Lincoln later woke up and when he opened his eyes he didn't expect to see what he had saw. He just saw a flash of light beeming into his eyes. Lincoln slowly got up and brushed himself off as he slowly remembered what had just happened. He look in front of him and knew that he had to walk out of the elevator so he did. Lincoln was in some sort of… greenish room with cold tiles on the floor. It was really cold and Erie in this place. Lincoln walked a bit but than the elevator doors had shut behind him. Lincoln yelped… and turned around…
He realized he couldn't escape now… he had to keep walking forward…. And so he did.
When he did some sort if screen lit up with green words. Lincoln began to read it.
"Entry number 1… this is it… time to do what the king has asked me to do? I will create the power to free us all?", read Lincoln in confusion. "What does that even mean?"
Lincoln kept reading
"I will unleash the power of the SOUL?", read Lincoln. "Ok… this is kind of… weird"
Lincoln kept walking and there was another screen.
"Entry number 2… the barrier is locked by SOUL power… unfortunately, this power cannot be recreated artificiallly", read Lincoln. "Wait… what power…?"
Lincoln kept reading
"SOUL power can only be derived from what was once living… so, to create more, we will have to use what we have now… the SOULs of monsters…"
Lincoln was confused…
"What is Alphys trying to do? The power of Souls? Create more? Something seems fishy here", exclaimed Lincoln.
Lincoln walked some more and read another entry.
"Entry number 3, but extracting a SOUL from a living monster would require incredible power… besides being impractical, doing so would instantly destroy the SOUL's host", read Lincoln.
Wait…
"So… if my soul… isn't inside of me and is exposed, I would be destroyed?", wondered Lincoln who didn't know that it works slightly differently for humans.
"And, unlike the persistent SOULs of humans… the SOUL of most monsters disappear immediately upon death… if only I can make a monsters SOUL last"
"Ohhh…. So Alphys is trying to make a monster soul last longer… I guess it's different for humans…", exclaimed Lincoln.
Lincoln walked to the next entry…
"Entry number 5, I've done it"
"Oh wow seems amazing", exclaimed Lincoln.
"Issuing the blueprints, I've extracted it from the human SOULs… I believe this is what gives their SOULs the strength to persist after death"
"But you can't cheat dea- wait a second… didn't I cheat death?", wondered Lincoln.
"The will to keep living… the resolve to change fate… let's call this power…. Determination"
"Determination… that's why… I… didn't permanently die", exclaimed Lincoln. "And Alphys is trying to use this power on monsters so they can live like me too… I don't understand why Alphys feels guilty for this…"
Lincoln would find out soon…
Lincoln then walked up the path
Undertale ost: here we are
Lincoln continued to walk up the path. Eventually… he saw a big door with 4 colors on it. And a save file… Lincoln quickly went to save. Then Lincoln saw another entry thing. So he went over and began to read it again.
"POWER ROOM…"
"Oh wow that's not even an entry", exclaimed Lincoln.
Then Lincoln walked right to the doors but they were locked… so Lincoln started heading to the other direction. But then Lincoln saw strange not on the ground.
He couldn't exactly read it well… but… he read what he could read.
"Elevator… um… lost power… uh… hmm… enter the center door"
"But the center door seems to be locked… I guess I'll head left", exclaimed Lincoln.
And so he did.
When he did Lincoln saw another entry and began to read that one as well…
"Entry number 6… ASGORE asked everyone outside the city for monsters that had 'fallen down'"
"That's kind of a weird request", exclaimed Lincoln.
"Their bodies came in today…"
"What the heck?", said Lincoln in confusion.
"They're still… comatose… and soon, they'll turn into dust… but what happens if I inject 'determination' into them?"
"Ohhhh! So the monsters are almost dead basically… and Alphys wants to use determination to make them live longer", exclaimed Lincoln. "That's actually genuis"
Was it though?
"If their SOULS persist after they perish, then… freedom might be closer than we all thought"
"That's pretty genuis Alphys… why would you even be worried? I wouldn't be… in fact I'd tell everyone about my discovery!", exclaimed Lincoln.
Oh man… sweet innocent Lincoln.
Then Lincoln passes by what seems to be… operating tables… there was some sort of… sticky substance on them….
But Lincoln ignored and kept walking.
Then Lincoln saw a peculiar room… so he went in…
All he found was a not and some sort of key slot… Lincoln knew that he had to put a key into it…
But Lincoln went to read the blurry note…
"Drain… dropped it…"
"Wait…. I saw sinks outside of here maybe I got to turn those on for the key", said Lincoln.
Lincoln walked back out of the room and then looked at the sinks… Lincoln went over and turned the first sink on…
Then the second
Seems totally normal and pointless…
Until Lincoln got to the third sink…
When Lincoln turned it on something really strange came out of it. And it definitely wasn't water at all…
It had like some sort of face…

They didn't seem… normal…
There were different kinds of monsters…. But… these definitely didn't seem normal.
Lincoln was kind of confused… but like before… he pressed the act button.

