Episode 513: More Than Meets the Eye Part 2
Just outside the Ark, the Mane Six, Spike, Starlight, the Young Six, and the Digimon followed the Autobots back to their base.
"This has got to be their hidey hole," Armadillomon said.
"The bots we were just told about must be in there," Wormmon said.
"I can bet my whiskers that they're holding Sora and the others as hostages," Gatomon said.
"If they are, then they're going to be sorry they did," Rainbow Dash said.
"Hold it, Rainbow. We don't even know how many of them there are," Applejack said.
"They have Sora and Kairi, and I am not going to let anything happen to them," Rainbow Dash said.
"Me neither. Everyone, get ready to Digivolve!" Agumon said. All of the Digimon agreed as they started to Digivolve. "Agumon Digivolve to... Greymon!"
"Gabumon Digivolve to... Garurumon!"
"Veemon Digivolve to... Veedramon!"
"Wormmon Digivolve to... Stingmon!"
"Biyomon Digivolve to... Birdramon!"
"Tentomon Digivolve to... Kabuterimon!"
"Palmon Digivolve to... Togemon!"
"Hawkmon Digivolve to... Aquilamon!"
"Armadillomon Digivolve to... Ankylomon!"
"Gomamon Digivolve to... Ikkakumon!"

The Mane Six, Spike, Starlight, and the Young Six were amazed by their Digivolution.
"Whoa nelly," Applejack said with awe.
"So that's how it's done," Twilight said.
"Digimon, move in!" Greymon ordered. The Digimon charges right towards the Ark.
Inside the Ark, Drift drew his sword.
"Optimus, we have intruders," Drift said.
"Decepticons?" Optimus asked.
"No," Drift answered.
Before Sora could ask what was going on, Greymon charged in first. He ran roaring as Drift came right at the dinosaur-like Digimon.
"Outta my way!" Greymon shouted.
"No further!" Drift said.
"Greymon, stop!" Sora called out. Greymon tackled Drift as Garurumon jumped towards Gears. Ikkakumon came running towards them as Bulkhead grabbed him. The rest of the Digimon came running in. "Guys, stop!"
"They're the good guys!" Kairi added.
"Pika!" Pikachu shouted.
"Let them go!" Greymon demanded. Drift kicked Greymon off.
"Foul creature!" Drift said, before Optimus stopped him.
"Autobots! Stand down!" Optimus ordered.
"I should have guessed you would try this," Greymon said.
"Greymon, they're not the bad guys. Some of these bots helped us yesterday, remember?" Sora asked. Greymon looked at the Autobots, in a standoff with the Autobots. He saw they were in no danger.
"Guys, stand down," Greymon said. The Digimon reverted back to their previous forms. The Mane Six, Spike, Starlight, and the Young Six came rushing inside.
"Is everything okay?" Twilight asked.
"Of course everything's okay," Sora said. "And we have lots to explain."
Aboard the Nemesis, Starscream checked on the process of the red Energon.
"How is the red Energon progressing?" Starscream asked. Knockout sighed.
"As I keep telling you, not so much. Speed inducing Energon takes longer than normal Energon, also I kept saying," Knockout said.
"Is there anyway to speed it up?" Starscream asked.
"It's going as fast as it can go. Red Energon isn't easy to come by since it's so rare," Knockout said.
"Then, find a way to speed it up! I need it ready soon!" Starscream said. Starscream stepped out of Knockout's lab and he huffed. "How is it possible that he is a scientist, and yet he is completely incompetent? When I am leader of the Decepticons, Knockout will be demoted as my personal target practice dummy."
Back to the Ark, the Mane Six, Spike, Starlight, the Young Six, and the Digimon were told the same thing Optimus told Sora and the others.
"My word," Rarity could only say.
"Hard to believe they've been here for so long," Gabumon said.
"That what I thought. The Autobots are looking for something called the AllSpark. It's what gave the bots their lives," Sora said.
"So, they want to keep it out of Megatron's hands just so they don't use it for evil," Aqua said.
"I hope they find the AllSpark. They need it to restore Cybertron," Biyomon said.
"Me too. Because I'm worried that the Decepticons might be set their sights on Equestria," Twilight said.
"Well, the Cons won't take it without a fight," Sora said. "The Autobots aren't the only ones fighting for a home."
"Somehow I had a feeling you were gonna say that, Sora," Meowth said.
"Agumon and the other Digimon fought for their home. And Megatron isn't going to settle with just Cybertron, just like Myotismon wasn't going to settle with the Digital World," Sora said. "Myotismon made it our war when he set his sights on our world, and the Cons did the same thing."
