Episode 522: One Shall Stand, One Shall Fall
That night after dealing with Starscream, Sora is sleeping in his bed with Pikachu beside him. As he slept, his dream takes place in space as he sees a large spherical machine floating in space. The sphere then transformed into a large robot. He has large horns on his head and demonic wings.
"Who and what is that thing?" Sora asked.
"At long last, the Matrix of Leadership is no more!" The giant robot declared.
"What's the Matrix of Leadership?" Sora asked. The robot then started to consume Earth. "NO!" Sora woke up in cold sweat. Pikachu woke up as well.
"Pika?" Pikachu asked with concern in his voice.
"It was quite a nightmare," Sora said.
Aboard the Nemesis, Megatron receives the same kind of vision as Sora. Megatron fell on his knees as Thundercracker rushed to his master.
"Lord Megatron! Are you okay?!" Thundercracker asked.
"Unicron," Megatron could only say. Thundercracker was confused.
"Master?" Thundercracker asked.
"It is nothing, Thundercracker," Megatron said. He pushes him aside. He said in his thoughts, "Could Unicron be coming here? For what purpose?"
Over to the Ark, Optimus has the same vision as Sora and Megatron.
"By the Primes," Optimus gasped. "It cannot be."
Meanwhile out in space, a large spaceship is out in space as Ultra Magnus is sitting in his command chair with several Autobot troopers going about their routine.
"How close are we to Earth?" Ultra Magnus asked.
"We are nearly there, sir," a trooper said.
"What of the Decepticons?" Ultra Magnus asked.
"According to the transmissions we have been receiving, they're right on it," another trooper said.
"And if there are Autobots on Earth, then we will assist them anyway we can," Ultra Magnus said.
The Autobot troopers all agreed and set a course for Earth.
Speaking of which, Fox showed his team around the town.
"The scenery is really pretty here," Slippy said.
"I'm thinking of retiring here," Peppy said.
"It's no Corneria, but it's okay," Falco said.
"What makes it even better is that they don't have to deal with Andross's army," Fox said.
"Yeah, those guys are real bad news. I wouldn't want my home being blown up by those apes," Slippy said.
Over to Hunter and Bianca, Cinderace was thrilled to see Bianca again, but she was surprised to see Cinderace all grown up.
"Look at you. You were cute when we met, but now you're just plain handsome," Bianca said.
"Cinderace," Cinderace said. She noticed Lopunny with him.
"She's beautiful, and she's very lucky," Bianca said.
"I thought it would interest you both that those two have been together ever since they first met in Sinnoh. Cinderace was still a Scorbunny while Lopunny was just a Buneary," Meowth said. "He did a lot of growing up since then."
"Sure looks like it," Hunter said. He smiled at the striker Pokémon. "And it looks like the number of Pokémon grew since the last time."
"A lot did happen since then," Bianca said.
Murray was pleased in seeing Ursaring again after so long.
"My old sparring partner Ursaring. I sure missed you, buddy," Murray said. Ursaring made some growling sounds. He looked right at Urshifu. "Is that who I think it is?" Urshifu stood up and bowed his head in respect to the hippo. "Kubfu? Is that you?"
"Actually, Urshifu now," Agumon said. "He gotten really strong since the last time you saw him."
"I can tell. He's been doing some serious training," Murray said.
"So, how did your business do so far?" Sora asked Dingodile.
"Not as well as I hoped at first. It turns out that I attracted quite a crowd from a bunch of mutants that moved in the neighborhood. Since then, business was booming," Dingodile said.
"Anyway, Crash, Coco, how's Tawna?" Sora asked.
"We haven't seen her in a while. We figured she's busy with some bad guys of her own since her N. Tropy is out of commission. Same with us since Cortex was also gone," Coco said.
"I bet," Sora said.
Over to the Ark, Optimus looked at the screens as the news coverage of Optimus and Megatron in Viridian City was spreading like wildfire.
"What do you think, Optimus?" Hot Rod asked.
"It seems our existence is now known by the populists," Optimus said.
"You mean, you're going to make yourself known?" Hot Rod asked.
"With what has recently occurred, our coverage is now irrelevant. I worry that they will fear us," Optimus said.
"Even when we have good intentions?" Hot Rod said.
"Indeed, Hot Rod. But, what Starscream has done has complicated these matters," Optimus said. "The world should know of our intentions."
Later, Optimus Prime and the rest of the Autobots all gathered around as they were about to make their presence known. Nancy was among the crowd of reporters as the Autobots transformed into robot mode.
