I don't own any of this, Loud House belongs to Nickelodeon.

Far away from the cemetery; Lori and Bobby are now hanging about in front of the park, thinking about the events that has transpired tonight. First there had been that meteorite crash landing, then came Lucy and her friends reporting on seeing a blob creature. If the couple didn't know any better, it felt like that they have stepped into some kind of 50s B-movie or something of that nature.

"Do you still not believe in that creature?" Bobby suddenly question Lori.

"Until I see it for myself Bobby, I'm not believing a single thing of it." Lori insisted.

"I thought you would say that." Bobby sighed. Leaning against the car seat, Bobby turned his attention to the dark streets in front of him with the streetlights illuminated it.

Much time has passed after they picked up Lucy and her friends. He could tell that it is very late due to the lack of people walking around on the streets, along with most of the stores and houses being dark. The only exceptions were the night clubs, twenty-four hour fast food joints or convenient stores, and the visible glow of TV's and computers in some houses. Bobby hoped his family aren't starting to get worried that he isn't back yet, probably not, as they know that it isn't exactly a short drive from here to Great Lake City, but still he needed to get going before they started to get worried enough to start a manhunt for him.

Speaking of which; Lori checked the time on her phone with consideration. If she wanted to be good on her promise to her roommate, then she needed to start getting back to the campus if she wanted to catch some sleep, besides she is starting to get rather tired. "I think we had enough monster hunting for tonight Bobby."

"You sure Babe?" Bobby wanted to get going as well, yet he didn't know what Lori is supposed to tell Lucy that they didn't encounter the creature that she along with her friends had encountered earlier in the night.

Lori could see that look on Bobby, so she spoke up to reassure him. "Don't worry Bobby. I'll just tell Lucy that we did see it."

"But isn't that a lie." He quickly countered.

"Yes, but it's just a little white lie." Lori shrugged. "It's no big deal."

"Isn't there a lot of cliches on what happens when you tell a lie?" Bobby pointed out further.

"Well yeah." Lori admitted. "But c'mon Bobby. If there really is a blob, what's the difference of us saying that we saw it. Nothing we can do against a creature like that."

"I suppose." Bobby replied although he wasn't really sure about this.

"Look" Lori continues. "I need my sleep and I don't want to spend the night monster hunting. I'll just tell Lucy tomorrow and everything will be fine."

Starting up the car while still feeling very unsure about Lori's plan. Bobby once again began to drive his way out of town. They didn't get far however for when they got in front of Principal Huggin's house, Bobby stopped in front of the driveway for he has noticed something rather odd.

"Hey, why did we stop?" Lori asked for there was absolutely no reason to be stopping in front of this random house.

"Isn't this principal Huggins house?" Bobby questioned as he stared at it.

Fully looking at the house herself, Lori sees that it is indeed Huggin's house. "Yeah, what's the big deal?"

"His door is fully open." Bobby pointed out to Lori who looked over at the wide open door. "Yeah, it's open. So what?"

"Why does he have his door wide open at this time of night?" Suddenly Bobby let out a gasp for a realization hit him like a piano falling on someone's head. "What if he is being robbed!?"

"Now hold on Bobby. Let's not jump to any conclusions. Besides why would a burglar keep the door wide open?" Lori questioned for that would just draw out too much attention, something that a common thief wouldn't want.

"Perhaps they're taking something big like a TV or couch." Bobby had to do something, he just couldn't let Huggin's get rob, so he pulls out his phone and began to dial for 911. As he does so, Lori decided that since they may be stuck here for awhile, she might as well catch up on some sleep while she can.

Outside; the blob, (which is now the size of Lori), creeps its way towards the back of the car. It is now a dark red with its insides digesting the last of Huggin's right foot.

Reaching the car, it begins to absorb itself around the car making it shake and bump. Alerting the couple just as Bobby got off the phone with the cops, Lori gripped the top handle as the shaking intensified. "Hey! What's going on?!" She asked in a surprise panic.

"I don't know!" Bobby replied in a equal amount of panic, while holding on tight to the steering wheel. Bobby looked up to the rearview mirror where all he could see is the red, squishy body of the blob. "Oh my goodness! What in the name of Zeus is that?"

Lori looked up as well and upon seeing it, there is only one thing that came to mind. "Bail! Bail Bobby!" Opening the doors, both Bobby and Lori jumped out of the car, they crash onto the asphalt where they turned around and couldn't believe on what they are actually seeing with their very own eyes, especially Lori. "Oh my god! It's real!"

