Episode 505: Unova Triple Header!
Sora woke up, feeling refreshed. He washed his face and brushed his teeth. He took a refreshing shower and spiked his hair to the way he liked it.
"There," Sora said.
Sora proceeded to make breakfast for everyone as they enjoyed it. Sora amazed even himself with the lessons he took from Cilan. He was lucky to have a teacher like him.
"So, Sora, have you thought up a strategy in your first battle?" Cilan asked.
"You'll have to wait and see, Cilan. I want my opponent to be surprised by what I can dish out," Sora said.
"Yona wanna see that," Yona said.
"So would I," Ocellus said.
"Me too," Patamon said.
"Like I said, you'll have to wait and see," Sora said.
"Ooh, it must be exciting," Pinkie Pie said, wagging her tail. Sora laughed a bit.
"Just know we'll be behind you, Sora," Twilight said.
"And that's a Pinkie Promise," Veemon said.
"Go for it, Sora," Lillie said.
Fireworks goes off as the main event began. Freddy O'Martian sat in his chair as he grabbed his microphone.
"Ladies and gentleman, the Unova Pokémon League is about to begin! The first round will be all triple battles! Trainers must win all three of their battles in order to progress to the second round! Trainers will be using three Pokémon and the battle will be over when all three of their chosen Pokémon are taken down! Now, up on the big screen to our first round matchups!" Freddy O'Martian announced. The matchups had been decided as it was Sora against Burgundy. "And our first battle will be Sora versus Burgundy!" The crowd cheered as both Sora and Burgundy entered the battlefield. Many of the Unova girls were cheering as they were swooning over Sora.
Sora and Burgundy got on the battlefield. Burgundy grinned as she looked right at Sora.
"Cilan might be in this tournament, but I get the next best thing," Burgundy said. "Taking down his Pokémon League Champion buddy."
"I can bet my necklace that she'll be planning on doing an evaluation on my Pokémon," Sora said. "If she says that I have a bad connection with my Pokémon, she'll be in for a world of disappointment."
"Who is she exactly?" Smolder asked.
"That's Burgundy. She's a Pokémon Connaisseuse. That'll be a female Pokémon Connoisseur. We met her on several occasions, and she tries to one-up Cilan every chance she has, but always ends up failing," Aqua explained.
"She won't rest until she finally beats Cilan and become an S Class Pokémon Connaisseuse," Ventus said.
"S Class?" Twilight asked.
"What does that have to with anything?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"A lot. Pokémon Connoisseurs all start out from C Class, which is the lowest. They go from B Class, and then A Class. And S Class is the highest ranking in the rank of Pokémon Connoisseurs. I am an A Class Connoisseur," Cilan said.
"And Burgundy's a C Class," Ventus said.
"What happened that made Burgundy like this?" Armadillomon asked.
"Burgundy challenged Cilan to a battle, and she lost. Ever since then, she saw Cilan as a rival," Terra said.
"When we first met her, she said that Sora and Kairi has the worse connections with their Pokémon, which is a load of bull," Meowth said.
"But she is really trying in her own way," Karen said.
"I hope Sora whips her good, because she has no business being a Connaisseuse or whatever ya'll call it," Applejack said.
"Applejack," Kairi said.
"Ah'm just being honest, sugarcube," Applejack said.
Burgundy took out three of her Pokéballs and threw them.
"Go! Stoutland, Sawsbuck, and Dewott!" Burgundy called out. Her three Pokémon all came out. Sora took out his three Pokéballs and threw them.
"Go! Crustle, Unfezant, and Golurk!" Sora called out. Unfezant, Crustle, and Golurk all emerged from their Pokéballs, ready to go.
"Sora has chosen Unfezant, Golurk, and Crustle as Burgundy has chosen Dewott, Stoutland, and Sawsbuck!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"Hey, doesn't Sora's Unfezant look different from the one Kairi has?" Starlight asked.
"That's because the one Kairi has is a female, while the one Sora has is a male. There are certain Pokémon that has traits that differs depending on which gender the Pokémon is," Cilan explained.
"I'm more worried about the disadvantages Sora has. Crustle is a Rock Type and Golurk is a Ground Type, so Dewott is a Water Type. Also Sawsbuck and Stoutland are both Normal Types, so Ghost Type moves won't affect them," Karen pointed out.
"You're right, Karen. If I know Sora, and I do, he'll turn it around," Kairi said.
"Battle begin!" The referee called out.
"I shall have the first move! Stoutland! Use Tackle on Unfezant! Sawsbuck! Use Megahorn on Golurk! Dewott! Use Razor Shell on Crustle!" Burgundy ordered. Her three Pokémon charged to launch their attack.
"Crustle! Use Protect! Golurk, get behind Crustle! Unfezant! Dodge!" Sora ordered. Golurk got behind Crustle after using Protect. Dewott and Sawsbuck's attacks bounced right off. Unfezant dodged Stoutland's Tackle.
"Burgundy has made a shaky start! How will she make up for it?" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"That's showing her, Sora!" Aqua said.
"Take her down hard!" Lillie said.
"Stoutland! Use Thunder Fang on Unfezant! Sawsbuck! Use Energy Ball on Golurk! Dewott! Use Hydro Pump on Crustle!" Burgundy ordered.
