"Wendy's a Dragon Slayer, too?!" Haru questioned in disbelief as she kept riding through the forest on Blue Fang's back.

"That's right," Carla answered. "She is the Sky Dragon Slayer, able to manipulate the wind and air. She's also a very capable healer."

"That's amazing!" Haru exclaimed. "So she's just like Natsu and Gajeel, then!"

"Aye! Who knew?" Happy added as he flew behind them.

"So... how did Wendy learn Dragon Slayer Magic?" asked Haru.

"Apparently, she was taught the magic by the Sky Dragon, Grandeene," said Carla. "From what I heard from Wendy, she was a very kind and loving dragon... but then one day, she disappeared without a trace. Wendy's been trying to find her since."

"Grandeene disappeared, too?" asked Haru. "Did she happen to go missing on July 7th of the year X777?"

"Yes!" Carla replied. "But how did you know that?"

"Because Natsu's dad, Igneel the Fire Dragon, disappeared on the same day," Haru explained, "and from what I heard, Metallicana the Iron Dragon, the dragon who raised Gajeel, also disappeared on that day!"

"I see..." Carla said. "I must confess: taking on Oración Seis wasn't the only reason why the Master had Wendy go on this mission. When I heard about your brother, Natsu, I thought that maybe he might know something about Grandeene and where she might have gone."

"Natsu did say that there might have been something familiar about Wendy," Haru replied. "Maybe after we defeat Oración Seis, we could have the two of them talk."

"I just hope we can find her, first," Carla said, worriedly. "She has to be here, somewhere."

"I'm sure she'll be fine as long as-" Haru suddenly gasped in horror as Blue Fang came to a stop. They saw Wendy, hiding behind a large rock, her body shaking like a leaf... and they also saw why: Natsu, Lucy, Erza, Gray, and the others were all lying on the ground, battered and beaten... and before them stood six people.

Oración Seis.

"Oh, no...!" Happy whispered in horror.

"NATSU!" Haru cried. "GUYS!"

"Urrgh... H... Haru...!" Lucy groaned as she noticed her.

"Well, well... it seems we've missed one," said the one in charge: Brain.

"Haru... quick...!" Gray said in a pained voice. "Take the kid and get outta here!"

Haru gasped as she looked toward Wendy, whose eyes were welling up with tears of fright, then back at the members of Oración Seis... particularly at Brain, who had a wicked smirk.

"So... it's you," he said. "The Sky Maiden."

Without warning, he sent what looked like a chain of smoke toward Wendy with his staff, causing Haru to gasp in horror as she ran toward her.

"WENDY!" she cried as she grabbed the girl and held her close to her chest as the smoke soon coiled around them. Blue Fang yowled as he attempted to run to his best friend's rescue while Carla flew toward Wendy with her paw outstretched. Wendy cried out as she attempted to do the same, and she did manage to grab a paw... just not Carla's.

"Hey!" Happy cried. "What are you doing?!"

"Sis! Happy!" Natsu shouted as he ran to his sister's aid.

"Natsu! HELP US-"

Those were the last words Haru managed to get out... before she, Wendy, and Happy vanished into thin air.

"...ar... Ha... Haru...! Haru!"

"Ugh... huh?" Haru muttered as she began to wake up. The first thing she noticed was that it was really cold and she was lying on something hard. As her vision began to adjust, she soon saw that she was sitting in the middle of a cave... and sitting beside her were Happy and Wendy, both of them sighing in relief as she awoke.

"You're awake!" Happy exclaimed. "Thank goodness!"

"Are you all right, Haru?" Wendy asked.

"I think so," Haru said as she sat up and rubbed her aching head, and that's when she gasped as she remembered what happened to Natsu and the others. "Wait! Where are Natsu and the others?!"

"We don't know," Wendy answered, worriedly. "One minute, we were with everyone, and then the next minute, we're here... and I have no idea where Carla could be."

"Damn..." Haru cursed under her breath. "We must have gotten captured by those Oración Seis jerks!"

"...I'm sorry," Wendy said, causing the Beast Wizard to glance at her. "It's my fault... I just stood there while everyone was getting beaten up. I couldn't do anything to help." She then sniffed and wiped away the tears from her eyes. "I'm so sorry...!"

Haru stared at the 12-year-old girl before she smiled warmly and placed a hand on her shoulder, causing the Sky Dragon Slayer to look up at her.

"It'll be okay, Wendy," Haru reassured. "Listen... my brother and my friends are probably on their way to find us, right now."

"Aye!" Happy exclaimed. "If anyone can help, they can!"

"Don't hold your breath."

Haru, Wendy, and Happy all gasped as they saw Brain, along with the rest of Oración Seis enter the chamber. Almost instantly, Haru growled as she stood up and held her arms out, standing protectively in front of Wendy and Happy, the former whimpering in fear as she hid behind Haru. Nonetheless, Brain continued to grin at the duo darkly.

"At last, I have you... Sky Maiden," he said.

"Hey, Brain," said Racer as he sat down on a rock. "Who is this girl, anyway?"

"Does she have anything to do with Nirvana?" asked Cobra, who stroked the head of his pet snake.

"She certainly doesn't look like much to me," said Angel as she took a look at Wendy.

"Oh, I get it!" exclaimed Hot Eye. "You're going to sell her and the green-haired one for money, aren't you?"