Lincoln was really confused with the options. Why would items be in act?

The "monsters" started saying…
Hmmm what were they saying?
It all came out in a loud screeching sound and Lincoln had to cover his ears.
Then weird circles popped up around Lincoln and they exploded into faces.
What a strange attack…
But Lincoln easily dodged every… face…
"This… monster definitely isn't normal…", exclaimed Lincoln as he pressed act.
This time… Lincoln decided to go with… CELL
So Lincoln took out the phone
He…
He heard voices in the phone…
"Come join the fun"
"What? That's kind of sus", exclaimed Lincoln.
Lincoln pressed act and instead of ABC it was stated at Memoryhead…
Lincoln chose A Memoryhead and the options wheee different

Lincoln definitely didn't want to join… Them… so he pressed refuse…
The Memoryheads tried to convince Lincoln to join… but there is no way he is.
The circles exploded into faces again and Lincoln easily dodged them. Well his hand was kind of in the way at one point and he got hit… but Lincoln was still fine with 15 HP remaining…
Lincoln saw the name was yellow and immediately went over to spare the "monsters"
This time he didn't earn any gold…
But his SOUL disappeared …
Then Lincoln saw a red key on the sink. So he picked it up and walked into the room again. He put the key into the slot
It made a clicking noise… like it did something.
Lincoln thought about the door so he ran all the way back to the large doors and the little red door. The large door was now glowing red and Indeed the red door was unlocked… so Lincoln entered…
Lincoln saw another entry
"Entry number 12… wait a second… this isn't in order…", exclaimed Lincoln. "But whatever I'll read it.
"Nothing is happening… I don't know what to do… I'll just keep injecting everything with 'determination' I just want this to work"
"Yeah… 'stay determined' Alphys!", joked Lincoln.
Lincoln laughed a bit at his own joke… but he kept walking…
"Entry number 13… one of the bodies opened its eyes…"
"Oh! Maybe the technique worked!", exclaimed Lincoln as he smiled.
Lincoln kept walking and he saw a crap ton of beds all in lines. And a random dog bowl…
Lincoln walked around the beds and he saw another save so he saved. Lincoln turned right and kept walking. He saw a bunch of flowers and some mirrors.
"Entry number 7…"
"Ok now it's in order"
"We'll need a vessel to wield monster SOULs when the time comes… after all, a monster cannot absorb the SOULs of other monsters… just as a human cannot absorb a human SOUL…"
"So… a human can absorb a monster soul and vice versa?", wondered Lincoln.
"So then… what about something that's neither human nor monster?"
"How Can that be possible?"
Lincoln looked at the flowers…
"Wait… plants… flowers… they are living… wait a second… did… Alphys create Flowey?", wondered Lincoln.
Lincoln was kind of confused at the moment but he decided to keep waking foward.
"Entry number 10"
"Again… it's out of order!", exclaimed Lincoln.
"Experiments on the vessel are a failure… it doesn't seem to be any different from the control cases… whatever… they're a hassle to work anyway… the seeds just stick to you, and won't let go"
"So Alphys injected determination into a plant… that's like shoving MY soul into a tree", said Lincoln.
Anyways… Lincoln kept walking…
That is until…
He saw himself in the mirrors…
Lincoln just started at himself. He didn't know why but he did…
After a while… he saw something strange
It was still himself but…………
He was… using some sort of… blaster thing… with his eye… red… and black.
He wasn't wearing his normal clothes rather… san's clothing… but orange….
But it was only for a split second… and Lincoln didn't see the illusion anymore.
Lincoln decided to shrug it off… and kept walking.
But then… he saw another smile that emerged into a strange creature….
Fight engage!
Um…
This monster seemed
Weird…
It obviously wasn't normal…
Lincoln pressed act and a whole bunch of options appeared…

