Episode 471: Pokémon: Half-Shell Heroes Part 4
Sora, Kairi, Terra, Cilan, Leo, Raph, April, Casey, Pikachu, Angel, and Thor stood before the demented mutant turtle as he grips his swords.
"Just what else can you tell us about this turtle?" Terra asked.
"Well, Slash is very crazy. It's been like that ever since he was mutated," Raph said.
"Kill them! KILL THEM!" Slash shouted as he ran towards them. He attempted to slash Terra when Raph blocks with his sais.
"Thanks, Raph," Terra said.
"Don't mention it," Raph said.
Slash pushes them back and gave the red-clad turtle a kick.
"Raph!" April cried.
"Okay, Slashy-boy! Get a taste of this!" Casey shouted as he swung his hockey stick. Slash swings his sword, cutting it. "Aw, shit! That's the fifth one this week!"
"Thor! Mega Punch!" Terra ordered. Thor gave the evil mutant turtle a punch in the face. "Now use Mega Kick!" Thor gave Slash a kick in the gut. Slash roared as he came at Thor.
"Pikachu! Iron Tail!" Sora ordered. Pikachu swings his tail right at Slash.
"Angel! Headbutt!" Kairi ordered. Angel lands a Headbutt onto Slash. "Use Swift!" Angel fires Swift. Slash is struck hard by the stars.
Over to Karen, Ventus, Aqua, Iris, Donnie, Mikey, Irma, Meowth, Axew, Blossom, Sparky, and Eclair, the fight with Dogpound and Fishface was just getting started. Dogpound ran towards the squad.
"Axew! Dragon Rage!" Iris ordered. Axew fires Dragon Rage right into Dogpound's face.
"Blossom! Quick Attack!" Karen ordered. Blossom ran towards Dogpound and gave the mutant dog a hit with Quick Attack. "Bad dog!" Fishface took out a pair of butterfly knives and twirls them around.
"I'm going to cut you up, you yellow rodent," Fishface said.
"Sparky! Thunderbolt!" Ventus ordered. Sparky gave Fishface quite a shock. He fell to the ground. "Take that, fishsticks!" Karen turned to her cousin and smiled. She embraced her cousin.
"Thank you, Ven," Karen said.
"Don't celebrate yet, you two. We still have Dogpound to deal with," Aqua said.
"Pika!" Eclair said.
And she was right, because Dogpound came right at the group. Donnie smacked the mutant dog hard as Meowth jumped and swiped his claws at him.
"Karen was right, you are a bad dog. And this bad dog should be confined in his dog house," Meowth said.
"I never did like cats," Dogpound said.
"You dogs don't do me any good either; even dog Pokémon," Meowth said.
Dogpound growled as Irma smacked him with a bat. Everyone looked at her surprised.
"What?" Irma asked.
"Just wasn't expecting that from you," Iris said.
"Axew," Axew said. Dogpound attempted to get back up, but she gave the mutant dog a kick in the face, knocking him out.
"Stay down," Irma said.
"Just how were you able to fight like that?" Iris asked.
"She took some fighting lessons from Master Splinter. Irma decided to take in some self-defense classes for free," Donnie said.
"I'm still learning," Irma said.
"And it's paying off," Meowth said.
"We're not out of the woods yet," Ventus said. "We still have the rest of those guys to deal with."
"Ven's right. We're just getting started," Aqua said.
Outside the Technodrome, Bebop and Rocksteady had just comeback after regaining consciousness.
"Failed again, failed again. Shredder and Karai are going to have our heads mounted on the wall when they hear we blew it again," Rocksteady said.
"Just be glad that rhino meat don't go well with eggs and toast, Rock," Bebop said. "Besides, he'll have to like us when we get the turtles and those kids."
"I sincerely doubt that," a voice spoke. They turned to see Splinter before he quickly took them down.
"How did you find us so fast?" Rocksteady asked.
"Let's just say, you left a trail behind you," Splinter answered, pointing to their footprints. "Even you were human, you never could cover your tracks." He knocked them both out by giving them both a toss inside. He tied them up and took out a T-phone. "Now to make contact. Just gotta remember how it works." He tried to access the T-phone as best as he could.
