Episode 483: Kairi vs Trip
After winning his tenth Gym Badge in a rematch with Marlon, Sora went to Nurse Joy and to show his ten Gym Badges to Nurse Joy.
"I have acquired ten Gym Badges," Sora said.
"That is quite impressive," Nurse Joy said. "Just you know, the tournament doesn't start until less than five months away."
"I know. I learned that it'll be in Vertress City. And which way would Harmony City be? My girlfriend is a Pokémon Coordinator, so she'll be competing in it," Sora said.
"That means she has obtained five required Contest Ribbons?" Nurse Joy asked.
"That's right," Sora answered.
"It's just down the road. You might get there within a few days. There is a place you can stay even before the Grand Festival begins," Nurse Joy explained.
"Thanks," Sora said.
After a talk with Nurse Joy, Sora filled the group in about the Grand Festival and and location of Harmony City. After retrieving his Pokémon from Nurse Joy, Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Cameron, Iris, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Axew, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, Riolu, and Meloetta all have a celebratory meal in the messhall for both of Sora and Kairi's success.
"Okay, let's all celebrate the success of Sora for winning Badge number ten, and Kairi for winning Ribbon number five," Cilan said.
"I can eat to that," Meowth said.
"Thanks, guys. We all met our goals here in Unova, so the only thing left is to train for the Grand Festival and the Unova Pokémon League," Sora said.
"Sora's right. Everything he worked should be able to pay off and put to the ultimate test," Terra said.
"Yeah, Sora has to win the Unova Pokémon League and Kairi has to win the Grand Festival!" Ventus said.
"Hold it, shorty! Who says he's gonna win the Unova Pokémon League? I'm the one who's going to win it!" Cameron said.
"That's the spirit, Cameron," Sora said. "Just know when we face off in the Unova Pokémon League, I don't plan on holding back. But, we can worry about that after you win your eighth Gym Badge."
"You planning on earning more than eight, Cameron?" Karen asked. "Because eight is the required amount, and
"I think I'm gonna stick with eight. I wouldn't have been qualified if you didn't tell me I had to win at least eight," Cameron said.
"Oh, I can't imagine the disappointment," Meowth said.
"Anyway, what'll be your strategy for your match?" Sora asked.
"I have no idea!" Cameron said. The rest of the group all sighed.
"Well, I think your Ferrothorn is your best bet since he's a Grass Type Pokémon," Kairi pointed out.
"She's not wrong, Cameron," Cilan agreed. "Your Ferrothorn is an obvious choice."
"Yeah, maybe you're right," Cameron said.
On the next day, Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Axew, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, and Eclair were now watching Cameron in his Gym battle against Marlon.
"The battle between the Gym Leader Marlon and the challenger Cameron is about to begin! Both trainers will be using four Pokémon each! During the battle, only the challenger is allowed to make substitutions anytime. Choose and begin!" The referee announced. Marlon took out his first Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Jellicent!" Marlon called out. His Jellicent came on out to battle.
"Okay, Kairi said Ferrothorn is a Grass Type, so Grass Types are good choices against Water Types," Cilan said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Ferrothorn!" Ferrothorn came on out to battle.
"You sure sending Ferrothorn out is a good idea? He could barely stand," Iris said.
"Ferrothorn won't take much damage from Water Type moves, so he'll be fine," Kairi said.
"She's right," Karen said. "Let's see how he'll do."
"Challenger gets the first move," Marlon said.
"Ferrothorn! Use Pin Missle!" Cameron ordered. Ferrothorn fires Pin Missle at Jellicent.
"Down!" Marlon called out. Jellicent dove down, and remerged. "Use Shadow Ball!" Jellicent fires Shadow Ball right at the thorn pod Pokémon.
"Dodge it!" Cameron called out. Ferrothorn dodges Jellicent's Shadow Ball. "Use Thunderbolt!" Jellicent fires Thunderbolt right at Jellicent, dealing with some damage. Jellicent's Cursed Body ability activates and it surrounds Ferrothorn.
"Is that Cursed Body kicking in like with Pikachu?" Ventus asked.
"It is, Ven," Aqua said. "And because of that, Jellicent won't be able to use Thunderbolt for a while."
"That can't be good for him," Meowth said.
Jellicent was taken down with Thunderbolt.
