Episode 469: Pokémon: Half-Shell Heroes Part 2
A little while after arriving, Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and Axew were watching the news coverage of the attack on Team Plasma.
"The mysterious ninjas has left behind a sign that read, and I quote: 'Book 'em Dude' at the scene," the reporter said.
"There's no forgiving that Team Plasma for their actions," one man said.
"Whoever it is, they have my thanks," a male trainer said. "Those bastards took my Tranquill from me."
Over in the hospital, April, Irma, and Casey was watching the news.
"They're safe," April said.
"What about Splinter?" Irma asked.
"It's likely that he's with them. Or he might be in Shredder's clutches," Casey said.
"I hope you're right about right about him being with the guys, Casey," April said.
Right in the Technodrome, Bebop and Rocksteady were running on a treadmill, powering up the station up.
"How come we have to run so much?" Rocksteady asked.
"Because we're finding an alternate form of power, and you two will have to settle until then," Stockman said. "Besides, you're a rhinoceros, so you can run in spite of your size."
"Rock, aren't you losing a little weight?" Bebop asked.
In the cells of the Technodrome, there were some mutants in it. One is a mutant snapping turtle and the other is a mutant wolf. There is another that is a mutant turtle like the Ninja Turtles, but he has a black bandana, and he has a pair of swords with him. Another is a large mutant alligator. There is another that resembles a shina inu, and another that resembles a viperfish, swimming in a fish tank, and it has robotic legs. A foot ninja came in with meat and fed the mutants.
"They've been fed?" One Foot ninja asked.
"Yeah. Don't know why we keep these freaks around. We got enough to worry about with those two dumbasses Shredder has around; and I should also mention that fly man," another Foot ninja said.
"Just where exactly are we?" The first Foot ninja asked.
"No idea. The cells are the only things that are working. I don't even wanna think about how it'll look of those things gets loose," the second Foot ninja said.
"Come on, Shredder wants us to go find out where we are," the first Foot ninja said.
Over to Rydia, she answers her communicator.
"Rydia here," Rydia answered.
"Rydia, we have detected a strange energy reading somewhere around Twist Mountain. You're the closest PHOP agent down there, so we need you to look into it," a voice spoke.
"Okay. I'll look right into it," Rydia said. She breaks contact and sets off to investigate.
Elsewhere, the young man steps out of a helicopter, followed by several Team Shadow peons.
"So, Valiant, what's the plan?" One of the Team Shadow peons asked.
"Learn what we can about this so-called energy reading and report back to Master Mateus," Valiant said. "Stay alert for anyone suspicious." The Team Shadow peons all nodded.
Back to the Pokémon Center, Kairi was practing for her Conest as she has Sawsbuck and Swanna out to help her out.
"Okay, Angel! Use Swift! Swanna! Ice Beam! Sawsbuck! Energy Ball!" Kairi ordered. Angel, Swanna, and Sawsbuck all launched their attacks and they combined in a cascade of colors. It turned out so beautifully. Sora, Karen, Pikachu, and Blossom were awestruck by what they were seeing.
"That was amazing, Kairi," Karen said. "The judges will love it."
"You think so, Karen?" Kari asked.
"I'm with her. The judges will love it," Sora said.
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Pika, Pika!" Blossom added.
"Thank you both," Kairi said, hugging both her boyfriend and his sister. They hugged her right back. "You two, Ven, Aqua, Terra, Cilan, and Iris are the best."
"You got our support, Kairi," Karen said happily. Sora felt lucky because a smile filled his face, seeing his girlfriend and sister getting along so well, just like seeing her with his mom. Also the image of Delia and Karen bonding in such a short time made him even happier.
Elsewhere, the turtles has returned to an abandoned building, using it as a temporary base until they return to their own world.
"Master Splinter, we had no luck in finding April and the others," Leo reported.
"I see," Splinter said. "Remember this, a ninja must be the master of his surroundings even if it is not familiar. Do not allow your ninja skills go to waste, and be vigilante on a regular basis, because the Shredder is undoubtedly hunting for us as we speak."
"Yes, sensei," the turtles said.
"I don't know about the rest of you, but I can go for some pizza just about now," Mikey said.