"The car!" Bobby panicked for that is his mom's car that the blob had enveloped inside its body. Aw man! How was he supposed to explain to his mother that her car had gotten eaten by this blob. Luckily for Bobby however; the blob gets itself off of the car, unfortunately it was now moving towards him.

Fearfully backing until he reached the sidewalk, Bobby cowered in fear as the blob towered over him. A rock strikes its backside, which only got absorbed by it and didn't really do anything to distract it, much to Lori's dismay as she had hoped that would draw it's attention on her instead of her boyfriend. "Bobby! Get out of there!"

Getting on his knees, Bobby tried to stand up, but fell as the blob grabbed hold of his foot. Yelping in fright and panic, Bobby pulls in vain to get himself free from the blob's tight grip on him, while it begins to move up his shoe. Lori responds to this by getting to her boyfriend's side and pulled after grabbing his arms, it takes a good yank for Bobby's foot to free itself from his left shoe.

From the sudden freedom the two fell backwards and watched the shoe get completely absorbed by the blob that still advanced towards them. Getting up to her feet, Lori quickly leans down and picked up Bobby bridal style. Without any other word or thought Lori with Bobby in her arms, runs towards the only available shelter: Huggin's house.

Coming inside the house Lori closes the door with a kick of her foot, she steps away from the door as Bobby trembles in her arms. Both of them are heavily shaking as well as keeping in their terrified breaths. Gasps escape from the two as the red body of the blob oozed in from the bottom crack of the door, Lori wasn't going to stand around until it got fully inside of the house like some typical horror movie character that ends up getting killed, instead she takes off running towards the kitchen and slipped out through the back door.

Lori ran until they reached the corner of a street that's five blocks away from Huggin's house. Feeling that they were now safe from the blob, Lori sets Bobby down onto his feet, while he is visibility trembling from the encounter. "It's ok Bobby. I think we lost it." She said to calm him down.

"Are you sure? What if it's still after us?" Bobby shook some more for that could very well be true. That blob could be coming right now for all they know.

"I just have a feeling that we did." Lori insisted as she looked back the way they came to absolutely make sure as for the moment she sees it, they are booking it out of here.

"Alright, as long as your sure babe." After a moment to calm his nerves, Bobby began to display fresh new panic as he held his head and began to pace himself around the corner. "Lucy was right about the creature! What are we going to do? We gotta warn people about this!" A idea then strikes Bobby who stopped in mid-pace. "I know! We can tell the police on what we saw!"

"Now hold on Bobby." Lori interjected. "Think about this for a sec. Are the police really going to believe us that we saw a blob creature?"

"We could convince them." Bobby replied with a small voice and a twiddle of his fingers.

"Bobby. If I didn't believe it. Then there is no way a bunch of cops are going to believe us, all they are going to do is laugh us right out of the police station." And Lori knew that was most likely going to happen.

"Then what are we going to do?" Bobby questioned for they had to do something, they couldn't just ignore this thing. People's lives were at stake here for crying out loud. "We have to warn people about this thing."

"I know Bobby, but if we are. We gotta find a place where you can say whatever you want without any proof and people will believe it regardlessly." Thinking about it for a second Lori suddenly gets the idea of social media. Pulling out her phone, Lori goes on every social media site and posted about the blob creature that's roaming around Royal Woods. With that done, it'll only be a matter of time before people took heed of their warning.

As it does so, she and Bobby should still warn people that don't have a social media site. In fact judging by their current location, they were dangerously close to the gym where Lynn is currently practicing in. The possibility of that thing going there is a strong possibly, at least in her eyes.

They needed to get over there quickly before it does. The safety of her athletic sister is at stake here, so they began to run towards the gym as fast as their legs could carry them, they just hoped that they would get there before the blob does.

Dribbling a basketball in the middle of the gym, Lynn locks her eyes at the awaiting basketball hoop, while to the sidelines her fellow teammates and friends: Paula, Diane, Maya, and Amy watched her.

"Alright guys. This one is called the halfway dunk." Dribbling the basketball one more time, Lynn turns her back to the hoop and throws the basketball, which flew in a perfect arch before going through the basket much to Paula's, Diane's, Maya's, and Amy's amazement, though Maya didn't really see it, since she has once again fallen asleep.

"Boom!" Lynn loudly exclaimed waking Maya up with a bit of a sputter.

"Nice shot Lynn." Paula complimented.

"Thanks and you guy can do it to." Lynn stated.

"You really think so? I don't think my sweaty palms can hold the ball for that long." Diane said with a bit of self doubt.

"Yeah. All you need is a bit of practice, as well as being one with the ball. It'll definitely takes awhile, but once you finally make it in that hoop, you'll feel a great amount of pride in yourself." Lynn instructed.