"Jellicent is unable to battle! Ferrothorn wins!" The referee announced. Marlon calls back Jellicent as he took out his next Pokéball and threw it.
"Your turn now, Dreadnaw!" Marlon called out. Dreadnaw came out to battle.
"Another easy win! Thunderbolt!" Cameron ordered. Ferrothorn attempted to fire Thunderbolt, but couldn't. "Huh? What happened?!"
"Guess you spaced out! Ferrothorn can't use Thunderbolt because it was disabled by Jellicent's Thunderbolt!" Marlon said.
"How could he seriously forget about Cursed Body?" Meowth asked.
"He's such a little kid, that's how," Iris said.
"Kid or not, it'll be even worse if he doesn't think of a strategy and fast," Karen said.
"Use Jaw Lock!" Marlon ordered. Dreadnaw lands a bite onto one of Ferrothorn's vines. Cameron tried to call back Ferrothorn, but it was no use.
"Why can't I switch Pokémon?" Cameron asked.
"Because of Jaw Lock! Jaw Lock's a move that prevents anyone from changing Pokémon! Comes in handy when trying to catch wild Pokémon," Marlon said.
"And it just got worse," Karen said.
"Okay Dreadnaw! Use Ice Fang!" Marlon ordered. Dreadnaw lands an icy bite onto Ferrothorn. "Okay, now use Rock Tomb!" Dreadnaw forms large rocks and sends it at Ferrothorn.
"Dodge it!" Cameron called out. Ferrothorn tried to dodge, but Rock Tomb came too fast to dodge. "Now use Razor Shell!" Dreadnaw's shell formed a blade and swipes it at the thorn pod Pokémon, resulting in a knockout.
"Ferrothorn is unable to battle! Dreadnaw wins!" The referee announced. Marlon calls back Ferrothorn.
"You put up a great fight. Get some rest," Cameron said. He looked at Riolu. "Your turn, Riolu!" Riolu jumped in to battle.
"He made the right choice sending in Riolu since a Fighting Type is a good choice against a Rock Type," Ventus said.
"That's Riolu can move on the platforms," Sora said.
"Okay, Dreadnaw! Use Jaw Lock!" Marlon ordered. Dradnaw went to deliver a bite attack onto Riolu.
"Force Palm!" Cameron ordered. Riolu lands a hit with Force Palm, resulting with Dreadnaw being paralyzed. "Use Circle Throw!" Riolu gave Dreadnaw a throw back to another platform, resulting in a knockout.
"Dreadnaw's unable to battle! Riolu wins!" The referee announced. Marlon calls back Dreadnaw.
"Good work, Riolu! You were awesome!" Cameron said.
"He's using his head," Sora said.
"Go! Mantine!" Marlon called out. Mantine came out to battle.
"You still good to go?" Cameron asked.
"Rio!" Riolu said.
"Great! Use Force Palm!" Cameron ordered. Riolu came right at Mantine with Force Palm.
"Bullet Seed!" Marlon ordered. Mantine fired Bullet Seed and it struck Riolu hard. "Wing Attack!" Mantine lands a hit onto Riolu, resulting in a knockout.
"Riolu is unable to battle! Mantine wins!" The referee announced.
"He lost another one," Ventus said.
"That was because Mantine is more experienced and had the Type advantage," Terra said.
"True," Cilan said. "Let's see what else he has up his sleeve."
"Cameron! Keep your cool, and focus!" Sora called out.
"You're right!" Cameron said. He stretched his bandana and he lets go. An idea comes to his head. "Eureka! I'll take advantage of the water, too! And I'll do it with this!" Cameron took out his next Pokéball and threw it. "Alright, Samurott! Let's go!" His Samurott came out to battle.
"He has a Samurott, too!" Ventus said.
"And with a difference," Kairi said.
"What kind of difference?" Ventus asked.
"That Samurott is a girl," Kairi said.
"We're ready to roll! Bullet Seed!" Marlon ordered. Mantine fired Bullet Seed at Samurott.
"Dive underwater to dodge it!" Cameron called out. Samurott dove in the water to dodge Mantine's Bullet Seed.
"Underwater's where Mantine's most at home," Marlon said. Mantine dove in the water after Samurott. Cameron just grinned.