"Come to think of it, I could go for a slice," Raph said.
"I think we all could," Leo said. "Let's go."
The turtles places on their disguises and stepped out to find some pizza.
Speaking of which, the Pokémon Center was planning a pizza dinner that evening. It turns out that everyone was welcome to partake in the meal.
Meanwhile at the hospital, April, Casey, and Irma were cleared to leave the hospital.
"Thank you for everything," April said.
"Not a problem. Everything checked out, and there is no permanent damage, so you're free to go," the doctor said.
With that said, they took their leave of the hospital. Luckily, their T-phones were returned to them.
"Okay, to call the guys," April said. She dialed the turtles on their phones.
Elsewhere, they wondered the town and they heard their ring tone. Donnie answers it.
"Hello?" Donnie answered.
"Donnie! It's good to hear your voice," April said.
"April, you're okay!" Donnie said.
"April?" Mikey asked with happiness.
"Donnie, put it on speaker," Leo said.
"Way ahead of you, Leo," Donnie said, putting it on speaker. "April, are Casey and Irma with you?"
"You can ask us yourself, Don," Casey said.
"What about Splinter? Is he with you?" Irma asked.
"He's at an abandoned building; so he's okay," Donnie said.
"Where are you?" Raph asked.
"We were at a hospital, and we didn't have a way to contact you because we didn't have our T-phones with us," April said.
"What about you? Where are you?" Casey asked.
"Somewhere in town. We were thinking of how to find you before we find the Technodrome," Leo said.
"While we ate some pizza," Mikey said.
"Not surprising," Irma said.
"Where should we meet you?" Raph asked.
Over to their human friends, they looked around and they saw the town map. They pinpointed to the Pokémon Center.
"Okay, there's a building right in this area. Look for the letter P on it," April said.
"Got it," Leo said. "We'll meet you there." They break contact and looks for the building.
Over to Team Plasma's castle, Ghetsis was going over his plan when a Team Plasma grunt came in.
"Lord Ghetsis, we have a problem," the Team Plasma grunt reported.
"What is it?" Ghetsis asked.
"We heard from a unit around Twist Mountain that they were arrested by police," the Team Plasma grunt reported.
"Is that so?" Ghetsis asked.
"More so, they claimed that they were attacked by four frogmen," the Team Plasma grunt said. Ghetsis looked right at the grunt.
"Frogmen?" Ghetsis asked.
"I thought it was absurd, too, but I suspect that has been the work of Team Shadow," the Team Plasma grunt said. "With your permission, I shall look into this."
"No. If Team Shadow are behind this, then we shall expect our other enemy to look into this," Ghetsis said. "They will deal with them."
"As you command, lord Ghetsis," the Team Plasma grunt said.
Over to Valiant and the Team Shadow peons, they make their way through Twist Mountain to find the source of the disturbance. They followed it down in the tunnels and they eventually found the Technodrome.
"What is that?" One of the Team Shadow peons asked.
"Who cares what it is? We were sent to look into it," Valiant said. "Come." They approached the fortress.
Inside the Technodrome, alarms go off.
"What is going on?" Kraang asked.
Intruders detected. Intruders detected. Intruders detected.
The monitor displays them on the screen.
"Those must be the local inhabitants. No doubt that the arrival of the Technodrome drew them here. No matter, because they won't live long enough to tell of it," Kraang said. Shredder arrived to see the Team Shadow peons.
"Who and what is that?" Another Team Shadow peon asked. Valiant stepped forward.
"Who are you?" Valiant demanded. Shredder stepped forward.
"I am OrokuSaki! The son of Oroku Maji! Master of the Foot Clan! And I am the last man you will ever meet alive," Shredder said, readying his bladed gauntlets. "You may call me the Shredder." Several Foot ninjas joined the Shredder to attack the intruders. The Team Shadow peons readied their Pokéballs as Valiant raised his hand.
"No. I'll deal with them myself," Valiant said. Shredder gestures the ninjas to attack. Valiant has taken some martial arts training and fought off as many ninjas that came at him. He shattered their bones as they came. Shredder was very impressed by Valiant's fighting skills.