Worldwide, everyone were amazed by what they saw; Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brenden, May, Lucas, Dawn, Hilbert, Hilda, Nate, Rosa, Elio, Selene, the Alolan nine, Tai, Takato, Takuya, Yugi, Jaden, their friends, the regional Gym Leaders, Elite Four, and the other rivals Sora and Kairi made, including Drew, Zoey, Kenny, Hector, and many others were shocked. Sora, Kairi, Karen, Riku, Naminé, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, their friends and families were watching on TV as the Autobots were about to announce to the world. Mateus, the Brotherhood of Darkness, and the other villains were also watching on TV.
"Hope you know what you're doing, Optimus," Sora said in his thoughts.
"People of Earth, my name is Optimus Prime. I am the leader of the Autobots. We are autonomous robotic organisms from the planet Cybertron. Cybertron was once full of life and prosperity as your world is. However, it is now a lifeless world, ravaged by the tyranny of the Decepticons, our mortal enemies, in a war that has raged on for many centuries. Rest assured you have nothing to fear from us. We came searching for our life source, known as the AllSpark. We sent it here ten thousand years ago in order to protect it from the Decepticons, so they will not use it for their evil ways. Their lord and master, Megatron was present in what you call Viridian City. Another Decepticon known as Starscream acted on his own accord, and Megatron and I were merely attempting to stop him. The Decepticons will not cease their attacks on your world, but we can assure we will not allow your world to suffer the fate as Cybertron. I will understand you do not trust us out of fear, but we only want you to know of our intent," Optimus said.
Many of the people were taking it all in. Many of them were skeptical about trusting them at first, but they knew the Autobots would have turned their weapons on them if they wanted to.
"This is quite a twist," King K. Rool said.
"Perhaps. Many of the people would find them to be untrustworthy even with their good intentions. One way or the other, the scales shall be in our favor," Mateus said.
Aboard the Nemesis a week later, Shockwave has given the finishing touches on the weapons he was working on.
"Excellent work, Shockwave. Your efforts will not go unrewarded," Megatron said.
"I thank you, Lord Megatron," Shockwave said.
"And I know how to do so. We take the fight to the Autobots," Megatron said.
"Lord Megatron," Scrapper said through the communications
"Yes, Scrapper," Megatron said. "Report."
"Lord Megatron, we have finished our new fortress. It is ready for your inspection," Scrapper said.
"Excellent, Scrapper. We shall be there momentarily," Megatron said.
The Nemesis has set a course for the newly built fortress. Over to Starscream, he was scrounging for some Energon like a scavenger that he was now reduced to.
"This is what I don't need. Scavenging for some Energon, that is barely enough to even power up a battery. As soon as I take my place back to the Nemesis, I'll deal with Megatron and take the Decepticons for my own," Starscream said. His radar goes off. "What's this? The Nemesis is making its move." He checked the supply on his red Energon. "It's almost not enough, but it is better than nothing. At least my tracking systems is still operational. Time to maintain my revenge." Starscream transformed into robot mode as he flew off.
Over to the newly built fortress, Drift has been watching them and he makes contact.
"Optimus, the Decepticons have completed their fortress. I am sending the coordinates," Starscream said.
Optimus intercepts the transmission.
"Understood, Drift. We will join you," Optimus said.
"Let's do this thing," Jazz said.
"Yes," Elita One agreed.
The Autobots readied their weapons as Perceptor readied the Ground Bridge.
"Everyone ready to rock?" Blaster asked.
"We're locked and loaded," Ironhide said.
Over to the mansion, Alia, Iris, Layer, and Pallete caught wind of the Autobots' transmission.
"Everyone, the Decepticons are making their move," Alia said.
"Now, we're talking," Zero said. He grabbed his saber. Lan merged with MegaMan.Exe again as Geo merged with Omega-Xis as well. Everyone got ready to go.
"Okay, we're ready to go," Sora said.
With that said, everyone was ready to fight the Decepticons along with the Autobots. Alia opened her own Ground Bridge allowing the heroes to enter through. Over to the newly built tower, the Nemesis has arrived as the Ground Bridges opened up. The Autobots all opened fire on the Decepticons. All of the Digimon started to Digivolve.

"Hawkmon Warp Digivolve to... ShineAquilamon!"
"Armadillomon Warp Digivolve to... TankAnkylomon!"
"We're under attack!" Scavenger exclaimed.
"The Autobots!" Megatron said.
"And more," Soundwave said, pointing to the heroes.
"Destroy them all," Megatron ordered.