Over to Sora, Kairi, Terra, Cilan, Leo, Raph, April, Casey, Pikachu, Angel, and Thor, Leo hears his T-phone going off.
"You going to answer that?" Terra asked. Leo answered it.
"Leonardo here," Leo said. He could hear Splinter trying to figure out how to operate the T-phone.
"Oh, I never could understand how Donatello's devices work. Isn't there a button to push? Hello? Hello?" Splinter tried to figure it out from the other end.
"Master Splinter, you don't need to push anything, you could just talk into it," Leo said.
"Of course," Splinter said. "Where are you?"
"We split up, covering more ground. We're hoping to drag as much as the Foot and Team Shadow as we can," Leo said. "And where are you?"
"I have just arrived to the Technodrome. I dispatched Bebop and Rocksteady after following them here. I am currently searching for you," Splinter said.
"We'll meet up with you at Kraang's lab," Leo said.
"Understood, Leonardo. Take great care," Splinter said.
Leo broke contact as the squad proceeded. Zorua and Solosis kept on following them.
Over to Karen, Ventus, Aqua, Iris, Donnie, Mikey, Irma, Meowth, Axew, Blossom, Sparky, and Eclair, they kept going down their path when they heard a couple of snarls.
"Hear that?" Meowth asked.
Walls are busted open as Tokka and Rahzar came through. They let out loud roars.
"Is that turtle a relative of yours?" Iris asked.
"No way. That's Tokka. And Mr. Big Bad there is Rahzar," Mikey said.
"Well, the bigger they are-" Meowth tried to ram into Rahzar, but he bounces off. "The more bones they break." Rahzar tried to stomp on him, but he rolls out of the way just in time. He comes to face Tokka. "Time to sharpen my claws on your shell, you overgrown, ugly, poor excuse for a turtle!" He attempted to slash Tokka's undershell, but his scratches do nothing. He chuckled nervously as Tokka took him by the tail. "Uh, I think that ugly crack is a little out of line, huh?" Tokka spins him around by the tail, making Meowth scream. He threw the scratch cat Pokémon over the squad. "Meowth's blasting off solo!" He hits the wall. He sang in a daze, "I tawt I taw a putty tat, cweeping up on me." He fell on his back.
Over to Golbez, he grins under his helmet as he witnesses the brawl going on.
"So, he has come. It is no surprise to me that he has become involved when it came to beings from othef dimensions. Master Mateus must have known in advance," Golbez said in his thoughts.
Over to Sora, Kairi, Terra, Cilan, Leo, Raph, April, Casey, Pikachu, Angel, and Thor, they had their hands full dealing with the Team Shadow peons with Durant, Heatmor, Bouffalant, Sigilyph, Excadrill, Sawsbuck, Swanna, Gothorita, Unfezant, and Lilligant were let out to deal with the attacking Team Shadow Pokémon, being Eelektross, Metang, Vigoroth, Purugly, and Drapion.
"Out of our way!" Raph shouted, giving a Team Shadow peon a punch in the face, cracking his visors and giving him a nosebleed.
A Team Shadow peon came along and she stood before them.
"You're not getting pass me," the female Team Shadow peon said. She took out two Pokéballs, a three Great Balls, and a Premier Ball, and threw them. Out came a Lopunny, and a Persian from the Pokéballs, a Seviper, a Machoke, and a Graveler from the Great Balls, while a Granbull came out the Premiere Ball.
"If it's a battle you want, that's what you're going to get! Angel! Use Swift! Sawsbuck! Energy Ball! Lilligant! Petal Blizzard! Unfezant! Air Slash! Gothorita! Psybeam! Swanna! Ice Beam!" Kairi ordered.
"Lopunny! Aura Sphere! Graveler! Rock Blast! Persian! Power Gem! Seviper! Venoshock! Machoke! Focus Blast! Granbull! Water Pulse!" The female Team Shadow peon ordered. Her Pokémon manages to block the combined forces of Kairi's Pokémon. It resulted in an explosion. All the Pokémon felt that.
"Aren't you going to help out?" April asked.
"She's got this," Sora said.