"Crustle! Dodge and use X-Scissor on Stoutland! Golurk! Get in front of Unfezant! And Unfezant! Use Air Slash on Sawsbuck!" Sora ordered. Golurk got in front of Unfezant and took the hit of Thunder Fang. It does nothing due to it being a Ground Type Pokémon. Crustle got out of his shell and lands an X-Scissor onto Stoutland as Unfezant lands a hit with Air Slash onto Sawsbuck.
"Sora isn't giving Burgundy a chance to strike! He might make a quick win in this battle!" Freddy O'Martian announced. Burgundy growled in anger.
"Ooh, I refuse to put up with this! Monsiuer Sora will have a taste of this! Sawsbuck! Use Solar Beam on Crustle! Dewott! Use Ice Beam on Golurk! Stoutland! Use Ice Fang on Unfezant!" Burgundy ordered. Sawsbuck began to build up energy to fire Solar Beam as Dewott fired Ice Beam right at Golurk. Stoutland charged right at Unfezant with Ice Fang.
"Dodge!" Sora called out. Stoutland came too fast for Unfezant to dodge as Deowtt lands a hit with Ice Beam. Sawsbuck then fired Solar Beam. "Crustle! Use Protect!" Crustle uses Protect to block Solar Beam.
"Unfezant and Golurk has taken some serious damage from those Ice Type moves, but Crustle has made a successful block with Protect!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"Use Rock Wrecker!" Sora ordered. Crustle hurls Rock Wrecker right at Deowtt.
"Dodge it!" Burgundy called out. Dewott dodged Rock Wrecker just by jumping out of the way. "Use Water Pulse!" Dewott lands a hit with Water Pulse, causing some heavy damage.
"Burgundy's making a major comeback with that Water Pulse!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"Golurk! Use Shadow Punch on Dewott!" Sora ordered. Golurk lands a Shadow Punch onto Dewott.
"Sora pushes back with a Shadow Punch!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"Yes! Shadow Punch never misses!" Ventus said.
"Pika!" Sparky said.
"It's not over yet," Riku said.
"Dewott! Use Revenge!" Burgundy ordered. Dewott came running towards its opponents to land a hit.
"Unfezant! Use Air Slash!" Sora ordered. Unfezant unleashed Air Slash and it lands a hit onto Dewott. "Now, use Aerial Ace!" Unfezant lands a hit with Aerial Ace, granting Dewott some extra damage.
"Fire Fang on Unfezant!" Burgundy ordered.
"Use Slash on Stoutland!" Sora ordered. Crustle lands a Slash onto Stoutland, causing some heavy damage. "Golurk! Use Earthquake! Crustle! Use Protect!" Crustle uses Protect as Golurk uses Earthquake. The whole battlefield shakes as Dewott, Sawsbuck, and Stoutland are affected by the attack.
"I see why Sora sent out those three! A hint of Protect, with a dash of Flying Type, and Earthquake as the prime ingredient! Simply amazing!" Cilan said.
"Way to go, Sora!" Pinkie Pie shouted, firing her party cannon.
"Okay, Golurk! Use High Horsepower on Sawsbuck!" Sora ordered.
"Sawsbuck! Use Horn Leech on Golurk!" Burgundy ordered.
Golurk and Sawsbuck ran towards each other and lands a hit onto each other.
"Talking about a real clash of power! Golurk and Sawsbuck holds on with High Horsepower and Horn Leech! This could be anyone's guess on how this'll turn out!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
They held on until a small explosion occurs and both fell due to exhaustion.
"Golurk and Sawsbuck are both unable to battle!" The referee announced.
"Both have lost one Pokémon, and now it's been reduced into a double battle!" Freddy O'Martian announced. Sora and Burgundy called back their fallen Pokémon.
"Get some rest, Golurk. You earned it," Sora said.
"You battled well, Sawsbuck. Your efforts won't go to waste," Burgundy said.
"Unfezant! Use Quick Attack on Stoutland! Crustle! Use Slash on Dewott!" Sora ordered. Unfezant lands a hit with Quick Attack as Crustle lands a hit with Slash.
"Stoutland! Use Thunder Fang on Unfezant! Dewott! Use Revenge on Crustle!" Burgundy ordered. Dewott came at Crustle, and gave the stone home Pokémon an uppercut as Stoutland lands a Thunder Fang onto Unfezant. The male proud Pokémon is now paralyzed from Thunder Fang.
"Stoutland lands a paralyzing Thunder Fang onto Unfezant! This'll be tricky to overcome!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"Stoutland! Tackle!" Burgundy ordered. Stoutland lands a Tackle onto Unfezant, making him land on his back. Unfezant struggles to stand up.
"Unfezant has taken lots of damage from that Thunder Fang and Tackle combo! Will it be enough to keep Unfezant down?" Freddy O'Martian asked. Unfezant fell back down, beaten.
"Unfezant is unable to battle!" The referee announced.
"And Sora loses his second Pokémon! It's now two against one! Crustle is at a really huge disadvantage from that Dewott of hers!" Freddy O'Martian announced. Burgundy grinned.
"Sora, you and your Pokémon have the worst compatibilities ever," Burgundy said.
"Still won't let that go, huh? I don't know what it was that Cilan did to make you think you know everything, but your plans will end up going up in smoke if this keeps up," Sora said.
