Episode 484: Return of the King
A couple of days has passed since Kairi has defeated Trip in battle as Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, Meowth, Azurill, Axew, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, and Meloetta continued on their way to Harmony City. They make their way through the White Forest as their way of getting to Harmony City while getting through White City.
Riku, Naminé, Eevee, and Azurill were introduced to Meloetta and explained to them about the Pokémon Hunter known as Dirk. Riku wasn't surprised to hear Sora would be saving a Pokémon.
Sora stops when he hears the sound of someone snoring. Meloetta turned invisible when it heard some snoring as well.
"You hear that?" Sora asked.
"Hear what?" Iris asked.
"Listen," Sora said.
The whole group hears snoring as they looked around. Ventus and Sparky were searching among the trees. The snoring grew louder since they were getting close. Ventus and Sparky found what looks like Adler sleeping against a tree.
"Alder?" Ventus asked in a whisper.
"Ven, where are y-" Aqua was cut off when Ventus shushed her. He and Sparky points to the sleeping Champion of Unova. She and Eclair saw Alder sleeping soundly. "Alder?"
"Pika?" Eclair asked.
It didn't take long until the rest of the group has shown up and sees him.
"Alder?" Sora asked. Alder woke up with a yawn.
"Hi there," Alder said. "Good morning." He stretched his arms as he is fully awoke. "Hey, I know you! You're those kids from before. What brings you here?"
"We were all heading for Harmony City for the Unova Grand Festival," Kairi said.
"Is that right?" Alder asked.
"What were doing sleeping there?" Ventus asked.
"I was just having a walk through the woods when I came across this tree as soon I felt sleepy, so I decided to relax, and that's when I dosed off," Alder said. "It was a nice nap though." His stomach starts growling. "I could use something to eat."
Later, Hugh makes his way through the forest as he came across a castle. He saw the logo of Team Plasma on the castle.
"Team Plasma," Hugh said. "I found their secret base! I found their castle! Now to have my revenge!" Hugh took out his Pokéball and lets out his Samurott. "We've been waiting for this for a long time, Samurott! We're going to destroy Team Plasma once and for all."
"Rott," Samurott said.
Hugh and Samurott rushed towards the castle as a few Team Plasma grunts has spotted them.
"Razor Shell!" Hugh ordered. Samurott swings his Seamitar at the Team Plasma grunts, knocking them out. Hugh opened the castle's doors and enters inside it. "Let's go." Samurott nodded as they entered inside.
Back to Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, Meowth, Azurill, Axew, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, and Eclair, Alder joined them for some dinner as Kairi has prepared some soup. Pikachu, Angel, Eevee, Azurill, Axew, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, Meloetta, Serperior, Emboar, Samurott, Haxorus, Krookodile, Unfezant, Emolga, Vanillish, Swoobat, Liepard, Pansage, Ferroseed, Amoongus, Deino, Iris's Druddigon, Volcarona, Bouffalant, Accelgor, Escavalier, Vanniluxe, and Alder's Druddigon were all eating the food Kairi has made. Alder took a sip of the soup and sighed.
"Ah, that hits the spot!" Alder said, smacking his lips. "You would make your husband happy with cooking like this when you get older." Kairi blushed heavily.
"Um, thanks," Kairi said.
"Anyway, what brings out here?" Alder asked as they all groaned.
"We just told you. We're heading to Harmony City," Sora said.
"And this guy's a Champion?" Ventus whisperd to Karen. She shushed him.
"Why would you wanna go there for?" Alder asked.
"We're going there for the Unova Grand Festival," Kairi said.
"Hm. When did we get one of those?" Alder asked. "Anyway, shouldn't you be better off heading to Vertress City."
"Harmony City is just on the way to Vertress City, and it's less than five months away," Sora said.
"Right. You competing in that?" Alder asked.
"Yeah. I won ten Gym Badges from each Gym I visited while in the Unova region," Sora said.
"Ten Badges?" Alder asked in surprise. "You must be good." Ventus looked right at Alder's Pokémon and right back at Alder himself, seeing how they match his personality. He had something to ask him.
"Alder, how did you get to be Champion?" Ventus asked.
"Ven, don't ask such a question," Aqua scolded.
"No, no, it's okay," Alder said.
"The battles must have been hard to beat the Unova Elite Four," Ventus said.
"No, they actually asked me to be Champion," Alder said.
The group all were dumbfounded by what Alder had just told them. Clearly, it wasn't what they were expecting an answer like this.
"The Elite Four asked you to be Champion?" Sora asked.
