them. Leo gave a couple a kick and an uppercut. A few grunts took out a couple of Pokéballs, but they threw some shurikens at their hands. The leading grunt was shocked to what he was seeing. "W-W-What the hell are you?!" Raph gave him a punch in the gut.
"Your worse nightmare," Raph said.
A few minutes later, the Team Plasma grunts were tied up and the Pokéballs they stole were right beside them when the police arrived. It also drew in a crowd. A sign is left behind that reads "Book 'em Dude".
"What happened here?" A police officer asked.
"I don't know, but the chief's going to be happy that we have apprehended some Team Plasma grunts," Officer Jenny said.
Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and Axew had all just arrived in town and saw what had happened.
"What happened here?" Sora asked.
"Some guys just came and attacked these Team Plasma guys," a man said.
Officer Jenny took a look at a shuriken and examined it.
"Ninjas," Officer Jenny said.
Sora wondered who it was that had come along and put a stop to Team Plasma. At the same time, he wondered if it was friend or foe. More will come soon.