Lincoln was confused… like… there were 3 different monster options in one…
Or…
Lincoln figured it out…
This was 3 monsters combined into one…
But how?
Does it have something to do with… determination?
Not that's impossible… right?
Lincoln just decided to what he he normally does for… those 3 monsters…

Lincoln never actually used that option… but… he decided to do something mysterious
Lincoln didn't what he was doing… but he put his hand out like he was… holding something…
And then… a red sword began forming in his hand…
But immediately it disappeared and it electrocuted Lincoln… making his hair turn a little red.
"Lincoln! Don't do that!", exclaimed Chara.
"Ugh………. Sorry I didn't know what even just happened", said Lincoln while holding his head in pain.
The monster seemed amused to that…
Somehow that worked…

Lincoln could understand the monster. Like everyone was talking at once…
Then a weird looking person thing stood there and got corrupted by butterflies it seems.
Really strange…
Act
Lincoln didn't know which option… but he chose hum…
He started humming that song he heard earlier…
Finale…
Didn't seem to do anything….
Then all of sudden the butterfly man appeared and it was shooting butterflies at him. Lincoln tried to dodge but he got hit in the hand…
Lincoln winced… his hand was most likely broken, if not sprained.
He didn't know butterflies were so dangerous…
Lincoln pressed act with his good hand this time…
Lincoln didn't know… but he chose pick on..
"Hey you… you look weird", exclaimed Lincoln.
That seemed effective actually.
Then the man thing heads multiplied but Lincoln was standing in this certain spot in the bottom right corner. And he didn't get hit…
This time… he chose act and decided to choose pray..
Lincoln just got on his knees and… yeah prayed…
Prayed for safety
Reaper Bird remembered something
"Ohhh so this monster is reaper bird", exclaimed Lincoln.
Then man shot butterflies again… Lincoln swiftly dodged every single butterfly.
Then Reaper Bird's name was yellow and Lincoln pressed spare
Still won nothing…
Lincoln just stood there confused
How was 3 monsters combined into 1?
What's wrong with these monsters so far?
Lincoln didn't really understand.
But he continued to walk forth…
He went into a room… with a blue key a lot and a note..
"Cold"
"That seriously all I can read", exclaimed Lincoln.
Lincoln sighed and turned back around…
He walked all the way back to the room with all the beds.
Lincoln decided to save again…
Lincoln didn't realize this entry before, and so he read it..
"Entry number 14, everyone that had fallen down… has woken up… they're all walking around and talking like nothing is wrong… I thought they were goners?"
"Well… they surely aren't! I still understand why Alphys feels guilty… but… what about those other 2 monsters?", wondered Lincoln. "They didn't seem right…"
Then Lincoln walked in the room above the bed room and he decided to walk right.
The music stopped and it was awfullly cold in there. There were a bunch of fans and little white partials floating around…
"Entry number 11, now that Mettatons made it big, he never talks to me anymore…"
"Wait what?", wondered Lincoln.
"… except to ask when I'm going to finish his body"
"Wait… that's actually kind of sad", exclaimed Lincoln.
"But I'm afraid if I finish his body…"
…
"He won't need me anymore… then we'll never be friends ever again…"
"That's… really depressing", exclaimed Lincoln in a sad tone.
"… not to mention, every time I tu to work on it, I just get really sweaty"
"Um… ok that kind of random", exclaimed Lincoln.
Then Lincoln kept walking through the cold room. And then he saw the switch…
He pressed it…
The fans turned on but…
Those little partials started forming something…
And it fully formed into…
Some dog… that was melted, like other dogs melted into each other…
It was really creeping Lincoln out…
Lincoln was actually really scared. The dog thing came closer and closer, making a really strange noise as it did.
This definitely wasn't normal, and there is something very wrong here…
The dog thing got so close…
Fight engaged!
A really strange nose was playing…
It's the amalgamate…
Lincoln was actually really terrified… this… thing was so creepy.
Lincoln almost didn't want to even spare, rather kill it.
Yes Lincoln didn't want to kill anything before… but this? Was this even a monster?
Lincoln pressed fight and the knife appeared, Lincoln tried to strike but…
Just a bunch of red letters appeared, and The force Lincoln put on the amalgamate had deflected onto himself… making Lincoln's HP go down…
Didn't help the fact that a mini dog with a circle face spit out sword looking things. Which some of them stabbed Lincoln…
Lincoln needed to heal so that's wheat he did. He ate a glamburger and his HP was full and his injuries gone.
Then the mini dog turned into a rocket thing, and started chasing Lincoln. Lincoln ran as fast as he could. In all directions… fortunately he was able to dodge the melted looking creature.
Lincoln really didn't want to do anything… he didn't want to do anything in act… he just wanted to escape it…
Maybe there was another way?
Lincoln went to items to see if anything could help…