"Yeah, they did," Alder said. "The previous Champion took his leave of Unova, and they had me become Champion. So, I just went and gone with it."
"Well, that makes one thing not to do to become Champion," Sora said in his thoughts.
"Is there anything else on your minds?" Alder asked.
"Not really," Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, and Meowth all said.
Meanwhile, Caitlin is sitting at a table along with three other people. One of them is a woman with purple hair and glasses; her outfit is a purple dress with dark purple tights and pink Mary Jane shoes. She wears an additional black collar to her outfit and black gloves. She has pink books and pens beside her. Another is a young, muscular man, with orange-accented short hair and eyebrows. He wears a sleeveless teal jacket, teal bands around his biceps, orange fingerless gloves, a black belt around his waist, as well as orange trackpants with teal outlines.He is also barefooted. The fourth person is a tall, slender man, with black pointy hair and light blue eyes.
"You know what this is about, right?" The muscular man asked.
"Sure do, Marshal. This is about Team Plasma. Shauntal, you got anything?" The man asked.
"I do Grimesly," Shauntal said. "I got word from the inside that they're in possession of both the Light and Dark Stone. They're going to summon Reshiram and Zekrom."
"What? Reshiram and Zekrom?! You can't be serious!" Marshal said.
"If that's the case, then we shouldn't allow them to succeed with whatever they're planning," Grimesly said.
"We must get to Team Plasma's castle at once," Caitlin said.
"Agreed," Grimsely said. "Team Plasma is misguided and foolish. They believe they're liberating Pokémon from trainers, so we must put a stop to this." The rest of the Elite Four all agreed as they stood up to stop Team Plasma.
Over to Hugh, battled his way through the castle against the Team Plasma grunts.
"Where's my sister's Purrloin?" Hugh asked.
"I don't know what you're talking about," the Team Plasma grunt said.
Elsewhere, a Team Plasma grunt looked around and he entered a room inside. It turns out to be Looker. He makes contact.
"Looker to HQ. I'm in," Looker reported.
"Roger that," a voice said. Looker hung up and he puts his disguise and stepped out.
You're wondering what's Looker doing there, it turns out after the Team Galactic incident, he was assigned to look into Team Plasma and find out about their plan.
Back in the White Forest, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, Meowth, Azurill, Axew, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, and Meloetta are joined by Alder as they continue to Harmony City. Just then, a squad of Team Plasma grunts appeared all around. They had Whirlipede and Scolipede with him.
"Team Plasma!" Sora exclaimed.
"Evil Pokémon trainers, we are here to liberate the Pokémon from your oppressive grip," one of the Team Plasma grunts said.
"You'll have to try!" Sora said. Alder stepped up.
"Lemme handle these guys, son," Alder said. "I can handle these punks."
"Who do you think you are?" Another Team Plasma grunt asked.
"Wait a minute! That's the Champion!" Another Team Plasma grunt said.
"And you guys are in deep, deep trouble," Alder said, grabbing one of his Pokéballs. He opens it up. His Volcarona came on out. "Volcarona! Fiery Dance!" Volcarona danced and heads towards the Whirlipede and Scolipede. The grunts gets struck as well. Alder turned to Sora and his friends. "Sora, you and your friends head on ahead! I got these guys!"
"You sure about that?" Iris asked.
"Let him do it, Iris," Riku said. "He knows what he's doing."
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, Meowth, Azurill, Axew, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, and Meloetta ran ahead as Alder dealt with the Team Plasma grunts.
"Don't let them get away!" The first Team Plasma grunt exclaimed.
"Hey, don't forget about me!" Alder said.
Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, Meowth, Azurill, Axew, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, and Meloetta kept on going as several more Team Plasma grunts has suddenly appeared when two Serperior and a Samurott appeared. An Emboar arrived and gave a Team Plasma grunt a toss to the side.
"Is this a private party, or can anyone attend?" A voice asked. It turns out to belong to Hilbert as he Hilda, Nate, and Rosa has shown up.
"Hilbert," Sora could only say.
"You again?!" The leading Team Plasma grunt growled when a third Serperior grabbed him and threw him up a tree.
"Nothing can stop us from defeating you, Team Plasma," Cheren said.
"Get them!" Another Team Plasma grunt said. Just then, another Emboar shows up.
"Everyone!" Bianca said. The group all turned to see Bianca coming towards them. "Is everyone okay?"
"Thanks to you," Kairi said.
Sora, Kairi, Riku, Cilan, and Iris has let out their Pokémon to battle. Blossom, Sparky, Thor, and Eclair joined in the battle.
"Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered.
"Swift!" Kairi ordered.
The Pokémon couple launched their attacks at the Team Plasma grunts. They struck the Team Plasma grunts. Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, Hilbert, Hilda, Bianca, Cheren, Nate, Rosa, and the Pokémon took off through the forest to lose their enemies.
Over to N, he enters the castle and stepped inside.
"Father, I am ending this today," N said. "Your evil ends here and now." N wonders through the castle to find Ghetsis.
Over to Ghetsis and the six other sages, he gazes upon the Light and Dark Stones with pride.
"It is time to execute our plan," Ghetsis said.
"To liberate Pokémon everywhere with the power of Reshiram and Zekrom!" Gorm said.
"No," Ghetsis said. "We use the power of Zekrom and Reshiram to rule the world." The six other sages all looked right him confused.
"Rule the rule?" Zinzolin asked.
"Yes. The goal isn't to liberate Pokémon. It's to make the people of the world fear us with the power of Pokémon! Reshiram and Zekrom will help make it possible!" Ghetsis said.
"Yes," Giallo said. "The people will have to see things our way."
"The king will be pleased to hear your plan in effect," Rood said.
"Perhaps," Ghetsis said. He grinned as he said in his thoughts, "What they don't know that everything up to this point was all my doing! The king, the freak without a human heart is nothing more than my puppet! And I will destroy anyone who gets in my way!"
Over to Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, Hilbert, Hilda, Bianca, Cheren, Nate, Rosa, and the Pokémon in the Black Forest, they all panted as they were far enough from Team Plasma.
"Thanks for the save," Kairi panted.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Yeah, thanks," Ventus said.
"Pika," Sparky said.
"You were lucky we were around," Nate said.
"What brings you here?" Karen asked.
"We were on Team Plasma's trail, hoping to put an end to them," Rosa said.
"What's the deal with Team Plasma?" Terra asked.
"We got word from Hugh about them. He told me that he has seen their king," Hilbert said.
"King?" Sora asked.
"Team Plasma has a king?" Kairi asked.
"Yes," Cheren said. "It was assumed that Ghetsis was the one pulling the strings, but it turns out there is a power behind that of Ghetsis. This so-called king is said to be ruling over Team Plasma, and that their king has decreed that Pokémon would be liberated."
Sora realized it might be connected to his vision of Team Plasma. Ghetsis was one thing, but he wondered what N had anything to do with it.
"Guys, I think they're making their move," Sora said.
"Team Plasma's making their move?" Iris asked.
"Axew?" Axew added.
"Yeah. And I think we're close to them," Sora said.
"So, Team Plasma's base is close," Cilan said.
"That might be why they attacked us," Terra said.
"We'll take the fight to Team Plasma," Sora said.
"Agreed, because they cannot be allowed to they cannot be allowed to do what they please," Cilan said.
"Let's do this thing," Terra said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, Hilbert, Hilda, Bianca, Cheren, Nate, Rosa, and the Pokémon set off to find Team Plasma's hideout.
Back to the castle, Hugh and Samurott were still fighting through the castle when they came across a man with blonde hair and wore a blue cowlick around his head. He has yellow eyes and wore glasses. He took out a device and used it on Hugh and Samurott, stunning them both. A pair of Team Plasma grunts came rushing in.
"Dr. Colress, is everything okay?" A Team Plasma grunt asked.
"Everything is fine," Colress said. "Put these two somewhere they won't be a nuisance," Colress said.
"Yes, sir," another Team Plasma grunt said. They took and Samurott down to the castle's dungeon and locked them up.
Outside, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, Hilbert, Hilda, Bianca, Cheren, Nate, Rosa, and the Pokémon have found what they were looking for: Team Plasma's castle.
"I'm going to guess that's the place we're looking for," Meowth said.
"Okay, we move now," Sora said.
"Right," Riku said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, Hilbert, Hilda, Bianca, Cheren, Nate, Rosa, and the Pokémon made their way to the castle. A couple of Team Plasma grunts has spotted the group entering the castle. One of the grunts made contact with Ghetsis and the Seven Sages.
"Lord Ghetsis, we have more intruders in the castle!" The Team Plasma grunt reported.
"Then, capture them!" Ghetsis ordered.
"Yes, Lord Ghetsis," the Team Plasma grunt replied. He broke contact. He made contact with the other Team Plasma grunts. "Attention all Team Plasma grunts! Invaders have entered the castle! Deal with them!" The Team Plasma grunts all rushed to counter the group.
Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, Hilbert, Hilda, Bianca, Cheren, Nate, Rosa, and the Pokémon looked around the castle and so far, they saw no sign of Team Plasma.
"So, this is Team Plasma's HQ. I never thought I would enter it," Cilan said.
"It doesn't look like anyone's here," Iris said.
"Axew," Axew said.
"Doesn't mean they're not here," Hilbert said.
"Here's right. Those Team Plasma guys from before were determined to get in our way," Cheren said.
"Here's a chance to put a stop to them for good," Riku said.
"There's no forgiving Team Plasma for what they do," Bianca said.
"Now to put them out of business!" Ventus said.
Just when things were quiet, dozens of members of Team Plasma came rushing in to attack the group.
"Uh, that's before they put us out of business, right?" Meowth asked.
"You shouldn't have come here! Team Plasma's castle is a sanctuary! Not one for the likes of you!" One of the Team Plasma grunts said.
"Those who defile our scared grounds must be punished without mercy!" Another Team Plasma grunt said.
"You, oppressors of Pokémon, shall face the unforgiving wrath of Lord Ghetsis and our king!" Another Team Plasma grunt said.
"You keep calling us the bad guys, when you're the bad guys here!" Sora said. "You say you're saving Pokémon from trainers, but the truth is, you're just a bunch of petty thieves! Pokémon and human beings can live together in peace! And we are going to prove it by putting a stop to you!"
"Evil trainer! How dare you justify yourselves and call us evil in our own home!" Another Team Plasma grunt said.
"The sins of humans are the reasons Pokémon all over Unova are suffering!" Another Team Plasma grunt said.
"Ghetsis has opened our eyes to the truth, so we see the light! The light that is our king! The light that shall bring a glorious future to the entire Unova region!" Another Team Plasma grunt said.
"How could you believe in such a thing?" Kairi asked.
"Ghetsis is wise! It is because of him, our king was brought to us!" Another Team Plasma grunt said.
"And now our king has returned to us, and he shall lead Team Plasma to untold glory!" Another Team Plasma grunt said.
"Not if we have anything to say about it!" Nate said.
"You have no say here! The words of our king is absolute law!" Another Team Plasma grunt said.
"Your Pokémon are beyond saving, so we will destroy them along with you!" Another Team Plasma grunt said.
"Prepare to be destroyed!" The first Team Plasma grunt said. They sent out Pokéballs, letting out Whurlipede, Scolipede, Seismitoad, Sigilyph, Liepard, Krokorok, Krookodile, Seviper, Zangoose, Golbat, Crobat, Weezing, Bisharp, Muk, Magneton, Klinklang, Watchog, Scarfty, Garbodor, Drapion, Raticate, Sneasel, Weavile, and Cofagrigus, all launched their assault.
"Emboar! Use Arm Thrust!" Bianca ordered. Bianca's Emboar thrusts through the Team Plasma Pokémon.
"Serperior! Use your Dragon Pulse!" Cheren ordered. Serperior unleashed Dragon Pulse and they struck the Team Plasma Pokémon. Sora, Kairi, Riku, Cilan, and Iris joined in as Hilbert's Samurott fired Hydro Pump, and Nate's Emboar lands a strong Brick Break. The Pokémon all fought back against the Team Plasma Pokémon, but there was too many. Just when hope was starting to get lost, a Liepard appeared and swiped at the Team Plasma Pokémon. Grimsely stepped in.
"This is the infamous Team Plasma? A band of thugs picking fights with children?" Grimsely asked.
"You! You're one of the Elite Four!" The first Team Plasma grunt said. A Gothitelle uses Psychic on a table and sends it flying, hitting some Pokémon in the mix.
"You sure know how to pick your enemies," Caitlin said.
Just then, Marshal came in. Some of the grunts tried to grab him, but he ends up overpowering them.
"I knew you were thieves, but I never thought you were such cowards!" Marshal said. Shauntal came in as her Cofagrigus attacks with Shadow Ball.
"Plasma is a curse on Unova; one we shall lift!" Shauntal said.
"The Unova Elite Four!" The Team Plasma grunts all said.
"You shall not be allowed to do as you wish! You must be stopped!" Cailtin said.
"You must be destroyed! You are all evil if you use Pokémon to assault us!" The first Team Plasma grunt said.
"Then are the cops the ones chasing after you?" Marshal asked.
"Thanks for the save," Sora said.
"You leave them to us, kid," Marshal said.