"You're down to one against my Stoutland and Dewott! What could you possibly do?" Burgundy asked.
"Just this. Crustle! Use Shell Smash!" Sora ordered. Crustle exits his shell and begins to glow white. The energy then cracks and breaks off of Crustle's body, causing him to glow red.
"What could Sora be planning to do?" Twilight asked.
"I think I know! Use Shell Smash, Crustle's attack and defense switches, so Crustle's attack strength has increased as Crustle's defense has decreased," Cilan said.
"Knowing Sora, he has something planned," Riku said.
"My stars," Rarity said.
"Use X-Scissor!" Sora ordered. Crustle came at the two opponents and lands a hit, causing some serious damage.
"Ooh! I even felt that from here! That has gotta hurt!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"Now, use Rock Wrecker!" Sora ordered. Crustle hurls Rock Wrecker and it lands a hit onto Stoutland and Dewott, resulting in a double knockout.
"Dewott and Stoutland are both unable to battle! Crustle wins! The winner of the match is Sora!" The referee announced.
"And Sora makes a Rock Wrecker of a victory in the first match of the qualifying round!" Freddy O'Martian announced. Burgundy was at a loss for words since she had lost.
"I don't believe it! I lost! I lost to him!" Burgundy exclaimed. "I hope you lose in the next round!"
"Way to go, Crustle. You gave it your all out there," Sora said. Crustle beamed.
After Sora's match, Kairi embraced her boyfriend for his victory.
"Good work, out there, Sora," Kairi praised her boyfriend.
"Thanks, Kairi. I'll have to admit, Burgundy almost had me," Sora said.
"But, you came through," Kairi said. Sora smiled as Pikachu and Angel embrace each other as well. "How about we have some lunch, just the two of us?"
"I'm down with that, Kairi," Sora said. He wraps his arm around Kairi. "What do you have in mind?"
"It's a surprise," Kairi said.
Cilan was grinning as he watched the couple take off. Burgundy was fuming over her loss to Sora.
"Those two are not compatible together," Burgundy said.
"Actually, they are," Cilan corrected her. She turned to her rival. "Those two have been together since their first journey, so they'll have to be compatible together if they made it this far."
"How would you know?" Burgundy asked.
"I know as a connoisseur of love. As such, I can see that Sora and Kairi are a match made in Heaven," Cilan said. "I knew that from the moment I met them." Cilan smiled fondly.
After Sora dropped off Unfezant, Crustle, and Golurk to the Pokémon Center to be healed, and took off for their meal.
Meanwhile at Ventus's house, Danny has taken some time off since he knew the birth of his child was imminent.
"The baby's coming?! We've got to get to the hospital!" Danny shouted. Cattleya followed as she placed her hand on her pregnant belly
"Danny," Cattleya said.
"We'll have to call the hospital. I knew that baby was a ticking time bomb! I can't contain my excitement!" Danny said, picking up the phone. Cattleya takes the phone from her husband.
"Danny, I told you it was just a kick," Cattleya said.
"It just a kick," Danny repeated. He bent down to his wife's belly. "You gave daddy quite a scare. Made daddy go silly." Danny chuckled. "Silly daddy." He sighed. "Sorry, honey. It's just, ever since you got pregnant, I've been a nervous wreck. Especially with Ventus not here."
"It's alright, dear. You were the same way when I was pregnant with him," Cattleya said.
"That's not true," Danny defended.
"Yes it is," Cattleya said. "I remember just before I went into labor when Delia and Sora came over."
(Flashback)
It was Sora was a little younger when Delia was about to knock on the door.
"The baby's coming?!" Danny exclaimed from inside. Delia sighed as she knew how her brother was getting lately. Sora knocked on the door instead. "The doctor's here!" He opened the door to see his sister and nephew. "Delia, Sora. You weren't supposed to be here until tomorrow."
"After the phone call I made yesterday?" Delia asked in a teasing tone. Sora chuckled at his uncle as Delia shushed him.
"Right, I forgot you called yesterday," Danny said. He looked right at Sora. "Hi, Sora. How have you been, kiddo?"
"Is auntie Cattleya having the baby now?" Young Sora asked.
"No, honey, auntie Cattleya's not having the baby yet. It was just a kick," Cattleya said. Danny chuckled nervously. "Hello, Delia. Hello, Sora. Glad you could come."
"I wanted to come. I wanted to be able to meet my nephew when he arrives," Delia said. Cattleya smiled. He looked to Sora.
"Would you like to come in?" Cattleya asked. "I can make a yummy snacky for you, little Sora."
"Yay!" Young Sora cheered as he went inside. Delia followed inside. Delia and her son stayed for a visit for a few days right up to when Cattleya went into labor. He noticed a puddle on the floor. "Where did all this water come from."
"Sora, my water broke," Cattleya said. Sora had no idea what that means. "It means the baby is getting ready to come."
"The baby's coming?!" Young Sora exclaimed.
"Yes," Cattleya said, when he contractions started. Sora found his mom and uncle on the top.
"Mom, uncle Danny! The baby's coming!" Young Sora said.
"Now?!" Danny gasped.
"My goodness!" Delia added. With that said, the family headed towards the hospital as Cattleya was breathing heavily. Danny went with his wife as Sora stayed with his mother. Several hours later, Sora was sleeping on his mother's lap as she stroked his hair. Danny stepped out with a smile on his face. "How is she?"