The Decepticons all launched their attack on their enemies as several other Pokémon all appeared and helped fight the Decepticons. Thundercracker, Skywarp, Sunstorm, Slipstream, Ramjet, Thrust, Dirge, Acid Storm, Ion Storm, Nova Storm, Hotlink, Bitstream, Nacelle, Blackout, Sandstorm, Red Wing all fired at the Autobot troopers, killing some of them. Ironhide, Gears, Huffer, Bluestreak, Mirage, Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, Hound, and several others fired at the Vehicons, killing them.
"Aurobots! Continue the assault! I will deal with Megatron," Optimus said.
"We'll keep the Cons busy for as long as we can! Do what you have to!" Jazz said.
The heroes and the Autobots fired at the Decepticons.
"Lord Megatron, Optimus Prime is making his through the fortress!" Lugnut reported.
"Then I shall indulge him," Megatron said. He made contact with the other Decepticons. "Attention, Decepticons! I was challenged into a fight by Optimus Prime. Know that if any one of you so much as lay a finger on him, they will pay the consequences with their Sparks." Optimus shoots at one Vehicon and spoke through his communicator.
"Megatron, I have come for you. The time to finish this war has arrived," Optimus said.
"Indeed it has, Optimus. Come into the command center, and I shall face you personally," Megateon said. Optimus accepted the challenge and he went through the Vehicons, allowing the leader of the Autobots to press on. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel followed Optimus to the fight about to begin.
Over to the battle, Zero slashed a head off of one Vehicon as did Colonel. The Constructicons transformed into their vehicle mode and drove.
"Constructicons! Merge!" Scrapper ordered. The Constructicons all combined into a new robot. Hook became the upper body as Long Haul became the lower body. Scrapper became the right leg, and Mixmaster became the left leg. Bonecrusher became the left arm, and Scavenger became the right leg. "Meet your doom, by the hands of Devastator!"
"Me, Grimlock no think so!" Grimlock said. "Dinobots! Merge!" The Dinobots combined into Volcanicus to fight Devastator. The Stunticons, the Combaticons, and the Predacons combined as did the Aerialbots and the Protectobots. Devastator, Menasor, Bruticus, and Predaking went after the three Autobot combiners as Mega Man rode on Rush and opened fire on the Decepticon combiners.
"You need to stop now!" Mega Man said.
"Shut up!" Devastator said as MetalGreymon came rushing in.
"Giga Blaster!" MetalGreymon shouted, firing his missles. They struck the combiners. Mega Man looked at the cyborg dinosaur Digimon as he gave a thumbs up with his organic arm.
"Thanks for the save," Mega Man said.
"Don't thank me yet, Mega Man. We have to stop the Cons here and now," MetalGreymon said.
"He's right," Proto Man said. "They be machines, but they are living beings, and they will not listen to reason. They are not like you and me."
E-123 Omega analyzed the Decepticons and targeted them all.
"Target: Decepticons. Threat level: Maximum. Objective: Terminate!" E-123 Omega computed. He activated his machine guns and other weapons as he fired his weapons at the Decepticons, blasting them into piles of spare parts.
Inside, Optimus continued on as the Vehicons were just standing still. He eventually found Megatron waiting for him at the command center.
"Welcome, Optimus," Megatron greeted. "I have been expecting you."
"It has come down to this, Megatron. Centuries of war and conflict has raged on, and we bring it with us on this planet. It is an unforgivable thing on both of our accounts. How many innocence must suffer in this conflict? How many worlds have we condemned in the ten thousand stellar cycles we have been in stasis?" Optimus asked. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel arrived just when Optimus was talking.
"Optimus, or shall I say, Orion Pax, you and I knew each other for so long. Before we met, you were a mere librarian as I was a gladiator in the Pits of Kaon. You remember that I left the arena in order to make Cybertron much stronger than it already was. I was in line in becoming the next Prime, but the Council rejected my proposal and named you the next candidate for the Matrix of Leadership," Megatron said. Sora knew he heard that before.
"It was there that the council has seen your true colors, Megatron. You formed the Decepticons by poisoning the minds of many of the citizens in an attempt to overthrow the High Council, and take the Matrix for yourself. Alpha Trion would be ashamed of us both if he were alive today," Optimus said.
"Alpha Trion was a weak old fool. He and the council were too weak-minded to see the vision I have for Cybertron," Megatron said.
"The vision you have would be a dictatorship. You would only oppress the innocent, considering them to be weak," Optimus said.
"The weak needs to be led by the strong. It is the strength of those in my empire that will lead Cybertron in a new age," Megatron said.
"You would only be condemning Cybertron and its people in an age of fear. The High Council did what they had to do in order to prevent you from being drunk on power, but alas, it was too late," Optimus said.
"Perhaps. I may not have become a Prime, but once I find the AllSpark, I shall use its power to restore Cybertron, and recreate it in my image. The shall be the same for this planet," Megatron said.
