"Morning Mr. Sullivan." I said as I walked down stairs, where I saw Chloe and Gabe looking at someone in the kitchen. Stopping at the entrance, I looked inside and saw my sister was there. She wasn't in her armor, she was wearing a black business suit with a black tie.

"Hello, Brother." She said with a bit of sarcasm.

"Sis, what are you doing here?" I asked, with her shrugging her shoulders.

"I heard what happened to Rebecca, your mother, and figured that I would come and see your new living conditions." She said as she walked over to us. "As cozy as the other place, not only that but I need you to come with me." She said, with me snapping my fingers while pointing at her.

"I knew it! What did you do?" I questioned, with her crossing her arms.

"It's not what I did, it's what Grandma did." She said, confusing me.

"We have a grandma?" I asked, with her nodding.

"Yep." She said as she started walking to the door. "Get a move on, we have a long drive." She said, stopping at the door as I stared at her. "Well, you coming?" She asked, with me looking at Gabe.

"Family problems?" I asked, with him nodding.

"Go ahead, I'll call the school and let them know." He said, with me following after her.

"Wait, what is your name?" Chloe questioned, with her turning to face her.

"Raven." She said, with me following her out the door. Seeing her walk down the stairs, she reached into the bush and pulled out a sheath. Watching her remove her sword, it was pure red. Watching her strike the air, a portal opened up, with her looking at me. "Come on." She said, with me stepping through.

Walking out the other side, I saw that I was at a campsite. "Where are we?" I asked as she walked past me.

"My camp, or what's become of it." She said, with me following her. "We are in the Bimodal triangle, to be more accurate, a dimension that is inside the Bimodal triangle." She said, shocking me as she teleported us across dimensions. "Here, you will train, get better than what you are." She said, with me stopping and looking at her.

"You lied?" I asked, with her turning to me.

"Yes, because if I said that I was there to take you to train you wouldn't have come." She said as she turned back around and started walking towards a red camp that had the same symbol that was on my wall from when I was stabbed. We walked over to a table, with me seeing a map, but nothing looked familiar to me. "I need you to help me clear out a large area called Patch." She said, pointing to the map. "Its crawling with Grimm, Grimm are monsters that can come in different shape and sizes." She said, shocking me.

"I'm sorry, you want me to fight MONSTERS!?" I said, shocked that she would call me for this.

"I'm not going to lie, we're in the middle of a war, a war against something so dangerous that it scares the living shit out of the Sage, the one who gave me my powers that you don't have." She said, with me nodding as I remembered her telling me about him.

"So, what, you want me to go out with a sword and fight these things? What about guns, do they work?" I asked, with her rolling her eyes at that.

"Out dated." She said, confusing me. "Transforming weapons, going from a gun to whatever weapon you want, or from one weapon to another." She said as she walked over to the wall and pulled off a giant sheath. "This is my weapon of choice, each sword is coated with something call dust, dust is big here and it can summon the elements but its limited." She said as I nodded my head at that bit of information. "Now, we are going to do some training with different weapons and people to get you up to speed." She said, with me nodding while rubbing the back of my head.

"Yeah, I have no choice in the matter because if I don't, you wont teleport me back, am I right?" I asked, with her nodding her head. "Alright, what's first?" I asked, with her stepping up to me and placing her hand on my chest.

"For it is in passing that we achieve immortality. Through this, we become a paragon of virtue and glory to rise above all, infinite in distance and unbound by death. I release your soul, and by my shoulder protect thee." She said, with me glowing a bit, with me looking at my hands as I didn't know what she did. "Your aura is now awake, threw combat you will learn what your semblance is." She said as she turned around and walked away.

"Wait, what's a semblance?" I asked as I followed her.

Later

Bringing the large sword down, the woman I was fighting backflipped away and charged back at me, with me blocking her strike just in time. Seeing her jump over me, I turned around and slashed at her, but with pure speed she appeared by my side, shocking me as she stabbed at me multiple times. Seeing as I didn't take any damage, I slashed at her, knocking her away from me.

Charging at her, I jumped up and brought the sword down on her, with her jumping to the side. Sliding the sword at her, she jumped back, with me smacking her away with the sword. Seeing her pointing her sword at me, some marks appeared under her feet. 'So those are semblances?' I thought as she appeared behind me and started attacking me from all angles at the same time due to how fast she was.