"She and the baby are just fine. She's in her room right now," Danny said.
"Can we see them?" Delia asked.
"We can," Danny said. Delia gently woke up her son.
"Wake up, sleepy head," Delia said.
"Mom?" Young Sora asked.
"The baby just came," Delia said.
"We can see the baby?" Sora asked. Delia nodded in response. Delia and her son entered the room to see Cattleya in her hospital bed as she held the newborn in her arms. "Wow, he's so small."
"He's beautiful," Delia said.
"Thank you," Cattleya said. "My son is a beautiful baby boy."
"What's his name?" Young Sora asked.
"Your uncle and I were talking, and we decided to name him, Ventus," Cattleya said.
"Ventus?" Young Sora asked.
"Yes. Ventus is another word for wind. And from the wind we had a while back, we thought it was appropriate," Danny said.
"I think it's a nice name," Delia said. "It's very nice to meet you, Ventus." The baby opened his eyes and smiled.

Danny and Cattleya are holding each other very lovingly.
"Ventus is the greatest thing that has ever happened to us," Danny said.
"It sure was, Danny," Cattleya agreed. "And our little girl will be the same thing with us."
"What are going to name her? We still haven't gotten around to it," Danny said.
"I was thinking of Yuki," Cattleya said.
"Yuki? That's a pretty name," Danny said.
"I'm glad you like it," Cattleya said. "And that's what the name of our second child will be. Yuki."
Back in Pallet Town, Mirei was in the same stage as Cattleya as she enters the baby's new room. Her mother entered with her.
"Yuta has done a wonderful job, hasn't he?" Kairi's grandmother asked.
"He sure has, mom," Mirei agreed. "I remember when he did the same thing for Kairi's room when I was carrying her."
"Indeed. I just hope nothing goes wrong like the last time," Kairi's grandmother said.
"Don't worry, mom. Yuta and I won't be doing that again. Besides, we missed out so much of our daughter's life, I won't make the same mistake with our son," Mirei said.
"That business with that awful Jakira didn't help much. I'm just happy to know that awful man isn't around to threaten us again," Kairi's grandmother said.
"So am I. It's just a shame that he died the way he did. He didn't deserve such a fate," Mirei said.
"What's done is done, Mirei," Kairi's grandmother said. "Now, you should rest. You will need your strength." Mirei giggled.
"You worry about me even when I'm an adult," Mirei said.
"That may be, but it's my job to worry. And I told you that it'll get worse and worse. I also said it to your father," Kairi's grandmother said. Both women laughed as Mirei laid down her bed. She smiled as she thought of Kairi and her new son bonding.
"I can't wait until you come home, Kairi, because your new baby brother will be wanting to meet you," Mirei said.
Back in Vertress City, Hilbert, Nate, Cheren, Bianca, Hugh, Stephan, Cameron, Georgia, Virgil, Jaden, and Benga, had won their battles. The tournament was going to resume on the next day as Sora has exchanged Crustle, Unfezant, and Golurk for Leavanny, Emboar, and Samurott. He had Krookodile, Scolipede, and Leavanny out.
"Okay, Leavanny, Scolipede, and Krookodile. You guys will be going in our next match. Just gotta know who we'll be facing next," Sora said.
"Attention, please!" Nurse Joy called out. All of the remaining trainers gathered to the counter. "Our next matchups has been decided, so I would kindly ask you to look up at the screens and see who you will be facing next." The screen is on display as the mugshots are on display. It shows Sora will be facing against Jaden next. That match will be the sixteenth
"No way! Jaden?" Sora asked in shock.
"Sweet!" Jaden said. He looked right at Sora. "Hey, good luck in our battle tomorrow."
"You too, Jaden," Sora said. Both shook hands, promising each other a good battle.
On the next morning, Hilbert, Nate, Cheren, Bianca, Hugh, Virgil, Benga, Cameron, Stephan, and Georgia has won their matches. Sora and Jaden were up next.
"And now, it's time for battle sixteen for the day! First we have the fun-loving trainer, whose phrase is get your battle on, Jaden Yuki!" Freddy O'Martian announced as Jaden waved to the cheering crowd. "And his opponent is Sora 'Kingdom Hearts' Ketchum!" The crowd cheered him on as well. Jaden took out his three Pokéballs and threw them.
"Go! Electabuzz, Poliwrath, and Magmar!" Jaden called out. His Electabuzz, Poliwrath, and Magmar emerged from their Pokéballs. Sora took out his three Pokéballs and threw them.
"Go! Krookodile, Leavanny, and Scolipede!" Sora called out. His three Pokémon came, and ready to battle. Krookodile adjusted his sunglasses.
"Whoa, what sweet Pokémon you got there, Sora," Jaden said.
"Thanks. Yours are pretty impressive, too," Sora said.
"Thanks, Sora. I won't be holding back," Jaden said.
"I don't want you to, Jaden. It wouldn't be a challenge if you did," Sora said.
"Sora's at a disadvantage again. Poliwrath is a Water Type and a Fighting Type while Krookodile is a Ground Type and a Dark Type," Iris said.
"And to add, Leavanny and Scolipede are both Bug Type Pokémon, and their weak against Fire Type moves," Meowth said.