"Impressive. You fight well. You would have been an excellent ninja," Shredder said. "It's almost a shame that you must die."
"After you," Valiant said.
He and Shredder engaged each other as they fought. Shredder attempts to slash him with his gauntlet as Valiant breaks his blades. Shredder fought with so much brutality as did Valiant. The fight between them both until a familiar voice shouted.
"Enough!" The voice called out. The Team Shadow peons all turned to see Golbez approaching.
"Golbez," Valiant said.
"There is no need for bloodshed," Golbez said.
"Who are you, and why are you here?" Shredder demanded.
"I have come to talk business," Golbez said.
"Business? With you?" Shredder questioned. "I find it laughable."
"I assure you, this is no laughing matter. Shall we discuss this inside?" Golbez asked. Shredder was skeptical, but he had to consider it. He allowed him to enter in order to learn of his situation.
"I think we have much to discuss, Golbez, isn't it?" Shredder asked.
"Indeed, Shredder," Golbez said .
Over to the Pokémon Center, the Ninja Turtles all arrived to the Pokémon Center and they saw the sign that indicates free pizza.
"Praise the lord, free pizza inside," Mikey said with his mouth watering.
"Cool it, Mikey, we can't waltz right in. What if your disguise comes off and someone freaks out?" Leo asked.
"They would more likely freak out because of your eating habits," Raph added.
"Also we told April we'll meet them right here, so we wait for her," Leo said.
"Dudes! You're not going to believe who's out there!" Mikey said.
"What is it, Mikey, Captain Marvel out there?" Raph asked.
"Look!" Mikey said, pointing to something. The other turtles look where Mikey is pointing and they see a pair of familiar faces, along with an unfamiliar one.
"Sweet mother of Albert Einstein! It's Sora and Kairi!" Donnie exclaimed.
"Who would have thought they would be here?" Leo asked.
"I thought they would be somewhere else in this world, for certain," Donnie said.
"You think they would recognize us?" Mikey asked.
"Who would forget that they met four big walking turtles?" Donnie asked.
"I know I wouldn't forget you, Mikey. Try all the time," Raph said.
"Think they're here for the free pizza?" Mikey asked.
"I think I doubt it," Leo said. "We don't want to draw some unwanted attention to ourselves. So we should-"
"Leo," Donnie could only say. Before Leo could ask, he points to Mikey heading to Sora and Kairi.
"That idiot," Raph said.
"So much for not drawing attention," Leo deadpanned.
"We better go after him before he does something stupid," Donnie said, earning a look from Leo and Raph. "Okay, something stupider."
Over to Sora, Kairi, Karen, Pikachu, Angel, and Blossom, they were about to head inside when Sora flinched when a voice shouted.
"SORA!" Mikey shouted, grabbing Sora.
"Whoa! Excuse you!" Sora exclaimed.
"Sora, you spiky-haired little rascal! It's good to see you again!" Mikey said.
"Just who do you think you are?" Sora asked. His aura ability kicked in and he could see that Mikey's aura isn't human.
"It's me, dude," Mikey said, revealing his face. Sora went wide-eyed as did Kairi. Karen was stunned to seeing the green face. "See?"
"Mikey?!" Sora and Kairi both asked. Raph came up behind him and conked him on the head.
"What the hell were you thinking, Mikey? Wait a minute, don't answer that, you don't think, because you're a total dumbass!" Raph snapped at the youngest turtle.
"Still angry as ever, Raph," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Don't need to be a genius to guess that," Donnie said as he and Leo show up.
"Donnie, Leo," Sora said.
"Hey Sora, long time no see," Leo said.
"What are you guys doing here? Don't tell me that you opened another Ultra Wormhole," Sora said.
"Trust us on that, we learned our lesson about that," Donnie said.
"Um, Sora, Kairi, you know these-" Karen was freaked at the sight of the turtles "-guys?"
"It's okay, Karen. You can trust them," Sora assured his sister. Angel looked right at them and she was just as surprised.
"Eevee?" Angel tilted her head.
"Chu?" Blossom also did the same thing.
"How's April?" Kairi asked.
"Why don't you ask me yourself, Kairi?" A familiar voice spoke, and they saw April, Casey, and Irma coming up to them. "Hi, Sora."