"He's right. She can handle this one," Terra said. "She beat Lovrina; so she can beat her."
"Angel! Use Iron Tail on Granbull!" Kairi ordered. Angel jumped and swung her tail down on the bulldog-like Pokémon.
"Dodge and use Focus Punch!" The female Team Shadow peon ordered. Granbull dodged and lands a punch onto Angel. "Seviper! Poison Tail on Sawsbuck! Persian! Night Slash on Gothorita! Machoke! Fire Punch on Lilligant! Graveler! Double-Edge on Unfezant! Lopunny! Drain Punch on that Swanna!" All of her Pokémon launched their attacks on their chosen targets. "Focus Punch on that Eevee again!" Granbull moved in to deliver Focus Punch onto Angel when Solosis came and used Protect to block.
Everyone were surprised to see Solosis assisting.
"What is that thing?" Casey asked.
"It's a Solosis!" Cilan said. "And it saved Angel by using Protect!"
"That little! You're going to pay for that!" The female Team Shadow peon hissed. Solosis fires a Psybeam and it struck Seveiper. Solosis's eyes glows blue as Solosis creates five wormholes then blasts of electrified psychic energy through the wormholes and in between the wormholes.
"What did it just do?" April asked.
"It used Future Sight," Cilan said.
"You mean, it look right into the future?" Raph asked.
"Future Sight is a move that can unleash a hunk of psychic energy after a short amount of time," Cilan explained.
"Think that's going to scare me?! Think again! Aura Sphere! Focus Blast! Rock Blast! Water Pulse! Venoshock! Power Gem!" The Team Shadow peon ordered. The enemy Pokémon all launched their attacks at them as Solosis uses Psychic to block their attacks and sends them right back. She growled in anger. "You damn brat!" Just then, the wormholes appear around the target, barraging the opposing Pokémon with the blasts of electrified psychic energy. She gets caught in the blast as well.
"If Mikey were here, he would say that is awesome, and he'd be right," Leo said.
"Yeah," Raph and Casey agreed. Kairi smiled as she held the cell Pokémon in her arms.
"Thank you, Solosis. You helped us out," Kairi said. Solosis beamed. Zorua was watching with interest. It followed them once they started moving forward.
Back to Karen, Ventus, Aqua, Iris, Donnie, Mikey, Irma, Meowth, Axew, Blossom, Sparky, and Eclair, they had their hands full dealing with Tokka and Rahzar.
"They're crazy strong!" Ventus exclaimed.
"Pika!" Sparky added.
"How did you beat these guys?" Ventus asked.
"By kicking them off of tall buildings," Mikey said.
"We aren't exactly high enough to drop them, Mikey!" Donnie said.
They were about to strike them hard when Ventus took Donnie's bo and used it to make Tokka and Rahzar trip and fall. They fell pretty hard and they started crying very hard. Karen, Ventus, Aqua, Iris, Mewoth, Axew, Blossom, Sparky, and Eclair were confused and dumbfounded by their sudden crying.
"They're crying?" Karen asked.
"Did I forget to mention that they have infantile intelligence?" Donnie asked.
"Infantile? You mean they're-" Karen started.
"-babies?" Ventus finished.
"They're big babies," Mikey said.
"You gotta be kidding! You mean these mutants are babies?" Iris asked.
"What did you expect, them coming out quoting Macbeth?" Donnie asked.
Tokka and Rahzar got up and charged right at them.
Suddenly, a Dragonite and a Flygon appeared and gave the mutants a toss. They were surprised by the sudden appearance of two Dragon Type Pokémon.
"Good work, you two," a familiar voice spoke. Karen, Ventus, Aqua, Iris, and Meowth knew who the voice belonged to. They turned to see Rydia.
"Rydia?" Iris asked.
"What are you doing here?" Aqua asked.
"And how did you get here?" Iris added.
"It's a long story," Rydia replied.
If you're wondering how Rydia got out, here's the answer. A couple of Foot ninjas thought about having some "fun" with her, but they quickly found themselves in hot water she took out a small container, holding a sprinkle of Sleep Powder. She spreads it onto them, making them fall right to sleep. She got to her Pokéballs and she let out Dragonite and Flygon to assist.