Over to the Autobots, they were talking among themselves.
"So, who gets the first shift?" Bumblebee asked.
"And with whom?" Hot Rod asked.
"Hot Rod and Arcee shall take the first shift for Sora Kairi, and Karen while Bumblebee shall watch over Ventus. Ironhide shall watch over Terra, and Prowl shall watch over Aqua," Optimus said.
"What about the rest of us?" Trailbreaker asked.
"Because the Decepticons have seen our new human friends, they shall make an attempt on their lives. We cannot allow that," Optimus said.
Over to Team Shadow, they have come across every known Autobot and Decepticon sighting so far. Over to Miror B, he was sitting with Gorigan.
"Man, we've been at this for a while, and so far we got a whole lot of nothing," Miror B said.
"You've said it. We find one of those giant robots, and suddenly the trail goes cold. Colder than a Glalie's tooth," Gorigan said. "We're here in Kanto, busting our balls off, searching for who knows what, and what do we have to show for it? Nothing."
"Ever since that thing was found, I have been bored to no end! So bored, I haven't had a bit of time to myself," Miror B said.
"We could be carrying out on our own operations, but we're here instead," Gorigan said.
"I could be making my own dance studio, and you can go climb up a tree or something like an ape at a zoo," Miror B said.
"Hey! I do not do that!" Gorigan said.
"And you're just crouching down on your four legs, like an Ivysaur, and you're telling me you're not doing that?" Miror B asked.
"And what about you, dancing like a wannabe disco dancer," Gorigan said.
"Shut up," Miror B said.
Over in Team Shadow HQ, Matues returned to speak with Grogar and his alleys.
"What do you want now?" Grogar asked.
"To talk," Mateus replied. "What sort of magic do you possess?" Grogar looked at him funny.
"What do you mean?" Grogar asked.
"I noticed you use your horns to generate magic. You have been attempting to escape, but your efforts are in vain," Mateus said.
"Why is that any interest to you?" Tirek asked.
"I have seen magic before in this world, and yet, yours I am not familiar with. It has been so many centuries. I have been curious for quite some time," Mateus said. The villains looked him strangely.
"What do you mean so many centuries?" Cozy Glow asked.
"Explain!" Chrysalis said.
"Perhaps I shall explain," Mateus said, using his magic to release the villains. "I was once the emperor of the most feared empire the world has ever known. That empire was known as Palamecia."
"You? An emperor?" Chrysalis chuckled.
"I was until Sir Aaron has defeated me," Mateus said.
"Um, I have a question here," Cozy Glow said. "If you have been alive for centuries, then how come you don't look really old?"
"It is quite simple, my dear. I am immortal. Many centuries ago, my empire was on the verge of victory. My goal was to rule over the entire world. As I have conquered more kingdoms, I was growing older. I had to conquer age as well. I conjured a demon to grant me immortality, and to conquer my enemies. My reign as emperor came to an end when Sir Aaron has defeated me, but he has only weakened me. I became an emperor without an empire to rule. With the passing of time, my people all aged and died, until only I remained. I plan to rebuild my empire, and Palamecia shall rise again," Mateus explained.
"And why would you need a bunch of humans to do your handy work?" Tirek asked.
"Team Shadow is the key to do so. I recruited them because they are motivated by hatred, rage, and revenge. Something that you all seek in kind," Mateus said.
"Is that why you wanted us to roll with you?" Chrysalis asked. "I take orders from no one, thank you."
"You shall be wise to heed my offer. Side with me, and revenge against your enemies shall be guaranteed," Mateus said.
"And if we refuse?" Grogar asked.
"Then, you all shall die by my hands," Mateus said. "And it is essential that you keep my identity as an emperor a secret." He uses his magic on them. The villains tried to struggle out. "And if you don't..." He tightens his hold over them.
"I'm in!" Cozy Glow said.
"Count me in!" Chrysalis said.
"You call the shots!" Tirek said.
"We shall do your bidding," Grogar said. Mateus releases the villains from his hold. "What is it you want done?"
"There is a task for you to go on. You shall go and retrieve eight special crystals. Succeed, and you will be rewarded greatly. Fail, and you shall die," Mateus said. Xande appeared. "You shall accompany Xande. Now go!" Xande vanishes, taking the Equestrian villains with him.
Back in Pallet Town, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Sparky, Thor, and Eclair went home to Porta Vista as Sora, Kairi, Karen, Pikachu, Angel, and Blossom went back to their houses as the Mane Six, Spike, Starlight, the Young Six, and the Digimon returned to the mansion. Kairi and Angel entered the house as Yuta was picking a picture of his son. He noticed Kairi just coming in.
