Has anyone else seen the new Dou Luo Continent with Xiao Zhan as Tang San? I just started watching it the other day! :)

"Oh! We truly are talented!" Zu Que exclaimed, clapping. "I'm sure my spirit is great as well. It's a Phoenix, right, teacher?" Seeing all of their eagerness, Cao Li Yang felt his heart pang. On the Dou Luo continent, they would be considered extraordinary geniuses—each incredible, and one of a kind. If only things were truly like that forever. While regular people might consider rank 90 to be an incredible feat, for those who would reach such levels early on, it wouldn't be near to what they could achieve. Whether they would live to achieve their true level of godhood was something Cao Li Yang didn't know himself. In the end, regular people won't be their competition, but something far more fearsome.
"Teacher Cao?" Zu Que's voice snapped him out of his daze. "I'm sure it's a Phoenix,"
"Well, no,"
"Huh? Is there another bird that looks like what manifested during my awakening?"
"Yes. This is quite a first-rate spirit as well, it's called the Vermillion Bird. As for Ning Tian Cheng, his is the Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda."
"Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda," Ning Tian Cheng repeated proudly, his hands akimbo on his hips. "I will surely be the best assistance to our group in the future. It's the most formidable Auxiliary System tool."
"Auxiliary System?" Bai Shu said. "There are systems too?"
Cao Li Yang nodded. "Each spirit master will be a part of a system. There are respectively 6 different systems: Control, Healing, Defense, Auxiliary, Agility, and Assault. Control system spirit masters are exceptional when it comes to controlling the battlefield. Assault system spirit masters are great at attacking and giving damage to the opponent. Defence system spirit masters have powerful defensive capabilities. Auxiliary system spirit masters are able to support their companions in a variety of ways such as increasing different attributes. Agility system spirit masters are a sort of fusion of agility and attack, but their strongest point is their speed. As for Healing system spirit masters, they usually deal with healing their companions.
Within the original 6 systems, they also will have subsections within them as well. An example is a subsection of the Assault System is the War branch. Or how Food systems is a subsection of Auxiliary systems where Spirit masters are able to produce food that has different effects once eaten."
"The Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda is considered the best Auxiliary System tool, but I never thought mine would be nine tiles! This is even better!" Ning Tian Cheng said, excitedly.
"Tian Cheng," Gu Yan Ling said, her voice somewhat soft from her usual tone. "I've been wanting to ask you something, are you related to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan?" On the Dou Luo continent besides the two empires, and the existence of the powerful spirit master organization Spirit Hall, there were also several different clans, and schools of sorts. Among them, the strongest were the Seven Great Sects, with the most powerful were the upper three sects. The Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan was one of the upper three sects, ranked second while also being the richest. Their symbol was their notable Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda spirit which several of their disciples inherited.
Ning Tian Cheng nodded. They were all from different places ranging from areas all over, each picked up by Cao Li Yang becoming a part of this family. "Yes, my parents were a part of the clan, you can tell by my inherited spirit,"
"How come you didn't go back to the clan?" Zu Que inquired. They all had their own secrets about where they came from, but to one another, several of these facts were already known. Ning Tian Cheng's parents became good friends with Cao Li Yang while he was resting in an area, and before they perished they asked him to help them raise their only son. Although they all knew a few details about each other's pasts, they never tried delving too deep, they had early on decided that on the day they left the village together would each of them answer the other's questions. In the end, after these few years, they saw each other as siblings whom they could trust with all their lives.
"My mother and father both left the clan because they wanted to find strength by themselves," Ning Tian Cheng answered. "They wanted to try testing their own limits without the backing of money and status. They managed to get to quite satisfactory levels and were quite proud. One day, they brought me along to hunt for spirit beasts, but had bad luck and perished. Teacher Cao had come at the last moment and managed to hear their wish for him to raise me. Although, going back to the clan was tempting. If they wished for Teacher Cao to raise me, then I'll follow Teacher. I'm not at all regretful about this, after all, I have all of you as my siblings,"
"Brother Ning," Lan Jing Hua asked. "Why does your spirit have nine tiles then?"
Ning Tian Cheng chuckled, his eyes revealing a faint lustre. "This is a secret you mustn't share. The Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda was just a legend. A major setback of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda is that it can only house 7 spirit rings, thus unable to become a Spirit Dou Luo or higher. However, a Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda is able to house more spirit rings, allowing me to try becoming a Title Dou Luo or even a god if that's possible. Teacher Cao, is godhood really possible?"
"It's possible. As long as you work hard, you might just be able to reach this level, but what is more important is how dedicated the spirit master is. With hard work, even what people call the most "trash" of spirits can turn into something commendable."
"Oh. Can a spirit master be a part of more than one system?" Bai Shu asked.
"Mostly spirit masters are only a part of one system, but this scenario could happen if one's spirit ability also is similar to another system, or if they have two spirits. Twin spirits are something that rarely happens, however, whoever does have them is most likely a genius of sorts." Cao Li Yang said. "Whether you choose to, is up to you. As for all of your spirits, they each are exceptional in their own right, whether you can work hard to fit them is something else. Let me tell you something, now that you all are spirit masters, I will definitely not go easy on all of you. No matter what you may think is unbearable, I will put you up to the task to try being the best you can be," Hearing these words, everyone couldn't help but shiver. Although they knew Cao Li Yang wouldn't do anything to risk their lives, despite his friendly and easy-going personality, when he was serious about something, it would truly make them apprehensive. To the side was a smiling young boy of 12 years who had short black hair with side bangs. This was the eldest of the seven, Qi Long and also the one who spoke up first after this. "Don't worry Teacher, we know you have good intentions towards us. We definitely will work hard, and be worthy of your teachings and effort," His blue-green eyes shone with vigorous determination.
Hearing this, Cao Li Yang let out a smile. "That reassures me. In every generation there are bound to be a couple of exceptional talents that will shake the world, I hope you seven will be one of them."
"Teacher Cao," Qi Long continued. "You already mentioned what system Sister Dan should pursue, but what systems do you think suit the rest of us the most?"
"For Qi Long, Bai Shu, and Zu Que, the ideal system would be assault. For Gu Yan Ling it would be agility. Ning Tian Cheng is a definitive auxiliary, while Lan Jing Hua," He thought for a moment before continuing. "Control. Gemstone spirits are very versatile, they can be in any system depending on how you cultivate it. However, I feel that yours is truly something peculiar. Control would be a good system for it,"
"We'll do as Teacher suggests then," Dan Guo said, rousing a succession of nodding from the others. "Teacher Cao, you said that our spirits are all interesting, and this might allow us to absorb beyond the limit. Then what are our limits?"
"All of you still can only absorb a hundred thousand spirit ring, but later on when we take a break, I can determine something precise."