"You know her?" Irma asked.
"Yeah. We met her during the Clubsplosion Tournament a short time before bumping into you," Iris said. "I battled her and lost, but Sora has battled her and won."
"I would like to catch up, but we have to stop Team Shadow and those other people," Rydia said.
"Agreed," Donnie said. "The longer the Technodrome stays, the more this world is in danger." Rydia looked right at Donnie and Mikey.
"Okay, I might be losing my mind, but I think I'm seeing giant turtles," Rydia said.
"You're not losing anything. What you're seeing is real," Ventus said.
"And they're on our side," Iris added.
"If you say so," Rydia said. Several Foot ninjas came along to attack. "Hyper Beam!" Dragonite and Flygon fire their Hyper Beam, striking the ninjas hard. They were taken out.
Over to Sora, Kairi, Terra, Cilan, Leo, Raph, April, Casey, Pikachu, Angel, Thor, and Solosis, they entered Stockman's lab to see the mutant fly himself.
"Another mutant?" Kairi asked. "Who's he?!"
"It's Baxter Stockman," Leo said.
"He's an egg head who got mutated into a house fly," Raph said.
"Turtles! Shredder said that you'd show up! Now, I can take you on myself!" Stockman said, getting a laser gun ready. He fires it as Leo reflects it with his swords.
"Take cover!" Leo said.
Sora, Kairi, Terra, and Cilan took cover as Leo, Raph, April, Casey, and the Pokémon all launched their assault on the mutant fly.
"Not just turtles, but also some test subjects to experiment on. They would make excellent weapons for Shredder," Stockman said.
"Try it if you can, bug-face!" Sora said.
"Don't call me bug-face!" Stockman snarled at him. He heard a roar coming from in the lab. He saw it was the Druddigon from before.
"A Druddigon?!" Sora exclaimed. He turned to Stockman. "What did you do to it!"
"I was attempting to dissect it to see what makes it tick, but then you showed up and spoiled the moment. With some more specimens, this is turning out good," Stockman said.
"Gotta help Druddigon," Sora said. He started to head for the captive cave Pokémon. Stockman gasped when he was close to it.
"What are you doing?! Stay away from there!" Stockman demanded. He flew to stop him, but Sigilyph caught him by using Psychic. Excadrill slashes at with Metal Calw as Heatmor grabbed him and slammed him to the ground. Durant grabbed him by the leg with his mandibles. "Let go of me at once, you overgrown arthropod!" Durant gets on top of him. Sora let's Druddigon out. Druddigon attacked with Dragon Claw.
"Hey, calm down! I'm here to help!" Sora said. Druddigon tried again, but with Dragon Tail, so Sora dodged it. Bouffalant attacked with Megahorn. Druddigon came at Druddigon with Fire Fang. "Bouffalant! Head Charge!" Bouffalant charged right at Druddigon and lands a hit onto the cave Pokémon. Druddigon lands a hit with Dragon Claw. "Head Charge again!" Bouffalant lands another Head Charge right on Druddigon, knocking it out. Sora took out a Pokéball. "Now, to get you out of here!" Sora threw the Pokéball, making Druddigon flow inside. The Pokéball wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box goes off asking him if he wants to keep Druddigon with him. He chose to send Druddigon to Professor Oak's lab. "Done."
"What did you just do?" Stockman asked. "Where did it go?"
"Somewhere you can't get to it," Sora said. "And there's more." He turned to Leo and Raph. "Wanna do the honors?"
"With pleasure," Raph said. "Pass him this way."
"Do it, Durant!" Sora said.
Durant complies to Sora's word and obeys him. Raph placed Stockman in the same cage as Druddigon.
"It may not be fly paper, but it'll do," Raph said.
"You'll pay for this!" Stockman yelled.
"Don't count on it," Raph said.
They left Stockman inside as Zorua continued to follow them. It stopped and looked right at the mutant fly and snickered at him.
"Let me out," Stockman said. Zorua left him there. "Wait! Come back!"
Over to Sora, Kairi, Terra, Cilan, Leo, Raph, April, Casey, and the Pokémon they continued throughout the Technodrome to meet up with the rest.