"Kairi, just in time! I was thinking of taking a picture of you and Seth, so I could show your mother and grandmother later," Yuta said.
"Sure, dad," Kairi said. She took Seth and held him on her lap. Yuta got the camera ready.
"Okay, you two. Say cheese!" Yuta said.
"Cheese!" Kairi said.
Yuta took the picture. A click is heard.
"That was great. How about one more with the flash just to make sure. Say cheese again!" Yuta said.
"Cheese again!" Kairi said as her father took the picture. Seth blinked several times.
"Thanks a lot, Kairi. It's just time for Seth's nap," Yuta said.
"Why don't I do that?" Kairi asked, carrying her brother up stairs. Kairi was still amazed by the baby room. She placed him in the crib and gave him a kiss on the forehead. "Sleep tight, Seth." Seth yawned as he fell to sleep. Kairi quietly stepped out of the room and gently shut the door.
Over to Sora and Karen, Pikachu and Blossom were being tackled by the Pichu.
"Guys, I told you not to tackle us like a rampaging Rhyhorn!" - Pikachu subtitle.
"We're bored!" - Pichu subtitle.
"Boredom's no excuse! You could have hurt us, or yourselves if you aren't careful!" - Pikachu subtitle.
"Go easy on them, big brother. They're just happy to see us." - Blossom subtitle.
It was obvious to Pikachu that his sister loved the two Pichu the same as Angel does.
Over to the Ark a few days later, Perceptor has been trying to get a hold of the Decepticons for quite some time. At the same time, he has sent a handful of Autobots over to locations of Energon before the Decepticons could find it. Windblade enters the room.
"Perceptor, got a klik?" Windblade asked.
"What's on your mind, Windblade?" Perceptor asked.
"It's about those humans. What do we do when we eventually tell them about the great evil I was talking about?" Windblade asked.
"I have worried about that as well, Windblade," Perceptor admitted. "I doubt they would understanding when we reveal an evil greater than even Megatron." A beeping sound is heard. Perceptor pushes a button and he is picking up an Autobot signal. "Odd."
"What?" Windblade asked.
"I am picking up some an Autobot signal," Perceptor said.
"How is that possible? I thought we were the only Autobots here," Windblade said.
"As did I. Optimus must know this," Perceptor said.
A little later, Sora, Kairi, Karen, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Blossom, Sparky, Thor, Eclair, the Mane Six, Spike, Starlight, and the Digimon were gathered with the Autobots about Perceptor's discovery.
"How is this possible?" Optimus asked.
"I am not sure myself, Optimus. The craft might have crashed landed long before we have," Perceptor said.
"So, there could be other Autobots like you," Sora said.
"Yay! New friends!" Pinkie said.
"Let's not get our hopes up, kid," Warpath said, making Pinkie groan. "Cons are known to bait us with false clues."
"Warpath has a point. It might be a trap," Hound said.
"But Sora does have a point as well. There could be Autobots who are stranded, same as us," Cosmos said.
"What are your orders, Prime?" Jazz asked.
"We should investigate this matter. In doing so, we must take absolute care, because the Decepticons could be luring us into a trap," Optimus said. "Ratchet, prepare sick bay in case we return with Autobot refugees."
"Of course," Ratchet said.
"Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, Bulkhead, Huffer, Hound, you are with me," Optimus said. He turned to Perceptor. "Perceptor, prepare the Ground Bridge."
"At once," Perceptor said, activating the Ground Bridge.
"Autobots, transform and roll out!" Optimus said as he, Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, Hound, Huffer, and Bulkhead transformed. They drive through the Ground Bridge to the coordinates. Their location is at Grampa Canyon, where Sora and his friends once visited when digging up Pokémon fossils. They transformed back to robot mode, armed.
"No Decepticons around, Optimus," Sideswipe said.
"Don't let your guard down, Sideswipe. They could sprint at us at any moment," Sunstreaker said.
"Over there!" Huffer said, pointing to the fallen craft. The Autobots approached the craft. Bulkhead wiped off the dirt to reveal the Autobot insignia on it.
"Whew. It's one of ours after all," Bulkhead said.
"How many life signals are there?" Optimus asked. Huffer checked the scanner, given to him by Ratchet. Five signals are reading.
"We got five," Huffer said.
"Better than nothing," Hound said.
"They must have knocked into stasis when they first got here, same as us," Bulkhead said.