The stick Lincoln had a while ago… maybe that will help…

Lincoln threw the stick…
Endogoney went and grabbed the stick and brought it back to Lincoln….
Lincoln picked up the stick… it was… STICKy (ok sorry I had to make a Sans joke) but Lincoln decided to throw the stick again.
Endogoney went to fetch it and it did. Brought it back to Lincoln.
Lincoln decided to throw the stick one more time and endogoney was really happy… endgoney really enjoyed playing fetch with Lincoln
Endogoney is contented…

He won nothing again…
And the fight ended
"That was… r-really creepy…", exclaimed Lincoln out of fear. "Something is definitely w-wrong here".
Lincoln wanted to try and find out why exactly, why were those monsters like this?
Then Lincoln walked out of the fan room, and then he kept heading straight to see what he could find…
"Entry number 15, Seems like research was a dead end… but at least we got a happy ending out of it…?"
"Why does Alphys not seem excited about this?", wondered Lincoln.
"I sent the SOULS back to ASGORE, retuned the vessel to his garden… and I called all the families and told everyone's alive, I'll send everyone back tomorrow : )"
"Oh seems… great… but those monsters still don't make sense… something must've went wrong but what?", asked Lincoln as he walked to the next entry.
"Entry number 16, no No NO NO NO NO NO"
"Ooook? That's a strange entry…", exclaimed Lincoln.
Lincoln kept walking
And he saw a room…
He went in
But what he saw was horrific… something in the shower was moving… Lincoln slowly walked up to it as he was deathly afraid..,
It got more wild and louder…
Lincoln slowly touched the curtain and moved it quickly…
Oh… nothing there… just a green key…
Lincoln was still frightened tho as he picked up the key… then Lincoln ran back out of the room. And continued to walk ahead.
There was a room… and Lincoln walked in
There was note… bookshelves… and a tv… with a yellow key slot… and another entry…
"Entry number 4? Isn't that too early?", wondered Lincoln.
"I've been researching humans to see if I can find any info about their SOULS. I ended up snooping around the castle…"
"Ok you really shouldn't do that", exclaimed Lincoln.
"And I found these weird tapes, I don't feel like ASGORE's watched them… I don't think he should…"
"Ok… that's a little strange", said Lincoln as he noticed the tapes were right here in this room.
Lincoln decided to watch… some of them… just to see… what are the tapes? So he took the first one and put it in the VHS player…
There wasn't any visual but audio…
A voice sounded like Toriel…
"Pssst… Gorey, wake up…", exclaimed Toriel.
The next voice sounded like Asgore…
"Mmm? What is it dear?", asked Asgore.
"… err, and why do you have that video camera?"
"Shush! I want to get your reaction… Gorey, dearest… what is my favorite vegetable?", asked Toriel.
"Hmm… carrots? Right?", asked Asgore,
"No no no! My FAVORITE vegetable is… Eda-MOM-e … get it???", joked Toriel.

"Go back to bed, dear", said Asgore.
"No no!! Not yet! Hee hee hee.. now, if I were a dog what breed of dog would I be?", asked Toriel.