"Twice that since Leavanny's a Grass Type Pokémon as well," Tentomon said.
"That didn't stop him yesterday, and that won't stop him now," Karen said.
"Chu!" Blossom said.
"Karen's right. Sora can do this," Kairi said.
"Battle begin!" The referee called out.
"Leavanny! Use Energy Ball on Poliwrath! Scolipede! Sludge Bomb on Electabuzz! Krookodile! Use Stone Edge on Magmar!" Sora ordered. Leavanny fires Energy Ball as Scolipede fired Sludge Bomb at Electabuzz, and Krookodile unleashed Stone Edge at Magmar.
"Electabuzz! Use Protect! Poliwrath, Magmar, get behind Electabuzz!" Jaden ordered. Poliwrath and Magmar got behind Electabuzz when it used Protect. All three attacks bounced right off.
"Jaden makes a great start by using Protect to block Energy Ball, Sludge Bomb, and Stone Edge!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"Electabuzz! Use Thunderbolt! Magmar! Use Flamethrower! Poliwrath! Use Ice Beam!" Jaden ordered. Electabuzz, Magmar, and Poliwrath all fired their attacks all at once.
"Two can play the Protect game, Jaden! Scolipede! Protect! Leavanny, Krookodile! Behind Scolipede!" Sora ordered. Krookodile and Leavanny did the same thing as their attacks bounced off of them.
"And Sora does the same thing!" Freddy O'Martian announced. "Talking about a seesaw of strong defense!"
"Krookodile! Use Dragon Claw! Scolipede! Steamroller! Leavanny! Use Razor Leaf!" Sora ordered. Krookodile swiped his claw at Electabuzz as Scolipede rolled into Magmar. Leavanny fired Razor Leaf and caught all three of them in it. "Scolipede! Use Poison Tail on Electabuzz!" Scolipede lands a hit with Poison Tail, leaving Electabuzz poisoned.
"Uh-oh! Electabuzz is now poisoned by Scolipede's Poison Tail! How will Jaden respond to that?!" Freddy O'Martian exclaimed.
"Electabuzz! Thunder Punch on Scolipede!" Jaden ordered. Electabuzz lands a Thunder Punch onto Scolipede. "Sweet! Magmar! Use Fire Punch on Leavanny!" Magmar moved in to land a punch onto Leavanny.
"Block with X-Scissor!" Sora ordered. Leavanny blocked with X-Scissor. Both Pokémon held their ground, trying to overpower the other.
"Leavanny and Magmar are holding on with X-Scissor and Fire Punch, not one of them is backing down!" Freddy O'Martian announced. The clash ends in a draw as Magmar and Leavanny ends up being exhausted. "And that ends in a draw!"
"Poliwrath! Use Dynamic Punch on Krookodile!" Jaden ordered. Poliwrath came running towards the intimidation Pokémon. Sora knew a hit from Dynamic Punch will leave its target confused, so he thought fast.
"Krookodile! Use Dig to dodge!" Sora ordered. Krookodile dug into the battlefield to avoid Poliwrath's punch attack.
"Krookodile manages to dodge Poliwrath just by using Dig! A close save on Sora's part!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"That was a sweet dodge! But not good enough! Poliwrath! Use Scald in that hole!" Jaden ordered. Poliwrath unleashed hot water in the hole, forcing Krookodile out.
"Poliwrath unleashed Scald in the hole Krookodile used to dig!" Freddy O'Martian announced. "Sora will have to come up with something new if he wants to stay in this tournament!"
"Man, he's even better than I thought," Sora said. "Okay, Leavanny! Use String Shot on Poliwrath!" Leavanny fired String Shot and wraps Poliwrath in his silk.
"Poliwrath is tied up in silk and Poliwrath can't seem to move!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"Yes! Poliwrath can't move with that String Shot in play!" Ventus said.
"Now, Sora's just gotta keep it up," Spike said.
"Can't use Razor Leaf or X-Scissor, because they're going to cut the silk, so instead, I'll do this! Energy Ball!" Sora ordered. Leavanny fired Energy Ball and it struck Poliwrath hard.
"Magmar! Flamethrower on Poliwrath!" Jaden ordered. Sora was confused by what Jaden told Magmar to do. It fires Flamethrower, burning off the silk. Poliwrath was now free from the silk.
"Ah, Magmar uses Flamethrower to burn the silk right off its teammate! Poliwrath is now free!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"Magmar! Fire Punch! Electabuzz! Thunder Punch! Poliwrath! Dynamic Punch!" Jaden ordered. All three Pokémon all came at Sora's Pokémon and lands a successful hit. Leavanny, Scolipede, and Krookodile all got hit hard. Scolipede ends up being paralyzed. Krookodile and Leavanny has taken some heavy damage from Fire Punch. Krookodile has also taken some heavy damage from Dynamic Punch. Krookodile is now confused.
"Krookodile, Leavanny, and Scolipede has taken some heavy damage from those punch attacks! Sora is in a real bind!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"Sora, hang in there," Silverstream said.
"It doesn't look good out there, does it?" Sandbar asked.
"Not if he keeps it up," Terra said.
"Chu," Thor said.
"Leavanny, hang in there," Sora said. Leavanny's body gave off a yellow aura.
"What's going on with Leavanny?" Starlight asked.