"What logic comes from ruling two worlds?" Optimus asked.
"This planet shares a likeness to Cybertron, which explains why the AllSpark came all this way. To rule only one world is to rule no world," Megatron said.
"I will not allow this, Megatron," Optimus said. "If I do, then Earth will suffer the same fate as Cybertron, as many more will beyond it. For the good of all, you must be stopped. Your darkness shall never cover this or any planet. As your friendship to me meant everything to me, and I am grateful, but you stopped being my friend when you murdered Alpha Trion." Optimus drew out a sword to combat Megatron. "We shall finish our conversation with our blades, and only then, we shall see which one of us is truly righteous in the eyes of history. One shall stand, one shall fall."
Megatron said nothing as he drew his sword and readied himself. Both leaders stood their ground until both made their move. Optimus and Megatron ran towards each other and clashed with their blades.
"Optimus, get him!" Sora called out.
The fight continued between Optimus and Megatron as they clashed.
The fight outside continued on as well. Samus zapped some of them as Earthworm Jim runs through the crowd.
"EAT DIRT, DECEPTICREEPS!" Earthworm Jim shouted as he fired at the Decepticons, killing some of them. Bolo swings his mace at one, crushing his head. Shantae transformed into an elephant and stomped on a couple of them.
Starscream arrived in the midst of the battle and he chuckled evilly.
"A battle. The perfect distraction to get to Megatron and snuff out his accursed Spark with my own hands. And then I, Starscream, shall be leader of the Decepticons!" Starscream said. He injected the red Energon into his veins and uses it to walk casually by them. He chuckled to himself. "As much as I would like to gut you all, but I have some business to attend to first." He went inside and he dashed by the Vehicons. "Don't mind me, just passing by." He chuckled again. He finally made his way to Optimus and Megatron, not noticing Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel at all. "Not only Megatron, but Optimus, too! What a happy coincidence for me! Now to open fire!" He fired a missle at the two leaders, but he missed them both. To keep himself being seen before he wanted them to, he kept on moving. "Drat, I missed. Better try again." He finally saw Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel. "It's those vile humans and their pets. I was so close in squeezing the life out of them." Starscream dashed right at the couple.
"Starscream!" Kairi gasped. Pikachu and Angel fired Thunderbolt and Swift at the Decepticon, catching the attention of Optimus and Megatron.
"Starscream, you come to turn yourself in? I will make your death an honorable one if you just hold still," Megatron said.
"Afraid that it is not that simple, my former master. Now that I have you, Prime, and the inhabitants of Earth in my sights, I will finally exact my revenge on all of you at once. And if those speedsters survived, I'll set my sights on them," Starscream said. He rushes towards Megatron with his enhanced speed, but it wore off so soon. "No, it cannot ware off! It's too soon!" Megatron smacked him to the side. "No matter, I still have enough to finish you off." He took out what was left of the red Energon, only to have Megatron blast it out of his hands.
"Not this time, Starscream," Megatron said. Starscream started to beg for mercy.
"Lord Megatron, please forgive me! I didn't mean any disrespect! I was only kidding about the whole trying to take over as leader of the Decepticons," Starscream pleaded.
"I am not laughing, Starscream. And nor shall you ever again!" Megatron said, blasting at his former second-in-command.
"Lord Megatron, please, have mercy on me!" Starscream pleaded.
"Mercy is for the weak! My one mistake was not executing you sooner, a mistake, I do not intend to make again," Megatron grabbed Starscream and gave him a punch in the chest. He gave then gave off a series of blasts. Starscream screamed in pain as Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel watched Megatron mercilessly fire at Starscream. He was still barley alive as Energon leaked from his wounds.
"Don't... do... this," Starscream said. Megatron said nothing more as he drove his sword into his chest. Megatron pulled out his sword and stomped on his remains.
"There is no forgiveness to those who will defy me, Starscream," Megatron said.
"You killed him," Sora said with a hint of horror in his voice. Sora didn't like Starscream all that much, considering that he is a Decepticon, but he knew he didn't deserve to die the way he did.
"Starscream was merely a traitor. He was plotting against me, and he deserved such a fate for his disloyalty," Megatron said.
"He didn't deserve it," Sora said. "He was an egotistical jerk, but he didn't deserve to die like this."
"Sora," Kairi could only say.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel added.
"Anyone who defies my will deserves only death; be they Decepticon or Autobot!" Megatron said.
"And that is a mere example of your oppression, Megatron. You oppress not only the Autobots, but you oppress even Decepticons," Optimus said.