"April?" Sora asked.
"You know these kids?" Casey asked.
"Long story," April said.
"Just what are you guys doing here?" Sora asked.
"And who are they?" Kairi asked.
"Sora, Kairi, these are friends of ours, Casey Jones and Irma Langinstein. Casey, Irma, this is Sora and his girlfriend Kairi," April introduced.
"Hey," Sora said.
"So, who's this?" April asked.
"This is Karen, she's my long lost twin sister," Sora said.
"Sister?" Mikey asked. "Just like Luke and Leia."
"Sora, Kairi, Karen, Aqua wanted me to check on yo-" Ventus paused when he saw the turtles. "What the heck?!"
"Nothing to see here, kid, just four imaginary turtles," Casey said.
"It's okay, Casey, he can be trusted. That's Ventus, mine and Karen's cousin," Sora said.
"I may be a kid, but I'm not dumb," Ventus said.
"You should come inside and keep your faces covered," Sora said.
They went inside and met up with Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, and Meowth inside. Unaware, the Zoura from before appeared and followed them inside. They made it to the room they were all staying at. Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, and Meowth were surprised when they saw the Ninja Turtles for real.
"Four man-sized turtles," Cilan said in a surprised tone.
"I'm not dreaming, am I?" Iris asked.
"No, you're not. Anyway, now that everyone is here, I thought we should introduce you. So, Ven, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Aqua, Meowth, meet our friends from across the multiverse. Meet Leonardo, Raphael, Michaelangelo, and Donatello," Sora introduced.
"And this is April O'Neil, and she's a reporter where they're from," Kairi added.
"Guys, you already know Ven, so here are our other friends, Terra and his girlfriend Aqua. And this is Cilan and Iris," Sora introduced.
"Casey Jones and Irma Langinstein tagged along for the ride," Donnie said. "Along with our father."
"Who happens to be a rat," Mikey added.
"How did you get here?" Terra asked.
"It was a dark and stormy night," Mikey started. "There were four turtles, just like us, who-"
"MIKEY!" Leo, Raph, and Donnie exclaimed.
"Okay, okay!" Mikey said.
"It's like this..." Leo said.
Over to the Technodrome, Golbez, Valiant, and the Team Shadow peons were introduced to Kraang.
"Your Technodrome impresses me, Kraang. You are a true genius," Golbez said.
"I thank you, Golbez. I find your world unsettling, but I am glad that my genius is appreciated here, unlike the other Utroms," Kraang said.
"I wish to see more of this marvelous machine, but first, with your permission, I shall make contact with Master Mateus," Golbez said.
"Of course," Kraang said. Golbez made contact with Team Shadow HQ through the Technodrome.
"Master Mateus," Golbez said.
"Golbez. I presume that you have made contact," Matues said.
"Indeed," Golbez said.
"You're the master of Team Shadow, yes? I am Shredder, master of the Foot Clan," Shredder said.
"And I am Kraang, conquer of Dimension X. We are visitors to your world as you can see," Mateus said.
"A pleasure, Shredder and Kraang. How did you come to my world?" Matues asked.
"We were accidentally brought here due to some difficulty to a crystal that transwarped space and time. We were unaware of our surroundings and so we are nearly out of power," Kraang explained.
"I see," Matues said. "Perhaps I can be of assistance to you, Kraang," Matues said. A Team Shadow peon has let out six Eelektross and they generated electricity all throughout the Technodrome. Bebop and Rocksteady were shocked and they fell right off, making the Team Shadow peons chuckle.
"What did you do? And what are these?" Shredder demanded.
"My apologies, Shredder. These are creatures known as Pokémon. These Pokémon are known as Eelektross, not native of your world, judging by your reaction. Their electricity is very useful," Matues said.
"You are right. Not native to the Earth where Shredder is from, and not native to Dimension X. They interest me greatly," Kraang said. Kraang was very interested in by the biology of the Pokémon, and how the mutagen was going to affect them. He saw them as potential test subjects. "I am intrigued by these Pokémon as you call them." Mateus grinned.
"What other use do you have for these things?" Shredder asked.
"They are capable of so much more," Matues said. "Peons, give them a command!"