"It must be Swarm," Riku said.
"What's Swarm?" Sandbar asked.
"It's an ability that Bug Type Pokémon like Sewaddle, Swadloon, and Leavanny all share when their stamina is down. It powers up any Bug Type moves Leavanny has greatly," Riku said.
"Leavanny! String Shot again! Around Magmar this time!" Sora ordered. Leavanny fires String Shot onto Magmar, tying its beak.
"Leavanny's String Shot ties up Magmar's mouth, so now it cannot use any Flamethrower!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"Use X-Scissor!" Sora ordered. Leavanny lands a devastating hit onto Magmar, sending it flying. Magmar struck the wall, resulting in a knockout.
"Magmar is unable to battle!" The referee announced.
"And that makes one Sora eliminated while Electabuzz and Poliwrath are left to contend with!" Freddy O'Martian announced. Jaden called back Magmar and he smiled.
"That was a sweet combo. Using String Shot to tye up Magmar to keep her from using Flamethrower, but then using X-Scissor to wrap it up! I'm not done yet! Electabuzz! Use Brick Break on Leavanny!" Jaden ordered. Electabuzz rushed towards Leavanny to land a hit.
"Scolipede! Use Poison Tail to protect Leavanny!" Sora ordered. Scolipede tried to rush to Leavanny's aide, but his paralysis kicks in, preventing Scolipede from moving. "Okay, Leavanny! X-Scissor again!" Leavanny uses X-Scissor to block Electabuzz and both got hit pretty bad. Electabuzz's poisoning kicked in as Leavanny fell to the ground. Electabuzz also did the same thing, resulting in a double knockout.
"Leavanny and Electabuzz are both unable to battle!" The referee announced.
"Jaden has finally taken down one of Sora's Pokémon, but he also lost another one! It's now, two against one! How will Poliwrath be able to stand up against two opponents at once?" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"Poliwrath! Ice Beam on Scolipede!" Jaden ordered. Poliwrath fired Ice Beam right at the megapede Pokémon.
"Use Protect!" Sora ordered. Scolipede uses Protect to block Ice Beam. "Now, use Sludge Bomb! Krookodile! Use Dragon Claw!" Scolipede fires Sludge Bomb right at Poliwrath.
"Dodge it!" Jaden called out. Poliwrath jumped out of the way. Krookodile was still confused, but he was able to land a slash with Dragon Claw, dealing some heavy damage onto it.
"Use Scald!" Jaden ordered. Poliwrath fired Scald right at Krookodile, dealing some heavy damage.
"That Scald must have felt too hot for Krookodile to handle!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"Scolipede! Use Poison Tail!" Sora ordered. Scolipede rushed over to Poliwrath to land a hit.
"Use Ice Beam on Scolipede!" Jaden ordered. Poliwrath fired Ice Beam and freezes Scolipede solid.
"Poliwrath turned Scolipede into a popsicle! I'm talking cold!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"Poliwrath! Use Dynamic Punch on Scolipede now!" Jaden ordered. Scolipede is struck hard and fell to the side, beaten.
"Scolipede is unable to battle!" The referee announced.
"Both trainers are both down to one each! It could be anyone's battle!" Freddy O'Martian announced. Krookodile and Poliwrath are both panted in exhaustion. Sora knew the battle was taking a real toll on him. Krookodile manages to shake off the confusion.
"Krookodile's pretty pooped out there, and both of his Types are weak against Water and Fighting Type moves. Gotta end this fast," Sora said.
"This is loads of fun! Sora is really giving it to me! I'm fired up from this match! I just wish it could keep going," Jaden said. "But, all good things has to come to an end."
"Krookodile! Use Dragon Claw!" Sora ordered.
"Poliwrath! Use Dynamic Punch!" Jaden ordered. Krookodile and Poliwrath ran towards each other. Krookodile swiped his claw at Poliwrath as Poliwrath lands a powerful punch. Both Pokémon stood their ground as Poliwrath fell to the ground as Krookodile just fell on his knees. Poliwrath tried to get back up, but fell back down, faced down.
"Poliwrath is unable to battle! Krookodile wins! The winner is Sora!" The referee announced.
"And Sora moves on with a second win!" Freddy O'Martian announced as the crowd cheered. Jaden called back his Poliwrath and laughed.
"Hey, Sora!" Jaden called out to Sora. He looked right at him. "You got game! You deserved to win after that!"
"Thanks, Jaden! You do, too!" Sora said. Both shook hands.
As other battles has came and went as the rest of the group congratulated Sora for his latest win.
"That was a great battle, Sora," Gallus said.
"MVP, Sora!" Rainbow added.
"You strong like yak!" Yona added.
"We should throw a party!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed, firing her party cannon. Confetti gets into Iris's hair.
"Watch it!" Iris said.
"Axew!" Axew said.
Later after Sora checked Leavanny, Scolipede, and Krookodile in the Pokémon Center, he wondered who he was going to take on next.
"Alright everyone, set your attention to the screen and see the next matchups taking part tomorrow!" Nurse Joy said. It turns out that Sora will be battling Georgia, and it's going to be the eighth battle. Hilbert's is going to be third, Nate's is seventh, Bianca's will be ninth, Cheren's will be twelfth, Virgil's will be fourteenth, Benga's will be fifteenth, Hugh's will be the sixteenth, and Stephan's will be seventeenth. Georgia looked right at Sora.