"Sora, that was mighty impressive back there. Glad to see it with my own eyes," Leo said.
"Same here," April said. "And it looked like a strong one."
"Just like I said, when countering a Pokémon out in the wild, have the Pokémon you got to weaken it in battle," Sora said.
"That's right, I remember you mentioning that before," April said.
"Just where did it go?" Casey asked.
"He got sent home," Kairi said.
"He who?" Casey asked.
"She's talking about Druddigon," Cilan said. "Kairi can has the uncanny ability to tell the difference between males and females; even when there are some with no specific differences."
"She had that gift for a long time," Terra said.
"How can she tell?" Raph asked.
"Pokémon are like people. They can feel emotions like we can," Kairi said. "Also they behave in certain ways."
"So, you mean there are some that can real brainiacs like Donnie or slackers like Mikey?" Raph asked.
"That is one way to put it, Raphael," Cilan said.
"We can put the lessons on hold, because we gotta meet up with the others," Leo said.
"Not if I have anything to say," a new voice spoke. They all stopped when Valiant approached them. "I have been waiting for this for a long time."
"And you are?" Sora asked.
"The name's Valiant. And you and I have a score to settle," Valiant said. Sora looked right at him.
"Hey, I don't even know you. What do you want from me?" Sora asked.
"Revenge on you, Sora Ketchum!" Valiant said.
"Revenge?" Sora asked, surprised. "We just met and you want revenge on me?"
"You and the rest of your family!" Valiant! said. "As long as your bloodline exists, my bloodline will never rest!"
"What are you talking about?" Sora asked.
"What does his family has to do with you?" Terra asked.
"EVERYTHING!" Valiant yelled. "YOU RECALL THE KNIGHT KNOWN AS GARLAND, SORA?!" Sora tilted his head.
"Garland? What does he have to do with you?" Sora asked.
"It's quite simple! Garland was my ancestor! The one Zest has disgraced!" Valiant said. Sora was surprised to hear it from him. He looked right into his aura and he saw he was telling the truth.
"Garland disgraced himself!" Sora argued. "He tried that he wanted to rule over people lower than himself, and he got himself thrown out! Zest fought him to stop him!"
"Okay, what are they talking about?" Casey asked.
"Any ideas?" Leo asked.
"Sora's descended from a long line of knights in the old days in our world," Kairi explained. "Zest, the Warrior of Light, was one of his ancestors. I didn't think I would meet a descendent of Garland, the Warrior of Darkness."
"That's what history says," Valiant said.
"He was the greatest warrior that ever lived, and it was because of your despicable ancestor that Garland lived a disgraced life after being defeated by his hands!" Valiant growled.
"What do you mean by that? He fell to his death," Sora said.
"Is that what you were told? No, he survived that fall, and he was a disgraced man! Before he died, he cursed your bloodline, swore that his soul will never rest until my family's revenge is met!" Valiant said. "My hate for the Ketchum family is what made me strong!" Leo stepped up.
"Revenge and hate are poisons to the soul," Leo said. Sora looked right at him. "You can erase Sora's bloodline, but it won't change what happened back then."
"I don't need a lecture from you freaks!" Valiant said.
"Freaks?! That's it!" Raphael exclaimed as Valiant gave Raph a toss.
"He's right, Valiant! Revenge doesn't make things better, it makes things worse for you!" Sora said. "Can't you see that? Garland brought it on himself. You don't have to be like him. I can see that you're better than this."
"You can spare me the goody-good lectures! The truth is that weak people should be ruled over like a king! If it weren't for Zest's needless meddling, I would have been descended from royalty! I would have had the world at my fingertips! I could have been had girls fawning over me, like a Murkrow getting excited for shiny objects! But do I have the world at my fingertips? Do I have girls fawning over me? No on both questions! It's total bullshit that my family gets NOTHING!" His yell is echoed. "And now that I have where I want you, I can have my revenge at last." He chuckled evilly. Sora looked right at him and he shook his head.
"You just don't get it," Sora said. "What will it take for you to realize that it's not worth it? If revenge is all you live for, then you haven't been living at all. He's right to tell you that it won't change what happened back then. I am not going to stand by and let you get away with threatening my family! So, how about that you put your money where your mouth is, and we can have a battle, here and now!" Valiant started to laugh.