The four girls took careful consideration on what Lynn said. They all wanted to do that shot themselves, so they all lined themselves up behind Lynn. The first one up is Amy who Lynn handed the ball over to, she ultimately decided that she wasn't ready to do it backwards, so Amy simply lines the ball up with the hoop and then throws it.

The ball flies and hits the side of the basketball hoop, which makes it bounce towards the sidelines of the bleachers. Lynn pats her shoulder for that had been a good throw, Amy just had to line it up a bit more and not throw it so high. The other girls took their shots with their own effects: Diane's sweaty palm made the ball fly out of her hands and hit the doors, Maya's shot just missed short of the hoop, and finally Paula's throw struck the rim which was actually the closest out of all of them.

"Don't get discouraged guys. It takes awhile to get that shot. I had to do about a hundred and thirty throws until I finally did it." Lynn assured her team, which did encouraged them to try it again.

Stepping up to the line, Maya is just about to throw the ball when the doors suddenly burst open as Lori and Bobby came rushing in. The sudden noise of the doors spooked Maya to throw the ball in a different direction, the ball flies down and hits Bobby right on the head, making him go dizzy before collapsing to the floor.

Lynn meanwhile is very surprised for what is Lori and Bobby doing here? Aren't they supposed to be on a date tonight. Not to mention she is a bit miffed that they are interrupting their practice. "Lori? Why are you here?"

Lori meanwhile; felt great relief that they have beaten the blob here. It took a good breath out of her as they ran over here, but the main fact is that they beat it, of course that is if it wasn't already here and was just hiding in the shadows. "Lynn! Listen to me! I know this is literally going to sound crazy, but believe me when I say that you all need to get out of here!"

Lynn could hear her teammates mutter in confusion under Lori's sudden announcement. Lynn herself is especially surprised, she is so surprised that she had to take a moment to find her voice. "What? Why?"

Bobby who had just recovered from that bonk to the head with a basketball, stood up with panic in his voice. "There's a blob creature on the loose!"

Lynn and her teammates stood there for a moment, then burst out into laughter with Lynn holding onto her stomach. She was laughing so hard in fact that she almost fell over on her back, Lori and Bobby meanwhile stood there deadpanned as they wait for them to stop laughing, which took about a good three minutes. When they finally did stop, Lynn wipes away a tear before she spoke up again. "Alright good joke guys. You really sold it with the panic in your voices."

"Lynn this is not a joke." Lori replied with a bit of sharpness in her tone.

"Yeah sure it isn't. After all a blob is apparently running among." With that Lynn and the others go into another fit of laughter, which didn't last as long as the last one. "Now if you excuse us. We have to get back to practice." Paula gets ready to shoot, but Lori stepped in front of her in a way that she couldn't shoot it over her.

"Listen to me! It's coming! You gotta get out of here!" She shouted with some haste in her voice. By now Lynn is over with this joke that these two are pulling, practice ends in about 15 minutes and Lori is wasting their time with all this blob nonsense.

"Alright enough of this Lori. The joke's over already, we really need to get going with practice here."

"Look I know this sounds unbelievable. Believe me, I didn't exactly believe any of it myself until it literally attacked us and nearly ate Bobby." Lori explained.

"It's true!" Bobby spoke up before lifting up his foot that shows his grey sock. "It ate my shoe!"

"Wow. You guys sure are sticking to this story aren't ya." Lynn replied with her left eyebrow raised.

"No!" Lori said with annoyance for her sister can just be so stubborn. Admittedly she had no room to talk, since she herself had been stubborn when it came to believing this thing. "Just listen to me for a second." She continued with calmness returning to her voice.

"C'mon Lori get real. If there really is a blob creature. Then where is it?" Lynn waves her hands towards various places of the gym.

"It's probably outside right now. Probably looking for a way to ambush us as we speak." Lori shivers from thinking up such a concept, she is shaking so much that Bobby gently placed his hands on her shoulders and massage them in order to calm her nerves.

Lynn meanwhile is still very skeptical over this whole blob creature, yet upon seeing the fearful look on her eldest sister's face and the shaking of her body. A small part of Lynn began to believe on what Lori is saying for she did look very scared, either Lori is doing a good acting job or there is something to this blob thing.

The blob however didn't show up at the gym. Instead it rolls through backyards and dark streets, picking off any dogs or cats that's unfortunate enough to be in its way. It got even more bigger, up to the size of a car. But yet despite it's huge size, the blob still had no problem of squeezing through small cracks.

It goes through the underside of another fence and into another yard. It stops in the middle of the yard, pulsing as right to its side is the warm glow of the McBride household.