"Yes, Master Mateus," the Team Shadow peon replied. "Eelektross! Use Thunderbolt!" The Eelektross all gave Bebop and Rocksteady quite a shock.
"Now I know what my mama means by not playing with wires when I was a kid," Rocksteady said.
"Ditto!" Bebop said.
Shredder was amazed by the power they had displayed.
"Impressive," Shredder said. "What power." He saw them as potential weapons to use against the turtles. He could have an army of not only mutants, but Pokémon as well.
"There are different kinds," Mateus said. "Golbez, see what you can learn from our new friends."
"As you command, Master Mateus," Golbez said. Mateus broke contact as Valiant was just looking at Bebop and Rocksteady with disgust.
"What freaks," Valiant said under his breath.
"I'm quite interested to see what you have in store, Kraang," Golbez said.
"Of course," Kraang replied.
Back to the Pokémon Center, the group was filled in about the situation with Shredder and Kraang.
"So, let me see if I got this straight, you're saying that you ended up in our world from an explosion that took place insde of something called a Technodrome?" Sora asked.
"That's pretty much the jist of it," Raph said.
"And you're saying that Shredder and Kraang are here as well?" Kairi added.
"Just a terrible feeling we have," Leo said.
"Okay, this sounds totally weird," Iris said. "Just what is a Kraang?"
"Kraang is an Utrom scientist that went rogue and banished in another dimension for some illegal experimentation. Talking about devices to gain control the populists, that kind of thing," Donnie said.
"Utrom?" Ventus asked.
"They're these little alien dudes that look like little brains, and they use robot bodies to do stuff," Mikey said.
"To be honest, we didn't expect to survive that explosion, or get sent into another dimension like the the last time," Donnie said.
"I have to say, this is chuck full of unexpected ingredients," Cilan said.
"And it was after dealing with Digimon," Meowth said.
"How do you plan to get back to your own world?" Aqua asked.
"I think we could get hold of the Technodrome's trans-dimensional warp to send us back. Of course there's a huge chance that we might end up in some other dimension instead," Donnie said.
"Until we find the Technodrome, we're stuck in your world," Leo said. "Who knows what else might happen."
"Well, I'm sure you'll find it," Kairi said.
"So, how about that free pizza?" Mikey asked.
"Pizza's not here yet," Sora said. "Won't be here until a couple of hours." Mikey groaned.
"A couple of hours?" Mikey asked in shock. "Don't know how long it'll last!" Mikey said in a faint. Donnie hands him a game console.
"Here, play some Super Pony Racers. It'll take your mind off of it," Donnie said. Mikey got in tuned with the game.
"Super Pony Racers," Mikey said in a zombie tone. Iris rolled her eyes.
"What a little kid," Iris deadpanned.
"Even a little kid has more sense than he would," Raph said.
Back to the Technodrome, Golbez and the Team Shadow peons were given the tour of the Technodrome.
"Very impressive," Golbez said.
"I thank you, Golbez. The Technodrome is my greatest achievement," Kraang said. They were led to Stockman's lab. He buzzed right up to Shredder.
"Sir, the weapon isn't near ready, I'm trying my best," Stockman said. Shredder smacked the humanoid fly. "He took that better than expected."
"And this is?" Golbez asked.
"Baxter Stockman, a scientist. Good with robotics," Stockman said.
"Stockman, get back to work, and don't fail me again!" Shredder demanded.
"On it," Stockman said.
"You have another one of those things?" Valiant asked with disgust.
"Baxter Stockman had himself a little accident when it came to some mutagen," Kraang said.
"Mutagen?" Golbez asked.
"Of course. It is a product of my genius," Kraang said.
"I would like to see a demonstration," Golbez said.
"Would one of your men like to volunteer?" Shredder asked. Golbez looked over to the Team Shadow peons and pointed to one. He nodded as he readied himself. Kraang took a sample of mutagen in a needle and he injects some into his blood. The Team Shadow peon then groaned in pain as the mutagen was taking its course. He laid on the ground, screaming in pain. "Don't worry, he'll live... probably."
"We have many more just like him," Golbez said.
The Team Shadow peon started to transform into a humanoid tiger. He roared once his transformation was complete.
