I don't own any of this, Loud House belongs to Nickelodeon.
With the headlights reflecting off the road as Bobby pulled over in front of the forest where the meteorite had crash landed earlier. They could no longer see the collum of smoke for it had dissipated some time ago, which will make it rather difficult for the two of them to find the meteorite crash site, but they do know however that it did crash somewhere in this area, it'll just take a while to find it.
"Well here we are." Bobby announced with a bit of a nervous tone in his voice. He looks out to the dark woods outside of the safety of the car where the outlines of trees are just reflected from the moonlight. He felt extremely uneasy as he always hated going through the woods at night because unlike in the city at least you can see things clearly thanks to city lights or not have the fear of animals or a deranged maniac popping out at you. Slowly he turns to face Lori, showing his uncertainness of this whole adventure to her. "You know babe. It's not too late to take a romantic stroll down on the beach."
Comfortably Lori places a hand lightly on his shoulder. "Come on Boo-Boo Bear. There's nothing to be afraid of out here. Just think of it as an extension of the park."
"But do we even know where it landed? I mean, it could be anywhere in these woods." Bobby pointed out in a last ditch effort to change Lori's mind.
"I see your concern Bobby, but don't worry. I know that it fell somewhere around here. Just call it great instincts." Lori then gets out of the car and turned on her phone's flashlight to see through the dark woods. She waits for Bobby to slowly come out of the car himself, where once he was right by her side. The two went into the woods with the flashlight guiding them as their feet crunches dead leafs and crack sticks.
The light from the flashlight greatly helped them navigate their way through the woods, they avoided bumping into trees or tripping on their roots or whatever else was on the ground. The light also spooked some small animals like squirrels, raccoons, possums, and mice who all scattered into the underbrush once the light shined in on them. "See Bobby, this isn't so bad."
Bobby looked around a bit tensely for it was a bit scary out here. A hoot from a nearby owl didn't help at all for that only served to spook him even more. "Aw man. This forest sure is spooky." Lori gently pats his back to reassure him to continue on through these woods that have really started to become more thick the further they walked.
Lori soon glances her gaze upward and took notice of the broken branches. If anything else, that must be a pretty good sign that they are starting to get close to the crash site as for how else could those trees have broken branches? Well other than the trees having dead branches or heavy winds blowing through. Walking along further they eventually reach the same area that Hank and Hawk hung around in earlier.
The crater could be seen from where they stood, which was in a opposite spot of where Hank and Hawk came in through. Spotting the crater they both smiled as for Lori finally found it and Bobby is just happy that they didn't have to walk further into the woods.
Approaching the crater slowly, the two looked down it and stared at the broken in half meteorite. It was light grey on inside while the outside is burned black, it was rather pretty and Lisa would definitely love to study it under her microscope. Turning to Bobby, Lori lovingly wraps her arm around his waist. "See Boo-Boo Bear. This wasn't so bad; we're here together and found a pretty good looking rock."
"I suppose your right babe." Bobby admitted for the rock did look rather pretty, although he did wonder on one thing though. "I wonder how it got broken in half?"
Lori shrugged her shoulders. "Probably from how hard it had landed."
Looking at the area around the meteorite however, Bobby took notice at a couple of fresh footprints right near the meteorite and quickly points them out to Lori. "Hey Lori. There are some footprints around it."
Lori looks and sees that Bobby is telling the truth. There are indeed footprints near the meteorite and that must mean that someone was here before them, but whoever they were, they are clearly gone now. So whoever has left them probably wouldn't mind if Lori takes it back home. Picking up the meteorite, (which has by now cooled itself down), with both hands. She does a quick study of both pieces before telling Bobby that they can leave now.
Bobby is very happy by that news and is just as happy to lead his girlfriend out of this spooky forest.
Finally making it to the hospital at last. Hank and Hawk bursted through the doors and bolted right up to the front desk where the front desk nurse is taken by complete surprise over the two boys sudden appearance. "Can I help you two?" She asked them rather calmly.
Both were panting from the long run they have taken to get here, but Hawk is the one to speak up due to being the first one to regain his voice. "Yeah. We need to see a doctor." He urged.
"What for?"
"Well" Hawk and Hank lift up their covered hands, which by now the gel thing had reached pass both of their wrists. "I believe this speaks for itself." Hawk replied to the stun nurse.
"Did you boys get stuck in gelatin or something?" She asked in disbelief while keeping her eyes on the pulsing substance that a simple glob of gelatin definitely couldn't do or get stuck on people's hands for that matter.
"Look it's hard to explain." Hank snapped. "So kindly get us a doctor already." He then shuts his eyes again in absolute pain, it hurts so bad.