After the film was over Lincoln just had a blank expression on his face. Like he just listened to the cringiest podcast ever. Lincoln really did want to watch all the other tapes… but he decided to just watch all of them… you never know… it could have some useful info…
Lincoln started watching tape 2…
It was still a dark screen…
It was a voice… that Lincoln never heard before…
"Okay, Lincoln, are you ready?", asked the voice.
What?
How the hell did a tape recording… have someone say Lincoln's name?
Lincoln was really confused….
"Do your creepy face!", said the kid.
"AHHHHH!! Hee hee hee! Oh! Wait! I had the lens cap on… what!? You're not gonna do it again…? Come on, quit tricking me! Haha!"
Then the tape ended…
That was really strange
"How… how did they… know my name? I don't understand…", exclaimed Lincoln as he decided to watch tape 3…
It was still… blackness…
"Howdy, Lincoln! Smile for the camera!", said the same kid from before.
"What the heck? How?", wondered Lincoln,
"Ha, this time I got YOU! I left the cap on… ON PURPOSE!Now you're smiling got nooo reason! Hee hee hee!"
Wow what a good prank…
"What? Oh, yeah, I remember… when we tried to make butterscotch pie for dad, right? The recipe asked for cups of butter… but we accidentally put in buttercups instead, yeah! Those flowers got him really sick., I felt to bad… we made mom really upset… I should have laughed it off, like you did… um, anyway, where are you going with this? Huh? Turn off the camera…? Ok"
And the tape ended…
Lincoln was extremely confused… this was all kind of random. And… how? How did they know Lincoln's name? Did someone else also have the name of Lincoln?
Lincoln sighed and went to watch tape 4
It was still blackness like you guessed….
It was the same voice…
"I… i don't like this idea, Lincoln… wh… what? N-no, I'm not… big kids don't cry…"
"What? That's not true… everyone cries… but… I think I did THAT too much…", exclaimed Lincoln,
"Yeah, you're right… No! I'd never doubt you, Lincoln… never! Y…yeah! We'll be strong! Well free everyone… I'll go get the flowers"
The tape ended…
"Wait… is… um… is someone killing themselves with flowers? That… seems strange…", exclaimed Lincoln.
And he went to watch tape five while still extremely confused.
"Lincoln… can you hear me? We want you to wake up…", said Toriel.
Lincoln felt really uncomfortable with Toriel and that other kid saying his name… and not even referring to him…
"Lincoln! You have to stay determined!", exclaimed Asgore.
"Ummmm…. This is very awkward…", exclaimed Lincoln.
"You can't give up… you are the future of humans and monsters…", said Asgore.
…
"Psst… Lincoln… please… wake up…", said that kid… "I don't like this plan anymore… I… I… … no, I said… I said I'd never doubt you… six, right? We just need to get six… and we'll do it together right?"
The tape ended…
"Six? Six human SOULs? I don't… I don't really understand", exclaimed Lincoln.
Then Lincoln put the tapes back… and he turned around… he saw a note on the ground…
"Under… sheets"
"Wait a second… the beds… the key must be under the sheets of one of those beds…", exclaimed Lincoln.
Then Lincoln quickly ran all the way back to the beds. He noticed one of the beds had sheets that were higher than the other sheets… so he looked underneath of it…
There was indeed a yellow key hiding under it… so Lincoln picked it up. Then ran all the way back to the room… and put the key in the slot…
But Lincoln wanted to see if there were anymore things hiding under the bed sheets so Lincoln ran back to the beds.
Lincoln went around and checked the beds but… nothing…
Lincoln just shrugged it off and looked at the save… he decided to do that… then he went all the way back to that room except he didn't go in that room… he just saw another save. And he decided to walk up to it.
But then… it smiled at him?
Then it emerged and
Fight engaged!
It looked like this melty thing… with teeth, eyes and a weird looking body. It looked… disgusting…
Lincoln took a deep breath… he really didn't like these amalgamates… and it scared Lincoln…
It smelled like lemons
Lemonbread…
Lincoln pressed act and…

Lincoln didn't know… but… he just chose… flex… because some of Lemonbread body kind of looked liked Aaron…
So Lincoln flexed liek how he did with Aaron…
Lemonbread shook a bit… it seemed to be effective…

It was said 8 times at the same time…
Then… all of a sudden… Lincoln was surrounded by Lemonbreads teeth, Lincoln didn't know how to dodge that attack. Lincoln was scared and confused…
And yet Lemonbread at bit down right on top of Lincoln… and…
It's like Lincoln was getting stabbed like he did during the Flowey fight.
And boy… after that attack Lincoln was physically and mentally unstable… he was having traumatic flashbacks, and Lincoln's body was covered in stab wounds…
Lincoln was shaking in fear. Lemonbread was probably the worst… amalgamate…
Even though Lincoln's HP was 10… Lincoln still went to items to heal his injuries… so he ate the glamburger and… he was ok…
But nobody came x8
Then instead of the teeth chomping attack it was a much easier attack… it was just little circles flashing blue and orange coming out of Lemonbreads eyes… Lincoln carefully, bust surely dodge the attack.
Then he went to act and decided to…
Hmmm
What could Lincoln do that would be helpful to Lemonbread…
Lincoln chose hum… and this time… he hummed that song he heard in the home a while ago before the Asgore fight.
That song was just really beautiful…
And… it seemed to be effective on Lemonbread!
Then it was the nightmare attack… Lincoln just didn't know.. how… to dodge this attack.. so… he got stabbed again… but not as bad as before
But still traumatic…
Lincoln was gritting his teeth as blood slowly poured down his body. Lincoln didn't really want to waste… his food but… he didn't have a choice… he was in too much pain…
He ate the glamburger and felt better….