"It's just the same with Samurott!" Cameron called out. "Okay, Samurott! Show them how fast you are when you're underwater!" Samurott swam very fast in the water. The same can be said about Mantine. "Use Bullet Seed!" Mantine fires Bullet Seed at his opponent. Samurott dodged it by shifting to the left.
"Hydro Cannon, go!" Cameron ordered. Samurott fired Hydro Cannon at the manta ray Pokémon, making him swirl underwater when he was struck. "Use Aqua Jet!" Samurott used Aqua Jet on Mantine, forcing Mantine out of the water.
"Mantine! Use Bullet Seed!" Marlon ordered. Mantine fired Bullet Seed at Samurott.
"Use Razor Shell and block it!" Cameron ordered. Samurott took one of her Seamitars and used it to block Bullet Seed like it was a lightsaber
"Use Wing Attack!" Marlon ordered. Mantine came at Samurott with Wing Attack.
"Double Razor Shell!" Cameron ordered. Samurott took another Seamitar and swung them both. Mantine is struck by the Seamitars and brought down.
"Mantine is unable to battle! Samurott wins!" The referee announced. Marlon calls back Mantine and took out his fourth Pokéball.
"That was good, Cameron," Marlon said. "And here's number four! Go! Wailord!" Wailord came on out to battle.
"Sora battled Wailord before and beat it, so I just have to try the same thing like before and I'll win! Okay, Samurott! Aqua Jet!" Samurott dashed right the float whale Pokémon. Wailord would have dodged, but it was too difficult because of his large size, so she struck Wailord hard. "Now, use Razor Shell!" Samurott took both of her Seamitars and swung them both at Wailord. "Use Megahorn!" Samurott came at Wailord and lands another hit.
"Wow, seeing Sora yesterday has really inspired Cameron so much!" Iris said.
"What did you expect, Iris? That battle yesterday has been a real pleaser," Karen said.
"Pika," Blossom said.
"Use Hydro Cannon! Full power!" Cameron ordered. Samurott fires a powerful Hydro Cannon right at Wailord, landing some heavy damage. Wailord would have kept going, but he has taken so much damage, so he was knocked out.
"Wailord is unable to battle! Samurott wins! The winner is the challenger!" The referee announced. Marlon calls back Wailord and smiled.
"That was an awesome battle, Cameron," Marlon said, walking up to him. "I guess watching me and Sora go at it really turned up the heat for you, so here's the proof that you beat me, fair and square. I'm giving you the Wave Badge!" Marlon presents Cameron the Wave Badge. He accepts it.
"And that's eight!" Cameron exclaimed happily.
"Good luck in the Unova Pokémon League," Marlon said.
With that said, the group took their leave of the Gym and started to continue on their way.
"So, now that you have eight of your Badges, the only thing to do until it starts is to train for it," Sora said.
"Sure! And I think I'm gonna do it solo for a while," Cameron said. He turned to Kairi. "Good luck in the Grand Festival, Kairi."
"Thank you," Kairi said.
With that said, Cameron and Riolu took their leave of the group to train on his own as Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Axew, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, and Meloetta started to head for Harmony City.
Meanwhile, Xande returned to Mateus and holds a mirror in his hands.
"I have the item you requested, your majesty," Xande said.
"Ah, the Reveal Glass. With the Reveal Glass in our grasp, we can use it to gain control over the Forces of Nature," Mateus said. "You have done well, Xande."
"I thank you, your majesty. But we are missing a required element," Xande said.
"Yes, the song of Meloetta. I will handle it myself," Matues said.
"Yes, your majesty," Xande said, bowing his head. Xande took his leave as Mateus pushes a button.
"Call Ein over at once," Matues said.
"Yes, sir," a secretary said.
Waiting a few minutes, Ein has entered his office.
"You summoned me, Master Mateus?" Ein asked.
"Yes, I have a task for you," Mateus said.
"What is this task, sir?" Ein asked.
"I want you to go to the Unova region and raise up..." Mateus paused, "the Abyssal Ruin." This surprised Ein.
"The Abyssal Ruin, sir?" Ein asked.
"Yes. I have gotten hold of an old relic to help make it possible," Mateus said. "The Reveal Glass." Ein was really surprised.
"How did you get that?" Ein asked.