"Well now, it looks like I'll be up against you, Champion-boy," Georgia said. "You're as close to Iris I'll ever get to in the Unova Pokémon League."
"Who is she?" Smolder asked.
"She's Georgia. She's a rival of Iris's. She made it her mission to battle Dragon Type Pokémon, so she calls herself a Dragon Buster," Kairi explained.
"Dragon Buster? Really?" Spike asked, unimpressed.
"Yeah. Iris always said that she's such a little kid," Kairi said.
"So what if I'm a kid!" Georgia exclaimed. She sets her attention back to Sora. "I'll be looking forward in whooping you tomorrow."
"Save it for the battlefield, Georgia," Sora said. "Because that's where that kind of talk belongs."
"If you got Dragon Types, then send them put, because I plan to dish them out," Georgia said, taking off.
"And I thought Burgundy was bad, but that gal is just as bad," Applejack said.
"Of course. And that outfit is so garish, it offends my eyes just to look at it," Rarity said.
"Sora will beat her," Iris said. She looked right at her. "And his win will bring honor to Dragon Type trainers everywhere."
"If she wants Dragon Types, then that's what she's gonna get," Sora said. After Scolipede, Krookodile, and Leavanny were healed up, he exchanged them for Haxorus, Hydreigon, and Druddigon.
On the next day, Hilbert and Nate won their battles, it was now time for battle number eight.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we are now entering battle number eight! On my left is Sora Ketchum against Dragon Buster Georgia!" Freddy O'Martian announced. Sora and Georgia entered the battlefield and Sora took out three Pokéballs and threw them.
"Go! Haxorus, Hydreigon, and Druddigon!" Sora called out. His three Pokémon all came out as Georgia grinned. Stars swirls around Hydreigon upon entry.
"I was hoping for some Dragon Types," Georgia said, taking out her three Pokéballs and threw them. "Beartic, Bisharp, and Vannilluxe! Go!" Her Beartic, Bisharp, and Vannilluxe all came out to battle.
"Sora is using three Dragon Types against her?" Armadillomon asked.
"Sora never could disappoint his opponents," Agumon stated.
"Haxorus, Hydreigon, and Druddigon are up against two Ice Types, and that puts all three of them at a huge disadvantage," Cilan said.
"Battle begin!" The referee called out.
"Bisharp! Use Metal Sound!" Georgia ordered. Bisharp extends her arms outwards, then slams her arms together, and silver colored sound waves spread out. Haxorus, Hydreigon, and Druddigon found the sound to be unbearable. "Vanilluxe! Use Icy Wind! Beartic! Use Ice Beam!" Vanilluxe and Beartic launch their Ice Type attacks at the three Dragon Type Pokémon. They all took heavy damage.
"Georgia makes a cold start with those moves after starting out with Metal Sound thanks to Bisharp!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"Hydreigon! Use Dark Pulse on Vanilluxe! Druddigon! Use Fire Fang! Haxorus! Breaking Swipe on Beartic!" Sora ordered. Haxorus swung his tail right at the polar bear Pokémon, dealing some damage as Druddigon came right at Bisharp with Fire Fang, dealing some damage. Hydreigon deals some damage onto Vanniluxe with Dark Pulse. "Dragon Rush!" Haxorus ran towards Beartic with Dragon Rush.
"Dodge and use Ice Punch!" Georgia ordered. Beartic lands an Ice Punch onto Haxorus. The axe jaw Pokémon. "Vanilluxe! Use Hail!" Vanilluxe floats up in the air as thick clouds gathers around and hail starts falling down the sky. Haxorus, Hydreigon, Druddigon, and Bisharp all were struck by the falling ice.
"Hail falls from the sky as all but Beartic and Vanilluxe are struck by Hail!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"Beartic! Use Focus Blast on Hydreigon!" Georgia ordered. Beartic hurls Focus Blast onto Hydreigon, dealing some heavy damage due to him being a Dark Type Pokémon. Vanilluxe heals in the hail.
"Hydreigon has taken some major damage from Focus Blast! And Vanilluxe has healed up thanks to Hail!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"How did Vanilluxe heal itself?" Gallus asked.
"That'll be because of Ice Body. It's an ability Vannilite, Vanillish Vanilluxe has that allows it to heal during a hailstorm," Terra said.
"That doesn't sound fair," Spike said.
"Healing during a match isn't against the rules," Aqua said.
"Sora will be in a real bind of this keeps up," Kairi said.
"Bisharp! Use Guillotine on Druddigon!" Georgia ordered. Bisharp ran towards the cave Pokémon. Just when she got close enough, Druddigon just grabbed the sword blade Pokémon.
"Use Dragon Tail!" Sora ordered. Druddigon smacked Bisharp hard with Dragon Tail. Bisharp is sent flying and struck the wall.
"That Dragon Tail has done some serious damage!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"Use Fire Fang!" Sora ordered. Druddigon came at Bisharp and did some heavy damage, resulting in a knockout.
"Bisharp is unable to battle!" The referee announced.
"Sora has taken the lead in this match! Georgia is now down to two while Sora still has three!" Freddy O'Martian announced. Georgia growled.