Lincoln shook his head and the easy attack had come again. So Lincoln took his time but he managed to dodge the flashing circles.
Then after the attack Lincoln went to press act again…
Well… cry and scream didn't seem like they would be helpful… call? Probably not
But unhug seemed useless too…
But Lincoln pressed it and stood there… Staring fearfully into Lemonbreads eyes.
It seemed effective tho

Then the death attack came again… and Lincoln still failed to notice how to dodge the attack. And got stabbed for the 3rd time with Lemonbread… almost dying this time…
Fortunately Lemonbread could be spared
But Lincoln was covered in blood and he was I pain… like he didn't already experience that before..
but Lincoln decided to press spare despite everything…
Lincoln still won nothing…
But before Lincoln could do anything… Lincoln quickly ate another glamburger he had.so he HP was fully restored… and his injuries would be gone…
Lincoln was really afraid now… he had no idea how those… Things exist… but Lincoln needed more answers so he read the next entry..
Actually it wasn't an entry
"DT EXTRACTION MACHINE STATUS: INACTIVE"
"Wait… DT? Determination? Determination extractor?", wondered Lincoln. "So that's what that thing is? Strange"
Lincoln kept walking and saw a few fans and fridges. And another entry…
"Entry number 19, the families keep calling me to ask when everyone is coming home… what am I supposed to say? I don't even answer the phone anymore…"
"Wait… those THINGS families? I wouldn't know what to say either… 'congratulations your family member had melted into another monster and can't even speak full sentences correctly?'", exclaimed Lincoln.
Lincoln decided to check the forged for something but…
It was empty
The second one at samples of some sort but Lincoln didn't know of what…
"Entry number 20… ASGORE left me five messages today… four about everyone being angry… one about this cute teacup he found that looks like me"
"Ok that last part caught me off guard", exclaimed Lincoln.
"Thanks Asgore"
"I guess Asgore helped Alphys cheer up a bit…", exclaimed Lincoln.
The third fridge was vibrating… but nothing was in there when Lincoln checked…

"Oh thats why we were 'dating' at the garbage dump", exclaimed Lincoln.

Lincoln chuckled a bit.. and check the 4th fridge…
Some sort of samples… same at the second fridge..
The 5the fridge was empty…
And there was also a room…
But the fridge… turned into an amalgamate.., Lincoln got scared…
Fight engaged!
The music was a really disoriented version of Snowdin… and… what seemed to be… Snowdrake but…
It seemed to have fused with… vegetoids… and even so… Snowdrake had melted… and the snowflake in the middle of its head looked like a weird person thing.
Lincoln was shocked… this was really scary and depressing… he kind of wish he never skipped the snowdrake battle he encountered long ago…
Lincoln hesitantly pressed act and a few options appeared…