"That is of little importance, Ein. I have requested your surfaces because you are the one to accomplish such a task," Mateus said. "You are familiar with the legend, are you not?"
"Yes, Master Mateus. If I recall, it was sunk by Meloetta when greedy humans attempted to use its power for themselves," Ein said.
"Correct," Mateus said. "The first step is the Reveal Glass, and the rest shall be up to you."
"I am deeply honored you would grant me such a task, Master Mateus. I shall not fail," Ein said.
"See that you don't," Mateus said. Ein took his leave as Mateus chuckled evilly. "Just be careful not to be controlled by the power of the Reveal Glass." He chuckled again.
A couple of days later, the group made a stop on the way to Harmony City to take a break from some training. By then, Sora has exchanged Eelektross and Durant for Haxorus and Krookodile. Meloetta sensed someone nearby, catching Sora's attention.
"Meloetta, what's wrong?" Sora asked. Meloetta turned invisible as Trip shows up. "Oh, it's you."
"Well Well Well," Trip started, "if it isn't the group of misfits of Kanto."
"Ugh what you want this time Trip? Another one of your 'boonie' crack? Heard it before, wasn't pleasant the first time."
Trip show his badge with all the 8 badges.
"I just wanted to let you know I'm officially in the Unova Pokémon League while you still are collecting badges. How much do you have Kanto Boy? Seven?" Trip asked as he gave off a light laugh as the rest all holds their laughter from Sora's laugh. Trip blinked twice. "What's so funny?"
You're quite the jokester. I just got 10 Badges from all the Gyms of Unova including Drayden the Dragon Master," Sora said, showing Trip his Badges. Trip was completely dumbfounded and shocked to see Sora has obtained ten Gym Badges.
"Thats impossible!" Trip exclaimed. He couldn't let Sora see him he got to him. "You just got luck that's all." Kairi stepped in defense of her boyfriend.
"Thats not luck it's called hard work. While most trainers choose only 8 badges Sora took all 10 and won fair and square. And besides, why do you even care where we're from?" Kairi asked.
"Nobody asked your opinion, red. You people of Kanto don't interest me, one bit. You should return to the basics," Trip said. He looked at Kairi. "Even you, because you Coordinators shouldn't be in Unova, like at all! Besides, I think you suck at battles, and pretty much everything else you do!" Sora didn't like Trip's attitude one bit.
"Alright, that's it! Nobody insults my girlfriend and gets away with it!" Sora said as he was about to challenge him, but Kairi put her arm in front of Sora.
"No Sora, I'm going to teach this guy some manners," Kairi said. "Besides, a direct insult to one Pokémon Coordinator is an insult to every Pokémon Coordinator!" Sora nodded as he understood.
"By all means, I'll let you take a shot at him," Sora said.
"You want to challenge me? Sorry, girlie, I'm not interested beating on little girls," Trip said.
"What's the matter? Are you scared getting beaten by a girl from Kanto?" Kairi asked as she smirked.
"Ooh, burn," Ventus said.
"The old beaten by a girl move. An oldie, but a goodie," Meowth said.
"Pika," Sparky said.
"Very well. Just don't go crying to the spikey haired boyfriend when I beat you," Trip said.
"Ohhh, it's you who is going to cry when I beat you," Kairi said.
"Let's make this a three-on-three battle, and I'll be the referee," Cilan said.
"Fine by me Cilan," Kairi said.
"Whatever," Trip added.
"Alright then! The battle between Kairi and Trip is about to begin! Both trainers will be using three Pokémon each, and the battle's over when all three are unable to battle! Choose and begin!" Cilan said.
"Go! Conkeldurr!" Trip called out. Conkeldurr came out to battle. Kairi took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Unfezant!" Kairi called out. Unfezant came out to battle.
"Conkeldurr! Use Rock Tomb!" Trip ordered. Conkeldurr unleashed Rock Tomb right at Unfezant.
"Dodge and use Air Slash!" Kairi ordered. Unfezant dodged Stone Edge with grace and then unleashed Stone Edge right at the muscular Pokémon.
"Block!" Trip ordered. Conkeldurr used its pillars to block Unfezant's attack. It pushes Unfezant back. "Use Bulk Up and Strength!" Conkeldurr builds up its muscles and then came right at Unfezant.
