1985 - Present day. Wayne Manor.

Bruce woke up. He looked at his surroundings. He could see that he was back at Wayne Manor. He looked down. Bruce saw that he no longer was wearing his Batman outfit. He was now wearing a grey long sleeved shirt. Bruce was wearing some jeans. He was in his bedroom. The room was dimly lit. Bruce Wayne's room had many things.

More things than what you'd expect a 14 year old kid to have in a bedroom. He had various VHS tapes of various shows, including but not limited to: Dallas, He Man and the Masters of the Universe, Dynasty, Family Matters, Transformers and several other shows. He also had VHS movies like: Tron, WarGames, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Taxi Driver, Attack of the Tomatoes and The Fog, among several others. The VHS tapes were all stacked in a bookshelf. Bruce also had several books. He had an Atari 2600 hooked up to his TV. The TV was a 25 inch Panasonic box television with 25 channels.

He had a nightstand beside his bed. On that nightstand were a bunch of cassette tapes from various rock artists such as: Motley Crue, The Beach Boys, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Kinks and many other artists. Bruce got up off of his bed slowly. He turned on the lamp. He could now see things clearly in his room. He walked to his door. He saw sunlight streaming through Bruce's bedroom. It was morning. Bruce smelt the satisfying aroma of bacon and hash browns. Bruce walked out of his room. He walked towards the kitchen. Alfred was in the kitchen making bacon, eggs and hash browns. Bruce sat down in the chair. Alfred turned to Bruce.

"Good morning, Master Bruce." Alfred said to Bruce.

"Good morning, Alfred." Bruce said.

"How'd you sleep?" Alfred asked Bruce.

"I slept great. Thanks for asking." said Bruce.

"That's great to hear." Alfred said.

Bruce ate his breakfast. Bruce thought about how he was going to balance high school with his Batman career. It was already bad enough that he had just started his Batman career, he had to worry about high school on top of that. It wasn't like he had other relatives to bring him to school. He had an uncle and aunt who lived in a city that was 3 miles from Gotham City. They rarely saw Bruce. It wasn't that they didn't care about Bruce. It was just that they lived farther away from Bruce.

Bruce considered living with his aunt and uncle, but if Bruce was away, who would protect Gotham City. He worried that if he came back to Gotham to visit Alfred, he would find Wayne Manor trashed up and Alfred unconscious. He didn't want to endure that situation. So Bruce decided he would much rather stay in Gotham than in the city where his aunt and uncle lived. The city that Bruce's aunt and uncle lived was called Johnson's Creek. Unlike Gotham, Johnson's Creek was a peaceful town where crime rarely happened. Crime was so rare that jails were non existent in the city. Compared to Gotham, which had enough jails to fill up an remote island.

After breakfast, Bruce went jogging in the area around his mansion. He was listening to the song: "I'm Going to be (500) Miles" by The Proclaimers. That was Bruce's favorite song. He liked the melody. It was one of Bruce's feel good songs. The song was part of a mix tape that Bruce compiled back when he was travelling the world. He picked up the songs from different radios from around the world. He then compiled them into his own personal mix tape.

Midway through the song, Bruce was running, when suddenly, he ran over a loose wooden board and he fell down a hole. He fell only a few feet, but for Bruce, it felt as if he was falling for eternity. Bruce landed to the ground with a thud. He got up slowly. He checked his body for any broken bones and bruises. Bruce also checked to see if he was bleeding. The surroundings were very dark. So dark he couldn't see anything. The only light source was form the hole above his head. It was fairly far away. Bruce couldn't tell if he had any bruises from the fall. He moved all of his limbs. Bruce's limbs were thankfully not broken.

He tried to look around in the darkness. The cassette player thankfully still worked. Bruce wished he had a flashlight. Had he have had known that he was going to fall down a well, he would've brought a flashlight. Bruce decided to check his pants pockets to see if he had happen to have a flashlight on him. Luckily for him, he just so happened to have a flashlight on him. Bruce didn't remember having him picked up his flashlight. Then, he remembered that he had to use a flashlight while entering Scarecrow's nightmare world a few days ago. It was so dark that Bruce had no choice but to bring a flashlight with him.

Bruce must've put his flashlight inside one of his pants at some point. Bruce turned on the flashlight. He shined the flashlight around the cave. The cave was dark and moist. Bruce could hear the sound of a bat's wings flapping. Bruce shone the flashlight in the dark, damp cave. He found a light switch. The whole place lit up like a Christmas tree. Bruce could see a tiered pedestal along with many tubes with costumes in them. This was the moment that would change Bruce Wayne's life forever. This was when a 14 year old kid named Bruce Wayne discovered the Batcave.