Lincoln felt like… he needed to cheer snowdrake… thing… up… so Lincoln pressed joke
"Hey uh… amalgamate thing… it's Ice to see you", joked Lincoln.
Her expression started to shift…
"Haha I…"
And snowdrake didn't even Try to attack Lincoln… her attacks kind of… didn't even reach Lincoln.
Lincoln didn't know what he was feeling but he decided to joke again…
"Hey amalgamate… what kind of math do snow owls like? Owl- gebra", joked Lincoln.
Snowdrake expression changes more…
Haha… thank… you…
Snowdrake didn't even try to hit Lincoln again. The attacks just went around him…
Lincoln sighed… and pressed joke again…
"Hey… what falls during winter and never gets hurt? Snow!", joked Lincoln.
Snowdrake is completely calm…
Lincoln had won but warned nothing like usual…
Lincoln then saw a blue key in the ground… so he went over and picked it up…
He went into the room… and saw a note
"Curtain"
"I already… got the green key in the curtain room", exclaimed Lincoln.
Then Lincoln put the green key into the key slot. And it made a clicking noise…
Then Lincoln walked Alllllll the way back to the room near all the flowers… and put the blue key in the slot…
Now that door must've been unlocked now… so Lincoln walked past the beds and back into the main room… then he walked in the now unlocked door…
He walked into an elevator but it still didn't have any power… but there was another path… so Lincoln took it…
The entry's thing we're off… but Lincoln didn't care… he just kept walking…
He saw a thing that kind of look like a generator… maybe that could power the elevator…
So Lincoln turned the switch on…
But…
When Lincoln turned around… a whole bunch of amalgamated had appeared. Lincoln was horrified. They were all melted into each other while smiling really creepily. And making weird noises…
This was… terrifying to Lincoln.
Lincoln fell backwards in fear and shaking. He was extremely scared at this point. He didn't want the amalgamates to hurt him…
And…
Lincoln didn't want to melt himself…
He was actually terrified of that… that would be scary…. And disgusting. Imagine waking up one day and your skin was slightly liquidy and you realize you are melting…
Lincoln was shaking so much in fear that he was actually crying a bit…
But then…
"Hey! Stop!!!"
The amalgamates stopped…
Then Alphys appeared
Lincoln never thought he would be more relieved to see Alphys.
"I got you guys some food, okay!?", exclaimed Alphys.
Then the amalgamates happily ran off…
"Sorry about that…", apologized Alphys.
"Um… I guess that's fine…", exclaimed Lincoln as he slowly got up.
"They get kind of sassy when they don't get fed on time…", said Alphys.
"O-oh ok… then…", said Lincoln.
"Um!! Anyway! The power went out, and I've been trying to turn it back on!", exclaimed Alphys.
"But I already turned the power on I think…", exclaimed Lincoln.
"Ummm… yeah you did… so this was probably just a big inconvenience for you…", said Alphys.
"Y-yeah… honestly… this was terrifying", exclaimed Lincoln.
"S-sorry about that… b-but I appreciate that you came here to back me up!", exclaimed Alphys.
"Y-yeah sure"
"As I said, I was afraid I might… not come back… but that's not because of these guys or anything!", exclaimed Alphys.
"Then why?", asked Lincoln.
"I was just worried I would be too afraid… to tell the truth…that I might run away or do something….", exclaimed Alphys.
"Well… despite… all of them… you still need to tell their families…", exclaimed Lincoln.
"Y-yeah but I-I'm such a coward", exclaimed Alphys.
"Alphys no your not… it's just… I don't understand… all of… those", exclaimed Lincoln.
"I supposed I owe an explanation…", exclaimed Alphys.
"Um yeah…"
"As you probably know, ASGORE asked me to study the nature of SOULS", exclaimed Alphys.
"I remember reading something about that", exclaimed Lincoln.
"Yeah… during my research, I isolated power called 'determination' I injected it into dying monsters so their SOULs would last after death…", exclaimed Alphys.
"Yes… I read all about that…", said Lincoln.
"Yeah… well… the experiment failed… you see, unlike humans… monsters bodies don't have enough… physical matter to take those concentration of 'determination'", exclaimed Alphys.
"So humans are more physical than monsters?", wondered Lincoln.
"Yeah because Monsters are part magic…and since if that when I injected determination… their bodies started to melt, and lost what physically they had…", explained Alphys.
"Oh… that makes sense…", exclaimed Lincoln.
"Pretty soon, all of the test subjects had melted together into… those…", exclaimed Alphys.
"I see…"
"Seeing them like this, I knew… I couldn't tell their families about it…", said Alphys.
"Well to be honest… if I melted families together into one I wouldn't want to tell ajilen about it", exclaimed Lincoln.
"Y-yeah I just couldn't tell anyone… no matter how much everyone was asking me… and I was too afraid to do any more work knowing… everything if font so far had been such a horrific failure…", exclaimed Alphys.
"Oh that… is horrible… but wait a minute… something doesn't make sense here", said Lincoln.
"What is it?", asked Alphys.
"So you had extracted Determination from all the other human souls… Bravery, Justice, Kindness, Patience, Integrity, and Perseverance right?", asked Lincoln.
"Um yeah that's true… each soul has a little determination", exclaimed Alphys.
"Well what about MY soul? It's just pure determination…", exclaimed Lincoln.
"Well… determination… it can be a very powerful thing… so powerful that… you could possibly even access its actual power… now… I don't exactly know what that is since I quit my research on determination… but I know… that… one day… you'll discover the true power of determination… consider yourself special", explained Alphys.
"Wow… that's actually incredible… but how do I access it?", asked Lincoln.
"Y-you can't manually… you have to be really determined… with nothing else blocked your ability to do so… if there is something blocking it… then… I don't think it will be possible", exclaimed Alphys. "Unless you break it…"
Lincoln had just thought about what Alphys said…
Remember when Lincoln did something mysterious to reaper bird and that sword started forming in his hand? But Lincoln got electrocuted and Chara told him to stop…
Chara was the wall blocking that power… but Lincoln could 'break' Chara… so… I don't think Lincoln will ever be able to access pure determination….
"Well thanks for answering my questions Alphys…", thanked Lincoln.
"N-no problem! And because of you… now I've changed my mind about all this… I'm going to tell everyone what I've done", exclaimed Alphys.
"That so much better than keeping it a secret", exclaimed Lincoln.
…
"Yeah… but this is going to be hard", exclaimed Alphys.
"Yeah it might be tough to tell the truth sometimes… but telling the truth is better for everyone… unless your mom says she won't get mad at you for telling the truth and you tell the truth and she gets mad and punishes you", exclaimed Lincoln.
"Um…… yeah… ok… well I'll just be honest and believe in myself… and you are right… there will be times where I'll struggle… and maybe even screw up again… but knowing, deep down, that I have friends ti fall back on", exclaimed Alphys.
"Yeah… I'll help you in any way possible Alphys… I'm glad that we can be friends… despite all the circumstances", exclaimed Lincoln.
"M-me too! Also because of you… a lot of my problems will be a lot easier to stand on my own… thank you", thanked Alphys.
"You're welcome Alphys…", said Lincoln.
The amalgamates came back…
"Come on guys… it's time for everyone to go home…", exclaimed Alphys.
Then everyone left, leaving Lincoln standing there alone…
Lincoln sighed… he was happy that he helped Alphys… but he was still confused about the 'determination' thing…
But Lincoln decided to ignore it and walked back out of the room so he can go back up the elevator…
But the screen thing was a strange looking smile…
Lincoln went to read it
"Entry number 8, I've chosen a candidate… I haven't told ASGORE yet, because I want to surprise him with it… in the center of his garden