"Dodge and use Aerial Ace!" Kairi ordered. Unfezant darts right at Conkeldurr, dealing some heavy damage. Conkeldurr brushed it off like it was nothing. "Now use Brave Bird!" Unfezant flew right at Conkeldurr again. Unfezant lands a hit onto Conkeldurr. From the result of Brave Bird, she took some recoil damage.
"Okay, that wasn't bad, but it's not enough! Conkeldurr! Rock Tomb!" Trip ordered. Conkeldurr sends Rock Tomb on the bird Pokémon.
"Dodge and use Aerial Ace!" Kairi ordered. Unfezant darts right at Conkeldurr with Aerial Ace, landing a hit. "Okay, now use Roost!" Unfezant heals herself of her injuries.
"Kairi's Unfezant learned to use Roost?" Iris asked.
"Roost works the same way as Recover," Terra said.
"Use Air Slash!" Kairi ordered.
"Get ready to block it!" Trip called out.
Conkeldurr uses its pillars to block as Air Slash bounced right off.
"Quickly! Use Aerial Ace!" Kairi ordered. Unfezant dashed right at Conkeldurr again as soon as shows its face. "Use Air Slash!" Unfezant lands a hit with Air Slash as Conkeldurr fell on its back, beaten.
"Conkeldurr is unable to battle! Unfezant wins!" Cilan announced. Trip calls back Conkeldurr and took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Jellicent!" Trip called out. His Jellicent came on out to battle. Kairi calls back Unfezant and took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Emolga!" Kairi called out. Emolga came on out to battle against Jellicent.
"Looks like his Frillish evolved," Sora commented.
"Emolga's a good choice to use against Jellicent since he's a Water Type!" Iris said.
"Yeah, but don't forget about Cursed Body, Iris," Aqua said. "It can disable a move Emolga uses."
"Emolga! Electro Ball!" Kairi ordered. Emolga forms Electro Ball and sends it right at the floating Pokémon.
"Use Shadow Ball!" Trip ordered. Jellicent's Shadow Ball right at Emolga's Electro Ball, resulting in an explosion. "Use Water Pulse!"
"Aerial Ace!" Kairi ordered. Emolga lands a hit with Aerial Ace. Jellicent's Cursed Body activates. "Use Discharge!"
"Protect!" Trip ordered. Jellicent uses Protect to block Emolga's attack. "Use Shadow Ball again!" Jellicent uses Shadow Ball again.
"Dodge and use Electro Ball!" Kairi ordered. Emolga forms another ball of electricity and sends it right at Jellicent.
"Use Protect!" Trip ordered. Jellicent's Protect kicks in again. "How did you like that?"
"Electro Ball again!" Kairi ordered. Emolga unleashed Electro Ball again and lands a heavy hit onto Jellicent. "How do you like that?" Trip growled.
"Okay, let's try Water Pulse!" Trip ordered. Jellicent unleashed Water Pulse right at the sky squirrel Pokémon.
"Dodge and use Electro Ball!" Kairi ordered. Emolga unleashed Electro Ball and struck Jellicent hard. "Now, use Discharge!" Jellicent has taken some heavy damage and was taken down.
"Jellicent is unable to battle! Emolga wins!" Cilan announced. Trip called back Jellicent as Jellicent's Cursed Body wore off. Trip took out one more Pokéball and threw it.
"Your turn, Serperior!" Trip called out. Serperior came out to battle against Kairi's team.
"So, he saved his first Pokémon for last," Sora said in his thoughts. "Kairi will handle that one just fine."
"Emolga! Use Aerial Ace!" Kairi ordered. Emolga came at Serperior with Aerial Ace.
"Use Dragon Tail!" Trip ordered. Serperior swung his tail at Emolga hard and brings her down. "Use Wrap!" Serperior squeezed Emolga hard with his tail. "Slam it down to the ground!" Serperior slams Emolga down on the ground.
"Emolga is unable to battle! Serperior wins!" Cilan announced. Kairi calls back Emolga and takes out Unfezant's Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Unfezant!" Kairi called out. Unfezant came came back out to battle.
"Serperior! Use Glare!" Trip ordered. Serperior stared right at Unfezant, resulting in a paralysis. "Solar Beam!" Serperior starts to charge up with sunlight.