"Perceptor, we have found the craft is one of our own. Prepare the Ground Bridge," Optimus said. Sideswipe and Bulkhead went inside and carried one of the unconscious Autobots through the Ground Bridge as soon it opened. Sunstreaker and Hound carried another one out. Optimus carried the biggest one out. All five bots were brought out. They were brought to sick bay as Ratchet was attending to them.
"Any ideas who they are?" Sora asked.
"Hard to tell," Seaspray said.
"I don't think I've seen those bots before," Brawn said.
"Something about them is oddly familiar," Wheeljack said.
The five Autobots regained consciousness and went berserk.
"Don't get up! You must rest!" Ratchet said. The five Autobots transformed into five dinosaurs, one being a tyrannosaurus rex, one being a triceratops, one being a brontosaurus, one being a stegosaurus, and one being a pteranodon.
"What on Cybertron?!" Prowl exclaimed.
"Dinobots?! Of all of the bots we came across, it had to be Dinobots?!" Wheeljack exclaimed.
"What's a Dinobot?" Karen asked.
"Later!" Cliffjumper said.
"Ironhide, keep the humans and the others at a distance! The rest of you, subdue the Dinobots!" Optimus ordered. Trailbreaker and Warpath jumped on the tyrannosaurus, but knocked them off. The triceratops charged right at Blurr, but he jumped out of the way.
"Nice dino, good dino," Blurr said as the triceratops came charging back at him. "Not so nice dino! Stop chasing Blurr!" The stegosaurus swung its tail at Red Alert, sending him back.
"Red Alert!" Inferno exclaimed. He grabbed the stegosaurus by the neck. "Get away from him!" The brontosaurus stomped on the ground as Hauler rammed into him as the pteranodon flew in the air. Powerglide did the same thing, shooting it down. The tyrannosaurus roared as he charged at Optimus.
"We are not your enemies!" Optimus tried to reason. The tyrannosaurus roared as the other Dinobots went to the tyrannosaurus. They were all combining all together. The tyrannosaurus became the torso as the brontosaurus became the right leg and the stegosaurus became the left leg. The pteranodon became the right arm as the triceratops became the left arm.
"Volcanicus!" The giant robot shouted.
"You didn't tell us you can do that!" Sora said.
"Known of us can do that," Ironhide said.
"Take him down!" Optimus ordered. The Autobots complied as Volcanicus batted the Autobots, but he has easily overpowered them all.
"I gotta take that thing down before it sets its attention on us!" Agumon said.
"What can you do?" Ironhide asked.
"This!" Agumon answered as he started to Digivolve. "Agumon Warp Digivolve to... MetalGreymon!"
"I forgot you can do that," Ironhide said.
"MetalGreymon?" Twilight asked in surprise. MetalGreymon charged right at Volcanicus. The large robot turned and intercepted the large Digimon.
"Calm down, big guy! They were trying to help you!" MetalGreymon said.
"Volcanicus needs no help from anyone! And don't tell Volcanicus what to do!" Volcanicus shouted, punching him in the chest. MetalGreymon is sent back as Volcanicus charged at him again.
"MetalGreymon, we can help!" Gabumon said.
"Stay back, all of you! This is my fight!" MetalGreymon said. He holds out his cyborg arm. "Powerful Flame!" Volcanicus is covered with flames. MetalGreymon rammed into Volcanicus, separating him into the five Dinobots. MetalGreymon reverted back to Agumon.
"Way to go, Agumon!" Spike said.
"That was awesome!" Rainbow Dash said.
"Yona think so, too!" Yona added.
All of the Autobots got back up as the fighting has ended.
"Optimus, are you alright?" Sora asked.
"I am," Optimus answered.
A little while later, all of the Autobots were being repaired for the damage they had sustained during the fight with Volcanicus.
"What was that all about?" Ventus asked.
"And you didn't answer our question about what Dinobots are," Sora said.
"No, we haven't," Optimus agreed. "Dinobots are Cybertronian lifeforms, same as us. Unlike us, they are primitive, and aggressive by nature."
"We already got the aggressive part," Meowth said.
"Another thing is it that they can combine like they just did?" Karen asked.
"What was that about?" Starlight asked.
"What you just witnessed is known as combining. There are Autobots and Decepticons who share that ability, transforming them into a much larger Cybertronian, like the one you saw," Optimus explained. "Volcanicus is one of those Combiners."
"Any idea why they went berserk like that?" Terra asked.
"Maybe they're just plain aggressive like Optimus said," Rarity said. "And they seem so uncouth and barbaric."
"Or maybe they didn't know where they were and just attacked because they thought we were out to get them," Sora said.
"A likely outcome, Sora," Optimus said.
"Didn't they crash on Earth, the same as you and the other bots?" Ventus asked.