Slashing at her, she jumped in mid-air due to the markings, with me missing, but I punched her in the face, sending her flying back. Seeing her land on her own two feet, she took a deep breath and send a wave of ice at me, shocking me as my feet were caught in them. Seeing her jumping at me, I swung at her, but she landed on my sword. Looking at her, she kicked me in the face as she did a backflip. Seeing her land on the ground, she slashed at me as I slashed at her, with her knocking my sword away. Punching the ground, I broke free.

Charging at her, she appeared behind me and placed the tip of her sword at the back of my head. "It's over." She said, making me sigh as she was right, it was over.

Then I heard a "ting". Turning around, I saw that I had broken her sword in half. "Well, isn't that some bad luck." I said as I stood up and flexed my hand, before punching her in the face, pushing her back. Seeing her hold her nose, she looked shocked at the sudden action. Punching her again, she slid back as I hit her again and again, before kicking her into the hut. Seeing it fall forward, I sighed as it crashed onto me.

Stepping out from the wreckage, I dragged the girl with me. Tossing her forward, Raven looked at me with a look in interest. "I win." I said, shaking off the fabric of the hut.

"Yes, a great sword will do fine." She said, with me looking down at the girl as she stood up, before walking away with a glare. "Now I know what your semblance is, its bad luck." She said, with me rolling my eyes at that.

"I already knew I had bad luck, but as a semblance?" I asked, with her nodding.

"I am able to teleport over to people I like, that is my semblance." She informed, with me crossing my arms.

"What about that bird thing?" I asked, making her smirk at that.

"That is a gift from the sage, but you aren't ready for that." She said as she turned around. "Get some rest, Brother, you need it." She said, where the hut behind me caught on fire, making me sigh as this was going to be annoying.

The next day

"Alright, every gun that we have is lined up." Raven said, with me looking at all of them. There was a LOT of them. Pistols, SMGs, Shotguns, sniper rifles and assault rifles. "Your goal, shoot each target that is lined up, each gun has one clip, that's all you get. Pistols must hit the thirty yard targets, same with SMGs. Shotguns must go for the forty yards, Assault Rifles to the sixty through three hundred yards and the Sniper Rifles must hit the six hundred and further yards." She said as I picked up the first gun.

Taking aim, I fired at the first target, hitting it but not on target as it fired three rounds. "Diamatti, a weak gun, fifteen rounds and somewhat good accuracy." Someone said, with me looking at him as he leaned against the pillar. "It is a 3-round burst pistol. Fast cyclic rate of fire with a short delay between bursts. Increased ammo capacity to that of fifteen rounds."

"Skag is our weapons expert, when it comes to guns, he will be the one to determine which gun is placed in your weapon." Raven said, with me looking at her.

"Who is the weapon expert when it comes to swords and stuff?" I asked, with her smirking as I asked that.

"I am." She said, with me nodding as that was to be expected.

Taking aim again, I shot at another target, with me getting its shoulder once. I kept this up until I ran out of ammo, with me hitting targets now and then but no kill shots. Taking up another gun, I examined it as it wasnt like the last gun. "The .357 Magnum, 6 rounds, Range is 8.25m-30m and has a high recoil." Skag said as I took aim and fired, with me missing completely.

Frowning at that, I fired again and once again I missed. I kept it up but with each shot I missed my mark, making me frown at that. "Magnums are not your thing." She said as I put the gun down.

"Try the Renetti, the Pistol down to your right." Skag said, with me picking it up. "Moderate damage output, the largest pistol magazine, and relatively controllable recoil. Range is forty two meters, and has a clip of 15 rounds and is a burst as well." He said, with me taking aim.

Shooting a target, it hit like before but non lethal. Continuing to shoot, I did hit them and I was starting to get better control over the recoil. "Burst is a maybe." Raven said, with me looking at her. "Don't focus on me, focus on the targets." She said, with me picking up the next gun.

".50 GS, good damage, better accuracy, range is fifty meters." He said, with me shooting a target dead in the heart. Looking at the gun, I then took aim at another target and shot it, hitting its head. Nodding, I started shooting each targets and hitting each of them. ".50 GS is a maybe." He said, with Raven walking over to me and taking the gun.

"Take this over to Wedge, tell him to wait." She said, with the girl taking it and walking into the hut. After a bit, she returned. "Move onto a different type of gun." She said, with me picking up an SMG.

"The KSP 45, 30 rounds, burst, weaker than the .50 GS." Skag said as I took and pulled the trigger, with me missing the targets completely. "SMGs are a no." He said, with me placing it down and grabbing the next gun. "The Dragunov, A soviet workhorse chambered in 7.62mm x 54mmR. This gas-operated semi-automatic sniper rifle allows for rapid follow up shots." He said, with me looking down the scope and taking aim at the furthest target. I had moved a bit to the side as I fired, with the head of the targeting pushed back to the point that it was bent at a ninety degree angle. I continued this, with me hitting the heads and either bending the targets or destroying them.