"Alright just take a seat over there and I'll go catch a doctor." The nurse firmly instructed before heading off to find an available doctor for this strange case. Hank and Hawk fallowed the nurse's instructions and sat themselves down on some seats with Hank close to the magazine rack. Looking at the rack; all Hank could see is that the magazines were nothing but dum celebrity dramas and useless fashion tips, there is nothing of interest for him. Not that he could even focus on reading through a magazine, thanks to the fiery pain the gel is giving to his hand.
Hank really hoped that the doctor would be able to get this thing off both of his and Hawk's hands. He couldn't move it or could even feel it, plus from looking at the gel thing, it had gotten a bit bigger than when he had first seen, he swears that this thing was in fact alive and eating him. If all else, Hawk definitely owes him more than ten dollars after they get out of this mess.
Speaking of Hawk, he hears him let out a groan of despair. Looking over to him, Hank observes that he is showing his teeth from the amount of pain he is in. "Aw man bro! Why did we have to check out that stupid space rock. I tell you this bro, the next time something falls out of the sky, we are not going to check it out."
"I second that bro." Hank agreed before looking to the thing on their hands. "How do you think the doctor is going to get this thing off of us?"
"I don't know bro. Maybe they got this machine to pull it off, but frankly I don't care as I just want this thing off my hand." Hawk seethed in pain from that last part.
Hank nods in agreement at that statement. "Diddo on that, dude."
Suddenly hearing footsteps approaching them. They looked forward to see a doctor with brown hair approaching them with a clipboard in his hand. "Alright, I heard that you two wanted to see-" The doctor took notice of the gel thing on Hank's and Hawk's hands. "me"
"You can say that." Hawk replied.
"Uh, I definitely see that you two need help with getting whatever that thing is off." The doctor, who's was known throughout the hospital as Doctor Nick. A doctor who is well respected along with having good humor that makes the other staff and patients in the hospital laugh. But this is a no laughing matter, these two definitely needed his help from whatever is going on with them.
"Please fallow me." The two gladly complied with the doctor and followed him into the halls of the hospital with new found hope that they will soon be out of this fine mess they gotten themselves in.
As Hank and Hawk are brought into a operating room, Lisa Loud stood in her room looking over a very complicated math problem on her trusty chalkboard. "Hmm, move the four over to the two." She softly mumbled to herself as she moved some numbers around her problem.
Her attention on her math problem is soon suddenly interrupted by a knock from her door. With her back facing to the door Lisa tells whoever was at her door to enter her domain.
Opening up the door, Lori and Bobby entered into the room. "Hey Lisa."
"Greetings oldest sibling and very close mate of our oldest sibling. You enjoyed your little time at the town's local restaurant?" Lisa writes down a couple more numbers on the chalkboard.
"How did you know about that?" Bobby asked in confusion for he recalled on Lori saying that she didn't tell her family that they were going out to eat.
"Just a lucky guess." Lisa lied as she quickly hid her wrist watch that blinked Lori's and Bobby's tracking devices. "Anyway what brings you two here?"
"Well Lisa. I brought something that you may like." Lori replied with a smile.
Turning around to face her sister, Lisa looks to her with regard. "What would that be Lori?"
Lori holds out her hands towards Lisa, presenting her with the meteorite. "I believe this meteorite is literally right up your alley." Taken by complete surprise by the unexpected gift, Lisa puts down her chalk and approached her sister to take a good look at the meteorite. The meteorite itself is a very interesting piece of history of the universe right here. "My word. Where did you get this fascinating specimen?"
"We saw it fall right out of the sky." Bobby answered. "It came down and crashed right in the woods."
Lisa places a hand under her chin in question, giving it a good rub. "Weird. My asteroid or meteor detector should have picked it up before it came into contact with our atmosphere."
"Your what?" Lori questioned for she never heard of that machine before.
Lisa simply goes up to her bedside desk, she pushes a button on the side of it and a medium size computer rose up with the screen revealing the Earth's entire orbit. "This machine helps me detect upcoming impact events from small ones like this meteorite you presented me with or much more important large asteroids that's can either level a city or cause a catastrophic extinction event." Lisa explained to the two interested teens. "Now the big question is why my machine didn't tell me. It's supposed to go off the moment it detects a good size rock is on a collision course with the Earth."
Lisa inspects the machine closely and finds a trace of peanut butter on the keyboard. "What the? Dang it. I told Lana not to get too close to my machines with her PBJ sandwiches." She'll have to fix this machine up later as this machine is pretty important to advert a great disaster that could happen sometime in the future.
As for right now however, Lisa wanted to take a good look at that meteorite. Pushing the button that sent the computer back down, Lisa goes back to Lori and extended her hands out. "May I?"