"No, Ventus. It is likely that their craft crashed landed on Earth long before ours," Optimus said.
Meanwhile at a farm, a family of farmers were doing a harvest, gathering the corn.
"Lookie here, pa! We got ourselves a fine crop this year," the boy said.
"We sure do, son. And we gonna sell them to all the stores so folks all over can enjoy the corn," the farmer said.
A couple of Tauros are plowing through the cornfield as a mechanical inscect peaked its way through the field. The insect had a Decepticon insignia on it.
Several mechanical insects erupted from the cornfield, scaring the Tauros. The farmer's son saw the Tauros run the other way.
"Pa! Something spooked the Tauros!" The boy said.
"What?" The farmer asked. Several of the robot insects came flying out of the cornfield. "Run for your lives! Monsters in the field!" The grabbed his son and started running. The whole family started to run as the robot insects devoured the corn.
Over to Kairi's house, Mirei was trying to feed Seth a spoonful of his baby food.
"Open up for mommy," Mirei said.
"Bleh!" Seth said.
"You gotta eat it. It's good for you," Mirei said. He knocked the baby food out, striking Meowth who was just getting a soda.
"Oh great," Meowth said.
"Sorry, Meowth. I'm trying to get Seth to eat his food, and he's just refusing," Mirei said.
"What do ya got here?" Meowth asked, looking at the baby food. "Strained carrots. Classic start." He took another spoon and he decided to give it a try. "Okay, Sethy-boy. Here comes the choo-choo." He makes some train noises. "Whoo-whoo! Open up the tunnel."
"I already tried that. It didn't work," Mirei said.
"Okay, how about this?" Meowth asked, holding it. "Look, I like it." He placed the spoon in his mouth, and he blanched at the taste. Seth laughed at the face Meowth was making. "Bleh! I mean, yummy. See? It's yummy." Meowth took another spoonful and fed it to Seth. He clapped his hands, finding the taste to his liking.
In the living room, a news broadcast is going on as soon as Kairi turned on the TV.
"We interrupt our regularly scheduled program for a breaking news coverage. Here's your host, Stephen Reid," a voice said. The anchor man appears on TV.
"Hello, I'm Stephen Reid. A few short moments ago, a farmer and his family were attacked by giant monsters," Stephen said.
"Giant monsters?" Kairi asked.
"Vee?" Angel also asked as Yuta came in and sat down.
"We switch to Scarlett O'Hara who is live on the scene," Stephen said. The screen switches to Scarlett.
"Thanks, Stephen. Moments ago, this family of farmers were attacked by monsters. They described the attacking creatures as giant mechanical insects," Scarlett said.
"Giant mechanical insects? What farmers wouldn't do to get on TV," Yuta scoffed.
"Them bugs came out from out of my cornfield attacked us! They ate my entire field!" The farmer exclaimed.
Over to Sora's house, Sora and Karen were watching the news coverage as well.
"You think it's Decepticons, Sora?" Karen asked her brother.
"It's very likely. We should let the bots know about this," Sora said.
Elsewhere, the mechanical insects were devouring organic material. Three among them were calling the shots. One of them looked like a stag beetle, while another one looked like a grasshopper, and the third one looked like a rhinoceros beetle. They all transformed into their robot forms.
"Feed, Insecticons! Feed!" The robot stag beetle said.
Over to Ventus's house, he and his father were watching the coverage on TV.
"Similar attacks are happening in other areas. It seems that these creatures are feeding on organic material!" Scarlett reported.
Aboard the Nemesis, Soundwave has reported that the insect sightings to Megatron.
"Insecticons? On Earth?" Starscream asked.
"It appears that an Insecticon hive has made its way to Earth," Megatron said. "They shall prove useful for our cause."
"Lord Megatron, with all due respect. Insecticons are nothing but primitive scavengers. They care only about themselves," Starscream said.
"You forget, Starscream, that any beast can be tamed when given the right motivation," Megatron stated. "Come. We must welcome our newly discovered brothers-in-arms."
Over to Team Shadow HQ, Mateus sat in his desk as a transmission was sent through. He answered it.
"What is it?" Mateus asked.
"Master Mateus, we have received word that someone has reported seeing robotic insects. I suspect it may be connected to our investigation," Ein reported.
"Look into it, and send me more information once you learn more," Mateus commanded.
"Yes, Master Mateus," Ein said. He breaks contact as Mateus chuckled.
"This has gotten even more interesting," Mateus said.
First Dinobots, and then Insecticons. What other surprise could be in store? Just wait and find out if you wanna see more.
