"FIRE DRAGON WING ATTACK!"

The Dark Guild thugs were soon sent flying into the air as they were struck by Natsu's fiery hands. The Fire Dragon Slayer panted heavily, blood dripping from his jaw and his body covered in multiple scratches. Sweat fell from his forehead as he glared at his foes while Carla and Blue Fang hid behind a tree... and as flames seeped through Natsu's clenched jaws, a deep, animalistic growl rumbled from within him.

"Where... are they...?!" he asked. "Tell me where they are!"

"Who the hell is this freak?!" asked one of the thugs, trembling nervously. "After everything we threw at him, he still won't go down!"

"This kid's no ordinary wizard," said another one. "He's gotta be some kind of monster!"

"Easy, Natsu!" Gray called as he ran in, though he looked as if he was in the same state as Natsu was. "Don't knock 'em all out! We need at least one of them conscious so they'll tell us where Oración Seis is keeping Haru, Happy, and Wendy!"

"I don't think he's listening, anymore!" Carla exclaimed, and as she said this, Natsu's body heat began to rise, causing him to combust into flames... and soon after, he roared as he charged forward.

"TELL ME WHERE THEY ARE, RIGHT NOOOOOOOOOW!"

Wendy was frozen with disbelief as she stared at the motionless Jellal while Haru and Happy both stood beside, just as shocked as she was. As for Brain, he gave the girls a mocking grin as he stood beside the young man.

"It's like seeing a ghost, isn't it?" asked Brain, mockingly.

"How... how did you even find him?!" asked Haru.

"I have my sources, child," Brain replied.

"What I wanna know is how is that Wendy knows Jellal!" Happy exclaimed.

"So... you guys know him, too?" Wendy asked.

"He tried to kill Erza a while back!" Happy replied. "Not just that, but he had the Magic Council fire the Etherion at us! He's bad news!"

"W... what?!" Wendy asked in shock. "You mean that was actually true?!"

"Why do you want Wendy to revive Jellal, anyway?!" Haru questioned.

"It's quite simple, my dear," replied Brain. "This man is the only one who knows the location of Nirvana. Once he awakens, that great power will be ours to control!"

"So that's it, huh?" Haru asked.

"Wendy, whatever you do, don't do it!" cried Happy. "Jellal's a bad man!"

"But... he saved my life a long time ago," Wendy said, sadly.

"It doesn't matter if he did!" Happy shouted. "He's an evil person! He'll kill us first before he thanks us!"

"Wait a minute!" Haru exclaimed, causing everyone to look at her... and imagine their surprise when she had no expression of fear, whatsoever. "Give us five minutes... Wendy will come to a decision, then."

"...Very well," Brain said as he and Racer turned and walked out. As they did, Haru turned to face Wendy, placing her hands on her shoulders.

"Haru... I'm so confused," Wendy replied. "What should I do?"

"She shouldn't do it!" Happy exclaimed. "She shouldn't revive him, right, Haru?!"

A pause... before Haru gave Wendy a warm smile.

"Actually," she said, "I think that she should revive Jellal."

"WHAT?!" Happy and Wendy questioned.

"Are you crazy?!" Happy shouted. "Why would you help the bad guys, Haru?!"

"I'm not saying that Wendy should revive Jellal to help them!" Haru argued. "Wendy, listen... I know it's probably hard for you to hear this, right now... and it's true that Jellal did some horrible things... but if you knew him, then it's possible that you know that he's not a bad person deep down, right?"

Wendy sniffled as she wiped her eyes, feeling more confused than ever. She didn't want to help Oración Seis... but at the same time, as she looked at Jellal and the state his body was in, she felt her heart clench before she looked back at the Beast Wizard.

"...When I was little," she began, "I was raised by a dragon..."

"Her name was Grandeene, right?" asked Haru. "Carla told me all about her... about how she disappeared, 7 years ago."

"I was so lost and scared," Wendy replied. "I didn't know what to do... but then, one day, I ran into a boy... his name was Jellal. He took such good care of me... but then, he brought me to Cait Shelter and we went our separate ways... I haven't seen him since then... but I did hear about all the terrible things that he did." She then looked up at Haru with tears in her eyes. "Haru... I love Jellal... but... I don't know if I can wake him up, knowing that he did such bad things."

"You can't!" Happy interjected. "I'm telling you, he's evil!"

"He's NOT evil!" Haru countered. "Wendy, listen to me... the things Jellal did, he didn't do it of his own free will! He was possessed by the spirit of Zeref!"

Wendy gasped silently at this.

"Jellal... he was really a kind and gentle soul, I'm sure," Haru continued. "He and Erza were very close, too. All Jellal wanted was a world where he and his friends could be free... but Zeref's spirit took advantage of his hatred and possessed him. At the Tower of Heaven, just as Erza prepared to give up her life... I'm certain that Jellal saved her from the Lacrima. Don't you see? He gave up his life to save Erza... he broke free from Zeref's control at the very last second. That shows that deep down, he was still the same kind person that he was, all those years ago."