"You're joking, right? A battle against me? You think you'll win against me?" Valiant asked.
"I don't think it! I know it!" Sora said.
Over to Golbez, Shredder, and Kraang, they were watching on the monitor.
"Well, this is an interesting development," Kraang said. "I was not expecting that young human to make it this far."
"What is so special about a mere child?" Shredder asked, quite annoyed.
"He is no mere child. Sora Ketchum is anything but mere. He is the one whom Master Mateus had his eye on for quite some time," Golbez said.
"He is afraid of a boy?" Shredder asked.
"No. He is interested in him. He has been since his name became well-known throughout the world, apart from winning four Pokémon League tournaments, and bringing Team Rocket to its knees," Golbez said. "Not to mention that he has saved the world from total destruction. They were plans that Master Mateus has viewed as doomed to failure. And what's more, he has a power that no ordinary human being has. He has exceeded in ways not even I would have foreseen. And does that make him mere?"
"He is on the same level as those turtles," Kraang said. "After seeing him the way he controlled those creatures, it's no wonder."
"What is this 'power' that you speak of?" Shredder asked. Golbez chuckled.
"A power that is unlike what you have seen, Shredder," Golbez said.
Elsewhere in Team Shadow HQ, Kefka and Jecht are in the meeting room as they spoke.
"Gotta say, it's been a while that we had contact with another world since we had those Digimon," Kefka said as he laughed.
"Must you bring that up?" Jecht asked, getting annoyed. "Those things wouldn't have done a thing for us. And haven't you found it odd that they have been showing up in the Sinnoh region, and not anywhere else? I could ask about the Ultra Beasts showing up in Johto as well."
"Not really. But it was actually fun when you think about it, Jecht," Kefka said. "Especially when Sora and his little friends being on the scene!" Kefka said. "I would have liked having one of those under my belt."
Jecht scoffed, "You would, clown." Kefka looked right at him.
"And what is that supposed to mean?" Kefka asked.
"You know what I mean! We're all here because most of us realized that the world we live in is completely hell. But as for me, it pisses me off that people can live life so peacefully like there's nothing wrong with it. But what's the reason that you got dragged into this? That's a dumbass question to ask someone like you. It's total chaos and mindless mayhem. You love it so much, you take the pleasure in watching others suffering. And also, you go right in without a plan and just do whatever pops into your mind. Mateus and the others all has a plan, but not you. You go around and treat our plan like it's a game. Frankly, you have no business being a member of Team Shadow. Even Miror B has a much more deserving in our ranks than you are! I get grossed out just by looking at your face!" Kefka laughed.
"Those are the nicest things anyone has ever said to me," Kefka said. "Sure, I do things my own way. That's how I roll. I just have fun with I do. Anarchy is where it is! Stealing stuff is just plain boring. Team Rocket were total bores. And I was getting bored having to do after all these years, until Team Rocket went out of business. And it was that spiky-haired little boy we have to thank. If he weren't our sworn enemy, I would love to shake his hand." Jecht just rolled his eyes.
Back at the Technodrome, Karen, Ventus, Aqua, Iris, Rydia, Donnie, Mikey, Irma, Meowth, Axew, Blossom, Sparky, and Eclair went to meet with the rest of the group when they came across a large humanoid alligator.
"Turtles!" Leatherhead roared.
"Another mutant?" Aqua asked.
"This one's Leatherhead. He's what's known as Alligator mississippiensis, otherwise known as the American alligator, native to-" Donnie said before Mikey cuts him off.
"Donnie, not now," Mikey said.
"Please don't pull a Raph on me," Donnie said.
"Hey, I'm doing it because Raph isn't here," Mikey said.
"He's not a baby like Tokka and Rahzar, is he?" Ventus asked.
"Not even close," Leatherhead said. "It looks like I'll be having some turtles, and humans for lunch! Along with whatever those are."
"Not if we turn you into a suitcase!" Meowth said.
The fight in the Technodrome continues on. The fight with Shredder and Kraang will be intense, so stay tuned for the next chapter.