"Fascinating," Golbez said, impressed.
"My mutagen has the ability to mutate anyone and anything it comes in contact with. This individual has transformed him into his place in the animal kingdom," Kraang said.
"This mutagen is very genius," Golbez said. Are there other mutants like the ones from before?"
"Of course," Kraang said. "It's just about feeding time."
Kraang and Shredder led their guests down to the cells where they keep the mutants. Golbez was quite amazed.
"What magnificent creatures you have," Golbez said.
"These mutants were born as ordinary animals before their mutations. Stockman, Rocksteady, Bebop, were human prior to their mutations," Kraang said.
"I see," Golbez said.
The mutant dog barked right at them, as the mutant wolf just snarled. The Foot ninjas threw the meat into their cells and the mutants started to eat.
"What need would you have for these freaks?" Valiant asked.
"Valiant," Golbez scolded.
"There is much more to see," Kraang said.
Back to the Pokémon Center, the pizza was delivered as Donnie activates their hologram projections to make them appear to be human. Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and Axew led their inter dimensional friends to the mess hall to where the pizza is being placed. The mouths of the disguised turtles all watered as they rushed over and wolfed down some pizza. They were getting loads of odd looks from other trainers as the turtles were eating. Sora chuckled nervously.
"Um, they just love pizza?" Sora just said as he chuckled nervously.
"I think we should grab ourselves a slice before they eat all of it," Terra said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, April, Casey, and Irma grabbed some slices before they were eaten by the turtles. As they ate, the turtles shared some tales with them after the last time they met as Sora and Kairi told them about their adventures, and how Kairi reuniting with her parents and how Karen is Sora's sister.
"It must have been hard for you to learn that the people who you thought were your parents weren't really your real parents," Irma said.
"It was at first," Karen said. "When they explained it to me, I saw the proof with my own eyes when they showed me this." She showed them the photo of the wedding.
"The only way to be sure was with a DNA test, and that proved it for us," Sora said.
"It was a shock to hear that I will never meet my real father, but I still have my real mom," Karen said. "I'm tagging along because I want to meet her in person."
"We know how it feels to know where you came from," Leo said.
"Something we know all about," Donnie said.
"Just where is Splinter staying?" Sora asked.
"Just at an old building in town," Raph said.
"I doubt Splinter will approve of us bringing you there, but he'll come around when we explain it to him," Leo said.
"We'll cross that bridge when we come to it," Sora said.
"Besides, we'll be more than happy to help you get home," Kairi said.
"Think that'll help you out when Shredder shows up?" Raph asked.
"We dealt with bad guys before, so Shredder and Kraang won't be any different," Sora said.
"We could use their help, because they know their world better than any of us," Donnie said.
Leo wasn't sure if he should agree with this, but he knew Donnie was right, so he had to allow it.
Over to Rydia, she made her way to Twist Mountain to look into the strange occurrence. As she continued on, she had the feeling someone was following her. She started to walk a little slower, and got a Pokéball ready just in case. She turned to see a dozen Foot ninjas behind her.
"You should not be here," one of the ninjas said.
"You won't stop me," Rydia said, opening her Pokéball. It lets out a Haxorus. "Okay, Haxorus! Use Dragon Pulse!" Haxorus unleashed Dragon Pulse and it struck the ninjas. Just then, several Team Shadow peons appeared. "Team Shadow, I knew it!" Just then, the mutant tiger leapt right towards the axe jaw Pokémon. Haxorus dodges as Rydia was shocked to see him. "What in the world?!" Golbez then shows up. He took out an Ultra Ball and threw it.
"Hydreigon!" Golbez called out. A Hydreigon appeared. "Use Dragon Pulse!" Hydreigon unleashed Dragon Pulse and it struck Haxorus. It lands right on Rydia, knocking out Haxorus. She calls Haxorus back. "Get some rest." She turned to see Golbez. "You."
"I was hoping one of you to show up," Golbez said. He knocked her right out.
Team Shadow, the Foot, and Kraang joined forces, things are starting to get bad, and it might get worse. What will happen when Sora and his friends takes the fight to the alliance of villains? You will have to wait and see in the next chapter.
