Rose and Jannah help Rey step outside into the gardens. They hold hands together and smile as they step out into the brilliant sunshine. It really is going to be perfect weather today. Rey practically loses her breath when she sees Ben standing by a large tree. He is facing away from her but her heart beats madly at how wonderful he looks. The sun reflects beautifully off his silky hair. The softest of breezes rustles it and makes Rey smile. She squeezes Jannah and Rose's hands then makes her way towards Ben.
His eyes are closed as he enjoys the sounds of nature around him. A smile crosses his face as he feels Rey approaching him. He turns to greet her and is completely floored. His mouth drops open as he sees the most stunning angel before him. Rey's dress ripples about her gently in the soft breeze as she walks toward him. The brightest of smiles illuminates her face and Ben cannot help but reciprocate the smile. She slides her hands into his and they intertwine their fingers.
"You...you look...incredible," Ben manages to get out.
Rey blushes and squeezes his hands lovingly. She stands up on her tiptoes and kisses his plush lips.
"You look so very handsome," she says with a smile.
Ben steps closer and leans down so his lips brush against her ear. His breath tickles her and makes her body tremble.
"Remember how I said I won't be able to keep my hands off you tonight?" he whispers in her ear.
"Yes…" she whispers in response.
He steps closer and slides one hand around her waist, shuddering with desire as he pulls her gently to him.
"Seeing you now...in this glorious dress...I'm afraid I won't be able to keep my hands off you for the whole day," Ben growls in a husky, lustful down.
"Ohhh Ben...I wouldn't say no to this," she breathes before pulling him into a deep, passionate kiss that practically takes the wind out of him.
They hold each other close and pass one passionate kiss after another, giggling together as their love shines brightly through their bond.
"I can't wait to marry you," Rey breathes.
"Lead the way, my love," Ben whispers with a smile.
He kisses her once more before she pulls him eagerly towards the gazebo. They walk hand in hand until they reach the gazebo together, smiling at each other the whole time. All of their guests feel the love from the couple as they look on. Ben and Rey nod at C-3PO standing on the first step of the gazebo before turning to face each other. Threepio motions for everyone to take their seats.
"Welcome friends and loved ones. We are here to celebrate the union of Mistress Rey and Master Ben," Threepio begins.
Ben and Rey gaze deeply into each other's eyes, smiling as if they are the only two people in the entire galaxy.
"We are so pleased we can all be here together to celebrate this momentous occasion. Let us begin with the vows. Who is going first?" Threepio asks, looking from the bride to the groom.
Rey's heart races as she looks up at the love of her life. She squeezes his hands and takes a breath.
"All my life I had been waiting for my family, counting the days without them. I remember feeling a presence with me. It was something I couldn't explain but it felt right, good. When I met you for the first time, I felt this same presence and couldn't believe I had found you," she begins.
She maintains eye contact and feels her heart flutter with how he looks at her.
"As we grew closer and discovered more about each other, I felt safe with you. You are the only person who has known what it feels like to be alone. We are two halves of a whole. Since the Battle of Exegol, I have been counting the days I've been able to be with you...the days I'm so thankful to have you in my life," she continues.
Rey turns her head to BB-8 and nods to him. He rolls forward and produces a ring. She smiles, pats him on the head lovingly, and takes the ring. Then she turns back towards Ben and holds his left hand with one of her own.
"I love you with all my heart, Ben. I am so happy to have my family at last. You were worth the wait," she finishes, sliding the ring tenderly onto Ben's finger.
He sighs with delight and love as he looks down at the silver band hugging his large finger. It is absolutely perfect. Ben smiles at Rey and kisses her forehead lovingly. Then he pulls back and takes a deep breath.
"I never felt like anyone would love me or understand me. I lived my life in constant fear and pain. But there was always a light...a light that was unbreakable and full of promise. When I found out the light was you, my life changed forever. I wanted to do everything in my power to be with you and show you how much you mean to me," he begins.
BB-8 rolls over and nudges Ben on his leg gently. Ben chuckles and leans down to take the ring the droid holds out for him. He nods at the little droid before turning back towards Rey, taking her small left hand in his. Ben's thumb rubs over the back of her hand lovingly as he smiles down at the woman of his dreams.
"You brought me back to the light and gave me my life back. I will spend the rest of forever repaying this gift you have given me...showing you how much I love you," he continues.
Ben slides the ring onto her finger, smiling as he gazes at her wedding ring and engagement ring finally together. He looks into Rey's eyes and places a hand on her cheek.
"I love you so much, Rey. You are my everything," he finishes.
Rey sighs and chokes back tears. Her heart soars with his words and she can't help but lean forward to kiss his lips. Ben meets her halfway and they share a passionate kiss together, whispering their love for one another against each other's lips. They pull back to look at one another as they hold hands, huge smiles glowing on their faces.
"Oh, Mistress Rey! Master Ben! Oh, that was...that was...wonderful!" Threepio exclaims emphatically.
Ben and Rey giggle at Threepio's response.
"Eh-hem. Well, I am happy to announce the official union of Master Ben Solo and Mistress Rey Solo. You are now husband and wife!" Threepio says excitedly.
Ben and Rey smile widely at each other.
"Master Ben, you may kiss the - oh!"
Threepio does not finish his thought as he watches Rey jump into Ben's arms and kiss him passionately. Ben chuckles and lifts her into the air, turning her around a few times as everyone cheers. He sets her back down again, kissing her softly as he dips her slightly. Rey kisses him back with everything she is.
"My husband," she breathes against his lips.
"My wife," he breathes back.