"I won't let you get away with that! Beartic! Use Ice Beam!" Georgia ordered.
"Haxorus! Use Dragon Pulse!" Sora ordered. Haxorus fired Dragon Pulse as the two attacks collides with each other.
"Ice Beam and Dragon Pulse are holding their own, and not one of them is backing down one bit!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"Vanilluxe! Use Icy Wind!" Georgia ordered. Vanilluxe fired Icy Wind to back up Ice Beam. The combo attacks gotten even stronger.
"Now Beartic and Vanilluxe are working together with that Icy Wind and Ice Beam combo!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"Hydreigon! You use Dragon Pulse, too!" Sora ordered. Hydreigon joined right in with the Dragon Pulse combo.
"And it's giving off the same results! It could be anyone's guess how this'll turn out!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"Druddigon! Use Fire Fang on Vanilluxe!" Sora ordered. Druddigon lands a burning bite onto Vanilluxe, dealing some heavy damage. Vanilluxe ends up being burnt. Vanilluxe has healed a bit, but took some damage from the burns. Beartic was overpowered with Haxorus and Hydreigon's double Dragon Pulse combo.
"Beartic has definitely felt that! That double Dragon Pulse has dealt some serious onto Beartic!" Freddy O'Martian announced. Beartic stood back up on its feet. "Look at this! Beartic's still standing after taking that double whammy!"
"I knew it was going to take more than two Dragon Pulse attacks to take my Beartic down! And here's a way to prove it right here and now! Beartic! Use Icicle Crash!" Beartic unleashed Icicle Crash right at the Dragon Type Pokémon.
"Dodge it!" Sora called out. Haxorus manages to dodge, but Druddigon and Hydreigon have taken heavy damage from Icicle Crash. "Vanilluxe! Use Blizzard!" Vanilluxe unleashed Blizzard and struck Hydreigon and Druddigon. Hydreigon ends up being frozen.
"Hydreigon is now frozen solid from Vanilluxe's Blizzard attack!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"Beartic! Ice Beam on Hydreigon!" Georgia ordered. Beartic unleashed Ice Beam and struck Hydreigon, resulting in a knockout.
"Hydreigon is unable to battle!" The referee announced.
"Hydreigon is now down for the count! Two Pokémon remain for each one!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"Druddigon! Dragon Claw on Vanilluxe!" Sora ordered. Druddigon charged right at Vanilluxe with Dragon Claw.
"Use Icy Wind!" Georgia ordered. Vanilluxe fired Icy Wind right at the cave Pokémon. Druddigon was taking some damage, but he slashed at Vanilluxe and she fell right on the ground.
"Use Fire Fang!" Sora ordered. Druddigon gave a Fire Fang onto Vanilluxe, resulting in another knockout. The hailstorm suddenly stops.
"Vanilluxe is unable to battle!" The referee announced.
"Georgia's chances for a comeback has left Georgia cold; no pun intended! How will Georgia get out of this funk?" Freddy O'Martian asked.
"Beartic! Use Icicle Crash!" Georgia ordered. Beartic unleashed Icicle Crash and it struck Druddigon hard. The cave Pokémon was now down for the count.
"Druddigon is now unable to battle!" The referee announced. Beartic and Haxorus were both exhausted from the intensity of the battle.
"Now Sora is down to one left on the field! Beartic has the advantage and it could be her battle, or it could be Sora to wait for a miracle to happen!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"No miracles for you today, Sora! Beartic! Use Icicle Crash again!" Georgia ordered. Haxorus unleashed another Icicle Crash and it heads right towards Haxorus.
"If this hits, then it could be all over!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"Chop those icicles!" Sora called out. Haxorus swings his tusks around and cuts the icicles into smaller bits. Georgia was stunned by what was happening.
"Haxorus is hacking its way towards its opponent! What an unexpected turn of events!" Freddy O'Martian announced.
"Okay, use Dragon Rush!" Sora ordered. Haxorus rushes towards Beartic with Dragon Rush.
"Dodge it!" Georgia called out. Beartic tried to dodge, but Haxorus came too fast for the polar bear Pokémon to dodge. "Beartic!"
"Use Breaking Swipe!" Sora ordered. Haxorus swings his tail right at Beartic and sends Beartic rolling. Beartic struck the wall hard.
"Haxorus makes good use of its tail with Breaking Swipe! Can Beartic keep going?" Freddy O'Martian asked.
"You bet Beartic can go on! Prove it!" Georgia said. Beartic stood up with a loud roar, but fell back on the ground, beaten. "Beartic, no!"
"Beartic is unable to battle! Haxorus wins! The winner is Sora!" The referee announced.
"And Sora wins his third match and is moving on the next round!" Freddy O'Martian announced. The crowd cheered as Georgia scowled. She called her Beartic back and she smiled.
"No biggie, Beartic. You were still awesome out there," Georgia said. She walked up to Sora. "Hey." He turned to his opponent. "I lost to your Dragon Types, but just know I don't plan on losing next time we meet."
"I doubt you would plan to. I plan to give you everything I have just like today," Sora said.
The rest of the battles raged on as Cheren, Bianca, Hugh, Virgil, Benga, Stephan, and Cameron all won theirs. The Unova Pokémon League tournament was going to get more intense than ever as Sora is preparing for his next challenge in the tournament.