Lori gives her the two pieces of rock. Now with these pieces in her own hands, Lisa takes them to a table where she gently places them down on it. She grabs a scanner and uses it to illuminate a green light around the rock pieces. After a simple ding, Lisa looked to her scanner and is very intrigue as her scanner shows her that the rock did not come from their own solar system. "How intriguing."
"What is it?" Lori curiously asked.
"This meteorite originated from a whole different galaxy. This piece of rock has definitely taken a rather long journey in order to get here." Lisa explained.
"Another galaxy." Bobby mused. "You think that some alien creature could've hitched a ride on it."
"Oh. Don't be silly Boo-Boo Bear." Lori countered with a playful eye roll.
"Actually Lori. That idea might not be so far fetched. It's possible that some sort of alien bacteria could've been on the meteorite." Lisa informed as she kept her eyes squarely focused on the meteorite.
"Um, could those bacteria be harmful by any chance?" Lori asked with a good amount of concern for the last thing she wanted is to experience some sort of outbreak by a alien disease.
"Possibly, but there's a great chance that the bacteria had perished during the meteorite's atmosphere entry. Of course bacteria or other kinds of small life forms can survive in very harsh conditions. I would just be glad that no one else was around the meteorite when you two found it." Lisa pulls up another scanner to develop a 3D image on another computer.
"Actually" Bobby spoke up for that wasn't exactly true. "I saw some footprints near it, so I'm pretty sure that there were other people that checked it out before us."
Looking at the complete 3d image for further study and analysis, Lisa taps her chin. "Hmm. Then I hope whoever they are, aren't suffering from any possible harmful effects created by any small life forms."
Placing Hank and Hawk on anesthetics to keep them still during the procedure. Doctor Nick looked down at the knocked out pair with great fear in his eyes. During the pass couple of minutes from getting the boys in here, placing them on the beds, and knocking them out. The thing on them had extended right up to their shoulder blades.
From what he could deduced, this thing was some sort of parasite that consumes flesh like acid, it's also clear that it was growing bigger. He needed to stop this thing from completely consuming the two boys and the only way to do that is by amputating the remaining parts of their arms. It is definitely going to be a shocker for the two when they get up from their sleep, but they'll surly appreciate him for saving them from being eaten alive by this thing.
He just needed to get the saw and then he can begin on the operation. Quickly Doctor Nick rushes over to the operating table and picked up the saw, he now begins to wonder on which one of the boys he should operate on first?
Turning around Doctor Nick jumped in fright for in the short amount of time he had been looking away from his patients, the blob had covered the boys right up to their necks. Doctor Nick is so shocked that he drops the saw from his hands, it clangs to the floor with a couple of bounces before finally settling. This is just utterly unreal, the mere fact it has covered them this fast is very and truly horrifying.
Doctor Nick backs away from the blob until he hits a wall, he helplessly watches as the blob expands more until it completely covered Hank and Hawk. Through its jello like body, Doctor Nick saw the outline of Hank's head being dissolved to reveal his skull while his eyes were still attached. "Holy mother of god!" Is all that he could say from this horrific digestion.
Finished with its first meals, the blob then moves off of the table, towards the cowering doctor who throws everything that he could get a hold of at it.
Nurse Janice had been making her rounds through this section of the hospital. When she heard on what sounded like a struggle and muffled screaming from operating room 32.
Frightened by the sounds of the struggle for it sounded like a patient had suddenly grew violent. Janice immediately ran into the room to give her assistance on restraining the patient, until they get some anesthetics in them to calm them down for their own good. Entering the room: Janice found two empty beds, a knocked over operating table with the tools scattered all over the floor, and the most alarming sight of all that made Janice scream bloody murder is a blob-like thing, (about the size of a small cat), on the floor with Doctor Nick's hand twitching outside of its jello body, that slowly got covered up.
Continuing to loudly scream from the horrifying sight of Doctor Nick being eaten alive, Janice burst into a run in the opposite direction. She needed to get away from whatever that blob thing was, her instincts are scrambling to tell her on what to do. Eventually her instincts finally choosed that she has to hide from it, Janice fallows her instincts and hides herself in a random broom closet, she slams the door and then switches on the light.
The broom closet is a rather tight fit as the large buckets for the brooms, ladders, and shelves made it rather difficult to move sideways. Regardless of how tight this closet was, Janice kept quiet for she just wanted to hide from that blob which ate Doctor Nick. Oh, how she hoped that the others in the hospital are going to be alright from it.
Janice then takes a slow look down to the tiny gap underneath the door, the light from the hallway gets slowly blocked off by something. Then slowly the blob oozes itself right underneath that tiny gap much to the trapped Janice's horror.