"We can handle Team Plasma. Ghetsis and his fellow sages must be somewhere in this castle, so keep your eyes open," Shauntal said. Sora nodded. Sora turned to the rest.
"Let's go!" Sora said.
Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, Hilbert, Hilda, Bianca, Cheren, Nate, Rosa, and the Pokémon all went to find the Seven Sages. As they were going through the castle, thoughts were going his mind, wondering if N would know anything about it.
Over to N, Ghetsis, and the other sages, N glared right at him.
"Your majesty," Rood said as he and the other five kneeled before him.
"We have prayed for your return, our king," Zinzolin said.
"Don't patronize me," N said.
"Are you displeased?" Gorm asked.
"We seven have done what we can to please you," Giallo said.
"I have come to put an end to all of this," N stated. Six of the Seven Sages all looked at each other as Ghetsis kept looking at him.
"An end you say?" Ghetsis asked.
"Yes. This has gone far enough, father," N said.
"Your majesty, we-" Bronius said before Ghetsis cuts him off.
"What do you mean?" Ghetsis asked.
"Pokémon everywhere are suffering! I could hear their voices! They're all crying out for help! They're suffering to no end! Even now I can hear them!" N said. "No one else can hear them because they don't have what I have! So, I am only given one choice..." N paused. "I must liberate all Pokémon from trainers, even from you!"
"You cannot be serious!" Ryoku exclaimed.
"I am," N stated. "And I'll start by liberating Reshiram and Zekrom from you!" N said, running to the Light and Dark Stones. He managed to grab the Light Stone. The Light Stone began to glow through his touch.
Elsewhere, Reshiram awoke and lets out a loud roar, heard throughout the entire Unova region. Reshiram started to fly to its source.
Looker was searching for a way to get to the Seven Sages, and their rumored king with the intentions of arresting them all. He heard someone coming.
"This I don't need," Looker said. He hid as he saw Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Cilan, Iris, Hilbert, Hilda, Bianca, Cheren, Nate, Rosa, and the Pokémon coming in. "Sora?" Looker wasn't expecting to see Sora.
"Let's keep going before we get anymore surprises coming our way," Sora said.
"Sora!" Looker called out. Sora saw Looker in his disguise.
"Team Plasma again!" Hilbert exclaimed.
"Pikachu!" Sora said.
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Wait a minute! It's me!" Looker said, taking off his hood. Sora was shocked to see Looker.
"Looker? What are you doing here?" Sora asked.
"I could ask you the same thing," Looker said.
"You know him?" Karen asked.
"Yeah. That's Looker. He's with the International police," Sora said.
"Last time we saw you, we stopped Team Galactic from destroying the world," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
"Yes. After the whole Team Galactic incident, all of its remaining members were either arrested or they turned themselves in. After we restored everything back to normal, I was given the assignment to investigate Team Plasma. So, I have been working my way to get on Team Plasma. Word gone around saying their so-called king has come back here," Looker said.
"Just who exactly is this king?" Riku asked.
"That's what I intend to find out," Looker said.
Unknown to anyone, a Sigilyph is hiding in the same room as the group, so it appeared before them and used Hypnosis on them. Only Meloetta was spared this due to its invisibility.
"Oh-" Sora said, falling asleep. Later, Sora wakes up and sees that they're all in cells in a dungeon. Sora is sharing one with Pikachu, Hilbert, Nate, Cheren, Nate, and Hugh as Kairi, Karen, Hilda, Rosa, Angel, and Blossom as Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Looker, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, and Meowth. "Where are we?"
"Your new home," Ghetsis said. Sora saw it was Ghetsis standing at his cell. "We meet again."
"Ghetsis!" Sora snapped.
"You have got to be more trouble than you look if you have come this far," Ghetsis said.
"What are you going to do with us?" Sora asked.
"Nothing, yet," Ghetsis said. "I just wanted to come and see if you were comfortable. I would be in a good mood if it weren't for that ingrate son of mine!"
"Sounds like you got a family feud on your hands," Sora said.
"Don't smart talk me, and don't get any ideas about escaping! These cells are locked securely. So, I'll be sending some of my people to attend to you. Just don't be disappointed when it takes them hours, or even days to get to you," Ghetsis said. Sora looked into his aura, and he could tell he was planning something.
"Whatever it is you're planning, just know you won't get away with it!" Sora said.
"I already have," Ghetsis said, taking his leave.
Sora sighed as he found himself and his friends to be prisoners of Team Plasma. How was Sora and his friends going to get out and stop Ghetsis before it's too late. And what of N and Reshiram? Just stay tuned to find out.
