It was something surprising which landed in front of Midnight, not the least because she had never seen anything so large! Seeing as most ponies were only a few feet tall, someone as large as this person was unquestionably interesting. Midnight also didn't know why she was holding her two coins in front of her, as she only just saw this person. She decided to put them away for now and help him up.
Meanwhile, in this person's eyes, he saw her levitate two coins away, which wasn't surprising. It was shocking for him to see a pony! She did everything with intense force, not at all like the way he actually handled items. Even though her reactions were slow, she was fairly talkative, and even went as far as to welcome him to the area, talking to the thin air.
Midnight was hardly surprised to see this man in such a dramatic state and decided to bring him along with her while she was traveling to her friend's house. She attempted to pick him up with her magic, but he did not enjoy it, and said it was rude. She decided to leave him be and walk on her own. He did not follow her, and even though the celestial colors of Luna and Celestia approved of her traveling with him, it did not happen. So was their brief but enjoyable time together!
