"Yeah, of course we can go outside in the rain, I'll be okay trust me." Rocket reassured Groot making the treelike youngster unsure.

It was a week later, after Rocket had gotten over that nasty cold which had happened from their playing in the rain so Groot was afraid that it could happen again, which made him cross his arms in worry which made Rocket sigh, knowing his best friend was just lookijg out for him, which he appreciated
"I'll be careful, come on bud." he said running out of the fort on all-fours.
Groot guessed his friend had a point, besides they could dry off and get warm when they came back inside after a while and his friend had been stuck in bed while getting over that cold understanding his rambunctiousness joining him, stomping in puddles, playing in the mud having a great time which was relaxing them after a stressful week which Rocket agreed with but he was wondering what Lylla was doing.

"I'm okay, thinking about Lylla." Rocket replied.
He and Groot after getting clean heard Novacore talking on the listening-bugs and they mentioned Lylla making them wonder, what was going on seeing Lylla in Ravager armour impressing Rocket seeing her scratch officers as she scampered off, giggling making Groot nervous seeing the look on Rocket's furry face.
"I just wanna make sure she's okay, then we'll go back." he told him revving the engine of the bike before the Novacore officers found them, following Lylla to a ship that belonged to her, making questions swirl in his brain making Lylla grin tellijg her friends she wanted to talk to her friend.
"Woah, you're a Ravager that's awesome, what do your parents think." Rocket asked.
She told him how her parents disapproved of him being her soulmate, trying to set her up with somebody else which had been the last straw so she'd ran away and joined the Ravagers naming herself Scruff, making Rocket smirk but Groot worry knowing he was getting tempted.

"If he wants to join me, he can if he wants." she replied.
Groot saw his best friend confused at the both of them being weird over him, sighing the other Ravagers calling her, making Lylla sigh hugging Rocket before getting on the ship as he and Groot hid watching it take off.
Later that afternoon, Groot noticed Rocket was quiet guessing he was thinkijg about Lylla after seeing her being a Ravager, along with taking off in the ship making him understand seeing him yawning, guessing he needed an nap after that excitement seeing Rocket get onto the big bed.