"Snipers work, take them." Raven said as the woman walked over to my gun and took it before others joined her as well and took them into the hut. "Next." She said, with me taking up a shotgun.

"Model 680, a 12 gage shotgun, somewhat good accuracy, good damage if close enough, decent range." He said, with me taking aim and hitting the target, with it hitting its mark. I kept this up, up until I ran out of ammo. "Shotguns as well." He said, with them taking said guns and going back to the hut. "That should be it for now." He said, with me looking at him.

"What about the ARs?" I asked, with him shaking his head.

"You couldn't hit your target with an SMG, you wont have any better luck with an AR." He said, with me nodding as I turned to Raven, who tossed two night sticks at me, with me catching them. "You will be fighting me, so get over to my hut." She said as we started making our way there.

Later

Walking around her, she held one sword at the ready, with me having the two Tonfa's as she called them. She didn't keep her eyes on me, and her expression was empty, as if she was telling me that no matter what I did, she would kill me if she got the opening. Seeing her make the first move, I blocked it and attacked her in return, with her spinning around and smacking it out of the way.

Her movements were swift, and I could barely keep up. Each strike I could barely block or dodge, each strike pushing me further back. Getting one leg kicked out from under me, I blocked her next strike by placing both Tonfa's above my head, where she kicked me back.

Rolling on the ground, she started slashing at me, with me rolling out of the way and getting back up. Grabbing her arm as I got behind her, I hit her in the ribs with the Tonfa's, pushing her away from me. Spinning them around, I placed them against my forearm instead of outwards, changing my tactics with them.

Going on the attack, she blocked each strike with her own, where I ended up trapping her blade between the Tonfa's, with me trying to break her sword but to no success. Getting pushed away, she slid her sword out from my hold and slashed at me, with me blocking her slash with an upward strike.

Going on the attack again, she continued to block my strikes until she locked her blade with one of the tonfa's. Striking at her with the other one, she caught my arm before I could hit her. It had turned into a fight over strength at that point, and I was losing slowly.

Getting pushed away, she stood there, watching me as I placed the Tonfas on my shoulders. "Getting tired, Brother?" She questioned as she placed a hand on her hip. "I thought you would have done better than this." She said, with me shaking my head.

"Sorry to disappoint you, Sister, but all of my fights so far have been hand to hand only." I said, with her nodding.

"So I've noticed, and you usually end up losing." She said, making me sigh as she was right, the only time I really won was when Chloe almost became an ice cube.

Seeing her go on the move again, I started blocking her attacks and went for one myself, but she grabbed my arm and gave it a twist, tossing me onto the ground. "You keep making the same attacks, each time you do this your opponent will learn more about you." She said, where I stood up and looked at her as she grabbed her hilt with both hands for the first time.

"Yeah, yeah I figured, considering who you are." I said, going on the attack once more, but this time I tossed one of the Tonfa's in the air, with her looking at it. She still blocked all of my strikes as she had her eyes on the flying Tonfa, with me getting pushed behind her. Grabbing it, I swung at her, with her blocking my strikes. Getting both Tonfa's pushed up, she kicked me in the gut, with me blocking her slash to the same spot soon after.

Getting grabbed, she pulled me forward and pushed, with me jumping over her strike to my legs and attacking her once more, with her blocking one and grabbing the other. Swinging at her handle, she moved it out of the way with such speed that it shocked me as that was my chance to destroy her weapon. Seeing a red streak, I looked at the Tonfa that her weapon was pressed up against, with me seeing that it was destroyed, like, cut in two.

"You have to be faster than that, Brother!" She said as she went on the attack, with me blocking her strikes the best that I could as she had gotten faster. Ducking, I grabbed her leg and pulled it out from under her, with her falling on her back. Looking up at me, I had the Tonfa pointed at her.

Looking at my feet, I saw that her weapon was knocked out of her hand. Backing up, I kicked it forward, with her grabbing it. "I guess I win this one." I said, with her standing up and swinging her blade to the side and then walking over to the table and placing it into its sheath.

"This one, yes." She said, turning to me. "Tonfa's, no, Tonfa, yes." She said, with me smiling at that. "You're getting better, better than yesterday." She said, making me sigh.

"Yeah, that's a lie." I said as I walked over to the table and placed the Tonfa down.

"I'm being serious." She said as she crossed her arms. "You've never used a weapon up until now, and you bested me, even though I was holding back a good bit up until the end." She said, with me looking at her.