"What you call oppression is what I call strength! Cybertron and Earth needs only strength! The strong is to rule over the weak!" Megatron said.
"That is an awful thing to say," Kairi said.
Back outside, the fight continued on as shots are being fired upon.
"Where are those shots coming from?" Hound asked. The Autobots and the inter dimensional heroes looked around.
"Look!" Arcee said as the large spaceship comes flying in.
"Shoot around the survivors, and create a perimeter," Ultra Magnus ordered.
"Yes sir!" An Autobot trooper said.
The spaceship fired at the Decepticons, hitting many of them, killing them. Ion Storm, Nova Storm, Hotlink, Bitstream, Nacelle, Blackout, Sandstorm, and Red Wing were among the casualties. The spaceship hovers above them and Autobot troopers comes out, shooting.
"More of them have come to our aid!" Marth said.
"As long as they're on our side, who's complaining?" Black Bomber said.
And that was when Ultra Magnus came rolling in as a Cybertronian truck. He ran over some Decepticons before he transformed into robot mode. All of the Autobots were awestruck and dumbfounded by what they were seeing.
"By the AllSpark! Ultra Magnus?!" Jazz exclaimed in shock. "I thought you were dead!"
"Who's he?" Riku asked.
"Ultra Magnus was Optimus Prime's second-in-command until he was presumably dead," Ironhide said.
"I came here searching for Autobot survivors, and I also found that this planet is infected by Decepticons!" Ultra Magnus said.
"Optimus is inside the fortress, fighting Megatron as we speak!" Elita One said.
"Understood," Ultra Magnus said.
Thundercracker was shocked to see Ultra Magnus is alive.
"By the AllSpark! Ultra Magnus is alive!" Thundercracker said. He made contact with Megatron. "Lord Megatron, this is urgent!"
"Do not disturb me now!" Megatron said through the com.
"But, master! An Autobot ship has arrived as reinforcements for the Autobots, and what's more, Ultra Magnus is leading the attack!" Thundercracker said.
"Drive them back! Leave no Autobot alive!" Megatron ordered.
"Yes, my lord," Thundercracker said. He fired at the Autobot troopers as Ultra Magnus fired at several more.
"Autobots! Engage the Decepticons, I will enter the fortress!" Ultra Magnus ordered.
"He knows we're here, too, right?" Axl asked.
"Keep going at it!" Zero said.
As the battle raged on, Ultra Magnus fought his way, shooting every Decepticon that he came across. He transformed into vehicle mode and rammed into several Vehicons. He grabbed one just when he was dying.
"Where is Megatron?" Ultra Magnus asked. The dying Vehicon pointed down the path. Ultra Magnus followed the path down until he found Optimus and Megatron fighting each other. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel noticed him coming in.
"Who are you?" Kairi asked.
"I am Ultra Magnus," Ultra Magnus said. He aimed his weapon at Megatron and fired at him. The blast struck Megatron in the shoulder. Optimus was stunned to see him.
"Ultra Magnus, you still live?" Optimus asked in shock.
"Sir, I am glad that the rumors of your demise is greatly exaggerated. It is an honor to fight by your side again," Ultra Magnus said.
"It is a joy to see you are alive again, old friend," Optimus said.
"Such a happy reunion. But, it is about to be cut short, I'm afraid," Megatron said, firing his cannon at the two Autobots. Optimus is struck, but Ultra Magnus fired back, hitting him again. Ultra Magnus then fired all around, causing huge debris to fall right on him.
"Sir, we must take our leave," Ultra Magnus suggested.
"I agree," Optimus said, transforming into vehicle mode. "Sora, Kairi, get in!" Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel complied as the Autobots drove out. Megatron struggled to get loose. Once they reached outside, Optimus honked his horn. "Autobots! Retreat!" The Autobots all transformed and the Autobot combiners transformed as well. The inter dimensional heroes got in while they were in vehicle mode as well.
"In my ship!" Ultra Magnus said. All of the Autobots drove inside of the spaceship. Sora, Kairi, and their friends all got out, allowing the Autobots to transform back to robot mode.
"Now what?" Riku asked.
"We blow it up, that's what!" Brawn said.
"I agree," Ultra Magnus said. "Now!" The spaceship then transformed into a giant Autobot.
"What the heck is going on?!" Shantae exclaimed.
"The ship is transforming?" Ratchet Lombax asked.
"The ship is an Autobot?" Sora asked in shock.
"Indeed," Ultra Magnus answered.
The giant Autobot completed the transformation and stomped forward.
"I am Omega Supreme!" The giant Autobot proclaimed.
"That is the best name ever!" Pinkie Pie shouted.
"Poyo!" Kirby added.