Wendy's eyes went wide while Happy gaped in disbelief.

"Wendy... I'm not saying that you have to revive him," Haru said as she held Wendy's hands, "but if you do... don't do it for those jerks. Do it out of the goodness of your heart... because you know that Jellal still has some goodness in him, too... right?"

The Sky Dragon Slayer whimpered while Happy glanced back and forth between her and Haru, worriedly. Wendy bit her lip, her tears threatening to fall from her eyes, once again. However, she quickly wiped her tears away before she gave the Beast Wizard a serious expression.

"I've made my decision," she said.

"HARU! WENDY! HAPPY!"

Blue Fang panted as he galloped through the abandoned village while he carried Natsu and Carla on his back. The silver wolf was following the scent of his master, as well as Happy and Wendy's scents mixing with hers. However, there was this other scent, too... one that made his fur stand on it... and judging by how he felt Natsu's palms begin to heat up, he could tell that he felt the same way.

They had to hurry.

"Natsu!"

Natsu gasped, instantly recognizing Happy's voice as he heard it coming from a cave up ahead.

"In there!" Natsu exclaimed. "Hurry!"

Soon, the group entered the cave... but the moment they did, they all gasped in shock. They found Haru, Wendy, and Happy, sitting in the corner, and Wendy looked mildly taxed as Haru held her in her arms. Brain stood at one side, a wicked grin on his face while Midnight just kept snoring away... but before him?

There, glaring at Natsu with a cold gaze... was none other than Jellal. The moment their eyes met, Natsu clenched his jaw and tightened his fists to the point where his knuckles turned white. As for Carla, she was more focused on Wendy, who was panting with exhaustion.

"Wendy... you didn't use your Curing Magic on him, did you?!" asked Carla.

"I... I'm sorry," Wendy replied. "I... I owe Jellal my life."

"Carla, if you're gonna get mad at anyone, get mad at me!" Haru answered. "I'm the one who told Wendy to revive Jellal!"

"You did what?!" Carla questioned.

"Yes," Brain replied, "and now, with Jellal revived... Nirvana will soon be ours."

Natsu didn't seem to hear him, though... for he was too focused on Jellal. Blue Fang wasn't much better, for he growled along with him, his fangs bare and ready to rip into the young man's flesh. That's when Natsu's fist combusted into flames, his fury no longer containable at this point.

"You...!" he hissed. "What do you think you're doing here... JELLAAAAAAAL?!"

He then lunged for Jellal, who just kept glaring at him... but then...

"Natsu, no! Stop!" Haru cried as she jumped in her brother's path.

"What the hell?!" Natsu questioned. "Haru, what are you doing?! Get outta the way! Don't you know who that is?!"

"Yes, I know who it is!" Haru replied. "But Natsu, please, hear me out! Jellal's not really evil! He's just-"

"LOOK OUT!" Happy cried out, and as Haru turned around... she gasped as she saw Jellal hold up his hand, unleashing a powerful energy beam that sent her, Natsu, and Blue Fang flying into the cave wall!

"GUYS!" Happy cried in shock while Carla gasped in horror at what she had just witnessed.

"Unreal...!" she whispered. "What kind of power is this?!"

Brain chuckled sinisterly as he approached Jellal and placed a hand on his shoulder. "You always did have excess power, didn't you?"

But then, to his horror... Jellal waved his hand at him, causing the ground beneath his feet to give out before he fell screaming into the abyss below... and the whole time, Midnight was still sleeping away, even while he was buried under some rubble! Seeing that there was no one else left for him to get in his way, the blue-haired Celestial Body Wizard soon turned and walked out. As soon as he left, a pile of rubble shook until Natsu, Blue Fang, and Haru emerged, with the older Dragneel Sibling glaring at his sister.

"'Not evil', huh?" Natsu asked, sarcastically.

"Uh... I've been wrong before...?" Haru replied with a sheepish grin.

"Dammit, I don't believe this," Natsu growled as he looked around. "Where did that Jellal bastard go?!"

"He's gone," Carla replied. "Probably for the best. At any rate... now that we've found Wendy, we should get her back to Erza, right away."

"Wait... what?" asked Haru in surprise. "What about Erza?"

"No way!" Natsu shouted. "I gotta go find Jellal and kick his ass!"

"I thought the point of finding Wendy was for her to cure Erza!" Carla argued. "Or did you forget that?!"

Natsu tensed while Haru's eyes widened before she glanced at her brother.

"What is she talking about?" Haru asked. "Natsu, what's wrong with Erza?"

Natsu sighed before he looked at his sister. "We gotta get Wendy back to Erza, right away... if we don't, Erza will die!"