"That expression you had, when you told me I had to do better, that was a look that told me that you love combat." I said, with her nodding.

"And I do, but I want to stop fighting at the same time. It scares me, all of this, but if I don't lead these people, then who will? This is their home, it doesn't belong to these monsters." She said, making me sigh.

"I guess you're right." I said as I sat down on the table. "So, what's next?" I asked, making her think.

"I think its time for you to meet your first Grimm." She said, where she started walking to the hut, with me following her.

Later that night

Standing on the branch, we looked out to the clearing and saw these Grimm resembled the Elephants. They had a primarily black body, with giant, white tusks and a white and red patch on their foreheads. They had bony, white protrusions on their bodies, with a massive row of them going down their spines. The Grimm was large, standing at 20 stories tall at the shoulders. They also seem to travel in herds, seeing as they were bunched up together. "Those are Grimm, Grimm being the term of these monsters. Those are called Goliath's, they have a lack of hostility, due to their learning of the consequences of Human conflict. Yet despite this unusual display of restraint, Goliaths still never seem to stray far from the Kingdoms' borders." She said, with me looking at her.

"Why is that?" I asked, with her looking at me.

"They are waiting, what exactly they are waiting for is currently unknown. Most say that they are waiting for the perfect time to strike, others say that it waits for villages to die down and then rampages." She said as she looked at the herd once more. "For now, you don't have to worry about them, there is another Grimm that you have to worry about." She said as she jumped onto another branch, with me following after her.

Later

Making our way to the small island, we came to a stop just off the coast. "This is Patch." She said as she stood up, shaking the boat a little. "See the tree line?" She asked, pointing at it, with me seeing something moving on the other side. "Those are Beowolf's, here they are pure black, they are just born, or being born here. When they get older than ten, they grow armor, twenty they become alphas." She said, with me seeing some of them coming out to the beach and looking out at us, seeing that they were like werewolf's.

"Beowolf, as in-"

"As in the myth. He was here at one point, he even named a few of the Grimm." She informed, before sitting down. "Lets go back, for now." She said, where we started leaving.

The next day

"Beowolf's are fast and agile, they are aggressive and will not hesitate to kill." Raven said as she walked around me as I held the great sword in one hand, doing some practice swings with it.

"If they are going to be fast, then this isn't going to do it." I said as I lowered the sword down. "I need something with reach to keep them away, something fast enough that I can hack and slice with." I said, with her taking the great sword from me.

"Speed, reach, what, you looking for a spear? Sorry, but they will break that staff in two." She said, with me looking out at the farmers, with me seeing them using cycles.

"What about a scythe?" I asked, with her looking at me with a confused expression.

Later

Swinging the scythe, I blocked each of her strikes. Thrusting it at her, she moved her head out of the way. Giving it a twist, she looked back and saw the blade coming at her. She transformed into a bird in the blink of an eye and flew past me, where she changed back and swung her sword at me. I used the staff of the scythe to block her attack and knocked it out of her hand. Swinging it around, I wrapped it around her neck, showing that it was over.

Her eyes were wide as she looked at the blade. "A scythe, it suits you." She said, with me lifting it over her head and placing it by my side. "I was serious, and you still beat me." She said as she walked forward. "There's just one thing left that we need to do." She said as she took the scythe from me.

Later

Holding the short weapon, the blade bend toward, with two barrel appearing. Pulling the trigger, I watched as it fired, kicking just a bit. Pressing a switch, some gears started to rotate, with three blades appearing out of the single blade, becoming a great sword. The blades separated as I twisted the handle, with them bending back into a Tonfa of sorts. Swinging the blade forward, the handle extended, with it became a war scythe. Flipping the blade back, it became a true scythe. "What are you going to name it?" Raven asked, with me looking at her as she walked over to me.

"Name it?" I asked, with her nodding. "What, you name weapons here?" I asked, with her smiling at that.

"Every weapon has a name, its tradition to name your first weapon." She said, with me looking at it.

"My semblance, is Bad Luck." I said as I folded it back into its sword form. "So, I'm thinking... Harbinger." I said, with me looking at her. "And your sword?" I asked, pointing at it. "What is it called?" I asked, making her smirk at that.