There's something special… the first golden flower…. That grew before the others…."
"No… so… wait… wait Lemme keep reading"
"The flower from the outside world… it appeared just before the queen left… I wonder… what happened when something without a SOUL gains the will to live?"
"Omg… there is no way… when I thought this eariler it wasn't too serious until now…", exclaimed Lincoln as he decided to read the next entry.
"Entry number 18, the flowers gone…"
"It's flowey… Alphys had created Flowey… but how? Wouldn't Alphys need someone who was already living? Unless flowey was actually someone else… but who?", wondered Lincoln.
Then Lincoln went back to the elevator… but…
He got a call…
It was a voice he never heard before….
"Lincoln… are you there?", asked that voice.
Lincoln was really freaked out… he didn't know how this person knew his name… and he knew it was a monster since he didn't have a cellphone with human service on it….
"Y-yeah I'm here…"
"It's been a long time, hasn't it…?"
"Uhh…"
"But you've done well… thanks to you, everything has fallen I to place.. Lincoln… see you soon"
Then the call hung up… and it left Lincoln extremely confused… who was this guy he was gonna meet?
But Lincoln didn't have much time to think as the elevator shook and it began to rise up very quickly, after a second Lincoln had been thrown out of the elevator and it had been wrapped around with vines… Lincoln couldn't go back…
Also he recognized this place…
But where was he supposed to go?
Was he supposed to fight Asgore again?
Maybe something different will happen?
Lincoln wasn't sure, but the only way to find out… was to actually go and find out…
So Lincoln had took the elevators through the home area and went through the corridor again… he went through ASGORE's garden… and through a bit of hallways…

Ok… the next 1 or 2 chapters will be the last chapters… I honestly cannot believe it… I just remember a long time ago… 15 days after the Loud house movie first debuted onto Netflix I posted the 1st chapter of this story… and now it's getting close to the end… ngl I will miss writing this story almost every day… well… have a nice day everyone! (Also I seriously had to Google "snow jokes" lmao!)