"What?!" Wendy questioned.

"You stay back!" Haru shouted. "Whatever you're planning to do with Wendy, I won't let you do it, you hear me?!"

"Silence!" Brain spat as he backhanded Haru, who cried out as she hit the wall, and as she sat up, she groaned as she held her left temple, which began to bleed.

"Oh, no! Haru!" Wendy cried.

"Hey! There was no need for that!" Happy shouted.

"Ugh... bastard...!" Haru cursed as she held her bloody temple.

"Hang on, Haru!" Wendy said as she went over to her side. "I'll help you!" She then held her hands up to the Beast Wizard's head, causing her palms to emit a warm teal glow... and almost instantly, her wound disappeared, causing Cobra, Angel, Racer, and Hot Eye to gasp in surprise.

"Healing Magic?!" asked Angel.

"She's able to use that kind of Ancient Magic?!" Racer asked.

"I smell money..." Hot Eye said with a grin.

"Ah..." Haru sighed in relief. "Thanks, Wendy. That's much better."

"Mm-hmm," Wendy nodded.

"This couldn't be more perfect," Brain spoke, causing the girls to glare at him. "She's the one we've been looking for!"

"Wait a minute," Cobra said. "Brain... are you saying that...?!"

"Precisely, Cobra," said Brain. "We will use the girl's magic powers to resurrect him!"

"I see," Cobra grinned. "That means we'll have practically found Nirvana!"

Nearby, the one known as Midnight just snoozed quietly.

"Wait... him?" Haru asked. "What do you mean, him?!"

"I'm not going to heal anybody for people like you!" shouted Wendy.

"Oh, but you will," Brain countered. "I guarantee it. You have no choice." He then turned to Racer. "Racer... go and bring him here."

"Even at my fastest, it'll take an hour," said Racer.

"Whatever it takes," Brain replied before he looked at Angel, Cobra, and Hot Eye. "Cobra, Hot Eye, Angel... you three will go out and continue your search for Nirvana."

"But if he's going to be revived, then what's the point?" asked Cobra.

"There's always that one-in-a-million chance," said Brain. "Midnight and I will remain here."

"I don't think Midnight's even interested in going anywhere," Angel quipped as she looked down at the aforementioned man, who snored softly.

"Fine, I'll guess we'll be headin' out, then," Cobra groused.

"Hey, Cobra," Angel smirked. "How about we make a competition of it? The first one to find it-"

"Will get a million Jewel?!" Hot Eye asked. "Count me in!"

"I wasn't going to say that!" Angel argued. "And besides, that's way too much!"

With that, they left to carry out their tasks while Haru stood with Wendy, holding her against her protectively.

"This Nirvana..." Haru said. "What kind of magic is it supposed to be, anyway?"

"I'm so glad you asked, my dear," Brain smirked. "It takes light and darkness... and reverses them."

"R... reverses them?" Wendy asked, nervously.

"I don't think I like the sound of this!" Happy added.

"Well, all the more reason that Wendy's not gonna heal whoever it is you want her to!" Haru argued.

"Oh, but she will," Brain retorted. "She must revive him!"

"And I'm saying that that's not gonna happen!" Haru shouted. "Get it through that skull of yours! Whatever it is you want Wendy to do, she's not gonna do it! What makes you so sure that she'll heal this guy, anyway?!"

"You'll see, soon enough," Brain replied, causing Haru to glare at him. "In the meantime... I suggest making yourself comfortable until Racer returns." With that, he soon walked away, leaving Haru to glare after him while Midnight just kept sleeping.

"Is that guy gonna sleep forever?" Happy asked while Haru sighed and sat down beside Wendy, who looked up at her.

"What's gonna happen, Haru?" Wendy asked.

"Your guess is as good as mine, Wendy," Haru answered as she saw Brain standing by the entrance. "That guy is standing guard..." She then glanced over at Midnight, who was still snoozing. "And even if that guy's asleep, we can't just sneak out of here without Brain noticing... the only thing we can do is hope that Natsu and the others get here quickly."

"...I hope so," Wendy said, worriedly.

"Aye..." Happy agreed.

Soon, an hour had passed and Racer had finally returned... with a large, cross-shaped coffin on his back, locked with iron chains.

"Ugh... this thing is really heavy!" he complained as he dropped the coffin on the floor. "I couldn't run my fastest while I was carrying it!"

"No one is speedier than you, Racer," Brain said before he turned to Wendy, who glared at him in defiance. "Wendy Marvell... you will revive the man inside this coffin."

"I said I'm not going to, so there!" Wendy argued.

"Oh, really?" asked Brain as he began to unlock the chains. "Not even if you knew him?"

"...Wha...?" Wendy muttered.

"What are you talking about?" asked Haru.

"Behold," Brain said as he opened the coffin... causing Haru, Wendy, and Happy to gasp in shock and horror at what they were seeing, for inside the coffin with his body covered in what looked like glowing green cracks... was Jellal Fernandes.

"J... Jellal!" Haru exclaimed.

"I thought he died at the Tower of Heaven!" Happy cried.

"It's you...!" Wendy whispered in disbelief, causing Haru to glance at her in surprise. "Jellal... where have you been...?!"

"Wendy... you know Jellal?!" Haru asked.