"Unfezant! Use Aerial Ace!" Kairi ordered. Unfezant dashed right at Serperior with Aerial Ace. Serperior fires Solar Beam and it struck the female proud Pokémon, resulting in a knockout.
"Unfezant is unable to battle! Serperior wins!" Cilan announced. Kairi called back Unfezant.
"Get some rest, you earned it," Kairi said.
"Give it up, red. You don't stand a chance against me," Trip said.
"I can tell you gotten a lot stronger since your first battle with Sora. You gotta realize strength isn't enough to win battles," Kairi said.
"What would you know?" Trip asked.
"More than you think," Kairi said. Angel stepped in and nodded. Kairi nodded back. Angel steps in to battle.
"You're sending that little Eevee out to battle me? You have got to be joking, right?" Trip asked.
"It's no joke. And I'll prove Angel is just as strong as ever," Kairi said. "Angel! Use Swift!" Angel fires Swift at the regal Pokémon.
"Use Dragon Tail!" Trip ordered. Serperior swings his tail to strike Angel.
"Dodge it!" Kairi called out. Angel manages to dodge, and Swift hits Serperior a little. "Now use Quick Attack!" Angel ran across the ground.
"Use Wrap!" Trip ordered. Serperior tried to grab Angel, but she dodges Serperior's tail as she jumped.
"Iron Tail!" Kairi ordered. Angel swung her tail at Serperior, causing some damage.
"Dragon Tail!" Trip ordered. Serperior came at Angel with Dragon Tail.
"Quick Attack!" Kairi ordered. Angel dashed right at Serperior, landing a hit. "Headbutt!" Angel lands a headbutt onto Serperior.
"Dragon Tail!" Trip ordered. Serperior flinched from Angel's Headbutt.
"Serperior flinched! This might be Kairi's chance!" Karen cheered.
"Pika!" Blossom said.
"Get that Eevee! Wrap!" Trip ordered. Serperior attempted to grab Angel, but she was too quick for him.
"Combine Swift with Iron Tail!" Kairi ordered. Angel fired Swift and the stars swirls around her tail.
"Don't waste my time!" Trip called out.
"Let it out now!" Kairi ordered. Angel jumped to give Serperior a hit with Iron Tail and Swift.
"Use Dragon Tail!" Trip ordered. Serperior swung his tail at the female Eevee, resulting in a small explosion. Angel has taken some damage from the attack and got back up on her feet.
"Angel, you're doing okay!" Kairi said.
"What about Serperior?" Trip asked. The smoke cleared to see Serperior dazed from the attack, and fell to the side, beaten.
"Serperior is unable to battle! Angel wins! The match goes to Kairi!" Cilan announced.
"So, Trip. How does it feel to get beaten by a girl from Kanto, huh?" Kairi asked. Trip called back his Serperior.
"Tch. You just got luck this time, red. Next time we meet you won't be so lucky," Trip said.
"Hey, Trip, nobody likes a sore loser," Sora said. Trip looked right at the couple.
"Why did you have to come here of all places?" Trip asked.
"This was something we decided for ourselves, Trip," Sora said. "We met trainers who are from different places, and we didn't judge them on where they're from, because it didn't matter. A trainer's a trainer. And Pokémon are Pokémon. All you did was expect to win right off the bat, but the truth is, it doesn't work that way. And it's going to just because you said it should."
"He's right," a familiar voice said. Everyone all turned to see it was Riku, Naminé, Eevee, and Azurill. "I battled Sora in a battle and I beat him, but he didn't let it get him down. You said it was luck that brought her victory, but the truth is, there's no such thing as luck." Trip didn't say a thing and just took his leave. Riku walked up to Kairi. "Great battle, Kairi."
"Been there long?" Sora asked.
"We've been watching from the start," Naminé said.
"And that was a sweet victory," Riku said.

"We're on our way to Harmony City," Karen said. "That's where the Grand Festival's taking place."
"Naminé and I might as well join you since we wouldn't miss it for the world," Riku said.
"Vee," Eevee said.
"It should be loads of fun," Naminé said.
"Azu, Azu!" Azurill said.
So, Riku, Naminé, Eevee, and Azurill joins Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Axew, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, and Eclair on their way to Harmony City for the Grand Festival and for the Unova Pokémon League. But who knows what they'll run into on the way over? Just wait and see.