"Omega Supreme, destroy this fortress and every Decepticon all around; inside or out!" Ultra Magnus ordered.
"Complying," Omega Supreme said. He activates his lasers and missles, firing at the Decepticons and the fortress. Many of the Vehicons were getting blasted. Omega Supreme kept on firing until the fortress was now a pile of rubble.
"You think Megatron bought the big one?" Bumblebee asked.
"I highly doubt it, Bumblebee. Remember that we have a history worth of battles to prove Megatron's Spark isn't easily extinguished," Optimus said.
"All's well that ends well, right?" Dingodile asked.
"Yes and no. For now, let's head back home," Sora said.
Omega Supreme makes a landing in Pallet Town.
"Just how did you survive? Your remains were never recovered," Elita One said.
"I shall begin. After Lugnut has launched a missle at me, I have been blown to another location. I was left for scrap. Knowing the Decepticons would finish me off, I went into hiding, and there I stayed until I was completely healed. Since then, I have gathered a battalion of Autobots and led them throughout Cybertron, escaping Megatron's notice. We saw your ship leave Cybertron, and we stayed behind to defend it for five hundred and fifty stellar cycles. Once the last of the Decepticons had been eliminated, my forces and I came across Omega Supreme, an Autobot that has been buried deep beneath Cybertron for so long. Once we had completely repaired him, we traveled the cosmos, searching for any Autobot survivors. I reunited with some, but they fell by the hands of the Decepticons. Our numbers kept growing as we fought the Decepticons further on. We heard that you and your crew had perished, so I had to assume the worst, and continue fighting on. It was until we came here to this planet that we followed a Decepticon trail," Ultra Magnus explained.
"That would be the Nemesis," Inferno said.
"That is affirmative," Ultra Magnus said. "And unexpectedly, all of you."
"It is good to see you are well, old friend. Will you join us in search for the AllSpark?" Optimus asked.
"I wouldn't have it any other way, sir," Ultra Magnus said.
"Then that means, I'll be stepping down as second-in-command, and handing it back to you, Ultra Magnus, sir," Jazz said.
"I accept," Ultra Magnus said.
And with that said, Ultra Magnus was back with Optimus Prime once again.
Over to the ruins of the tower, Megatron emerged from the ruins as the surviving Decepticons emerged as well. Thundercracker, Skywarp, Sunstorm Slipstream, Acid Storm, Ramjet, Thrust, Dirge, Soundwave, the Decepticon Mini-Cons, Shockwave, Lugnut, Blitzwing, Astrotrain, the Insecticons, the Constructicons, the Stunticons, the Combaticons, and the Predacons all survived the blast. Thundercracker approached Megatron.
"Report, Thundercracker," Megatron said.
"We have lost most of our forces in the battle. Ion Storm, Nova Storm, Hotlink, Bitstream, Nacelle, Blackout, Sandstorm, and Red Wing are counted among the casualties we suffered, Lord Megatron," Thundercracker reported.
"Primus rest their Sparks," Megatron said. "They were fine soldiers. We shall avenge them along with the rest of our fallen brethren. The Autobots and their allies will pay for this. By the AllSpark, we will have our revenge!" Aboard their ship, Knockout detected something.
"Lord Megatron, I'm picking up a strange reading," Knockout said.
"Autobots?" Megatron asked.
"Negative, my liege. It doesn't appear to be any Autobot, nor does it appear to of Decepticon origin. It is something entirely different," Knockout reported. Megatron knew there was one thing in the universe that could give off such a strong signal.
"Unicron is approaching," Megatron said.
"Unicron? Unicron is just a legend," Thundercracker said.
"Unicron is more than just a legend, Thundercracker," Megatron said. "Unicron is very real."
"Why would Unicron come here of all planets?" Thundercracker asked.
"Unicron is seeking to destroy the two things that were created by Primus: the AllSpark and the Matrix of Leadership," Megatron said.
"The Matrix of Leadership?" Thundercracker asked.
"Yes. The Matrix of Leadership has the combined Sparks of all of the thirteen Primes. And the AllSpark itself is the very Spark of Primus himself," Megatron said.
"The Spark of Primus?" Thundercracker asked.
"Indeed. And the second reason for Unicron's arrival is because Earth has a connection to Cybertron as Alpha Trion theorized," Megatron said. "It seems Alpha Trion's theory was correct," Megatron said.
Back in Pallet Town in the mansion, Omega-Xis looked up in the sky. Geo looked as well.
"Omega-Xis, what's up?" Geo asked.
"Something is coming," Omega-Xis said.
"What's coming?" Geo asked.