"Omen, be it good or a bad Omen." She said as she drew her sword, with it being blue this time. "Dust, it comes in many forms." She said as she swung it at a tree, with it getting coated in ice. Seeing as the blade was missing, she placed it back into the sheath and it rotated. Seeing her pull it out once more, it was yellow. She slashed once more, and once it hit the ice it shattered with lightning striking around it. She placed it back in and out came a red blade, its original blade that she uses. She slashed at the tree and caught it on fire. Seeing her place the handle back, she pulled out a white blade and slashed at the tree, putting the flames out. Placing the handle back, she pulled out a green blade and slashed, with it healing the tree. She calmed her self as she pulled out a purple blade and stabbed the ground, where it was like gravity flipped for her as she held onto the blade as the rest of her body went towards the sky. Her hair wasnt falling to the ground, it was going towards the sky.

She twisted the blade its self, breaking it and allowing herself to land back on the ground without any trouble. "Red is fire, blue is ice, yellow is lighting, purple is what I can guess is gravity, green is plant, white is wind." I said, with her nodding at this.

"Yes, but there is more than that." She said as she walked over to me. "Dust is dangerous, and you are not ready for it, not yet at least." She said as she stopped in front of me. "You leave tomorrow to take Patch, alone." She said, with me narrowing my eyes at that.

"Alone?" I asked, with her walking to the hut.

"Your semblance, Bad Luck, is always active. Even if you ran out of Aura, it would still be there. Having a group with you would end up killing them, but you alone, would prove more than enough for the Grimm." She said as she stopped at the entrance of the Hut and opened it. "While you take Patch, the rest of us will move in from the other side and set camp. They are drawn to negative emotions, as long as you use anger to draw them towards you, they will be distracted long enough for us to set down. Once we are settled in, we will call and tell you to get out of there and from there I will return you to Smallville." She said, where she walked back inside without a care in the world.

The next day

Walking through the forest of Patch, I thought only of Chloe. Grimm are drawn to negative emotions, so that must mean that positive emotions keep them away. As I reached a clearing, the fog cleared up, showing a large group of them, each of them facing me. This is as good as any other. I thought as I came to a stop. Seeing three of them charge at me, I jumped over them and took aim at one before blowing its head clear off.

Landing on the ground, I shot the next one in the gut, blowing a hole in its stomach. Taking aim at the other one, I blew its entire left side off, with me turning the weapon into its sword form. Seeing one charge at me, I slammed it into the ground with the side of the sword. Seeing it look up at me, I twisted the sword and cut it in two.

The others started charging at me at this point, with me folding my blade back and shooting them as they got closer. Seeing one of them get close, I jumped over its slash and shot its head off, getting pushed back due to the recoil. Turning the blade into its scythe form, I stabbed the ground and stood on it, looking out at more of them as they came out of the forest.

Falling off the handle, I used the handle to spring-board us into the air, where I started hacking and slicing them to bits. Hooking my blade around one, I shot the one that was behind it and cut it in half in the process. Cutting the arm from one, I spun around and cut it into three pieces. Jumping up, I hooked the scythe around the neck of another, with me landing on its shoulders. Cutting its head off, I jumped into the air as the others jumped up as well.

I cut them down with ease up until I got closer to the ground, getting pushed back from a slash that hit the handle of my weapon. Seeing as the group of them doubled in size, I let out a sigh as I reloaded my weapon. Charging forward, I put all my might into my legs, with me shooting past them, hacking and slicing them as I turned my scythe into the War Scythe mode. I didn't slow down, I moved fasted and faster with each slash to make sure that they were dead, hell, it had gotten to the point that I couldn't tell how fast I was going or how many were left as it was all a blur.

Stabbing the War Scythe into the ground, I tossed myself up and landed on the tip of the handle, looking out a the forest of dead Grimm. There was nothing left, they were all dead. Seeing a portal appear next to me, I looked at it as Raven stepped out in her combat gear. "You didn't save any for me?" She asked, making me smirk at her response as she placed her sword on her shoulders.

"Sorry, but you were too slow." I said as I turned the War Scythe into its sword form. Jumping off, I grabbed its handle and put it in its stand by form and placed it into its holster behind me.

"I see, so Patch is ours." She said as she slashed at the air, opening a portal. "This will take you to Smallville, but leave the weapon." She said, with me taking the holster off and passing it to her as I walked to the portal. "See you seen, Brother Qrow." She said, with me entering the portal.

Later

Walking into the house, I saw Gabe and Chloe having breakfast. "Hey, I'm back." I said as I stopped at the entrance to the kitchen.

They both looked at me with shocked expressions before getting up and making their way over to me. "You were gone for FOUR DAYS!" Gabe yelled, with me flinching at that. "Why didn't you call us, you had both of us worried!" He said, with me nodding as I saw this coming.

"Well, this is going to be a long story." I said as I sat down at the table to tell them about what had happened.
