Chapter 2
Escape From the Shadow Realm
Jeremiah finally comes to. When he wakes up, he finds himself in the Shadow Realm chained on the wall with chains made out of pitch-black stones. He looks around the dimly lit purplish room, but nobody else was there. He decides to try his Light Burst, closing his eyes and attempting to concentrate his energy outward in a big burst. But nothing happened as the chains rattle a little from the small movement of his attempt. Then, Darkness comes in.
"I see you finally came to. In case you're wondering why your powers don't work," starts Darkness.
"How did you know, are you a mind reader?" interrupts Jeremiah.
"No. Anyway, those chains are made of Dark Citanite."
"What's Dark Citanite?"
"I'm glad you asked. Dark Citanite is Citanite infused with shadow energy. I created it myself."
"To use against me?"
"Yes, that's right. Unfortunately, it only works with the powers that turn physical. Anyway, I got a question for you. What is the Agency of the 5th World?"
"How do you know about it?"
"I read your memory while you were knocked out. I may not be a mind reader, but I can invade your mind."
"Figures."
"However, your mind powers prevented me from finding out anything else. Either, you figured out how to control your powers in your sleep or they have a mind of its own."
"The second one is right."
"Seriously!? Your powers have a mind of its own!"
"Yes. Òøø˚ ˆ˜†ø µ¥ ´¥´ß."
"What did you say?"
He looks into Jeremiah's eyes which start glowing blue on eye contact. Jeremiah went into his mind. It is pitch black in there. The perfect environment for Darkness to sneak up on Jeremiah. If he didn't have Citaloanin Sight, that is. Citaloanin Sight allows Jeremiah to see everything. No matter how far it is or how dark it is. The flaw in this power, though, is he sees everything in blue and while in use his eyes glow blue. Now, Jeremiah takes over Darkness's body. The flaw in this power is the host's eye color changes to the color of Jeremiah's eyes while he's in control. If he hadn't mastered his shape shifting abilities, it would be quite difficult to move around Darkness simply because of his form, or lack thereof where he has no limbs at the bottom of his being therefore having to move around by shifting his whole shadowy being across surfaces. While he looks around for something that could help him get back to the Agency, he ran into the Evil Robloxian, a Robloxian with a completely black design, red eyes, and a truly devilish face complete with the signature shadow marking. He looks into Darkness's eyes and reacts, "Darkness has been taken over." He sounds the alarm.
Jeremiah exits Darkness's body placing him directly in front of him. He starts running, no clear goal in mind. Darkness shouts, "Get him!" Then, every minion he has starts attacking him. Jeremiah was too weak to use his Light Turbo Form. So, he uses his Light Burst instead to get them off his back. Unfortunately, he has taken heavy damage from the last fight severely weaking him in every aspect. He reaches Darkness's portal machine and uses it to open a portal. Suddenly, he was surrounded.
"I figured you would head here. You're still too weak to use your spacial powers. So you needed a portal. It doesn't matter if you escape or not. While you were in my mind, instead of forcing you out, which I could have done easily, I used the opportunity to find out more. I broke a bit more of the barrier. I couldn't break any more of it, though. I, at least, found out the location of the Agency. Soon I will attack the Agency and there is nothing you can do to stop me. Mu ha ha ha!"
"I was so weak, I didn't see it coming. I got to warn the Agency," states a weakened Jeremiah.
He walks through the portal ending up in the forest near the Agency. He levitates as fast as he can in that state to it.