"I don't know. It is something I am not familiar with. And it is unspeakably evil," Omega-Xis said.
Inside, news coverage of the Decepticon's destroyed fortress is on display. It shows Starscream's lifeless body being taken as well.
"We made quite an impression," Chunky Kong said.
"We sure did. No signs of Megatron or any of his other top lieutenants in the mix," Vector said.
"Megatron might have been down, but he isn't out," Sora said. "It won't be long until he strikes back." He then sensed something. "What is that?"
"What's what?" Charmy asked.
"I just felt something," Sora said. He then has a vision of Unicron approaching. He shudders at the image of Unicron. "Oh man." Kairi knew something was up.
"Sora?" Kairi asked.
"We gotta talk to Optimus," Sora said.
Sora, Kairi, Karen, Riku, Naminé, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, Meowth, Blossom, and Azurill all head for the Ark to speak with Optimus. Sonic runs ahead of them.
Speaking of which, Ultra Magnus has acquired an Earth-based vehicle mode which is another truck. Optimus was looking at the screen as he sees Starscream's husk being dragged. He then retrieves a vision. He fell on his knees.
"What is these images I am seeing? What could they mean?" Optimus asked. An elderly Autobot appeared behind him.
"It should be obvious, Orion Pax," the elderly Autobot said. Optimus turned and he instantly recognized him.
"Alpha Trion? You're alive?" Optimus asked.
"No, I am not. I speak to you from the AllSpark to warn you of the impending danger coming to Earth. The destroyer is coming," Alpha Trion said.
"Unicron," Optimus said. "It was long thought that he was merely a legend, but it seems unlikely now," Optimus said.
"You know why Unicron is coming, do you?" Alpha Trion asked.
"To destroy the AllSpark and the Matrix of Leadership. They were created by Primus," Optimus said.
"Yes. And Earth will be destroyed as well. Earth has been connected with Cybertron since the dawn of history. A being of great importance created this universe as Primus helped create Cybertron. You must prevent Earth and Cybertron's destruction from happening. You know if the AllSpark is destroyed then all hope for reviving Cybertron will be forever lost," Alpha Trion said.
"How will I be able to stop Unicron? Legend says that he cannot be destroyed. Even the thriteen Primes could not destroy him," Optimus said.
"You can. In order for you to destroy Unicron, you must unleash the power of the Primes from the Matrix of Leadership into Unicron's very Spark; the Dark Spark," Alpha Trion said.
"The Matrix of Leadership can destroy Unicron?" Optimus asked.
"Indeed, Optimus. Time is of the essence, and you must act," Alpha Trion said.
"I will. And thank you, my old teacher," Optimus said.
"Optimus?" Hot Rod asked. The Autobot leader turned to Hot Rod. "Is something going on? Why are you just standing there talking to yourself?" Optimus was surprised to hear Hot Rod ask him as he looked and sees Alpha Trion gone.
"Alpha Trion, where are you?" Optimus asked.
"Alpha Trion isn't here. He never was here. He's dead," Hot Rod said.
"Hot Rod, he was speaking to me through the AllSpark," Optimus said.
"You mean from where it is?" Hot Rod asked.
"No. Unicron is coming to Earth," Optimus said.
"Unicron? As in Unicron, the Destroyer? He wouldn't bother with a planet like this one," Hot Rod said. Optimus was about to speak when Blaster came in the scene.
"Optimus! There's something I think you should see!" Blaster informed. With that said, they joined the other Autobots and sees the structure coming towards Earth.
"Is that what it looks like?" Ratchet asked.
"It is," Optimus said. "It's Unicron."
"Unicron is real?!" Jetfire exclaimed in shock.
"Yes. And he is coming to destroy the Matrix of Leadership and the AllSpark. It is important that we find the AllSpark before he does," Optimus said.
"Judging how Unicron is coming, we won't have time," Prowl said.
"Prowl's right. Unicron's mind is all about destruction," Jazz said. Just then, Sora, Kairi, Karen, Riku, Naminé, Pikachu, Eevee, Angel, Meowth, Blossom, and Azurill with Sonic coming in first. Sora froze when he saw Unicron on the screen.
"Oh no," Sora said in disbelief.
"Sora, what's wrong?" Riku asked.
"That thing was in my dream!" Sora said in shock. "Optimus, what is that thing?" Optimus turned to Sora as he knew the day has come.
"That is Unicron, the chaos bringer. The destroyer," Optimus said.
"Unicron?" Kairi asked.
"What do you know about Unicron, Optimus?" Riku asked.
"Unicron and his ancient rival Primus dates back before life began on Cybertron. Primus was the entity of creation as Unicron is the entity of destruction. For eons, the two have clashed. Primus created the thirteen Primes and together, they defeated Unicron. Afterwards, Primus created the Matrix of Leadership, combing the Sparks of the Primes together," Optimus explained. "Unicron intends to finish what he began by destroying the AllSpark and the Matrix of Leadership."
"What is the Matrix of Leadership exactly?" Sora asked. "Megatron mentioned it before you and he had your fight."
"The Matrix of Leadership is a relic that has been passed down from one Prime to another. My predecessor, Sentinel Prime passed it down to me, and thus I became a Prime just as his predecessor did before him," Optimus said.
"So, that's what Megatron meant by that," Sora said. "Megatron Prime sounds hard to swallow."
"Also, Unicron is coming here to destroy Earth. We can't let that happen," Karen said.
"Is there anyway to stop Unicron once and for all?" Naminé asked.
"There is only one way. To use the Matrix of Leadership right into Unicron's Spark," Optimus said. "The combined powers of the Primes shall be enough to destroy Unicron from within."
"If Unicron is coming here, we're really screwed!" Meowth said. "If that Matrix of Leadership is just as important, we don't have exactly time to go on a scavenger hunt!" Meowth said.
"There is no need for that, Meowth," Optimus said.
"What do you mean?" Riku asked.
"Vee," Eevee said.
Optimus opened his chest to reveal the Matrix of Leadership in his chest.
"Is that the Matrix?" Sora asked.
"Yes. The Matrix is Primus's creation as the AllSpark is his Spark," Optimus said.
"Even with Sonic's speed, we wouldn't know where to look for the AllSpark," Riku said.
Back at the mansion, Bandana Dee was doing some sunbathing, relaxing after that brawl as dirt struck him.
"Hey!" Bandana Dee yelped. He sees Rush digging. "Mega Man, your dog's digging up the backyard!" Mega Man comes right out.
"Rush, what are you doing? You shouldn't be doing tha-" Mega Man said as he sees Rush pull something out. "What in the world?" It was revealed to be a glowing orb of light contained in a jar of unknown origins. Bandana Dee rushes over.
"Any idea what it is?" Bandana Dee asked.
"No," Mega Man said. "We better let the others know about this."
Back at the Ark, Sonic had an idea of his own.
"Hey, I could just go Super Sonic and keep that evil bot busy," Sonic proposed. Everyone all looked at the blue hedgehog.
"Last time I checked, you're gonna need the Choas Emeralds to make that happen, and you can't exactly find those in any supermarket!" Meowth said.
"I know. I brought them with me," Sonic said. Sora was shocked as everyone else.
"You brought the Chaos Emeralds back here?! What were you thinking?! You remember what they did to Giovanni, don't you?! They can corrupt anyone whose minds are focused on evil! I mean, are you crazy?! Haven't you thought about the bad guys getting their hands on it?! They could absorb the negative energy from those emeralds! Also, what do you think might happen if the Cons learned about them, and about they can do?! They could use them as weapons of mass destruction, causing more deaths on the whole world more than you realize!" Sora exclaimed as he yelled.
"Don't get your spiky-hair in a twist, Sora. I kept them in case of an emergency, and this counts as an emergency," Sonic said, calming Sora down.
"What's a Chaos Emerald?" Karen asked.
"The Chaos Emeralds are mystical gems from Mobius. They have two different energies from them. Positive and Negative. As Sora just said, if someone has evil thoughts, they absorb the Negative energy. The emeralds eventually corrupts them completely. They even grant them destructive powers. I know about that, because I have seen that before," Kairi explained, recalling Sora's battle with Giovanni.
"And what about the Positive energy?" Karen asked.
"I can answer that, Kairi," Sonic said, stepping in. "If someone is a good guy and has good, clean, and pure thoughts, then they absorb the Positive energy. The positive emotions provides the user powers to even bring back the dead, or go in a super state, just like me."
"Wow," Karen said, awestruck.
"Pika," Blossom was also awestruck.
"I do have to agree with Sora, Sonic. Bringing those here was too risky," Riku said. "Especially now."
"Better late than never," Sonic said.
"And now that Unicron is coming this way, both Cybertron and Earth hangs in the balance. We are facing a threat that is far greater than the Decepticons, Team Shadow, and the Brotherhood of Darkness combined. Unicron must be destroyed," Optimus said.
Now that Unicron is coming, what will happen to Optimus even after he uses the Matrix of Leadership to destroy Unicron? And how will the Decepticons react to this as well? Will Unicron succeed in finishing off his hated enemy once and for all, or will the AllSpark be brought back to Cybertron and save both worlds? Just you wait and find out.
